Snow, an anthro wolf from an alternate universe, finds himself lost in the world of Equestria, alongside of still dealing with his new body, and the ever present dangers that came with him.

Snowhead Blitz is an anthropomorphic wolf who fell through a portal in his home universe Arvaelie, to the universe where Equestria resides. Falling into that world, Snow is transformed from an anthro wolf, into a pony who has to get used to his new form, while trying to fend off the dangers that followed him. Along the way, he runs into the Main 6, and together they battle for the sake of Equestria!

Snowhead Blitz is a rather lean anthropomorphic wolf, with black, shoulder-length hair, tipped green, and covering his left eye. His fur a light gray, and his snout a fluffy cotton white, he covers the most of it with a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of brown leather boots. On his back a sheath, which usually holds a longsword, but not right now. Right now, Snow is facing one of his most dangerous enemies yet; his copy.

"I'll end this fight once and for all, you lazy rip-off!" Snow yelled as he lunged at himself. The copy opened a portal in front of him right as Snow was about to strike him, and Snow, being carried by his momentum, fell into it, and couldn't stop himself as he transformed. His paws grew flat, as well as his hind legs, and along with that, his posture changed, as he stood on all fours now. His clothes falling away, his boots were the only thing to remain, as they somehow changed with his hind legs. His snout became shorter, his eyes became bigger and more rounded, and he grew a pair of wings. He was done transforming, and as such, the portal dropped him into an unknown land. "Ugh... my head..." he said, passing out there and then, in the middle of a field, next to a pond.

"Hey, you alright?" a female's voice said, and as she spoke, Snow barely moved, but he did move.

"Rainbow, I don't think this is the right time to ask questions," a second said, seeming semi-annoyed at the first.

"What, it's just a question," the first replied, looking at the second, and quickly looked back noticing Snow's movements.

"Agh... my head... Huh?" Snow rolled over and noticed the two voices who were now looking surprised at his movements. "Huh? Who are you two, and why are you on all fours?"

"I'm Twilight Sparkle. And as for the second question, we're supposed to."

"And I'm Rainbow Dash. Just call me Rainbow."

"Huh...? Wait, Ms. Sparkle, what do you mean you're supposed to-" he points at Twilight and does a double-take as he notices his 'paw.' "Is that a hoof...?"

"Uh... yes?" Twilight spoke, wondering if the unknown pony was insane.

"Wait, am I...?" Snow said as he struggled to get up so he could look himself over, and as he did, he noticed his wings. "AH!!!" Snow freaked out, frantically flailing his hooves in front of him and flapping his wings so quickly he did a backflip, subsequently landing on his face.

"Twilight, I don't think he's alright-" she said, being cut off by Snow.

"No, I'm fine up there. I've just gotta get used to a new body..." he stated, ripping his head from the ground and wobbling as he stood up fully again.

"A new body?! What in Celestia's name do you mean?" Twilight said, surprised and slightly shaken from his words.

"Nothing... I'll explain what I'm on about if you can provide some sort of 'home' for me while I figure this new body out...?"

"Sure thing! So long as you can figure out how to fly!" Rainbow said, smirking.

"Ms. Sparkle, do you have to deal with this arrogance all the time?" Snow said, raising his uncovered eyebrow.

"Hey!" Rainbow exclaimed, slightly offended.

"Not all the time," Twilight said, "and you can just call me Twilight."

"Alright, Twilight," Snow said. "Pardon it, it was a formal thing from where I come from to call a lady by her last name."

"Ah, alright," Twilight said, muttering something to herself about him being formal, and Snow's ear flickers.

"As for you, Ms. Da-"

"Hey, just call me Rainbow," Rainbow said, for the second time.

"Alright, Rainbow, sorry for calling you arrogant before," Snow said, reaching out towards the rainbow-maned pony. "We better...?"

"Yeah," Rainbow said, bumping Snow's hoof with her own, "And not to bother ya, but what's your name?" she asked, curious.

"Oh, right, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Snowhead Blitz. But you may just call me Snow." Snow said, smiling and bowing his head, taking his left hoof and putting it over his right, and in doing so falls over. "Ah!"

"Pfft-!" Rainbow holds in her laughter.

"Look, maybe you should focus on learning to move and all the basic functions here," Twilight says, putting out her hoof to help him up.

"Sure. Thanks," Snow grabs her hoof and stands up. He stares at her, contemplating why she is so friendly.

"Uhhh, Snow?" Twilight waved her hoof in front of Snow, and Snow jumps a little.

"Ah, sorry... I got lost in thought." Snow said, completely embarrassed, and he hangs his head down and off to the side.

"Aww, look, the new one's got a crush!" Rainbow said, teasing him.

"Ah-!!! I-It's not like that at all!!" Snow said, even more embarrassed.

"Suuure it isn't."

"I'm serious!!!"

"Fine, fine."

"Look," Twilight butted in, "Let's go to my castle, and we can let you stay there. Alright?"

"Sure! I'd love to have a look around a castle! ... That sounded a lot less annoying in my head," Snow sighed, and looked as Twilight chuckled.

"It's alright. We're all our own worst critic," Twilight smiled, "Come on, it's going to get dark soon, and we're pretty far out."

"Alright," Snow and Rainbow say at the same time. The three walk to Twilight's castle, as it slowly turns to night. When they reach it, Snow looks in awe and walks in with the other two.

"I'm heading for the hay. Later," Rainbow says, prancing to her room.

"See you!" Snow says, and he looks to Twilight. "So, where can I go...?" He asks, worriedly.

"So long as it's not another pony's room, you can choose," Twilight says, cautiously.

"Is there a library?" Snow asks, politely.

"Yeah, down the hall and the fifth on your right. But why would you want to sleep in a library?" Twilight asks.

"Not to sleep, to learn. Everything," Snow replies, wide-eyed.

"But don't you need sleep?" Twilight asks, confused.

"Twilight, to be truly honest, I've gone a week without sleep and been perfectly fine. I'm pretty sure I can skip one night," Snow says, smugly.

"Alright, well, just be sure you're ready for tomorrow because you're going to be explaining everything," Twilight replies, "Good night, Snow."

"Night, Twilight," Snow responds and walks toward the library. "Heh. They are really nice... it's a nice break from where I'm from, at least... I hope."

His Explanation

Snow walks into the throne room, wide-eyed. "I never knew a castle could be so confusing..."

"Oh you have no idea," A dull-pink pony said. Starlight glimmer and the Main 6 were sitting by the Cutie-Map waiting for Snow to enter and explain what happened.

"Really, darling, I don't think it's that hard, but you'll get the hang of it," Rarity said with a slightly cheerful tone.

"Sure. Anyhow, you wanted me to explain what happened, right?" Snow asked, bluntly.

"Yes," Twilight said, "So please, go ahead."

"Alright, we'll start off with what I am," Snow said, and his covered eye glowed very slightly crimson, as he threw an image of himself in his anthro form above the table, "This, is me. I am an anthropomorphic wolf from a universe known as Arvaelie," he said, as both the glow of his eye and the image disappeared, "As for how I got here, I was in a fight with a dark copy of myself, and fell victim to one of its many traps. As I went to strike it with my now missing weapon, it opened a portal in front of me, and me, being carried by my momentum, fell into it, causing myself to transform into what I am now," he stated, turning around completely.

"So what you're saying is that Y'all don't belong here, in the literal sense?" Applejack questioned him.

"Precisely."

"And how do you intend on getting back to where you belong?" Twilight asked. Snow looked down. "Wait, are you implying you don't know how to get back home?!" she stated, shocked.

"Eheh... sadly..." Snow said, hanging his head, "But!" he picks his head up, "That might actually be a good thing."

"How so, darling?" Rarity asked, looking quizzically at him.

"Just think about it; if they have the ability to get to and from here via a portal, then they could surely come to attack!" Snow gave his logic, but then quickly dismissed it with, "But, knowing what's happened here, it might not be the worst thing that's happened. But still," Snow tried to sound confident, but his voice was still slightly shaky.

"Have you tried-" Twilight gets cut off.

"Sadly, friendship doesn't work with your opposite," he stated, "Crying shame, I'll be honest."

"So there's no way to beat them?" Rainbow inquires.

"There is, but it's not a nice way to-" Snow's ear flickers. "Something isn't right," he says, backing toward the door.

"Hm? What's the matter?" Pinkie Pie finally speaks.

Snow runs out the door, and Rainbow picks something up from the table and follows after him. "Hey! Wait! What's going on?"

"I heard footsteps above at the upper levels." Snow said, running just in front of Rainbow.

"What? That can't be possible!" Rainbow exclaimed

"But it is. That thing you grabbed?" Snow said, "A communicator. I edited it's actual design so it's multi-universal. Basically, I can use it to talk to people who aren't in this universe, and vice versa." Snow explained quickly, as Rainbow strapped it onto her hoof. "Now, grab something, use your wing so you can run if necessary."

"Right!" Rainbow dashed into a closet and grabbed a broom with her wing, dashed out and quickly caught up to Snow.

"That's what you got? Alright. Now," Snow went quiet as they reached the top floor, "stay quiet. You don't want to die, do you?"

"Fair enough," Rainbow whispered.

"Follow my lead," Snow said, looking around. He quickly runs behind a small wall, and Rainbow follows suit.

"What's going on?" Rainbow asks.

"That," Snow points to a shadowy creature looking around, "Is a Polar Opposite. One of the three types of Deyin, and- wait, don't!" Snow whispers harshly as Rainbow charges the shadow figure, and it turns toward her and dodges her throw, pouncing onto her.

"Agh!!" Rainbow cries as the hoof she used to block the creatures bite gets bitten.

"I tried to tell you to stop!!" Snow yells as he picks up the broom and hits the shadow across the face with the pole end of it. Rainbow's hoof bleeding slightly, Snow takes charge and stands in front of her, his left wing outstretched in a blocking position. "I don't care how little hurt you may be now, but if you keep being so brash with your actions you're going to get hurt even worse," Snow said in a commanding tone, "alright? I don't want to see my friends hurt."

"I-... I understand." Rainbow says with a slight amount of tears, and as one hits the ground, Snow's ears flicker.

"I didn't mean to hurt you," Snow turns to Rainbow, "Just showing I care, however dumb it sounds. Now," Snow turns back toward the shadow and, "where'd it go?"

"It probably left out that window while you were monologuing." Rainbow points to an open window with her injured hoof. "Ah..." She sighs.

"Fair enough. It didn't see an opportunity, so it fled. Now, we should see the others and tend to your tiny injury, hm?" He smiles toward Rainbow, and she nods. The two of them fly quickly to the throne room and tell the others of what happened.

"And you're telling me that some sort of shadow pony got in through an upstairs window? Excuse me if I find that hard to believe." Twilight said with a subtle hint of both annoyance and confusion.

"It's the truth!" Snow said, "Cross my heart, hope to fly, curse my soul if I'm to lie."

"That's cutting it kinda close, Snow," Pinkie says sarcastically.

"I know, but I've been using that a while," Snow replies.

"So now I've got a question."

"Yeah...?"

"How do you know what these things are?"

"Deyin are able to be split into three groups where I'm from. Light, Dark, and Polar Opposites. Polar Opposites are the complete exact opposite of you, Dark Deyin are in charge of helping with personal, mental, and emotional matters, and Light Deyin are in charge of magical, elemental matters. Everyone has one of each."

"So, it's religious?"

"Not by a long shot."

"So, that thing that was up there," Rainbow inquires, "Was that a Polar Opposite of someone here?"

"Could've been. Or it could've been one from my universe," Snow answers, looking at Rainbow's bandaged hoof. "That feeling any better?"

"A little. Still stings a bit, haha," Rainbow laughs a little and smiles.

"Good. Not that it stings, but that it's healing," Snow looks to Twilight, "So, would you mind if I slept in that upper area? So nopony can get through there?"

"If you feel it necessary, then go ahead," Twilight says, concerned, "Just don't get hurt."

"Don't worry, I- hm? Yes, Ms. Shy?"

"Um... well... how did these things get here, if you don't mind me asking?" Fluttershy asked shyly.

"My best assumption is this universe collided with mine, thus allowing travel through portals. That's the best I've got for ya." Snow said, smiling, and quickly turned to Rarity hearing her sketching, "What'cha drawin'?" he asks, cautiously.

"Well, if you must know, I'm deciding whether to take my artistic vision and do this that way or make it true to form," Rarity says, her mind locked on what she's trying to do.

"Well, what's it for?" He asks, fearing the worst.

"Have a look, the one on the left is the artistic variation," Rarity says, floating the paper to him, Snow's eye glowing it to catch it within his own magical aura. The right one looks like his normal clothing, the only thing being that the jeans aren't pants, they're more like a skirt. He ignores it and looks to the artistic variation. The shirt has a collar, up to the halfway point for his neck, and the sleeves run down near the bottom of his hooves, and his boots are somewhat fancier, and while Snow appreciates the metallic detailing, he doesn't find it very useful.

"I like the variation better. It's a lot nicer looking, unlike what my opposites attract thing was," Snow smiles as he returns the paper. Pinkie gets a drum set from somewhere and drums out that familiar sound. "Really? That's more than even I'm willing to show off, Pinkie," Snow says, turning around.

"What do you mean?" Pinkie said sarcastically.

"We'll talk later, alright?" Snow replies. He looks to the rest of them. "I'm gonna walk off a while. Get a little more used to this place," Snow says, and Twilight stops him.

"One question, before you start walking around."

"Yeah?"

"How do you intend on protecting this place?"

The Crew's Beginnings

"Well, I intend on recruiting some of the best guards, defenders, and the such and like," Snow said, turning back toward the others, piercing their souls at his glance.

"Well, not to brag, but," Rainbow said, cocky as she sat up in her chair, "we've saved Equestria multiple times over!" she exclaimed, grinning.

"How, if I might ask?" Snow asked, smirking towards the living rainbow.

"Through the magic of friendship," Rainbow said, looking down as she realized what Snow was on about.

"Exactly. And what did I say earlier that proves that as an inaccurate way of defeat?" Snow said, cocky.

"That making friends with them is-"

"But what if there was a pony who's opposite is the good of the two?" Twilight asked, smiling shyly at her question.

"Actually, Twilight, you bring up a fair point. I guess that Polar Opposite would be able to be friendshipped into submission," Snow says, chuckling. "But on a serious note, what are you suggesting?" He says, curiously and slowly walking closer.

"Well, if we made friends with an enemies Polar Opposite, we could potentially-"

"Oh my god, that's genius! Twilight, what's one of you're enemies names?!" He asks without a second thought.

"That's a bit brash, wouldn't you say?" Twilight said, smugly grinning.

"Oh, haha, fuck that," Snow mumbled, but he picked up his voice and said, "Look, I know it is, but you've gotta trust in me that I've got a good plan for this."

"Which is...?" Twilight asked, cautiously eyeing the grey pony.

"I'll start with recruiting you six!" He said, his green eyes shimmering with a new light- or maybe he was just standing in the sun.

"Say what?" Applejack said, confused.

"Um..." Fluttershy wanted to say something, but she seemed to stop herself.

"Oh! That seems like fun!" Pinkie exclaimed, bouncing in her chair.

"Huh?!" Rainbow exclaimed, accidentally falling out of her chair in fear.

"I beg your pardon?" Rarity asked, eyes wide in amazement at his statement.

"What?!" Twilight asked, stunned.

"And I know just the two to ask first!"

"And those two would be...?"

"Rainbow and Starlight!"

"What!?" The two ponies yelled, looking at each other.

The First Two

View Online

"What?!" The two ponies yelled, looking at each other.

"Yup," Snow said, looking at the two. "I know that Starlight was matching a certain alicorn, who had been studying magic her whole life, while Starlight had not," Twilight groaned as the light grey stallion said that, but he continued, "And while Rainbow is brash in her actions, I feel comfortable having her on the team, knowing she is most likely to be the fastest in decision making, for better or worse."

Rainbow smiled, "Most likely? I'm the fastest you'll ever see!" she said beaming with her acknowledgment.

"See, writers?" Snow said, looking not at anypony in particular, but at a few certain people.

"More than your willing to show, hmmm...?" Pinkie said, looking at Snow with a slight case of bedroom eyes.

"Pinkie, this is no time to be marking my words," Snow said, smiling toward her, "But thanks for noticing."

"Yup."

"Now," Snow turned to the rest of the ponies, "Do you mind if I try to set something here...?" Snow asked, cautiously, as if worried they would say no.

"I don't mind, just don't break anything," Twilight said, slightly annoyed.

"I won't," Snow said, reassuring the purple alicorn of her safety, "It's just a little teleporter. While you could use a spell, that takes up magical power-"

"Mana?"

"Ehhh, kinda... we call it "charge," where I come from," Snow explains, and he continues about the thing he's setting up, "Now, while you could use a spell, that would waste mana, and that's very precious. See, when dealing with P.O.s, they see you in an Arvaelien light, which means-"

"That when fighting them, you only have a set amount of magic?" Starlight asks.

"Pre-Celestia-damned-cisely," Snow says, then mumbling, "that just doesn't sound right..." as he continues to work on the teleporter.

"So you're saying that I should come... why?"

"Because you being able to use powerful spells at a lower level means when you arrive at higher levels you'll perform even greater!" Snow says, beaming. Rainbow snickers in the background, struggling to keep herself in check. "Rainbow, have you something you want to share...?" Snow turns to her, his eyes glaring into hers as if piercing through them. Rainbow seemed to immediately stop, and snap into focus.

"Sorry."

"It's alright. Make the jokes if you wish, but let them lie until later."

"Alright."

"Now," Snow finishes the teleporter, and it whirrs to life, glowing lime green, and humming slightly. He turns toward the others, "I'm done. This," He holds up what looks like a lime green crystal, "Is what will allow us to come back to any teleporter I set up here."

"Ooh~!" Rarity looks intensely at the green crystal, "What gem is it?"

"It's not one from here, but it may be possible to make...? It's a gem called, 'Cristen.'"

"'Cristen...?"

"Like I said, not from here. Now," He turns to Rainbow Dash and Starlight Glimmer, "We should get going. It may be best to check the Everfree Forest, seeing how many things like to show up from there."

"You have a fair point," Starlight said, looking at him as if in thought.

"Good thinking!" Rainbow said, grinning.

"So, we're all in agreement?"

The other two ponies nodded, but Twilight gave a look of concern, hanging her head. "Just don't get them killed, alright?"

"I understand. You two, pack the things you know necessary and bring them. I've got what I need, and I'll wait for you outside." Snowhead said, trotting outside into the now purple sky of sunset. Sighing, he looks up. "I wish to have been more careful."

As he said that, the two other ponies trotted outside. "Ready?" They said in unison.

"Let's go," Snowhead said, trotting through the village toward the forest. The two other ponies followed behind him, talking softly in the twilight. When they arrived at the edge of the forest, Snowhead held up his hoof to silence their talk. "Hold. Something is listening," and Snowhead begins to sniff the air- "TURN!" Snowhead turned around and jumped at the now pouncing group of Polar Opposites, blocking one of the claws from sweeping through the air to strike them. Another Polar Opposite swiped at Starlight, and she cast a shield spell in front of her, and leaving her back exposed to another Polar Opposite, who bit her in the side, causing her to turn violently, using a burst of magical energy to push them all back, a few of them fading through the ground into mist. Rainbow and Snow were using more brutal tactics, flying through the air and kicking the shadow-like creatures.

After the few shadows were defeated, Snow looked into the sky. "Dragon of Water and Frost... protect us in our times of rest..." He closes his eyes, the other two ponies walking back to him. "You two set up camp. This'll be a few days." As Snow opened his eyes, a bubble shield made of water surrounded them.

"Alright." Starlight said, using a light spell to find sticks and small pieces of wood to use for a fire.

"What can I do?" Rainbow said, confused.

"There are a few sleeping bags in my little backpack"

"You mean this tiny thing?" Rainbow said, monotone, picking up a small, black satchel.

"Open it."

"Sure. There is totally enough space for three- huh?!" When rainbow opened the satchel, she could see a small void with an infinite amount of stuff inside. "Uhhhmmm... where are the sleeping bags?" Rainbow said, completely confused.

"Should be directly in front of ye."

"Ah, I see 'em." She scoffs at herself, taking out three different colored sleeping bags- one red, one blue, and one green.

"I'm back!" Starlight comefrom the woods, holding in her magic a load of stick of which she places in a pile.

"Cool," Snow says, ripping a piece of flint and a piece of steel from one of his boots, "I'll light it. It shouldn't burn too high, and if it does, the ice should cool everything off." he light's the fire, Starlight looking confused.

"Ice? This is water."

"You'll see when one of us falls asleep."

"Speak of," Rainbow says, slipping into the blue sleeping bag, "I'm gonna get to sleep. Good night."

"Night." Snow says, snuggling his way into the green one, huddling inside it.

As Rainbow falls asleep, Starlight notices the water freeze instantaneously.

"Whoa..." Starlight says in awe.

"Yeah. G'night you two," Snow says falling asleep.

"Yeah, goodnight." Starlight says, crawling into the red sleeping bag.

Rainbow and Starlight wake up and notice Snow's disappearance. "Where'd he go?" Rainbow said, confused.

"Rather," Starlight suggested, "something got through the shield and took him?" She said, pointing to a hole the size of a large pony in the ice-like barrier.

"His ask for protection didn't help too much, did it? We have to look for hi-" Rainbow said, a sense of urgency in her voice before being cut off.

"I'm fine," Snow said, walking back through the hole, with something new under his wing. "Just wanted to make sure you were trustworthy. I have a bad history with people back home."

"So you scare us?" Rainbow said, slightly agitated.

"He had good intentions," Starlight butted in, "so we shouldn't be too upset."

"I'm not. Just a little worried about-"

"Rainbow, if you couldn't trust me I would've brought a horde of those shadows when I came back. And don't tell me that this is an excuse, because you were in your most vulnerable state- asleep- which means if you couldn't trust me, we wouldn't be having this conversation," Snow says, with a slightly more than monotone voice, bouncing his eyes as he says 'having this conversation.'

"Eh-... you're right."

"I want to protect. Not harm. That is my duty as a guard of Arvaelie. And now, my duty as a part of a small team to save Equestria."

"Right."

"Speaking of teams, while I was looking for this," He shuffles his wing moving the new object around, "I thought up a little signal. I remembered the fact that Polar Opposite are shadow versions completely opposite someone, thus making me remember Polar Copies, which are basically higher level Polar Opposite that show up when someone 'fuses' with their Polar Opposite. They look and act exactly like you, with only a single thing off to differentiate. Some have a separate hair color, others have a weirdly colored eye-"

"The point?"

"We should call ourselves Team SRS."

"Our names, really?"

"Not only that. SRS- Serve, Restrain, Survive.:

"Not too bad, but uh... why?" Starlight asked

"If a polar copy takes our place, we say SRS. Starlight, you say 'Serve'. Rainbow, you say 'Restrain'. And I say 'Survive'."

"That's kinda like what we did when we went to Chrysalis'-"

"You mean big bad bug pony?"

"Yup."

"Alrighty, well," Snow said, trying to attach the package to his body, "we should get going. ...Hng, why is this being so difficult?!" So yelled, quite frustrated.

"Maybe it's because it's still tailored to your original body type?" Starlight suggested, quite frankly pleased with herself.

"Fair enough..." Snow messes with straps, his crimson glow fading on and off in certain places, almost like hands, holding stuff in place. After a while, he opens his left wing, revealing the package to be a sword and scabbard.

"Woah!" Rainbow said, in awe, "Is that a sword?"

"Made for, and by, myself," He says, drawing his sword to show off his work. It's a cobalt bladed longsword, with a golden hilt and pommel, and a hickory handle wrapped in leather. "It's my pride and joy."

"Cool!"

"Let's continue our search, hm?"

The two others nodded, following Snow as the barrier fell to water around them. A while passed, before they saw anything aside of the dark, wooden walls of the forest, and the leafy ceiling, letting in only trace amounts of light here and there. The darkness became deeper and deeper the further they went, eventually making Starlight ask Snow if there was any light in the bag, only for Snow to respond with his eye glowing. They kept walking, seemingly for hours, and eventually, it felt like they were walking in circles.

"Snow?" Rainbow said, her voice cutting clean through the near silence.

"Yes, Rainbow?"

"If you fell here, do you think anyone else could've fallen?"

"... I do not see it being an impossibility." Silence loomed over the group again, only a few minutes later hearing what seemed to be a weeping girl. Snow's ears perked up to the sound, and he began to walk in its direction, drawing his sword so that it was hidden beneath his wing, yet still useful if necessary. "Hello?" Only crying was heard, and Snow crept toward it, signaling the others to stay behind with his wings. "You alright there, little one?"

"... Snow," The voice came from a slightly shorter, lighter grey pony, showing neon blue hair and tail, curlier the further down you look. Her ears were larger, making her technically taller than Snow, but only by a small margin. "I-is that you?" She seemed... desperate, and depressed.

"Aye, it's me. How did you get here?" Snow instantly stopped in his tracks, voice becoming monotonous, as he drew his sword fully, sparing no amount of caution.

"I... I don't remember... I don't know what this place is, please, just... help me..." She continued to weep, letting the ground near her become wet, as she attempted picking herself up. Snow sheathed his weapon, walking over to help the poor girl up. "Huh...?"

"Stala, it's me." Snow said, solemnly.

"It can't be..." Stala said, a mixture of fear, sadness, and hope in her eyes.

"It is. And couldn't be anyone else. Well, aside from new friends. C'mon, we should get you to safety. Maybe we can get Twilight to help you around."

"T-Twilight?"

"Hopefully, when your tears are dried, she can explain everything that is going on. We are trying to find any Polar Opposites in the forest here. It's safest if we bring you to her castle."

"C-C-Castle?!" Stala was shaken, and not lightly. Her memory of what was once a corrupt Arvaelien leader didn't help with the word.

"Relax. She's quite friendly. Hell, she is the 'Princess of Friendship' herself, here."

Stala snickered, "I-Is that even possible?" She tried to speak calmly- through bursts of giggling.

"Apparently, heh. Look, if you're feeling any better, I think it'd be best to hurry you to the castle. Besides, you can meet who I have, during this time."

"How many?"

"7, if my memory serves me."

"Okay, I..." she stuttered, still fearful, "just take me there."

"Will do, follow my crimson light." As Snow said this, crimson light followed his footsteps, and Stala followed. "Starlight, Rainbow, follow the crimson steps."

Through the darkness, the three fellow ponies followed Snow back into the light, Stala quickly gaining her footing, having used magic to transform herself into animals before, being one permanently wasn't much hassle. As they reached the small camp by the edge of the woods, snow searched for the small green crystal.

"Did you really grab cristen?" Stala asked, her eyes beaming with both happiness and confusion.

"It is the most powerful stone for teleportation, so yes. Yes, I did." Snow said, bluntly.

"So you did pay attention in magic classes."

"If I didn't I wouldn't be here."

"..."

"Exactly, don't act like you don't know why it's a stupid question."

"Fair enough." Stala shrugs, falling on her face, having half expected to somehow stay up on her hind legs. Snow chuckles as Stala regains her footing, "It's not funny."

"Okay, your right. Let's fly to the castle!" Snow rolls his eyes as he says this, holding the green gem in his hoof. "Ready?"

"Ready!" Says the three of them. Stala puts her hoof on Snow's, and the others follow suit, assuming that's necessary.

"Teyouh!" Snow says, all four of them leaving faint, lime shadows in their place as they fly into the air, almost dust-like, appearing inside the throne room of the castle, reforming. "And we're here."

"That was so cool!" Rainbow said, seemingly bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Yeah, pretty neat!" Starlight said.

Twilight walked in, looking at the group, now including Stala.

"Twilight, this is Stala." Snow says, walking up to Twilight, Stala trailing behind him shyly.

"H-Hi, P-Princess Twilight..." Stala said, worried.

"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you, Stala," Twilight said, reaching a hoof to the scared newcomer.

"..."

"Is something wrong?"

"..."

"You must be frightened. Would you like to meet the others...?"

"..." Stala mumbles something under her breath.

"She's just afraid due to Arvaelie's Empress. She..."

"She wasn't the nicest..." Stala butted in.

"That's the easy way of saying she was the worst person you could meet- a person of power corrupted with an evil heart, soul, and mind."

"A-Ah... It's okay, Stala. I'm not like them. Most ponies are kind here." Twilight said, attempting- and succeeding- to calm Stala's nerves.

"Okay... Princess Twilight," Stala said, walking from behind Snow.

"Stala, please, just call me Twilight," She said, smiling.

"Yes, Twilight."

"Do you want to come read a bo-" Before Twilight could finish her offer, Stala's eyes lit up.

"Books? Where?"

"I'll assume that's a yes," Twilight said, giggling, "Come on. I'll take you to the library."

"Alrighty~!" Stala bounced up and down, following the purple unicorn out of the throne room and down the hall to the library.

"Well," Snow said, stretching, "Guess there is time to kill, hm? Might as well work on some sort of defense..."

"Snow~!" Rarity's voice echoed throughout the room, seemingly piercing the air with a song of avidity.

"Y-Yeah?!" Snow bounced into the air at the somewhat beautiful, but somewhat ear-piercing sound.

"You know the clothes I was working on?"

"The images you showed me?"

"Yes, darling, those. I finished them~!" Rarity smiled, presenting them to Snow, who looked at them, and then back to Rarity, barely tearing up as he grabs them in his aura.

"These... look amazing, actually... thank you, I'll be right back, just give me a second," Snow says, going invisible for a short time, reappearing with the clothes on, wearing the new boots on his hind legs and his old boots on his front legs. "This... feels so good! It's so comfortable!" Snow starts bucking into the air, away from hitting anyone.

"I'd figured you would like them~!"

"I sincerely cannot thank you enough," Snow said, walking close to the white mare, giving her a hug, "So here's a giant hug to make up for what words cannot express."

"Mhm~! You're very welcome, dear." Rarity said, hugging back. A few seconds later, Snow got a call on... something.

"Ah, hold on," Snow said, backing up. He pulls out a pair of goggles from his hair, strapping them on. "Yeah"

"Snow, why is everyone on all fours?"
