"Wow! Didn't see that one coming" Commented Twilight Sparkle, reading a book entitled The outbreak."These ´zombies` seem like interesting creatures, wouldn't like to meet one tough. I wonder if I got anything on zombies in the library."Twilight put the book down. " SPIKE!" Spike came running. "Yes twilight?"
"Help me find any book about ´zombies`."
"Alright!"
Both started searching the library for anything on the matter.
"Found it!" said Spike, from the top of the ladder, holding a book entitled Mythical creatures. Chapter XII: Zombies.
"Thanks Spike!" Twilight said using her magic to take the book, Spike still holding it, both Spike and the stairs fell down.
" Come on Twilight, it´s the third time this week, and it´s Tuesday!"
"Sorry Spike."
Spike sighted."Whatever."He walked out of the room, leaving twilight alone with the book.
It was twilight, Twilight flipped trough the last pages and put the book down. She looked at the window, then at the clock."Oh no, I should've met the girls 30 minutes ago!" She rushed out of her room."SPIKE!"
"Yes twilight?"
"I had to be in a picnic 30 minutes ago! Why didn't you warn me?!"
"You didn't tell me."
Twilight sighted"Ok, let´s go." She used her magic to lift spike and put him in her back before he could say anything. She then rushed to the kitchen, picked a box using her magic and put it in spike´s hand.
" We will never get there in time."
"Yes we will." Twilight closed her eyes and concentrated, her horn started glowing, a bright light shined around them. The light disappeared and so did them.
Twilight Sparkle opened her eyes."What the hay?" She saw a destroyed city, buildings taller than any she had ever seen, falling apart, the sky was a dark red, The sun a brighter red, there were destroyed vehicles all over the place.There were parts of the destroyed buildings fallen around her. She was in the middle of the street. She looked to her sides. She saw the rest of the mane six." Girls! Where the hay are we?"
" Ah don't know Twilight." Applejack was the first to talk
"We were at the picnic wondering when you would arrive." Continued rarity.
" And now we´re here. If somepony here has to explain something, That somepony is you." Said Rainbow Dash
" Well, I noticed I was late to the picnic I used a teleporting spell to teleport me to were you girls were."
"Well, something went wrong."
" I did kept thinking about that one book about zombies. That must have messed up the spell. "
"Now the question is, Where the hay are we?"
"I don't know."
"it sure as hay is a pretty devastated place."
"What´s that?" Pinkie Pie pointed at her right. It was an humanoid. It had green skin and walked like he was drunk.
"It can't be!"
"What it can't be Twilight?"
"I spent the afternoon reading a book about them, But they can't be real, They just can't"
"What Twilight? What can´t it be?"
" A zombie."
"I knew it, I knew zombies were real!" Spike was still on Twilight´s back.
"That isn't something you should celebrate Spike, Zombies are very dangerous creatures, They will try to bite you, And if they succeed, You become one of them."
"What do you mean one of them?"
"There's no time, we must escape!"
"Twilight, I don't think you noticed but..." Dash pointed at the zombie." The thing is barely moving, he wont cause much trouble."
"You don't understand, just look at this city! How many of them would be necessary to do this much damage?"
"Ah think ah understand, they're weak, but there's a buckton of them."
" Exactly, that´s why we must run!"
"But why would you want to run? Let´s throw a party."
Twilight sighted. "Pinkie, did you even hear what I just said? They will kill us if we don't escape."
"Why would they want to kill us?"
"Because they are zombies."
" That's just silly Twilight, I´m sure they just want to be friends." She bounced to the zombie that was about 10 feet from them.
"PINKIE DON´T DO THAT!"
The zombie grabbed Pinkie." See Twilight, he is hugging me!"
"SOMEPONY SAVE HER!" She tried to use her magic, but to no avail.
Rainbow dash rushed in the zombies direction and kicked it in the forehead when he was about to bite Pinkie."Take that!"
" Why did you do that dashie? He was just hugging me."
"The thing was about to bite you!" She sighted."Come on." They walked back.
"I can't use my magic, why can't I use my magic?"
"I don't know, but whatever it is that don't let you use your magic, we gotta find it and destroy it."
"You're right dash. But first we must go to a safe place so we can discover why is my magic gone and I can tell you more about the zombies."
"A zombie is a creature infected by a virus that kill it and revive it at the same time taking control of the host´s brain, the only way to make sure it stays dead is destroying it´s brain. There are a lot of different virus with different effects, the one Rainbow Dash killed was most likely infected by the T-virus. Other names for zombies would be: Living dead, Zed, It, Infected, etc." Spike said, leaving Twilight´s mouth agape.
" Spike, Did you read that book?"
"Yes. 3 times actually."
Twilight facehoofed. " Now that you know about the zombies, Lets go somewhere safe."
Dash walked into fluttershy´s direction," Hey, Fluttershy." Fluttershy uncovered her eyes and ears." Let´s go."
" Where to?"
"Just follow me." twilight walked in a random direction.
Twilight was looking at the ground with a confused look, trying to figure out why she couldn't use her magic, Spike was on her back. Pinkie bouncing by her side.behind them were Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.Rainbow Dash was looking at the environment, looking for other zombies.Futtershy was scared looking at the red sky, then at what was left of the buildings then at the ground, at Rainbow Dash, and at the red sky again. Behind them were Applejack and Rarity, chit-chatting to distract themselves from the situation.
"We really should have heard Twilight, if we did, the changeling invasion wouldn't have happened."
"Its nopony´s fault rarity, we were too worried with the wedding to listen to her."
"But still..."
They were at an intersection, A fallen building blocking their way to west.
"Stop!"Shouted Twilight. Everypony stopped on their tracks"Look, over there, she pointed at a zombie, walking in their direction. A car was on his left.
"Leave it to me!" Said Rainbow Dash. She jumped on the air, but before she could dash in the zombie´s direction, she heard a loud noise. The zombie fell.
"What?" She descended to the ground
A humanoid figure, That was hiding behind the car, appeared behind the fallen zombie, he had blonde hair, used a brown coat, black shirt and dark blue jeans.
"Hey you, who are you? Or, What, are you ?"
The humanoid looked at them with wide eyes and an open jaw. He decided to play along and recomposed himself. He coughed "I am Leon Scott Kennedy. A human. What are you?"
"We are ponies. I am Twilight Sparkle"
"I´m Pinkie Pie."
"I´m Rainbow Dash"
"Ah am Applejack"
"I am rarity, Pleased to meet you, mister Kennedy."
"I´m Spike. I´m a dragon."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
"What about that one?"He pointed at Fluttershy.
"That's Fluttershy,"
"Fitting name I guess. You haven't tried to kill me yet, so you are probably not enemies. I suppose I could trust you, at least for now."
"Are you familiar with this city?"
"Yes, you could say so."
"Do you know a way out?"
"All exits by ground or water are closed so the zombies wont spread, the only way out is by air."
Everypony looked at Rainbow Dash.
"Sorry girls, but I can´t carry all of you."
"What do we do then? We can't stay here."
"Well, you do know what a helicopter is, right?"
"Never heard of that."
"Its a machine that allows people to fly."
"Where can we find one?"
"I was on my way to one."
"can you take us with you?"
"can you fight?"
"yeah."
"yup."
"I suppose so."
"I´m a lady, I wont dirty my hooves with these filthy creatures."
"why fight? Lets just party." Pinkie takes out her party cannon, and proceed to shoot it, hitting a zombie that was approaching them from behind. It falls to the ground."oops."
Leon takes his pistol and put a bullet to the zombie´s forehead.
"What's that?" Twilight pointed at the pistol in Leon´s hand.
"its a pistol, a firearm. Makes it much easier to kill these things."
"We don't have those in equestria."
"Equestria?"
"the country we live."
Leon facepalmed." I don't wanna know the city´s name."
"ponyville."
Leon facepalmed so hard it leave a mark in his face." Just... Just follow me, okay."
Leon started walking east. everypony, and spike, followed him.
The ponies were in the same formation as before, Except, this time, Leon was leading. The sun was setting. There were fallen lampposts everywhere. Parts of the buildings had fallen. There was a smell of rotten flesh on the air.
" So, What is this place?" Twilight said.
"This is Raccoon City. Or, What's left of it."
"What caused all this?"
"Its a long story. How did you get here? You are obviously not from this world."
" A teleportation spell gone wrong." Twilight kicked a rock.
" Why don't you use that spell to go back to, What was the name.....?"
"Equestria. And the problem is, I can't seem to use my magic."
"Hey!" called Rainbow Dash." What's that?" She pointed at something About 100 feet from them. It was much bigger than a zombie. And he carried something.
"Stay here." Leon said as he slowly approached the thing. When he was about 30 feet from it, He aimed at it´s head, and shot. This time, it didn't fall, it turned around, put the thing it was holding in his shoulder and aimed at Leon, He shot 3 more times and started running."Take cover!" It shot it´s weapon, a missile came out of it, everybody jumped behind something before getting hit by the missile Rarity, unfortunately, couldn't get out of the explosion range in time. Luckily,Only her right hind leg was caught in the explosion.
" Is everybody OK?"
" I´m alright."
" That was awesome! Can we do it again?"
" That was close."
" Owwww, My leg."
" Always the drama queen, Must be noth-" Twilight looked at Rarity´s leg." Holy sweet Celestia!"
The monster dropped it´s weapon and aimed one they didn't notice was in his hand. The weapon started spinning. Leon quickly looked around for any exits, he saw an open door." Quick, Come with me!" He picked Rarity up and started running to the door. everypony followed him. The monster started shooting. Applejack wasn't fast enough, She was shot in her chest and neck.
" APPLEJACK!"
" Go on, if y´all try to help me *cough* y´all die too".
" NO!"
" Come on Rainbow Dash." Twilight pulled her inside.
Applejack smiled." Take care." Leon closed the door, Then made a barricade.
Rainbow dash had tears in her eyes." Applejack." She sobbed. Fluttershy walked up to her, and hugged her. Then Pinkie, Then Twilight. Leon dropped Rarity so she could join the group hug. And so she did.Leon picked a nearby chair and sat on it.
They had been crying for almost half an hour now. Leon was typing on a writing machine. He got up from his chair. He examined the area for the first time since they entered. The room had two broken sofas, One broken TV, A closet, Red peeled wallpaper, And two doors. Leon walked up to the closet and opened it, there was ammo for his pistol and a first aid spray. "Hey, White pony, Come here a moment." Rarity walked up to Leon.. "This is going to hurt a little, But it'll make your leg better." Leon used the spray on her hurt leg.
"Hnnnn."
"Now, Try to move your leg."
Rarity stretched her leg, Then walked around the room. She stopped in front of Leon."You were right mister Kennedy, It is indeed much better.Thank you."
"Please, Just call me Leon." Leon turned his attention to the rest of the group. "Girls, Just standing around wont do us any good. My friend, Claire, Is waiting for me. I´m sure she will help you."
They turned to Leon, Bloodshot eyes from all the crying.
Twilight wiped the tears from her face. " You're right Leon." She walked up to him. " Let´s go girls."
Pinkie got up, Then Fluttershy, Then Rainbow Dash.
" Let's get out of here."
"Wait. Before we go. What is that thing you used on rarity's leg?"
Leon picked the empty can from the ground."This? This is the life saver, Produced by umbrella corporation."
"Umbrella corporation?"
" World´s biggest pharmaceutical industry."
"Alright then, Let´s meet with this friend of yours."
Leon walked up to on of the doors, knocked on it, waited, and got a grunt in response. He kicked the door, aimed at the zombie inside, and shot. He entered. The room had the same peeled wallpaper as the other one. It was empty, except for the staircase at the corner.
" Follow me." They followed him. Leon walked up the stairs.
The room they were in was like the other one, Only difference being, This one had a window. Leon opened the window, and jumped. He was followed by Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity.
" Need help Spike?"
"No." Spike climbed the window, Spiked the wall and descended slowly. Twilight jumped out off the window. Spike walljumped on her back.
Twilight was truly impressed."Spike, I didn´t know you could do that!"
" I´m a dragon. Why do you think I have these claws?"
" That was awesome Spike." Rainbow Dash said.
"Thanks."
"Girls." Leon called."Claire, Helicopter,Going back to your world."
"Oh, yeah. Let's go."
They started walking west.
They were walking for five minutes. The street they were in was the same destroyed scenery from the others.
"Why is everybody so quiet? Are feeling sad or something? I know that to do!"
He started singing "My name is Pinkie Pie And I am here to say I'm gonna make you smile, and I will brighten up your day-aaay! It doesn't matter now If you are sad or blue cause cheering up my friends is just what Pinkie's here to do Cause I love to make you smile, smile, smile Yes I do It fills my heart with sunshine all the while Yes it does Cause all I really need's a smile, smile, smile From these happy friends of mine"
"Tell me she isn´t..."Leon said
"'Cause I love to make you grin, grin, grin Yes I do Bust it out from ear to ear, let it begin Just give me a joyful grin, grin, grin And you fill me with good cheer"
"She is." Said twilight
"Come on everypony smile, smile, smile Fill my heart up with sunshine, sunshine All I really need's a smile, smile, smile From these happy friends of mine!"
"PINKIE."
Pinkie stopped singing.
"This isn´t the time to sing."
"Twilight you silly filly, it´s always time to sing."
"Pinkie, trust me, There are good times to sing, And there are bad times to sing, This is the worst time to sing."
Pinkie looked kinda sad."okie dokie."
"Girls, Over there." Leon pointed at a zombie horde."Which of you can actually fight?"
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie raised their hoofs.
"Take care not to be bitten. The rest of you, stay here. Let's go."
Rainbow Dash dashed trough the zombie, Leon ran shooting the zombies with his pistol, Pinkie used her party cannon to shoot sugar mortars. The zombies were all dead. Twilight walked up to Pinkie."Where did you get those?"
"I was testing new cupcakes recipes, Then one exploded."
"and you carry them with you because...?"
"If I shoot them really high they look like fireworks, And they are really tasty after they explode!"
"Alright then."
Leon reloaded his pistol, Dash did some air stunts before landing.
"Let´s go, We're almost there."
After 4 minutes of walking, They arrived at a police station.
"Here we are, Claire should be waiting for me" Leon opened the door. He entered and the girls followed. Claire was sitting on a sofa. "Hey Claire."
"Hey Leon."
"The ponies, And Spike, Entered after Leon."
" Oh.My.God." Claire looked surprised.
"Hello. You must be claire."
"What? How? Why?When?"
"Claire, These are colorful talking ponies and a dragon. Colorful talking ponies and dragon, This is claire. Claire, Please tell me that you're seeing them too. I fear i might have inhaled something toxic."
Spike perked his ears. "Girls. You hear that?" Everybody tried to hear something, It didn't take long. It sounded like footsteps, coming from the other room. Claire entered the dark room and flipped the light switch. There was a blonde girl inside, The girl tried running away, But Claire held her.
"Wait."
"let me go!"
"Easy, Easy there, I'm not a zombie. You're safe now." The girl hugged Claire. "What's your name?"
"Sherry, Sherry birkin."
"Come with me."
They walked back to where Leon, the ponies, and spike were waiting.suddenly, time stopped, only the ponies and spike could move.
"What the hoof?"
"What's going on?"
I am going on.
"Who said that?"
Me.
"Who are you?"
God.
"What?!"

"you are going to send us back to equestria?"
what would be the fun in that? I will teleport you to near an helicopter.
In that instant they appeared in the top of a building, there was an helicopter there, Leon was there too. But there also was something else, The nemesis was there, killing an African American human.
"You!"Rainbow dash shouted, getting nemesis' attention."You're the monster that killed applejack!"
"Quick, everyone go to the helicopter."
Pinkie and Rarity didn't think think twice before running right in. Twilight and Fluttershy waited for Rainbow Dash's reaction. Leon waited at the door.
"I'm gonna kill you to death!" Suddenly shouted Rainbow Dash. Twilight couldn't stop thinking about the redundancy in her sentence. The words kill and death stalled Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash jumped and dashed at nemesis, whom recognized the danger and started spinning his mining.
It was useless, Dash was too close for him to do anything, She threw him up with an uppercut and followed him in the air, once she was close she turned around and bucked his chest, sending him higher and back, She followed him and somersault kicked him, sending him flipping trough the air.
One could see the burning rage in her eyes, She flew way up. She was above nemesis, she used a cloud to give her impulse, taking him away from her friends, once she was at a safe distance, she dropped nemesis, flew down with all her speed, and did a rainbow nuke, leaving nemesis, and lots of other zombies, nothing but blood in a hole that used to be part of a town.
Rainbow dash was breathing heavily, Memories of her happy moments with Applejack flashed trough her head, Then the one memory she didn't want to remember played in her head. Applejack's death, it passed more than once, it just couldn't be forgotten. Tears ran through Dash's eyes and down her face. She flew up again, clearing her tears. She flied in her friend's direction.
"Applejack..." She said faintly as she landed.
"Dash!" Twilight came running."what's the matter with you?! He could've killed you! And your previous sentence was so redundant!"
Rainbow dash sighed."Chill the buck down Twilight. I'm too cool to be killed by him."
Fluttershy walked up to dash and hugged her."Dash, thank goodness you're alright."She pulled away from the hug.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Girls,"Spike said."helicopter, way out, back to equestria..."
"oh, right." the three of them walked to the helicopter.
"Why did you take so long?"
"Let's just get out of here."
"Roger that."Leon started the engine and flew out of town.
Some time later.
"I still can't believe applejack died." Said Rarity
"It's my fault."said Twilight Sparkle
"It's not, Twilight."
"yes it is, it's my fault we are in this world, it's my fault applejack died, it's all my fault."
"Wait, We are out of the city, now what?"
"I don't know, maybe now I can use my magic.Let me try. "Twilight's horn shined a bright purple light. "It works!"
"yay."
"Cool."
Leon looked at Twilight.
"Guess this is where we part up."
"yeah, Goodbye Leon"
"bye."
"Goodbye."
"farewell."
"bye-bye."
"goodbye, girls."
Twilight's horn flared and the ponies disappeared."
