Heavy rain went down all over Canterlot and Ponyville, everyone stayed inside to avoid getting wet and in case of a disaster appearing out of nowhere.
Chrysalis stood outside of the forest leaning back against a tree, letting the rain soak her while shivering from the cold. She looked at the small town with a distasteful look on her face.
“What a plain and boring town. The home of the purple one.” Chrysalis said before she gritted her teeth as she remembered Twilight ruining her plans at the wedding. “She will pay for this.”

Spike knelt down and pat the cat “What are you doing out here in the rain? It’s freezing.” He picked her up and gently put her in his hoodie where she rested. “I’ll take you home with me, but first I gotta go deliver a book.”
After Spike delivered a book he went back home and towards his room. “Hopefully Twilight won’t mind you staying here.” He removed his hoodie and placed Chrysalis down on his bed, before grabbing a towel and drying her with it.
After being dried, Chrysalis watched Spike walk over to his closet and removed his clothing up to his boxers. She tilted her head as she noticed a few scars on his body, most of them were big and the rest were small. She thought it was quite interesting that a dragon like him who wasn't raised by dragons to have scars like that.
She shook those thoughts away as a plan crept up into her mind, a very risky plan but might just work out as planned.
Spike walked over to her only wearing his boxers and picked her up before walking out of his room. “I don't have any pet food, so I'll give you some chopped up raw rabbit. Would you like that?”
Chrysalis's eyes lit up a bit before she purred in response. Twilight walked into the kitchen while stretching, only wearing a bra and a short skirt. “Hey, Spike.” She noticed the cat and raised a brow. “Why is there a cat on the bench?”
Chrysalis looked up at Twilight and hissed at her before swiping at her, which caused Twilight to step back a bit.
Spike gently stroked the cat's head, calming her down. “I found her outside in the cold rain. Couldn't leave her out there, Twilight.”
Twilight frowned “Well take it to the animal shelter or something tomorrow, I don't want it here. Cat's make a mess.”
Spike frowned and gently hugged the cat before petting her. “So do you Twilight, which always ends up with me cleaning it up for you.” He looked down at Chrysalis who purred in content in his arms. “Also dinner will be done soon.”
Twilight huffed and walked out of the kitchen, but she quickly stopped before looking back at the cat who was sticking her tongue out at Twilight while snickering. Twilight growled and walked off. “I hate cats.”
After about a few hours go by, Spike walked into his room with the cat and placed her down on his bed.
“You can sleep with me tonight, my bed is more comfy and Twilight doesn't like animals on her bed.” He turned off his bedroom light and laid down on his bed.
Chrysalis watched as the drake fell asleep before transforming back to her normal self and giggled before getting off the bed.
“For a dragon, you're very kind.” She said as she walked over to the window and leaned back against it, looking down at him while grinning ear to ear. “The plan should be easy, all I need to do is get him into a very private area.”

Spike knelt down in front of a weird looking flower and used a stick to examine it. Chrysalis hopped off his shoulder and looked around just to make sure they were the only people in the part of the forest.
After making sure they were alone, Chrysalis transformed back to her normal form and looked at Spike who was picking the petals of the flower and putting them in a small wooden box.
Spike stood up and put the box in his bag. “Done collecting the snake flower, now to look for-” He turned around and went pale as he saw Chrysalis. “Chrysalis?! What did you do with my cat?!”
Chrysalis giggled and walked closer to him until he was leaning against a rock wall. “Meow~.” She placed a finger under his chin. “Thank you for taking care of me.”
Spike's eyes widen “You were my cat? Would explain why you were hostile towards Twilight.” He moved her hand off his chin “But why me?”
