When Starlight goes missing, it's up to Twilight to find her, but can she?
Twilight Sparkle was just teaching her new pupil when the mare goes missing after Twilight asks her to take a break! Worried and angry, Twilight goes to Princess Celestia in a panic only for Princess Celestia to tell her that Starlight was kidnapped! But, by who? Who would do such a thing? (Contains TwiGlimmer)
Twilight Sparkle was listening to Starlight Glimmer's report of her friendship lessons. "I helped Pinkie Pie bake a cake and it sure was messy. I was shocked when Pinkie offered to teach me how to bake. That was the last friendship lesson you gave me, Twilight." Starlight's nervous voice made Twilight only happier and a lot more willing to protect the now shy-like mare.
"That's great, Starlight. Now, you're learning. I'm really proud of you, you know that?" Twilight asked Starlight. Starlight smiled at the praise.
"Yes, I do know that." Starlight was happy that Twilight was happy. She didn't expect that Twilight would be so willing to listen to her friendship lessons since Starlight tends to babble when speaking about certain things and friendship lessons were one of the things. Starlight was watching Twilight as the purple mare was looking through the friendship lessons.
"Well, Starlight, you've done most of the friendship lessons. Do you want to read with me or take a break now?" Twilight asked. Starlight smiled at the thought of reading with Twilight.
"I'll read with you and then take a break." Starlight says, blushing a bit. Twilight didn't notice the blush and she smiled.
"Of course, my dear student. Come along, Starlight." Twilight gently orders. Starlight nodded and she followed Twilight around the castle and to the library. When they got in the library, Twilight looked around the large room and she looked at Starlight. Starlight then shifted nervously. She's still nervous around me. I wonder why. Twilight thought. Starlight was trying not to whimper as she felt her heart beating really fast.
Oh, sweet Celestia! I have a crush on my mentor and friend! Ooh, she's gonna hate me if I tell her my feelings. Starlight thought. Starlight had a crush on Twilight Sparkle. She wondered if it was because Twilight was protective of her or the fact that Twilight playfully teases her by being a bit...seductive. They actually almost kissed once because of a Truth or Dare game with their other friends. However, Twilight backed down because she didn't want to take Starlight's first kiss away from her. Starlight was glad that they weren't humans because she was sure that Twilight would've been rough with her as a human. Starlight enjoyed being in Twilight's company and Twilight enjoyed Starlight's company. Starlight was pretty sure that Twilight didn't like her in that way. However, unknown to her, Twilight DID like Starlight back. Twilight just didn't want to reveal her feelings for the mare because she was scared that some of her enemies would hurt Starlight.
I wish I could tell Starlight, but what if somepony bad gets to her. What then? If somepony hurts Starlight, I'll kill them and that's a promise. Twilight Sparkle thought. Twilight was serious. She didn't want any harm to come to Starlight.
"Uh,Twilight, are you okay?" Starlight was worried about Twilight. She was spacing out. When Twilight finally realized what she was doing, she snapped back into reality. She offered Starlight an soft smile.
"Sorry. I was just worried about something." She tells Starlight. The pink mare noticed the slight tone change in Twilight's voice, so she dropped the subject. "Anyway, what do you want to read?" Twilight asked Starlight. Starlight blushed as she tried not to think about Twilight loving her. Damn it! Ugh, she's my mentor! Starlight thought. Twilight smiled at Starlight getting flustered.
"Whatever you want to read?" Starlight answered, though it was more of a question than an answer. Twilight giggled. Her horn glowed as she looked for a book that Starlight could enjoy with her. She smiled an teeth smile when she found what she was looking for.
"Let's read 'Romeocolt and Julianmare'" Twilight suggested. Starlight blushed. She had only read the first chapter of the book, but Starlight thought that reading it with Twilight would be fun.
"Sure!" Starlight says, getting close to Twilight. Twilight's wing shifted to wrap Starlight in a protective hold so that Starlight would be comfortable. As they read, they were being watched by an unknown enemy. Twilight didn't detect them due to being focused on her book, but the evil figure knew all about Twilight. They knew her weaknesses, her friends, her love for a certain mare, etc. They wanted Princess Twilight to suffer for what she had done to them.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle, you will pay." The figure whispered. Starlight felt that somepony was watching her and she looked outside the window to see...nopony? That was strange. It felt like somepony was watching me for some reason. Starlight thought. Twilight had felt Starlight move and she looked outside as well. There was nopony outside the window.
"It was probably just your imagination. Now, that break will come after your nap, right Starlight?" Twilight gently asked, since she knew that Starlight was tired. Starlight yawned. She smiled at Twilight.
"Yes, that sounds wonderful." Starlight agreed. So, she laid down in the library floor and she went to sleep, napping. Twilight did the same, but not before checking if it was safe. When she determined that it was safe, that was when Twilight took a nap alongside Starlight. The evil figure didn't know Starlight, but they knew that Twilight was protective of the mare.
"Hahahahaha. Twilight, you've fallen in love with a mare. This will only make my mission easier. I will use that mare against you and I will kill you by my hand. You should have died when I struck you all those times ago, but you did not die. You will die soon. I promise you that, Twilight." The evil and dark figure says, chuckling to itself.
As Starlight napped, Twilight was watching her. Spike had saw Twilight's warm gaze towards the mare and he smiled. The dragon walked up to Twilight and he greeted her. "Hey, Twilight." Spike says, quietly. Twilight looked at her assistant and she smiled back.
"Hey, Spike. Are you done with your duties for today?" Twilight asked. Spike nodded his head.
"Yeah, I am. By the way, Twilight, when are you going to confess to Starlight?" Spike's question shocked Twilight so much, she thought that she was going to scream, but she didn't.
"What are you talking about Spike?" Twilight asked the dragon with a nervous voice. Spike rolled his eyes.
"I can see that you like and may even love her, Twilight. You do protect her a lot." Spike says, smiling.
"That's because she's my student. As her teacher, it's my duty to keep her safe." Twilight tells Spike. Spike then realized that Twilight was worried about something.
"You're not worried about your enemies coming after her, are you? I know you better than that, Twilight. You're strong." Spike tells Twilight. Twilight was smiling on the outside, but on the inside, she was worrying. Yes, I know that! But, my enemies are ruthless! If they even find out about Starlight, I'll freak! She had thought. Twilight looked at Starlight and she saw Starlight looking very peaceful and quiet. She's so cute. Twilight thought. Spike smiled at the loving gaze Twilight had for Starlight.
"You're right, Spike. I am strong, but love makes me stronger." Twilight tells Spike. Spike nodded his head. Good! She admitted that she loves Starlight. He thought happily. Twilight then realizes that she had confessed to Spike about her feelings. Darn it. He made me confess to him. She had thought. But, she wasn't mad like she thought she would have been. In fact, Twilight felt happy that she had finally told someone about her feelings for Starlight. "You've planned for me to tell you, didn't you?" Twilight asked the little dragon. Spike smiled at Twilight.
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Who knows?" Spike tells Twilight. The purple pony just sighed at her baby dragon assistant.
"You need friends your own age, Spike." Twilight tells Spike as the baby dragon got sleepy. Twilight put Spike down for his nap and she looked at Starlight, who was still sleeping. Twilight decided to lay down with Starlight to protect her from nightmares that may come to her. Twilight wrapped one wing around her student and she smiled a small smile as she fell asleep with her student. I swear no harm will come to Starlight. Not when I'm alive and well. Twilight thought.
The dark figure from before was still watching Starlight Glimmer and she was pleased with what she had found out. Starlight Glimmer was a reformed villain and she had a crippling mentality that makes her defenseless. The evil creature chuckled darkly as she thought about her plan. As she thought about her plan, she wondered whether to kill Starlight, but then she thought against it. Starlight never wronged her, but Twilight did. She was going to use Starlight as bait to reel Twilight in. She chuckled again as she pictured her victory over Twilight Sparkle. However, she knew that her greatest challenge was trying to take Starlight. Twilight already acted overprotective, so she would have to be very smart and careful in her plan to take Starlight Glimmer. She left the two mares alone for today. No one knew that she was even there. She was like a shadow, coming and going of her own free will.
Twilight woke up first as she felt an evil presence, but when the evil presence disappeared, Twilight wouldn't help but to investigate. Spike woke up and he guarded Starlight without Twilight telling him to. Even though he was just a baby dragon, Spike was protective of Starlight. He was just a bit more protective of Rarity, the mare of his dreams. Twilight knew somepony was there even if they had quickly left in a hurry. "The only pony I know that moves like that is Nightmare Moon, but Luna is still Luna, so how-!" A crash from outside alerted Twilight and she went outside of the castle.
When she went outside, she saw Princess Celestia. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"Luna's dark side has escaped. Nightmare Moon is her own pony now!" Princess Celestia tells Twilight. Twilight gasped at this and while she was preoccupied with Princess Celestia, Nightmare Moon was taking Starlight away from the mare. Starlight was still asleep, so she didn't know that she was being kidnapped. When Nightmare Moon got to her very old hideout castle, she placed Starlight on the cold ground and the mare shivered.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle, I will have my revenge." Nightmare Moon says threateningly as she stared at the sleeping Starlight.
