Spike and Trixie find a crater and end's up being sucked up into an monumental journey in Space, with 5 really cool guys.
when Spike and Trixie go to investigate a crater they find Jiece of the Ginyu force, after a series of events Jiece 'invites' them to join the force, on acount of how unique their species are compared to the rest of the universe, and with that, the two go on a journey of a lifetime,
I will be using Spike and Trixie as a means to change the Dragon ball history...just ever so slightly towards my liking, The First Chapter takes place before Season 7
It was late at night, The town of Ponyville was dark and silent, with the exception of the castle, on its bottom-most floor one light could be seen in the night, Spike and Trixie were in the library looking through the shelves for the books Twilight was attempting to read all the books in the Castel that she hadn't actually read yet, Spike was placing a Card with a black dot on it in all the covers of the books she had already read and was placing any she hadn't already read onto a cart with Trixie helping him as a favor to Starlight when it happened, Spike was sitting at a desk facing a window while looking over an assortment of book with Trixie doing her best to not fall asleep from sheer boredom when the light flashed in the sky, Spike gave it a partial side glace and shrugged it off as a shooting star, until it started getting bigger and brighter, the two looked out the window in silence as the ball of light shook the earth as it impaled itself into the castle lawn, with both Twilight and Starlight out on a Friendship quest Spike got up and investigated it himself, with Trixie joining him in hope it would be more intresting than putting cards in books. The two casually walked out the front door of the castle and took the short walk to the hole where a large circular object was sitting in the crater, they barely had time to look the object over when it opened in front of them, Spike jumped back and knocked over Trixie as Red Man with White hair pulled himself out of the Object.
"Damit all Guldo." He said as he pressed a button on the device residing on his face "Hey Dumbass, your fancy flying knocked me into some Random Plantes Gravitational-" The Creature looked over at the tiny Dragon and the Antrhopormorphic Unicorn that was almost as tall as he was staring at him in silence. "-Hold on, I'll chew your ass out later, just return to the main ship and wait for me." He said as he got all the way out and looked down at the duo. He Held up a hand and waved at them "Speak?"
"Indeed I do." Spike replied The Man nodded before introducing himself "I am Jeice, of the Ginyu Force!" the duo watched in silence as the Jeice pulled a pose before continuing "I'm sure you've heard of me, or at least about the Force." Spike shook his head
"Not once ever," the duo said simply Jeice froze up for a second before pointing to himself
"The Ginyu Force, Made of the 5 strongest and most elite members of Lord Frieza army?"
"What's a Frieza?," Trixie asked, Jeice frowned at them before looking up at the night sky and looking at the stars in the sky for a while, pointing them out in silence before snapping. "Ah! This planet hasn't been concerned yet." Jeice nodded before leaning down to Spike "So tell me small Lizardman-"
"Dragon," Spike said dully pointing to himself, Jeice blinked
"Like in the fairy tales?" Jeice asked with a chuckle, Spike turned his head to the side and pointed at his head as he let out a swirling torrent of Green Fire. Jeice watched in silence until Spike stopped and nodded
"Dragon," he said simply. Jeice started down at him in silence.
"Wow," he said after a moment before turning to Trixie "And you are?"
"I'm a Unicorn," She replied as she lit her horn and levitated a few nearby rocks, Jeice looked at the two in shock before he reached out and grabbed Spike by his tail, "Hey!" Spike complained as Jeice gave him a once over and nodded.
"Alright, you, my mythical friends are coming with me."
"Like hell -" Trixie stared as she lit her horn to pull Spike from Jeice's grasp before Jeice added.
"Yes I said the same thing when I first met the Captain, so I'll give you the same deal I was given, you come with me and this planet will be added to 5 others as Illegal to enter without Permission from its repetitive Ginyu Force member, so long as you pass the required entry exam, should you refuse you planet will be marked as our next target and we will either take it over and make you and all the rest of the inhabitants of this planet apart of the Frieza force empire, or we'll blow it up from orbit and go about our day, So what say you? Come with me willingly? Or bring your entire planet down with you?" Spike and Trixie frowned at Jeice for a moment before looking at each other.
"Well, when you say it like that-" Spike said as he moved his hands like a scale.
"-we don't really have much of a choice do we?" Trixie finished as Spike went limp in Jeice's grip and was taken into the Pod. Trixie Got in and after some re-adjustments, Spike was placed on Jeice's lap and Trixie was cramped in the side as the door closed
"Oh and brace yourself, first-time Space Travel's kind of a bitch." Jeice pressed a few buttons as he set their destination, then in a blast, the trio set off on their way.
Spike's first inference on Space travel was that it made him feel like he'd left his stomach behind, Trixie felt more like she was going to throw her stomach up as they blasted through the clouds, They got a brief glimpse of Cloudsdale before they speed up and in a blink, Spike saw nothing in front of them but the stars. The Moon off to their side was getting large as the moved When what at first looked like a small shape, but what rapidly became a much bigger item in front of them. It was a Large Circular Ship from What the two could see as the flew into an open hanger. As soon as they stopped Spike felt like he'd just been hit with a sack of bricks and Trixie's world was spinning. Jeice easily threw both Spike and Trixie over his shoulder again before exiting his pod.
"Hey Guldo!" he shouted, Guldo let out an irritated sigh as he turned to him.
"It was an accident! you just flew out in front of me!" Jeice walked over to him for a silent moment.
"I don't care anymore, just be thankful that you stunt lead me to an interesting find."
"What kind of Interesting?" a voice echoed out in interest, the four looked over as Burter walked over to them "The Delicious kind or the fun kind?" Jeice threw the duo from over his shoulder and let them splat onto the floor with swirling eyes.
"The Fun Kind," Jeice said simply as his fellow Ginyu force members stared at the two odd creatures in confusion before Jeice picked his foot up and stomped on the Spade on Spike's tail, immediately Spike let out an ear-splitting scream, accompanied by an Extra Large Torrent of Fire from his mouth. Guldo and Burter let out their own personal noise of interest as Spike jumped up and shook his small fist at Jeice.
"That hurts you know!" He snapped at the Red Magma before Guldo tapped the Dragon over the head.
"Kind of Small isn't he?" he asked, Spike looked over at Gludo and snapped back.
"Your one to talk, your forehead barely reached the top of my Spines!"
"Oh, you wanna go!" Guldo Asked, as this exchange stated Trixie got to her hooves and Burter looked her over.
"Nice," he said to Jeice who pointed to Trixie's horn.
"It's a Unicorn," Burter looked at Trixie's horn and poked it, Trixie put a barrier around herself and the Blue Blur smiled. "Oh, that's a useful skill," Trixie dropped her Barrier and Jeice took her hand before he Picked Spike back up and away from his argument with Guldo, this time like he was a baby.
"Fight later, these guys are gonna need some serious screening before they can enter the Ginyu Training Program. Jeice pointed out to the Planet that was only just in view. "Burter please send out a notice forbidding invasions on that Planet until further notice."
"Alright, but your coming with me!" he added to Guldo who muttered irritably as he followed after Burter.
"Alright Small Dragon, Magic Horse Lady, Time to Introduce you To Captian Ginyu himself."
Trixie stood in silence as she looked at the decimation surrounding her, homes destroyed and lively hoods ruined, to her utter relief the inhabitants of the planet they were attacking could almost all teleport, so they had yet to kill many of them, although she could see a few bodies of some who had attempted to fight the captain. She was wearing a set of Ginyu Force Armor with White on it, her bottoms were long black pants, and her shoes hid her hooves from the world.
"Trixie," a voice called to get her attention "You done?"
"Oh yeah," She said before pointing to the mountains "Their hiding their power levels but I can still sense their live forces hiding out up there,"
"Atta girl Trixie," Trixie saluted to the Purple creature floating above her, he had a large veiny head with horns.
"Thank you, Captain Ginyu," She declared without hesitation, she felt a little bad but after 10 years of massacring planets, she had become somewhat numb to it all. A Blue steak came rocketing at them and Burter came to a stop before them.
"Captain," He said.
"Report," Ginyu replied.
"Spike and Guldo were fighting again and a few Yardrats managed to get away, but they worked together and took them all out,"
"Let me guess," Ginyu said with a sigh "They were arguing about who's shorter again?" Burter just sighed in response.
"Anything on Recoome and Jeice?"
"If I had to guess..." The three looked over as the mountain that Trixie had pointed out earlier was destroyed with an energy blast.
"Oh, I left my Scouter on," Trixie said with a chuckle as she pressed the device covering one of her ears and its corresponding eye. "Jeice was that you?"
"Well Recoome and I were heading back and heard you mention the mountain, Figure we save you and the Captain a trip since we were passing by,"
"Your Welcome," Recoome added with a laugh, "And don't worry we got confirmed visuals before blowing it up,"
"Good job," Ginyu cheered "Burter, are Spike and Guldo on rout?"
"They're having a race," Burter replied with a laugh "WIth no powers, I told them that short people are slow, should help them build a little speed at least,"
"Good work," Ginyu gave Burter a thumbs up as Jeice and Recoome arrived "Tell me when they arrive, most of this planet's civilizations have been wiped out so now we just need to start hunting down the survivors," Ginyu flew into the air and made his way towards Recoome and Jeice while Trixie and Burter looked at one another in silence.
"Does Jeice still owe you that soda?" She asked with a chuckle.
"Oh not this again," Burter groaned "He's owed me that soda for like 3 months, at this point I'd say he owes me an entire 6 pack of soda,"
"You know I think he's the one who keeps swiping the Captains Ice Cream,"
"Recoome mentioned that the other day," Burter said with a gasp "We better tell him about it, if the Captain finds out he'll make Jeice do Pose ups," Trixie chuckled at the idea of Jeice having to fly in a circle while striking poses the Captain cried out at random,"
"Oh man, remember when Spike and Guldo had to do Pose ups last week," She asked with a laugh, making Burter laugh too.
"Oh man, they refused to stop until the other gave in, of course the Captain still thinks they were just trying to make up for letting that body he was after die, He was so inspired he ended up joining them after the 2nd hour," The two laughed at the memory of Guldo and Spike sky posing with the Captain for nearly a full day," The two stopped when they heard angry yells and saw both Spike and Guldo neck and neck trying to outpace on another. They had their foreheads pressed against each other and were insulting one another. Spike was wearing armor similar to Recoomes, with small flaps on the sides of the upper part and with shorts, his armor was black.
"You don't even reach Recoome's kneecaps," Guldo shot out.
"Neither do you," Spike retorted angrily. Burter put his hands out and snatch them both as they ran by, Guldo was flailing in his grasp while Spike began floating with his legs crossed.
"Alright, you two need some time apart, you don't wanna do pose-ups again do you?'
"Oh I don't mind," Spike said with a sly smile "After all, I did last 3 hours longer than Guldo, I only stopped when the Captain told me it was dinner time,"
"I just let you have that," Guldo said in defiance "After all you need a victory every now and again, otherwise what would be your use to the team,"
"Pose off," Spike snapped back. Burter dropped them and they both began pulling poses at one another. After a minute Trixie felt years of training with Ginyu pull at her.
"No," She said angrily 'Your poses are too sloppy,"
"She's right," Burter snapped "Guldo I expect better from you, you've been on this force four times longer than Spike, how is he doing better than you," Burter and Trixie began pulling poses, lecturing Guldo on the angle of his arms and how Spike should be incorporating his tail more. Guldo then began telling Trixie off about her hoof work, and Spike told Burter he was going too fast and not letting his pose settle for the full effect of it. Pretty soon they were all telling one another off on how they should be doing it.
Jeice and Recoome made their way to the rendezvous point, with Ginyu staying behind to do a quick search for survivors, and saw the pose off going on.
"I can't believe this," Recoome said with a groan as he landed "You're doing it all wrong," He landed and began posing "Spike, Guldo more gusto, Trixie more care, Burter you're always moving too fast," Jeice sighed and shook his head.
"Recoome your footwork is slightly off and your spin is too slow, Watch and learn from the Red Magma himself!" Jeice landed and began posing as well, after some re-arranging of their positions they all began posing differently on time with Jeice.
"Hold, Two, Three, Four, Formation 19! Hold, Two, Three, Four, Formation 37!" Ginyu made his way back after scouting for life and stopped as he saw his team all practicing their poses. Ginyu watched with pride at his team before landing.
"That's the spirit," He cried out, they were all startled but held their pose. "Ginyu Force, let's all do 30 pose-ups before scouting for the rest of the survivors!" They all stopped posing, stood up straight, and saluted him.
"Yes sir," They declared "Ginyu Force Pose up Formation!" Ginyu join his team and they began flying in a large circle, changing and holding their pose for each lap as Ginyu cried them out. However halfway through Ginyu froze in place, and the team all crashed to a halt, with Spike and Recoome both falling down.
"Sorry," Recoome said as he got up and Picked up Spike, who readjusted his armor slightly.
"Eh," Spike replied "If something like that hurt me I wouldn't be worthy to be a Ginyu force member.
"Yeah," Recoome cheered "Come on Spike let's spar, see if you've surpassed Guldo in strength yet,"
"Hey," Guldo complained "I'm here for my ability to freeze time not strength,"
"That is painfully obvious," Spike chuckled back.
"Captain?" Jeice asked, Ginyu held up his finger with a frown while he used to other to press his Scouter, listening to the voice talking to him with the utmost attention.
"I understand Lord Frieza," He said, making the entire team freeze.
"Ginyu Force, we're leaving effective immediately "Lord Frieza had just summoned us to Planet Namek, everyone to your Space Pods were leaving effective immediately,"
"Yes sir," They all declared before taking formation and taking flight.
"So," Spike said looking towards the captain "Lord Frieza himself has summoned us? must be serious I've only met him twice in person,"
"Seems Vegeta has gone rouge," Ginyu replied simply "and it would seem Dodoria has met his demise by his hands,"
"Ha," Trixie laughed "Good, that guy was a freaking creep,"
"Tell me about it," Recoome agreed, before slightly nudging Jeice and adding "Last time we were on Frieza's ship I found him eating out of our half of the fridge, stole my Brownies," Ginyu's eyes went wide.
"That son of a bitch, I bet he was the one who's been stealing my Ice Cream!"
"Wha...I mean of course," Jeice quickly jumped on the blame train, trying to hide his nervous tone "Who else could it have been, no one in the Ginyu force would ever steal from their teammates,"
"Jeice I owe you an apology," Ginyu noted "I was certain It was you," Spike groaned and the group looked at him as he added.
"Guess I owe Burder a Soda too, I was certain it was Jeice," As soon as Ginyu looked away everyone looked to Jeice and gave him a small salute. Jeice let out a sigh of relief as they landed at the location they had left their pods.
"Alright everyone, We'll be flying for one full day, after which we'll be making a short pit stop at the orbital station orbiting Frieza Planet 79 for a set of updated Scouters as per Lord Frieza's request, followed by 4 more straight days of flying, Alright GInyu's move out," They 7 Warriors all climbed into their Pods and blasted away from the planet. Trixie looked out from the window out the front of her pod and smiled at all the stars, she pressed a few buttons on her scouter before speaking aloud.
"It's always so beautiful," She muttered. "You know, back on my home planet my best friend was named Starlight, and seeing all these Stars around me makes me think of her every time," After a moment of Silence Spike switched his to a private channel and replied.
"What do you think Twilight's doing right now?" He asked "She's definitely given up on trying to find us by now,"
"I bet you a Soda she's gonna spend the rest of her life trying to find you,"
"Sure, why not," Spike sighed "Just have to hope Lord Frieza lets us visit someday,"
"Someday," Trixie replied as she looked out at the stars twinkling before her.
"...oh come on," Recoome complained "You can't be serious,"
"I am,' Guldo snapped back as the rest of the Ginyu force laughed at him "My home planet still to this day has my favorite cuisine. Trixie prefers her home planets food too,"
"Yeah," Jeice cut in "But Trixie's entire race is vegetarian, and not many others races are, so most planets have entire venues she can't partake in,"
"That said I think Banna had some of my favorite fruits," Trixie cut in.
"Oh, those super sweet Black cherries were to die for," Ginyu agreed.
"Honestly I don't think I have a favorite," Burter decided after some thought," seems kind of dangerous to grow attached to a planet when Lord Frieza might just blow it away if he feels like it,"
"True, "Spike and Jeice agreed.
"Long as it tastes good It's my favorite" Spike decided, before the Ginyu's could continue contemplating their favorite dish from the planets they have been to Spike spotted their first stop.
"Frieza planet 79 incomings," He said, ending the topic of food.
"Prepare for introductory poses," Ginyu commanded "formation Number 1!" The Pods shot into the landing pads and after a moment opened, the Ginyu Force all jumped out and struck their introductory poses, Calling out their names as they did so. The Force all stood in silence as a few lower-ranked Frieza Force members all stared at them in silence.
"Greeting," Ginyu said as he stood upright "I would like to speak to the commanding officer of this Orbital base, while I do so my team members would greatly appreciate some food and drinks.
"Yes Sir Captain Ginyu Sir," The troops all said in salute. "Right this way sir," The remaining Ginyu Force members all walked away from the landing site and made their way to the eating area since all Frieza bases had the same base design.
"So," Spike said as they walked down the hall in with the shortest upfront and the tallest in the back to keep the entire force visible from the front, "we gonna let Guldo get away with his comment on his own planet having the best food?"
"Oh shut up," Guldo snapped back "A Lizard that eats rocks has no place to judge me on my tastes,"
"Last I checked your planet has a delicacy that's literally a giant boiled Maggot,"
"It tastes delicious," Guldo defended "If you cowards would just try it,"
"Presentation matters," Jeice cut in "I don't care how tasty it might be, it's literally a giant swollen Maggot on a plate,"
"I'll have you know that Recoome is no coward," Recoome added "I tried it and I can say with confidence, wouldn't recommend it," The Members of the Ginyu force continued mocking Guldo for his tastes all the way to the cafeteria.
"So," Jeice said as he took a seat between Recoome and Burter "Think the captain will do it?"
"Not a chance," Guldo replied casually "Lord Frieza would see it coming a mile away and kill him before he could even finish saying it,"
"I keep telling the Captain," Spike said as he bit into a chunk of meat "If he really wants to...do that thing he's been planning to do, he has to wait till Lord Frieza is alone and asleep, although personally, I think he should go for King Cold, he may be a little up there in the years, but he and Lord Frieza have the same power level, and King Cold is known to be less than aware of his surroundings,"
"Shut up, talk about something else" Trixie suddenly hissed, Guldo suddenly started in the middle of an improvised sentence.
"...I may be short compared to the rest of you, but Spike is short in comparison to his own race,"
"Oh, you wanna go time boy?" Spike demanded "I may be short but I'm more than twice your sorry power level,"
"Big deal," Guldo shot at him "What was your unique power again? Or right, teleporting things within a hundred meters of your current location, how impressive,"
"I also breathe fire," Spike snapped back, smoking coming from his maw, as Spike and Guldo bickered a handful of Frieza force soldiers who had been the cause of Trixie demanding a change of subject arrived at the table.
"It's an honor to have you here with us," one of them said with a respectful bow "I am Sorbet, please should you need anything don't hesitate to ask for it,"
"We're good," Jeice replied waving him away "Just waiting for the Captain to get some replacement Scouters for Lord Frieza,"
"Of course," Sorbet said as he backed away "I understand you're all very busy, I'm so very sorry to disturb you," The Ginyu members watched as the interrupter left them be and went back to eating and bickering. After a moment Trixie leaned over and knocked Guldo and Spike's heads together. Burter meanwhile smacked Jeice on the back of the head
"Hey," They all snapped angrily.
"How about we don't publicly talk about the captain's mutiny plans?" Burter hissed irritably "especially when that public is a part of Lord Friezas army,"
"Jeice started it" Spike whined.
"You responded," Recoome countered.
"I can feel Guldos eye juice on my head," Spike declared in an attempt to derail the conversation.
"Well I had to feel your cold slimy scales against my eye," Guldo shot back.
"Who you calling slimy you four-eyed toad!?" Spike demanded as smoke began billowing from his open maw.
"Fall in line," Ginyu called out, all force members immediately snapped up straight in their seats and saluted as they called out as one.
"Deepest apologies Captain," The force quickly continued eating as Ginyu joined them at the table. "So, the old slimy scales fight hu? Who spoke up first?"
"It was me, sir," Jeice replied without delay "Ready for punishment, sir,"
"After this Mission Dinners on you," Ginyu informed Jeice curtly "Now eat up team, It's another 4 straight days of travel to Namek,"
"Understood Captain," The Ginyu's replied with gusto before chowing down, Spike and Burter getting into a speed eating contest while Recoome taste-tested a few meals that were labeled as vegetarian before passing them on to Trixie upon them passing the inspection of having no meat hidden in it," As the Ginyus enjoyed their feast Jeice entertained a few of the local soldiers as he drank as he told stories of some of the Ginyu's homelands.
"-and as time went on Buter slowly became faster and faster, as he would be met with a harsh beating should he ever be late for even the slightest, reason, of course, one day he did his chores so fast his parents beat him under suspicion of having cheated his chores by paying someone else to lend him aid, not to long after that his planet was invaded by The Captain, who destroyed one city before he and I noticed Buters blinding speed as he saved a few people from the wreckage and tried to get them to safety, took a few hours to catch him, but pretty soon we convinced him to join up in return for the protection of his home planet, I was only a young boy myself at the time mind you so-" Jeice laughed as he told the stories of his crew members and regaled them as heroes for willingly becoming monsters to save their friends and families.
Ginyu suddenly stood up after nearly an hour of partying and called out "Alright Team, our pods have been cleaned and fully stocked, T-Minues ten minutes before take-off, finish your stories, your meals, and move out. The Ginyus all saluted and Jeice wished his audience a good day, even trading one of the ladies his scouter for theirs as a kind of keepsake.
"Oh, She was cute," Spike chuckled as he and Burter smiled at Jeice "You gonna call her up after Namek?"
"Maybe," Jeice replied with a shrug "But that's in the future, for now, her you go bud," Jeice passed Burter a Large Soda, who took it happily.
"Look at that, paying debts," Burter chuckled as Spike in turn gave him an apple juice. "That's not a soda," Burter noted.
"And we never really made a bet, be happy I gave you anything," Spike shot back as they made their way to their pods.
"Guldo," Trixie called out as she picked the little green man up "You got something on your face, hold still a second it's about to drip into one of your eyes," Trixie wiped her teammate's face who patted his forehead.
"Did I get it?" he asked before Recoome appeared with a wet napkin and dapped the spot
"There you go bud," Recoome tossed the towel aside "Don't forget your drinks, the water in the pods always tastes funky after the third day,"
"Oh, shoot," Guldo froze time and after a moment returned with drinks for the group. "Cheers,"
"Oh, Cherry," Trixie smile "Thank you Guldo," The trio returned to the Pods, where Spike and Jeice were helping Burter load up his soda into a panel built into the side to store cold drinks.
"Remember," Ginyu called out "Any Soda or snack is not to be eaten until the end of the thrid day, we all remember that week Burter forgot to top his cup,"
"Lucky I didn't mute him," Jeice muttered.
"I did mute him," Spike added before adding in a mocking tone "Oh, can't we just stop at base 108? It's only half an hour away from here, I'll make it quick," Spike shook his head "Learn to navigate man that base was 4 days out,"
"I made a small mistake," Burter snapped back.
"More like you rushed off needlessly," Trixie chuckled back as she loaded into her pod, Burter muttered as he loaded in and Ginyu spoke over coms "Everyone stocked up?"
