It’s just like any other day; you are at your computer going through the various virtual activities that it offers you. And being the avid brony that you are, you find yourself perusing different ends of the interwebs and are indulging in the many fan-fictions, ask-blogs, and other MLP:FiM related forms of entertainment.
After quite the long while of reading many short fan-fics you decide to take a visit to Equestria Daily and see if there has been anything interesting added to the ever growing mass of fan-created media surrounding this adorable cartoon show. You nearly exhaust the list of updates – nothing worth noting – until you reach the last entry. It would seem that a new site has been created in dedication to the show, featuring something that has never before been seen by the brony community. The site is running all the episodes of the first two seasons, but with something you find very promising in concept; the episodes are available in 3D.
Being very interested, you pull your 3D glasses out of your desk drawer and click on the link to the site. The design for the site isn’t all that impressive… Nothing you haven’t seen before within the variety of MLP dedicated sites. But you do find that the episodes are available just as promised. So you click on the link to the first episode and put on your 3D glasses.
After a couple minutes of watching the episode, you start to wonder if the claims of 3D effects were bogus. That is until you find yourself blown away as Pinkie Pie flies out of your computer screen and into your face. You fall backwards out of your chair, face twisted in shock. After a few second, you burst into laughter while straightening yourself out and sitting back in front of your desk. After readjusting the video back a few seconds you resume watching it.
By the end of the first episode, you have already fallen out of your chair a few times; why is it so hard to prepare yourself for it when you know it’s coming you wonder. After a few seconds of pondering you decide to give up and move on to the second episode because watching the first episode with 3D effects was really exciting and can’t wait for more.
The various action scenes during the second episode with the 3D had you very much enticed into it and you have already managed to keep your cool enough to not fall out of your chair anymore. After all the action from the second episode you are more than willing to proceed and continue watching more episodes.
You spend a while still thoroughly entertained by the episodes and the 3D scenes that popped up throughout each episode. Your reactions have dulled quite a lot; no longer showing a physical reaction to the various moments where something pops out of your screen, you instead take them head-on into your brain. You are now reaching further along the track of yet another episode and you are at a scene where a certain timid mare named Fluttershy is trotting backwards. Then something strange happens and the camera angle switches, which is something that didn’t happen in your previous times watching the show.
As you watch - only vaguely entertaining the fact that something is different – you suddenly take in the shock of your life. Fluttershy’s plot is now taken by the effects of 3D and she appears to be standing on top of your desk. And while that alone was a shock you are thrown through a loop when you see that her – admittedly very alluring – marehood is very visible and not very far from your face.
It takes you a moment to compose yourself and simply chop it up to being a rather perverted change to the original animation of the episode. However, you find yourself very curious about this situation and decide to get a few giggles by interacting with this optical illusion. A few giggles are not what you receive when you make your move to brush a finger against Fluttershy’s folds. What you receive is actually very different; a sharp, squeak-like, very feminine gasp is heard through your headphones.
