Okay I have this fic on Deviantart called Twilight and Blueblood’s wedding on my username Leebo4. I thought I could develop it into a large story and because there are few stories of this ship which I think is a very underrated ship. I am what you would call a multi shipper and I like to pair my fave pony Twilight with the likes of Discord, Soarin, Spike, Big Macintosh and yes even Blueblood. Also for a good fic of this ship though a little sad and yet to be completed please check out Devotion by twogunkid and Royal Courtin by PotatoJoe (though the 2nd one has the biggest WTF ending I have ever read in a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fic ever).
In Canterlot Castle Prince Blueblood the nephew of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna the rulers of Equestria was resting in his room. He was thinking of those common mares that all surrounded him expecting him to be their prince charming or something like that. It was partially why he didn’t like commoners so much.
To him they were all the same.
Except for Twilight Sparkle.
He renembered her from when he attended his Aunt Princess Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns. She was her aunt Celestia’s personal student in the school and while she was never actually his friend she was civil to him and didn’t act all gaga towards him like the other mares do and while he don’t think he would ever admit it he did find her pretty for a mare who was technically a commoner.
He renembered before she moved to Ponyville out in the outside the other mares of the school would follow him while he would spot Twilight lying on the grass read one of her books.
When Twilight moved to Ponyville Blueblood had felt like he had lost the closest thing to a friend that he ever had, ironically the mare that interacted with him the least.
When he learned she would be at the Grand Galloping Gala he was a little overjoyed in the inside which he kept well hidden, unfortunately he didn’t have any time to spend with her as she was always with his aunt Princess Celestia and he kept being followed by some white unicorn mare who he kept being especially jerkish towards so she would storm off and then leave him alone.
And in the end of it she managed to get cake on his best clothes which he picked out hoping to swoon Twilight for a dance. He cursed that stupid mare as he put it in the wash and swore to make that mare pay for that if he ever had the misfortune of seeing her again.
Blueblood then decided to go downstairs. Walking across the palace he then saw an open door. Curiously looking inside he saw his aunt Princess Celestia talking to her captain of the Canterlot royal guards and Twilight’s older brother Shining Armor, his wife and Blueblood’s cousin Cadence and Twilight’s parents.
“I just don’t know what to do with my nephew Blueblood” his aunt was telling them.
“What about me?” thought Blueblood deciding to eavesdrop.
“His inability to keep a steady date and his rudeness towards normal ponies or ‘commoners’ as he calls them is starting to affect the lineage and his future” Princess Celestia explained to them looking concerned.
Blueblood grumbled, his aunt had sent him on a lot of blind dates to a lot of snobbish mares only looking for more attention and he was more than happy to get them to leave because of his attitude.
“We had thought it would be best if we had put him in an arranged marriage” said Cadence who was genuinely worried for her cousin.
Blueblood scoffed, it probably was going to be off to another rich snobbish mare from a well off family in Canterlot.
“Who to?” asked Shining Armor along with his parents.
“He has managed to scare off every mare we have set up for him” said Princess Celestia “I believe I can think of 1 mare that could work out for him!”
“Unlikely” thought Blueblood shaking his head.
“Who?” asked Twilight’s parents and Shining Armor.
“Yes who?” Blueblood thought curious as to who his aunt was talking about.
“I was thinking maybe Twilight would be the perfect answer since she and Blueblood got along pretty well when they were younger and I never heard Blueblood calling her a commoner” said Princess Celestia.
Blueblood did not expect that answer and his face showed a shocked look.
“You want us to marry Twilight off to your nephew?” asked Twilight’s father exasperated, Shining Armor did not like the idea and neither did his mother.
“It would do him some good” said Princess Celestia “and since it seems Twilight despite knowing the wonders of friendship is still keeping her head in the books to even think of romance. I had even asked her during the planning of the real wedding after the Changeling invasion and she quite plainly told me she doesn’t think she ever wants to pursuit a romantic relationship!”
“Think of it this way” said Princess Celestia to Twilight’s brother and parents, Cadence had accepted it but was still unsure “it could do both of them some good!”
“But aren’t they technically related due to Shining Armor and Cadence’s marriage?” asked Twilight’s mother.
Blueblood was thinking of the same thing.
“I check the laws and as long as they are not blood related there is no rules against it” Princess Celestia said.
After thinking it over Twilight’s dad said “I guess it would be okay as long as Twilight is fine with it!”
“I will go to Ponyville myself to tell her!” said Princess Celestia. The group then heard the door opening and saw Blueblood standing at the doorway looking shocked and speechless.
The group then gasped realising he must have heard their conversation.
“How much did you hear cousin Blueblood?” Cadence asked fearing the answer.
“I heard enough” Blueblood then said before fainting.
The next day Blueblood early in the morning was pacing back and forth in his room as he had a servant check through a royal Canterlot book on law. “Well?” he asked once the servant was done.
“I am afraid it’s all legal” the servant said “as long as you and Ms Sparkle are not blood related then it’s legal and until parents, carers or guardians of somepony can enter them into a marriage before they turn 21!”
Blueblood cursed being a year too young to escape this, he had recently turned 20 few months back and he knew Twilight was 2 years younger making her 18.
“You are excused” said Blueblood shaking his head, the servant then bowed and went out of his room leaving Blueblood to his thoughts. It seemed as though there was no way for him to get out of this.
“Maybe it won’t be so bad” Blueblood thought. He absolutely couldn’t stand commoners always chasing after him expecting him to be their prince charming or something. Twilight was the only exception to this; the only commoner he could stand and the only one not go gaga over him. All the other commoners he has met left a bad impression on him.....especially HIM!
Blueblood then shook the thoughts of him out of his head; it would only further aggravate him.
A little later on a carriage being driven by Pegasus members of the Canterlot royal Guard Blueblood, Cadence, Princess Celestia and Twilight’s parents he was being flown to Ponyville to talk to Twilight. Blueblood wasn’t wearing any of his fancy royal clothes as to not attract any unwanted attention.
They landed outside the entrance to Ponyville; Blueblood then went out to go look for Twilight while the others would wait until he came back with Twilight, they decided it would be good if Blueblood retrieved her because they didn’t want ponies attracted by the presence of Princess Celestia.
Blueblood then wandered into Ponyville and then started looking around for any sign of Twilight. His eyes widened when he saw the mare haunting his nightmares-the white unicorn Rarity who wouldn’t leave him alone at the gala, she noticed him and gasped out loud.
“YOU!” both Rarity and Blueblood yelled at the same time as Rarity angrily trotted up to him.
“So what are you doing here Mr I’m too royal to be polite?” asked Rarity.
“Can you please leave me alone” asked Blueblood “I really don’t have time to deal with you today!”
“Hmm I’m surprised you even heard of the word please” said Rarity “Mr Royal pain in the butt!”
“Hey you got cake on my best clothes” Blueblood retorted “I had spent 2 hours getting them perfect for the Gala!”
“Well excuse me” said Rarity. Applejack then came up to them.
“Who are you talking to Rarity?” asked Applejack but then she glared at Blueblood when she saw him.
“Well if it isn’t my lips are too delicate for common treats” said Applejack angrily.
“I really don’t have time for this!” Blueblood roared.
“What’s all this noise?” asked Twilight coming over. She then saw Blueblood and smiled.
“Hello Blueblood” said Twilight “long time no see!”
“Hello Twilight....” said Blueblood uneasily “my aunt Celestia wants to talk to you!”
Applejack and Rarity looked confused as the saw Twilight talking to Blueblood as if she knew him.
“Alright” said Twilight, she faced her 2 friends and said “I will see you two later!”
Twilight then left with Blueblood. “I must warn you” said Blueblood “I don’t think you are going to like what the news is about!”
“Nonsense” said Twilight “I’m sure the news won’t bother me much.”
“Prepared to be proven so very wrong” thought Blueblood.
Blueblood then showed her to the outside of Ponyville where Princess Celestia, Cadence, Shining Armor and Twilight’s parents were waiting for them.
“Princess Celestia, Shiny, Cadence, Mum and dad!” Twilight said happily and she then went and hugged them.
“What do you want to speak to me about?” asked Twilight.
The group looked uneasy and Princess Celestia said “well......due to him not being able to hold a steady date and his rudeness to the commoners as he calls them is starting to affect his future lineage”
“Still not changed much have you Blueblood?” asked Twilight.
“We thought the best solution........” said Princess Celestia who then gulped and continued “would be to put him in a marriage with you!”
“WHAT?” asked Twilight.
“You were the only mare he was able to be civil towards Twilight” said Princess Celestia “the only mare his age he never insulted for being a commoner!”
“Please understand we would never force you into this Twilight” said Twilight’s dad.
“It will be up to you if you want to go through with it” said Twilight’s mum.
Twilight with her shocked looked back and forth to her parents, brother, sister in law, her mentor and what could possibly be her future fiancé.
“What do you think of this Blueblood?” asked Twilight.
“I have no say in this” said Blueblood “I am still young enough to be entered into an arrange marriage against my will!”
“Can I have time to think it over and talk to Blueblood first?” asked Twilight.
“Of course Twilight” said Princess Celestia “there is no rush and take as long as you need to, even a few days! Blueblood, would you be alright with staying with Twilight as she thinks it over?”
Blueblood nodded slowly and Princess Celestia said “just please send a message via Spike if you need anything!”
Twilight and Blueblood then went back to Ponyville.

Twilight and Blueblood walked together back to Ponyville. They saw Applejack and Rarity along with Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
“Twilight......you know him?” asked Rarity.
“We attended Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns together” said Twilight.
“Hmm” said Rarity “at the Gala he was such a stuck up jerk!”
“Ya got that right!” said Applejack.
“Let me guess he was getting onto you for being commoners?” asked Twilight.
Rarity then looked shocked and said “you knew what he was like? Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I thought it could teach you a lesson about judging a pony by his cover” Twilight said sheepishly.
Rarity then huffed and Twilight said “we need to tell you girls something! Let’s do it in the library!”
They nodded and they went to the library where Spike was there.
“Hiya Twilight, hiya everypony” said Spike “and then added after noticing Blueblood ”oh Blueblood haven’t seen you since me and Twilight moved to Ponyville!”
“What do you want to speak to us about Twilight?” asked Rainbow Dash.
“Well Princess Celestia and my parents....” said Twilight “kind of....arranged a marriage between me and Blueblood!”
“WHAT?” Spike and the rest of the ponies except Pinkie shouted.
“But they have gave me a say if I want to go through with it” said Twilight.
“Twilight he is a stuck up jerk” said Applejack “you can’t go through with this!”
“I agree!” huffed Rarity.
“OH BOY!” said Pinkie “another wedding! Congratulations Twilight, I was hoping you might find a stallion one day!”
“Uh Pinkie” said Twilight.
“We must get to the planning! It would be a challenge to outdo your brother’s wedding but I think it would be possible!”
“Pinkie” Twilight said trying to get her friend’s attention.
“For the reception party we must have streamers and balloons! A party without streamers and balloons is like cookies without milk!”
“Pinkie” Twilight tried again only this time a little louder.
“I can design an event better party cannon! Maybe even make more! Several party cannon displays in one wedding party!”
“Pinkie!”
“I wonder If can get my sister Octavia to join me for a duet? It would be just like old times when we used to sing Farming these Rocks-”
“PINKIE!!!!!!”
“Gee Twilight” Pinkie said holding her head with her hooves “no need to shout!”
“Sorry Pinkie” Twilight said “but I still need to decide if I want to go through with it or not!”
“The voice is obvious Twilight dear” said Rarity “here‘s the only logical choice plain and clear: don’t go through with it or else you will be forever doomed to spend the rest of your life with a stuck up loyal brat!”
“I am standing right here!” shouted Blueblood.
“We all know that” said Applejack “mah noise can hardly stand the stench of your loyal bratness!”
“That’s not even a word” retorted Blueblood.
“Don’t you go using your chancy grammar check on me!” said Applejack.
Twilight stepped in before things got too out of hand.
“Please calm down girls” said Twilight and everything settled down a little.
“I think I know how you two feel of the thing!” said Twilight looking at Rarity and Applejack who were still glaring at Blueblood.
“And I think I know how you feel about this Pinkie” said Twilight to Pinkie who in her mind was still thinking of ideas for the reception party.
“What do you think Rainbow Dash?” asked Twilight.
“Blueblood kind of sounds like a jerk” said Dash which earned her a glare from Blueblood “but perhaps a married life could do you so good, get your face out of those books!”
Twilight huffed and asked Fluttershy “what about you Fluttershy?”
“Well.....” said Fluttershy “I kind of had been thinking a good stallion is what you need Twilight and I think any children that would result from it would be just adorable!”
Twilight and Blueblood both blushed a little, they hadn’t even thought of the possibility of.....making little foals when they heard the news.
“How about you Spike?” asked Twilight facing Spike.
“I would be alright with it” said Spike earning a glare from his crush Rarity “Blueblood was pretty nice to me when you and him were at the school!”
“Spikey you can’t possibly be talking about the jerk here?” asked Rarity.
“Can you all please leave us alone so Blueblood and I can have a talk” said Twilight. Everyone but Twilight and Blueblood left although Rarity and Applejack did so begrudgingly.
Before she left however Applejack said to Blueblood “you say anything hurtful to Twilight mah will give you a good bucking!”
“What do you feel about this thing Blueblood?” Twilight asked.
“I don’t have a say in this” said Blueblood.
“But what if you did” asked Twilight “would you go through with it if you had a say in the matter?”
After a minute Blueblood muttered something.
“Sorry didn’t hear that” said Twilight.
“Yes” said Blueblood a little louder.
“Sorry?” Twilight asked.
“Yes!” Blueblood said louder this time.
“You would?” asked Twilight surprise.
“Yes I would” said Blueblood “you were the only mare I knew other than my cousin Cadence who didn’t try and hassle me after my fame, royal perks or expecting me to be their storybook true love! You were nice to me without trying to gain something from it!”
Blueblood then looked embarrassed and said “and I thought you looked pretty.”
“You did?” asked Twilight astonished.
“Yes” said Blueblood nodding “still do matter of fact!”
Twilight realised if she didn’t accept it Blueblood might never find another mare who wouldn’t swoon over him and such.
“I think I made my choice!” said Twilight.
“And?” asked Blueblood.
“I think I will go through with it” said Twilight.
“Great” said Blueblood unable to hold back a smile.
“I am going to write a letter to Princess Celestia about my choice” said Twilight.
“I need to write a letter to Aunt Celestia as well” said Blueblood “for some money!”
“Why?” asked Twilight.
“To buy a ring” said Blueblood “I we are going to do it, we might as well do it properly!”
Twilight could not help but laugh a little at that statement.
"We might as well" said Twilight smiling. They then got to work on their letters.
