Seeing A Friend
Fluttershy was feeding her animals one day. It was a slow day for her which she always enjoyed as she didn't need to help Twilight or anypony else with anything. Plus she wasn't confident around other ponies like her other friends were but she was glad that her friends understood that. She decided that she should go out for a walk as it was a very beautiful day outside in Ponyville. The weather was very nice.
She knew that she was shy but she needed fresh air and plus she always stayed cooped up in her cottage which wasn't healthy for her as it wasn't healthy for anypony. She decided that she should get a damn grip and go out and be more confident as she had poor social skills. That didn't matter though as long as she got to see Twilight then she didn't care.
When she got done feeding her animals she went back inside her house as she wanted to make sure that all of her animals were fed and that her place looked clean enough. She also wanted to make sure that all of her stuff was put away. As soon as she made sure that her place was clean and that her stuff was put away and her animals were fed she said goodbye to Angel and then left her place by walking out the front door.
While she was walking she decided to go see Twilight and she thought that if she flew instead of walked there it would be a shorter trip. She doesn't really like to fly as much as Rainbow Dash but she decided to do it anyway as she didn't want to walk all day and tire herself out by walking pointlessly to someplace that she could fly to to save herself time and energy.
She started to fly to Twilight's library. She realized that she was getting there a lot quicker because she was flying there plus if she walked on her legs all the way there plus she would wear her legs out as well. She decided that this was better than her usual method of going to places. But she wasn't going to use this method all the time as it was her least favorite method.
She wondered if Twilight wouldn't mind seeing her. She was hoping that Twilight wouldn't start shoving literature to her to read as Twilight had problems socializing as well. She giggled as she was glad that she wasn't the only one that was awkward when talking to other ponies.
As she flew to Twilight's library she saw ponies on the ground walking through the the town as they worked on bushes or delivered mail and or served other ponies food. She hadn't realized before how busy it was in Ponyville. She shrugged it off and continued to Twilight's.
While she was flying there she heard somepony shout her name from above she looked down and saw that it was Twilight. She flew down and then landed on the ground and then walked over to Twilight in the hopes that Twilight wouldn't act awkward.
"Hi Fluttershy would you like to come walk with me or do something?" Twilight asked. Fluttershy hoped that doing something didn't entail reading books or getting a lecture because she had those before from Twilight so she didn't speak immediately but realized she had to speak as it was the only way to stop Twilight.
"We're not going to read any books right? Please don't tell me you'll lecture me on history either." Fluttershy stated. Twilight blushed in embarrassment as she realized at Fluttershy was right. She took a deep breath and responded to Fluttershy about her concern.
"No I won't. We can do whatever you want to do I don't mind. I know I have problems around other ponies as I can be rude by trying to hand out books or lecture ponies. I can't help it you know. I have a few problems that I'm to afraid to admit but I know I should admit them more." Twilight stated.
"Nah that's okay. Let's just talk about anything except books or go somewhere. I don't mind where we go as long as it's fun but not to fast for me you know?" Fluttershy said. Twilight nodded as she knew exactly what Fluttershy meant. Fluttershy then decided to bring up something she saw in Twilight's room.
"You know that if you have your Celestia plushy to close to the window that ponies are able to gawk at it and think that you are strange. I'm just putting it out there so you know." Fluttershy told Twilight. Fluttershy looked at Twilight and saw that Twilight was blushing. Twilight then rolled her eyes but smiled and Fluttershy giggled
"Your right Fluttershy i should be more careful with my stuff." Twilight said rolling her eyes. Fluttershy laughed. They both switched to better topics about how Fluttershy's animals were doing and how Twilight was doing. They both reached Twilight's library and they continued to talk about certain topics.
They both had a few drinks of water and then they walked back to Fluttershy's cottage. Once Fluttershy and Twilight got back to the cottage Fluttershy turned around and smiled at Twilight. Twilight smiled back.
"Thanks for hanging out with me I really appreciated it thanks for not talking so much about books." Flutterhsy said. Twilight smiled and giggled. She then responded to Fluttershy.
"Your welcome I hope you had a good day." Twilight said.
"I did. I'll see you again soon Twilight." Fluttershy said. Twilight nodded and left. Fluttershy shut her door and realized that it was good that she got out and got fresh air. She decided that she would do that more often.
