What if Princess Luna/Nightmare moon did escape without Princess Celestia knowing... as a young pure-bred Alicorn, Cosmic Star learns the secrets of the past bearers of the Elements of Harmony and its history of its powerful magic of Friendship and its Peace and Harmony of Equestria. With the help of friends, she discovers her destiny of an Alicorn and the bears the Elements before the Sun and Moon War.

Canterlot, a city that landmarks the kingdom in all of Equestria and the great Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Sun. Within the throne room, just walking in to see her in person is a beige alicorn, with white and rose pink loose-flowing mane and tail, bows down to the Princess in throne.
"Cosmic Star," the Princess calls the little alicorn.
The mare rises up and smiles with glee, "My Princess, you have called me here?"
Celestia walked down from her throne and walked to Cosmic star, "Yes, how is your studies in Magic going?"
"Well, good, Princess." Cosmic replies with little confidence, "Its just...um, I was kind of wondering about studying about something else."
"Like what, Cosmo." The Princess asked,
"Look I studied so much on Magic and I've been using it well, but-"
"You do realize that you still have a lot to learn, Cosmic Star. Yet your still not ready to know about them, until the right time." Celestia cut off Cosmic Star.
Cosmic Star sighed, "Yes, my Princess. Its just, since...with you and Princess Luna. I-I.."
Celestia looked at Cosmic star as she was upset, but she lifted her chin up, "Yes, my sister is the best aunt you could ever have, but times we change, not only she could've give the forgiveness she needed..she would be still be here." Cosmic Star understood as she turns holding her tears and looks at Celestia like a mother to her.
Celestia sigh in relief, "Cosmic Star...If you do want to know more about them. Come with me, let me tell you a little about the Elements, but the rest you must learn by your own self."
"Yes, Princess." Cosmic Star replied as the two walked down the hallway outside of the throne room.
Meanwhile, faraway from the Kingdom of Equestria, on the top hills of Everfree Forest ,and into the cavern seeks the Harmony Tree; Cosmic Star looks around in amazement as above the Elements from the tree stands tall. As Celestia tells the story,
1000 years ago, Equestria as we remember was cold, dark, place overpowered by Chaos. All of the ponies lived in fear in the hands of the Spirit named Discord. Fortunately, a bright light has appeared as me and my sister tamed Discord with the most powerful gems known as the Elements of Harmony. After he was stoned, we gifted our dear subjects with the Sun of Day and the Moon of Night. Harmony and peace cleansed Equestria to its fullest until Luna's jealously and hatred turned...our lives..
Princess Celestia suddenly stops as a silent sob as Cosmic Star felt the same pain with Celestia's heart, "Princess?"
Celestia stopped sobbing as she came to her senses and looked at Cosmic Star, "I'll be alright, why won't we head back to the castle, and get some sleep."
Cosmic Star looked above the small hole of the cave as the stars appeared, "Oh, its late already? Well uh, goodnight then, Princess. Thanks for showing me the Harmony Tree once more."
Cosmic Star trots away leaving the Princess behind as she looked above at the Harmony Tree, and grieved in silence.
Meanwhile in the castle, Cosmic Star watches as the stars sets from the landscape that brighten up the skies with no moon.
Cosmic sighs as she looks at he sky, "I guess its another night without moonshine. I just wish there was some way to see once more, Luna. Although its has been 1000 years," As she felt tired, she heads to her bed and naps, "Maybe a new moon will rise anytime soon."
While peeking through the door, Princess Celestia sigh in relief and closed the door slowly as she heads out in to her throne.
Cosmic Star, levitating as many as 30 to 50 books as she researches; heavily sighs reading every book she picked. " I can't find anything...mm..no.."
Coming in the royal library, Princess Celestia walks in next to Cosmic Star, "Cosmo, there you are," Cosmic Star shockingly jumps and gasps as she never thought the Princess would be here, "P-Princess Celestia! I-I...um...I was studying and uh-"
Princess Celestia lifts up a book that Cosmic Star has around her, "I haven't seen you this morning which came to wonder where you could have gone to, so what have you been doing researching, Cosmo."
Cosmic Star nervously smiles to confront to the Princess at the wrong time, "Just Magic, like you told me,"
"About The Reign of Terror: Nightmare Moon kind of magic," Princess Celestia suspiciously asks. Cosmic Star blushed red knowing she can't lie, "Yes...I just-just wanting to find a way to bring Luna back."
"Cosmo, Luna would never be willing to return. Not for another 1000 years to come after her banishment to the moon."
Cosmic Star talked to Princess Celestia almost like pleading, "But what if there is a way to bring her back? What if the Elements of Harmony can release her from the moon so that she can see you again, or maybe she is released just never heard anything about it. I mean, there hasn't been a moon since her banishment, something must of happened."
Princess Celestia thought about Cosmic Star's determination with Luna , but disappointingly sighs, "This will never concern me nor you, you should know that Luna is gone for good. We're finish talking about this, head back to your dorm!"
Cosmic Star was shocked by her words as she almost started to cry, but she held it back and walks away from Celestia in disgrace, "Well, if I can't talk about it anymore..then I can't talk to anyone then right, Princess?" Cosmic's shut her eyes as tears comes out slowly, " I just want a happy life with the two best mentors." then swiftly Cosmo leaves the library.
"Cosmo, wait-" Princess Celestia called out, but outside of the royal library doors Cosmo disappeared. Celestia turns back to the library to the window and looks above the sunset sky, "Cosmo. I'm sorry,"

Night falls in, Cosmic Star angrily packs up a supply of food, books, but holding up a picture of Celestia, her young self and Luna. As she doubt herself, she hesitated and went to a desk and wrote a note.
She finished her note with a dab, she opened the windows as she spread her wings, "Now to see if Luna is out there somewhere or I need to find some answers of this occurrence." she took off leaving the window wide open as she flies high as away from Canterlot.
Meanwhile, at the Everfree forest, Cosmo landed softly to the ground, she walked and stand the outside of the forest looking at the dark atmosphere of the forest.
Cosmic Star gulped in fear as she stops and looks around, "Whoa, that's a...that's a big forest. Well, here goes nothing, there's no turning back now."
As Cosmic Star walks along the forest, her nervousness starts to fade and calms as it looks peaceful, "This doesn't look bad," she lifts up the map from her bag at her side "Okay...now if I can find the Harmony tree, this should direct me to find answers." Rustling in the bushes figures rushed in.
Cosmic Star gasped, "What was that?...Who's there?," Cosmic walks closer as she looked in the shadows, the howling frightens her and started running. Suddenly, an ambush missed Cosmic Star as she dodge and ran away from the Timber wolves as they came running after her.
Cosmic Star running as fast as she could, gasped as she stopped by the cliffed. "Oh no, this isn't good." standeds back she sees the timber wolves inching in close to her as she tried to jump off to fly out of the cliff, but a giant leap came from the timber wolf and bit her wing.
As Cosmic star screams in pain as she falling down along with the timber wolf. Crashing down into a bush of trees in the darkness
Meanwhile, in Cosmic's room
Princess Celestia opens the door in search for Cosmic star, "Cosmo, are you in here?" Celestia finds a note right at the window, "Hm...what's this-,"
Dear Princess Celestia,
I'm sorry that I kept talking about Luna. All I wanted to know is to help her and you fix things out and being back together again, but realized that you'll just not talk to me about it. So, I've packed and head to my own answers. I'll see you soon with answers or your sister.
Cosmic Star
Shockingly, Princess Celestia finds that Cosmo ran away to find answers she called her royals guards, "Guards!", just as they came in and waits for the Princess's command, "I want a whole kingdom on full alert and protection. For the sake of Equestria." Princess Celestia ordered. The guards ran out to do their duties, as Princess Celestia looks at the opened window, and hopes for Cosmo's safety and return.
Cosmic Star woke up in pain from the free fall. She moans as looks up and around the whole trees from the crash, "...Ah..well, at least I got away...from those wolves," getting up from the crash she felt a sharp pain from one her wings from the bite, "..that stings...Great, I have a injured wing, I'm in the middle of nowhere. Can things get any worse!"
Cosmo sighs, "Ok Cosmo...just..just calm down...this is my mistake of leaving the castle. Now I just need to find help..," hearing more howling again from the distance she gulped, "I hope."
Time passed, Cosmic Star walks as she became exhausted and plotted herself under an old tree that she found,
Cosmic Star looks in her bag, and lifts up in apple and starts eating, "Mm...I've been for what,...hours since I left?" she questioned, turning around to see in the distance the sun comes up as the night ends, "...oh great...morning settles in."
More rustling came from the bushes, but no growls were made."Oh no...not again..." Cosmic prepares her magic, but coming out of the bushes was a Hooded Pegasus. Uncovering himself, he sees Cosmic Star frightened as her magic shines her eyes.
"Oh, I didn't mean to scare you there."Cosmic Star lowers her magic as she looked at his ocean blue eyes, "Uh, that's...that's ok...um-Who are you?" The Pegasus inched in close to Cosmic to introduce himself, "Silver Colt...my name is Silver Colt."
"Then,...names Cosmic Star." Cosmic replied. Silver Colt, surprise to see an Alicorn, "Wow and I thought most ponies aren't suppose to be alicorns, unless...your royal."
"Well I really don't know that I'm royal material, but I was actually a trusted student of Princess Celestia." Cosmic says clearing things up with Silver Colt.
Silver Colt grew concerned, "But, what are you doing in the middle of the forest?" "Well, funny story there was that I-," Cosmic star stopped as she trembled to the grass as the sharp pain came back from her injured wing.
Silver Colt helped her up, " Oh my goodness, are you alright?"
"Yeah, its just injured wing, when running away from those wolves." Cosmic Star says as she held in herself together.
"Timber Wolves!? Here, I know a unicorn that can help you with your wing. We can talk about this later then." Silver Colt says as he and Cosmic Star walked along the path of the forest.
Meanwhile, in the Nursing home
The bandage is magically wrapped in Cosmic Star's injured wing, "There you are, you are all better now," the Nurse unicorn says after finishing bundling Cosmic's wing. ", you shall be be fine as the bandage heals, and in two days, you'll able to fly again."
Cosmic Star thanked the Nurse, "I appreciated the kindness."
Nurse replied back with a friendly smile, "You are very welcome, honey." Walking away from the Nursing home, they both walked to the Castle's gates.
"May I ask you something, Silver Colt?" "You can call me Silver, but sure." Silver Colt replied."Do you know anyone by the name of, Princess Luna?"
Silver Colt answered back, "I do, we have a kingdom around these forbidding parts of the forests."Cosmic Star surprised keeps it cool, "No kidding..."
"Colt!" Some-pony shouted, as they stopped in the middle of the village, "Oh no..." Silver Colt said nervously.
"Who's that coming to us?" Cosmic Star asked as a marooned unicorn with a helmet on showing her sunset eyes cames walking towards them.
Silver Colt says with complete embarrassment, "It my sister."
"Where have you been, Colt, this is the third time you ran of to the woods," the unicorn looks at Cosmic Star, and turns back to Silver Colt, "Who is the Alicorn?" Silver Colt answered to here with control, "Oh um, this is Cosmic Star the Alicorn. Cosmic, this is my sister, Shadow Rose."
"Its nice to meet yo-"Shadow Rose cuts Cosmic Star off, "Yeah, nice to see you, too. What are you here for?"
Silver Colt again replies back to his sister, "Uh, she's here to see the Princess Luna." Cosmic Star nods in agreement.
Shadow Rose didn't care, but walks along in the village, "Follow me I can direct you to Princess Luna," Cosmic and Silver walks leading Shadow rose, but she stops Silver as Cosmic turns from the halt. "As for you...brother. You still have training to do, so get your hooves moving."
Silver Colt gulped, and before trotting away from Shadow Rose and Cosmic Star, he winked and smiles. While Shadow rose takes Cosmic Star to see Princess Luna.
The Throne of Princess Luna,
Shadow rose stops by the door. Cosmic questioned Shadow Rose, "What's the hold up?"
"I'm just going to tell something here, Princess. Where did you come from?" Shadow Rose mildly-scowled.
"Canterlot." Shadow rose eyebrow Cosmic, "Huh, Princess Celestia, right."
Cosmic Star answered with a nod, "Ok, then just wait here." Shadow Rose goes inside the room, while Cosmic Star sits tight nervously, until, "Star Luna, would like to see you, you have two minutes."
Cosmic star walks in, and drops her jaw in surprise to see the navy blu with flowing night skies on her mane and tail as she turned head with beautiful aqua blue eyes.
"You must be Cosmic Star, am I right? I'm so happy to finally see you at last." Luna says with surprise. Cosmic Star hugs Luna, "Princess Luna, I'm so glad to see you again." Luna hugging back wipes the tears from Cosmic'e golden eyes
"So I'm I, but why are you-,"
"I ran away from the castle to see you and try to get you and Celestia back together again, like a family." Cosmo said. Luna questioned, "You ran away, to see me. For Princess Celestia." Cosmic Star asked cautiously, "Yeah. Why is something wrong?"
Luna smile shrinks as Celestia's name returned, "No,...nothing important. Shadow rose!" Shadow rose comes in the throne room standing next to Cosmic, "Yes, my Princess."
"Take Cosmic Star to a guest room please." Luna ordered Shadow Rose.
Shadow rose responded, "Sure thing, Luna." Shadow Rose moved away from Cosmic as she and Shadow Rose started to move to the door. Close to the door, Cosmic stop to says her final words, "If you want to talk to me, I'm always around Luna." then walks out the door with Shadow rose.
Luna talks to herself, as she was alone in the throne, "Will do." Memories returned to her as she remembering the incident with her sister years ago, as the sunsets above the trees.
In the guest room the window of a purple and orange sunset,
Shadow Rose opens the guest dorm-room to Cosmic Star, as entering a small bedroom with a small bed and a mini desk cabinet, "If you need anything just call in the guards, but you should settle for you to return back to where you came from." said Shadow Rose.
Cosmic Star had a thought for Shadow Rose as she curiously asked her, "My I ask you something, Shadow Rose,"
"Within reason?"
"Are you some trusted friend of your or?"
Shadow Rose answered as if she's annoyed about it, "The Princess has me and my brother as a family-like-adoptive relation."
"How so," Cosmic asked with concern. Shadow Rose turned her head to facing away. As Cosmic Star realized the feeling Shadow Rose is going through. "She's like a sister to me. But as loyal to the Princess, I kept this land safe from any foe that comes through here, no matter the cost,"
Cosmic Star was shocked about her determination, but frankly she understood her word. "Though it is starting to get beautiful outside, if you need sleep, sleep while you can." Shadow Rose finished as she walked passed her and out to the door as she closed the door behind her.
"Uh thank you?", Cosmic Star sighs as she put her bag down, and heavily plot herself to the soft bed, as she's gets comfortable.
Cosmic Star sighs, "Man, am I surprise to finally see Luna, but how in Equestria did she? Many questions ran through her head, but she was too tired to make new thoughts about Luna. Cosmic shuts her eyes and snoozes, until the door opens as Silver Colt enters in see the Alicorn sleeps peacefully until she awake as an eye blinks open.
"Hm, Silver Colt. What are you doing here?" Cosmic Star groaned as she stands in bed. Silver Colt didn't answered, but questions her, "You look exhausted," Cosmic Star said roughly "Cause I am." ",but in Luna's kingdom, you can always do other things."
"Maybe, but I need to get back to tell Celestia the news,"
Silver Colt didn't want to say much as he doesn't want to talk about it, but answers her to end the Sister's dilemma, "I don't know, Princess Luna doesn't say much about her sister anymore, like she never existed."
"But why? All I wanted the two sisters to see each other again, for them to be happy. Not like this where they build their boundaries.",Cosmic Star told Silver Colt.
"Its tough. Going out and see the outside world is what I always wanted, but having my sister being traumatized by what happened long time ago. Yeah, its tough." Silver colt says.
Cosmic Star gave sympathy to Silver's wish, "I even feel sorry for the both you, even the ponies here." Silver Colt agrees with Cosmic. They looked at the starry skies at the window. "Its beautiful out there isn't?" Silver says to Cosmic.
"It is, but are you-?" Cosmic Star was cut off as Silver opens the window and jumps up to the opened the window, "Wait! Where are you going, what if you sister finds you?"
"She has night shift right, Cosmic. Now come I'll help you down to a shortcut." Silver Colt urged Cosmic. "Um, okay, but I got it myself." answered Cosmic, as she wielded her magic and they hovered down to the parts of the forest.
Meanwhile, in the forest lane,
Silver Colt and Cosmic Star hovered and walked down a midnight field of opened trees as the fireflies lit up the night sky. Cosmic Star looks around as they got to a large pond, "It sure is beautiful in the woods, its too bad the moon is not here to shine it."
Silver Colt agrees, "Yeah," he looks at Cosmic Star as her horn shines herself with bright white and pink mane and tail, also shining the cutie mark gives him questions to her, "So, were you born an alicorn,"
"Yes, but I have been using more of my Magic then my wings since I was a filly, but being in the castle gave a boost of what I am now." "Well, what about your cutie mark? What is your talent?" Silver Colt says giving her a final question.
"Oh,well, my cutie mark was to mean something, but I don't even know what is I just got it once Celestia picked me as her trusted student."
Silver Colt and Cosmic Star sat down on the cool grass and looked at each other as it was love at first sight. Cosmic smiles and blushed as she kept look at him and away from Silver's face as the sound of a musical waltz starts to sing. Silver Colt stands, walked and turned in front to Cosmic star as he bowed down her and requested her, "Do you wanna...wanna dance with me,...Princess?"
Cosmic Star smiles and got up to accepted his request, "Um, I'm no type of princess, but...I would be delighted." The music continues, they waltz the firefly, starry night sky. As the music fades they stopped gracefully eye-to-eye.
"You waltz gracefully, Cosmic Star," Cosmic Star looked at Silver and thank him, "but you can call me "Cosmo"." "Cosmo", still the same, but beautiful." Cosmo's eye shined and blushed as she looked away her bright blush. Silver smiles, but looks at her injured wing as the bandages are coming off slowly, "Hey, your wing is looking a lot better." Silver says with glee.
Cosmic Star looked back and releases the remaining bandages, and wiggles her wing without the pain. "Well, it healed up quickly." "Sure did." Cosmic says happily. Nervously, Silver looked at Cosmo as she was looking at her healed wing he begged, "Cosmo, please take me with you."
Cosmo was confused, "You live, to Canterlot, to see Princess Celestia. Take me with you." Silver asked again, but Cosmo got worried. "I don't know Silver. The ponies of Canterlot would go on a rampage on you, but-?" cut off as Silver takes her hoove, "Then you'll be protect me by your side, right?"
Cosmo hesitated, as she stared at Silver's calm blue eyes, but she nodded and hugged him. She smiles to feeling the tenderness within him, "Sure, for you, I hope. "
The Next Morning, in the Guest room
As Cosmic Star peacefully sleeps she wakes up seeing Shadow rose next to her. Cosmic Star shrieks as she jumped out of bed, "By Celestial Harmony! What are you-"
"Didn't mean to frighten your beauty sleep "princess", but Luna wanted to see you personally." "For what? Was it something I said earlier? Cosmic Star asked. "Why don't you go over there and find out yourself." Shadow Rose says as she and Cosmic Star walked out of the room and down to the hallway.
As Shadow Rose proceeds Cosmic star in to enter the throne room, Luna stands in the middle with a straight face
"Shut the door." Luna ordered as Shadow looked at the Princess and Cosmo with concern, and closes it on her way out. Cosmic Star turned and questioned the Princess, "Um,...Luna. You want to see me?"
"Yes, Cosmo. Were you there doing anything else other than seeing me, just by curiosity."
Cosmic Star looked nervously at the Princess as a thought she would get into trouble, but Luna looked calm as she approached Cosmo, "I'm not mad, I just wanting to know?"
Cosmic Star mummers at the Princess, "Well, maybe," Luna's impatience break, "Speak up, Cosmo!" Cosmo shouted at the Princess, "Maybe I can take the Elements of Harmony and fix all of this, and have the ponies and you bring y'all back to Canterlot with Princess Celestia! Cosmo took a breath and covers her mouth immediately.
Luna took the truth from Cosmo and stands back from her, "To make me and sister forgive each other is what I lack, during as Nightmare Moon, but," Cosmic Star apologized to her asking for forgiveness, "Luna, I'm sorry...I just want to help you."
"Just because you wanted to help me on my relationship between me and my sister does not consider you, all of that...no one should ever know about what happened all those 1000 years ago! Because you should've have known you were there. You have witnessed my banishment to the moon," Luna scowled at Cosmo as her fury grew.
Cosmic Star walks back as Luna tries to confront her, "Luna, please let me help you two be together, I can't do this without you and Celestia."
Luna shouted at Cosmo as a mixed voice blended and her eyes turned, "Well you should think twice, before coming here," Timidly, Cosmo thought about what she has done, as she starts to cry.
Luna looked at Cosmo as she was sat down before her, "I'm sorry that this hurts you, Cosmo, but bring us back together may take years. But it can not be this way. Guards, get all of the Pegasuses in place, we're going to pay my sister a visit." walks passed Cosmo, Cosmo reacted, "Wait, Luna, please! Don't this! I beg of you."
Luna zaps Cosmic Star, as she trembles on the floor as Cosmo tries to get back up, "Stay out of my way, Cosmo. Maybe getting rid of the one that banished me to the moon could make a perfect revenge, to make us even."
Cosmic Star gets up, ran to the shutting door, but too late to reach the door she tries to open it, but it was sealed by magic, "Luna, please, no, let me out!"
Outside of the doorway two Unicorns guard the doors from Luna's throne trapping Cosmic Star inside. Luna ordered the two unicorns, "Make sure she doesn't come out of the throne and if necessary, trap the windows as well." The guards slowly nodded as Luna felt a migraine as the anger kept is coming back, but calms down and walks along to meet her army.
Meanwhile, with a group of Pegasuses and Unicorns
Luna stands on the balcony with an army below her, gives a speech of the rise of the Moon *** ["Let's see them try to hide!" she evilly laughs as Luna and the guards rises and transform to the Nightmare form. "No more will the moon be eclipsed By selfish, blinding, scorching sunlight!Gaze upon the dusk of a new age,The lunar throne shall take its rightful place!"]
The Nightmare guards cheered, Nightmare Moon cries, "The time has come, my children! The End of the Sun,...AND THE RISE OF THE MOON!" she eclipses the morning Sun to eternal darkness. Again the army cheered her name of Nightmare Moon.
Shadow rose peeks behind the speech party, as she overheard and see the transformed Pegasuses turned to Bats and Nightmare Moon, "Looks like trouble, I better get Cosmic and Silver before get out of control." she ran off to find Cosmic Star and Silver Colt as the army starts marching out of their kingdom, as the end is near.
Meanwhile, in the castle, Silver Colt and Shadow Rose rushed to the throne room to get Cosmic Star, but overcame with two Unicorns. The guards reacted as Shadow Rose and Silver approaches holding tight with their Magic."Open the doors, unicorns." Shadow Rose commands.
The guard replied back to Shadow Rose, "But Princess Luna gave us a word to not open the doors to no one, Captain." Shadow rose felt as she was betrayed, but she command the guards again but with disappointment, "Open the door, or you'll never your heads in the next morning!" The guards looked at each other nervously and opens the doors letting in them both as they see Cosmic star sobbing and exhausted to escape.
Silver Colt along with Shadow Rose ran up and helped her up, "Cosmo! Are you okay?"
Cosmic Star gets up and hugs Silver Colt as she sobs quietly, "I'm sorry...I've tried to stop her, but-" Silver Colt cuts her off as he realized as he looked at Shadow Rose, "Where's Luna!?"
Shadow rose looked at the window, "Silver Colt. Why don't you look outside and see for yourself." Silver Colt and Cosmic Star looked outside of the window as the sky darkens, the Sun was black, and an army of bats start to march* "Is it..."
Shadow rose replies with doubt, "Yep, Princess Luna...is no more." Cosmic Star tears up, "Its all my fault, if I wouldn't have run away, none of this.." "You wouldn't have met us, and notice everything about Luna being here as herself. Cosmo, you can't give up, not when Luna needs you. Celestia needs you, we need you, Cosmo!" Silver Colt cried.
Cosmic Star doubted herself putting herself down in a pit, "They don't need me, I mess up their relationship and push them. They can't forgive each other this way, and they won't forgive me for what I did."
Shadow rose pushed Silver away and confronted at Cosmic with direct eye contact, "Look, you're here to see Luna right, and know about the 1000 year terror of Nightmare Moon.Then tell everyone about what you are and what is your purpose of being here to every-pony." Cosmo took in Shadow's words too much to handle.
As worried as Cosmo is, she turns around, and walks to the balcony seeing every-pony standing below in fear, faces back to Silver and Shadow as they slowly nod to her. Cosmo took a breathe and standed strong, as the crowd looked at each other with somber and worry, "Fellow ponies of this hidden place, I have came to tell you that...we have lost a Princess, a caring, serenity alicorn that gives us the peace within our lives. But not becoming herself, but another. Here to tell you that we need to help our dear Princess from the darkness, follow me every-pony as we reawaken the Elements and save our Princess, Princess Luna!"
The crowd cheered for Cosmic Star as Silver Colt and Shadow Rose came up next to her. Cosmo and Silver spread there wings and flew high, and Shadow directed the crowd to follow Cosmo and Silver.

As Cosmic Star, Shadow Rose, Silver Colt, and the rest of the ponies come towards the cavern. Every-pony stopped as Cosmo leads on the the cavern. Cosmo stopped and turns around, "Silver Colt...Shadow Rose?"
Shadow Rose and Silver Colt approached her, "This is something you have to do on your own, Cosmic." Shadow commented. Silver hugged her once more, "Good luck, Cosmo. We'll always be there for you." Cosmo smiles and enters the cavern with courage.
Entering farther within the cave she sees a bright white light, brighter and farther down she went. Right in the middle was the Tree of Harmony
Cosmic Star standing to see a sight of bright lights, she sighed, "I don't know if you can hear me, but I want to know how I can find my true destiny as being an Alicorn from the start. Although, Princess Celestia was the one suppose to know, but it like she's not tell me something. What is it I'm I missing!"
The Elements and her cutie mark glowed, as her eyes gleamed a voice can be heard but the figure was too hard to see, "Forgiveness. They...must...forgive...each other...bring them forgiveness and love for each other as two forces come...in perfect balance." the voice whispered.
Confused, Cosmo approached the bright figure slowly and the voice speaks again, "A second chance...to bring true...harmony," beam streams of light surround and lifts Cosmic Star up "To awaken...the Elements of Harmony!"
Magically around Cosmic Star a crown reappears and her hair gleams, like all royal Alicorn. As the magic stops, Cosmic Star was put down slowly, and fluttered her eyes. She became amazed by her gift, "A purpose, to bring Love and Forgiveness to Equestria." the voice whispers again.
"So then with Silver Colt and Shadow rose...are my two remain elements." Cosmo questioned the voice as the Tree of Harmony releases two elements Loyalty and Kindness as they circle around Cosmo.
Hours later, outside of the Tree of Harmony cave, every pony waited for Cosmic Star's arrival even Shadow Rose and Silver Colt that worries the most for Cosmo's return, "What's taking her so long?"
Silver Colt calmed Shadow down, "Just be patient, sis, shes probably taking time." "I know that, Silver, but a war between the two sisters is at stake!" Shadow broke her impatience.
Appearing a bright starlight, wings shows and starts walking; as she walks, every pony bows; and as she stops to her friends her light dimmed as her original self along with the two elements that surrounds her. Silver Colt and Shadow Rose's eyes gleamed as the two elements surround her,
"You two have been chosen and proved that you become of what destine in the need with two new elements Loyalty and Kindliness." the two stones surrounded Shadow rose and Silver Colt as they formed to a necklace gem based off their cutie makes as a green emerald shield and a ruby red rose. Defeating Nightmare Moon and save Equestria, but saving Luna and Celestia is the main problem that I'm going to face alone." Cosmo replied.
Silver Colt confronted to Cosmo as he looked Shadow Rose. The both bow down, "Were with you until the end, Cosmic Star." Cosmo smiles. The crowd cheered as the three ran off to Canterlot
Meanwhile, in Canterlot
Princess Celestia walks passed the Canterlot guards that gets ready for the war, she heads to her armor and puts on.
Top Guard trots up to the Princess and bows to answer, "Princess, the guards are ready for your commands." "Tell the Unicorn guards to form a shielded wall and the Pegasus to steady for attack." commanded Princess Celestia. As the Captain bows one last time, he trots away. As Princess Celestia puts in her helmet on she heads to the balcony, and sees the skies turn red as clouds bury the blue skies as a war is just the beginning.
The Lunar Army marches forward, but as they stop to a certain, Nightmare Moon steps up,
"What is wrong, my subjects? Is the moon not to your liking? Perhaps you just don't see, the endless sea of black, And all of the stars so striking, Do you dare to anger me? Is it so hard to give up the way things are? Do you not see the wonders I create? Why do you hide away from the night and stars? Did I deserve your fear and hate?"
The Lunar Army & Nightmare Moon: "Well no more, usher the coming storm, Let darkness flood the morn and swallow every wayward light Lay the seas and mountains under blackened heavens,"
Nightmare Moon: "Bow now citizens, unto the throne of night Rise now regal moon, all the world consume. Tremble at the sight, the eternal night!"
Princess Celestia: "What's become of you sister? Don't you see your own soul waning? While this anger burns for me Please give me a chance To save all that's remaining And end this war, I plea!"
The Canterlot Army & Princess Celestia: "Stow your scorn, call off your hellish swarm, Our people won't be torn because of your fiery spite, Free them from your vengeance, or you'll pay the penance, Must you make me cast the sentence for this blight?"
Princess Celestia: "Dearest sister Luna, what have you done? Can't you see the monster you have become?"
As the was about to begin, running in the plains, Cosmic Star, Shadow rose, and Silver Colt found the whole armies of both Sun and Moon
"Are we too late!?" Silver Colt asked the two.
Shadow Rose responded, "No, they're only getting prepared, so then were just in time to save them." Shadow rose looks at Cosmic Star, "We'll be protecting you along the way, Cosmic."
Cosmic Star looks at her friends, then looks back at the war. Head down she is filled with determination, "Lets end this war." Silver Colt and Shadow Rose nodded the flew down towards the armies.
As Silver Cosmic Star, and Shadow rose flies down the two sides collided. The clash battle of the two sisters, Cosmic Star, Silver Colt, and Shadow rose run into the battle, as Silver Colt and Shadow rose fight off that stand in their way to the Castle of Canterlot.
"Oh no, Celestia!" Cosmic Star cried as she halted seeing Princess Celestia falls in to the castle, and Nightmare Moon goes down with her.
"Even Nightmare Moon is stronger than her only sister. And its all because-" "The hatred I push her into." Cosmic Star said putting herself down again, Silver Colt looks at Cosmic Star in high hope, "You know what to do Cosmo with your destiny?"
Cosmic Star looks at Silver Colt and Shadow Rose, "Yep, and we are all on this-"
"To the End!" Silver Colt/Shadow Rose/Cosmic Star cheered as they ran in to the Castle to catch up to the sisters

In the Castle, Celestia's throne room
Princess Celestia trembles in pain, gets up slowly; Nightmare Moon hovers down, and walks towards her, "Look at you...looks like the Princess of the Sun, can't even stand up to stop me as from before we last fought."
Princess Celestia coughed, "I don't want to fight you-"
"Silence! You call me the new ruler of Equestria, as soon as the the Sun fall down, I will get the the revenge that I deserve from banishing me to the moon." Nightmare barked.
Princess Celestia's captain fires beams of magic, but miss them, Nightmare pick him up once more and throws him out the window. As she beams Celestia to the throne chair, injuring her whole body and wings, "Pathetic and weak as you are. Now that the Elements of Harmony aren't with you, this time...they won't save you. No one will save you!" Nightmare moon aims her magic at Princess Celestia.
"Luna Stop!" Cosmo cried as Nightmare Moon stops, and turns around seeing the three brave ponies. Cosmo stepped forward to Celestia and Nightmare Moon, "I'm...I'm sorry. For what I said before, I just want a perfect family that doesn't fight over and over again for one reason. But like you said the past is behind us. I refuse to stop forgetting the times we have you and Luna. And now with the Elements, I have found my destiny as a Alicorn, on my own. Along with my friends, I'm not doing this on my own, with the power of Forgiveness and Friendship. We can overcome want brings disharmony."
Princess Celestia smiles as Cosmo's eyes sparkle with tears, but stroked again by Nightmare moon, she felt a greater pain. "Princess!" the ponies shouted.
Nightmare Moon eyes glared at the ponies, "I have enough of this! I will not tolerate all of your sorrows, as I take the crown! You'll all bow to me!" She zaps the magic at Cosmic Star as she was hit to wall, Cosmic Star lying in pain tries to get up, but falls in pain. As Nightmare gets close to Cosmo, Silver Colt and Shadow Rose gets in front of her.
"Get of my way, this is between me and her!" "If you want her so badly, your going have go through me!" Silver Colt cried and Shadow rose cried as well as charges up her magic, "And me!"
Nightmare Moon laughed, "You two are nothing to me, you can't even protect your own selves!" She lifts up Silver Colt and throws him to Shadow rose. "Silver Colt, Shadow rose!" Cosmo cried. As she was going to reach them, she's being lifted by Nightmare Moon. "Luna! You don't do this! Please, I can help you."
Nightmare Moon looked at her, but feels no emotion as her heart is cold, "Luna is no longer here. But as a disgrace on my rule, Cosmo...You will perish upon me along with the Elements." Silver Colt and Shadow Rose getting up from being thrown sees Cosmic Star held dearly to her life Nightmare Moon charges her magic to finish her off, "Cosmo!"
As Nightmare Moon was about to strike Cosmic Star, the Elements gleam light blinded Nightmare Moon and Princess Celestia. As something miracle is happening.
Cosmic Star being pulled away from Nightmare's grasp. Shadow Rose and Silver Colt was lifted next to Cosmo as the Element circle around them faster, and faster, "No, not again. I'll never be banished again by the Elements." Nightmare Moon beams a ray of magic at the Elements, but absorbs in.
The three ponies's eyes beam white as the power direct the Elements magic creating a rainbow tornado around Nightmare Moon. Explodes a bright light, then dims. Princess Celestia sees as Shadow Rose and Silver Colt are alright, but Cosmic Star and Nightmare Moon are missing
Silver Colt worried about Cosmo came up to help Princess Celestia, but before he could say anything Celestia looks a Silver and Shadow with sorrow. But a small voice was heard from the blast of light, "Tia?"
Princess Celestia surprise by the sound to her voice, turns around, and runs to Luna and hugs her as they both crying tears of joy. For a while the Princesses and the two ponies see the Elements reappear Cosmic Star was back along with the crown in head, "Cosmo!" Silver Colt cried as he and Shadow Rose runs to Cosmic Star and hugs her.
"Cosmo," Princess Celestia and Luna confronted the three ponies as Cosmo came up front of the two Princesses, "Princess. Before you say anything, I-"
Princess Celestia cut her off to give a speech, "What you show me was something that I will never forget, Cosmo. Showing the empathy, and the will to risk your life for what is right, thus, for the Elements of Harmony can always be strong as long as you give the light to our hearts."
Luna speeches out as well, "And what you showed me, is giving me a chance to forgive my mistakes even I can never truly understand."
Cosmic Star smiles at her friends and the Princess. As out of the window she sees over a cheering crowd as the army of bats are back to normal and peace is being restored to all of Equestria.
~~~Epilogue~~~
To the Princesses of dawn and dusk, the new Elements have there bearers of Magic, Loyalty, and Kindliness to keep balance of Equestria, but the remaining Elements are still within the mist as Cosmo's adventure will continue on.
As Princess Celestia is back to do her duty of rising the sun, and Princess Luna, finally welcomed, brought the people in her kingdom, made home in Canterlot and Ponyville, and began her duty of rising the moon.
As for Shadow rose, finally had something she could ever dream about, is becoming the Royal Captain of the Canterlot guards, A job to keep harmony in balance to Equestria and being loyal to the Princesses of day and night, including her friends.
Cosmic Star, Silver Colt, and Shadow Rose have a lot to learn of their Elements, but the timing was just the beginning, to seek the remained Elements of Harmony
