An adopted boy Shane , Discovers who his real parents are, the only problem is they're ponies
An adopted boy who's been adopted for his whole life, he doesn't mind though, he doesnt think their is really difference between this and the real thing, right? You still get the same motherly hugs and the fatherly pats when you do good, and you get motherly scoldings and the old fatherly look of disapointment? What could be the difference right? He soon finds out when he gets teleported to Equestria.... by the power of.... a Mothers Love? Before you read note: I have an awful sense of comedy, I often make mistakes in grammar, please post helpful hints.... I would also love to post a picture but I HAVE NONE..... Enjoy :P. More characters may be added.... mabye... Though this is about half a year old and I have rarely written......... I need to rethink a lot of it.....
It was just a regular day when it happened, when I discovered who I really am, but what am I supposed to do, Right? Fate, destiny, what ever you want to call it, it just all happened and led me to this point. I'm glad to say this happened but I do miss them, though they weren't my real parents they took care me as I was one of them, but they're not there now and I have found my real parents....... Well parent, I still haven't seen my dad.... No one has actually..... I'm sorry am I going to far ahead? Let me show you from the beginning.
" Honey, come downstairs for breakfast " said a one too familiar voice coming from downstairs. I let out a long yawn as I awoke from a good nights rest. I stretched and let out another yawn, thank god it was the weekend. I opened my door to see my dad just waking up too. He looks at me as he whispers the words " Race you " and the challenge begun.
I pushed him into the wall, I was about to make a run for it when he grabbed me by my shirt collar, he was almost down the stairs by the time I recovered, Well he won this time, but I usually win most of the time. " You win this time " I said with a short chuckle as I reached the bottom step.
" Oh you two and you competitions " my mom said as she readied breakfast. She placed the plates on the table, " Wow Bacon, eggs, and pancakes, you're the best " my finger already greasy with the bacon now resting in my stomache. It took me only about 10 minutes to eat breakfast, since I'm, a growing boy and all, heh heh, and dad challenged me to a breakfast race, and of course I won. I loved spending time with them, but they weren't my real parents, but it didn't matter, it feels like the same thing...
I think....... You still get those motherly hugs, and fatherly pats on the shoulder when you do good, and the not so good motherly scoldings and fatherly looks of disapointment when you do bad, but either way it felt like they were my real parents.
" Your father is taking me on a romantic dinner this evening, you're going to be home alone ". " Blaaagh, were to? " looking to my dad. " Some fancy italian place ", " Cool " was all I said putting my dish in the sink.
I walked back upstairs to my room and turned on the computer, and while it was starting up I combed my hair, what I got a righteous bed head... The computer now on, I double clicked Google Chrome, It opened up the regular old Google Chrome start up screen. I went to facebook, no messages, a couple a farmville notifications, I don't even play Farmville..... A couple of friend requests from people I don't even know.... Nothing important happening right now. I went to my favorite arcade website, and went to my favorite game.

After about what seemed a short time, I beat it. As I looked at the TIME, HOLY CRAP. My parents probaly just left for their romantic dinner. I walked downstairs and I was right the place was empty. What to do now, I beat my favorite game for the fiftieth time, my parents are out of the house......Hmmmmmmm......
I know ill do something I haven't done in a while, but its still a bit to early for that..... I set my alarm a for estimated 2 hours before my parents came home, it would be a while, they take time on there dates, alot of time..... To much time..... I walked over to my bed still everything as it was like I left in this morning, so I hopped in. As I snuggled into the covers of my bed and drifted into a short nap.
Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring, uggghhhh, after a couple of minutes of blindly looking for the alarm I opened my eyes and sat up. I hit the alarm button and turned it off. I yawned and once again stretched as I got out of bed. I put on a comfy gray sweater, and I switched my shorts out for a pair of gray skinny, and being a bit skinny, they fit me alright...
I opened the door and then door double checking it to make sure its locked. I closed it, sneaking outside and checking to see no one else was outside. I put my hands in my pockets as I walked at a steady pace to one of my favorite star gazing spots. It took me about 10 minutes to get there, it was a nice sized hill surrounded by trees, about a 5 minute walk away from a park.
I gently placed myself on top of the hill, making sure to get nice and comfy. I wasnt looking for any constellation or star in particular, I just liked to look at the stars. I never bring anyone, cause I tend to get mushy while star gazing....
I looked up to the stars to be greeted by the tiny billions of white dots illuminating the night sky, I dont know why I loved doing this or why it got me so mushy, but it did, and I have no problem with that. But something caught my eye, it was really romantic, the stars formed a heart in the sky, and it the heart was illuminating me in its glow. My mind when into cluster as I tried to imagine me and the love of my life and me laying on this hill, watching the stars and this happens. As my mind returned to reality...... I was floating, I started to freak out, but I felt as though I was embraced in a warm hug, which I dont know why it calmed me down, but it did, I tried to hug back, but it was all air, I was confused, happy, and wtf at all the same time, than.....
It dropped me, I was falling helplessly flailing my limbs for something. But in the end I hit the ground and everything went black.....
Meanwhile............
Flutter Shy was hugging a picture of a little colt as her tear drops hit the floor, for she dearly missed him.
" Hey Flutter Sh-..Oooooh " the blue pegasus said as the picture flew out of the window and Flutter Shy scrambled to get picture, but it was already going where the wind took it.
Flutter Shy now even more distraught was crying into her hoofs, the blue pegasus went to comfort her. " I'm so sorry " she looked out the window then back the the crying pegasus. Flutter Shy was now crying into the Blue Pegasus's shoulder, " I-I m-miss him s-so much " the yellow pegasus managed to say before breaking back into tears. " I do too, he was an awesome little guy...... What brought him up? " she said rubbing Flutter Shy's back. " I-I wa-was a-at th-the- preschool, t-t-to drop off some for things for Cher-Cherilee, a-and I saw all the little colts and fillies " now crying again, the The blue pegasus tried her best to help her friend, but this was not really her kind of thing, she felt like crying too, but she remained strong for her friend.
It went on for a hour before she cried herself to sleep, she was placed gently on the bed upstairs as the blue pegasus took to the skies to retreat to her cloud home.
Back to Shane.......
" Where am I....? " I said as I recalled previous events. " Oh thats right, but shouldn't I be dead? " I said as a I tried to move but every part of my body was sore, it was even worse when I managed to stand up, " I must've rolled down the hill as I looked at my surroundings " I limped into the nearest clearing, but this wasnt home, it was almost morning, there was a town in the distance. I limped full speed ahead to the nearest town town.
I slowly limped towards the mystery town, and from soreness, unfound wounds, and being a complete idiot, each step was becoming more and more of an effort. I eventually gave up...... I was around the outskirts of the town, some body would find me right, after getting stitched up and whatnot, they'll call my parents and I would be home.
But again I was wrong, it would be some pony that would find me, and I wouldn't be going home anytime soon.
I managed to roll over on the soft bed of grass and continued my previous adventure, " Heh heh, these stars look funny, they don't even match the ones at home, and excactly how far from home am I, it couldn't be to far....... " I was mumbling myself to sleep by the time, some one had even noticed me, I had been asleep for atleast a couple of hours.
" Is it alive? "
" I dont know poke it with a stick "
" I dont have a stick! "
"Find one..."
Couple of minutes later....
" Found one! "
" Well what are you waiting for? Poke it "
" What if it moves? "
" Don't be a chicken "
" I'm not a chicken see i'll do it " * Poke *
" See it didnt move " *Poke poke poke poke *
" Let me try let me try! " *Poke in the eye *
" Errrgggg " slightly awoken I started rubbing my right eye, " Not now mom..... " still rubbing my eye
" What.... did he just call us? "
" I called you- " I managed to prop my self up on one arm and open my eyes to see 3 multicolored fillies looking at me, shaking with fright.
" Hah, I must be dreaming " I said to no one in particular.
" Run it talks! " Said an orange one flapping it wings and running at the same time.
" Ahhhhhh " Said a white one with a horn.
" Wait for me " said a yellow one.
" Haha, definatly a dream, talking ponies " I said to myself as I laid back on the ground to lazy or more like to painful to go anywhere.
Estimated 5 minutes before I heard more peopl-.... Errrr ponies coming again.
" What in tarnation was so important, that you had to stop me from apple buckin " said a voice with a southern accent
" But big sis, theres this thing, it scared the cutie marks outta us " said another voice with a southern accent
" It can't scare, what ya dont have lil sis, now lets see what scared you so much "
It was a dream, and in my dreams, Im the ruler, so I once again propped myself on one arm to greet the new ponies.
" Haha look more ponies " I said laughing
" What in tarnation is that? " said a orange one with freckles
Still laughing, but a thought hit me, if I'm dreaming how can I still feel the pain of the sores and cuts I have?..... Right when I looked up the orange pony kicked me with its...... Errrr Hind Legs? I put my finger to my nose to find out I had a nose bleed.
" Yep defiantly felt that " was all I said before I fell unconscious....
" Am I home? " I whsipered to myself because now I was laying in a bed, no no, My bed was soft and comfy, this bed is stiff and welly slightly un comfy, and this room, it looks like the inside of a tree, am I dreaming....?, no yesterday was all to real.
My head was still throbbing, and though I was still a bit sore, most of my small cuts and wounds were healed too. I heard something.... voices, talking on the other side of the door. I got out of the bed and silently walked over to the door and I placed my ear on the piece of wood seperating me from these ponies....? Im still a bit confused on that, well anyway.
" What is that thing Twilight? " said a familiar southern voice
" I dont know Apple Jack, none of my books books on creatures or myths has anything even close to what it is " said a mystery voice
" Should we wake it up? "
" What if its hostile? "
" Don't worry, ah already took it out once "
" Errrr....? Are you sure Apple Jack? "
" As sure as I am bucking apples Twilight "
Slighty confused I whispered to myself " Twilight? Apple Jack? " I put a hand on my chin to think about my current situation for a second, forgeting every thing else for a second.
" Okay.... If you say so Apple Jack " the voice followed by clopping sounds going towards the door.
I came back to reality to find the door knob being turned, and with my weight already on the door this could only lead to one thing, and as most peopel would do before and un expected meeting with the ground.
" Oh Shhhhhhhhiiiiiiii- " Was all I could say before I face planted my face onto the wooden flooring of the librarians tree in Pony Ville that has my face in the flooring which is the shape of a face that was my face to be particular.
" Owwww...." I moaned my face still being in the floor.
" Excactly how long were you spying on us? " came the familiar voice.
I lifted myself up too see that the voice came from a purple one, I scratched my head to think of a clever response....
" Would you believe me if I said that I am here to sell Girl Scout Cookies? "
" It doesnt even take the Element of Honesty to know that you're lying.... And I think you mean Mare Scout Cookies "
I could hear something similar to what sound like a face palm behind me. I had to make a change of strategy if I want to win this and make it out alive.
" Would you believe that I am very scared, want to go home, I really have to use the bathroom, and I fear that the orange one is going to hit me again? "
Another face palm, hoof, thingy, whatever sounded from both of them.....
The two mysterious, colored ponies release their hooves from their faces slowly and look at me with faces mixed between disappointment and confusion, and as I looked between the the short silence was broken by the orange one.
" Welp Twilight, I hav ta get goin, apples to buck, and he's seems pretty harmless to me " she gave a smile to her friend and left.
" So...... Your names.... Twilight? " I turned to the only pony in the room.
" Twilight Sparkle to exact, prized student of Princess Celestia herself, Number one in the knowledge of friendship - "
" Yah, that does sound interesting and all, but one why are you telling me this when neither of us trust each other? " putting a hand to my chin for some effect.
" Well Apple Jack was right, you seem pretty harmless.. " she was studying me..... It would be weirder if she was taking notes.... oh wait, there they are......
" Well then..... How can I trust you? ", the notepad was just sitting there in the air as well as a pencil was writing down things.
" How is it doing that?..... Its... Its just floating in the air.... " My sight switching between Twilight and the floating notepad/pencil.
" You mean you don't know what magic is? " she looked at me like I was just a complete idiot
" You mean like..... Pulling rabbits out of hats? " and that didn't help either.
"No no no silly.... Wait what and who are you again? " she looked at me again waiting for an answer and im having a self battle whether I should tell her or not.
" Well I never told you in the first place, but I guess I could tell you..... I'm a human, I come from earth, and where I come from, ponies most defiantly do not talk. " I said getting a quick view of my surroundings.
" Okkkkaaay? " She gave me a confused look, " So you're a Hue - mun? " scribbling on note pad.
" No, Human " I look at her as if I thought she would get it right the first time.
" Okay, Humawn? " scribbling out what was previously wrote and writing down something different.
" No, Huuuuuu-Maaaaannnnnn " I said wondering why I was still on the floor.
" Uggghh... Human " she looked annoyed but scribbled and re wrote again.
" Good, now about magic, explain it to me. " I said getting up off the floor.
" Well- " she was getting prepared for a lengthy explanation which involves stuff about how she is a unicorn and she has a friend named Rarity who is also a unicorn and that unicorns can only do magic based on their cutie marks, then she has 2 friends who are Pegasi, Rainbow Dash and Flutter Shy... I like that name..... She sounds nice...... Well anyways pegasi can fly and such, then she has 2 friends that are called earth ponies, Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie, and earth ponies don't have wings or a horn, but are twice as strong as anypony, and have earth based talents.
" Now, did you get all of that? " She said finally taking a breather.
" I.... Think so..... " I said rubbing my head some how sitting on the couch now.
" Now can you tell me a little about- " The Book Shelf losing and books it contained as I think what was a pink blur was shot out of it.
" What in the? " I said to scared to look away from the bookshelf.
" OH BOY! A NEW FRIEND! " Was blasted into my right ear....
" A PINKIE PIE PARTY " now losing hearing in my left ear, after calming Pinkie down enough and learning her name we cleaned the spilled books up and is now talking to me about " Welcome tot Ponyville " party to of course welcome to Ponyville.
" So...... You're going to throw a big party? Invite everyone, show that a species such as mine exists and possibly scare everyone?...... Sounds fun, I'm in " I give a a smile and look to Twilight. " But one more thing where am I staying? " My Smile turning into a neutral face.
" You can take the guest room for now, but I dont think a party is a good idea Pinkie..... " Twilight looking towards the confetti where the Party Pony was.
" How did she? " I said looking at the spot where she was, putting my hand there just to make sure.
" Thats Pinkie, Dont question it... She's is most likely planning the party as we speak. " Twilight said giving a short sigh afterwards, " Well your guest room is just the room you woke up in, Its getting late so we should- " Interrupted by both of are stomachs grumbling. " Well..... After Dinner.... " A blush followed by a slight chuckle coming from the purple pony.
" Errr....... Salad? " I said poking the plate with my utensil..... Twilight game me a stern look, " Well I don't have anything against vegetables, but mmmm, A good steak would be nice... Any meat actually..... " Licking my lips just thinking of another taste of bacon. But in return all I got in return was a hoof slap to the face.
" You mean humans eat meat! " A hoof covering her mouth.
" Uhhhh Yes..... I eat meat.... Is... That not allowed here...? " I watched Twilight dash off as fast as possible into the bathroom, sounds of vomiting followed..... " I will take that as a yes... " taking my first bite of the salad.
Twilight returns from the bathroom and resumes her spot at the table, " I'm not hungry anymore..... " Pushing her plate away.
I finish my plate and and place her plate on top of mine and place it in the sink, " So........ Im going to go to bed sooo.... Goodnight? " I place the plates in the sink and walk towards my room, giving a Twilight a final glance before walking in and closing the door.
I take off my shirt toss it aside and jump onto the bed, " Mom.... Dad....... I'm sorry.... " I pull the covers over my body and close my eyes to drift off to sleep.
" You're forgiven....... Just please come back.... " Flutter Shy was looking out her window into the night sky a tear dripping form her eyes every so often.
After a while Angel bunny hopped up to her signaling its time to go to bed.
" Alright Angel.... Just on more second.... " she gave one final look to the night sky to retreated to her bedroom hoping the party Pinkie's new "Friend" Would be enough to cheer her up.
I release a loud yawn and and slowly raise myself off the bed. " I guess yesterday wasn't a dream at all...... " I get off the bed and stretch as I search for my shirt.... " Im going to need more clothing..... " I pick the shirt from a dusty corner and brush it off before putting it on. " I wonder if Twilight is up yet..... " I walk up to the door before going pausing to listen. It was just pure silence as if something was waiting to come out when I opened the door. I thought of all the possible things that could be waiiting for me on the other side. " Oh well " I whisper to myself and open the door.
It was pitch black, but I never paid attention to it yet, but it was still early night, but I feel well rested.... Time must work differently here. I took a daring step out if the door and whispered " Hello? "
The lights quickly flickered on before followed by a " SURPRISE "... Then followed by a bunch of shocked pony faces.....
All of them looked scared, but a mint green one just looked at me with the biggest smile ever.
" A HUMAN " is all that came out before It jumped towards me with glee....
"You can stop that now.... " The main topic being my hands, for some reason they interested the unicorn the most. "If you're going to keep... Observing.... At least that's what I hope your doing to my hand..... Could you atleast tell me your name " Managing to get my right hand away from the crazed mare.
"IT TALKED TO ME!!!.... Oh sorry..... My names Lyra Heartstrings, Human Expert! " Followed by a big smile " I always knew humans existed, My Roommate Bon bon never beleived me though...... Hold on lemme show you to her! " Getting a grip on my hand and leading me out the Library.
"Waaaiiiiittt.... what about the party? " I said looking back to the bunch of confused ponies still in the library
"They wont mind as long as they get there party " Zooming of with me through the town.
"But I wanted to meet all the ponies.... " Giving a fake frown.
"No time! Got to rub this in Bon Bon's face! " Her taking a right and my face hitting a garbage can.
"Can you atleast slow down and let me walk! " I said rubbing my face. " And its the middle of the night! Are you really sure your Roommate would love to woken up right now?" I said making funky motions with my hands.
She stopped and let me get to my feet. "Awwww fine.... You can get your party....." She said Sulking away... It made me feel sad. I believe I deserve a punch to the face.
" Wait, I dont know my way back.... If you help me You can rub me in your roommates face tomorrow..... " I said walking up to and patting her head. I have redeemed myself, for now.
She instantly boomed back up walked up to me. " Great, there is also some other ponies I wanted to show off to " She started leading the way and I ended up back at the library flashing with lights and vibrating with bass.
" That must be one big party..... " I said rubbing my chin.
"Yah, Pinkie's party are not to miss.... Come on I want to show you off to everypony ! " Gripping my hand once again and leading me in through the door.
My first step in my blinded by flashing lights and a bunch of ponies hardly taking notice of my return. I look to one area of the library to see a DJ Station controlled by a White Unicorn with Electric blue Hair with Neon blue stripes in it.
" Woah..... This is awesome! " I said being lead deeper into the party by Lyra. Lyra leading me through crowds of ponies who just didn't give a care right now. After about a minute of running into random ponies I some how lost Lyra. "Good for me bad for her, On other notice... When did the library get so big?" I said finally taking notice of how the Library adjusted to a different size big enough to fit the party. "Was never one for dub step but this is great!" my attention returning through the front. I would of loved to listen longer but Pinkie trotted on state to make an announcement.
" Has anyone seen a Human about this high?" Her hoof stretching a irregular amount to my height. "This wide." Making a motion about twice my size.
"HEY! I AM NOT THAT FAT!" Offended by Pinkies perspective on my weight. This would have worked if the attention wasn't once again all on me. "Oh there he is, thanks everypony!" she said trotting off stage. "Where have you been for you're surprise welcome party to Pony Ville?" Pinkie said reappearing behind me.
"Uhhhh"
" No time, I have to show you to my other friends!" And with that I was once again hit in the face by a trash can while being dragged by a high-speed pony.
After Re-Meeting Apple Jack and a not so happy Twilight, I met Rarity and Rainbow dash. Rainbow Dash seemed cool but my intro was not long lasted as Pinkie had another friend to show me. Rarity who I saw before Rainbow was absolutely disgusted by my attire and suggested that I come over for a new outfit, or 5.
"And this is Flutter Shy." Pinkie leading me to a bright yellow mare with pink hair. She seemed pretty frightened of me, and if not frightened she is most likely down right freaked out by me.
"Uh... Hello?" I said slowly holding out my hand. All that I was responded with was a small eep and her crawling into the corner.
I pinched my stomach and looked to Pinkie. " Am I actually that fat?"
"Well, I guess on pony standards you would be considered fat, but I don't know about human standards, I would say you're the size of an average american." Pinkie said examining my stomach with her hoof.
"Average what?" Thinking I just heard Pinkie wrong..
"Nothing!" Pinkie said before bursting off leaving me and Flutter Shy.
"Soooooo, Hows life?" I say trying to make an attempt at conversation.
"Don't kill me." All I could hear was squeaking.
"Speak up?" I said trying to make my face look as innocent as possible.
"OH CELESTIA ITS MAKING SCARY FACES AT ME" Well that didn't work.
"What? Do I hide under your bed too?" I said jokingly. What felt like a pat to the face in her attempt to smack me. Than her dashing under the table. "Oh c'mon I don't really hide under beds, like I said I'm to fat too." I said motioning to my stomach
" Are you sure you don't hide under my bed?"
"No Flutter..... Shy, I don't hide under your bed." I attempted forgetting her name for a second. "No, Not your closet either." I said before she spoke up again. I bent down on my knees and looked under table.
"As long as you don't eat me, I ummmm..... We can be friends." she said slowly and cautiously making her way from under the table. She brushed herself off before getting a good look of me. It still seemed she was scared of me; Most likely the reason that i'm completely different species and completely new person to her.
"Any way I can make myself less scary to you?" I asked being polite, though wanting to get back to the heart of the party.
"Just don't um, eat me and ill be fine." she said her voice not making much change from when we first met.
"C'mon Shy, Do you mind if I call you shy?" I asked and she just politely nodded her head, though I thought she didn't enjoy a pet name. "Okay Shy, I am going to return to the party and try to get to know some more ponies. What are you going to do?" I said giving a small wave and started to slowly walk away.
"I think i'm going to stay here." she whispered slowly resuming her position under the table.
"Okay then, cya later shy." I said as I walked away.
"Oh there you are fatty." I turned around to see who the voice came from.
"Oh hey Lyra, sorry I got lost in the party... And i'm not fat!" I said kneeling down to her eye level. "So what do you need?" I asked patting her head.
"Well, its a party, and what do you do at parties?" she asked giving me a smirk.
"Well duh, you go to sleep!" I responded smiling back.
She sighed and grabbed my hand and started dragging me along. "Just c'mon and start partying with me."
We reached the heart of the party as she dragged me to the middle of the dance floor, all of the ponies to engrossed with the party to even notice me.
"Ummmm..... So you want me to dance?" I whispered into Lyra's ear.
"Duhhh, can you not dance?" she whispered back.
"Nope, not at all." I said shrugging.
"Well, do your best!" and with those four words Lyra started dancing. Trying to awkwardly fit in I tried dancing without looking like a complete idiot. I was not very successful. Seeing this Lyra started giggling and I just looked at her not amused at all.
"Okay okay, you dance pretty horribly, but that just means I got something on you." she said giving me a smirk. Still un amused I gave her a shake of my head.
"So is this the first time or does Pinkie usually throw a party every time someone-, somepony new comes?" I asked Lyra as I hopelessly continued dancing.
"She just throws party for any occasion, I think once she threw a party for herself....or the other Pinkie, Well I don't remember there was at least 30 of them." she said giving a slight shrug.
"So do you do anything?" I asked looking to her cutie mark.
"Hey you perv, don't look there." she said giving a wink to which I gave another un amused face. She just laughed and continued "Well I play my harp and get a few bits here and there, but my roommate pays most of the rent.
"Oh I see." I said giving a nod while I stopped dancing for a bit.
"So what do you do for a living?" she asked me.
"Well...Too young to really try for a job, so I just earn money by doing chores around the house. But as a hobby I draw a little." I said resuming my awful dance moves.
"Too young for a job? Well how old are ya?" she asked most likely thinking I was just too lazy.
"14" was all I responded with.
"14? Now you're going to tell me you are still in school aren't you?" she said laughing like crazy which caused us to gain the attention of a few ponies. She gave us a nervous smile and the ponies returned to their business.
"Well I am still in school." I responded as I almost lost balance dancing. She tried to keep a straight face. Her face slowly red before she burst out laughing. This time more ponies looking our way. She blushed red as we stopped dancing and she led me some where else.
"So, you're still in school?" she asked slightly giggling.
"Well how old are you?" I asked ignoring the fact that she keeps trying to hold back her laughter.
"I'm 16, doofus." she laughed rolling her eyes.
"Really? I guess for humans it must be different." I said to myself and her at the same time.
"I guess..." she said before things went to an awkward silence. I returned my attention to the party.
All the ponies happily dancing, not a care in the world. Unlike earth were everything is so separated and full of hate. If I was a pony and didn't have a family waiting for me on earth, I think I could stay here forever. Every pony so happy, immense joy filling their faces. I could almost go on forever about how our world should be more like this place. Almost forgetting the pony sitting next to me as she observed my though process.
"Hey..." she said tapping on my arm. I looked to her as my thoughts cleared and waited for her to continue.
"Well um....... Would you consider a relationship with a pony?" The music skirted to a stop and every pony looked towards me.
"No Lyra... I wouldn't even think of it." I say looking around me, getting a clear view of the expressions plastered on every ponies face.
"Well why not?" she asked her face turning red.
"Well... I'm a human and you're a pony." I simply answered.
"That is the only reason you have?" Turning the other way followed by an Ooh from the crowd.
"One, What if I happen to find a way home? I most likely wont be able to come back and I have a family back on my planet." I sighed before I continued. "Two, A pony and a human? How would than even work?" I asked and Lyra turned around.
"Okay..... But I bet I can find a way to turn you into a pony!" she said practically begging.
"Back to my first statement, what if I find a way home, will you be able to turn me back?" I looked to her and she gave me a shrug and a sigh. "Three, I am attracted to human females, not ponies." I said knowing she would take it the wrong way.
"Are you calling me....Ugly?" she said almost about to cry. She slowly got up from the chair sniffling as she walked towards the door. "I-I guess, I-i-ill go h-h-home..." was all she got out before she ran out crying.
"Nice one" came a voice from the crowd.
"Yah, whats wrong with a pony?" said another voice as ponies started to gather up and rant against me.
"Well I um, I guess, I don't know." I said with a sigh not wanting to explain my point a view to these angry ponies.
"Okay every pony, thats enough." Twilight appearing out of no where, shoving everyone out the door before they could mutter a word. After the last pony was through the door and a library cleared of everything but garbage, books, furniture, a human, and one Twilight Sparkle.
"Thanks Twilight." Taking noticed the library resumed original size. I will never figure out how the library stretched to fit the size of the party and then change back so fast.
"Just go to the guest room." Twilight said interrupting my train of thought. She didn't seem happy and I wouldn't want to anger any further, would I?
"Okay Sparkles." was all I let out before I quickly walked into my room and shut the door. "That party didn't go as expected." I said to myself as I slipped under the covers. "Nighty night." I whispered to myself, drifting off to sleep not too long after.
As I open my eyes once again, I am standing on a stone path as most of my view is covered by fog. I turn around but all that appeared to be behind me was an endless fall into eternity. I turn toward the original path and with a shrug of my shoulders I walk into the fog.
The path was endless, what felt like hours of walking let me feel like I made no progress at all... Maybe even walking in circles.
"Where am I?" I say aloud to no one in particular.
"We're in our mind, do you not remember falling asleep?" The voice came from all around the fog
"Our mind?" I asked the fog. I look around for a bit before my ears pick the sounds of hoof steps getting louder. I look around slightly disoriented just hearing foot steps before they stop right behind me.
"Yes our mind." said a voice not to different from mine. I turned around to see a pony, a pegasus. Brown hair, teal eyes, grey coat, and the most gentle look upon his face.
"But, you're a pony." Was all I could manage.
"Well, right now I'm a figment of your imagination. Created slowly as your memory slowly unlocks itself from being in Equestria." The Pony said.
"So, I was born a pony?" I asked the pony while observing every feature of him.
"Indeed, I believe when we were transported to so called Earth, are memories were locked of all things involving Equestria." He started to observe me also. "But I do believe that you can only access the Equestrian memories in your dream state is, Well.... Your memories are unlocking them selves, but your mind hasn't come to accept that." The memory pony said as he stood beside me.
"So basically, I'm crazy?" I asked the pony while I continue walking. "And how come I can only see memories now?" I asked turning my head to the pony.
"Well, no you aren't crazy yet, but if the memories keep unlocking them selves and your mind keeps trying to block them, eventually you will become crazy. To answer your second question, its because you're in a dream state. While dreaming you enter the deep thoughts of the mind of what the user truly desires but can't possess." Answered the memory pony as if these were everyday questions.
"Well, Ive always wanted to find my true parents... So is it possible for me not to become crazy?" I completely stopped and turned to him with a serious look.
"We, have always wanted to find OUR true parents." He said correcting me, then continued. "You need to find some sort of trigger, something in Equestria that lets you know that lets your mind come to peace." he said as the stone path slowly crumbled at my feet. "Well it appears you're waking up." He gave me a short wave as I avoided the falling tiles.
"But I didn't even get to see the memory!" I yelled as I missed a step and started falling down.
"Til next time!" He called down the hole as everything faded to black.
The sun beams shining on my eyes alarming me that morning has arrived. I tried going back to sleep but it just kept getting brighter and brighter til I gave up and just got out of bed. I sighed memories of dream and last nights party sitting in my mind. Twilight and a lot of other ponies were not going to be happy with me. I will am most likely going to have to clean up the mess. I sighed accepting fate I walked to the bed room door and opened it. Everything was in shape, everything in place as it was before the party. I looked around for a bit before I saw a green dragon engaging me in a staring contest.
"Uhhhh, Twilight?" said the small reptile, his voice surprisingly young and high pitched. "A monster from the Everfree forest broke in." came from the scaly creature.
"Twilight a baby dinosaur is talking to me... That or I'm just crazy." I said taking a step out of my room.
"Dinosaur....? But those haven't been seen since the Cave Pony days...Hey Wait! I'm a dragon!" He said a bit furiously.
"Dragons have wings! Clearly you have none." I said not showing any sign of backing down.
"Adult dragons do, I'm just not an adult yet." He simply stated
"Oh that's a load of Bullsh-"
"BOTH OF YOU ARE ACTING A BIT IMMATURE RIGHT NOW." Twilight angrily cutting me off from upstairs. A few seconds later she slams her door open, smashes it shut, and stomps downstairs.
"Sorry Twilight..." Came from both of us.
"Its fine, just both of you get breakfast and start cleaning up the mess from last nights Pinkie Pie Party". she said before putting on her Saddle Bags. "I'm meeting up with the girls." and with that she left me and Dino here.
"Hey Dino, what's your name?" I asked before walking into the kitchen.
"Dragon, and my name is Spike." He said following me in.
"Suuurrreee, anyways what's for breakfast." I questioned having no knowledge of the location of any food item in this kitchen.
"I don't know about you but I'm going to eat some Gems." Spike said before eating a handful of Rubies in one bite.
"Well lets see what we have here." I say going through the first cabinet. It contained hay... Yah I don't even think searching the rest of the cabinets is going to be worth it. So I decided to check the fridge. The fridge slightly better than the cabinets containing Milk, Apple Juice, Apples, Carrots, Lettuce, and... more Hay....
I decided to just take a Carrot to munch on while sitting at the table with Spike.
"So how much is there left to clean up?" Spike asked while finally finishing up his meal with a Sapphire.
"I don't even want to know." I finished not even looking at the Main Room.
