Fluttershy marries Discord a corpse that cursed to walk the underworld and the mortla land til someone frees him.
All her life Fluttershy had suitors from near and far for as long as the pegasus mare can remember .One day the latest wedding rehearsel she messes it up badly ending up in a unwilling marriage with a corpse! But not just any corpse but the carcass of Discord a groom who was killed on his wedding day and he has been waiting for someone to ask for his hand in hopes of letting him get his etarnel rest, can Fluttershy free him? or will Discord forever never find peace? its not as easy as it would seem though.
This is my first story and hope you all will enjoy it, im gonna do the best i can.
It was a cold winter night the air was chilling the ground was frozen covered in new fallen snow, this was the everfree forest a place filled with monsters and dark secrets it was a place not many dared to tread and theres not many who returned from said forest, being it either Timberwolfs or something far worse that was their demise . A shadow lingered at the edge of the forest it wasnt pony that was certaint it was too tall, too lean to be so and it was standing on two legs not many creatures did. The shadow stopped up at a crooked tree ice taps hanging from its branches glittering in the light of Luna's moon reflecting the shadow and the forest, it looked around seemingly to look for something or somepony as it leaned up the tree as it began to snow softly and the wind picking up. The wind and snow clawed at his feet and tail freezing him, he tried pulling his coat closer to his form to keep warm it wasn't very helpful through, it must've been -30 degrees it wasnt the best weather to stand in especially at night.
where is she, she should had been here by now right?
He took a gold pocket watch out of his pocket. It was a family heirloom a very simpel thing it was, not covered in gems as most watched it was just plain, it could give quiet the bits if he found the right buyers though. He opened it seeing the time was close to midnightShe's not coming is she? He signed sadly turning to leave his tail hanging limp dragging the snow with it, a warm bath sounding nicer by the minute also his poor feet felt like they were frozen to the ground. He turned towards the road the snow crunching under his mix matched feet as the moon was hidden behind the clouds surrounding him in darkness. He stopped hearing a noise getting closer it sounded like hoofsteps heading his direction. Happiness filled him as he turned around, finally she had arrived, finally they could run away and finally they could be together forever. His heart pounded in his chest as he felt the adrenalin kick-

1 year later...
it was a gloomy day in Ponyville ponies walking down the streets stopping up to politely greet each other carring on with their day like clockwork, carts driving by once in awhile filled with vegetables and other goods to sell at the marked hoping to earn a bit or two. A carriage pulled into town it wasnt a fancy one, it dirty with cracks in a few places the door hang off the side, the wheels squeaked while the driver who was a grumpy looking fellow pulling along. Prince Blueblood stepped off the carriage throwing the driver a bit, it was the last one in his pocket. He was broke the stallion and he hated it he was suppose to be a rich handsome stallion living in a mansion not this, ever since his aunt Princess Celestia had cut him off his funds Blueblood had a hard time scrapping bits together to survive well its what he gets for using bit sums of bits of the royal treasury, the unicorn looked around grimacing this place was dirty mud puddle here and there dirting other ponies hoofs along with small critters running by spreading their germs even everything seemed dusty.
What a dump
He walked along the street avoiding other ponies hoping to keep his coat atleast semi clean he hated being dirty, he wasnt sure if that was worse then being broke. He stopped at the town square seeing there was sat up food stalls and such, Bluebloods stomache rumbled he hated to admit it but he was hungry and couldnt careless what it was he could get. Blueblood signed annoyed remembering he doesnt have any bits left.
''Hear ye hear ye the shy house hold wedding rehearsel this afternoon!''
A cross eyed mare flew by ringing her bell somehow not crashing into a building. Blueblood looked after the mare, he smirked as he developed a plan, a really brilliant plan.
What a perfect oppertunity
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy yelped as her brother Zephyr breeze pulled to fit all of her rosy mane in a bun. The stallion had a few pins in his which he pushed around with his tongue concetrating on fixing his sisters hair.
''Hold still sis!''
Zephyr said putting a pin in to keep some of the mane in place.
''sorry...''
The yellow mare said softly feeling more of her mane being pulled, straining at her scalp.
''There all done''
The stallion triumphly said standing back to admire his work. The mare looked in the mirror seeing her brothers work the bun sat nice on top her head a loose strain of mane sat in front her face. Fluttershy signed it was lovely but it just wasnt her, the mare could feel the uncomfortable stings of her hair being sat so tight aswell as her ugle brown gown that sat uncomfortable on her form iching. She knew her brother tried to be gentle but sometimes Zephyr gets a little too excited especily since he's a mane therapist, she couldnt blame him it was a important day after all. It was her wedding rehearsel a day she dreaded every year and it always went the same way, catastrophing.
''Zephyr what if this duke doesnt like me?''
Her question filling her with doubt, Zephyr stopped to look at his older sister with a couraging smile.
''Im sure he will, else he has to have a word with me''
Fluttershy smiled softly as her brother boxed with his front hooves indicating what he meant. However her smile fell when the doorbell rang and her mother entered.
''Dear its time''
Fluttershy signed followeding her mother with Zephyr in tow down to the grand hall of the mansion. It was quiet beautiful with cloud like pillars keeping up the roof that was painted like the sky on a sunny day unlike it was out side with grey clouds keeping the suns warm rays out, the floor was a nice polished marble that reflected everyone and everything. The front door opened as a brown unicorn stallion entered, his mane was creme colored curling abit to the side, his cutiemark was a golden brush that sparkled and his eyes was dark blue like the night sky.
''Duke Bristle from Canterlot''
The butler annocented closing the door after the stallion. Fluttershy's mother stepped up to the unicorn her husband by her side both bowed politely.
''Welcome to our home Duke Bristle''
The dark magenta maned mare said quietly.
'' Its a pleasure being here my lady''
Duke Bristle replied taking the mares hoof to kiss it. Zephyr gagged jokingly while Flutteshy covered her mouth trying to keep her laughter in. Fluttershy's father turned to wave her over to present her.
''This is out daughter Fluttershy''
The pegasus stallion said quietly, Duke smiled charmingly at the rose maned pegasus making her blush red.
''its an honor to meet you'' the unicorn took Fluttershy's hoof giving it a kiss just like he did to her mother.
''oh my''
Fluttershy said growing shyer by the minute and her face burning more and more , it was going to be long day. And it had to go according to plan.
Duke Bristle Stomped out of the Shy's residence his suit covered in burn marks and wine stains, the duke's eye was twitching in anger his teeth scraping together frustrated. Right after him an old stallion stepped out, his coat was light grey and his mane was black, his cutiemark was a cross. Duke whistled after one of the cabs nearby watching as it pulled up next to him, he turned towards the Shy's his eyebrows was narrowed looking straight at Fluttershy. Flutteshy had ducked behind Zephyr hiding from the dukes rage, she was low to the ground tears rolling down her cheeks aswell as biting the inner of her cheek to keep the whimper that threaten to come out.
''This is an outrage, that mare needs to pull herself together!'' Duke Bristle snorted his nostrils flared.
'' The engagement is off!'' The duke went to his carriage yelling for the driver to go to Canterlot and drove off.
The prist turned aswell with a compassinated look on his face, he took his hat off holding to his chest wanting to consult them but knew it was a waste. He saw the young mares sad face feeling his heart drop to his stomache, he dreaded his next words knowing she will get upset even more. The prist took a deep breath and let it out finally speaking.
''Im afraid he's right Misses Shy if your daughter cant get it together the next time she gets engaged, im afraid she'll never be a bride''
He bid a farewell leaving the household looking back at the house as he went on his way leaving the family to figure out what to do next. Mr. Shy shut the door gently with a sign it was another failer and another suitor, and a once again sad Fluttershy. The pegasus stallion wasn't sure he could handle once again seeing his daugthers tears as he have seen them over and over again, and knew neither could his wife. Both parents went over to comfort Fluttershy hoping to try again maybe the 11th time could work though they dubted it, Zephyr had already started comforting his sister he hated seeing her cry.
''Cheer up sis that duke was just an old fart, he wasnt good enough for you'' Zephyr smiled hoping it helped.
it didn't though.
Fluttershy sniffed wiping her tears away, this happend the last time and the time before that though this was worst then them all put together. The pegasus mare had stumbled over her vows, dropping the ring knocking over a candle in the progress of picking it back up aswell as setting fire to Duke Bristle and watched him run around screaming with Zephyr tackling him to pour the wine that was used for the rehearsel to put it out.
''Its okay dear im sure the next time will be-'' Fluttershy interrupted her mother.
''Better? You heard him! im a mess mother who's gonna.... Sniff who's gonna...'' the mare couldn't get the words out and broke down.
Fluttershy muttered something about needing some air and ran out barely hearing her brother call out for her to wait, the pegasus ran through town feeling everyponies eyes on her, mocking her and it made it harder for the mare to breath, it was like the eyes was everywhere which made her more anxious.
Fluttershy had gotten over the bridge leading to the Everfree Forest it was getting dark the sun setting in the distancen, She stopped up nearby a crooked tree its overgrowed roots sticking up from the ground curling in weird directions. The pegasus sat down by a tree stump crying, she pulled out the engagement ring out of her pocket looking sadly down at it muttering defeated.
''With this hoof i will be your wine? No no no....with this candle i...i...i sign set you on fire...''
Flutterhshy got up looking around noticing how dark it had gotten, the moon had already risen making it easier for the mare to see her surroundings. Fluttershy concidered going back but she didnt feel like seeing her family just yet and she didnt want to see the town fearing she would just breake down, the mare signed she really was a mess but a voice in the back of her mind was telling her different it was saying she shouldnt give up encoraging her. Feeling somewhat confident Fluttershy took a deep breath wiping away her tears letting out the air, this time she would get it together and do it right.
''With this hoof i will lift your sorrows'' She straighted her back trying feeling more confident.
Danger...
''You're cup will never empty for i will be you're wine'' Fluttershy did not noticing the birds that had gathered in the trees around her. Fluttershy probally had seen them but didn't pay them any mind as she continued taking a small branch to use it to imitate a candle.
Danger! Danger!Danger!
''With this candle i will lead your way through darkness'' if Fluttershy had listen closely she would had heard the birds sqawking their warnings.
Danger! Danger!Danger!Danger!
''With this ring i ask you to be mine!'' The mare put the ring on one of the upsticking roots.
The whole forest went silent after that not even the birds dared to said a pip, the mare felt a swift in the wind as the temperature fell making it unsually cold. Fluttershy looked at the root it was twirled together forming a palm and claws strangely like it was some sort of bird claw, Fluttershy couldn't see what kind of bird it was though but it didn't matter, she slowly raised a hoof to take back the ring when the ground started to shake. Fluttershy yelped trying to keep her balance but it was no use the yellow pegasus landed on her flank, she waited for the gorund to stop shaking covering her head with her hoofs shaking in fear, it ceased shortly after. Fluttershy signed in reliefe starting to get up she was to her full height when a strange noise echoed around her, she looked around to the find the source it was coming from the crooked tree near the roots to be exact, Fluttershy gasped seeing the earth around the tree going up and down like a heartbeat.
The Earth broke open sending dirt flying, a greenly glowing mist roused from the hole as a tall lean figure stood up covered in dirt with dust covering its face. The birds started to screech louder clearly terrorfied flying away in their panic their feathers floating around surrounding Futtershy and the stranger, Flutteshy could clearly hear their warnings now but she was to scared to move as she stood frozen on her spot. The Figure strechet his body cracking noises sounded as it did and yawned loudly like it just been sleeping, it looked towards where Fluttershy stood removing the dust that covered its face showing it was smilling. Fluttershy gasped when she could the creature's face it was a pony's face with a yellow eye, yes a eye it was missing the other, it had a goats horn and a broken deer horn a sharp fang sticking out of its mouth. Its body was long and snake like with a lion paw and a eagle claw but the claw was just bones, it was wearing an orange suit with a red bowtie. It was still smilling at her leaning towards the clearly terrorfied mare opening its mouth to speak its voice deep and scratchy.
