After Twilight found a book called, "Dimensions and galore" she decided to test one of the spells. Turns out, it transported her and her friends into a strange, cubic dimension, Minecraft. Follow the Mane 6 as they journey through the world of cubes, mining their way to find a way out of the strange dimension.
It was another sunny day in Ponyville. The birds were chirping, Rainbow Dash was flying through the air, Pinkie Pie chasing after her, and Spike making his delicious daisy sandwiches. Nothing could make this morning any better.
"Hey, Twilight! I finished making my daisy sandwiches!", Spike greeted as she entered the dining room.
"Good Morning, Spike! Go ahead and eat first, Princess Celestia promised me a package. I'll join you later.", Spike nodded, and entered the kitchen.
Twilight walked down the long hallways of her castle. It takes about 3-5 minutes for her to reach the main door. It was a pretty big castle.
'Though not as big as Canterlot Castle'. As Twilight finally reached the door, she opened it to see a brown box with fancy hoofwriting on the top. "To Princesss Twilight Sparkle, 22nd Ponyville Central Street." A 'SQUEE!' escaped her muzzle as she came trotting back to the dining room with a satisfied smile.
"Heya Spike! Wanna open this package with me?", Twilight gestured her head to the brown box.
Spike looked up from his daisy sandwich and said, "Sure!", he walked over to Twilight and grabbed the box and eagerly opening it."Dimensions and Galore"? Well this sounds like something to show our friends!", Twilight said excitedly.
"So you called us over, to talk about a BOOK???", Rainbow Dash sent Twilight an annoyed look.
"Not just any book! It says, "Dimensions And Galore"!", Twilight pointed her hoof to the golden words, grinning ear to ear excited to open the book.
"Oh Darling, I'm not saying that you called us for nothing, I'm just saying.. that the book is not really a, 'Special topic'.
"But wait! I read the first page and its says,
"To whoever reading this book, I must warn you that it contains various spells that may open to different dimensions. Please be careful when activating these spells, as they might cause trouble."
"Sounds like fun!", Pinkie jumped up and down excitedly.
"Oh.. I.. I don't think we are supposed to mess around with that book.. I mean.. what the author says might be true..", Fluttershy added, hiding her face in her long pink mane.
"Trouble? Hah! We've defeated the Lord of Chaos, Nightmare Moon, and even Tirek! What could that book possibly have to stand up to those monsters!", Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"DISCORD IS NOT A MONSTER!", Fluttershy said defensively.
"Well as long as we ain't doin' one o' those spells, Ahm' fine."
Twilight shook her head, "Uh uh. We are definitely going to test one out!", she opened a random page, and squealed with interest.
"Well! I found one! Let's try it out!"
The other 5 ponies gave each other nervous glances, as Twilight pictured the spell in her head.
Before they were able to escape, a scarlet aura pulled them into a weird 'wormhole'. Yells and screams filled the cold air, as the Mane 6, (and Spike) were sucked into the green portal.
Twilight opened her eyes, amazed at the same time, worried. What happened? Where are her friends? Are they still alive? Where is she? Where are THEY? Thoughts came rushing into her mind, she decided it would be best to not panic, since panicking doesn't solve anything.
"Twilight? Care to explain where in they HAY we are??", she looked up, seeing Rainbow Dash hovering in the air.
"Well, I'm not sure..", she looked around, seeing her six friends, all together and safe. But that's not all she saw. The whole area, the whole world she was in, was made of.. cubes!
"Okay.. I really don't know what world this is..", she said solemnly. Twilight looked down, she saw 10 red hearts, and 10 .. uhh.. well she isn't sure what they are called. But they looked like one of those 'drumsticks' she used to eat in the other dimension. And a green-ish
translucent-ish hotbar.
"What are those!" (A/N: are you thinking what I'm thinking? No? Kay..) , Twilight said looking down.
"What are what dear?", Rarity sent her a confused look.
"Don't you see anything like.. Here??", Twilight gestured her hoof to the hotbar, but the others can't seem to figure out what she was trying to point out.
"What do you mean? All I see at the bottom of my perspective is this weird looking.. bar.. Uhh.. With hearts and some weird baseball bats!", Rainbow Dash added.
"Exactly! What are these things?!", Pinkie asked.
"Well, I ain't got time to figure out what 'these things' are! Ah'm starvin'! Wait here! Ah think Ah see an apple tree.", Applejack trotted towards the tree, and gave it a large buck. What happened next was beyond her prediction. The part she bucked, broke and shrunk into a smaller piece of log! Leaving the tree hovering in the air.
"APPLEJACK!" her friends cried in worry, running towards her.
"Are you okay?"
"What did you do?"
"How is it hovering in the air?"
"Did you get an apple??"
"ENOUGH!", she yelled out. "Honestly, Ah don't know what's up with this tree. Ah didn't get an apple, a piece of the trunk broke, but AH GOT A LOG!"
"Well, that's odd enough.... BUT REALLY EXCITING!", Pinkie said. The pink mare ran towards the tree, giving it a hard buck.. with her face. Surprisingly, it broke. The tree trunk, not her face. It shrunk, and got sucked into her chest, and appearing again inside one of the boxes in the 'hotbar'.
"PINKIE PIE! WHAT IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA DID YOU JUST DO?", Twilight yelled.
"I don't know! But what I do know, is that if you break something, it will shrinkthenitwillappearinoneoftheboxesinsidethehotbarthiingie!"
"What?", the other six said in unison. Spike, who has been quiet the whole time, decided it would be best to try it out himself.
he started to move towards the hovering tree, and punched the lowest part with his claw. 'Huh. It didn't hurt. It didn't break either.' He tried again, and again, and punching it again, until in finally broke, and as Pinkie said, it got sucked into his chest, and appeared in the hotbar.
"Hey! It really works!", Spike said satisfied. But what would he do with a log? He could make wood... Just as he thought about wood, he saw a much bigger 'screen'. In front of him was a large 2x2 grid, he saw the log being put in one of the grids, and beside it, a chunk of wood appeared in the smaller box. It appeared in his hotbar, and he saw a number '4' beside it.
"Spike! What did you do? And why are you holding.. wood?"
"I don't know! I just thought about making it and.. well it appeared!"
"Well, the sun's going down... We need to find some shelter. Come on. I think I see a cave just a mile away.", Twilight lead the gang to a small cave, just enough to be their only shelter.
"Welp. I guess it's not too bad..", Rainbow Dash said looking around.
"ARE YOU KIDDING? THIS PLACE IS DREEAAADFUL! I MEAN, LOOK AT ALL THE DIRT! AND THE DUST! EWWW! AND DON'T EXPECT ME TO SIT ON THE FILTHY STONE FLOOR! THIS IS JUST.. UNACCEPTABLE!", Rarity complained. The others traded annoyed glances, while Rarity was finding a 'decent' place to rest her hooves.
"Rarity, Ah swear if ya complain about a single thing, Ah'm gunna throw ya out!", Applejack mused.
"APPLEJACK! That's no way to speak to a friend!", Fluttershy reminded.
"Gawd, will you guys just please shut up already?!"
"Me? But what in the hay did ah' do??"
"Well, for one you threatened me. Two, you YELLED in my ear."
"Well that ain't mah' fault! You were complainin' like a little foal!"
"Humph! If you hate my voice you might as well just say it!"
"Ahm' not saying that! Ahm' saying that you should sto-", Applejack was cut of by a scary moaning sound coming from outside. It was already dark, hence they couldn't see anything clearly.
"W-what.. What was that??", Fluttershy shivered.
"WAAAHHHHAH! ZOMBIEEEE!", Spike hid behind Twilight, shivering and scared.
"Uh oh..", Twilight said as the zombie came closer. More zombies came approaching. They were surrounded.
"Now what??", Rarity moaned.
"WE KICK THEIR FLANKS!", Rainbow Dash said eagerly and started punching them one by one.
The others nodded, and started to join the fight.
Twilight used her magic to flip the zombies over.
Pinkie threw them with her party cannons.
Rarity yelled in her most highest pitched voice.
Fluttershy used her tail to whip them.
Applejack gave them a big buck in the face.
Rainbow Dash speed kicked them in the face. (A/N: Idk if that's even a thing..)
"Well, we got rid of them. Now, I think we should get some rest.. We need our energy to.. do whatever we're supposed to do here. We'll find a way out.", Twilight said. Just as Rarity was about to complain, Applejack gave her a cold glare.
'Looks like our adventure will have to continue tomorrow'
"So, are we ready to go?", Twilight asked her friends, making sure they're ready.
"Sure! I mean, it's not like we actually brought anything here..", Spike looked around the cave. It sure was not a pleasant view. Dirt and mud everywhere, cracked rocks, dust, basically all things filthy.
"Ooookay. Let's get movin'!", Rainbow Dash said enthusiastically.
The ponies walked for miles and miles, their hooves tired from the long walk. They stopped as they saw some weird buildings.. Made of cobblestone and wood.
"What the hay? Is this a.. village?", Applejack questioned. As if on queue, three tall, tanned, bald ponies exited one of the homes.
"Hummm...", the one with a white coat mumbled.
"Heh..", said the purple one.
"Huh hummm..", nodded the one with a white apron.
"Excuse me, but.. can you tell us where we could find.. shelter? Or at least a comfortable place to stay? That's not a cave?", Twilight asked.
"Heh..", the one in white nodded, leading the ponies into a cottage.
"Huh huumm...", he nodded.
"Wow, um.. thank you very much! We really appreciate your hospitality!", Twilight thanked them. He nodded, and proceeded to walk away.
"Welp.. Might as well as explore this place! We got a place to stay.. So why don't we explore the village?", she asked. The others nodded in agreement.
While walking through the path, the ponies saw a stone house, with no door, but it has a.. lava pool on the porch. (A/N: i dk...)
"Hmm...", Twilight walked in and saw a brown coated pony wearing a black apron. She waved, and the villager pony gestured towards the small chest.
"Uhm excuse me.. what?", Rainbow Dash asked. The villager once again gestured towards the chest.
"I guess we should open it?", Twilight said uncertainly. The villager nodded with a smile.
Inside the chest, she saw 6 Chainmail chestplates, 6 Iron helmets, 6 iron boots, 4 iron pickaxes, two iron swords, 16 apples, and a tiny set of chainmail armor.
"Heh...", the villager smiled. Somehow, it seems as if he wanted the ponies, (and Spike) to keep the wonderful items.
"Wow.. Uhm.. Are we supposed to.. keep them or something?", Twilight said uncomfortably. She felt bad saying those words, as if she was asking for the items.
To her surprise, the villager smiled, and nodded,"Huh hmmm.."
"Wow! Thanks Mr.Villager! We toootally appreciate it! This is awesome!", Rainbow Dash leaped up in the air.
"Thank you very much!"
"Yeah! Thanks!"
"We really appreciate it!"
"Thanks! I-I'm sure these will be very useful.."
"Thank you, dear!"
The ponies left the house, and went back to their semi-permanent home.
"Wow! He sure was nice! I mean, look at these cool armor!", Rainbow Dash said excitedly.
"Okay! Let's distribute these! I'm sure they'll come in handy if some.. monsters ever attack us again.", Twilight said.
After everypony (and Spike) got their own share of armor and gear, the sun settled and day turned to night.
"Guuuuuuuuuh!"
"EEEEK! Wh-what was that??", Fluttershy hid her face with her hooves.
Doors were opening and closing, and all villagers rushed inside their homes for shelter.
"Zombies.... They're back..", Twilight said as she looked out the window.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go kick some zombie-flanks!", Rainbow Dash exclaimed and flew out the door. The others following.
"Oh my, well this is certainly filthy!", Rarity gazed upon a slayed zombie, as it dropped rotten meat by her hooves. Rarity shook her head, and continued to kill more zombies with her pickaxe.
"Well that certainly went weeeee-EHEEELLL!", Pinkie yelled as she was struggling to fight off a gigantic spider.
"Waaaaah! That greeen thing is chasing me!", Twilight ran and tried to shoot a creeper with magic.
"Oh crap!"
"EEEK!"
"Well ya'll deserve a buck in the face!"
"Ahahahahaaa!"
"Shoot!"
"RUUUUUUN!"
The next morning, the mane six and Spike woke up, in front of their village home. Surrounded by villagers.
"Huuuh.."
"Heh hemm.."
"Heh!"
"Uhm.. what??", Spike sat up, seeing blurry brown and white figures surrounding him.
Twilight moaned, "UHHoww... Wait, what happened?"
"I don't know... Maybe something... attacked us and we.. passed out?", Spike looked confused.
"Well that obviously ended... 'well'.", Rainbow Dash mumbled, still half awake.
"Heh..", a villager smiled.
"Okay, dude, you're creeping me out.."
"Well that's the last of it."
"Are you sure it's best if we leave? I mean, what if we can't find another place to stay?", Fluttershy asked.
"Come on! I mean, we've got armor and gear! We are unbeatable! And if any monsters happen to appear again, we can always just fight em' off!", Rainbow Dash looked down proudly on her iron sword.
"Right, and it seems to be that if we want to get back home, we need to find a 'stronghold' and as I remember, we are supposed to fight off a big and mean... monster. And according to the book, it isn't easy to do.."
"Well, we'd better get goin'! We ain't wanna waste our precious time'.", Applejack turned and started to walk through the door.
After everypony said their goodbyes to the villagers, they started the long walk to who-knows-where.
They stopped as they encountered a desert biome, and saw a big desert temple, standing tall before them.
"Whoah...", Rainbow Dash gazed at the design on the front of the temple.
"It's a desert temple! Wow! There must be some treasure in it!", Pinkie hopped excitedly to the entrance of the sand building. Only to be disappointed when she found out there were no treasure chests in sight.
"But, there's supposed to be treasure! Awwwh..", she looked down to her hooves an her ears drooped down.
But Twilight found a solution to Pinkie's problem.... "Guys! Look!"
"There's this purple block! And it's in the center! Hm....", Twilight kept punching the purple block until it broke, showing an entrance to the treasure room.
"Yay! Treasure!", Pinkie made a big leap into the hole, only to be stopped by a magical purple aura.
"Don't! It's a trap! You see that pressure plate there? It might activate a trap!", Twilight pointed towards the stone pressure plate. From afar, Twilight used her magic to break the stone pressure plate.
"Okay, I think it's safe now.", Twilight said as she flew into the treasure room.
"Come on, it's safe! Let's loot some chests!"
After a few minutes in the treasure chamber, The Mane Six and Spike came out with a whole bunch of loot.
"So, we've got 9 diamonds, 5 iron ingots, 3 gold ingots, 4 golden apples and 2 enchanted ones.", Twilight said as she looked over all the items.
"I have ta' say, this is a whole of loot!", Applejack said proudly.
"Well, I think it would be best if we stay here for now. This could be our shelter. Let's light up some torches and block the entrance.", Twilight ordered.
At the end of the day, The Mane Six and Spike fell asleep tired, and dreaming about their adventures the next day.
