A special power that gave her a fate that dwells in her heart....

"They say she can do anything anypony could imagine!"
"Love...she says, is the key..."
Derpy hears the whispers all around her about her power, yes it was true her power had something to do with love...but didn't do anything you can imagine..
No, it gave one special power... One even Celestia herself couldn't match!
She always gave her best to make everyone happy with her spell, her spell that also had left her in deep despair for years.
Out by the sunny side meadow, there was Derpy laying there dreaming about herself and her father eating muffins..her favorite! Chocolate chip layered with caramel frosting! Just thinking about it made her hungry. She woke up, starving, she went to Sugar Cube Corner. They always had her favorite! When she got there she saw Diamond Tiara standing there ording a dish of fancy pastries. Scared, Derpy tried to find her way past Diamond Tiara but she had spotted Derpy right behind the counter.
"Hey! Derps-A-Lot! Try a PASTRIE!!" Diamond then mushed Derpy's face with a donut right when Doctor Whooves walked in. Seeing his daughter get pushed around like that he walked up to Diamond and Derpy.
Diamond recognized the doctor, it was the doctor treating her mother which had a heart surgery getting through with. Once she realized who it was, she put her hand down from the pastry acting innocent.
Doctor Whooves gave a stern look to Diamond, who was gaping in awe, not used to seeing A doctor out of the hospital. Whooves then turned to Derpy, wiped the donut off, and gave her a kiss. "Are you ok Derpy?" He asked looking into his daughters beutifully steady eyes.
"I'm fine dad...thanks to you!" She replied back giving a sweet smile.
Doctor Whooves looked back to Diamond. "Young Diamond...go home now! I shall not have you treat my daughter in such a rude manner!" He snapped at her growling in anger.
Diamond Tiara just ran quickly in a flash after that comment. Rushing home in awe and really frightened. Whooves hugged Derpy and took her home.
Derpy hugged back almost starting to cry. "Dad...you're always there when I need you...."
Whooves turned to Derpy and chuckled a tiny bit. "Yes I am Derpy...yes i am...."
As they settled back home, Doctor Whooves decided to watch some news.
Once he turned the tv on, the news had already started. He decided to watch it for the rest of the hour.
On the tv was the news man and cops talking about what happened.
"The Killers...they just ESCAPED!" The police stallion was frightened.
The news person was traumatized. "Who...who exactly should we look out for?" He stuttered.
"They are...are p-ponys with b-black suits! O-one pony's gray the other's b-blue! They kill teens and older children mostly!"
Whooves was frightened as well. He called for Derpy.
Derpy came down to his father."Yes daddy?"
Doctor Whooves was rushing. "L-Lock ALL the doors! And WINDOWS! Stuff up the chimney!"
Derpy was scared. "Why?"
Doctor Whooves didn't want to tell him about the killers..he would run away!"Ummm....PARASPRITES! They're back! We don't want them eating our home now do we?!"
Derpy stuffed up the chimney and locked all doors and windows.
Whooves just thought and thought. "THE KILLERS ARE ON THE LOOSE!!"
Derpy was really scared. 'How could it be a parasprite infestation? Locking all doors and closing up the chimney! That's NOT something you do for parasprites!' She thought wondering if her father had lied to her.
Doctor Whooves was panicking, rushing to every single window to close the curtains. As he closed the last curtain, he heard a knock on the door.
BANG! BANG!
Oh no! They were here! "Derpy. Be. Quiet.." Whooves whispered to Derpy.
Derpy just nodded and looked toward the front door, wondering who it was.
BANG! BANG!
There it was again! Doctor Whooves heard whispers of two ponys outside the door.
"Are you SURE they're here! We don't have ALL day! We need more ponys to kill"
The other sighed. "I know! I know! Let's just burst down the door!"
His partner nodded.
Quickly, they heard a huge BANG at the door. Doctor Whooves told Derpy to go to her room.
Staring at her father on the ground, Derpy knew no one would care about his death. So she decided to bury him herself.
She grabbed the shovel dragging her father on the ground and went to the back of her small house.
Digging up the dirt she realized there was still some blood on her hoof. She tried to wipe it away, but it wouldn't budge.
She realized the blood must've gotten into her skin somehow.
Suddenly, a bright light shone. It was her father.
"Daddy?"
The bright spirit just smiled and patted her on the shoulder, he then finally spoke.
"Derpy, my blood in your hoof is special...it has a special life in it, a special power! With this special power you can do things I used to do your age....you can save life's, you can bring ponys BACK to life! Just not me....I'm the one who gave you that power. And if you bring ME back to life, you would no longer have your power! So use it on somepony else. You can make anyone be together, even if they don't know each other, so that they can LOVE each other! And lastly, you can use that love to get yourself a special somepony, or even use the love from me to bring happiness! To make a better world! So use your power wisely...."
Whooves then flashed away.
Derpy was surprised. She had a special power!
Happily, she went to try it out.
She saw Berrypunch and SourBerry next to each other. What a PERFECT match! She then used her spell to make them fall in love.
She then saw SourBerry ask BerryPunch out! It WORKS!
Derpy was really depressed though....the thought of bringing her father back to life was amazing but, she'd lose her powers....she decided to go home and rest on the couch.
When Derpy fell asleep on the couch she had a wonderful dream.
A dream where she brought her dad back to life but lost her powers. She was still happy.
"Derpy, what do you say for a muffin?" Doctor Whooves asked.
"MUFFINS!" She shouted in glee.
They both laughed in agreement and left to Sugar Cube Corner.
Soon, her dream had been over and decided to watch tv.
Once she watched about a minute she was bored and depressed.
Derpy was all so used to watching tv with her father....
She decided to go out back to his grave.
"I miss you daddy..." She cried a single tear. As it landed on the ground it soaked up some dirt.
That's when Derpy decided to try and bring her father to life. She didn't care about any stupid powers.
She concentrated and looked at the grave. The dirty started getting dug out. When the body parts lifted out, the head reattached to his body. She also put all the blood and skin back on him.
As she worked on bringing him to life she thought about all the fun times they had before her daddy died. She cried tears that formed red...she was concentrating too hard. Her heart pounded her muscles tightened and once she was tired out, Doctor Whooves was alive again.
BAM!
Derpy fell to the ground crying bloodied tears, when she saw her father she smiled a weak smile. ".....D-Daddy......"
She coughed up some blood. "I missed you......"
Doctor Whooves smiled a sad smile. "I missed you too..."
