After the death of Rainbow Dash by a mysterious assailant but seeing Rarity as the culprit she is burned at the stake but for some reason she is not dead even though she is supposed to be dead and now she is about to exact revenge on the ponies who dealt her wrong.
Rarity ran as fast as her hooves could carry in the snowy Ponyville after Tia requested to have her taken out after she was found guilty of the murder of Rainbow Dash, a crime in which she didn't commit. Breathing heavily, Rarity could feel her heart beating at a fast pace but unknowing to her was Twilight flying above ground, trying to find Rarity so she can complete her mission Celestia gave her.
I have to get away, I can;t let them capture me Rarity hid behind a tree to avoid pegasus flying above.
Twilight stopped herself and surveyed the area in between the snow. She used her magic to be a make shift scanner, once the area was scanned there was no sign of Rarity anywhere she scanned.
"Where are you?" Twilight asked agitated.
Rarity ran like her life depended on it but found herself on the edge of a cliff where there was nothing except sharp pine trees and snowy ground below. Before she had the chance to even think about running, Twilight teleported in front of her that caused Rarity to jump and fall backwards, looking up at Twilight.
"Twilight darling you know that I didn't cause Rainbow's death. I would never try to harm Dash in any way" Rarity pleaded.
"You were present at the crime scene! All the evidence points back to one pony and that pony is you Rarity!" Twilight accused.
Rarity looked down at her fate leading to nothing but a more painful death.
"I am here to take you away and let Celestia judge you to see if you live or die" Twilight said.
"It wasn't me!" Rarity shouted.
A purple hue levitated the fashionista that led away from the cliff that would surely ended Rarity's life, Twilight opened the door to Celestia's back garden where other ponies shouted their disappointed and pure hatred for Rarity for killing Rainbow Dash even though she had nothing to do with it. In between all the heckling, some ponies threw fruits at her face to add more fuel to an already flaming fire inside Rarity. Twilight strapped Rarity in a torture contraption that was shaped like an X, for some reason Rarity wasn't even trying to fight back, knowing that her fate was sealed like airlock vent in a space vehicle.
"Fellow ponies of all races and gender, we mourn the death of our beloved Rainbow Dash at the hooves of Rarity. We let her escape once but with help from my faithful student Twilight Sparkle among others, I thank them for bringing Dash's murderer to justice" Celestia started.
The crowd voiced their opinions about Rarity, including throwing more things at her, which made this punishment a lot more embarrassing than it should be.
"With Dash in our hearts it is now time for this murderer to accept her fate" Celestia shouted.
Rarity tried to look up but was met with her sister in the crowd, trying to stop this senseless execution of Rarity.
"NO! Please show her some mercy! She didn't do anything wrong, your making a mistake!" Sweetie shouted.
A purple magical blast went through Belle's right shoulder, causing her to fall over on the ground. Twilight ordered Tia's guards to take Sweetie out of here so that they can continue.
"Now that we are free of interruptions let us continue our execution" Celestia said.
The crowd chanted BURN HER what seemed like a million times and Tia signaled Twilight to start burning.
"Any last words before you burn in Hell?" Twilight hissed, holding a lit torch.
"Your time will come Twilight" Rarity said.
With her final rites, the purple alicorn started up the burning with a satisfying smirk. Rarity felt the flames reach up to her bottom hooves but she wasn't screaming or pleading for Celestia for mercy, actually Rarity started laughing. Every pony looked up and all that left from Rarity was her red fur coat Fluttershy got her for Hearths Warming two years ago.
Murmurs fell upon the crowd as Celestia and Twilight tried to comprehend what they just witnessed. That laugh Rarity did meant something and one filly knew about it.
"Have the guards bury the body down at the Ponyville cemetery" Celestia commanded.
"Yes princess" Twilight replied obediently.
The guards wrapped up Rarity's charred body to the grave and buried it 6 feet deep then left.
Another punch landed on Sweetie's face, knocking her down again as Twilight stepped on one of her hooves, applying a little pressure.
"Aah!" Sweetie squeaked.
"Talk you little brat!" Twilight growled.
"I don't know why she laughed during her execution but you must stop hurting her or she'll come for you" Sweetie warned.
Twilight gave a slight little chuckle at the warning Belle gave her. Celestia grabbed her by the collar of her cloak and put Sweetie back inside her cell.
"Do not tell such stories like that again Sweetie Belle. Your sister Rarity is noting but food for the worms or at least what's left of her charred body. In any event, there is no way in hell she is coming back so the next time you decide to tell a story, at least come up with a good one" Tia suggested coldly.
"It's not a story! What I say is true!" Sweetie blurted out.
"Like anything you say is going to be truthful" Twilight sneered.
They both left Sweetie Belle sitting in her cell. The moon was starting to rise as Celestia walked over to her room of paintings every pony generously gave to her, one picture with a low gray mare with shimmering gradient inside her dark purple, wearing a red fur coat baring fangs and vampiric blue eyes in a snowy setting. Tia stopped to look at it for a moment but shrugged it off, knowing that Rarity was burned because she was present at the time of Dash's murder and tried to run away instead of facing her crime.
Now the ponies of Ponyville can rest easy knowing that monster Rarity is dead Tia entered her room and fell asleep on her bed.
A hoof raised from the white snow but soon enough a low gray mare got out of the ground looking down at the snowy ground then looking up to see Ponyville. She struggled to stand at first, a few more tries of getting up she became successful without having any more trouble. Staring out at Ponyville, the place she was burned at the stake was now going to feel her vengeance.
Now it's time to exact some revenge Rarity pulled up her hood and started walking towards Ponyville.
Twilight entered Sugarcube Corner where Pinkie came in on the front desk, greeting her friend.
"Hiya Twilight! I am so sorry about what happened to Dashie, did you at least give Rarity a pleasant death?" Pinkie questioned.
"Yes although that annoying filly said that Rarity laughing during her execution means something bad" Twilight recalled.
Pinkie burst out in laughter even snorting from laughing so hard then breathing heavily before forcing herself to at least stand up.
"That is the funniest thing I have ever heard!" Pinkie said giggling some more.
"I found it very funny as well" Twilight said.
They both shared a laugh over some snacks and coffee. In between their conversation Pinkie looked over to her window , noticing Rarity pressing her hoof on the glass with a devious devilish smile spreading across her face.
"Twilight I think somepony is outside the window" Pinkie pointed out, gesturing her to look out the window.
Twilight did so but saw nothing except snow falling.
Meanwhile, Celestia was in her room writing in her citation about a victory speech about killing Rarity after what happened to Rainbow Dash. A strong gust of wind blew through Tia's window blowing out her candles.
Before Tia could react, she heard fight sounds and cracking of bones in between screaming then silence. She opened the door to see her guards on the ground motionless and a mare sitting on Celestia's throne.
"Who are you?" Celestia bellowed, lighting up her horn to reveal Rarity.
Rarity exchanged a smirk with her fangs sticking out her mouth, staring at the Sun goddess intensely. Celestia didn't want to believe that mare she burned along with Twilight was now sitting on the throne. She looked at what was left of her guards then back at Rarity.
"But your supposed to be dead?!? I killed you!" Celestia shouted.
"Well you did a really poor job of it Celestia. When I laughed, you have forgotten about that special bond me and my little sister share" Rarity began to say, removing her hood showing off her beautiful mane.
"Bond?" Celestia was baffled.
"When Twilight shot Sweetie Belle, that just ignited my fire so thank your most faithful student" Rarity explained.
Celestia had enough of this nonsense so she fired a beam of her magic at Rarity causing the throne to be in shambles but not the fashionista.
Where did she go? Celestia looked around.
All of a sudden a magical blue blast struck Celestia straight in the chest to the heart but not enough to kill her. She fell on the cold unforgiving ground with her crown crashing on the ground near Rarity.
"Tia I expected more from you. Oh well I guess even I have to not expect you to do anything except sit on your ass while these ponies worship you like your some kind of god or something. Sorry to say darling but you are just a pony with a lot of power" Rarity said.
Celestia tried to stand up but the next thing she felt was the sharp pain coming from Rarity's fangs digging into her neck. The blood dripped onto the floor as Tia twitched, Rarity felt her warm blood go down her throat which was not only satisfying but what she needed. Once Tia stopped twitching, Rarity retracted breathing heavily after having a wonderful meal.
"I would feel sorry for you Celestia but...my sympathy is going to be resolved for somepony who deserves it" Rarity addressed coldly but she didn't care.
Sweetie Belle felt stupid for telling that warning, knowing that fell on deaf ears considering Rarity was already burned alive for Rainbow Dash's death, suddenly she heard distant hoof steps approaching and Belle braced for Tia to give her another beating except it wasn't Celestia or Twilight but instead it was her big sister Rarity smiling at her.
"Rarity! Your alive!" Sweetie shouted happily.
"But of course darling, I warned them about our unbreakable bond for each other. Tia was used as an example and soon it will be that alicorn princess who will be my next victim by winter's end" Rarity proclaimed.
"Before you do that, would you mind letting me out of here?" Sweetie asked.
Rarity's horn lit a blue hue and bended the jail bars to create an open hole for Sweetie Belle to walk out of. Once she came out the hue coming from Rarity's horn dissipated as Sweetie hugged her leg; Rarity smiled from the hug knowing that now she never has to worry about anything for a while.
"Sweetie Belle I need you to head back to the Boutique and stay there until I come back" Rarity commanded.
Now for Twilight Sparkle Rarity pulled her hood over her head, walking out of the castle and on her way to Twilight Sparkle and whoever stands in her way will be eliminated.
The wind blew a little rougher outside the window Twilight was looking at, examining what Pinkie said earlier about seeing Rarity in the window but when Twilight looked all she saw was nothing but snow outside.
Maybe Pinkie did see something out there but on the other hand she could be high on sugar Twilight pondered.
Far off in the distance a red fur coat could be seen by Twilight which made her back up from the window.
"What the hell?" Twilight baffled.
Did she just see Rarity? Her mind swirled with a thousand thoughts coming at her at once trying to comprehend what she saw through the window.
"Twilight are you okay? Did you see a spoopy ghost or something?" Pinkie asked in her normal playful tone.
"Yes I'm fine Pinkie I appreciate your concern" Twilight responded completely ignoring Pinkie's playful nature.
Pinkie exchanged a smile to Twilight that reassured the purple alicorn that nothing was going to happen.
"Like I said Pinkie, Rarity is nothing more than an ash pile 6 feet under" Twilight repeated.
"Yea" Pinkie beamed.
All of a sudden without warning the lights inside Sugarcube Corner cut off, the store went dark and silent except for the occasional wind howling from the snow. Pinkie came out with a flashlight to illuminate in this sudden darkness, Twilight lit up her horn. They both heard a noise that sounded like a shriek from outside, Twilight walked over to the source of the scream and was jump scared by a mare hanging outside by a noose around her neck. Pinkie and Twilight screamed and ran out the room to the basement before Pinkie locked the door behind her.
"Somepony is here with us!" Pinkie shivered, shaking in fear.
"Calm down Pinkie it was probably a power outage due to the increasing snowstorm" Twilight lied to keep her pink companion calm.
Being in the basement wasn't the smartest idea but it was the best thing for right now. With Rarity inside the bakery, there was literally no other hiding spot that might keep this vengeful mare at bay. Twilight could hear her own heartbeat along with Pinkie's, considering that Rarity could be stalking them from above.
"Now Twilight I know your in here so please darling make this easy for you and let me suck you dry" Rarity offered.
The purple alicorn didn't say anything but only swallowed hard and somewhat sweated.
"Twilight what are we going to do?" Pinkie asked frantically.
"Right now I think hiding in the basement is our best option to keep us away from Rarity" Twilight answered.
Even Rarity thought them hiding a basement was a bit of a bad idea but it was something to keep them scared, Sweetie warned them but never listened so now they were paying for it.
Rarity looked around for a weapon capable of bashing that basement door to extract revenge on Twilight for what she did or tried to do to Sweetie Belle. She searched in the bedrooms, bathroom, even in front desk but couldn't find what she was looking for which started to irritate Rarity.
Oh wait I have magic, silly me Rarity giggled to herself, forgetting that she is a unicorn.
Twilight suddenly could hear a surge of magic being ready to fire so her and Pinkie shielded each other when the door blew a hole big enough for Rarity to walk through, once Twilight uncovered herself and Pinkie they looked in shock at the white unicorn mare walking down the stairs sporting a wicked toothy grin.
"Rarity I killed you! You can't be alive!" Twilight shouted.
"I already heard that speech from Princess Celestia and I must say darling, for a princess of light her blood tastes sweet not too sweet" Rarity expressed.
"What did you do to her you monster!" Twilight growled.
"Oh nothing too major just took a bit of blood from her, showing her that even an alicorn princess can be taken down by a mere unicorn like me" Rarity assumed.
"You killed her out of revenge? Rarity that's not how you solve your problems!" Pinkie reminded her.
Rarity only let out a sinister giggle, to say that Pinkie's words meant nothing but only falling flat. Twilight gritted her teeth and rammed the white unicorn into a wall, watching Rarity slide down the wall with her head hanging down going limp.
"You may have killed Celestia but you forget I'm smarter than you" Twilight proclaimed.
Bones cracked into place as Rarity rose up and stood on all fours, cracking her neck. Twilight and Pinkie's eyes widen at the display that they see in front of them, Rarity was rammed hard by Twilight's strength and yet she still stands like she wasn't hurt in the first place.
"Ooh darling that felt nice" Rarity said.
Twilight's horn lit up then fired a magical blast towards her but she went intangible before changing back and punching Twilight in her gut, sending her flying into a brick wall thus shattering it and skidding onto the snow.
Rarity then turned her attention from Twilight to Pinkie who was charging at her but she side stepped the pink party pony, causing her to trip over the hole that Twi made thanks to Rarity. She ended up outside with Rarity walking towards her, licking her fangs.
"Rarity please I'm not a threat to you honest, please I'm your friend I don't deserve to die" Pinkie pleaded.
A small side of sympathy wasted over Rarity as she kissed her on the cheek and petting her head. Pinkie was confused but grateful that Rarity didn't turn her into a snack to munch on but instead she showed a sign of sympathy before she looked into Pinkie's eyes.
"Darling I want you to go back to Sugarcube Corner while I get Twilight, if I see any attempt from you trying to stop me my mercy for you will come at an end" Rarity warned.
Pinkie nodded and walked back to the bakery without saying another word.
"Now for Sparkle" Rarity pulled her hood over her head and followed a scent Twilight left for the fashionista to potentially follow.
Twilight groaned holding her head and looking up at the sky, snow to her was peaceful and soothing. She eventually stood a bit of red appeared in the snowy ground, that was when she noticed she was bleeding from the skidding after Rarity's gut punch.
She actually made me bleed Twilight couldn't even fathom that Rarity's punch was that powerful.
"Well well look's like I didn't have to move far to find you" Rarity said, coming down from a tree.
"Rarity!" Twilight called out.
"That's my name darling but I highly doubt saying my name will save you" Rarity said.
"No but killing somepony doesn't-"
Twilight was cut off by a magical blast to her leg, knocking her down near the cliff where she grabbed Rarity so that Celestia could burn her at the stake so a slight hint of deja vu fell upon Twilight.
"How? Why would you do this?" Twilight questioned.
"Why? It's quite simple darling, you see I was present at the scene where Rainbow Dash was murdered but you missed one last key detail" Rarity began to say.
Twilight struggled to stand.
"The murderer was none other than her own friend Twilight, meaning it was you who killed Dash then pinned it on me just to keep your princess status clean as a whistle. You couldn't just watch as Dash was getting all the attention and you were fading to black so in a fit of spite you fired a blast of magical energy into poor Rainbow's heart then you mismatched the evidence before you somehow convinced Celestia that I did it just to get the glory all to yourself and ponies would worship you and forget about Rainbow Dash. Simply pitiful Twilight" Rarity explained.
Twilight looked down at her hooves, they flashed red and showing a now dead body Rainbow Dash.
"The blood was on my hooves" Twilight quivered.
Rarity smirked at this sudden revelation she was watching in front of her. Twilight could see her explanation to Celestia about her crime that she convinced the sun alicorn princess that placing the blame on Rarity would keep her in the clear.
"You see Twilight the blood is not on me but it's all over you and they tell a story" Rarity addressed.
A magical energy blast hit Rarity in the chest that sent her breaking into a tree. Twilight fired multiple blasts until her horn burned red but Rarity stepped out of the smoke, the wound she suffered healed quickly.
"DIE!" Twilight growled, charging at her.
Rarity kicked her to the ground super hard, almost killing her and before she could get up Rarity stomped on her hoof, like how Twi did to Rarity before she was burned. Twilight screamed loudly at the sheer pain and despair Rarity was dishing out.
The white unicorn bared her fangs into Twilight's neck, gulping down her blood even as Twilight was silently crying knowing that she will never be forgiven because of what she did. Her heartbeat began to slow down the more blood Rarity sucked out, Twilight's vision started getting blurry and soon enough her eyes closed one final time and became motionless.
Rarity retracted her fangs, licking the excess blood from her mouth then looked down at Twilight's motionless body after draining the blood from her and that made Rarity smirk.
"If only you would have to fess up to your crime Twilight, maybe you would have been sparred and I wouldn't be standing over your dead body" Rarity said.
The snow stopped as Rarity walked back to Ponyville then heading back to her boutique where she told Sweetie Belle to stay. Opening the door, the white unicorn looked over to see her little sister sleeping on the couch using her cloak as a blanket.
Rarity smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
Now I know I have something to protect
She placed her red fur coat on a hanger before walking towards her room where she her fabric along with her stitching machine.
"Hmm since the weather is going to be nicer, it would be wise to wear something light" Rarity said.
She grabbed a black fabric then some red and went to work on measurements and what not, making one for Sweetie Belle instead of her having that filthy cloak all the time. When it was all done, Rarity added a purple gem with her diamond cutie mark engraved in it.
