James is turned into a pony and is adjusting to his new life as one
After making the decision of a lifetime, James now resides in Equestria as a pegasus, now called Lightning Bolt. He must adapt to his new life and doesn't know that decisions lead to disaster sometimes, also certain changelings get involved...
The portal dispersed behind us, the group went back to their homes and stores. I slowly scanned Ponyville's sight, Rainbow Dash tapped my on my shoulder to get my attention.
"What's up?" I asked Rainbow Dash, turning toward her.
"Since it is still daytime, how about I show you around Cloudsdale, Lightning?" She asked me.
"Sounds good, and it gives me a chance to try out my new wings." I said, spreading my wings.
"Ok, keep up with me though." She said
Rainbow Dash spread her wings and took to the skies, she hovered a few metres from the ground. She was waiting..... I spread and flapped my wings and pushed off from the ground, I hovered above the ground and flew towards Rainbow Dash. I reached where she was flying, she looked at me with surprise.
"For a first-timer, you learn quickly...." She commented.
"Yeah, it just feels natural" I said
"Come on, I'll show you Cloudsdale!" She said enthusiastically
We both flew high above Ponyville to the large formations of clouds in the sky above, we arrived at Cloudsdale. Several cloud structures that resembled houes and work-place were laid out across the span of it. Some of them had similar architecture to roman buildings, I stopped my surveillance when Rainbow Dash snapped me back to reality.
"You coming or are you going to stare at it all day long?" She teased
"Sorry, some of the buildings remind me of roman buildings back on Earth." I explained for my daydreaming.
"Lightning.... you have to let Earth go, this is where you really belong." She broke the news to me.
"I will, it just reminds me of it." I responded, I had to let my world go and embrace Equestria.
We landed on the soft surface of Cloudsdale, Rainbow Dash first took me to the weather factory. We had to put on white hard-hats and construction vests. We walked through the weather factory, we passed many facilities. I was intrigued, I stopped Rainbow Dash and asked "Pegasi make several weather outcomes, what about rainbows?"
"Yeah, I'll show you if you want." She answered as we trotted off to the rainbow station.
Several basin-shaped clouds containing the several colours of the rainbow were suspended above a larger basin held at ground level. The larger basin contained stripes of the rainbow, I inspected it closely. I dipped my hoof into the basin and pulled it out. Upon my hoof was a mix of rainbow colours.
"I don't know what's in this, so I'm not eating it..." I said cautiously to myself, looking upon the liquid on my hoof.
"Good idea, Lightning." I heard coming from Rainbow Dash "Rainbows aren't known for their flavour."
I shook the rainbow liquid off my hoof and looked at Rainbow Dash. She stared back at me, like I was her love interest. I wasn't ready to find out what she was thinking.
"Rainbow Dash!" I heard from somewhere, looking around to find who called her.
"Who was that?" I asked suspiciously.
Rainbow Dash opened a hole in the cloud and was looking down at a pink pony.
"It's just Pinkie Pie, she is one of my friends." She answered me.
Pinkie Pie noticed me and called to Dash.
"Dashie, who's your friend? Can I meet him?" Pinkie Pie asked as she jumped around in joy.
Rainbow Dash and I flew down to the pink pony waiting to meet me.
"I haven't seen you before, did you just arrive here? Pinkie Pie asked joyfuly
"Yeah, I just arrived here from Appeloosa. Yer friend Rainbow Dash here became friends quickly after seeing some common interests in us both." I said casually with my Australian accent
"Appleloosa? That's where Applejack's cousin Braeburn lives!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly, prancing about the spot.
"Cool, name's Lightning Bolt, Pinkie" I introduced myself, keeping along with my accent.
"Lightning Bolt, huh? I'll just call you Sparky!" She said "I gotta go, see you later, Sparky!" She left as she trotted off to a store.
I turned to Rainbow Dash, she had a surprised look in her face. "You sound like Applejack, Lightning" she said oddly as to my accent.
"Your friend Pinkie is a little.... odd." I said
"That's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie, c'mon I'll introduce you to the others" Rainbow Dash said reassuringly
We headed to a building carved out of a tree, Rainbow Dash knocked on the door and entered. I followed her inside to be met with a purple unicorn.
"Who is this, Rainbow Dash?" The purple unicorn asked as she took sight of me.
"This is Lightning Bolt" Rainbow Dash said as she turned to me "Lightning Bolt, this is Twilight"
I walked up to Twilight and held out my hoof "Name's Lightning, pleasure to meet you."
Twilight shook hoofs with me and said "My name is Twilight Sparkle, star pupil of Princess Celestia, nice to meet you too"
I thought to myself (No need to go tooting your own horn, y'know?)
"Impressive library you got here" I said as I looked around her house.
"Thank you" She said to thank me for my compliment
Rainbow Dash signalled me to go, I glanced over my shoulder and said to Twilight "See you later"
We both walked to what was called Sweet Apple Acres, I found it was farm and apple-place, I looked around as we walked in. Rainbow Dash stopped me from walking any further. We approached a orange earth pony who donned a Old West settler hat.
"Well if it isn't Rainbow Dash..." she started to say as she saw me "Who's y'er friend here?"
I walked up to the earth pony and said "Name's Lightning Bolt, I take it y'er Applejack?
"You making fun of my accent, bucko?" She said as if I had offended her
"No need to be aggressive, mate. I'm from Appleloosa" I explained for my accent
"Oh, sorry 'bout that. It's just that I tend to take it seriously when y'er the only one who speaks with an West accent" She explained her earlier aggression
Again, I thought to myself (Jeez, it's like I hooked her up to a lie detector. She spewin' her guts out)
"No harm done, Applejack." I said as I held out my hoof.
She shook hoofs with me and left me for her jobs.
I walked back over to Rainbow Dash and we both left. On the way we started talking
"I told you that you sounded like Applejack!" She said positively
"Yeah, I know" I said truthfuly "Where we headin' next, Dash?
"To Rarity's, she is a bit fashiony...." She said awkwardly
"Fashiony, you mean fancy-smancy dresses encrusted with jewels and that?" I answered her own question
"Yeah, like that" She replied
Five minutes later, we made our way to some sort of beauty parlor. We stood outside the parlor door. I reached in my jacket pocket and pulled out a blue gem.
"A sapphire? Since when did I have a sapphire in my jacket?" I asked myself
"Beats me...." Rainbow Dash said, standing near the door.
A white unicorn with a purple mane answered the door. She greeted us and let us inside.
"Hello, Rainbow Dash. Who is your friend?" Rarity asked, glancing at me
"This is Lightning Bolt. Lightning, this is Rarity." Rainbow Dash
I walked over to Rarity and said "Hello, name's Lightning Bolt."
"Hello Lightning, my name is Rarity." Rarity introduced herself
She looked at my clothes in advance to our introduction. I was wearing an old western blazer.
"You have interesting clothing choices, Lightning!" Rarity said oddly
"C'mon Lightning, it's getting dark out. We best be heading off." Rainbow Dash said
"Right! I'm coming." I responded, following Rainbow Dash outside.
"What's wrong with my blazer?" I asked.
"Rarity is just like that, fashionista and all." Rainbow Dash explained "Let's head back to my place, it's getting late."
"Ok, lead the way!" I said, taking off into the sky
She took off and we flew into the sky above to reach Cloudsdale, we entered the housing district and I overheard a group of ponies talking about me.
"Who's that new pegasus Rainbow Dash is hanging out with?" One of the ponies said.
"I don't know, but if he's with Rainbow Dash. He's got to be cool...." I heard another say.
"What's all this rumoring and gossip about me already?" I said annoyingly.
"It'll eventually turn into good things, now that you're running with me." She said enthusiastically, letting off a light chuckle.
"I suppose so..." I said.
Rainbow Dash stopped me and pointed to the house in front of us. I assumed it was hers. I opened the door and stood aside.
"Ladies first..." I said politely, holding the door open
"Thanks, Lightning." She said, walking through the door.
Rainbow Dash blushed, but hid it away so I couldn't see it. She said in her thoughts "What a gentlecolt he is, holding the door open for me. He must really like me, and I like him very much back. I'll ask him out for a date one night and tell him how I truly feel. He must feel the same way."
It was getting dark and I was tired.
"I'm going to get some sleep, Rainbow Dash..." I said tiredly
"Me too, I'm beat..." She agreed, then let out a yawn
We headed for her bedroom and she opened the door. Pictures of her idols, the Wonderbolts were splayed out over the room. Sitting on a bed-side table was a picture of Sptifire, autographed by Spitfire herself. I uncovered the doona on the bed, I took off my blazer and put it in my duffel bag. Rainbow Dash laid down on the bed and pulled up the doona. I did the same afterwards.
I loved Rainbow Dash, but did she feel the same about me?
I woke up with Rainbow Dash lying next to me, I got off the bed and opened my duffel-bag. I pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill, I attempted to grasp the quill with my hoof several times but failed. I propped the quill in my mouth and wrote a note for Rainbow Dash. I put the note on the bed-side table near her, and I walked out of the bedroom and exited the house. I hoped to get an early start on the day and get things done. I flapped my wings and glided down to Ponyville, when I landed. I pulled a black trilby and a green trim as I walked through Ponyville and glanced at the stores and other buildings as I walked by. I put on the trilby and walked into a bakers store. I held onto my trilby as I walked into the door, I looked up at eye level and Pinkie Pie was standing in front of me.
"Hey, Sparky!" She said joyfully.
"Hi, Pinkie. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine, where's Rainbow Dash?" She inquired oddly
"She's still sleeping, I decided to get an early start." I explained why I was up early.
"Same here." She said.
"Listen, I have things to do, see you later." I said, tipping my hat to her.
"Oki-doki-loki." Pinkie Pie said, bouncing around happily.
I exited the store and went outside. Rainbow Dash was looking for me, asking random ponies if they had seen me.
"Psst" I called Rainbow Dash to an alleyway.
She walked twoard me and I leaned against a wall with my hat tipped down.
"I happen to know where your friend is, Rainbow Dash..." I said mysteriously
"Where is he? I've been looking for him all day.." She said, sighing in relief
"Who you are looking for, the answer is in front of you." I said, making a riddle.
I tipped my trilby upwards so Rainbow Dash could see my face.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash. So what's this about looking for me all day about?" I said, letting off a laugh
"Oh, Lightning you prankster you!" She laughed, and nudged me on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I know. Hey, Rainbow Dash?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"What was your job?"
"I'm a weather manager"
"Where do I sign up?"
Rainbow Dash guided me to the building whe she was given her job. I came out a minute later and told Rainbow Dash that I got the job.
"Let's see, make my house." I said to myself.
"I'll help with that!" Rainbow Dash added.
We flew through the sky lokking for a place for me to live. I pointed out a spot near Rainbow Dash's house and we started construction. We packed clouds to make solid walls and floors, within fifteen minutes we were done. I went inside my new house and put my bag of belongings in the living room.
"Now I don't have to lug that thing around anymore." I said, exhausted from the weight of the bag.
I looked at my calendar, it was August 2nd. My birthday was in 17 days. I took a quill and wrote Birthday on the August 19th square, Rainbow Dash saw the calendar and what I had written down.
"Hey, you want to go prank somepony?" She asked mischieviously
"I was thinking the same thing."
We left my house and went back down to Ponyville, we stopped near Twilight's Library.
"Twilight is our first target." She said, holding a small tub of invisible ink
"I see what we're going to do." I said, knowing what she had in mind.
"I'll distract her, then you run in and change the real ink with this invisible ink." She explained the plan.
"Ok, I'm ready when you are." I said in confidence.
"Hide in that bush until she leaves, and take this aswell." She said, handing me the invisible ink tub.
Rainbow Dash walked to the front door and knocked. Twilight answered the door. I was waiting in the bush, I heard them talking and heard them both take off.
I walked inside the house, quickly running over to where Twilight's ink tub is. I tipped out the ink and poured in the invisible ink, I quickly left and hid in a shrub.
They both came back and Twilight went inside. Rainbow Dash walked over to the shrub where I was hiding, she peaked over and said "Did you do it?"
"Let's just say that her writing will disappear into thin air." I said, chuckling.
We flew up to Twilight's balcony and waited for the reaction. Twilight was concocting an experiment with several different coloured liquids, she turned to the parchment and written something down. She turned back to the experiment and looked back to the parchment and saw that it was gone. She did the same and looked up at the balcony window when she heard our laughing. Rainbow Dash and I were on our backs laughing like there was no tommorow. Rainbow Dash held aloft the invisible ink tub for Twilight to see. We flew off and escaped from the vicinity.
"That was priceless!" She said, laughing "Good work, Lightning!"
"Yeah, the look on her face was priceless." I agreed, laughing.
I stood up and saw a grey mare with a yellow mane, wearing a satchel on her side fly into a building.
"Is she okay?" I asked Rainbow Dash, gesturing toward the mare.
"Yeah, that's just Derpy..." Rainbow Dash said plainly.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, I got to do something. I'll see you later." I said to Rainbow Dash.
"Ok, Lightning. See ya later." Rainbow Dash said as she zoomed off.
(Go to the Everfree Forest.....) I heard in my head.
I was curious and headed to the Everfree Forest, I walked inside the entrance and kept walking along the path. I came to a clearing near a lake. I wondered what had called me.
"You have answered my summons..." A voice had said.
"I'm here, show yourself." I said, quickly spinning around to the direction of the voice.
"All in good time, Lightning Bolt." The voice said as it emerged from the trees.
It was a tall alicorn-like insect. It had holes in it's mane, horn, hoofs and tail. It was midnight black with luminescent green eyes and insect-like wings.
"So you know me? Care to tell me your name too?" I had said, ready to attack if it was hostile.
"My name is Queen Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings!" She triumphantly shouted.
Other smaller changelings appeared out of the tree line behind Queen Chrysalis. They snarled at me viciously when they caught sight of me. One of them walked up to Queen Chrysalis and spoke in a language I didn't understand.
"Don't worry, dear. You need not to attack this one." Queen Chrysalis said, looking down at the changeling.
Queen Chrysalis looked back to me. She walked over to where I was standing, she looked at me and said "I have called you here for a reason, the prophecy predicted that you were to be alongside me in the conquest and downfall of Canterlot and Ponyville and soon Equestria."
"What prophecy, and how do you know I am to be allied with you?" I questioned.
She turned to the lake and said "Look at your reflection..." I looked into my reflection of the lake, nothing was different about me. A black cloud of smoke had engulfed it and my appearance changed drastically: I had grown to the size of Queen Chrysalis; holes had appeared in my hooves and hair. I had turned into a insect-like colt, with insect wings, and a small spot in my underside had appeared transparent, showing off my internal organs. A horn grew and bent in crooked angles, they also bore holes. It disappeared and reappeared in a wall-paper image, standing alongside Queen Chrysalis on the outlook of Canterlot. Ponyville was empty and barren. The picture faded and created another of a dark cavern filled with cocoons. Ponies were imprisoned in them. Changelings flew over Ponyville in the picture and had returned to the evil me and Queen Chrysalis on the hill. The images in the water faded as I withdrew from the lake.
"This couldn't happen, but it will. I haven't a choice." I went over what had just been shown to me.
I stopped pacing and walked toward Queen Chrysalis and stopped in front of her. I faced facts and kneeled before her.
"I am yours to do whatever you wish to me." I said as I pledged my allegiance to her.
"I'm glad you came around, come with me…." She said evilly, and lead me to a large nest.
We were about to enter when she cast a spell on me, the spell emitted an orb around me. "The neurotoxin will kill you in one minute, this will protect you while you are transformed into a changeling, only then you will be immune to it." She explained the spell as we walked into the hive. I felt a slight pain when after the spell had been cast.
We entered a breeding chamber filled with cocoons.
"Just go into one of those and await the transformation" She explained
I entered the cocoon and a changeling sealed it, a dark liquid excreted from the walls of the cocoon. The liquid knocked me out. Darkness surrounded me and the liquid swirled around my body. I felt changes to my body and I awoke from the transformation. I saw Queen Chrysalis maliciously smiling from my cocoon, I was fulfilling my destiny of being a Changeling King.
The liquid was absorbed and then the cocoon opened, I stepped out in my new form, just like it was in the lake. Queen Chrysalis walked up to me and declared "You are now known as King Firefly!"
"I am honoured, my Queen…" I said to Queen Chrysalis.
"I will call you when you are needed, until then, go back to your original form." She said
I changed from my evil form to my Pegasus form, I shrunk back down to my original size and left the hive. I went back into Ponyville and Rainbow Dash sky-tackled me. We slid into the side of a building and Rainbow Dash got off me.
"Found him!" Rainbow Dash called to her friends then turned to me.
"Lightning! Where have you been? We've been looking for you everywhere!" Rainbow Dash asked me.
I stood up and said " I went for a stroll in the Everfree and got lost, but I'm back now."
"Good to see that you're safe." Twilight said to me when the group arrived.
"Oh my gosh, you're all filthy." Rarity added when she saw me.
"Well, it happens when a Pegasus spear-tackles you into the grass." I said, brushing some of the dirt off.
"Heh heh, sorry about that…." Rainbow Dash said
"It's all good, Rainbow. You don't have to be sorry." I said, putting on my trilby.
"You seem alright about anything, you don't get angry much, do you?" Applejack asked.
"It's not worth getting upset about some things, you just have to deal with it." I answered.
The group and I started walking around Ponyville, talking about social and random things.
"You said before you were from Appleloosa, you met my cousin Braeburn?" Applejack said
"Can't say I have. Appleloosa is a nice town, after all the buffalo stopped bothering the residents about the orchard ." I answered Applejack.
"Have any relatives in Equestria?" Pinkie Pie asked me.
"Relatives….. I'd rather not talk about that if you don't mind…." I said sadly.
I had not spoken to my (human) parents in a long time. But Rainbow Dash and the rest did not know that.
"I'm sorry for asking, Sparky…." Pinkie Pie said.
"It's alright Pinkie, you didn't know. Any other questions?" I asked the group as we trotted along a road.
"Where in Equestria did you get that fancy hat?" Rarity asked.
"Oh this? I got this in a fancy clothing store in Manehattan." I said.
"It looks nice on you…" Rarity complimented.
"Thanks, Rarity" I replied.
We stopped at a park. I noticed a extra to our group, a yellow furred Pegasus with a pink mane, I walked up to her and said "Hello I'm Lightning Bolt, what's your name?"
The yellow Pegasus didn't say anything for a while, I could tell she was the shy type.
She softly said "I'm Fluttershy, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too," I turned to Rainbow Dash "Why didn't you introduce me to her a few days ago?"
"She was busy caring for her animals, I didn't think she'd have time to meet you." Rainbow Dash explained.
"Look at us, dilly-dallying, we got to get ready for the Grand Galloping Gala." Twilight said.
"Grand Galloping Gala? Is that a festival?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Yes, it is." Twilight explained.
"Sounds cool, mind if I tag along with you six?" I asked.
"Sure, we're going in four hours." Rainbow Dash said.
"Ok, I've got four hours to kill until then, where we meeting?" I said
"The train station, it's being held in Canterlot." Twilight said.
"Ok, I'll see everypony in four hours." I said, walking away from the group.
I walked in the centre of Ponyville and took off into the fly, I flew to my house and opened the door. I went into a training room and opened a small chest, I put on a white ninja outfit, I returned to the centre of the room and went from all-fours to a bipedal position and focused. I cleared my mind of all thought and spin-kicked toward a training dummy, I flew into the wall and got my hoof lodged in it.
"Seriously? I can't be that bad after a few months!" I angrily said after dislodging my hoof from the wall. A heard a knock on the training room door, I walked over to the door and opened it, removing the lower part of my face-cover. Rainbow Dash was standing in front of the door. She noticed my outfit and walked in.
"What's with the get-up?" She asked.
"It's my ninja outfit." I said. "I'm not really a ninja, but I can defend myself with my constant training of Taijutsu."
"Tai-what-su?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Taijutsu, the art of unarmed combat,. I don't usually have to use it, only when friends or I are in danger." I explained.
I went back into focus and spun into a tornado of white. After slowly regaining focus I flying spin kicked at a training dummy, my hoof hitting it's target and taking off the head of the dummy. I landed on the floor and heard a thud as I got up. I turned to face the rest of the room and saw the dummy's head resting near Rainbow Dash's hoof. I took off my outfit and put it back in the closet. I took my hat off a coat-rack near the closet and put it on.
"Wow! Remind me to not get on your bad side, Lightning." Rainbow Dash said in amazement.
"You're a friend, none of my friends can get on my bad side." I assured her.
I looked at my hoof with my watch on it. We still had almost three hours left, I looked back to Rainbow Dash, her smile alone was the only thing that could make me happy. A sudden pain hit my head, I reeled over in pain and went into my bathroom and locked the door. Rainbow Dash followed me and knocked on the door.
"Lightning, are you alright?" Rainbow Dash called from outside the door.
"I'm fine, just give me a minute." I responded.
I turned on the water valves in my sink, the water rushed out and I splashed my face with it. I looked up into the mirror and saw that my right eye had turned luminescent green. I wiped my eyes to make sure I wasn't hallucinating from the head-ache, I looked back, same result. How was I going to hide this from Rainbow Dash, let alone the rest of the group. I opened the door and faintly walked out. I fell unconscious in front of Rainbow Dash. ------------------------------------------------------- "Doctor, is he going to be alright?" I heard faintly, gaining consciousness.
"I'm not certain, his right eye has turned green." The doctor pony said,.
I opened my eyes and sat upright. I caught sight of Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Rarity, Twilight, Applejack and Fluttershy.
"Lightning, are you alright?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I'm fine for the moment, what happened?" I asked.
"You came out of the bathroom and passed out, so I carried you to the hospital and I called the group." Rainbow Dash said.
I turned toward the doctor pony and faintly said "Do you know what's wrong with me?"
"Well, according to my charts. You have a rare condition that only can be obtained by being hypnotised by a Changeling."
A Changeling? I knew it was too good to be true. Queen Chrysalis hypnotised me when we went into the hive. And me being turned into a changeling only made her control over me more dominant, I had to fight the corrupted part of my mind if she tried anything. My willpower had to triumph over hers.
"A Changeling? But they haven't been around since the Royal Wedding." Twilight grieved.
"The symptoms are having your eye turn green, which you have." The doctor pony said, referring to my eye.
"Is there any way to cure it?" I asked him.
"There are two ways; One, you defeat whatever is controlling you, Two, a strong bond between you and another can overwhelm the hypnosis." He said my options.
"I'm not in any pain, so I'm fine." I said, getting out of the hospital bed.
"If whatever it is gains control again, you need to remain focused and try to fight it." The doctor pony said.
"I'll be sure to remember that." I said.
I looked at my watch, one hour until the Grand Galloping Gala.
"The Grand Galloping Gala is in one hour, we better get ready." Twilight said.
"I'll be fine to come, despite this." I said, the green eye disappeared and was replaced my original rose coloured eye.
"Your eye is fixed, now you won't stand out." Twilight said.
"I'll see you six at the train station in an hour." I said.
"Right, see you there Lightning." Rainbow Dash said as we left.
I flew to my house and went into my bedroom. I opened the closet and pulled out a black tuxedo and put it on. I slipped on my ninja outfit and a small katana in my tuxedo. I looked in the full-size mirror and admired myself. I spent the rest of the time walking to the train station. I caught sight of Rainbow Dash and the others, they were wearing beautiful formal dresses. Rainbow Dash's looked the best, it matched her own fur and mane. I walked up to the group and said "I'm here, everypony ready?"
They all turned around and noticed me in my tuxedo.
"Wow, Lightning. You look nice." Rainbow Dash said.
We all walked into the train, it took five minutes to get to the Canterlot train station. The group and I got off the train.
"All right, let's go!" I said confidently, walking in sync with the group.
We walked inside the entrance gates to where the Grand Galloping Gala was being held, I noticed a few guards near the castle doors.
(Must be because of the Princesses.) I thought.
The group stopped and looked around the Gala, I stopped to see what was doing. I scanned around for any Changelings, my sight not failing me. I caught sight of a food stall and said "I'm going to go get some food, do any of you want any?"
"No thanks, Lightning." Applejack said
"I'm good, Sparky." Pinkie Pie said.
"No thank you." Twilight said
"I'm starving, lets go." Rainbow Dash and Rarity said.
Rainbow Dash, Rarity and I walked over to the stall. I ordered three apple pies and we sat down at a nearby table and ate them. Applejack was at a apple stall, Twilight was probably with Princess Celestia and Fluttershy was at a garden enjoying nature. Me and Rainbow Dash talked for half an hour. After five minutes, Rarity trotted off to admire peoples dresses and tuxedos. I saw Soarin, Spitfire and several other Wonderbolts at a nearby table.
"I'll be back in five minutes, I need to use the bathroom." I said and got off from the chair.
"Ok, I'll be here when you get back." Rainbow Dash said.
I walked across the festival and entered the colts room. I had a bad feeling in my gut. -------------------------------------------------
"What if he suspects something, he could find out you were lying?" A Changeling asked.
"He won't realise it until it is too late." Queen Chrysalis said.
Queen Chrysalis walked outside the hive, a small army of sixty Changelings amassed outside. Queen Chrysalis walked among the first line and said "We will attack their festival when Lightning Bolt exits the party and goes out in the open."
Her horn glowed green and she cast a spell. ------------------------------------------------
I felt a sudden pain in my head when I exited the bathroom. Queen Chrysalis was trying to attack my mind again, I fought back against her and cast the pain out of my mind. I walked into the open of the party and stood ready.
Queen Chrysalis and a horde of Changelings zoomed in from the darkened sky and landed in front of me.
"So I see you've found out the truth, but you shall die with it!" She said aggressively
"I have seen the light, and so shall you!" I shouted as I threw a flash pellet against the ground.
During the flash, I took off my tuxedo that revealed my ninja outfit and I attached my sheathed katana to my back. I pulled up my ninja hood and braced for the flash to waver. The pellet faded and the light was cast against me and my foe. Queen Chrysalis had cast a field around her, the changelings and I.
"Lightning!" Rainbow Dash called.
"Stay there, I'll handle this.." I said, returning my gaze to Queen Chrysalis.
"Nice trick, too bad it won't save you." Queen Chrysalis sneered.
"I don't need tricks to defeat you. Only the light." I said.
A group of Changelings charged toward me, I jumped into the air and in one fluid motion; pulling several shruikens and threw them at the attacking changelings. They flew through the air and pierced the Changelings' skulls. They fell dead at my hooves, blood spilling out through their heads. I put out one hoof and landed, looking up slowly.
"Your minions reek of evil and darkness, whereas I am only light." I mocked.
Ten Changelings converged on my position, I swiftly pulled out a kunai and shanked the first Changeling in the gut. It snarled at me and I took out another kunai and stabbed it in the throat with my free arm.
"I'm sorry, you've a knife in your throat!?" I mocked and kicked the Changeling off my kunai. It flew off the knives and still lived as it hit the ground.
I quickly glanced at it and left it alone.
(It's already going to die, so I better not interfere with the course of life.) I thought.
Quickly snapping back to reality, I focused and divided half my energy into a lightning ball, it grew in power as long as I focused. I opened my eyes and grasped the lightning orb with my hooves.
"Hit the dirt!" I yelled to the others outside the bubble shield sealing us off from everypony else.
Everyone outside ducked under cover, but the Changeling Queen and her minions didn't stutter. I cast the lightning orb at the centre of the bubble and it exploded with great force that it blinded everyone. I heard an explosion when the flash went off. The blindness subsided and I got up from the ground, the Queen's minions were no more. I chuckled and fell down due to the fact that my energy was burned up.
"Lightning!" I heard Rainbow Dash shouted as she picked me up off the ground, I looked around where the lightning orb had been cast at. A crater was in my wake, the changelings were either electrocuted to death or were already vaporised. Queen Chrysalis was recovering from the fight.
"I'm fine, let me finish this.." I said faintly, lightly pushing her off me.
Princess Celestia flew down to where I was standing and pulled me backwards.
"She is defeated, do not waste your strength on her." She said softly.
"She is not defeated, I must purge her evil from this world, even if it kills me." I said ever so faintly.
I walked ten paces from where Queen Chrysalis was standing. A dead Changeling had my equipment splayed in its body. I pulled out a kunai and two shruikens from its rump and slid them into my belt. I looked back up from the crater, a few dozen ponies were spectating us from above. A recognised a few and noticed it was Twilight and her friends. Queen Chrysalis spear-tackled me and we both slid into the crater wall.
"You killed my minions, and now you shall share the same fate." She said angrily, her horn turned in a green glow.
"Warrior, take this!" I heard a guard yell, throwing a mirrored shield. I caught it and attached it to my arm.
Queens Chrysalis cast the spell, I pulled the shield in front of me and the spell rebounded into her. I bucked at her underside and she flew off me. I got up and drew my shruikens. I threw the shield at my foe, it struck her and shattered. Shrapnel flew in all directions, striking the crater walls and sticking in.
Queen Chrysalis recovered and charged at me; I flung a shruiken in her direction and it flew past her into the wall. I scuffed dust off my hoof and charged at her. We met at the middle, I slid under her and stuck a kunai into her ribcage. I quickly recovered from the charge and a green glow had engulfed me. Queen Chrysalis' horn was glowing and she tossed me against a wall. I got up, dazed from the attack.
"Throw me a spear! I need a polearm!" I yelled.
A Royal Guard's spear flew spearhead first into the dirt. I kicked it up and twirled it around, finally resting on my shoulder.
"Your petty weapons cannot kill me!" Queen Chrysalis shouted, pulling out the kunai I had stuck into her rib before and tossing it on the ground.
"Then what's that? Is that not blood?" I pointed to the small drops of blood coming from her gut.
"Very funny mortal! But when I defeat you, you are the one who shall bleed." She shouted.
I aimed my spear for her throat and charged; she started running too, with her horn glowing. We collided; the collision knocking us on separate sides of the crater. I looked down to my chest; a splinter of wood had found its mark in it. I looked across the crater, Queen Chrysalis had not been harmed; she was now making her way over to me, hoping to finish me off. I tugged at the splinter implanted in my chest and with great force, I tore it out, a large tear in my tunic and blood rushed down and coated the tunic in blood. Still on my back, I reached for my last shruiken with the blue gem in hand. I picked up the bladed projectile and spun it around my hoof. A blue gem fell out of my tunic and spun wildly; it came to rest a few inches from my position. I picked it up and it spoke to me……
"Use the Light to defeat the Dark, you will survive if you do this."
(This is my last shruiken and I'll bleed out soon. So I better make this count….)
"This is the day the great warrior, Lightning Bolt meets his end." Queen Chrysalis shouted triumphantly
(We'll see who meets their end after this…..)
I threw the shruiken at the approaching Changeling Queen, it started spitting white and red flames. It impaled her in the chest, she fell over paralysed. She wasn't dead, but paralysed was good enough. The guards would make quick work of her if I didn't live to do it myself. I blacked out, with Princess Luna and four Royal Guards rushing towards me before I did. -------------------------------------------------- 20 minutes later…..
I woke up and was pained by my wounds in the battle beforehand. I was resting against a tree with needles attached to blood packs stuck into my veins. I looked down at my chest, my tunic was still torn and bloodied; but the wound from the splinter was healed. A unicorn must have healed the hole, thank god they did. Lying against the ground near my hind hooves was the blue gem and my katana.
"Hello, are you okay?" A doctor pony asked.
I turned towards the doctor pony and said "I am now, I would have died if the splinter wound wasn't healed."
"You can thank the Princess and her star pupil for that." Dr. Sparks said.
(Star pupil? He must mean Twilight…)
Twilight and Rainbow Dash walked over to the tree where I was propped up against.
"You took a beating out there, Lightning. But you came through" Rainbow Dash said "You said you weren't a fully-fledged ninja, but out in the open with those knives and those stars, you were truly a combat-worthy friend."
"I said I only used my skills when others or I are in danger." I said.
"That spear collision you took was brutal, Princess Celestia closed the wounds you had been given and you should have near-full blood capacity." Twilight said.
"Thanks Twilight, if it weren't for you and Celestia, I wouldn't have made it." I said.
"If it weren't for you, everypony wouldn't have survived." Twilight remarked.
I got up and picked up the two items near my hooves, slinging the katana on my back and the gem in my pocket.
"What was all that about with you and the 'Light' being one?" Twilight asked.
"When I picked up the gem, it spoke to me. It said I needed to unlock my true potential by being one with and truly amount to my connection to it with being the companion of the representatives of the Elements of Harmony." I explained "But I have no idea who and what the Elements of Harmony are…"
"The Light….. Of course! I did some research on the matter and among a friends ranks was the hidden seventh element. The Element of Enlightenment!" Twilight said.
"Ok, I'm the representative of Light , but who are the representatives of the other elements?" I asked.
"We are!" Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack said in unison.
"I represent the Element of Honesty, letting friends know when they are in the face of trouble and never lying." Applejack said.
"I represent the Element of Kindness, putting a solution to anything without resorting to violence, and tending to a pony's or creature's flaws." Fluttershy said.
"I represent the Element of Generosity, lending a need or want to someone in need and not being greedy." Rarity said.
"I represent the Element of Laughter, laughing in the face of danger or anything scary and also teach other to as well." Pinkie Pie said.
"I represent the Element of Loyalty, never abandoning my friends for anything." Rainbow Dash said.
"And I represent the Element of Magic, the glue that sticks each of the other elements together." Twilight said.
"Ok, the Elements have been my friends after all." I said, smiling.
"Yay, we found the seventh element!" Pinkie Pie laughed.
"As you all now know, I represent the Element of Enlightenment, never giving in to the Dark and purging the world of evil in the name of Light." I said.
I pulled out my katana and twirled it around my hoof. "Now if you excuse me, I have some Dark to purge…" I said after getting interrupted by Princess Celestia.
"Chrysalis fled after you passed out and went into hiding. I suspect that she is going to gather her army once she recovers from the grave wounds you gave her. That may take her a while, so I suggest you wait until she comes back to finish business with you." Princess Celestia said.
"Fair enough, I'll come back to Ponyville with everypony. Just let me retrieve my weapons." I said to the group.
"Ok, I'll come with you while you do that." Rainbow Dash said.
We walked into the Gala and jumped down to where the crater was, I saw a flicker of light and walked over to a dead Changeling. I pulled a kunai from its throat, I examined the weapon, the blade was soaked in blood.
"What you pulled off there was awesome, Lightning." Rainbow Dash squealed in excitement.
"Awesome as you may think, I only killed because of three reasons…. One, Everypony was in danger. Two. There was a plethora of Dark in their beings, I as the Light must purge them. Three. I couldn't let Chrysalis go unharmed without doing large amounts of wounds to her unless I died."
"Oh, yeah…" She said plainly
"But I do agree it was awesome…" I said, slightly squealing over how cool I looked.
I looked down at my torn tunic and looked at the surroundings. I took the torn tunic off and threw it on a dead Changeling as I pried a shruiken from its gut. I looked over the bladed weapon.
"I can't believe this thing saved my life." I said, chuckling as I spun the weapon on my hoof.
"Saved your life?" She asked.
"This was my last one, when I threw it, it burst on white and red flames; wounding Chrysalis and stopping her from finishing me off." I explained.
We went back to Ponyville, I picked up my ninja outfit and put it back on. We went into Twilight's library and I uncovered my face.
"Why do you still have that ghastly thing on?" Rarity asked, pointing out the blood stains and cuts in my ninja outfit
"I don't know…., minus the cuts I look cool in it." I said "Listen, I'd better get some shut-eye before I pass out from exhaustion from the fight." I said.
Cloudsdale is where we live too, so we'll accompany you." Rainbow Dash said, nudging Fluttershy in the shoulder. I pulled up my hood and face-cover.
We flew to Cloudsdale and landed near the entrance gates. Ponies swarmed me left to right, with news reporters and camera ponies mixed in.
"Did you fight Chrysalis out of self-interest or the safety of the royalty and others?" A news-pony asked me.
"Listen, I'm not answering any detailed questions about the incident or of my identity, I only did what I did out of need to protect those who can't protect themselves, good day." I said mysteriously.
I walked out of them swarm and walked to the district with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
"Why didn't you answer anything?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I'll do it tomorrow, right now I'm exhausted from the lightning orb I threw." I said
"That was awesome! It was equally as awesome as my sonic rainboom." Rainbow Dash said
"I agree, next time I go out I'll wear this only without the hole. I have a few spares." I said
We arrived at my house and I stood inside the doorway.
"I'll see you tomorrow,." I said as I closed the door and locked it.
I walked up to my bedroom and took off the torn white ninja suit and put it down. I took off my katana, kunai and shruikens and put them on my dresser. It was one hell of a day.

I got in my bed, closed my eyes and went to sleep. ------------------------------------------- Next morning 7:30am.
I woke up slumped against my pillow, my gear scattered all over the room. I got up and picked up my torn suit from yesterday; the chest region was bloodied and splintered beyond recognition. I walked downstairs and stood in front of my training room door, I heard grunting and high-pitched yells from inside; I slowly opened the door and spotted a pony wearing a black ninja suit, the pony was not facing me, so I went for the surprise attack. I dove into the black-clad pony, tackling them into a wall.
"Who are you?" I asked slowly, still restricting the pony's arms.
"Lightning, it's just me!" The black-clad pony said, she pulled off the hooded mask and it revealed her true identity; Rainbow Dash.
I got off Rainbow Dash, letting her gain movement again. I pulled her off the ground and said "You could have just knocked….."
"You were asleep and I wanted to train…." Rainbow Dash said.
"You want training? I'll train you in what I know if you want…." I said, pulling out a new white ninja suit.
"Cool, where should we start?" She asked.
"I think we should start with what I started with….. Taijutsu" I said "C'mon we'll train at the Cloudseum."
I put on my white ninja suit and pulled the hooded mask over my face. I took a medium box filled with the equipment we needed to start Rainbow Dash's training and put it on my back.
"Keep your mask off, I only need to hide my identity. And I prefer to be called Shade, now that I am a hero to the people." I said
"Yes, Master Shade…' Rainbow Dash said.
"Just call me Shade…." I said.
"Ok, Shade." She replied.
We headed out of the room and went outside to go to the Cloudseum, several gossipers chatting away about what my identity could be, or what Rainbow Dash was doing with me, the mysterious ninja.
We walked along the clouded path to the Cloudseum, only to be stopped by a group of guards.
"State your name and business." The Guard Captain said.
"My name is Shade, and I have come to use the Cloudseum's grounds to train my apprentice. May I pass?" I replied.
The Guard Captain took a look at the chest keeping my equipment.
"What's in the box?" The Guard Captain asked.
"Training equipment and miscellaneous items." I said.
"You may pass, use the grounds to your standards, ninja." The Captain said.
We walked into the grounds and I set the chest down near us, and I taught Rainbow Dash all there is to know in unarmed combat within thirty minutes. She learned quickly, and I thought she was ready to go into a full-blown hoof fight.
"You've learned much, let us see if you remember it." I said, bowing to Rainbow Dash.
She bowed back and I counted from three.
"Commence." I said, quickly shifting into a defensive position.
She ran towards me and threw a punch at me, I countered and grabbed her hoof and flung her into the ground. I circled around her.
"Never aggressively attack or your opponent will gain the advantage." I quoted to her.
She got up and brushed dirt off her suit. She threw another punch, I ducked from it; she quickly reacting and using her hind hoof to sweep me off the ground. I fell with a thud and got back up.
"Good, you've used my advantage to make your own." I said, smiling at her progress.
I shifted pace and quickly threw jabs at her, she dodged my attacks and countering by vaulting over me and immobilising me by grabbing my hooves. I flipped over her, kicking off the hold. I slid under her and took hold of her legs, tripping her over. I got up from the slide and bowed; she got up and did the same.
"Good, you've learned one essential skill in ninjutsu, let us continue to Kenjutsu, the skilled use of swords. Since you are a rookie, we will start with Kendo." I said, taking two sets of Kendo swords and armour out of the box.
I gave one set to Rainbow Dash and we put on the equipment. We trained in other forms of skills in ninjutsu the rest of the day, By the time she finished her training, she was an adept ninja. -------------------------------------------------------------- Cloudseum, 4:00pm
"You sure you want to do this?" I asked, pulling out my katana from its scabbard and stabbing it into the ground.
"I'm sure, Shade." Rainbow Dash said, readying herself for the sparring ahead.
"Even though I'm more experienced and have more training?" I asked, not wanting to have a real sparring session.
"Shade, if I didn't want to do this, I wouldn't." She said.
"It's your choice, do you want me to go easy on you or not hold back. And I assure you I am hard to stop when I don't hold back, you seen what I did to the courtyard at the festival." I said nervously.
"Don't hold back, but don't use any ninja magic." Rainbow Dash said.
"Right, I won't." I said, walking over to the equipment chest.
I pulled out thin sheets of body armour and gave a set to Rainbow Dash.
"Put that under your outfit, if we are going to not hold back; this will protect us from any wounds." I said, putting the sheets of armour on under the outfit.
She did the same and readied herself.
I took a set of flash pellets and smoke bombs and tossed them to her, she caught them and attached them to her belt. I took a case of weapons and laid them out.
I took out a katana similar to mine and put it in its scabbard, walking over and giving it to her.
"You'll need this." I said, packing up the laid out equipment and putting it in the chest.
A small crowd had amassed in the Cloudseum's seating areas. I turned around and walked back to my katana that was implanted in the ground.
A Guard Captain came out into the grounds and inspected our gear.
"Don't you need armour?" He asked.
"We have thin but strong plates of armour under our clothes, it will be enough to stop a blade." I said "A ninja like myself does not need full plating like you guards do, only slight protection."
"Fair enough." He said, and walked out of the grounds.
I noticed a familiar group of friends in the seating area, the other Elements were in the crowd.
"We got a crowd, do not let that distract you from the fight." I said, kicking up my katana and gripping it backwards so the blade was facing behind me.
Rainbow Dash pulled up her black hooded mask and nodded, unsheathing her katana and holding it low to her side.
"Commence in three…..two……one." The Guard Captain counted down.
I shot off, quicker than lightning and appearing behind her. I vaulted over and faced her, I ran towards her with katana in hoof. I swung my sword at her, she parried it and pushed me off. I attacked again, now locking in a sword-clash with her. I forced against my weapon, trying to overpower her. She held tight onto hers, not giving any signs of weakness. I grabbed a smoke bomb from my belt and threw it against the ground; the small metal capsule shattered and burst into smoke. I recoiled from the clash and jumped into the air, sheathing my katana and pulling out two kunai and landed. Rainbow Dash switched to her shruikens and spun wildy; throwing them at me as she did. Two of them flew past me and stuck into the wall. One found its mark in my chest, I looked down and saw the bladed projectile stuck in the thin plate armour; I lightly tore out the weapon and dropped it, landing with a clang. She charged toward me, I quickly putting one kunai into my belt. She reached my location and swung her sword; I dodged it and punched her in the gut, knocking the wind out of her. I pushed her over; she fell on the ground. Quickly getting back up, she slashed across my armour with her sword, only lightly scraping it.
I threw another smoke bomb in front of Rainbow Dash, when the cloud emitted I ran at full speed and tackled Rainbow Dash onto the ground with a kunai inches from her throat.
"Do you yield?" I asked
"I yield…" Rainbow Dash said.
I got up from her and held my hoof out to her, she took it and I pulled her up from the ground. She took off her mask. We shook hoofs and collected our equipment, once we finished we walked outside the Cloudseum and returned my gear in the box to my house. We went back to Ponyville.
She went to take off her black-ninja suit.
"Keep it, it's yours." I said "I need to do some things, see you later?"
"Ok, see you later" She replied.
A guard clad in golden plate armour ran towards me and said "You fought well out there son, listen we need someone with your expertise to obtain an artefact from a sacred dig site."
"I'll see if I can fit it in my current schedule." I said politely, leaving the guard and heading back into Ponyville.
A magician with a cart of possessions had rolled into town and was boasting of her feats. Twilight walked up to me.
"Shade, what are you doing?" Twilight asked
"Who is that?" I asked, pointing toward the entertainer.
"That's Trixie, she sometimes overreacts her boasting of her feats." Twilight replied.
I walked through the crowd near Trixie, stopping in the middle of it.
"THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE WILL AMAZE YOU WITH HER TALENTS!" Trixie yelled loudly, getting up on her hind legs.
(Really? She boasts too much, I'd give her a taste of her own medicine if it didn't make ME look like a show-off)
A female unicorn noticed my outfit and shouted "Hey, look it's the hero of the Gala!"
(I seriously wish she didn't do that…..)
That Pegasus caught Trixie's attention better than anything.
"The great and powerful Trixie heard of your battle at the Gala." Trixie said, looking down at me from the stage.
The crowd around me dispersed so I was the only one standing between Trixie.
"But you do not show your identity, do I sense shyness?" Trixie mocked.
"A true hero does not openly show their identity, such as I do not to you." I said plainly, looking up at Trixie.
"A wise decision, but why not roll in the fame that you will get if you unmask yourself to the public?" Trixie asked.
"I do not need fame to be a hero, only the support of the ponies I save." I replied.
"Trixie challenges you to a contest of skill." She said, laughing.
"A challenge against me? You may have your magic, but you do not see the full extent of my abilities…" I said oddly.
"I will once you show them, the challenge is to banish an Ursa Major back to its own dimension." Trixie said.
"A fight? This should prove easy…." I said.
Twilight ran up to me and said "What are you doing?"
"Hey, she challenged me; not the other way around, even though I have no clue of what an Ursa Major is." I said surprisingly.
"An Ursa Major is a spectral being."
"A spectre? Then banishing should be easy…."
"So you say…" Trixie butted in "But if I win, you must reveal what is under that mask."
"I need no compensation for winning, and I do not think I will be handing over my identity just yet." I said.
"The contest starts on Wednesday, ready yourself." Trixie said, me and Twilight walking off.
"Ok, what have I gotten myself into?" I asked Twilight.
"Trixie challenged you to fight and banish an Ursa Major." Twilight replied.
"A little lightning should make quick work of it." I said, making a small lightning ball.
"Right and you won't have to reveal yourself to Trixie." Twilight said, extinguishing the ball in my hoof.
I walked into a mountaineering store and asked "Can I get a guide to show me to the Mountains of Light?"
"Sure, right this way…" A guide responded.
He led the way to the Mountains of Light and we stopped at the base.
"Thank you for the assistance, but I must continue alone now….."
"Ok"
I flew up the mountain, gripping onto the blue gem as I did. I eventually found a monastery hidden high in the mountains. I descended onto the pathway into the outlook of the building. I knocked on the large wooden doors and no-one answered.
(No-one is here, so why did something tell me to come here?)
A colt clad in white tackled me, holding me down and pointing a kunai at my throat.
"Who are you and what do you want?" The colt asked, noticing the blue gem in my hoof. He quickly got off me and bowed. "I am sorry, Master Shade…"
"You are forgiven, now why did you call me Master for?" I asked.
"The Elder called to the one called Shade. Shade is our predicted mentor and master." He said.
"You may reveal yourself, Shade…" The Elder said "We are a humble clan."
"Clan? I am a clan leader?" I asked the Elder, taking off my mask.
"You are the predicted clan leader of the Ninjetti." The Elder said.
I looked around and other ponies clad in white ninja armour revealed themselves and bowed to me, I turned back to the Elder and he told me to follow him. He took me to a room with a golden chest in the middle of it.
"Use your key to unlock it, Shade."
I put the gem in a slot and the chest opened , I looked inside and it was a white ninja suit similar to mine but with golden shoulder pads and a golden head crest. I changed into the Clan Leader armour and inspected myself in the mirror. The Elder gave me two spell scrolls.
"The first will summon your disciples should you need their aid. The second will emit a large beam of whatever element you chose. Know that the second will drain your energy. Read them and they will be in your knowledge so you can use them indefinitely." The Elder said "Also take this with you…."
The Elder gave me a sheathed katana. I pulled out the blade and inspected it. The blade felt shocking,
"That weapon is enchanted with the full might of a lightning storm. Use it to your advantage." He said.
I walked back outside where my disciples were training. One noticed me and got the others attention to stand at attention.
"In my new-found leadership as Clan Leader, there is a foe that I must defeat in order to save this world. In my time of need, I will call upon you to aid me in combat. So train hard and learn harder…." I said to the disciples.
"Yes, Master Shade!" The disciples shouted in unison.
"Until then, may your blade be sharp and your mind sharper." I said.
I left the monastery and went back down into Ponyville. I walked among the people and bumped into Rainbow Dash. She noticed the new additions to my armour.
"What happened to your armour?"
"I was summoned to a monastery high in the Mountains of Light and I was suddenly foretold to be the Clan Leader of the Ninjetti, I was given my clan leader armour, what you're seeing now and this new katana." I said, pulling the golden weapon out of its scabbard.
"Looks nice, it should be enough to defeat Chrysalis." Rainbow Dash said.
"Follow me." I said.
She did and I led her to an open batch of sky, I focused and imaged a beam of ice in my head. The coming result was a ice orb growing in my hooves and I threw the orb, producing a large beam of ice shooting in the sky ahead of me.
"So cool…." Rainbow Dash said.
We returned to the ground and she said what she wanted to say earlier. "Whatever Chrysalis tries, know that you have the support of the other six Elements with you."
"Thank you for the info." I said.
"Shade! Come quickly!" Twilight shouted, I quickly ran into her house.
"Princess Celestia knows when Chrysalis is going to strike next!" Twilight said grievously.
"Where and when?" I asked frantically.
"She is going to attack Ponyville with her swarm of Changelings in ten minutes." Twilight said.
"Princess Celestia needs to deploy all the guards she can get." I said "I need all the help I can get." ------------------------------------------ 10 minutes later, 6:30pm
There was two battalions of guards stationed in Ponyville, readying for the fight to come. I took out my golden katana and held it close. I was anxious to protect what others could not….
Suddenly, there was a large army of changelings and the Queen Chrysalis landed on the ground.
"We meet again, Chrysalis!" I said loudly.
"Your demise will be swift if you give yourself up now." Chrysalis said.
"You expect me to give up, just like that?" I asked.
"You should, I have grown stronger than you can imagine…" Chrysalis said.
"You boast of this, but do not show it…" I said.
"Minions, attack!" Chrysalis shouted.
"Both battalions, distract the underlings. I'll deal with the queen…." I shouted.
"Yes, sir!" I heard both battalions shouted back.
I slowly walked over to Chrysalis with my katana in my hoof.
"It's time we finish this!" I said.
I charged with both hooves on my weapon, I swung at the queen and connected, sending her back with a jolt of lightning coursing through her body.
"What sorcery is this?" Chrysalis yelled, angered by the lightning.
"Not sorcery, Ninjetti magic." I replied.
"No amount of magic will save you…." She said, charging toward me.
I ran and sild under her, swiftly getting up and charging my energy, I imaged a lightning beam in my head and cast it; sending the queen into the ground from the electrical shock. She got back up and used her magic to throw me against a nearby wall, I jumped up and threw shruikens at her, all three connecting into her rump. I drew my sword and ran at her; swinging at her legs, my blade slit a large cut into her hoof. She yelled out in and called changelings to attack me. I stabbed the first one in the gut while using my free arm to throw a kunai into another's throat. I kicked the changeling off my katana and decapitated it.
Rainbow Dash and the others started fighting the changelings too. I called on the full might of the lightning storm and pointed my katana blade up. A bolt struck it and I cast the bolt at Chrysalis, she took some shock from it and shot a magic beam at me. I was busy fighting another changeling when the bolt struck me in the back. I crawled over to a nearby building and laid there. Chrysalis was coming to finish me off.
"And now, you will die!" She shouted, almost at my position.
I made a ball of light and cast it in the sky while shouting "Ninjetti, to me!"
The ball of light exploded and made a symbol for Ninjetti. Out of nowhere, several clouds of smoke appeared in front of me. My disciples appeared from the smoke and drew their weapons.
"Master, are you okay?" A disciple asked, picking me up off the ground.
"I am fine, students. Thank you for coming" I said, throwing my hoof over the disciple's shoulder.
"Your friends cannot help you…" Chrysalis snarled.
"Warriors, attack!" I shouted, leaping into the air with my sword suspended above my head.
My disciples attacked Chrysalis and fought bravely, I came down with my sword and sliced an artery in Chrysalis' leg. She fell to her knees and yelled in pain.
"Ninjetti, return to the monastery. Your work here is done." I said.
"Yes, Master." The ninjas said in unison and disappeared into clouds of smoke.
Rainbow Dash and the others ran over to where I was standing, Chrysalis was in too much pain to retaliate.
The incantation turned our furs brightly coloured and formed a rainbow and engulfed Queen Chrysalis. She disappeared and I dropped my katana; stabbing the dirt.
"It's over, harmony is restored." Twilight said in rejoice.
"It is not over, but harmony is restored for now." I said, my hood slightly lifting in the breeze....
