"H-huh, w-where am I?" Sean asked as he groaned sitting up and looking around at his surroundings. "And why does my arm hurt so...oh, shit." He said, looking down at his arm. His eyes widened as he realized his arm was twisted and broken with bone penetrating the skin like a branch freshly broken off a large tree. Worried, Sean rose to his feet and began stumbling through the valley, hoping to find civilization...
Sean's movements became more sluggish as the loss of blood and trauma from the immense pain caused his vision to blur and his body to feel heavy. He leaned against a tree before slowly falling to the ground and blacking out.
"Goodbye Princess, I’ll be sure to have Spike bring these books back once I'm finished with them." Twilight said as she left the castle and stood on the terrace overlooking a large field. "Maybe I should fly back to Ponyville today--after all, I gotta get used to these wings." She said, leaning forward and jumping as she floated into the sky and shot off towards home.
As she zipped through the sky, her gaze quickly fell upon the unconscious human. Worried and curious, she flew down and slowly approached him.
"E-Excuse me...are you OK?" Twilight asked, nudging the human with her hoof. She quickly remembered that one of the books Celestia gave her has information on all the species that have visited Equestria. She opens the book and quickly leafs through it in search of something resembling Sean.
"...ah, here we are--humans, now let's see what we can find out."
She said as she began to quickly read through pages of text she realized the dire situation Sean was in. She flipped through a medical book that conveniently had several pages on human anatomy and ailments; naturally, curiosity struck Twilight as she quickly switched to the other book and read closely.
Sean's eyes slowly opened as his vision remained blurry. He blinked his eyes several times until Twilight's figure became clear.
"H-Huh? What the hay are you?" Sean asked, taking back by Twilight's size and oddly proportioned body.
"Huh? Oh good, you're finally awake; my name is Twilight Sparkle. I was on my way home and say that you were in trouble. So, I took it upon myself to fly down and help you." She said as Sean blinked with disbelief as he stared blankly at her.
"Okay Twilight, then where the hell am I?" Sean asked in a raspy, pained voice; apparently his body had been shutting down due to the trauma of his impact with the ground.
"Well, you're in the world of Equestria, a magical land filled with magical creatures of all kinds. I live in Ponyville with my five other friends, we are tasked with defending Equestria as well." Twilight said as Sean slowly nodded trying his best to comprehend what she was telling him. She scanned his body with her magic as a purple aura enveloped his body. The sensation both terrified and relaxed Sean.
"Oh, no-no-no-no-no, this is bad, stay here and I’ll come back with someone more qualified to help you.." Twilight said before flying off, quickly heading for Canterlot. Sean laid back against the tree, shocked at the events that just took place; it was clear that he’s not in his own world anymore and the realization that he may not be able to return home both terrified and excited him as Sean secretly enjoyed the idea of exploring new lands.
"I'm just gonna close my eyes and wake up in my bed, safe and sound." He paused and thought about everything Twilight had just told him. "Actually, please say I wake up in a hospital and I'm in a coma." He said before slowly blacking out once again.
Sean woke up and sluggishly sat up in bed looking around at a large white room with regal accents and white tile mixed with purple carpet, the decor of the room was clad in purples, golds, and greens.
"Where am I?" Sean asked as Twilight walked out of the closet holding a pair of clothes that she had had Rarity make while Sean was Sleeping.
"Still in Equestria, Sean, only this time you’re in my castle. You're making a full recovery and your arm should be back to normal in a few weeks." Twilight said throwing him the clothes & waiting for him to change.
"How do you know my name?" Sean asked choosing to ignore the fact that a literal Unicorn is talking to him in English, more importantly talking at all. Twilight giggled as she floated Sean's wallet into his lap.
"Your wallet gave me all the information I needed, Sean Rice, Age 21, 6'2, 195 pounds, and blood type O. So, I'll say it again; I know everything about you Sean." Twilight said as she sat next to the bed he was on and waited for him to change as Sean blushed and looked at her.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Twilight asked as Sean nervously rubbed his head.
"Well, you see... in my world we don't exactly change in front of people...So I assume same would go for ponies." Sean said as Twilight put her hoof on her face and sighed.
"Fine, I'll be right outside the door, once you're done, I'll answer any questions you have. Just hurry and change." After a few minutes, Sean opened the door letting her back in. Twilight took a seat near the edge of the bed. "Okay, so now comes the part where you ask me questions, now ask away, human...I mean Sean."
Sean sat there for a few minutes contemplating what he was gonna ask. After a little more waiting Sean had formed four questions that he thought would help. "Let's start off easy; Will I ever be able to go home?" He asked as Twilight turned away and grimaced,lowering her ears.
"At this moment no, we have no idea how you got here. If we find that out, then it's possible." Sean looked down and turned away, almost as if he had just gotten his heart ripped from his chest.
"What will happen if I stay here?" Twilight's ears perked up at the question as she became overwhelmingly excited.
"All kinds of things--I'd get to watch you eat, solve problems, psyche test, oh my, the amount of tests to perform on you are limitless, not only that but I can also test a human's pain tolerance and maybe even monitor your brain in a live experiment. " Twilight said as Sean looked at the window.
I wonder if a fall from this height would be enough to kill me, he wondered.
“Umm...Twilight; while I’m sure you're positively ecstatic about experimenting on me, could we maybe not do some of the more...painful ones?” Sean asked as Twilight grinned and rubbed the back of her head blushing slightly in embarrassment.
"S-sorry! Sometimes science makes me a little crazy when a possibility like this pops up, but seriously it can be so much fun, I can run tests on you and you can meet my friends." She said repeating herself in excitement as the word "friends" struck a chord with Sean. Back home, he was a loner and chose not to make friends. He soon began to rethink his idea on window jumping.
"What was that about friends?" He asked as she slowed down and blushed as she thought she was talking in her head.
"Well, this world is about friendship, love, and togetherness, well that and magic and creatures that sometimes threaten our way of life." She said nonchalantly as Sean gulped with wide eyes.
"Tell me more." Sean said picking up the big book and setting it on the bed before picking up Twilight. She blushed and gently squirmed at the feeling of his hands, he smiled setting her down next to him. "Please...I wanna know everything."
Sean relaxed in bed looking up at the ceiling as Twilight slept soundly at the foot of his bed. She had exhausted herself from teaching him about Equestria and the laws of the land. He sat up and smiled before holding her and tucking her into the bed before getting up and leaving, he walked through the castle admiring every detail of each massive room. As he explored each room he came across five doors each with a different symbol on it:
A rainbow with a lightning bolt and a cloud, three butterflies in a group,three apples, three balloons, two blue balloons in the corner and a yellow balloon in the middle, and finally three diamonds. Sean looked puzzled as the significance of these symbols was lost to him, as he walked he thought back to what Twilight told him about her friends and the elements of harmony. He quickly snapped his fingers as he finally understood the doors and the symbols that adorned them.
Sean stopped at the castle balcony and looked out at Ponyville as it slept peacefully under the cold embrace of night. "A world filled with magical creatures and I'm the only human here. I don't know wether to be happy or sad; I mean sure I had no friends back home and Twilight did say most Ponies are friendly, however is it worth giving up who I used to be?" Sean asked himself as he saw a shooting star whiz by him in the night sky. Excited, he closed his eyes and made his wish letting out a deep contented sigh.
"This place is so relaxing and carefree, the inhabitants are so kind and warm hearted. It's so much better than back home I mean at home my life was so desolate, but here I have these friends who want to be around me...maybe staying here won't be so bad." Sean said as a large white pony walked up next to him. The mare had tall thin legs and curvy body with a long horn, gold crown, and horn that nearly trumped the length of Sean's arm.
"My Kingdom is not all my pupils makes it out to be human, you will without a doubt encounter prejudice here amongst my subjects. I try to teach them to accept all but some will fear you and that fear will morph into hate." She said putting her large wing around Sean. He gasped at the sensation of fur and feathers caressing his back and looked over at the princess as her slightly almond shaped eyes had a look of pain, yet behind her amethyst colored eyes there was a spark of hope for something that Sean desperately wanted to find.
"So, this place really isn't different from Earth?" Sean asked in a solemn tone as he looked out at the moon.
"No, dear human; your world is ripe with murder, hate, genocide, war, greed, and disrespect for nature and the very planet you live upon. In my Equestria, I work my hardest to prevent these from happening. I have been successful for the most part as there hasn't been a war in these lands for thousands of years. There have been small battles and conflicts here and there but it has all been handled by the Elements of Harmony, one of which took you in and cared for you." She said as she turned and gestured at the sleeping Twilight. Her body softly rises and falls under the blanket as Sean smiles at her.
"So, the friends she goes on about, the ones use cutie marks match the ones on the door down the hall, those are the other Elements?" Sean said as the princess nods and smiles.
"They are the Defenders of Equestria and are loved by most for their deeds." She finished as Sean smirked at this newly found info and stands tall.
"Princess Celestia, teach me how to become a defender of Equestria, if it means that ponies will accept me regardless of my species then I'll walk to hell and back to prove my point." He said with the passion and fire of a man who had finally found his purpose in life. "Please, Celestia help me, Sean the Human, become a Defender of this land, It's all I ask of you."
Celestia stands back shocked and surprised by the sudden 180 that had occurred before her, she looked at Sean before smiling softly and rested her hoof on his shoulder. "Sean, what you're asking for is the impossible, even if you become a Defender some ponies will still look down on you. Not to mention it will be harder for you to break the newly formed bonds and return to your home." She said as Sean put his hand over her hoof and smiled at her.
"Princess, I don't care--this is an opportunity to do something great with my life, something I never would have gotten back on Earth. Home and family be damned! I want to remain here and help defend your Equestria, my Princess...please allow me to serve you as Twilight and the millions of other ponies do." Sean said gently falling to one one knee and placing his arm over his chest and bowing to Celestia as she giggles happily.
"Are all humans this dramatic?" She asked as Sean blushed deeply in embarrassment. "Do not worry, Sean I shall allow you to serve me but being Defender of Equestria is a title one must earn. So, as a little tip; You don't have to lay on the theatrics for me, a simple "May I serve under you Princess?" Would have sufficed. Although the notion is welcome." She said giggling as she turned with Sean to enter the room.
"Are you absolutely sure you want this, Sean? Before I make it official, you have nothing here forcing you or binding you to help this world." Celestia said as Sean looked at Twilight and smiled warmly.
"I do now Celestia, I do now." Sean said as Celestia looked at Twilight along with him and giggled before walking out of the room. The last sight she saw was Sean sitting by the bedside giving Twilight another soft smile and lifting the covers over her to keep her warm. He stood up and began grabbing books about Equestria from the shelf and began to open them and read. Celestia closed the door and walked out of the castle and climbed into her carriage as it flew off back to Canterlot.
"Okay Sean, first rule about becoming defender of Equestria is teamwork and trust, so today I'm gonna introduce you to the other elements." Twilight said as she and Sean walked through the hallway, he reached out and ruffled her mane and scratched her head, laughing.
"Don't worry, Twilight I'll be fine, after all being kind and courteous is my specialty." He said as Twilight blushed under his touch before breaking away and fixing her mane.
"N-Next time, give me some warning or I'll blast you to the Crystal Empire." She said coldly as Sean drew his hand back quickly as they approached the doors that lead to the council room. "Let's go, Sean." She said as the two walked in headed to the large round Crystal table, Sean looked around as four other ponies gave him questionable looks. The pink pony at the end however smiled wide and waved rapidly as if she were excited to see a complete stranger. Sean smiled and waved back as she smiled more giving off a noise that could be described as a slight “squee” sound.
Sean took his Temporary seat as Twilight cleared her throat to speak. "Girls, this here is Sean, he is a member of an ancient alien race called humans. They lived alongside early ponies and after a while left to find their own world to colonize and live independently. Sean is the first human to return since the humans’ departure and has asked Celestia to become a Defender of Equestria so that he can earn the respect of ponies until his judgment day. When this day arrives he will be given two choices; A free pass home to Earth, or permanent residence here among us. It's up to us to help him make a decision in the allotted time frame, so... any questions?" Twilight concluded as the girls looked at each other in disbelief and amazement. Sean nervously looked around the room, unsure of the answer awaiting him he leaned forward and spoke.
"I-It's nice to meet all of you. Twilight has told me about the five of you, well all except your names, that is." Sean said before having his eardrums near-burst by a loud voice.
"HimynameisPinkiePieitsnicetomeetyoudoyoulike sweetscauseIdoIlikecupcakescookiescakesmuffins..." The pink ponies said in one hyperactive sugar-induced run on sentence before Rainbow Dash stuffed a cupcake in her mouth to shut her up.
"I, umm...Yes?" Sean answered with a smile as Pinkie launched into the air throwing confetti and cheering.
"He has my vote!" She exclaimed shooting crumbs all over Sean as Rarity shakes her head.
"Apologies, darling, Pinkie has a habit of consuming too much sugar, but she will grow on you I promise." Rarity says with a smile before looking at her friend's. "Oh dear where are my manners? My name is Rarity and I am the town fashion star and most beautiful pony in Ponyville." She said flipping her mane and fluttering her eyelashes as Rainbow Dash face-hoofed and sighed before sitting forward and placing her hoof on Sean's back.
"Sup? My name's Rainbow Dash, Equestria’s number one Weather Pegasus and future Wonderbolt. Nice to meet ya." Rainbow said as she struck a heroic pose and gave off a cocky smirk.
"Who is the yellow pony that has been eyeing me up and down for the past 30 minutes?" Sean asked brashly as Fluttershy sunk down and hid behind her mane.
"Sean, that's Fluttershy and you can't be over critical with her, she is very shy and timid." Twilight said as Sean blushed in embarrassment and looked over at her.
"My apologies, Fluttershy I didn't mean to be rude, but...why have you been staring at me like I'm some kinda Greek Statue?" Sean asked as Fluttershy quietly squeaked out in a low voice.
"B-Because caring f-for plants and animals i-is my special talent, and I-I've never seen an animal like you before." Fluttershy said quickly blurting out the last part of the sentence before squeaking and hiding behind her mane again.
"Well, now guess that leaves me, nice ta meet ya sugarcube the name's Applejack an’ ah run the local Apple Orchard here in Ponyville." Applejack said as Sean smiled at her and reached out to shake her hoof.
"Nice to meet you, Applejack--in fact, it's nice to meet all five of you and I hope our friendship deepens during my time here." Sean said as Twilight smiled and began addressing the to-do list for today.
"Okay, so upon arriving at the crystal empire we will make a rush straight for the barrier. Surprisingly Sombra is back and with a new physical form. We must remember to that Sean is a human with no magic or any type of combat training so protecting him is our main goal." Twilight said as Sean cleared his throat and stood up to his six friends and spoke.
"Actually, Twilight back on Earth I not only know three fighting styles but I'm also skilled in polearms and swords." Sean said as they all looked at each other and laughed.
"Sugarcube, it's cute that you wanna act all big and bad around us but don't kid yourself--ponies are physically stronger than humans, not to mention unicorns have powerful magic, so you wouldn't last five minutes in a fight here." Applejack said as Sean frowned at her before sitting back down sadly. Only now does it dawn on him why ponies hate humans, and Applejack was only proving Celestia's point. He bowed to the girls and got up and left under the ruse of needing fresh air despite having massive windows behind him in the room open. It was at this point Twilight started to see the flaw in humans and more importantly why war and violence was so prominent in Sean's world.
"Celestia was right, humans really are hated here.” Sean said as a pained thought began to torment him. “Maybe I should take her advice and go off on my own." Sean said before grabbing books for reading and kindling and a Spear off the wall before sneaking out of the castle and towards a large wooded area near the back of Ponyville.
Twilight told the girls about what happened. After Sean had left the castle to go out and prove Applejack wrong Twilight came to his room to check on him and saw him running towards the Everfree Forest. She quickly ran through the castle in a panic before reaching the meeting room, she burst through the front doors terrified beyond belief.
"Girls we gotta go now, Sean took a spear and some survival books and ran off towards the Everfree Forest." Twilight said loudly as the girls all gasped and clambered to their hooves. Applejack steps forward and grabs her saddle bags.
"Is he stupid? Why of all places would he choose there?" Rainbow Dash asked as the girls left the castle and began running to the forest.
"Applejack, you have to watch what you say around humans. They are a race that when told they can't do something they feel the need to prove their accuser wrong and they often end up hurt or dead." Twilight said as they galloped through town as fast as possible trying to catch up with him.
Meanwhile, in the Forest, Sean began to search around for a clearing to set up camp for the night. "Huh, this place looks just like the forests on Earth. I wonder if the animals are the same here too?" Sean asked wading through thick foliage before coming across a seemingly empty cave. "Perfect it's deep, dark, and will shelter me from the elements. Good job, Sean, this will totally make Applejack choke on her words." He said with confidence before setting up the tent he had grabbed from Twilight's closet along with a pillow, blanket, and bedroll.
After an hour or two Sean finished setting up and crawled into the small cramped tent, he shuffled around before getting comfortable and laid back letting out a deep sigh. "Well, then I can just sit back and relax before hunting for food." He said as he dozed off. Meanwhile, outside the cave a group of small black ponies with green eyes, tattered wings, and sharp fangs found Sean's cave and out of curiosity investigated the only light source from the cave, A small fire outside Sean's tent gently danced and flickered in the cave almost as if enticing the creatures inside.
"You two, go, and inform our Queen that there is something she will want to see. We will work on getting whatever's in that cave out." The creatures said to each other as they broke off and headed into the deep cave Searching for the fire.
"This is all my fault, I shouldn't have skipped the history of this forest, if did then maybe Sean wouldn't have wandered off." Twilight said worried that she may never see Sean again. It was at this moment that Twilight realized a familiar fear was building up inside her. The fear of failure: if Sean were to die not only would she have failed Sean but more importantly she would have failed Celestia. Another feeling made its way in whenever she would now mention Sean but she couldn't place this feeling was it love, Hate, Worry, or maybe something deeper? Twilight wasn't completely sure but she knew that her and her friends needed to get Sean back safely.
"What is a human? Why do you bring me this information?" The tall lanky black mare said as she stepped down from her throne. Her eyes were an emerald green, her hair was long and blue and hung in her face perfectly, the wings that were once whole and beautiful where now green and tattered like her body, her svelte black frame curved perfectly around her legs.
"A human is a creature that hasn't been seen in Equestria for thousands of years, they served under Princess-- gah!" The creature was interrupted by a sharp blast of magic that slammed him against the wall.
"I know that part, you idiots, why do you think I would care about an extinct species?" The mare said angrily as the drones shivered in fear.
"H-He is alive, and more importantly his equipment bares the same Cutie Mark as Princess Twilight Sparkle." He said as as she turned to him and smirked walking over to the window that from a distance could reveal the caves location thanks to green lights the other creatures places at it's entrance.
"Hmmm, he is a friend of twilights is he?" She laughs maniacally. "Well then I guess I'll go pay him a visit. Tell me, does he know what a changeling is?" She asked as her minion walks up next to her and smiles. Her mind flooded with the memories of Twilight ruining the Royal Wedding and stopping her from taking over Ponyville.
"He was stupid enough to set up camp in our Territory so no he has no idea." He said as she smiled and left her hive and teleported to the cave entrance.
"Time to see what we are working with." She said as she put on a lost and helpless face as she walked through the cave crying loud enough to wake Sean. The cries echoed through the cave as Sean slowly sat up looking around his tent. Something about the cry registered a primal fear he had never felt before, yet it also elicited a feeling of sorrow as if he were hearing the wails of a distressed child. Sean steadied his nerves and put his fear aside before climbing out of the tent and begin walking towards the source of the pained cries. “Who’s there!?” Sean yelled as he light a nearby piece of would to use as a makeshift torch. As he wandered through the cave he came across a black mare roughly around Celestia’s size crying in a corner. Worried Sean Immediately ran over to the mare and crouched beside her. “Miss are you ok? You’re not hurt are you?” He asked helping her to her hooves. Sean took off his coat and placed it around her as the mare blushed slightly. “Come with me, I have a small camp not far from here I can give you food and water before helping you.” Sean said as the mare nodded and began walking alongside him as she flashed a evil smile.
In the distance a small rabbit watched the entire scene and began rushing away from the cave. The rabbit scurried quickly before reaching Fluttershy as Twilight and her friends arrived at the forest, the rabbit quickly hopped up and whispered into Fluttershy’s ear as she gasped in horror.
“Oh no, this isn’t good. Girls, Sean ran into Queen Chrysalis and she is in the cave with him.” Fluttershy said as everyone’s eyes grew wide with fear. Despite their constant victories against Chrysalis they knew that Sean wouldn’t be so lucky, they knew that Chrysalis would strike and kill Sean the moment he let down his guard. Twilight knew that time was of the essence and the more they stood around, the closer Sean was to certain doom and Twilight wasn’t about to let that happen...
“So, you got lost in the woods while looking for your sister?” Sean asked as he set a plate of fresh cooked vegetables in front of his guest. She smiled and began to eat while keeping her eyes fixed on Sean, Chrysalis was from a race of creatures that could take the shape of any living thing to trick her prey but instead of eating the victim they drain them of their love and energy. The result is a dry wrinkled husk of what was once a living creature.
“Yes, I saw her enter the forest but never come out. I fear she may have fallen victim to the myths of this forest.” Chrysalis said with a smirk as Sean paused and looked at her with curiosity.
“What myths?” Sean asked as Chrysalis began to laugh and throw off the coat Sean placed around her letting her wings stretch out and her fangs show. Scared, Sean jolts up and scurries towards the wall of the cave.
“My, you humans are so easy to trick-- all you need is a sob story and you melt like ice in the hot sun. Now, then times for introductions Sean.” She said as his eyes shot open with shock. “What, you thought I didn’t know who you were? I have changelings all over Equestria spying for me, I know everything about you right down to the fact that you bunk with Ms. Twilight Sparkle, my sworn enemy, not to mention how loyal you are to Princess Celestia. Honestly your allegiance is impressive so I’ll give you two options. Either join me, Queen Chrysalis in my hive and allow me to drain you of your love and compassion making me stronger, or resist me and I’ll kill you and that little welp Twilight.” Chrysalis said as Sean kept a close eye on her while he mulled over her offers thinking back to Applejack's words from the day prior. Sean clenched his fist and stepped forward condemning all other thoughts from his mind. Sean didn’t want to betray Twilight or Princess Celestia but he knew that if he wanted to live long enough to be reunited with her and her friends, he would have to accept her offer.
“How would you harvest me, and will it kill me?” He asked as a devilish smile began to stretch across Chrysalis's black muzzle. She reveled in the circumstance that a human was so willing to surrender to her without her even having to break a sweat.
“It’s simple; Twice a day I will require your stored love and stamina to keep me healthy. It will be harvested orally and once harvested you're free to do what you want inside the hive but try and contact anyone to get them to rescue you and I’ll kill you without hesitation. Now then, shall we begin the harvest? After all, I need to recharge before we go.” She said with a seductive smirk and half-lidded eyes, Sean gulped and nodded before she used her magic to knock him unconscious. Sean's body was laid out on the ground as Chrysalis leaned down and began nuzzling his crotch.
“Good...he is like other ponies in this aspect. Let’s just hope he can match a stallion.” She said as she used her magic to undo his button and zipper. She bit her lower lip before slowly sliding down his pants and underwear and enveloping his shaft in her magic. She leaned in and gave it a slow lick from base to tip as it hardened and throbbed, mesmerized by the girth and taste she quickly wrapped her muzzle around the head and began to gently suck before lifting up her head. “He may not be as big as a stallion, but he tastes so much sweeter.” She said licking her lips before diving down & swallowing every inch. Satisfied, she began to bob her head and suck as she used her hooves to gently nudge his balls. Chrysalis bobbed her head faster twisting it and letting her long tongue caress the underside of his shaft. She moved his finger in and out of her wet slit while bobbing faster letting out soft moans. Fingers where a foreign concept to her and Chrysalis found herself melting under the feeling of his fingers inside her. Twilight's worry had been building up and growing ever since Fluttershy gave her the news, she knew Sean wouldn’t stand a chance should Chrysalis try and attack him. A tear escaped from Twilight's eye as she stopped and froze up. The consequences of failure tormented Twilight as she shook her head and quickly caught up with her friends.
Meanwhile, Chrysalis laid on her back pumping her slit with Sean's fingers faster before letting out a loud moan and cumming onto the cave floor. After a few hours of running the girls finally arrived at the cave scared at what would be waiting for them they swallowed their fear and charged into the cave. As they searched the floor and walls they came across a large burnt circle on the ground with a trail of blood leading to it. Worried Twilight ran ahead before finding Sean's camp and by his tent where his glasses broken and mangled. Twilight slowly sat down thinking she was too late to save Sean, she looked down at the ground as tears once again fell to the ground, and this time soft sobs followed as her friends slowly walked up behind her. As they looked down at the glass a wave of grief fell across each one of the five friends.
Applejack felt worse than anyone, as it was her careless words that caused Sean to run off.
“Girls, search the camp for clues on what happened here.” Twilight said, fighting back tears as she slowly walked into the tent Sean was using and searched lazily. Rarity went back to the burn in the ground and scanned it closely before she gasped and ran back to the others. “Girls, Sean might still be alive! See, the burn we saw back there was from someone using a teleport spell. I remember reading about the spell in one of Twilight's books. Sean may be alive and being held captive by Chrysalis.” She said as the girls breathed a sigh of relief but Twilight still had a look of grief on her face. The girls gathered around her and hugged her tight. “Don’t worry, Twilight, we will get Sean back safely. All we have to do is try and find her hive. Then, we will rescue him--we Pinkie Promise.” Rarity said as the girls smiled and began to leave the cave. Their goal had become clear; they had to find Chrysalis and her Hive, defeat her, and save Sean. The six ponies trekked deeper into the forest watching carefully for a hint or something to link them to the hive.
Meanwhile, back in the hive, Sean had just recently regained consciousness in a weird room accented with black and green decor and an overwhelming sense of fear. As he scanned the room Chrysalis came walking in once again wearing a sultry look on her face. After the escapade in the cave it was obvious to Sean what she had meant by “Harvesting his love” and the sudden realization of that both frightened and for some odd reason sent a relaxing feeling through his body.
“Hello my little pet, normally I’d let you rest for a few more hours, but after the incident in the caves...” Chrysalis climbs on the bed standing over Sean. “I want to harvest you some more, but this time I want you to participate.” She said before lowering her plot onto his crotch and gently grinding against him. “Be lucky, human, as you're the first person to...b-be able to personally quell my d-desires.” Chrysalis said stuttering slightly from the sensation beneath her. “Oh, Sean, quickly... please tame your new queen... Meanwhile, Twilight, and the others were walking down a path that seemed to go on for hours before they finally heard Sean’s voice in the distance. The girls smiled as they began charging for the source of the voice after what seems like minutes Sean turned to see Twilight, the second her eyes locked on Sean she charged at a rapid pace and tackled him to the ground hugging him tightly and nuzzling him. “Sean, thank Celestia you're ok! We found your glasses and blood near the campsite and got so worried.” Twilight said as Sean wrapped his arms around her in a comforting hug and rubbed the back of her head. Twilight smiled and nuzzled into his neck, ecstatic that her friend was unharmed. Sean stood up as Twilight jumped own and began walking away with Sean and her friends.
“So, how did you guys manage to find the cave I was…” Sean’s voice was suddenly cut off as a sharp black horn pierced his back and impaling his chest.
“Gah...fuck…” He said as Twilight turned around and with a look of horror she screamed as Chrysalis ripped her horn out of his chest. Sean’s eyes met Twilight's as his body collapsed to the ground. Twilight let out a horrified scream, prompting everyone to turn around and immediately take a fighting stance and sneer angrily.
“I told you the alternative was death, you lousy human; you should’ve stayed my pet so I wouldn’t kill you in front of your friends. Such a shame I had to do it too, harvesting you was fun, like toying with humans.” Chrysalis said as Twilight looked at Sean with teary eyes before looking at Chrysalis and scowling angrily.
“Fluttershy, I want you and Rainbow Dash to take Sean to Princess Celestia. Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, we’re fighting Chrysalis then escaping.” Twilight said as the girls nodded and whisked Sean away quickly as the ponies stared down Chrysalis before attacking her.
“Holy cow, he is a heavy one.” Rainbow Dash said as Fluttershy nodded and supported Sean's other side.
“Poor Sean, I hope he’ll be ok, if we lose him Twilight will be devastated, not to mention Applejack considering this was all her fault to begin with.” Fluttershy said as she and Rainbow Dash doubled their speed as they went straight for Twilight's Castle. As Sean hung from between the two ponies his mind while still in a fuzzy haze began to recap his entire life, and as he went through his childhood a warm sensation began to run through his veins, surprisingly this was the same feeling he got whenever he would lock eyes with Twilight. As the girls reached the castle one last memory played out in front of Sean, almost as if it was a reality he felt the ocean breeze and could hear children laughing in the distance, as he turned his head he saw a sight he thought he would never see again. Standing on the edge of the water was a boy who looked strangely like Sean. As the boy walked deeper into the water Sean charged after him screaming for the boy to come back, Sean soon found himself catching up to the little boy but just as Sean reached out for the boy a large wave engulfed them both.
Sean opened his eyes slowly to find himself lying against the same tree Twilight found him lying under, this caused Sean to become confused as he was unconscious when Twilight found him, he then remembered the story Twilight told him about where he was and how he got to the castle. However, before anything else could be made clear Sean jolts awake screaming loudly in fear as Princess Celestia rested her head on his shoulder and held onto him.
“Sean, it’s ok; you were in danger, but now you’re back in Twilight's Castle, safe and sound.” She said as Sean slowly calmed down and gripped his chest. As his fingers gripped his skin he could feel a large hole in his chest with several tubes coming from it. Confused, he looked down and gasped. Without skipping a beat Celestia quickly explained what had happened.
“Sean, I have good news and bad news; The good news is that Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy got you here just in time, but the bad news is that when Chrysalis stabbed you she pierced your heart and since you're a human, your heart is smaller than most ponies. This means that there simply wasn’t enough of your heart to save. So in short these tubes are the only thing keeping you alive until we can figure out human physiology. So, I’ve instructed my sister and Rarity to take care of you until you can recover, once you recover we will send you to another world as you will be banished from Equestria.” Celestia said as she coldly left the room causing a loud silence to fill the room, Sean thought about what she said and kept focusing on the fact he would be going home.
“Princess wait, why am I the one being punished so severely when you said it yourself--I am a fledgling and know nothing about this world. How is any of this my fault?” Sean asked, worried only for Twilight and how she will take this news. Celestia turned to him and spoke clearly and in a monotone voice.
“Because you don’t belong here; you act like a petulant child and disobeyed an order from Twilight, She warned you about the dangers of our world and you let your pride as a human sway your thinking and it nearly cost you your life. I could never allow such a reckless creature to live among us ponies. My word is final and once you recover, my word will be to banish you to another world.” Celestia said as she walked away and down the hall. She wore an evil smile as her eyes flashed green before she climbed into her carriage and ushered her servants off. “Too easy Celestia, it’s amazing what lengths you will stoop to when the fate of your precious Twilight hangs in the balance.” Chrysalis said with an evil laugh as Rarity and Luna's eyes also flashed green as they watched from Sean’s window.
As Sean laid back trying to once again fight back tears, a thought crossed his mind: not once did Celestia mention Twilight, which was odd for her, but he chalked it up to her being angry at him for putting the Elements in danger. However, something in the back of his mind didn’t feel right, but he was in no shape to fight it or even get out of bed. Sean let out a long, depressed sigh as he closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
Meanwhile, in a cave below Canterlot Castle, Celestia, Twilight, and her friends were chained up in a cell as they looked around with a worried look on their faces.
“We have to think of something, girls. Sean must be saved before something bad happens to him.” Celestia said weakly rising to her hooves.
“You mean worse than being impaled and being banished to another world without knowing we’re here?” Pinkie said as the others put hooves to their faces and sighed. “I mean what if they banish him somewhere nice like the world you went to Twilight, its populated by creatures that look just like Sean?” Pimkie continued to say as the others looked at her with a look of disdain.
“Pinkie, while we appreciate your optimism, please…shut up.” Twilight said in an angry tone as she traced a plan in the dirt with her hoof. If she hadn’t said something, I doubt anyone would've.
“Now, hold on Twi, ya can’t just take your anger out on poor Pinkie; after all it’s your fault we lost. If you didn’t have feelings for Sean than Chrysalis never would have used it against you and we would have won.” Applejack said as Twilight froze up and tears began to swell in her eyes.
“Girls that's enough! If we just sit here and argue, not only is Sean as good as dead, but that means that Rainbow and Fluttershy will also be in danger. Without a doubt, Chrysalis has replaced everyone with Changelings, including me and since the population already hates Sean, she won’t have an issue turning them against him, especially when she has my form at her disposal.” Celestia said as Twilight stomped her hoof into the ground with vigor.
“That's it! Princess, can you get a letter to Sean?” Twilight asked as Celestia looked at her confused.
“Yes, but the ponies will never listen to Sean, especially if he says their leader is a fraud--which would just give them a reason to upgrade his banishment to an execution.” Celestia said as Twilight shook her head and showed them the dirt blueprint.
“No, we send a message directly to him explaining everything, then we tell him about the mirror to the other world. We tell him what to do and once he is there to find a man named Radiant Symphony. We tell him to give the same note to Radiant and ask for his help. Sunset says that the Twilight of that world is just as intelligent as me and has access to different technology. She could also help Sean. This means we can work on overthrowing Chrysalis without Sean getting hurt not only that but if he likes that world enough…”
Twilight stops and begins to cry. “He can stay there, where people will accept him right away.” She says as Celestia smiles and hugs her tightly rubbing her back with her hoof.
“Twilight, that is a wonderful idea and if Sean can execute it then he will be in your debt. However, tears are not needed, Twilight. If he cares for you as much as you do for him, he will choose you over a world where he fits in. I’ve seen you two together, there is a love there all you two have to do is nurture it so it will grow. Sure you won’t find love in the way your brother found Cadence, but love is a mystery not even Starswirl himself could figure out.” Celestia said as everyone came in for a group hug.
“Awww, now that's just adorable it almost make me cry that you think your puny plan will work. I made sure Sean would be too weak to move thanks to a toxin I have being pumped into him, once I’ve drained him to a shriveled husk, I’ll activate the toxin and kill him. Then I’ll go pay Radiant a visit and take him out too. That way no one will be able to stop me as i rule Equestria with an iron hoof.” Chrysalis said before letting out an evil laugh and blasting Celestia against the wall severely wounding her.
“Ah... that look of pain on your faces is so satisfying, oh, and Twilight, I think I’ll force you to watch when I drain your boyfriend of all his energy, but for now I’ll leave you all down here to lament on your defeat. Ta-ta.” Chrysalis said before disappearing with a poof of dark smoke. Twilight and the others rushed over to Celestia as she groaned before sitting up.
“Twilight, send that note now and tell Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to rip those tubes out of Sean and replace it with this.” Celestia said as she began to conjure a green stone in the shape of a shamrock surrounded by piles of bits.
“Once placed into his chest, it will send magic through his body and keep him alive. Have them tell him he is the Element of Good Fortune and he is our last hope, for after this I will have used all my magic and will disappear forever.” Celestia said with tears in her eyes as she looked into Twilight's eyes that soon began to fill with tears.
“Twilight, once this is over I’ll entrust you and Sean to run the kingdom.” She said as her body began to fade away into dust, from her ashes rose the stone and the note explaining what Sean had to do. Twilight fell to the ground crying as the others joined around her sharing the moment of sadness. Twilight wiped her eyes as she used her magic to poof the note and stone to Rainbow Dash.
Meanwhile, back in Canterlot Castle, Rainbow and Fluttershy were busy helping Sean bathe as the note fell on the floor in front of them. Curious, Rainbow goes over and picks up the note and begins to read. She crumples the paper angrily and picks up the stone and walks over to Sean. She bites his tubes and angrily rips them out before punching the stone into his chest. Rainbow moved so quickly that Sean didn’t have time to react before he began to groan and writhe in pain before his eyes became enveloped in a pink magic and his body twisted and contorted as a shamrock and bits appeared on his stomach. He gasped and began to breathe heavily looking at Rainbow and Fluttershy.
“What the hell did you do to me, Rainbow--” Before he could finish Rainbow Dash decked him as hard as she could.
“I didn’t do anything, but you better be lucky that you're our only hope.” Rainbow yelled, misplacing her anger at Sean instead of Chrysalis.
“What the hell are you talking about, Rainbow?” Sean asked as Fluttershy whipped blood from his lip.
“Apparently, Twilight and her friends were captured by Chrysalis and the Celestia and Rarity that are here are Chrysalis and one of her little bugs. Celestia used the last of her power to make you the element of Good Fortune at the cost of her own life. Now Twilight wants you to use your new powers to find the purple mirror in Celestia's chambers, go to the world inside the mirror, find an old friend named Radiant Symphony and get him to ready you to take Equestria back and avenge Celestia.” Rainbow Dash said as guards broke down the doors.
“Oh no, they must have heard your yelling! Hurry, Sean, get dressed!” Fluttershy said as the guards busted in and grabbed Fluttershy and Rainbow. Angered, Sean pointed at the two armor-clad ponies.
“Release them now!” Sean yelled. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot from his hand nailing the guards in their chests, killing them instantly. “What the hell did I just do?” Sean asked startled by his new power.
“Looks like my sister entrusted you with her life force.” Luna said, walking into the bathroom as Sean quickly got dressed. “I heard everything--come with me and I’ll get you to that mirror.” She said as the three of them nodded and stormed out of the room. As they ran down the halls, Sean used his crazy new powers to wipe out anyone trying to stop them, and after what seemed like hours of running, Sean and the others found the mirror and barred the door closed as guards began slamming into the doors. “Look, I don't have time to go into details, but Celestia put her life energy and magic into the stone inside you and made you the seventh Element of Harmony. Go through the mirror and find Radiant! We will be fine!” Luna said before kicking Sean into the mirror as the doors burst open and the three fought off the armored ponies. Sean found himself spinning through a crazy vortex before being thrown onto a grassy yard outside a High School.
Sean looked around, confused as he saw human versions of the same ponies he saw in Ponyville. “Where the hell am I?” he said as he looked at the sign on the building. “Canterlot High School?”
Sean stood up, dusting himself off before walking into the school and looking around him. “This is so surreal, I wonder if there is a Twilight in this world to. I mean there has to be all around me are human counterparts of ponies I’ve seen back home, even their skin tone is the same.” He said to himself as he saw a girl with a leather jacket and red hair, accented with yellow streaks. Curious, he walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder. “Excuse me, I’m Sean and I was wondering if you could help me find someone by the name of Radiant.” Sean said as the girl turned around to reveal soft blue eyes and a warm smile.
“My name’s Sunset Shimmer and I’d love to help but why Radiant?” She asks as Sean looks around before pulling her into a nearby janitor's closet.
“What the hell are you doing?” She asked annoyed as Sean used his magic to float a ball of light above them before handing her the note.
“I was sent here to find him and ask him for his help, Chrysalis has taken over equestria and imprisoned Twilight and the other elements, not to mention Celestia died turning me into the seventh element.” Sean said rapidly as Sunset put her hand on his mouth.
“Ok, I get it...just start from the very beginning.” She said as Sean went into details as he explained everything that happened starting with how he got to equestria. After several minutes of talking Sunset cut him off and began to speak.
“I can’t believe Celestia's actually dead and she entrusted all her power to a human.” She said before opening the door and walking out with Sean. “Look this is gonna sound weird but come to this address immediately after school, I have a few things I need to get ready.” She said as Sean nodded and turned to leave the school before bumping into a girl with glasses. He picks up her glasses and apologizes before handing them to the girl and locking eyes with her.
“T-Twilight?” Sean asked as Twilight blushed slightly once her eyes met his face.
“Y-Yes, who are you?” Twilight said as Sean felt himself die a little on the inside before quickly thinking of a way to fix things.
“Name’s Sean...Sean Shamrock. I’m new to this school and people around the school said I should meet you.” He said with a nervous laugh as Twilight blushed and curled one of her side bangs around her finger.
“Well, it’s nice to meet you, Sean and I’d love to hang out some more, but I have to go meet my friend Sunset, she said it’s important but meet me out front of the school tomorrow and you can treat me to coffee.” She said with a smile before running off.
“Huh...she’s like Twilight, yet different. Anyway, I guess I have to find a place to stay while I’m here.” Sean said before being tackled by a blur of bright pink.
“Hi there, are you new? You have to be cause I know everyone here and I’ve never seen you before so you must be new and if that's the case hi there my name is...” Sean put his finger against her lips to stop her hyperactive onslaught of words.
“Your name’s Pinkie Pie.” Sean said in a monotone voice as the aforementioned party animal hopped up and gasped and smiled.
“Oh my god, are you psychic?” Pinkie asked as Sean felt his brain slowly shut down from the ridiculousness of the statement before realizing where he was and what happened prior to coming here. “No, just call it a lucky guess.” Sean said as Pinkie giggled and lifted him to his feet.
“Well, I heard you need a place to stay while you’re attending school here, so if you want you can stay with me. I have a two bedroom house and no one for the second room. So, long as you don’t mind parties, and working then you're free to stay.” She said as Sean gave her smile and nodded.
“Sounds good to me, when can I move in?” He asked as she jumped up and down excited.
“Later, but now it’s lunchtime let’s go get some food at the local cafe!” She said taking Sean's hand and yanking him as she ran out of the school and threw him in her car before hopping in and speeding off. Sean had a big task ahead of him, one that would mean certain death for everyone he care about if he were to fail, but for now he will have to take things one day at a time.
Sean laid in bed later that night staring at the ceiling, his mind still burning with the scars of what happened back in Equestria. His stomach kicked his heart repeatedly whenever the thought of Twilight being locked in a dungeon came into his mind. Sean looked out the window next to him as tears began to fill his eyes, and without skipping a beat he began to sob uncontrollably. As Pinkie walked down the hall with some food for Sean she heard the crying and slowly opening the door.
“Sean, everything ok in here?” Pinkie asked trying to be calm and quiet so that she didn’t wake the others. Sean quickly saw her and tried drying his eyes and speaking through a choked voice.
“Huh? Oh yeah, don’t worry Pinkie I’m just fine.” Sean said trying to keep his composure and stop crying, he failed miserably as his voice was shaky and a pink tint covered the white of his eyes.
“Sean, you don’t have to lie; if you need to talk, I’m here.” She said walking over and sitting on the bed next to him and holding him closely.
“Now, tell Pinkie what's troubling you and don’t leave anything out.” She said, stroking his back as Sean took a deep breath and took in Pinkie’s relaxing scent. Each person in this world was a carbon copy of the ponies in Equestria yet there are little differences here and there. While Sean didn’t get enough time to get to know the other ponies in depth he secretly hoped they were close to their Human counterparts. Pinkie’s mother goose instincts when comforting someone helped Sean think with a clear head as he began to tell his story. As Pinkie listened she too began to tear up slightly at the story almost as if she were watching the memories on a big movie screen.
“Sean, you silly, you're in love with the other Twilight, you had me thinking something scary or bad was troubling you.” She said as Sean raised his head up and frowned.
“I’m not finished with the story yet Pinkie, but believe me I wish it ended happily there. Not only that but how can I be in love, Pinkie? I barely knew Twilight, not to mention the others. Apart from taking care of me and reading with her, I know nothing about what makes her tick.” Pinkie sighed, looking down at him and smiled.
“Sean, you're from a world similar to this one minus the pastel skinned humans...but that doesn’t change the fact that Fate chooses your destiny before you even know it, you're destined to be with a Twilight. That's what fate chose and it’s up to you to decide which Twilight you will choose.” Pinkie said with a tone that made Sean stop and consider the information he just learned. Sean was a realist back on earth--which is to say, things like fate and love, at first sight, were falsities to him...and now he has a girl with pink skin telling him that fate is, in fact, real and it’s already set out a blueprint for his life. Sean sat up and kissed Pinkie on the cheek.
“Pinkie, thanks for the help. You made my first night here better.” Sean said as Pinkie smiled and climbed on top of him pushing him onto his back. “Pinkie, what are you…” Sean’s sentence was cut off by Pinkie placing her lips on his and kissing him gently. Shocked, Sean widened his eyes but closed them the minute Pinkie's tongue slunk into his mouth. Adagio was first in line, the girls quietly opened the door to see Radiant with a grumpy look on his face. They hadn’t seen Radiant sulk in a long while.
“Radiant what's wrong?” Adagio asked as Radiant rubbed his face holding back carefully guarding his anger.

“A week from today meaning there is not enough time to train Sean...so that means that I’m, I must, fighting this war by myself.” He said standing up as everyone stopped him from leaving.
“Radiant, we can’t do that. Chrysalis will kill you and you’ve already died twice meaning you won’t be in heaven an hour before the devil knows you’re dead the next time you won’t be coming back next time. Radiant, please. Think about your daughters.” Sunset said rubbing her stomach that had already begun to bulge. “I don’t want you to leave don’t go, I’m begging you.” Sunset pleaded as tears filled her eyes. “I don’t wanna lose you again.” She said gripping? “Heh is this all Chrysalis could muster? I’m disappointed in her.” He said as two massive goliath changelings rampaged through the city smashing Radiant into several buildings with the force of a truck or elephant.
“You no hurt mama.” One said smashing its fists together as Radiant climbed out of the rubble and forged his dagger, it was hard not to laugh at a huge changeling that sounded like a child on a helium trip. He slicked his hair back as he dematerialized his scythe before running towards Ponyville. Hoping to find help, praying for assistance to get him through the crucible and into the Canterlot Castle.
Back home Adagio snapped her fingers releasing Sean from his binds as he fell to the ground whining in a fit of rage as tears of anguish seared the helplessness into his mind. Sean then rose to his feet, and before he could speak Adagio punched him sending him rolling down the stairs. He lied to you, when the two of you fought he was only using a small fraction of his power. “Shut up! You know nothing about me. I have an Element of Harmony inside me, it’s the one thing that can kill someone as powerful as Radiant.” Sean said as Adagio kicked him into a wall.

Now, you still wanna tell me about how useful you think you will be to Radiant?” Adagio asked. Her old self came quickly rushing back, now that she faced the high chance of losing the one thing she had left in life that was like a father figure to her. Not to mention the haunting truth that if she didn’t keep Sean from leaving then she would end up losing the man she had developed deep feelings for. “You're pathetic Sean, accept your weakness and embrace it.” She said before kicking him again and storming off slamming the door. Adagio then walked through the streets as rain began to fall in sprinkles while thunder boomed in the distance.
“I can’t lose them both...losing one is devastating. But, losing them both means I’ll be all alone in this world, Radant please come back unharmed.” Adagio said softly crying as her sisters joined her and rubbed her back to comfort her as the three sisters needed each other than ever before.
“Sean, stand up and grab that armor you use for training.” Sunset said as Sean stood up and spit blood onto the ground, he nodded and went into the back room pulling on the armor Radiant had crafted to withstand blows from the Siren himself. “Adagio said you need the other elements of harmony to activate your own, to achieve full power, and thankfully all of us have the elements within us. So, we will loan you the power on the condition that you bring Radiant back unharmed.” She said as Sean nodded and bowed on one knee to the girls as they ponied up and blasted Sean with all the magic they could spare. As the multi colored beams of light hit Sean he felt the stone in his heart activate causing green light to burst from his eyes and mouth. Sea rose and clenched his fist as he opened a portal to Equestria and walked through. “Tell Adagio and Twilight I’m sorry.” He said disappearing into the portal.
“Time to show those Sirens what a human can do.” He said jumping through the portal and landing in Equestria several seconds later. As he rose Sean was greeted to the sight of broken and burning buildings. Guts, blood, and corpses littered the ground in artistic piles signifying the exact route Radiant took. Without wasting any time, Sean charged after the trail hoping to catch up with Radiant. Sean ran for hours admiring the glorious yet awful work Radiant had accomplished in such a short time.
“My Queen, we have two intruders from another world one with gray skin and another with tan skin.” A drone said as Chrysalis smiled arose from her throne and smiled and laughed in an evil tone.
“So, my little plaything Sean has returned, and it seems he brought Radiant with him., Finally, I’ll be able to kill the one man who refused me and the man with the power to stop me. Drones! Ready my armor, if they want a fight then we will give it to them.” She said as her drones fitted her in black chain-mail with green accented armor. Radiant slinked through the halls easily and sliced willy-nilly as more changelings fell to his blades with the greatest of ease. Radiant hadn’t fought in years, but the feeling of slaughtering weak creatures caused a side of himself to surface that hadn’t been around since the siren’s Barrister killed his sisters. Radiant licked the blood from the blades and headed towards the castle.
Sean continued to follow the trail of visceral destruction left by Radiant as stragglers began to swarm Sean. Without warning six sickle shaped thorns pierced Sean's body. Yet, instead of pain he felt a surge of power surge within him and with a loud scream he created a small shockwave disintegrating the changelings around him that released a hellish boom that exploded outward. Both Sean and Chrysalis heard the crowning moment of awesome and could feel the hairs on the back of their necks stand up. As Sean panted with exhaustion, he felt his wounds heal before continuing to advance. At first feeling a new sensation that he had never felt before.
“Did you girls hear that explosion?” Pinkie said as she looked out the small window of the dungeon. “Wait, doesn't Sean have green magic?” She asked as the girls looked at her confused.
“Well, his element of harmony is green. So, Adagio, I guess.” Rainbow answered in a sardonic tone as Pinkie smiled seeing small flashes of yellow magic.
“OK girls, I don’t want to alarm anyone. But, it appears both Radiant and Sean are coming.” Pinkie said as the girls rushed to the window and smiled as they saw the flashes of green and yellow magic.
“He did it he actually did it, we're gonna be rescued!” Rarity screamed in joy as the girls all hugged and jumped around.
“Aww, well isn't that cute? The six prisoners actually think they will survive. Guards! Chain them up and escort them to the guillotine. Their execution has been moved up to today.” Chrysalis said with an evil smile as the guards chained the girls up. The girls tried to fight back but where to weak from insufficient sustenance and were easily escorted outside. Sean finally caught up with Radiant who was fighting six goliaths at once and still losing. Sean leaped into action as he slid on the ichor of slain enemies, using a broken wing he nearly tripped over like a skateboard and ripped two of the goliaths in half. “C’mon old man try and keep up!” He crowed as Radiant smirked playfully and laughed.
“I should have known Sunset would try to send help for me. That's the reason I’m not dying here just, yet so I can prove her wrong.” He said tapping into his remaining reserves of power before slicing through their enemies. The two warriors then looked at each other and nodded before rushing towards the castle with the speed of wild horses. As the two stalwart rogue’s ‘ approached the castle, they synchronized their powers and burst through the gates, entering the courtyard to find a crowd of people around a raised wooden platform, they pushed through the crowd people looked at them with shock and awe; Probably because they were both humans and covered in the blood of a thousand changelings. Still, They managed to reach the front of the crowd as they looked on in mute shock at the unspeakable horrors before them.
On the platform stood all six of the elements chained up as Twilight was the first one placed under the blade of the guillotine. Sean stepped forward as Radiant stood behind him, as the blade dropped Sean blinked, teleported really, towards it smashing the blade with a punch and breaking the girls chains. This action caused a blast of magic to ping Sean sending him flying as Chrysalis glided down and landed in front of the two men. “Well, isn’t this just sweet. The knights in shining armor come to die on the soil they once claimed their own.” She said as Sean stood up drawing his sword from thin air prompting radiant to pull dual blades from the air as he readied for battle.
“Chrysalis, this ends now. With either with your head on a pike or with Twilight taking Celestia's place as Queen.” He said as the two dashed and began to fight as Chrysalis kicked and deflected their hits with her wings, hooves, and horn causing Sean and Radiant to double their efforts keeping her on her hooves as Twilight and her friends watched on in amazement.
Radiant and Sean let their rage mix and flow through them as they began to push Chrysalis back causing the queen to sneer and blast both of them away. Sean then jumped up and charged as Chrysalis disappeared. Rematerializing behind Sean she lunged at him with her horn. Radiant rushed forward and slid between her legs as he pushed Sean out of his way taking Chrysalis’s horn directly to his chest as his blood splashed Sean’s face, Chrysalis then lifted Radiant and launched him onto the castle tower with a massive blast of magic. The air fell silent as the tower roof crumbled under his weight seemingly crushing Radiant and the tower all at once. Sean looked on in shock as he stood up and began laughing maniacally. “Now, you fucked up Chrysalis that was my master you just killed.” Sean said as he let out a demonic scream channeling Radiant’s powers as multiple blades began to float around him. “See this Chrysalis, this is what happens when the Elements of both worlds course through my body. I am now twice as powerful as Radiant, and three times more powerful than Celestia So, let’s do this!” Sean said as he charged towards Chrysalis attacking like a quick and aggressive beast.
Locked in a heated battle, the two traded blow after blow. The more damage Sean took the angrier he became allowing his power to grow. Sean had finally felt alive as he was able to prove everyone wrong and not only defeat Chrysalis but avenge Radiant in the process. Chrysalis and Sean landed on equal ground panting heavily as Sean spit blood from his mouth and smirked. “I’m impressed Sean this new upgrade of yours actually makes you a challenge, and here I was thinking Radiant would be the one to put up a decent fight.” Chrysalis said as Sean readied his stance again as he drew two swords like Radiant.
“Stop holding back and fight me with everything you have so killing you will be more rewarding.” Sean yelled as Chrysalis laughed and began to engulf herself in magic as she began to transform into a massive Chimera the size of Tirek causing ponies to run for their lives as Sean jumped into the air and began attacking the monstrous Chrysalis. As Sean and Chrysalis clashed Twilight and her friends rushed to assist Radiant, the girls arrived and used what strength they had to move the rubble away from Radiant. Sean and Chrysalis began to show signs of exhaustion.
Chrysalis began to sweat as Sean spun and cut off her wing causing her to spin out of the air and transform back into her old form before crashing into the ground with a loud crash creating a small wave of dust. Sean grinned sadistically and dove towards the ground ramming the blade through Chrysalis’s chest causing her to scream out in pain as blood shot out and splashed Sean's face. “Checkmate bug bitch this will teach you to kill my friends and threaten my family.” Sean said ripping the sword out and swinging at her neck. The blade becomes enveloped in Radiant’s yellow magic and stops at her neck.
“Sean don’t sink to her level it’s over and you are the victor.” Radiant said limping towards them holding a stump that used to be his right arm and an eye socket that was bloody and empty. “I know you want to kill her but Sean listen when I tell you this, I’ve killed thousands and it turned me into the cynical man I am today. I don't wanna see you go down the same road I did especially if my sister is in love with you.” Radiant said as Sean let go of the blade and looked at Radiant confused.
“What are you talking about?” Sean asked as radiant put his good hand on Sean’s shoulder and smiled.
“Adagio is in love with you but she was jealous cause she knows of your feelings for Twilight and didn’t wanna confess it to you out of fear of rejection.” Radiant said as he stabbed a stone into Chrysalis as she was sucked inside and sealed away. “I’ll be entrusting this crystal to you Twilight...my bad Princess Twilight.” Radiant said as Twilight walked up and hugged Sean tightly crying happily.
“I’m so glad you came back for us, we thought for sure we were doomed but what's this about Twilight and Adagio loving you?” Twilight asked confused and hurt.
“While I was training this human Twilight fell in love with me and I loved her back because she is basically you but human, the Adagio thing I didn't know about thought.” Sean looked at everyone and smiled. “Twilight I love you but i have to leave this world.” Sean said as Twilight shook her head and began crying more.
“Why do you have to go... I love you and wanna be with you.” Twilight said balling like a filly as sean hugged her tightly as she buried her face into his neck and cried. Sean smiled and leaned down rubbing her head and kissing her softly.
“Twilight I love you and would love to say in Equestria but all this happened because I didn’t listen to you about the Everfree Forest... Chrysalis... Celestia...the destruction was all due to me so for Equestria's safety I’m going back to the mirror world. I’m sorry Twilight but this is goodbye...forever.” He said kissing her head and opening the portal fireman carrying Radiant over his shoulder. “Goodbye Equestria, I’ll miss you Twilight but this isn’t a permanent goodbye. I’ll see you all again I promise so be strong and don’t give no matter what, and if you need me twilight you have the book you used to talk to Radiant. Good Luck Princess and I love you.” He said as the portal closed and the two wounded warriors fell into the living room as everyone screamed and rushed to their aid. Sean lifts Radiant up as he stood beaten and bloody. “See I told you I would bring him back safely...just not in one piece.” Sean said as Applejack and Rainbow laid Radiant out as Twilight began working on his injuries.
Twilight fell to the ground crying into her hooves as the other came to comfort her as Ponyville and Equestria lie in ruins but Twilight rose up and sniffed wiping her tears with her wing. “I can’t believe it’s over...all that planning...the future we had...all gone because he blames himself for something that was my fault. C’mon girls let's start getting ponies to help with the clean up.” She said walking away as the others followed except Applejack and Rarity. The two girls stared at the immense destruction around them before following the others. “Poor Twi...but was ah the only one that thought Sean made a good point?” “ I Mean he did cause all of this.” Applejack said as Rarity drug her hoof across her neck signaling her to shut up. Applejack sighed as the six girls walked into the distance to begin rebuilding their home under the new rule of Princess Twilight Sparkle.
Adagio and her sisters returned to the house to see a severely wounded radiant and a banged up Sean. He smiled as Sunset took back the girls power as Sean collapsed to the ground. Without the magic his body was for more exhausted than he could handle. Adagio walked over and held him in her arms crying.
“You fool I told you not to go what if you had gotten hurt or…” Adagio's eyes widened as Sean leaned up with what strength he had and kissed her gently.
“I’ll be okay after I rest but why didn’t you just say you loved me, Twilight, and I already agreed that if we found a third person to make us happy we would have a special wedding.” he said caressing her cheek as she smiled and nuzzled his hand.
“Does that mean?” Sean smiled and cut her off with another kiss.
“Yes Adagio it means that you me and Twilight can all be together, but for now can someone help me to my bed... I need to rest.” Sean said as Adagio helped him to his ed upstairs and joined him as she cuddled up close to him.
Several months went by and Sean and Radiant made a speedy recovery, Twilight even hooked Radiant up with a cybernetic eye and arm and her and Adagio went dress shopping with Rarity to prepare for their special day. Finally, life had returned to normal and with Sean now in the mix Radiant was happy to see Adagio happy with someone who he knew would care for her and protect her. Sure Sean was still green behind the ears but with nothing but time on their hands Radiant could now properly train Sean. Radiant smiled at the thought of having a new pupil to train now that his sisters are finished with his training.
The next week flew by as today was the big day, Sean waited at the altar nervous as Rainbow and Applejack winked at him and gave a thumbs up for support. He smiled as the doors opened and music began to softly play, Adagio, and twilight walked down the aisle holding hands and wearing matching gowns as they smiled and joined Sean at the altar. The priest stepped forward and opened a book smiling.
“We are gathered here today to witness the holy joining of these three souls that fate itself destined to join long before they even became friends, the groom will now read his vow.” The priest said gesturing to Sean as she cleared his throat.
“Adagio over past few months we have gotten to know each other on a level I never thought was possible between us, I love you for past and your flaws and I love you even more for your perfections. So Adagio let this ring symbolize the love I have for you that beats for you.” Sean said as Spike ran up to the altar with the rings. “Thanks little buddy.” He said as Spike winked and sat in front of the three of them. Sean smiled and slid the ring onto Adagios finger as she smiled and winked at him as he turned to Twilight. “Twilight the same goes for you, at the beginning of this relationship I fell for you for reasons I shouldn’t have and the past few months have made love the real you between your brains and your compassion you always make life exciting and with the two of you by my side we will be inseparable.” He said siding the ring onto Twilight's finger as she smiled and blushed.
“Such a loving vow now ladies I understand you both wrote on vow so please recite it.” The priest said as twilight and Adagio looked at each other and nodded. The girls dropped the piece of paper and both kissed Radiant on both sides of his cheeks causing the crowd to ooh and awe over the scene.
“Well then I guess its stupid to ask as I van see the answers your young eyes but we must be traditional, Sean do you take Twilight Sparkle and Adagio Dazzle to be your wives through sickness and health, till death do you part?” The priest asked as Sean nodded and smiled.
“I do.” He replied taking each of their hands.
Adagio and Twilight do you take Sean to be your husband through sickness and health, till death do you part?” The priest asked as the girls smiled and pulled back their veils.
“We do.” The two said at the same time as the priest nodded and the three shared one awkward kiss before taking each other hand in hand before walking out of the chapel and into a limo as it drove off into the horizon, everyone walked out of the church waving goodbye as Sunset smiled and held onto Radiant.
“Think they will enjoy their honeymoon?” Sunset asked as Radiant rubbed her pregnant belly and smiled.
“Ya I think it’s safe to say that we may have grand kids by year's end.” Radiant said as Sunset blushed and kissed his cheek before everyone headed inside for the after party.
