A pregnant Rainbow Dash enjoys some short time with her fellow fecund friends.

There's been something of an explosion in motherhood at Canterlot High recently, and Rainbow Dash is one of many new moms-to-be at the school. Fortunately, she doesn't seem to mind, and neither do her friends.

Rated M for sexual themes.

Canterlot High School was, by all accounts, a prestigious institution of education. Its students often went to great places after they were finished with school. In fact, among its alumni, the school boasted no fewer than eight international CEOs and five senators, all of whom said that they owed it all to the top-notch education they had received there.

Unfortunately, the school had become strapped for funds in recent years, with more and more money going towards repairs and psychological counselling after attacks first by a massive demon girl, and then by a trio of sea creatures who fed off of negative emotions. The money being poured into that had meant funds had to be diverted from somewhere... and that somewhere happened to be the one area in which Canterlot High's syllabus was now seriously lacking; sex education.

Without any formal education on matters related to sex and reproduction, the students of the school were often left to work it out on their own. This more often than not resulted in knowledge on the matter that was... subpar, to say the least.

"Pregnant? Nah," Pinkie Pie reassured her friend Rainbow Dash. "It was your first time, Dashie! Nobody gets pregnant after their first time!"

"We did it standing up, Bonnie," Lyra told her friend, rolling her eyes. "You can't get pregnant if you do it standing up. Not the first time, anyway."

"Of course he pulled out!" Vinyl said, sounding offended. "What, you thought he wasn't a gentleman? He knows how to treat a girl right."

All of this misinformation could only ever have ended one way. Canterlot High was about to get a new reputation... having one of the highest rates of motherhood per student for any school in the country.

Rainbow Dash sighed as she leaned back in her desk, Cheerilee's droning the merest background noise in her ears. She scratched her prismatic hairstyle with one hand, the other moving below the desk and gently stroking her taut, round tummy as if it were a genie's magic lantern. She was rewarded by her soon-to-be sons wriggling and kicking within her womb, a pair of bulges appearing from under her cyan skin and moving down, settling around her popped navel. She bit her lip to suppress a giggle, knowing it would lead to an earful from the teacher.

"Can't get pregnant the first time, eh, Pinkie?" she mumbled to herself, recalling the advice her friend had given her just about eight months prior. "Yeah, load of BS."

At least she was far from the only one. At the last count, over sixty percent of Canterlot High's female student body were with child. Looking around the classroom revealed no shortage of ripe, fertile bellies squeezed into their desks, ranging anywhere from five to eight months along. Some of the more modest ones, like Fluttershy, had taken to wearing looser maternity-type clothing to hide their tummies—others, like Rainbow and Vinyl, had their round, full wombs on proud display. The majority, it seemed, were looking forward to becoming moms, which was fortunate.

Cheerilee paused to catch her breath. The moms-to-be in her class had not received any lectures from her on the subject, other than some muttering about how she "knew cutting sex-ed would lead to this." Perhaps Cheerilee realised that she couldn't very well lecture her students on taking care of their bodies without looking like a hypocrite when she herself was morbidly obese. Her own huge gut hung out of her blouse whenever she faced the class, as she did now.

"Okay, kids," she said. "That about wraps things up for..."

The shrill ring of the school bell cut her off.

"...for today," she finished, smiling. "Have a great weekend, everyone!"

There was a general murmur and commotion as kids got their things together, Dash among them. She groaned, placing a hand on her back as she stood up. In recent weeks, her sons had decided that they wanted nothing more than to get up nice and close with their mamma's spine. Oh, the joys of motherhood...

"Hey, Dash!" Sunset Shimmer said beside her, grinning. "TGIF, huh?"

"You can say that again," Dash nodded. "Got any plans?"

"Well... my immediate plans are to take some weight off my feet from carrying these two," Sunset replied, cradling her own exposed, ready-to-pop belly. "You?"

"Mind if I join you?" Dash asked.

"Course not!" Sunset put an arm around her. "Come on, let's blow this dump."

Dash nodded, waddling awkwardly after her friend, her flip-flopped feet placking against the tiled floor. Sneakers had gone out of fashion among the girls as they grew heavier and shoes grew more uncomfortable. Sandals and flip-flops were the new order of the day, with a few girls deciding to go barefoot. The pregnant girls could be seen huddled in little groups in the corridors, chatting and giggling as they compared bumps and busts with each other.

Once they had left the schoolhouse proper, Sunset led Dash across the front courtyard and across the street to the large park. The park was a popular hangout for students after school, whether it be to compare homework notes, or to warm your gravid stomach while relaxing for a bit.

"Still can't believe my luck getting twins," Sunset remarked, placing two hands on her tummy as they entered the park. "Never guessed I'd be that fertile." She shook her head. "And there I was thinking that you couldn't get pregnant on your period. Sure proved me wrong, huh?"

"Twins? Pfft," came a voice from beside them. "Try triplets."

The source of the voice was an ivory-skinned girl with electric-blue hair who looked just about ready to burst, her belly filled to the brim with triplets who were due in a week at most. Vinyl Scratch had taken off her shirt and lay in her black frilled bra instead, her big, fertile bump and milky breasts out for the world to see. Her shirt lay under her head, serving as an impromptu pillow. "You girls wanna join me?"

"Sure!" Dash grunted with relief as she flopped down beside her, Sunset following suit. "Man, that feels good."

"Heavy loads to carry," Vinyl agreed, rubbing at the stretch marks on the underside of her stomach. "Especially when there's three of them."

"Or two," Dash added.

"The level of fecundity in this school is amazing," Sunset commented. "I think I can count the girls having just one kid on the fingers of one hand. Some of them are having quads, for crying out loud!"

"Must be something in the water," Dash guessed, pulling off her own shirt to expose her maternity bra. She let out a low mmmmmm as she stretched out, wiggling her toes in pleasure.

"Hopefully the heat from the sun will calm these two down," she said, smiling as she traced a finger around her navel. "I'm guessing I have two soccer players in the making brewing in here."

"Mine have been pretty calm, but I've still gained about fifty pounds," Vinyl grimaced.

"Hey, being a bit tubby isn't the end of the world," Sunset grinned. "Just look at Cheerilee."

The trio shared a good laugh over that, before lapsing into silence.

"...You girls looking forward to being moms?" Dash asked.

"You know what?" Vinyl said thoughtfully, tracing a finger around her belly button. "I think I am. Sure, I was really freaked about it at first, obviously. I mean, I couldn't exactly see myself as being a mommy. But now that everything's been sorted out, I think it's gonna be a blast."

"Same h-" Dash yelped as her kids really started to jump. "Wh-whoa! Guys, calm down!"

Sunset burst out laughing at the spectacle, clutching her ribs with mirth. "Oh God, Dash, it looks like you've got a pair of weasels in there!"

"Dang..." Dash panted, as her progeny finally settled down. "Let me tell you, I am not going to miss that." She paused, stroking her bump idly. "But yeah, I know what you mean, Vinyl. I bet my boys are gonna be the awesomest out of them all!" she added, puffing her chest with pride.

"There's the Dash we know and love," Sunset grinned, Vinyl laughing alongside them.

The three young moms-to-be whiled away the afternoon chatting, laughing and enjoying each other's company. They may have been young, but the maternal spirit of those girls was clearly alive and well.
