It was a bright and sunny day in Ponyville. Just behind and near Twilight’s castle, the mane eight, Spike, Oliver, Lightning and the Young Six were having a picnic.
The Young Seven were playing hide and seek tag while the girls, Spike and Oliver watched and ate some picnic food, as for Rainbow though, she was laying down on her back with her sunglasses on and her hooves behind her head while looking up into the sky.
Rarity let out a happy sigh before saying, “Such a beautiful day, right darlings?”
They all nodded in an agreement before Oliver slowly got up.
“Yep,” he said as he began to stretch his hooves out, “A nice peaceful day, with happiness in the air.”
“And the happiness my baby boy has with his friends,” Fluttershy added as she watched her son getting tickled by Smolder and Silverstream as they were all laughing along.
“Couldn’t agree more,” said Rainbow still looking up with her sunglasses on, “Nothing can ever go wrong today.”
Just as those words came out of her big mouth, a few seconds later, a familiar voice can be heard that only the mane seven and Spike know that voice.
“Twilight! Twilight!”
Rainbow sat up and took her sunglasses off as she, the mane seven, Spike and Oliver turned their heads to the left as the Young Seven stopped playing and looked to the left as well and saw seven ponies running towards them.
The one running in front was a gray unicorn with a white beard, a blue cloak with stars and moons on it along with a hat with a bell on it that had the exact same printing of stars and moons on it. The other six running behind him were a huge stallion with strength to hit a boulder, an Egyptian like pegasus, a unicorn with a old cloak, an older unicorn, and another pegasus with armor.
“Star Swirl?” Twilight said in shock as she was surprised to see her idol again for a third time.
“Who?” Oliver asked.
“I thought he disappeared a long time ago,” said Sunset in confusion.
“I’ll explain to you later,” Starlight said to her.
The pillars stopped near the girls as they began to catch their breath from running that fast to get to them.
Star Swirl was still catching his breath as he began to speak, “Twilight! Something’s coming! Something evil! And we need you and the girls’ help!”
“What evil?” Applejack asked as she got up, “Can you describe it a little bit more?”
“Well, you see, this evil that I’m talking about is....”
Before Star Swirl could finish his sentence, the sky suddenly turned dark. Very, very dark. Then, some dark smoke came shooting out the dark clouds like a tornado as evil laughs can be hard. This made Lightning Twister shake in fear and became more scared than before as Smolder picked him up and hugged him in comfort.
“It’s okay Lightning,” she whispered in his ear, “I’ve got you.”
The dark smoke tornado suddenly into a dark cloud on the ground as it moved a bit before a face suddenly appeared from it. The face was the same as a stallion face but all dark, with green and purple eyes as it moved like Celestia’s mane and lastly a sharp, pointy and red horn appeared on the top of the head.
It was King Sombra.
“Ten hundred moons I waited,” he said before growing an evil grin on his face.
Spike run towards Twilight as he hugged her hoof while Lightning buried his face into Smolder’s chest in fear.
“Ten hundred moons I waited for my return!”
All of a sudden, thunder shot out from the dark clouds two times, hoping to scare some ponies if they have watched his return.
“King Sombra?!” Twilight asked in shock than she ever was.
“Really?” Added Rainbow Dash as she flew up in mid air, “You waited that long? Then I guess ten hundred must be a new high score for a villain waiting that long. What say you tell us about your days being gone over a cup of Apple cider, eh?”
“A King doesn’t talk to puny ponies.”
He then magically summon a big dark smoke to make sure the girls or the others don’t see where he was going as his head went back into the smoke and tornado away making the dark cloud disappear as the bright sky reappeared again.
The dark smoke, that hit the girls and the others, flew away revealing Oliver had magically summon a shield to protect them from the dark smoke as he made it disappeared now that the smoke was gone.
“I can not believe my eyes!” Rarity shouted in shock and in drama mode.
“I know Rarity,” said Twilight in very shock, “That was King Sombra! He’s come back!”
“B-But how?!” Spike asked as he was shocked as well, “I thought he was destroyed when the Crystal Heart was back in its place and made the Crystal Empire the way it was before when it returned!”
“Uh... I believe I have the answer to that,” said Star Swirl as he rubbed the back of his head while walking towards Twilight.
“What’s wrong, Star Swirl?” asked Twilight as she was now worried about her idol.
“Well, you see,” he began to sweat a bit, “Me, Stygian and the pillars were searching the history of Princess Amore.”
“The first princess of the Crystal Empire?” Oliver asked as he earned a nod from Twilight.
“And we went to to the Crystal Empire to see if there’s any way to bring her back since Sombra was now defeated. When we got the secret caves underneath the castle, we saw a secret room, went inside and saw a black box which was locked tight.”
“Then what?” Starlight Glimmer was now interested like the others were.
“And I thought Amore’s soul was trapped in that box, when it actually hold the soul of King Sombra because of that little note warning next to it. But until we figured that out, the box got opened, releasing Sombra’s soul free.”
“And how did the box get unlocked, and also who did it?” Sunset asked raising an eyebrow.
Star Swirl took a deep breath before answering, but he mumbled the answer instead of speaking properly. This made the girls, Spike, Oliver and the Young Seven confuse.
“Huh?” Asked Twilight.
Star Swirl cleared his throat and took a moment of silence before answering PROPERLY.
“I was the one who opened the box and let Sombra out, by using an unlocking spell.”
This left everycreature in shock as they couldn’t believe the legendary pony, and also Twilight’s idol, would do such a thing, even if it was just to see if Princess Amore could come back once again like they did.
Twilight was in shock for a few seconds before turning it into an angry look on her face.
“Uhh uhh, hope you’re not too mad at me I hope, Twilight?” Star Swirl began to sweat uncontrollable as she never saw Twilight this anger before, even at him.
“Not too mad at you?! NOT TOO MAD AT YOU?!?!” Twilight shouted at him with a furious look on her face.
The others took a step back while Lightning ran underneath Silverstream and hugged her leg, they’ve never seen Twilight this furious before, especially in front of her idol.
“I’m not just mad at you. I’m, FURIOUS AT YOU!!!!” Star Swirl got more scared of Twilight’s anger as she continued.
“NOT ONLY HAVE YOU UNRELEASED THE MOST DANGEROUS THREAT OF EQUESTRIA THAT WE MANAGE TO GET RID OFF A LONG AGO, well it was Spike who defeated him actually, BUT YOU'VE ALSO DOOMED THE ENTRIE EQUESTRIA WITH THAT NIGHTMARE!!”
Star Swirl was sweating even more at hearing what Twilight just said. “I-I-I, I just wanted to see if there was a way to bring Princess Amore back.”
“BY UNLOCKING A BOX THAT WAS HOLDING SOMBRA’S SPIRIT?!?!” Twilight continued as she got close to Star Swirl’s face, making him even more scared than ever. “IF SHE WAS IN THERE WITH HIM, SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE OPENED IT!!”
She then moved away from his face as she finished her sentence. “This is the Pony of Shadows Return day all over again! Except, I’m Star Swirl the Bearded, and you’re Twilight Sparkle! And let’s head back to the castle so we can figure out to send Sombra back where he came from while I’m still mad at you!”
She began to walk back to her castle as she then mumbled, “Thanks for dooming us all, Star Swirl.”
The others looked at Twilight walking to the castle for a few seconds before Oliver turned to the girls and Spike before saying, “You know, I actually have to agree with Aunt Twilight on this. It was pretty stupid to ignore a warning when you’re trying to bring back a legendary pony, even if you really wanted to meet them for real.” He then began to walk back to the castle.
“How true,” Applejack said, “How true.”
The others nodded in agreement before walking back to the castle as well, Silverstream placed Lightning onto her back as she and her friends walked to the castle too.
Stygian walked up to Star Swirl as he gave him an angry glare, “I told you she wouldn’t be happy with you. This was a stupid idea after all.”
He and the other five pillars walked off to the castle leaving Star Swirl looking down in shame. He should have thought this through before opening the box, now it was his turn to feel ashamed for releasing an evil threat to Equestria. He then started to make his way to the castle.
Everycreature were in the throne room, waiting for Twilight, Sunset, Starlight and Oliver as they were in the library trying to find a book that can send Sombra back to where he came from. Star Swirl was looking at the cutie map in shame while the others were talking to each other.
“I sure hope Twilight will find a way to defeat Sombra,” said Ocellus as she now got scared, “I feel like he’s going to hunt my dreams forever now.”
Mage Meadowbrook gently rubbed Ocellus’s head in comfort.
“Don’t worry, little Changeling. I’m sure she will, she is the princess of Friendship after all. She found a way to save Equestria once before when we all returned along with...” She then spotted Lightning Twister who was hiding underneath Fluttershy. “Oh hello there, little one.”
She walked towards Fluttershy while looking at Lightning with a smile on her face.
“Is he yours, Fluttershy?” She asked kindly earning a nod from Fluttershy.
“Mage, this is my son, Lightning Twister.” She then nuzzled Lightning, “Don’t be scared, sweetheart. This is Mage Meadowbrook, one the pillars of Equestria.”
Lightning walked from underneath slowly as he saw Meadowbrook had a friendly smile on her face.
“Hello,” she said softly before kneeling down to Lightning’s level, “My name is Mage Meadowbrook. Don’t scared, I won’t hurt you.”
Lightning got a little closer to her before saying, “I’m Lightning Twister.”
Meadowbrook smiled at him, “Nice to meet you, Lightning sweetie.”
She then gently picked Lightning up with her left hoof as she held him gently before the other pillars walked to them.
“Aw look at you, aren’t you little cutie?” Sombambula said as she began to tickle Lightning’s belly with her hoof which made him giggle, “You’re a little cutie.”
“Isn’t he adorable?” Stygian asked as he smiled at the little colt.
“Fluttershy’s a mother now? Awesome!” Flash Magnus said happily.
“Tell me Fluttershy,” said Sombambula, “What made you wanna become a mother to this sweet little cutie?”
“Well, it’s a long story actually,” began Fluttershy as she told the pillars what happened.
After fifty minutes of telling the story, the pillars looked at Lightning, whose still in Meadowbrook’s hoof, as sad looks grew on their faces. They felt real bad for what Lightning had been through.
“Oh my poor dear,” Mistmane said in sadness, “I’m so sorry.”
“Yeah kid,” Flash said as he flew towards him, “You really didn’t deserve what your father did to you before Fluttershy adopted you.”
“It’s okay,” replied Lightning, “I feel a lot safer now that I got a new momma and a new family that loves me like my friends do.”
“Good,” said Stygian.
Just then, the doors opened as Twilight, Sunset, Starlight and Oliver came into the room with not so happy looks on their faces.
“Ugh! It’s no good everycreature,” said Twilight, “We couldn’t find any book that can help us defeat Sombra, we tried looking in every book there was in the library.”
“But no luck from any,” added Sunset Shimmer.
“But there’s got to a way to defeat him,” said Applejack, “We can’t just let him be out there somewhere while we try to find a way to stop him.”
“You’re right Applejack,” Starlight said, “There has to be a way. If only there was somepony who has the right book that has the answer to this problem.”
Spike was rubbing his chin trying to think as well, “Not somepony,” he said before he thought of something as he let out a smile and snapped his claw fingers, “But someCAT.”
Twilight suddenly knew who Spike was talking about. “Capper! Spike, you’re a genius! He had a book that has information about the hippogriffs when Storm King attacked Canterlot, so I bet that he has also got a book that can help us defeat Sombra.”
As she said those words, Rarity started acting like a drama queen.
“Oh not that town again! We were nearly sold to that naked mole thanks to him! There’s no way I’m going back there! Never!”
“But Rarity, what about the danger of Equestria?” Pinkie asked in a sad tone.
“She’s right Rarity,” said Rainbow as she flew towards her, “If we don’t this, Sombra wins and everypony will suffer to his terrible nightmares. We have no other choice, it’s either go to Klugetown to see if Capper has that book, or let everypony be doomed.”
“And besides,” added Applejack, “We got to do this together. We need all the help we can get.”
“Dress making pony needs to help us!” Yona said.
Rarity let out a sigh, there was no way out of this.
“Alright fine, I’ll come. But this is the last time I’m going there!”
“Great! Let’s get to it,” said Stygian.
“To Klugetown!” Said Spike.
“But how would we get there?” Rainbow asked, “It’s way too far from here, and there’s no telling what Sombra has planned! It’ll be too late for us to stop him once we get there!”
“Leave that to me,” Oliver said as he stepped in, “Thanks to my friend, John Constantine. I’m able to teleport us all there without asking the princesses to help us since teleporting more than two ponies or creatures can be hard for one pony to do.”
The others nodded in agreement as Star Swirl stood near Twilight.
“You have a really smart and clever nephew, Twilight.” He formed a smile to her, but she gave him an angry look before turning her head round and closed her eyes.
“Glad you notice,” she said still not looking at him. This made Star Swirl more sad and guilty.
“Are you sure you can do it, Oliver?” Asked Sandbar, “Cos I’m a bit worried that you might hurt one of us and you when you do the teleport spell.” Gallus nodded in agreement.
Oliver looked at Sandbar with a smile before saying, “Trust me. I’m Oliver Sparkle.”
The ponies and creatures all gathered round Oliver as he began to say the teleport spell words in a different language while his horn was glowing black ink grasp. After finishing the spell words, he raised his head up as the magic grasp lit up and made everycreature in the room vanished to Klugetown.
In Klugetown, it was like a desert’s town, with houses that don’t look built right, tiny shop markets, a water windmill with no water running it so it’s like a windmill instead, and in the town, instead of having ponies, it had animals that stand on two feet and wore weird clothing. And all of them aren’t very friendly, except for one though, you’ll see in a bit.
The mane eight, Spike, Oliver, the Young Seven and the pillars teleported in front of the entrance to Klugetown as Sunset, Starlight, Oliver, the Young Seven and the pillars all started to looked around. They’ve not been to Klugetown before, it was only the mane six and Spike who visited the town once.
“Yona not like this place, it’s creepy,” said Yona shaking a bit.
“I agree,” Gallus said, “This place doesn’t seem very friendly like Ponyville.”
“It’s alright everycreature,” said Rainbow Dash, “Some of these creatures would already know us after our last visit, so we should be okay. Just stay by us, and don’t wander off.”
The Young Six nodded as Silverstream then felt Lightning hugging her leg tightly as he shook before looking up to her and said, “Silverstream, I’m scared.”
Silverstream gently picked him up with her left claw and held him close to her chest in comfort.
“Don’t be scared, sweetie. We’re here for you.”
“Yeah Lightning,” Smolder said as she gently stroked Lightning’s mane with her claw, “We’ll protect you.”
“Come on everycreature,” said Twilight, “Capper’s house is this way. Follow me.”
Silverstream placed Lightning onto her back as she, the Young Five, the mane seven, Spike, Oliver and the pillars followed Twilight to Capper’s apartment.
As they walked through the town towards Capper’s apartment, most of the creatures looked at them and started talking amongst theirselves and also staring at them. This made Lightning more scared than before, but luckily, Smolder was walking by Silverstream as she saw him shaking before placing a claw on his shoulder and started rubbing it in comfort.
Fluttershy saw what they were doing and gave them the stare warning them to leave her son alone.
After twelve minutes, they’ve reached to Capper’s apartment as they stood near his front door.
Twilight went up to the door and knocked on it.
“Capper! It’s me, Twilight Sparkle! Are you in?”
After a few seconds, the front door opened to reveal an anthropomorphic cat with moderate gambolge with darker face, ears, paws and tail with lighter chest fur, light malachite green eyes, dark grayish indigo hair, wore a dark red coat and his tail had a wrapped up bandage on it, or whatever it is.
“Princess Twilight Sparkle,” he said in surprise, “What a surprise to you and your friends again. And a few others I see.”
“Tell you everything inside Capper,” said Twilight as she and the others walked inside, kindly greeted by Capper as he closed the door behind him.
Inside Capper’s house, it was still the same the last time the mane six and Spike visited, only this time, the paintings with his face glued on to them were in the bin and new paintings had him and the mane six and Spike in them.
“I see your old paintings have been thrown away,” said Spike as he pointed to the bin.
“Yeah well you see, I got tired of lying about being popular after that adventure we had fighting the Storm King, so I decided to change my ways and move, thanks to friendship and you guys,” explained Capper kindly as the mane five and Spike smiled at him proudly, except Rarity whose still a drama queen about what happened last time.
He then turned to Twilight as he kindly asked, “So what can I do for you lot? Because I do believe you’re not here to pay a visit to me, aren’t you?”
“Of course we are,” Twilight said while smiling at him, “But we were wondering if maybe you have a book on, defeating Sombra whose now back.” She and the mane five then gave Star Swirl an angry look as he tried to hide his face with his right hoof.
“Ah yes,” answered Capper, “I believe I have a book on that right next to the history of the hippogriffs on the top shelve. Shall I go get it for you?”
“No that’s okay,” said Twilight kindly, “We can go get it.” She turned to the girls, the pillars and the Young Seven, “Girls, everycreature, keep Capper company while we do some searching on the book.” They all, except for Rarity, nodded as Twilight, Oliver, Sunset, Starlight and Spike went to the book shelve to search that book.
“So it looks you got a lot of stories to tell me,” Capper said before seeing Lightning hiding behind Silverstream’s head, “And I think you can start with whose child is that.”
“Oh he’s my child,” Fluttershy answered as she picked him up and held him, “This is my son, Lightning Twister. Let me start from the beginning.”
While Fluttershy was telling Capper how Lightning Twister became her son, Twilight and the others were looking on the top shelve for the book, until Sunset found it.
“Aha! There you are.” She pulled the book out with her book as she gently placed it on the table and opened it.
The five began to read through five different pages of the book to find the answer to their question about defeating Sombra, until they’ve found the page they’re looking for.
“Ah here we are,” said Spike happily as they began to read it.
After fifty seconds of reading that page, they’ve finally saw the information that they needed to defeat Sombra.
“Okay so the only way to defeat him, so to find the one thing inside of him that’s making him powerful, and it should bring him back to where he came from,” said Starlight which she’s now confuse by it like the other four are.
“Find the one thing inside of him that’s making him powerful?” Spike asked confusedly.
“Gee how can we find that one thing?” Asked Oliver.
Star Swirl walked towards the table, making Twilight angry again since she’s still not happy with him.
“Did you find a way to defeat Sombra yet?” He asked nervously.
“Yeah we did actually,” answered Twilight angrily, “But now we can’t figure out what it means by finding the one thing that’s making him powerful, no thanks to you still!” She went up to him and got close to his face, “And you know what, I was a lot happier before you helped Sombra return!”
Star Swirl sighed sadly, “You’re still mad at me, I guess.”
“Still angry at you or not,” Twilight continued, “None of that matters. What DOES matter is that right now, somewhere out there in Equestria, Sombra is now threatening innocent lives of those poor ponies with his terrifying nightmares and trying to become king again, and we’re the only ones who can stop him now!”
“But Twilight, I....” Before Star Swirl could continue, they heard screaming outside the house, the others heard it too.
“What’s going on out there?” Capper asked as they all ran outside to see what was going on.
When they got out of the house, they saw all the creatures running away as fast as they could as an out of control dark tornado was spinning away wildly and heading straight towards the mane eight and the others.
“What is that?!” Asked Stygian in shock as he pointed to the tornado.
“Sombra,” Oliver answered, “I recognise that dark tornado from anywhere, he must have known that we’re trying to find a way to stop him. He knows we’re here.”
“Oh that’s not good,” said Ocellus as she took a few steps back.
“Okay how about we stop talking about how bad this is,” Applejack said, “And RUUNN!!”
“PANIC!!” Shouted Yona as they all, including Capper, began to run away from the dark tornado as fast as they could.
They ran past the now damage market shops, almost broken buildings, the windmill that was spinning faster than an road runner and lastly they ran through the entrance as they were in the desert and a couple of miles away from Klugetown until they were starting to run out of breath and stopped running.
They turned round and saw the tornado was still on their tails as it got closer and closer. The wind from it was blowing in so strong, Lightning wasn’t able to hold on to his mother’s hoof for that long as the wind made him let go of the hoof and started to blow him into the tornado as he started screaming.
“MOMMA!!” He cried as he was heading towards the tornado.
“LIGHTNING!!” She cried back.
That’s when Somnabula strapped her wings out and said, “I’ll save him!”
She then took off into the air and flew towards the colt that was about to get blown into the tornado. Lightning tried to fly away from the tornado, but it was no use, the wind was too strong for him. He closed his eyes as he was close to the tornado, until he felt two hooves grabbing him gently and pulling him away from the tornado, he then opened his eyes and saw that Somnabula had saved him.
“Don’t worry sweetheart,” she said as she started to nuzzle him, “I’ve got you.”
She then flew back to the group with Lightning still in her hooves as the tornado became stronger as more wind was trying to blow them into it.
Oliver looked around to see if there was anything that can help, until he saw a medium long bone just laying there in the sand as he picked up with his magic.
“What are you doing?” Pinkie asked him.
“Calling for help,” he answered, “I just hope he’s able to get my message before we’re all blown into that thing.”
He pulled the bone in front of him and began to whisper a magic spell in a different language as the bone began to glow black ink. Once he had finish, he flew the bone away as it then disappeared as the black grasp turned into tiny sparks.
The dark tornado became bigger, stronger and closer to the group as Lightning began to shake in Somnabula’s hooves.
“Oliver, whatever you’re doing, you better hurry!” Flash Magnus shouted.
“Come on! Come on!” Oliver said through his teeth as he began to sweat worriedly.
Suddenly, after a few more seconds of waiting, Oliver saw a house that magically appeared a few miles in front of them.
“There!”
They all ran towards the house, except for Star Swirl who stood there in shock as he never see a house do that before.
“How did that house magically appeared here?” He asked.
“That can be explained later, Star Swirl. Come on!” Rockhoof said as Star Swirl began ran and caught up with the group as they all ran towards the house.
The door of the house opened up to reveal John Constantine as he stepped out of the house.
“Oliver, quick! Into the house!”
Constantine allowed everycreature to ran past him and into the house as he quickly closed the door. The house then disappeared before the dark tornado can get to it as it disappeared as well making sand fly everywhere in the desert.
Everycreature was on the floor catching their breath as they all got up while Constantine helped Oliver up.
“Oliver, you alright?” Asked John.
“Yeah I think so,” answered Oliver, “Good thing you came here quickly before the tornado got to us.”
“I should have known you were the one who made that bone appear in the fireplace,” said John, “I knew something wasn’t right when it landed into the fire.”
Constantine then saw Star Swirl who was standing near the entrance to the living room.
“Odd new seven pony group for a field trip, to what was going on out there?”
“The reason why we were out there,” Oliver explained, “Was because King Sombra’s back and we needed to find a way to bring him back to where he came from, Capper had the book that had the way to defeat him. Plus, in case you were gonna ask how Sombra came back, is because of Star Swirl who let him out of his prison chest.”
Star Swirl smiled nervously at Constantine hoping he wasn’t mad at him, but truth to be told, he was mad him as he gave him a not so happy look on his face.
“Such a cool place you’ve got here,” Flash Magnus said as he, Capper and the other pillars looked around the place. “I’ve never seen a house that can magically appear like that before.”
“Looks like you have now mate,” replied Constantine as he placed his fists on his hips.
“Very interesting,” said Stygian rubbing his chin with interest, “A house that can teleport to one place to another.”
“How does it do that?” Rockhoof asked.
“There’s no time to explain about the house,” Sunset said, “Sombra’s still out there somewhere and we need to figure out what did the book mean about finding something inside of him that’s making him powerful.”
“Sunset’s right,” added Oliver, “John, do you have a book in here that can maybe help us find what’s making Sombra powerful so we can destroy it?”
“Hmmm,” said John as he placed his hand on his chin trying to think. “I do believe there’s a book somewhere around that could help, mate.”
“Then let’s start looking for it,” Starlight said in a serious tone.
“Right. Sunset, Starlight, Oliver, Spike and me will go upstairs and search from there, the rest of you will stay down here and search there,” ordered Twilight kindly as they all nodded in understood before Twilight, Sunset, Starlight, Spike and Oliver went upstairs.
Star Swirl decided to join, instead of searching downstairs, as he ran up to them.
“I’ll come with you Twilight,” he said, “You’ll never know how lucky you might get if we both find it together.”
He gave her a smile, but Twilight was still not happy with him as she gave him an angry look before looking away. Star Swirl’s smile then turned into a sad look as he looked down in shame.
Three hours has passed, and everycreature was still looking for the book that can help find what’s making Sombra so powerful in order to destroy it so he can be defeat once more. Twilight, Spike, Oliver, Sunset, Starlight and Star Swirl were still upstairs searching for the book as well.
After throwing one book away that didn’t have the answer, Star Swirl looked at Twilight in sadness. He knew he messed things up big time and Twilight was still not happy with him, but he wanted to make things right and earn Twilight’s forgiveness. He let out a sigh before walking towards the princess of Friendship.
Twilight was still searching for that book until she saw Star Swirl walking towards her as she then gave him an angry look.
“Twilight,” He said, “Listen, I know you’re still mad at me for releasing King Sombra. But I am really sorry I did all of that. It’s just that, since you’re brought us back and we’re still legends, I thought that other legend ponies could return if they’ve disappeared like us. But instead, like what happened with the Pony of Shadows, I’ve unleashed a monster that was destroyed a long time ago and its soul was placed in that chest so it can never return again. But the point is...” he looked down in sadness, guilt and shame. “I’m sorry.”
After hearing after Star Swirl just said, her angry look turned into a sad look as she looked down in shame. Star Swirl saw this and looked confusedly at her.
“I’m sorry too,” she said, “I didn’t mean to get mad at you. It’s just that, I wasn’t the one who placed the Crystal heart back in its place at the Crystal Empire, neither did the five girls, it was Spike. And I didn’t want him to get captured or hurt by Sombra if he’s planning to get revenge on him. He means the world to me, he’s more than just my number one assistant or a friend, he’s more like my little brother, but he’s also like my son when I hatched him. And I don’t want to lose him to that, that, Nightmare Lord.”
She then looked at Star Swirl again as his face had a sad look again after hearing what she just said.
“Star Swirl, I’m sorry for everything I said to you.”
Star Swirl gently wrapped a hoof around Twilight’s neck.
“I understand, Twilight.” He then pulled her into a comfort hug as she hugged him as well. “I understand.”
They stayed like that for a couple more seconds before they broke the hug.
“Now come on,” He said to her kindly, “Let’s continue looking for that book, we’ve got an evil king to stop.”
Twilight nodded in agreement as they both continued the search for the book.
After three hours of searching, Lightning Twister finally found the book with the answer in.
“Hey everycreature!” He called out to them while holding the book in his hooves, “I’ve found it! I’ve found the book with the answer in!”
Everycreature in the house smiled at him as they went up to him.
“That’s my little boy,” said Fluttershy as she stroked her son’s mane.
“I’m impress with your son Fluttershy,” said Mage Meadowbrook proudly as she placed a hoof on her chest, “You’ve raised him quite well.” She then smiled at the young colt.
“I agree,” added Capper, “He’s indeed a smart kid.”
John gently took the book from Lightning as he then began to read through the page that had the spell to enter Sombra’s mind to find the weakness.
“Ah here we are!” He said as he pointed to where the spell on the page was.
“Right, it looks we’re gonna do this outside since we need enough room to draw the summon circle,” he explained, “And we need someone to stand in the circle so I can use the spell on them so they can find Sombra’s weak spot. Anyone volunteering?”
Neither of the creatures in the room wanted to do it, they were scared that they might get trapped in Sombra’s soul forever and be haunted by their worst nightmares. Until one voice was heard.
“I’ll do it.”
They all turned to see that it was Oliver who said it, they were all shocked.
“Are you sure about this, Oliver? Starlight asked, “You know what Sombra’s darkness can do to you.” Sunset nodded in agreement.
“Don’t worry Starlight,” he replied, “If I can handle Ink magic, I’m sure I can handle his darkness. Even if I find his weak spot and get out quick in a flash, his darkness won’t do anything to me.”
Constantine placed his hand on his shoulder while smiling at him and said, “You’re making a brave choice there, mate.”
Starlight and Sunset smiled as well as the others did before Sunset said,
“Then we believe you can do it, Oliver.”
“Momma,” said Lightning, “Can I stay in here? I don’t want to see what’ll happen out there.”
Fluttershy hugged her son before answering, “Don’t worry, sweetie. I wouldn’t let you see things that might scare you. That’s why I am letting you stay in here with your friends and Capper.” She then placed Lightning on the Silverstream’s back gently before hearing Rarity’s voice.
“WHAT?!” She shouted, “You're letting that cat look after the students and your son?! Fluttershy, are you out of your mind?!”
Every creature in the room gave Rarity a not so happy look after what she just said, even Lightning wasn’t happy with her Auntie Rarity for the first time.
“Rarity,” began Star Swirl, “This is a serious matter! We can’t be dealing with your drama queen act over what Capper did to you awhile back! He’s with us now, and we need his help with looking after the children right now!”
“But But he tried to...” Rarity was cut off by Fluttershy as she got to her face while looking angrily at her.
“None of us care about what he tried to do us awhile back during the storm invasion, Rarity! We just need him to look after the students and my son while we do the spell! So will you please let him look after them and, STOP ACTING LIKE A DRAMA QUEEN?!?!”
Rarity shakily nodded for a yes as Fluttershy then let out a deep breath before turning to Capper, hoping he will look after the Young Seven.
“Don’t you worry, Fluttershy. I’ll look after your son and his friends till you lot have finish finding Sombra’s weak spot.” He then smiled at his pony friends.
“Marvellous,” said Twilight happily, “Then let’s begin.”
Everypony, including Constantine and Spike, nodded before they all went outside to do the spell, leaving Capper and the Young Seven in the living room where it’s safe.
Capper was sitting on one of the chairs near the fireplace while Smolder was sitting on the other with Lightning on her lap, the rest just sat on the floor waiting for the girls, Spike, the pillars and Constantine to come back in.
Capper looked at Lightning for a few seconds before getting up and walked towards him.
“Hey Lightning,” he began, “After hearing what your mother has told me about what happened to your real mother, I just wanna say that I’m sorry for what has happened. I just hope that you know that she’ll always be with inside of you. In your heart.”
“It’s okay Capper,” he replied with a smile, “And yes, I do know she’ll always be in my heart. Momma told me that before she adopted me.”
Capper smiled at him.
“And I was also told that your father blamed you for her death and did all those nasty things to you.” He knelt down and gently placed his paws on Lightning’s shoulders before continuing, “I want you to listen to me, big guy. It was not your fault at all for what happened to your mom. It was a bad accident, and you didn't deserve any of the blame that your dad has put on you and all the things he did to you, do you understand?" Asking in a serious yet gentle tone.
Lightning Twister nodded as he then hugged Capper round the neck before saying, “Thanks, Capper.”
Capper returned the hug and said, “There’s no need to thank me, kiddo. I’m just telling you the truth.” He then gently pulled him away, “If you want to, you can call me Uncle Capper or Papa Capper. I don’t mind which one you choose to call me.” Giving him a wink.
Lightning smiled at Capper before saying, “I think I’ll call you, Papa Capper.” Capper then rubbed his head gently.
“That’s fine with me kiddo,” he said happily, “Now how about I find a story for me to read for you?”
The Young Seven nodded for a yes as Capper stood up and walked to one of the book shelves to find a perfect story to read to them.
Meanwhile, outside the house, Constantine was finishing drawing the summoning circle on the ground as he placed the box of salt away and looked at Oliver as he walked into the circle while everypony was watching near the circle so nothing bad happens.
John then hold his hand out, said the magic spell in a different language as dark golden grasp appeared around his hand and then closed his hand after a few seconds once he had finish saying spell. The dark golden grasp appeared around Oliver as he was ready to say the same words as Constantine now gonna say.
Together, they both spoke in a different language as they both said the spell three times, as dark smoke came from the speak and tornado its way into Oliver’s eyes as he screamed in pain while the dark golden grasp disappeared. Just then, the screaming stopped as Oliver stood very still, not moving, as his eyes opened up to reveal black eyes, meaning he was now in the darkness of King Sombra’s soul.
Oliver looked around, and saw nothing but darkness.
“So this is what the inside of Sombra looks like,” he said to himself, “Well this is a load of rubbish.”
He started to look left and right as he walked forwards to search for the weakness.
After one hour of walking, Oliver grew tired of walking, and was getting annoyed and angry.
“Ugh!” He said angrily, “This goes on forever and forever! I’m never gonna find the weakness so we can stop Sombra now!”
Just then, he heard a female voice that he never heard before, “Hello? Is somepony there?”
Oliver looked around to locate the voice. “Who’s there? Show yourself!”
“I’m, over here.”
Oliver turned to his right and saw a unicorn trapped in dark chains. The unicorn was very pale vermilion, had gradient of brilliant raspberry to moderate cobalt blue mane, brilliant amber eyes and have light blue and yellow princess jewel on her hooves and chest with a crown on her head, and her cutie mark is a a deep blue snowflake between blue laces. Her name was, Princess Amore.
Oliver started to walk over Amore as he then stopped just near her.
“Are you, Princess Amore?” Oliver asked.
Amore nodded before answering, “Yes, I am Princess Amore?” She groaned in pain as the chains tightened her more before letting less a bit. “Who... are you?”
“I’m Oliver Sparkle,” he answered as he bowed to her, “Son of Prince Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, brother of Flurry Heart the future princess, and I’m the future captain.” He then stood back up.
“So, the Crystal Empire, finally has, somepony better to, rule it,” She said happily.
“Yes, long ago after the Crystal Empire returned to Equestria. But, why are you here inside of Sombra’s darkness?” Oliver asked.
Amore groaned in pain a bit before answering, “Because... I’m the one, that’s giving Sombra, extra strength, and, power.”
“But, why?”
“Because,” she began to explain, “When Sombra destroyed me, I casted a spell upon one of his darknesses so that one day, when he finally got destroyed, I’ll hold him away inside a chest deep underneath the Crystal Empire where nopony can find it and that Sombra can never bring harm to anypony ever again. Until that stupid wizard pony found the chest, ignored that warning and opened it releasing Sombra from his prison and into his new darkness form. And when he was freed, that split second before I could try to stop him, he trapped me in his own chains holding me down and using my magic for his strength and power to grow stronger and stronger. I tried to break them, but no matter how much I try to, they kept holding me tighter, and hurt me in pain.”
She looked at Oliver in the eyes.
“And there was nopony I knew that I could ask for help. Everypony I knew no longer lives in the Crystal Empire before it disappeared a long time ago, or probably already have forgotten about me. I feel like help will soon come to me, but when I look around this place, I can feel like my time in Equestria is now over.”
“But what happens if you do break them and finally got out of here?”
“If I do get out of here,” replied Amore, “Sombra will be destroyed and can never return again. No chest, no cage, no secret prison. But it’ll take powerful magic to set me free and send Sombra’s destroyed body someplace where he can’t bring harm to anypony. And there’s nopony who has that powerful magic. Not even a legendary pony.”
Oliver gently wrapped a hoof around Amore’s hoof and hold it for a few seconds before a big wind blew in as Sombra’s evil growl can be heard.
“Oh no!” Said Oliver in shock, “He knows I’m here!”
Outside Sombra’s darkness, three dark circles spun around Oliver’s body as it made him twitch in pain which means the darkness is destroying him. This made John, Spike, the mane eight and the pillars shock and/or worried as they saw what’s going on.
Constantine quickly placed his hands out as dark golden grasp appear round them and Oliver as John tried to pull Oliver out of the dark circles and the summoning circle. Twilight was sweating worriedly as she fears he might not make it.
The wind inside the darkness blew stronger and stronger as Oliver couldn’t hold onto Amore any longer. But he had enough time to say,
“Amore! Amore, I swear I’ll get you out!”
He then let go of her hooves as he flew backwards to where the wind was blowing as he shouted, “I SWEAR I WILL GET YOU OUT!!!!”
Oliver flew backwards into the bright light that appeared and disappeared, leaving Amore trapped in chains inside the darkness of Sombra.
John managed to pull Oliver out of the circles as he rolled onto his back, he then shot up and gasped as he opened his eyes before breathing heavily.
Everypony, John and Spike ran towards him as Twilight placed a hoof on his shoulder. “Oliver, what happened in there? Did you find what was making Sombra stronger?”
“And are we able to destroy it?” Rainbow added.
Oliver continued to breath heavily as Capper and the Young Six ran outside from the house, with Lightning on Silverstream’s back.
“What’s going on?” Asked Silverstream, “We heard shouting and gasping.”
Oliver had finish breathing as he looked at his aunt. “Aunt Twilight, I did manage to find what was making Sombra stronger and powerful. But it isn’t something we need to destroy. It’s something we need to save. Somepony even.”
Everycreature was now confuse on what Oliver just said.
“Somepony?” Applejack asked.
“You mean Sombra has somepony inside of him so he can use their magic to make him powerful and stronger?” Asked Sunset earning a nod from Oliver.
“Who?” Star Swirl asked, “Who does he have inside of him?”
Oliver took a deep breath before answering, “Princess... Amore.”
“PRINCESS AMORE?!?!”
Everycreature was now in shock after hearing what he just said.
“You mean to say that nightmare pony has the first ruler of Crystal Empire inside of him, as his power core?!” Rarity said.
Oliver answered with a simple nod for a yes.
“But why is she in there? And how did this happen?” Asked Starlight who was still in shock.
“She casted a spell on one of his darknesses a long time ago so she can keep him from returning when he got destroyed one day,” explained Oliver, “But, when he got released, he chained up Amore in his darkness and used her power and magic to make him stronger. And the longer she stays in there, the stronger he gets.”
“We’ve got to save her!” Exclaimed Pinkie Pie.
“But how?” Lightning Twister asked, “If we just go into his darkness and try to free her, he’ll have us captured before he even knows we’ve entered his darkness.”
“Lightning’s right,” Sunset said, “We need to find another way to save Amore and defeat Sombra.”
Suddenly, they heard what sounds like a glass break but also heard something collapse to the ground.
“What was that?!” Asked Gallus.
“It sounded like it came from the cave the Tree of Harmony is,” answered Twilight until she let out a gasp of shock, “Oh, no!”
Twilight ran towards the cave where the Tree of Harmony is, with the others following her.
When they got to the cave, they were all in deep shock to what it is they’re seeing inside the cave. On the ground was broken pieces of the Tree of Harmony, with crystal tree trunks broken in two and the element pieces all shattered in four pieces.
“Oh, no,” said Twilight in a panic tone as she levitated the two kindness element pieces and tried to put them back together, but it was any good. “No, no, no, no no no no!”
“The tree! It’s gone!” Yona said in shock.
“Now what?!” Rainbow asked, “Without the elements, we can’t defeat Sombra or any other threats!”
“Now defeating Sombra is gonna be more harder than I thought it would be,” said Sunset.
Just then, a dark and scary voice was heard.
“Oh that is so correct, my dear.”
Everycreature looked around, trying to find that voice. Until a big dark cloud circled around them as it got bigger, and suddenly, an evil pony head raised from the cloud.
King Sombra grinned evilly at the group below him as the mane eight, Spike, Oliver, Capper, Constantine, the pillars and the Young Six glared at him, but Lightning began to shake in fear as he then got off Silverstream’s back, ran underneath her and hid behind her legs.
Sombra’s head went back into the dark cloud as he then walked out of the cloud in his pony form with silver hoof shoes, silver neck wear and red King cape. The mane eight, Spike, Oliver, Constantine and the pillars stayed glaring at him as they stood like they’re ready to attack him.
“Now now, is that any way to treat your king?” He asked with an evil grin.
“You’re far from being a king in Equestria,” Twilight said angrily as she walked a bit, “And you’re no king here, or a king of the Crystal Empire anymore.”
“Oh yeah that’s right,” said Sombra, “I’ve seem to have notice that the Crystal Empire has a new ruler. And, of course, a son who has magic I’ve never seen before.”
Oliver let out an angry growl.
“You will leave Twilight’s nephew out of this!” Star Swirl said, “He has nothing that you want or to do with you!”
“Oh I believe he does have something that I want.” Sombra’s grin grew even bigger, “In fact, he IS what I want.”
“You will not lay a hoof on Oliver Sparkle!” Shouted Rockhoof grabbing his shovel, “Not one bit!”
“STAY OUT OF THIS!” Sombra’s horn glowed purple darkness grasp as a big circle of fire summoned around him and Oliver leaving the mane eight, Spike, Constantine, the pillars and the Young Seven outside the circle.
“Uncle Oliver!” Lightning shouted in fear as he ran towards them but was grabbed by Smolder.
Oliver looked around to see if there was a way of the circle, but no luck as he then saw Sombra walking towards him with an evil grin.
“Now that they’re out of the way. Let’s get down to business.”
Oliver glared at Sombra once more as he prepared to attack. “What do you want from me?”
Sombra stopped near Oliver as he placed a hoof under his chin. “From you? Nothing. From me. My offer.”
“What offer?”
“I know what your life has been like before you got adopted. I know what they did to you. I know they made fun of your appearance. But, I can make that all disappear.”
“What?”
Sombra placed his face towards Oliver’s face as he moved his hoof away from his chin.
“Join me, Oliver Sparkle. And I can give you everything that you could ever want, and you can get revenge on those two ponies that almost ruined your life. And together, we can rule the entire Equestria.”
Oliver, however, wasn’t pleased to his offer as he then said,
“You think I want revenge on those abusers? I already gotten what I want, a family, friends, and now a nephew. I never wanted revenge, even if I planned to get revenge on those two when I’m older like my father. They’ve gotten what they deserve anyway. So whatever you’re trying to offer me, I don’t want it!”
Sombra’s face grew a frown look on it as he moved away from him.
“So be it, future captain. If you will not join me....” his horn glowed as he was ready to kill him, “Then you shall die!”
“Over my dead body!”
Sombra’s horn stopped glowed as he and Oliver turned to see that John has made it into the circle and was running angrily towards Sombra as he then punched him in the face twice making him fly backwards.
John then kicked him in the face which made him walk backwards and away from them.
Oliver then saw Princess Amore struggling and trying to get out of the dark cloud while the dark chains tried to pull her back in.
“Amore!” He shouted as he spread his wings out and flew out of the circle towards the cloud.
“Oliver, wait!” Called Twilight.
Oliver flew towards Amore as his horn began to glow dark ink grasp, wrapped around Amore’s hooves and began to pull her out of the cloud, until Sombra saw what he was doing.
“NO!!” He shouted before flying towards them on his dark cloud.
Once he was near them, he wrapped a dark purple darkness grasp around Oliver’s backhooves as he then tried to pull him away while he continues to pull Amore out of his darkness. But the darkness grasp around Oliver’s backhooves were causing pain on them making Oliver moan and groan in pain as tears of pain rolled down his face.
Amore was moaning and groaning in pain as well while was trying to free herself with the help of Oliver. Just then, one of the darkness chains snapped freeing Amore’s right hoof as Oliver then gasped and an loud dark echo appeared in Sombra’s ear causing him to let go of Oliver’s backhooves from his grasp and placed his two hooves on his head as he yelled in pain.
“No! NO NO!!”
The others below saw what was going on.
“Look!” Gallus shouted as he pointed towards Oliver and Amore, “One of the chains snapped! Amore is almost free! I hope.”
Oliver continued to pull Amore out of the darkness cloud while also trying to break the last chain on her, until Sombra got onto Oliver, wrapped his hooves around his neck and tried to pull him away while choking him.
“Get! Off! Me!” Oliver shouted while still being choked.
“No! Amore is mine!”
“I, disagree.”
Oliver’s horn began to glow as he slowly and gently began to break the last darkness chain to free Amore.
“Don’t! You’ll kill all three of us!” Sombra shouted.
“No,” Oliver replied while sweating, “This, will only kill... you.”
With a mighty pull, Oliver managed to break the last darkness chain as another echo appeared in Sombra causing him to let go of Oliver and scream in more pain as his body began to crack and the darkness cloud began to go chaotic as it twisted and turned as a bright light appeared from it and in the cracks on Sombra’s body.
“Not again!” Shouted Sombra in pain.
The bright light from both the darkness cloud and Sombra’s cracks got brighter and brighter as it made Sombra’s body break again as a big explosion appeared from it making everything on the ground blow away as everycreature covered themselves from the wind and trying not to get blown away until it had finally stopped.
They all then uncovered themselves as they looked around and saw that Oliver and Amore were no where to be seen.
“Oliver? Amore? Where are you?!” Twilight called out to them in a worried tone.
“Uncle Oliver!” Lightning called out.
But unfortunately, he wasn’t around, or turned up, neither did Amore after she was freed. After a few seconds of silence, Lightning began to sob as his uncle was gone. Fluttershy came up to him and hugged him in comfort as the others began to cry as well, while Constantine looked down to the ground in sadness.
“This is all my fault,” Star Swirl said in sadness as he looked at Twilight who was looking down with her eyes closed as tears began to roll down her face.
Her crying didn’t last long, as she then heard footsteps slowly walking from the distance.
The others heard footsteps too, except for Lightning who was still crying a bit in Fluttershy’s chest, as they stopped sobbing and looked forwards as Twilight did the same. Constantine was the last to notice as he stopped being upset.
Coming out of the small smoke distance, was Ink Bendy carrying Oliver in his arms with Amore walking next to him. Twilight walked towards them as they then stopped near each other.
Ink Bendy gently placed Oliver on the ground as Twilight placed her hoof on his chest to see if he was passed out but his heart was still beating. After a few seconds, she felt a heart beat in his chest which made her smile as she was relieved that her nephew was still alive.
She then looked at Ink Bendy as he looked at her too before saying, “Take, good, care, of, him.”
Twilight nodded in understood as Ink Bendy slowly melted onto the ground while the melted ink flowed into Oliver.
With all the Ink was gone, Oliver slowly opened his eyes before slowly getting onto his hooves and rubbed his forehead as he then looked at Twilight.
“Aunt, Twilight?” He let out a smile to her.
Twilight let out a gasp of happiness. “Oliver!”
The two formed an aunt and nephew hug before the others went up to them as Lightning Twister stopped crying and saw that his uncle was okay.
“Uncle Oliver!” He shouted before jumping out of Fluttershy’s hooves, running up to Oliver and hugged him as he hugged him back. “I thought you were gone with Sombra.”
Oliver smiled at his nephew before saying, “It’s alright, Lightning. He’s gone now, and I’m still here.”
“And I’m just glad that you’re still alive mate,” Constantine added.
They all then turned towards Amore who was smiling at them.
“So it looks like you’re back from being gone then after all that,” said Capper.
“Yep,” answered Amore, “Now that I’m no longer imprisoned by Sombra and he’s now gone for good, I’m free to live in Equestria again. I have you to thank, Oliver Sparkle. You helped me out of Sombra’s darkness and defeated him no matter how much he tried to stop you. You must be very proud of your nephew, Twilight.”
Twilight smiled at Amore before saying, “Yes. Yes I am.”
Sandbar suddenly saw something in front of them. He gasped before pointing forward while saying, “Look!”
Everyone looked at what Sandbar was pointing and gasped in amaze to what was now in front of them.
In front of them was a big crystal made tree type building with a staircase, two balconies and crystal purple and pink leaves on the branches. The broken pieces of the Tree of Harmony transformed into the Treehouse of Harmony.
“Wow!” The Young Seven said in unison and amazed.
“The broken tree transformed into a new tree, but as a treehouse,” said Gallus.
“Looks like our worries about the Tree of Harmony are no longer needed now that we have the treehouse,” said Twilight happily.
“Eeyep,” agreed Applejack.
Star Swirl walked up to Amore as he then said, “Ahem. So uh, about the whole, ignoring that warning on the chest while back?”
Amore looked at Star Swirl before letting out a giggle and said, “I think we should discuss that on the way to the Crystal Empire. I wanna see the new ruler and also see if the place has changed a bit while I was gone.”
At the Crystal Empire, everycreature including Capper, Vincent and Constantine were in the throne room with Amore as she was tickling Flurry Heart with her hoof making her laugh. Everycreature was watching and finding it cute.
“Who’s a cute little future princess? Who’s a cute princess?” Cooed Amore while still tickling Flurry Heart as she was still laughing, “You are. You are.”
She then stopped tickling her and started blowing raspberries on her tummy making her laugh even more. Meanwhile, Oliver was talking to his parents about what has happened today and how Amore came back.
“And you continued to free Amore while Sombra was trying to stop you no matter how much pain he brought onto you?” Cadence asked.
Oliver nodded before answering, “Yep. Continued on, without letting go of her or letting Sombra’s painful attack stop me.”
Shining started to ruffle his mane in proudness. “We’re proud of you, son.” Cadence then gave him a proud hug as he hugged him back.
After a few seconds, the two broke the hug before they went over to Amore who had finally let Flurry Heart breath from laughing so much as she then flew to her brother.
“Guess it seems everything here is still the same when I was gone,” said Amore, “Apart from the crystal heart which is back in its place, a statue of Spike who saved the crystal empire twice and a first alicorn baby whose the future princess of this palace.”
Flurry Heart giggled while she was on Oliver’s back as his brother and parents smiled at her.
Amore then turned to Spike as she smiled at him. “Guess I own you two thank yous for saving the Crystal Empire twice, Spike. You’re the bravest baby dragon I’ve ever met.”
Spike blushed before Smolder nudged him on the arm with her elbow while grinning.
“Well,” began Constantine, “I might as well take you back to Klugetown now, Capper.”
Capper just nodded before saying, “Yeah, might as well. I’ve got some things to do at my apartment anyway.” He then looked at Lightning. “It was nice seeing you, Lightning. Hope to see you again one day. Goodbye.”
“Goodbye, Papa Capper.”
This made everypony, Constantine, Vincent and Spike, except for the Young Seven, shock and confuse after hearing what Lightning just said as they looked at Capper and all said, “Papa Capper?!”
Capper playfully shrugged.
“What can I say? The little guy needs a new and better father figure in his life, and I volunteer to be that father figure.”
They all thought that was really cute of him to do as some of them let out an “awww!”.
Constantine giggled before saying, “Alright, father cat. Let’s get you home.” He then walked out of the throne room with Capper following as he turned and waved goodbye to his friends as they waved goodbye to him back.
As they were nearly at Constantine’s house, Capper stopped for a bit while Constantine continued on as he turned round to look at the castle for a few seconds before saying, “I will be with you always, Lightning Twister. Always.”
He then walked inside the house as it disappeared into thin air taking Capper back to Klugetown.
