It's 23 years in the Future during the War of New Equstria, and it's been a horrible and bloody place to live as many citizens from across New Equstria have died trying and had their magic taken away by the powerful Grogor. The only ponies that are left to stop him remain in the once-proud city of Canterlot under the sanctuary of Princess Twilight Sparkle monarch of New Equstria.
The battlefield of Canterlot Castle was the last to be conquered and our magic was still intact, as Grogor and his army had not succeeded in a breakthrough the magical barrier yet that the Princess had cast with the help from her friends but it's only a matter of time before Grogor would try to destroy us all, but destiny will change the fate for one unicorn mare in particular and this is her story.
Dawn has been roaming around the cold and deserted streets of Canterlot since the portal had transported her outside of Canterlot Castle, she was also feeling very tired from the dimension travel. The unicorn mare needed to find somewhere safe to sleep for tonight and then come up with a plan to stop Grogar.
The thestral captain had seen the unicorn mare from his vantage point above and had swooped down to investigate why she was outside unaccompanied and getting prepared to go to sleep."Excuse me, but are you lost and why are you sleeping by the side of the road in the street alone at night?" came a masculine voice from behind Dawn making her jump up from the floor in surprise then turning around to face the Thestral who had spoken to her.
"Umm. I was trying to find somewhere to sleep for the night, but if I'm bothering you then I'll just leave." Dawn says, feeling a bit awkward that a stranger had witnessed her sleeping on the floor.
"You don't need to leave, but as Captain of The Lunar Guard, I will insist that you come with me to Canterlot Castle and stay the night then will contact your family in the morning." said The thestral Captain
"My name is Dawn and what is your name Captain?"
"My is Vladimir Vespertilio and it's a pleasure meet you." They say exchanging their names to each other over a friendly hoofshake.
"Do you mind if I call you Vladdy, it sounds like a good nickname to call you by," Dawn says looking towards Vladimir with pleading eyes.
"I don't mind being called Vladdy, as I've never had a nickname before." Vladimir said with a deep blush spread from his head to his neck at the mention of the new nickname for him, never in his years of being Captain of Luna's Guard had a mare given him a nickname before.
The two guards were standing watch in front of the gates to Canterlot Castle unexpectedly saw their Captain, who'd they expected to be alone, escorting to the Castle.
"You must be tired from today, I'll take you to one of our guest rooms so you can sleep," Vladimir said, leading Dawn through the maze of corridors in the castle. Dawn had was familiar with the passages having grown up in Canterlot Castle but she was enjoying her time with the Thestral Captain.
"Thank you for everything you’ve done for me, Vladdy." Dawn hugged Vladimir close to her before letting go of the Thestral Captain.
"Goodnight Dawn, I hope that you have sweet dreams tonight." Vladimir Vespertillio said to Dawn before leaving her to sleep in the guest chambers.
Dawn opened the door to her guest chambers strolling inside and closing the door behind her and noticing that the room was adorned with luxury furniture, fancy wallpaper was coveing the walls and a solid gold Chandauli encrusted with diamonds was hanging from the ceiling in the middle of her room. Dawn then walked into the bathroom seeing that it had a toilet and a sink and above it was an elegantly framed glass mirror that opened up as a cupboard which she opened it up to see that it had a golden coloured toothbrush and minty flavored toothpaste on one shelve and on the other was a fancy looking hairbrush to brush her mane with.
Dawn also had a choice of either using a bathtub or shower to wash herself before going to bed, they are clean towels hanging on hooks to the side of the shower door and a wicker basket to put dirty towels and clothes inside it. She had decided to use the shower first as noticed that it had a shelf with expensive looking little bottles of shampoo and conditioner that was scented with unique fragrances that she never heard of. Inside the soapdish was pain white Soap to clean herself with when see was down using the shower. Dawn then used the hairdryer that was located to the side placed on a hook that was plugged in and had it's own electric plug connected to an extra wall off from the bathroom. When she reach her bed she could see special chocolate wrapped up in gold paper and gently placed on her pillow and a Lavender scented pouch hanging on the bed post designed to calm you down before going to sleep.
But Dawn couldn't sleep even after getting herself ready for bed as feelings of grief and losing everyone important to her had died arose from deep inside as she began weeping for them and stopped crying when she coul'nt cry no more, Dawn felt pure rage like she never felt before and was hellbent on avenging them and her world by stopping Gorgar.
The next morning Dawn awoke to the sound of knocking. Reluctantly, she got out of bed and opened the door to see Vladimir Vespetililo standing in front of the doorway in full Lunar Guard Armour smiling at Dawn as he noticed her staring at his normal uniform which he wasn't wearing yesterday when they had first met being that it was his night off.
"Good Morning Dawn, I've been sent by the Princesses to escort you to the royal dining hall for breakfast," Vladimir announced to Dawn. Meanwhile, at the dining hall, Princess Celestia had prepared pancakes for breakfast and was eagerly waiting on her sister and their guest to arrive.
"Sister, there's no need to be nervous. I'm sure our guest will love the pancakes that you make every morning will be delicious," Lunar says before picking up a pineapple and eating it. Princess Celestia glances over towards her sister's choice of breakfast which was a pineapple with a frown.
"At least she'll enjoy eatting the pancakes that I cook for her!" Princess Celestia says to Princess Luna who rolls her eyes before sitting back down to enjoy her breakfast.
The doors to the royal dining hall opened as a young unicorn mare was accompanied with Captain Vladimir Vespertilio who guided Dawn to her seat. The Lunar Captain saluted to both Princesses before leaving the dining hall himself.
Princess Celestia looked towards Princess Luna before speaking to their guest with a worried manner. "Captain Vladimir inform us that you were roaming the streets of Canterlot alone last night where is your family or friends?"
Dawn suddenly cast her gaze down towards her half eaten pancakes as she began poking them with the end of her fork. "I had a premonition of my sister and her friends were being murdered by Gorgar." Tears began to fall when she spoke about her Big sister and her friends.
"I'm so..." but before Princess Celestria could finish her sentence Dawn held up her hoove to stop her. "Saying that you're sorry won't bring them back, unless you have a magical spell to raise the dead ." Dawn said through the tears..
"Dawn, You’re more than welcome to stay here with us." Princess Luna quickly said seeing that her older sister's question had upset the unicorn mare.
"Thank you, Princess Luna, it would be nice to live in this Castle again even if the rulers are different from my world." Being grateful but solemn at the Princess Luna's invitation.
"I'm curious to know who was the ruler in your Equestria?" Princess Celestira asked Dawn.
"That was my big sister Princess Twilight Sparkle. You did groom her for years to become a Princess so she could take your place as ruler of Equestria someday." Dawn said as she continued consuming the rest of her pancakes. Princess Celestia almost choked on her tea, spitting the hot beverage down herself at Dawn's answer.
"So where is Twilight right now, I thought she'd be here but I haven't seen her?" Dawn says asking them. Princess Celestia wiped the tea from her muzzle before answering Dawn's question.
"Twilight will be here, visit us for a diplomatic meeting, you can see her then." Princess Celestial says smiling towards Dawn.
"Now that our breakfast is over my sister has her royal duties to attain too and I need my rest to raise the moon for tonight." Princess Luna declares reminding everyone in the room.
Dawn got down from the dining table and turned her gaze towards the dark blue alicorn. "Princess Luna,can I teach you our special getting before I leave?" Dawn asked nervously Princess Luna only nodded as she waited for me to continue.
"Moonlight, Moonlight, firefly awake, make a wish and do a little shake." Dawn says demonstrating the little song and dance to Princess Luna.
"It was our special greeting, we'd do it together whenever I visited you at Silver Shoals." Dawn says sheepishly.
"I will do the greeting the next time we meet, little one." Princess Luna says to Dawn then evacuating the dinning to retire to her chambers for the day.
Dawn took the opportunity of being by herself to wander around the castle greeting the Solar Guards. As she walked, her mind drifted towards her last traumatic moments with her big sister wishing she could have told Twilight that she loved her one last time.
What Dawn had witnessed in her sister's premonition two nights ago had come true as her special talent is having visions that relates to anypony that she touches and can see events from their past, present, or future.
Dawn needed to find something to do so she roamed around the rest of the castle until she found an unoccupied music room. as her eyes sighted an Organ in the corner of the room. She settled down on the seat, pressing down on the keys of the organ with her front hooves while also using her back hooves at the same time to control the pedals as she played the musical notes to debussy clair de lune as the beautiful melody from her foalhood echoed across the room.
When Dawn had finished with the Organ she had'nt notice that somepony had watching her played until she turned around coming face to face with Captain Vladmir.
"You played really beautifully and this royal Organ hasn't been touched in many years." Captain Vladmir said in amazement.
A shrill gasp escaped Dawn's throat. She leapt about a mile in the air, whirled around and came face-to-face with Vladimir himself. “Oh my Luna!” Dawn squealed, slapping a hoove across her heart. “You need a little bell around your neck, you know that?” A small grin tickled his lips, which somewhat nullified the immediate mortification that flooded her system. “Not a bell kind of Thestral, I’m afraid."
Vladimir stopped moving, his brows furrowing in what might have passed for concern. “Are you all right?” “No,” she said, unthinking. His frown deepened. “I’m sorry,” he said, stepping back once, twice, a full three times to give her some much-needed breathing room. “I just…sorry.” “For what?” Vladimir smiled softly.
"That what you're worried about, I thought it was something that I'd had done." Vladimir said looking quite relieved.
"Is their a reason to why you are here and not in bed right now?" Dawn asked frowning up at the bat-pony Captain.
"Princess Celestia had asked me to bring you to the royal dining hall to meet an importance guest and is requested to join them for tea and cake." Vladimir said walking up beside Dawn and leading her out of the royal music room and towards the royal dining hall.

Dawn a young unicorn mare and younger sister to Princess Twilight Sparkle and Shining Amour was sitting at her desk looking through her sheet music trying to decide what music to play on her Organ when a knock sounded at her door.
Dawn halted what she was doing and she opened the door and saw a griffin in royal guard armor standing outside.
"What seems to be the problem, Gallus?" Dawn asked the Royal Guard who gave her a salute before answering her question.
"Dawn, Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends have requested you to come to the royal hall immediately!" Gallus said
"Please, take me to see my sister and her friends," Dawn said to the Royal Guard who set off towards Canterlot Castle.
"Twilight, is Grogar and his army attacking the castle? Why have you summoned me to the hall so suddenly?" Dawn could see Princess Twilight was sitting at her royal throne, Spike at her side with her friends sitting across the table, all wearing a grim expression on their faces.
"Dawn, we're safe for now but my friends and I have made a difficult decision that involves you." Princess Twilight said the look in her lavender eyes was filled with sadness when looking immediately towards her younger sister.
"I understand big sister. You want me to fight alongside you and your friends to defend Canterlot together against Grogar and his army, right?" Dawn said in a hopeful tone of voice, willing to help them in any way that she could against the upcoming threat to Canterlot that they all faced.
"There’s no wrong qustion, only answers." Rainbow Dash Captain of the Wonderbolts said with an exaggerated sigh.
"Now hold on their sugarcube, nopony said that you're going to fight with us in this war, that’s not what ya’ sister was trying ta’ say." Apple Jack said firmly.
"Darling, we all agreed it's for the best that you stay out of this war." Rarity said looking towards Dawn with a soft smile across her face.
"It's definitely not a magic spell that involves you and a magical portal to another world!" Pinkie Pie exclaims in one giant breath.
Dawn blinked a few times then looked up towards the group of the four middle-aged mares before turning toward her sister the Alicorn ruler of New Equestria.
"Twilight, is what Pinky said true?" that you're going to cast a spell and send me to another world?” Dawn said, her ears wilting downwards sadly. “Why Big sister don't you want my help?"
"Dawn, what you heard from Pinky Pie is the truth but it's not as bad as you might think it is." Fluttershy says embracing the young unicorn in a hug.
"Dawn, I love you with all my heart and so do my friends but we're doing this to protect you, the vision that you saw is about to become a reality and I don't want you to witness it." Princess Twilight said her horn glowing the colour of Magentas as she cast the spell to open up a dimensional portal to another Equstria.
"I don't wanna go!" Dawn said tears streaming down her face as she tried to escape her sister's spell which was slowly pulling her towards a strange new world.
"I know which is why I have to do this, you have to live for us, you're the only pony who can." Princess Twilight said, nuzzling her sister goodbye as she used her magic to seal the dimensional rifts closed, taking with it their last hope in stopping Grogar and his army.
"Twi, You did what was best for Dawn, I just got word from Captain Gallus that Gorgar and his army have just invaded Canterlot Castle and has gbut ained even more magic to wipe us and the whole of New Equestria to extinction," Spike said reading the report aloud so everypony could hear him.
"Everyone gets ready for the fight of our lives and it's been an honour being your ruler and friends." Princess Twilight said looking towards each one of her friends with no regrets.
"Hey Applejack, I bet I can kill more of these basterds than you can!" Rainbow Dash said determinedly.
"Perpare to loose that bet Rainbow!" AppleJack said not backing down from Rainbow Dash's challenge.
The doors to the Royal Hall were suddenly hurled to the ground as a blue rum entered with his army."Do you surrender your magic to me or should I take it by force!" Gorgar says with an evil gleam in his eyes.
"We will never give up our magic effortlessly to some sorcerer like you!" Princess Twilight declared back angrily.
"No matter, I'll still take what is truly mine and end your very existence with death and destruction of this world!" Gorgar said as he rang his bell the magic energy snatched their own magic away from them. When the evil act was accomplished Gorgar then approached the weakened Element of Harmony and their Dragon relishing in his moment of glory.
Gorgar could see the suffering in their eyes. He then ordered his army to kill seven of Twilight's friends in front of the Lavender Alicorn, who could only watch in utter horror as the cries of being tortured echoed around the walls of the castle and directly into Twilight's ears.
The blade slide across their necks, as blood quickly pours from underneath their necks colouring the carpet floor a crimson red.
"You're highness, any last words before you perish and I destroy this precious universe that you once resided in?" Gorgar said utter any lack of empathy towards the fallen ruler of Canterlot Castle.
"Gorgar, your tyranny of death and destruction will come to an end!" Princess Twilight whispered to Gorgar before perishing at his hooves.

Gorgar looked at the now dead bodies of Princess Twilight Sparkle with great satisfaction. "You were saying Element of Magic, nopony can stop me or my army!" Gorgar screamed casting a spell to set fire to the throne room, burning the bodies to cinders.
"Gorgar we have found that Twilight's sister has escaped to a different world, what should we do about her sir?" ask the Captain of his army saluting to Gorgar as he waited for his order.
"We will send a special Assassin to deal with that problem and then steal that worlds magic." Gorgar with an evil grin across his face. He then used an ancient scroll to open a portal to another dimension orderding his army to go travel it and wait for him their. While Gorgar stayed behind to watched the rest of Canterlot Castle burst into blazes until nothing remained of the castle.
Captain Vladimir was enjoying a nice cold beverage with his friends, Captain Shining Armour of the Crystal Empire and Broad Sword the now-retired Captain of the Solar Guard as they were chatting amongst themselves about the good old days.
"So, Vladimir are you ready to settle down with a nice mare or stallion yet?" Shining Armour said nudging the Thestral gently with his elbow in order to attract his attention.
"I'm content with being Captain of the Lunar Guard, I also have my friends and brother/sisters in arms to contend with, But if I do meet a nice mare that I like and have feelings for one day then I'll settle down." Vladimir said truthfully.
"Vladimir, you're not such a young stallion anymore,you think any mare's will go for an old colt like you?" Broad Sword said teasing his thestral friend with a grin on his face.
"I believe that Love has no age, no limit; and no death." Vladimir said, finishing up his last drink before bidding them farewell. As they all departed from the bar to get ready for Grogar as he had declared war on Equestrian and Vladimir will do everything in his power to stop him with the help of his friends.
"So let me ask you a question about this great plan of yours, when you've killed all the good guys and when you have finally taken over this world and have it exactly the way you wanted it, what are you going to do with the creatures like you The Destroyers, how are you going to stop them with your glorious power from the next one." Dawn says distracting Grogar enough for Pinky Pie to swap the bewitching bell with the fake one that Queen Twilight had.
"I will Win!" Grogar proclaimed proudly to Dawn thinking himself to be unbeatable.
"Oh will you, maybe you might win but nobody wins for long, the wheel just keeps on spinning so come on break the cycle." Dawn continued on like Grogar hadn't spoken.
"Why are you still talking?" Grogar said sounding bored listening to the unicorn who was meant to die today.
"Because I'm trying to get you to understand and I can see it happening your almost their!" Dawn says explaining to Grogar.
"You know what I see Dawn, a bell with everything I need." Grogar says as he reaches for the bewitching bell. "It's a 50% chance for us to destroy him!" Queen Twilight Sparkle also agrees and reaches for the other bewitching bell.
Dawn then looks at the two of them on the opposite side of the battlefield before speaking up again. "And we're off, fingers on buzzers folks, are you feeling lucky are you ready to play the game, who's going to be the quickest and who's going to be the luckiest?" Dawn says acting like a announcer.
"THIS IS NOT A GAME!?" Queen Twilight Sparkle yelled seriously at Dawn.
"No, it's not a game, Queenie and I mean that most sincerely!" Dawn replies back to Twilight.
"Why are you doing this?" Grogar asked Dawn looking puzzled by Dawn's actions.
"Yes, I'd quite like to know that too, you set this whole thing up but why?" Twilight says as she looked towards her sister wondering the same thing.
"Because it's not a GAME Twilight!" Dawn says yelling back sounding very Irritated.
"This is a scale model of war, every war that's ever been fought right here in front of you, because It's always the same when you swing that sword no matter how right you feel you have no idea who's going to Die!" Dawn shouted at both them as her eyes burned as tears started to form.
"You don't know how many fillys are going to scream and burn, how many hearts will be broken, how many lives shattered how much blood will spill until Everypony does what their always meant to do is sit down and Talk."
"Listen to me...I just want you to think, do you know what thinking is it's just a fancy word for changing your mind." Dawn begs Gorgar to try and stop this war.
"I will not change my mind!" Gorgar says firmly acknowledge that he won't stop this war.
"Then you'll die stupid, alternatively you can step away from that bell and you can walk right out of this battlefield and stare your army down."
"I thought you'd say that Gorgar which is why I asked Dawn to distract you and then I got Pinky pie to swap the real bewitching bell for the fake one that your currently holding in your hooves." Twilight Sparkel said with a grin.
"Queen Twilight, if I can't have this worlds magic and destroy it, then I'll take somepony precious to you!" Grogar says throwing the fake bewitching bell on the battlefield in a fit if animosity.
"Wait just an apple picking minute, your whole plan was for us to listen to Dawn's emotional speech when we could of all just listen to her sing!" Applejack says sounding a bit critical.
"Trust me A-J, when I telling you this, but NO PONY wants to hear Dawn start to sing and that speech was perfect. Spike said to AppleJack honestly.
"Well we can't all have musical singing voices in the family that talent had to go to my big sister Twilight Sparkel." Dawn said butting to their conversation.
"I'm sorry Dawn." Apple Jack quickly apologizes to her. "No, problem Apple Jack now let's focus on the battle against Twilight and Gorgar will do next." Dawn says to Apple Jack.
Gorgar then ordered Carapace to attack Twilight's life as the Changeling's horn glowed with magic but Dawn glimpses that her Sister was in danger and directly leaps in front of her taking the blow and is now bleeding heavily from the attack and falls to the ground as Twilight Sparkel catches her in time.
"Oh no, are you okay!?" Twilight says looking shocked for a moment at what she'd just witnessed in front of her very eyes.
"NO!" Princess Luna exclaims flying towards Dawn's side as Captain Vladimir stood their motionless knowing the state of Princess Dawn's injuries and being unable to anything to help her.
"How could I of missed?" Carapace said in confusion as he just attacked the wrong mare.
"I never thought that I would die in my big sister's hooves, it's actually quite comforting." Dawn says with a sad smile as she started coughing up blood from her mouth.
"We could use healing magic right?" Spike said offring a helpful solution.
"Good idea Spike, my sister and I could combined our healing magic to help her." Princess Luna says as Princess Celestia then approach her sister as they started using a powerful healing spell with their horns to heal Dawn's wounds.
"I'm not the sister you know, I'm from a different universe a whole other world theirs no reason for you too cry?" Dawn said reaching her hoove out towards the Changeling Queen to wipe away her tears.
"The Twilight who lives in this world get's too keep on living with her friends and family, so you don't need to be sad." Dawn says her face turning pale.
"But we are SAD, we don't care what world you come from no matter what anypony says your still our Dawn, your my sister and we love you, we don't ever want too lose you, so of course we're sad how could we not be!?" Twilight Sparkel says with a sob of despair and she hugged her close to her."
"You...need to...protect the future!" Dawn says to Twilight as she soon becomes unconscious from the loss of blood.
"Her life is Irrelevant, every choice you think you have, has been decided by fate!" Grogar shouts as his horns glow up with magic as he intends for his attack to kill Dawn probely this time.
"Then, I'm going to turn fate into a pile of ashes!!!" Twilight shouts casting a counter spell to negate Grogar's upcoming attack on Dawn with her own magic.
When Dawn's injuries had magically been been sealed as the wound around the skin around was the only evidence that Dawn had been injured that she had a tiny scar across her chest.
"Let's get Dawn away from the psycho murderer trying to kill her!' Spike says picking her up her in his claws and putting enough distance from Grogar.
"Yeah, good idea Spike!" Twilight agrees with the Dragon not wanting Dawn to die like her Mother had with Queen Crudelis.
"Not so fast Dragon, Dawn still has to die I'm happy to let you both perish together at my hooves!" Carapace says drawing his sword as he directed his blade towards them for a deadly assault.
"You can Fucking try but I won't let you Carapace!" Captain Vladimir Vespertillo says coming to Dawn and Spike's rescue by blocking Carapace's sword with his own.
"I'm going to enjoy killing you Captain, then I can finally avenge my ancestors who were slaughtered by the Vespertillio bloodline!" Carapace said as he continued to swing his sword directly at Captain Vladimir Vespertillo with a murderous gleam in his gaze.
"Carapace, your resentment for my household name is delusional that you'd pursue to kill me, just too get revenge for a thousand years old war?!" Captain Vladimir exclaims to the Changeling as he continues to strike at Carapace with his own blade.
"Don't you dear utter my name on those murdering fangs of yours Vespertillo!" Carapace shouted with such hostility towards Captain Vladimir Vespertillo that you could feel it coming off him in waves of hatered.
"Your all the same you screaming foals, you know that!" Dawn announces interrupting Carapace who was about to attack the Thesral Captain again.
"Look at me I'm unforgivable, well here is the unforseeable part, I Forgive you after all you've done... I forgive you!" Dawn says interurping the fight between Carapace and Captain Vladimir.
"You don't understand,YOU'LL will never understand!?" Carapace shouts as he knocks Captain Vladimir's sword out off his hoove.

"Dawn you shouldn't be moving around so much, you've only just been healed from your serious injuries." Spike says hurrying to her side panicking
"Spike is right what you just did was stupid, stopping our fight like that when you were nearly killed almost a few minutes ago!" Captain Vladimir said as he picked her up in his hooves with great tenderness not caring if anypony was watching them.
"Vladdy... you can let me go now, I'm fine." Dawn says as she found the affectionate Thestral Captain to be most surprising as they were in the middle of a war. Luckily for Dawn Captain Vladimir quickly came to his senses and placed Dawn gently back down on the ground then he ordered his comrades to surround Carapace who had looked up towards Dawn like he knew her which was unlikely considering the only Changeling friend she had know other apart from her adopted parents were dead.
(A few days later)
Dawn had rested for a few days under the royal request of Princess Luna much to her dismay. Had decided to just get up from her bed when a Scroll magically appeared in front of her and she opened up to read a letter of some sort which was addressed to her. Hi Dawn? Yes, is this Vladimir? Vladdy. And yeah. Vlad. Who called themselves Vlad? Hi. Hey, we doing this?
“This” being going on a blind date because our mutual relationship with my Aunty Princess Luna (who’d set us up,where I'm Staying with Twilight's friends at the Castle and that her nephew is Prince Shining armour) she tried to let it go even though Dawn got the impression both of us consistently, and for some time, tried to put her off.
For her part, Dawn knew just that. And his “we doing this?” solidified the impression he did too. "Sure." What more could I write back to him?
She was Princess of the night, Shining amour’s aunty’s former mare in the moon, and Vladimir was a commando. You around Tuesday? Yeah I'am.

“Yes,” I said out loud to my scroll. “We’re still on. But I actually do not want to have dinner with you, alpha male, probably toxic male. , but Princess Luna warned me you had ‘issues’ and needed somepony to settle you down, and apparently, she thinks I’m that unicorn.”
I stopped writing to Vladdy, who Princess Luna told me was actually called Vladimir, who had't my written me back. And Dawn stared at the scroll thinking that the issues Princess Luna didn’t share with her, but the Royal Guards in the castle did, were that some mare had broken Vladimir’s heart, and like a definitely toxic dude, his strategy for curing it was sleeping with everything that moved.
However, to be honest, although this appeared to be one more project I didn’t need, even if Princess hadn’t been entirely forthcoming, my sense was that mostly Princess Luna seemed like she wanted to fix us up because she liked us both a lot, thought we’d be good together, look out for each other, and in the end, be happy.
I could not imagine what she was thinking. A commando was so not my style. A Thestralwhore? Totally not.

Dawn wanted to be offended he’d called her “babe” and thought she needed his approval of her accessorizing.
All Dawn could hear was the word “gorgeous.” And this was the charm she needed to guard against. The problem with that was it felt too nice aimed her way.
Dawn didn’t know what to do, or say, so I looked down to her bag, fumbled her lip gloss, it fell off the counter, Dawn bent to retrieve it… And then, typical, within minutes of meeting him, I gave him a massive dose of the real Dawnlight Sparkle.
This being, I slammed my forehead into the edge of the counter. And that hurt. A lot. “Oh, My Luna. Dee-dee,” Vlad called. But I did not reply because I was in the midst of overcompensating the recovery. Staggering back, I slammed into the counter behind me, the edge of it digging painfully into the small of my back, and between the crack on my head making me dizzy and the sting in my back, I went down, flat on my flank. Fabulous. Vlad was there in what seemed like half a second, crouching beside me,his hoovd coming toward me.
Dawn started to rear away from it, and he murmured, “Whoa,” and again moved fast so Dawn banged the back of her head into his hoove, which cracked against the cupboard.
Dawn felt totally mortified. “Just…don’t move,” he ordered, taking control of my chin and lifting it slowly. She forced her eyes to his face to see him examining my forehead but that close, Dawn could see how whtie his fangs were.
Not good.Because they were awesome. “Smacked yourself a good one,” he murmured. Man. This was just…Humiliating.“I think you need ice,” he went on. “I—” I stopped speaking because he moved fast again, doing this to pick me up.
In an effort to do that, I peered out from under the towel and started, “Vlad—” “Vladdy.” “Sorry.” “What?” “What?” Dawn parroted, because he wasn’t close, but he was not far, and Dawn could see how white his fangs were again. “You said my name.” “I did?” His eyes narrowed and he stopped bending over me, holding the ice to my head, and bent into me, pulling the ice away and staring into my eyes.
“What day is it?” he asked. “Tuesday.” “Who set us up?” “Princess Luna.” He held three hooves up to my face. “How many wings do I have?” “Two, Vladdy, stop it. I’m okay. I just…” Dawn didn’t finish. “What?” he asked. “Just…” Dawn again didn’t finish. "What, Dawn?” God, really, was he actually that handsome? And right there, hovering over me, looking concerned, which made him even more handsome? “Dee-dee?” he called.
His gaze changed, it was an amazing change I felt in amazing places, it shifted to my mouth, and I felt that too, it was also amazing, and last, he murmured, “Baby.” “I’m not your baby,” I breathed. His gaze shifted back to my eyes, and he rumbled, all sexy, hot and sweet, “Oh yeah, you are.” My hooves curled. “De-de—” “Vladdy.” “Vladdy, I—
Then a scroll appeared and Vladimir opened it to read it, he's eyes narrowed into slits then shouted in an angry tone, " What the Fuck!" "Who are you planning on meeting at 11:30 at night Dee-dee in the Fucking Everfree forest!?"
"Hmmm.... Just somepony you don't know." Dawn said suddenly and could see the twitch in Vladimir's right eye before he grabbed her in his hooves as he pulled back he's lips in a snarl revealing his sharp fangs. "Don't you dear think about lying to me, Dawn!" He was angered by her terse excuse.
Dawn looked towards Vladimir before saying, “I’m not a massive fan of bossy Stallions!"
"And I’m not a massive fan of mares doing stupid shit out of the kindness of their hearts that ends with them getting their flanks in slings!?” Vladimir yelled back at Dawn feeling his temper rise.
Well then. There wasn’t much response to that. Except…“Vladdy, I barely know you, you can’t tell me what to do.” Dawn lifted my free hoove his way when it appeared he was going to speak. “And even if I knew you for years and we were the best of friends, you still couldn’t tell me what to do.”
Dawn felt Vladdy focus his attention on her did this because his attention not only had a feeling, but a temperature. And that was set at sweltering. “Dee-dee—” Woodenly, she turned, looked up at him and cut him off.
“This is a my affair.” he stared at her like I’d grown a second head before his face softened.
Well. To hell, he had no fucking idea where I was coming from. “I…I mean…I know this was a hassle for you and you didn’t want to do it, so I thank you, a lot, for taking my back. But I’ll take it from here.”
“de de—” “I’m not your honey. I’m a grown mare,” Dawn suddenly snapped. And I knew why. There he was, literally tall, dark, handsome, but also…nice. Thoughtful. Willing to go that extra mile for someone he barely knew. Dawn needed to get Vladdy gone. Now. For his good.

“Oh, you do?” Dawn asked sarcastically.
He moved closer but didn’t touch her. However, he did bend down to her from his spectacular height in much the way he’d probably have to bend to me in order to do something awesome, something he was probably very good at, something I’d probably enjoy immensely—kiss me.
But he wasn’t going to do that to me not now anyway thanks to my big mouth.
He was going to talk to me about the situation surrounding the bell on my coffee table. “Don’t let him make you this unicorn,” he advised. “You have no idea what kind of pony I am." "Your toxic charm,” Dawn retorted.
He swung back, his face freezing stone cold. “I know stallions like you like to think your shit doesn’t stink,” Dawn kept at him. “And this is such a firm belief you have, it won’t matter what I say. But as you can see,” Dawn flipped a hoove toward the bell, “I have bigger things to concern myself with. I don’t have the time to rehabilitate a Thestralwhore.” “A Thestralwhore?” he whispered.
“Do you deny you’ve fucked half of Canterlot?” “Yeah, I deny that,” he bit out. “Princess Luna called me a Thestralwhore?”
“And how would you refer to a mare who engaged abundantly in the activities you engage in abundantly, then scrape off the poor souls to make way for your next victim?”
“Gotta say, Dawn, you give dual personalities a whole new meaning,” he replied, his expression now openly hostile towards her.
Outwardly, Dawn shrugged. Inwardly, she screamed. “So, are we done here?” Dawn asked.
“Fuck yeah, we’re done,” he snarled. “Good luck, babe. You’re gonna fuckin’ need it.
Vladimir walked into the bar early the next afternoon and noted immediately that his luck hadn’t turned. And he didn’t give a fuck. He was so pissed, he hadn’t slept a second. And somehow, he was more pissed than how excruciatingly pissed he was the night before with all that shit Dee-dee had spewed at him.
It was, unsurprisingly, Valiant Snow who spoke up first, “Shit, Vlad, you got a face like an angry manticore.” Valiant Snow and just stared at him, but Vladimir could tell he was alert and concerned.
They’d been coworkers awhile and roommates Shining armour knew him. Shining also knew he had a blind date with his little sister last night. And Valiant Snow wasn’t liking what he was seeing. Something Vladimir gave not one fuck about seeing as he did not like what he was feeling. Valiant Snow didn’t even glance at Shining Armour.
He kept his gaze locked with Shining Armour as Valiant said, “If Princess Luna gets the bright idea to fix me up with another one of her mares, you tell her to think twice about it.”
Shining Armour felt the attitude coming off Vladimir and it was intense.“And you tell your adoptive aunt-in-law,” Vladimir continued giving it to Shining Armour, “if she has a problem with how I live my life, she can fuckin’ talk to me about it. Not share her judgment about what I do with my dick with anyone who’ll listen.” “Oh, My Luna,” Vladimir murmured. “Now hang on—” Brode Sword started.
Vladimir looked at him and clipped, “You are not in this.” “You’re talkin’ ’bout my aunt,” he leaned in toward Vladimir threateningly, “I am. And Princess Luna wouldn’t talk smack about you. She’d never do that. Especially not to you. You’re her Captain.”
“That’s what I thought, but I was wrong,” Vladimir returned.
“We’ll just leave it at the fact I and Dee-dee will not be having a second date,” Vladimir told him. “Now talk to your aunt because I am so not down with the dirty she did me."
Goddamn it. Princess Cadance spoke up. “Wasn’t last night your first date?” Vladimir looked at her. “Oh, sweet Celestia,” she whispered. “You liked her.” Liked her? No. Fuckin Was way into her the second he laid eyes on her—and damn, the mare was all kinds of pretty—and that just grew from the minute she threw him attitude, instead of crawling up his ass or tease-flirting or acting like she didn’t give a shit if he found her attractive when she did.
She was herself. Take her as she came. And in the time he spent with her—cracking her head on the counter, falling on her ass, throwing him more attitude, eating three slices of pizza, half the boneless wings, her fair share of cheesy bread, half a cannoli as well as a half slice of cheesecake to falling asleep and making cute snoring noises he knew, if she was sleeping beside him, they’d wake him up and make him want to fuck her, to being funny and sweet and open and honest and most of all, liking his eyelashes of all fucking things—he’d seen a lot of sides of Dawn Sparkle. And was way into them all.
Except the last. “Maybe Queen Twilight can do some damage control, ” Princess Cadance suggested unfortunately reading what Vladimir had been unable to hide.

“Mornin’, Dee-dee,” he said, moving out of his room. He never would have imagined he’d wake up the morning after last night (and the one before) and walk out to his kitchen grinning.
“Did you manage to get any sleep last night?” “A couple of hours,” she then replied.
“Good,” he muttered. And he did not tug on a tee on his way back to the kitchen. She had plates down, a stack of toast started, bacon resting on a paper towel by the stove and was scrambling some eggs when he returned.
“Just sit down, Vladimir, and let me serve you. If you help, it won’t be a thank-you,” she ordered, not glancing his way. But…Vladdy? She had not once called him Vladdy unless it was right after he told her to do that, but then she went right back to Vladdy.
Seemed in those hours she didn’t sleep she’d made some decisions about how she was going to move forward on some things. Though not all the right decisions.
Making breakfast in his tee, correct. Calling him Vladdy, incorrect. He saw the coffeepot was full, so instead of heading to a stool at the island, he moved that way.
“I gotta work today, but you can stay here I won't force you but I want you here safe,” he said. “ Queen Twilight was up reading last night, so she’s probably asleep, but when she gets up, you can hang with her. Around lunch, I’ll come and get you and take you over to her Hive.
"Vladdy—" Vladimir,” he corrected, running his hooves under her ear, feeling her shiver, fighting another grin, then he stroked her throat with his forehooves. They were great,” she mumbled, again, to his mouth.
“What?” She was still solely focused on his muzzle. “Dawn?” “Mm?” “Honey, you keep lookin’ at my muzzle like that, I’m gonna be forced to give you a good morning kiss.” She did not take her eyes from his muzzle, but Vladdy didn’t give her a good morning kiss.
Dawn lifted her hooves, latched on to either side of his neck and yanked him down at the same time she was surging up, and one thing he could say. Her aim was true. With her lips she smushed his lips back into his sharp teeth so bad he tasted that tang you got when you took one to the mouth. She then let go, jerked away, put her hooves to her mouth and muttered, “Oh My Luna, what’s the matter with me? I’m so sorry I should have asked you first before doing that.”
But through this, Vladdy turned to the stove, shoved the eggs from the flame, turned off the burner, then went right back to her.
“Do-over,” he said. She dropped her hoove. “Wh-what?” “Do you want to kiss me?” he asked. Her gaze dropped to his chest, shot up, but stopped at his mouth before it seemed she had to force it to his eyes. She wanted to kiss him. “Do-over,” he repeated, reaching to her, wrapping his hooves around the back of her neck and pulling her closer.
“Dawn—” she began. “Vladimir,” he growled, angled his head and took her muzzle. After her first attempt, he was surprised she opened it right away. Even surprised, he didn’t let that opportunity slip. He slid his tongue inside. She tasted of coffee and mare, her soft mane all around his hoove… Shit. This was a bad idea. Strike that. It was a fantastic idea. Terrible timing. gently press her away.
But she latched on again, this time to either side of his head before she plunged her hoove in his mane curled them around at the back and held him to her, tipping her head and sucking his tongue deep.
Sweet Celestia. Nice. Dawn pressed close. Vlad rounded her with his free wing, pulled her closer and took the kiss deeper. She whimpered and fisted her hoove in his mane, as they were scraping against his scalp. He felt that in all the important places and growled his approval down her throat. They went at it and Vlad was feeling it in his cock, which she’d fit her hips too, and his hooves were heading for her ass when he heard a key scraping the lock at the door.
He instantly broke the kiss, shoved her behind him, and wondered what the fuck he was thinking that he didn’t have weapons hidden all over the house, just as the door opened and Princess Luna strode in and behind her came near on every damn Rock Mare that still lived in Canterlot.
Princess Luna looked pissed. Queen Twilight Sparkle looked for Dawn. And the Rock Chicks looked ready to rumble. “Fuck,” she muttered “You think now’s the time to make your move on my sister?” Twilight demanded, forcing me back to the moment, and I saw she was flapping her wings again.
Okay, let’s just all calm down here,” I began, moving out from behind Vladimir, only to have him curl an arm around my hips and yank me hard to his side. My head bounced. Dawn's mane swayed. And for a split second, Dawn was stuck on the thought that nobody had ever done that to me before. She didn’t like it. But after all, he’d done for her, that kiss, and in our current situation, she didn’t dislike it either.
But my attention shifted to the multitude of mares and one Changeling Queen whose collective gazes had sharpened on Vladimir’s wing around my hips, and not in good ways.
Right, maybe Twilight’s friends didn’t know he was an alpha-pony captain who did stuff like that. Dawn never in her life thought she’d be in this kind of place, but to handle a sudden and unexpected volatile situation, she was in this place. That place is in a position to have to explain how an alpha-pony captain operates
“He’s protective,” Dawn said. “He was there when I first saw all the damage to my suite. And you’ve invaded his space. It’s a captain thing.” “Say what?” Queen Twilight asked. In answer, Dawn curled her hooves around Vladdy’s wrist (which, incidentally, didn’t move) and shared, “You’ve invaded his territory. He’s claiming his territory and nonverbally sharing what he intends to protect which is me. It’s not bad, as such. It’s instinctive.” Nopony looked angry anymore, Dawn was pleased to see that.
Though how they’d morphed straight to highly amused, I didn’t get. “She’s…” one of the blondes started. “She’s…” Her voice was trembling. “Giving us alpha lessons,” she finally got out. Vladimir told thee what went down and not only did they not call you a Thestralwhore, I cannot believe you’d think they said that about you.” Everypony stopped laughing and stared at Vladdy.
"Oh dang." I turned my head to look up at him to see he was still angry and still focused on Princess Luna.
“Yeah, then where did she get that shit?” he asked.“It wasn’t Princess, Vladdy,” I told him, and felt like an absolute heel when his eyes came down to me and I had to say what I had to say next. “Some of the mares at Smithie’s talk, and it was, well…me who used that term. Princess Luna just said you had a bad breakup and, and…you needed a mare in your life who would let you be you.”
He didn’t look any less angry, though it was a mixed bag that he didn’t seem angry at me. “She came in here making assumptions,” he explained his continuing anger at Princess Luna. “You are in nothing but shorts and I’m in your shirt,” I pointed out, though I didn’t tell him that I wanted him to see me in his shirt making breakfast, my body at odds with my mind as to what was the right thing for Vladimir in this situation.
My body winning out. In a lot of ways. “I’m not fifteen. You’re not fifteen. And she’s not my mom or yours,” he returned. He had a point. I looked to Princess Luna “We slept in separate rooms. Boone gave me this shirt because I didn’t have anything to wear to bed. I was making Vladdy breakfast as a thank-you and it was me who kissed him. Um, the first time.”
“I thought we were here to grab her and take her somewhere safe so she doesn’t have to deal with her drama,” yet another blonde remarked. “You are not taking Dee-dee anywhere,” Vladimir rumbled. All eyes got wide and focused on him. “Jet, you’re not supposed to say that in front of the cranky captain,” the one called Roxie mumbled. “Damn, Roxanne. Guess I’m out of practice,” Stella mumbled back. “Dawn was making me breakfast and you were leaving?” Vladimir prompted. “After, that is, you drop the key,” Dawn said directly to Queen Twilight. “I’m not leaving the key,” Queen Twilight said to Vladimir. If you open your mouth to agree or disagree with what I am going to be doing with my time during my drama, it will be me who’s cranky.”
“You’re a dork, a klutz, a menace with your mouth and unbelievably cute,” Vladimir responded. Part of that was true, part of that was mortifying (the mouth part) and the part of that made me feel warm and happy.
"Trust them.” I got closer to him and whispered, “I don’t know any of these unicorn mares but Princess Luna and Queen Twilight. I can’t ask them to help.” For a moment, as he held my gaze, he seemed to be pondering this Deeply. And then he spoke.
“More advice, the Rock Mares want to adopt you, as crazy as they are, let yourself be adopted.” I felt, having this conversation as we were, in front of them, was highly awkward.
So, I curled closer to him and dropped my voice so much lower, he had to dip down to hear it. And him dipping down the way he did remind me that he did, indeed, do that when he kissed me, which reminded certain parts of my anatomy how much I liked it when he did, all of which I had to ignore or this conversation would become even more awkward.
“I don’t know, Vladdy. Twilight’s my sister from another world and I like her a lot."
"This situation is so intense, don't you think and I'm not going to take advantage of you,” Vladimir said as he wrapped his other wing around Dawn, pulling Dawn to his front and squeezed her with both of his hooves to cut off my words. “De-de, you are about to learn that you should expect more from the ponies in your life than remembering you need a toothbrush. A lot more. And I’m all kinds of down with that.”
I looked at his face. I felt that light shine down at me. I felt his wings around me, the strength of his body pressed to mine And then my world would never be the same when he said what he had to say, words that explained this sudden feeling deep in my gut.

Vladimir the astral captain smiled, he wasn’t handsome. He was straight-up beautiful. And I was right. I knew exactly what I had to do. So, for now, I smiled back. “Right, then,” I heard from behind me.
Dawn's mind kept thinking back to the recent battle with Grogar and her Twilight and her friends as remembering the war she fought in back in her homeworld which ended in death and destruction only leaving her alive.
Dawn then made a promise to herself to never pick up her sword again as she was still haunted by her demons and what she'd done when fighting in the Great Equestria war.
“You’re gonna have moments like that,” Captain Vladimir had said. “When you're not here, but you still got ponies around. Let them help you pull yourself out of ’em. Okay?”
Dawn made me nod again. “This is gonna get sorted, Dee-dee. It seems a lot and it seems scary, but,” he grinned a grin and joked, “we haven’t lost you yet.” which made Dawn smile.
"Dee-dee, listen I wasn't going to tell you this as I've been worried about how'd you'll respond but... Grogar and Carapace have escaped capture, I will do everything in my power to protect you and that starts right now." Vladimir said his gaze turning fierce before loosening up.
"Vladimir why would you go to such lengths for me when we hardly know each other?" Dawn mumbled.
"Dee-dee anypony in your situation would do this for another, and seeking safety from their enemies after surviving the complete devastation of their homeworld to find out that they need more protection from them." Vladimir declared openly before taking a sip of his drink.
"Oh, thank you Vladdy for cheering me up, I don't know what I'll ever do without you," Dawn said sliding her hooves from across the table and rested them on top of Vladdy's hooves affectionately.
Vladimir felt blushed at the immediate display and grasp her home with his smiling up at Dawn. "We're taking this one day at a time."
“We don't have time!" Dawn Al but yelled at the bat pony Captian before apologising to him.
"Vladdy, listen to me. I like you. You’re a good pony. So listen to me now, when I tell you I need to get out of your universe now. Save yourself because there’s no saving me."
"I'm only gonna drag you and the rest of your friends down, if you’re anywhere near Grogar he WILL take you down with me permanently.” Dawn said looked down at her cream & blueberry-cherry pancakes
Vladimir’s special pancakes were really that good. “Look at me,” Vladimir said. Dawn turned her gaze to his face. “I'm not blind to shit especially when it comes to you,” he declared firmly. “You need to let me go.” Dawn implied as she let go of his hold… Vladimir did not want her to go of his hoove.
Captain Vladimir then made a speech that made Dawn hung on his every word. “We’re going to defeat Grogar and then I'll take you out on a date before we decided to take this to the next level. Vladimir said taken a if bite out of his own strawberry covered sauce pancakes.
“You’re the nicest Stallion I’ve ever met,” Dawn whispered. “And this is a bad thing?” he did not whisper. “Can’t you see I’m trying to protect you?” Dawn asked pleading for him to understand her.
"Vladdy I don't care about what could be us right now, I just want you safe and your friends away from danger and if that means staying away from me then so be it!" Dawn says pushing her hooves away from his breakfus table.
Vladimir got up from the table and stood in front of Dawn stopping her from leaving his home.
"Are you quite finished, I'm never going to leave you alone again Dee-dee and we will stop Grogar that I promise you, together if we have too, we're taking this one day at a time."
"When do you become such a romantic?" Dawn said as Vladdy wiped away her tear away from Dawn's cheek with his wing.
"Since the day my eyes saw you, you've been the only mare on my mind day and night that I feel this desire to be with you constantly, That Shining and Valiant have been teasing me about it." Vladimir bend his head down and placed a kiss on her muzzle as he let out a growl of pleasure.
"I'm going to be involved with you romantically but it's hard not to want you in other ways," Vladimir said whispering in Dawn's ear.
As Vladimir happily watched his soon to be special someone turn a different hue that the buring in her face and the side of her neck.
"... I..would like that but can you wait...until Heart & Hooves day then you can have me all to yourself." Dawn said her voice muffled by his fur but Vladimir had excellent hearing and understood Dawn's words perfectly.
"I'll look forward to it, but I'll warn you now there be no sleeping when I get going," Vladimir said with a chuckle before leaving to go to the restroom.
When suddenly Dawn felt her eyes roll from the back of her head, when she started having fitting on the floor before blacking out completely but she could have heard Vladdy's panicked voice from across his kitchen.
I could hear voices mumbling around the room, but Dawn was unable to open her eyeslids no matter bow hard she tried even if she wanted too.
"Doctor Whooves, why is she not waking up!?" Vladimir said darting his nervous gaze towards he's girlfriend.
Dawn recognized that voice, her faithful Guard and current boyfriend Vladdy.
Doctor Whooves's facial expression had changed with concern in he's light cobalt blue eyes before returned his gaze towards the Guard.
"I may be out of line to say this Captain, but it was luck she fitted when she did as it saved her life."
"I've done a brain scan and it did show a bleed inside Dawn's brain. Which we ha have stopped but they maybe be the likehood of Dawn going blind in both eyes." The Doctor finished before pit down his chart.
Vladimir had to close his eyes and count to ten when he heard the Doctor says that Dawn's sudden fit had been perfect time as he resisted the urge to punch the earth pony Doctor in the face.
"Is that's you gave Dawn a powerful sleeping drug to help her with the pain she going throught." Vladimir asked The Doctor full calm now.
"She's... not is she!?" Queen Twilight ran into the room looking towards Dawn and then Vladimir as the Changeling Queen could only say these two words.
"No, Queen Twilight her body just needs time to recover is all but her spirit is another matter ." The Doctor said to her
"I'll go get Princess Luna and my brother they would wanted to see her."
"I'll stay with her Twi." Vladmir bowed his head in respectable towards Twilight.
"Vladmir have you rested yet?" Twilight asked her friend.
"I'm a bat-pony where creatures of the night, besides I can't sleep whilst Dawn's fighting for her life." Dawn said turning his gaze back towards the sleeping mare in the hospital bed.
"You do really love her, that much don't you." Queen Twilight stated to Vladimir with a small smile.
"Huh,I'm that see through?" Vladmir asked the Queen of Friendship who made quick nodded with her head confirming.
"Vlad, wearing your heart on your wing isn't a weakness, it shows great strength." Queen Twilight said before leaving the couple and given Vladimir some much needed quite time with Dawn who was still unconscious from the sleeping drug that Doctor.Whooves had given her.
"Please wake-up Dee-dee, sorry I wasn't with their for you much sooner, but I will from now on!" Vladimir said holding her hooves in his own firmly as he nuzzled her cheek softly. "Dawꪀa, why is thee here?" Princess Luna said her voice coming from across the room so softley that she almost missed her Auntie speaking.
"Dawꪀa's thy is dreaming right now, this is thee first's time seening thy dream, as you only have power-naps during thy sister's day." Princess Luna said as she wing-hugged her supposed daughter who was really her niece.
"Auntie Muna, I wished I could wake up as Vladdy must be worried sick about right now!?." as Dawn felt herself awake from the drug she was under. "What happened to me and why can't I see any-pony?" Dawn says trying to remove her bandages from her eyes.
"Careful, Princess!" Vladmir stop her movement with his wing before she could hurt herself. Princess Luna came into the hoiptal room and nuzzled Dawn with her muzzle.
"Lulu, is that you I can't see?" Dawn said in a panic tone of voice. "
Moonlight, Moonlight" "Fireflies awake!" "Make A Wish" "And Do A Little Shake." They both sang there song after giggling togther in laughter.
"The rest of us our coming in now!" Pinkie Pie said looking very excited with herself as the Mane 6 followed her inside.
"Pinkie Pie, Dawn needs peace and quiet as she to rest for now." Vladdy said lowering his voice softly as to not wake Dawn up.
"I'm glad I have an audience actually, I have some big news I want to discuss with you all and it concerns Dawn."
"Is she dying?!" Fluttshy said with tears in her eyes.
"Don't be silly Fluttershy, Dawn is as strong as a diamond." Rainbow Dash said proudly.
"Sugarcube, you can tell us, whatever happens in this room stays in this room!" AJ promised, as the other ponies in the room agreed to keep it a secret.
"Twilight, could I ask for your sister's hoof in marriage, I don't attain to marry her now but sometime in the near future?" Captain Vladimir said firmly.
"Captain, you have my blessing to marry my B.L.S.F.F." Twilight said prancing up and down the hospital room with such joy.
A loud voice cut through the joyful celebration by saying "Bro, I love mares not stallions, so I can't marry you!"
Rarity squealed and then fainted on the floor in shock.
Dawnie, think with all you're past as it seems it's not done with you." "Discord, what brings you here?" "Well, Fluttershy forgot our weekly tea party and I thought that was a bit strange, so I asked her what was wrong?" "But she wouldn't give me any answers, so I had to use drastic measures."
"I tickled her underneath the wings, until she told me that you where in here!" Discord said pointing to the hospital bed. "I have enough chaotic power to restore your eyesight but you will be deeply scarred across your eyelids."
"Why would you do this for me, Discord?" "We can't have our main character in this My Little Pony story, blind now can we?" Discord said with a knowing smile "Excuse me?" "FlutterTwi's followers will think this story will end on a dark note." Discord said with a chuckle to himself.
"She created this whole universe, it took her awhile mind due, and I'm here to deliver a special chest for you and to bring back from foal-sitting did you forget?" Discord magically pulling out a chest and a young unicorn filly out of thine air.
"My fourth wall break is almost up!" said Discord with a snap of his claws he restored Dawn's eyesight and disappeared into a cloud of smoke.
"Oh Buck, why didn't she ask Princess Luna to make Vladdy to take a holiday, he could really do with one as he hasn't left her bediside for Oh My Luna how long?!" Dawn thought to herself heaving a fustrated sigh before Vladdy got up to get her something to eat.
There was another knock at the door but this time it wasn't Vladdy coming back with food, but a nurse pony earth mare coming in to check on her vital signs.
"Oh I'm sorry, I can come back later if you wish?" Vladimir said entering the room with a plate full of food he looked a little embarrassed with himself for not checking that somepony else would be in the room.
Everypony in this hospital should be easily fooled with X-59 's deception but he was a little unsure about Captain Vladimir. He would definitely smell a rat and might come after him as X-59 could practically taste the love energy coming off the Thestral for the unicorn mare sitting up in a hospital bed.
"The patient will be fine, she just needs plenty of rest." said the nurse pony in the most sickly sweet voice Vladimir had heard from anypony else before.
"Now, I must leave immediately other patients need my assistance." The Nurse pony told Vladimir and Dawn get ready to leave the room.
"Wait, what's your name?" Asked Captain Vladimir approaching the nurse pony.
"Nurse Redbird, at your service!" she said with a small smile.
"Thank you, for taking very good care of Dawn, I appreciate it more than you know." Vladimir said before walking away from Nurse Redbird and towards Dawn's bedside to planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Fuck this is harder then I thought it was going to be said the Changeling assassin when he was out of earshot of everypony. He needed to come up with another plan to take Dawn with him.
The rest of the mane six had came back a little later as Vladimir had told them that the nurse said she need some more rest.

"Why would Dawn suddenly leave the hospital room without anybody noticing?" asked Pinkie Pie.
"I know, let's ask Discord I actually told him why I couldn't make our tea party today." Fluttershy said sheepishly.
"you told Discord!?" everypony shouted out in surprise.
"Now, now, don't be mad at Fluttershy, I did tickle torture her until she told me!" Discord said coming to Fluttershy's defence.
"What happened, when you visited Dawn a few hours ago, because she's not here now!" Fluttershy asked him politely then her other friends.
"Fluttershy, I only restored her eyesight and then I left."
"I'm not a monster despite what you ponies think of me!"
"You can do that?!" Queen Twilight was flabbergasted for once.
"What would be done, if you had succeeded little one?" Princess Luna said worry in her tone of voice.
"Luna's, right you cannot be trusted from now on you are grounded and will have a royal guard member that will escort at all time when staying with us or anywhere else from this day forth!" Princess Celetia said looking furious.
"Vespertillio and Solar Flare will be with you at all the hours of thee day and Night!" Princess Luna said firmly.
"That's not fair, they need a rest too!?" Dawn said think about how hard it will be on Vladdy sleeping pattern.
"It was their idea not ours, Little one and It's better for everypony!" Luna said before Vladimir escorted Dawn back to her room personally.
Sergent Solar Flare was waiting by her door with an angry expression on his face. "You owe me an apology, Princess right now!"
"Not now, she's doesn't." Vladdy responded before Dawn could apologize to Solar Flare.
Sergeant Solar Flare gazed towards Captain Vespertillio and then back at Dawn. Before taking a step forward Dawn.
The Luna Guard then blocked Sergeant's view of Dawn and was giving him a very angry look.
"I'm not going to bite her Captain, although it looks like you're ready too!" Solar said sneering back at the Bat-pony knowing that would hurt his feelings.
Dawn pushed past Vladdy and slap Solar Flare on on the side of his face so violently, that it seemed the whole of Equestria was spinning upside down.
"Vladdy, never BITES!!" Dawn says before walking away from The Crystal Pegasus and slamming the door shut behind her, leaving her two Royal Guards outside her room.
Both of The Royal Guards stood there wondering what in Equestria had happened to their beloved Princess?
Vladimir then knocked on Dawn's bedroom chamber doors and waited for her to open it with her magic.
"The Door is open!" Captain Vladimir could hear Dawn's response thought to the closed door and went inside the room closings door behind him.
"Um, Princess about earlier." Vespertillo said awkwardly whist rubbing the back of his neck with his hoove anxiously.
"Forget about that, please Vladdy." "I feel so ashamed with myself already." not able to meet his gaze.
Captain Vladimir lifted her head up with his hoove to see Dawn's face and then he noticed the open wound on the inside of her hoove.
Vladdy flinched as he tried to regain his control but the smell of her blood was blocking it. He hadn't tasted blood in centuries, so why was his blood lust returning now?!
"We... need to cover that up quickly!" He tried to speak but his sharp teeth were making it hard to hear him.
Dawn could see the sudden change in Vladdy's personality, as his eyes glowed a bright crimson red and he'd crept slowly towards her being careful as to not frighten her.
Vladdy then stuck out his tough and started licking her open wound, which felt weird to Daw for some reason
"What delicious blood, you have Princess!" he voice was husky and filled with such pleasure.
The wound was still bleeding and she wanted her Vladdy back to normal not who he'd become right now which was a blood sucking bat-pony.
She quickly cast a healing spell over her wound and Vladdy's eyes had turned back to normal.
Vladimir was in a daze for a moment before he spoke up again. "Did I do something to you?"
"You licked my cut before giving me a chance to heal it with my magic." Dawn said blushing a little.
"I thought bat-ponies, don't drink blood anymore?" Dawn says rising her eyebrows up in confusion.
"We, don't!" Vladimir said a little to sharply at Dawn before winching at his lost in temper and apologized.
"It's okay Vladdy." Dawn said with a small smile.
"I don't know what's wrong with me lately, Bloody Hay!" Vladimir said ashamed of his behaviour towards Dawn.
Dawn kissed his muzzle before stepping back a few paces from him to get him some space.
"Vladdy, thy is perfect and the sooner a mare loves you the better!" Dawn said with a sudden sad look across her face when she said those words.
"But, I've already found her!" Vladimir said wrapping his bat-like wing around Dawn in a loving wing-hug.
He then kissed her back but more passionately and with fangs.
The next evening in the royal hall Dawn wanted to introduce Eureke to The royal sister and also Queen Twilight and her friends probably this time.
"This is Eureke the daughter of Twilight and Flash Sentry." Dawn said bring the filly forwards so their could get a better look at her.
"Mommy knows that already Auntie." Eureke said with a giggle as she went up to hug Queen Twilight's forhoove with affection in her eyes.
Hearing Eureke say that made Dawn's temper rise as she shouted at her regardless of everyone watching her display.
"Your Mother and Father are never coming back , so you stuck with useless me!" She is not your mother or my sister and she, 'll never will be!? SHE NOT MY TWILY, as she can't come back from death... so stop waiting for it happen as it's all your fault, why couldn't you be STRONGER?!" Dawn shouted at her niece as her eyes started glowing a pure shade of white that you couldn't evrn see her pulse anymore and had gained the attention of the Princesses and Changeling Queen.
Dawn then used a teleporting spell to get away everypony and her now crying niece who was calling after her."...Aunty sun-sun, wait!" Eureke said in between her sobs as she tries to run towards her before Dawn disappeared from everyone's sight.
"Sugercube, your aunty is under a lot of stress and loves ya, I can tell all those words were more about her then yourself." Apple Jack says hostly.
"Twilight, your sister from another Equstria beats your record for having a mental breakdown and it was even in front of Canterlot royalty, as you only freaked out over a forgotten friendship report infront of half of ponyville." Pinky pie said tpwards Queen Twilight and then bouncing herself towards the unicorn filly and making funny faces in attempt to cheer her up.
"Dee-dee, is not having a mental breakdown but is griven" Vladimir had said to the pink party pony before going after Dawn and had stop himself in the hallway at seeing her silent tears rolling down Dawn's red face.
(She's been here all alone, crying her heart out and we're was I... I couldn't even comfort her in her moment of great regrets and grive.) Vladimir had angrily thought to himself.
"I don't need your pity Captain!" Dawn said as she gently pushed away the Thestral who was trying to console her.
"I will never pity you and we're way past formalities by now since we've met you have never called me." Vladimir said as he then kissed the top of her forehead.
"Vladdy, If you finish that sentence with "stop blaming yourself" then whatever our relationship is we might as well end it right now!" Dawn quickly snapped back at him not taking her gaze of the stary night sky.
What Dawn had just said to him had shocked The Captain Of The Luna Guard to his very core that he wrapped his wings around Dawn so she couldn't escape from him.
As he then pressed his muzzle and kissed her with such intense feelings of love that it would Princess Cadence blush herself. Vladimir could hardly recognised this upcoming emotion but he had a feeling that he might had fallen passionately in love with Dawn with only knowing her for a few days.
Auntie, What's a Soulmate?" asked Eureka the next morning to Dawn. The two had already made up the the night before as Dawn had gifted Eureka with her very own doll named Clever Clogs as a way to apologise for her little outburst yesterday.
"Eureka, it's like a best friend but more, it's the one pony in Equstria who knows you better then anypony else, somepony who make you a better pony then you were before, actually they don't make you a better pony you do that yourself because they inspire you, a soulmate is somepony who you carry with you forever, its the one pony who knew you and excepts you and believes in you when no pony else did or when no pony else would and no matter what happens you'll always love them and nothing can ever change that."
What Dawn didn’t know was that Vladimir was standing right behind her and had heard every single beautiful word she had just said to her niece.
"So, I'm your Soulmate instead of your boyfriend." Vladimir said giving his marefriend a kiss on the cheek, he'd wanted to give Dawn a Kiss on the muzzle but her niece was standing infront of them.
"Uncle Vlad!" The Unicorn filly rushed up and hugged the bat-pony Captain in surprise.
"Umm... did you happen to hear what I just said to Eureka earlier?"
"Oh, I heard every single word and I'll show my appreciation later when we're alone tonight." Vladimir said quietly and giving Dawn a quick wink.
Just then Queen Twilight enter the room looking around for somepony until her gaze landed on Eureka and her whole expression light up with pure warmth. "Eureka, how would you like to go back to the hive with me before I go back to do my royal duties."
"Can Auntie come too?" Th unicorn filly said pleading with big puppy dog eyes at her second mother.
"Of course she coming too, we are sisters after all and we need to stick together. " Queen Twilight said before leaving the room to get her stuff ready for the trip.
"Well Vladdy, looks like you'll going to have to put your plans on hold for tonight. " Dawn looking a little disappointed.
"Oh, don't be so sure." Vladimir chuckled back to Dawn with a knowing smile across his fanged muzzle.
