Hello my name is Amethyst Rose and I used to be human, One day my best friend, my sisters and I began turning into ponies, beginning the biggest adventure of our lives, So you better get comfy because this is my story.
Hello everypony this story is based on MidnightChaos's OTVerse And also to clear this up the Oc Amethyst Rose is my own and the other Oc's Belong to my sisters and best friend who have given me permission to use their Oc's in my story.
Ok, um, Dear Diary, I guess?… Is that a good start? Sorry, this is my first time writing my thoughts down, Alright Twilight said I should start writing like a Diary or something to get all my thoughts out on paper, so I guess I will begin my story with the day things started going crazy.
I was just a normal 15 year old guy who went to High school I was in 9th Grade Freshman year... You know what fine, No I was not normal the opposite in fact, No matter how hard I tried I could never fit in anywhere, that is until now. My name is Amethyst Rose… Well, for now you probably know me as Will, this is the story of how my life all changed one day, along with the rest of the world of course.
*Beep! Beep! Beep! *
My alarm clock beeped, 6 A.M it was time to get ready for school
"Ugh, Already? It feels like I just went to sleep" I complained.
Then, as if to confirm it My door slams open and my sister Katie came running in jumping on me yelling "come on Will time to get ready for school!" She Yelled
"Alright, Alright! I'm up" I complained again "Do you have to wake me up like this all the time?"
"Yep!" She said like she was stating the obvious, Then she left the room probably To wake up Courtney for some reason,
I have three sisters, Katie, the one who just woke me up... After I was already awake, then there is Courtney, she is the oldest out of my sisters and is obsessed with her phone, probably why she fell off her bike and broke her collarbone, she 'Says' she was just holding it not texting or anything, but no one really believes her, we tend to tease her about it from time to time. My third sister who's the youngest is Sara, she is not the easiest to get along with, one moment she is nice the next she is grumpy and as talkative as a rock... Actually, the rock is more talkative when she is in one of her 'Moods' best to steer clear when she is in one of her ‘Moods’.
I looked at the clock, 6:50 I still had a few minutes before I had to leave so I pulled out my phone put on some music and went online to see if the Early Morning Discussion was up on Friendship Daily yet, seeing that it was I typed a quick message something along the lines of "Good Morning! How is everypony doing this morning?" Almost instantly I had a few replies I scrolled through them for some pony to start a conversation with
"Hey Rose I'm doing good, How are you?" Grazie replied
"Hey Grazie! A little stressed out I completely forgot to study for my Science Test today, I have to go now, bye Grazie!"
"See you later Rose, Good luck on that Test!" I read.
Yeah, I’m a fan of Mlp along with 2 of my sisters Katie, Courtney and of course Zoran my Best Friend, I think he was the one who got me started watching Mlp, not at first of course he mentioned it and awhile later I decided to check it ou and of course I loved it ever since, I turned off the screen and grabbed my bag.
"Will, come on, it's time to leave" my mom said "Coming!" I quickly ran outside and sat in the front seat my sisters, Katie and Courtney had the day off school today, Why is it that they had the day off and I didn't? Our schools had the same schedule and it couldn't have been anything major seeing our schools were right next to each other…
(Later that day)
I looked around suddenly aware that someone was calling
My name "Will, are you alright?" Mrs. Hesson my algebra teacher asked
"What? Oh, um yeah, I'm fine, I just um, yeah, I'm fine." I said. She looked at me for a moment before continuing with class.
huh, I must have spaced out just then, I was currently in my 3rd period class. I inwardly groaned as I remembered that I had a Test in science next period, I hate going to that class I like chemistry, but the teacher there makes me so nervous he calls me out all the time and I swear it’s like he is doing it on purpose.
I was leaning on my elbows and looked back to the homework assignment that Mrs. Hesson handed out, then suddenly my vision blurred and a blinding white light was all I could see, I tried to call out to someone when I felt myself go limp as I passed out.
I groaned as I sat up and noticed I was no longer in class, but in the nurse's office,
“Looks like you're awake now” the nurse said “They thought you just fell asleep but after you wouldn’t respond they brought you down here”
I tried to sit up, then I felt I painful pinching in my lower back, She must have noticed since she said “Take it easy, the buses are about to arrive, but if you don’t feel up to it I can call your parents to take you home”
My parents wouldn’t be home with my dad was out of the state working on a job and my mom would still be at work for the next 3 hours “No I’ll be fine” I said
“Alright, you can rest here for the next few minutes until classes are over then you can leave” she said leaving the room.
Was I really out that long? That was what 3? 4 hours ago? Well, Atleast I won't have to worry about the test for another day
I sat up again, feeling that familiar pinching in my lower back, I sat up and walked to the bathroom by now I could feel that there was something definitely strange was going on like there was something attached to my back there, but that doesn't make any sense.
I turned my head as best I could, I froze Dumbfounded at what I was staring at, attached to my tailbone was a Cyan and pink striped tail, It looked familiar, but I couldn’t decide where it seemed familiar from, snapping out of it I stuffed my tail in my pants hopeing that it would be hidden from sight, Leaving the bathroom I saw the school nurse walk over to me again
“You can get what you need from your locker the bell is about to ring” She said
“Ok, ” I replied I opened the door and walked out of the office half expecting to hear people talking about me having a tail, but I was relieved when that was not the case it was slightly awkward walking the new appendage throwing off my balance as I grabbed my stuff and rushed to the bus not willing to miss it especially when something was obviously was going on.
*Later, at Home*
As soon as I was home, I Put my backpack on the hook and ran into my room, annoyingly finding Katie waiting in my room.
“Finally, your home, Want to play Minecraft?” She asked “Oh, and earlier today when I was watching YouTube I passed out and these grew” She said pulling off her hat revealing 2 Light Blue Bat Pony Ears
I sighed “Alright, So it’s not just me, and no I'm not playing Minecraft right now ” I said Pulling out my tail and showing it to Katie
“So it's the pony apocalypse?” She said looking out the window
“Uh….. No, ” I said Facehoofing…. Even though I don’t have hooves…..
“Awwww” She complained
“Alright anyway do you know where my laptop is I want to see if others are changing too” I asked Katie
“I know, Courtney is on it” She replied
“Of Course she is…” I sighed “I’ll be back” I said, leaving my room and walking up the stairs to Courtney’s bedroom
“Courtney? I need my computer!” I said walking up the stairs
“What? Nuuuu!” Courtney complained hiding the computer
“I need my computer so give it to me…. Or else, ” I said
“Or else what?” She asked
“Or else, I will bring Katie in, ” I said, reaching the top of the stairs
Courtney stared at something behind me for a moment before answering, “I didn’t know you were into cosplaying” she said surprised
“What do you mean Cosplay-” I stopped mid sentence before I mentally smacked my head into the wall, I had forgotten to hide my tail
“What is taking you so long Will?” Katie said coming from behind me with her pony ears showing
“You’re cosplaying too?” Courtney asked, confused while I was still struggling not to smack my head into the wall and give myself any more of a headache
“Ugh, great alright, how should I explain this me and Katie are-” I stopped as I spotted A slight Twitch beneath Courtney’s hoodie “Uh Courtney could you pull your hood down for a moment?” I asked her
“Ok…?” She said confused by what was going on and pulled her hood off her head, revealing 2 black pony ears almost invisible underneath her brown hair
“Alright, well Courtney, welcome to the club” I said vaguely confusing her more “Katie, me, and now you seem to also be changing, Katie grew pony ears, I grew a tail and you also have grown pony ears” I said grabbing a mirror and giving it to Courtney. “So, uh Courtney can I have my laptop so I can find out what’s happening now?” I asked her.
“Uh Courtney?” I asked as Courtney continued to stare into the mirror “Alright then... I’ll just go downstairs and... Start researching now?” I said as I grabbed my laptop and walked down the stairs
“Alright Courtney seems to be in shock right now, ” I muttered to myself while sitting on my bed booting up my laptop “I’ll check back up on her in a while and if she still won’t snap out of it I will either let Midnight in or I’ll get cold water”
I opened up my browser and began my search….
*40 minutes Later*
“Let’s see, nope, Spam, Spam, Troll, Spam, Hate, and more Spam” I sighed, still scrolling through search results “Ooh, this looks promising” I said clicking on a video of some news channel.
The Video
“This is Gertrude, reporting from Scotland and we are getting reports of people beginning to change into Oc ponies that they have made apparent from the show My little Pony: Friendship is Magic back to you Larry” she said before the screen changed to a guy in an office.
“Thank you Gertrude, That is correct and it turns out that this phenomenon is happening worldwide, So far it only appears to be affecting fans of the show and those who have made an OC, We are also receiving news that 2 College students are taking responsibility for the outbreak apparently one of them plugged a computer into a particle accelerator that they built and plugged in a laptop to charge while watching the show My little Pony, they are currently planning an emergency convention in Chicago later this week, Specialists worldwide from Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are asking citizens to please remain indoors and not to travel anywhere to minimize risk of spreading the Disease if it is confirmed to be Contagious” Larry Said “Tune in next time for more details on the situation”
“Wait, 2 college students built a particle Collider?” I Thought out aloud “And we're turning into our Oc’s?... Oh! So I’m turning into Amethyst Rose” I facepalmed “That’s why my tail seemed so familiar”
Katie slammed my door open suddenly stopping my train of thought “Hey Will, did you find anything?” Katie asked
“Yeah, actually, but I think we should get Courtney first I will not keep repeating myself, ” I said as I made my way to Courtney’s room she was still in the same position staring at the mirror in shock “Hey Courtney, Snap out of it” I said
Courtney didn’t show any sign of hearing me, I sighed “Courtney do I have to get ice water?” I asked her, that seemed to work
“What?” She asked, looking confused
“Good then I don’t have to get the Ice water, Alright, I found out what happened…. More or less” I Shrugged “I’ll give you the short version, This is happening worldwide to fans of My little pony we are turning into our OC’s and 2 College students are claiming that it was their fault and they are holding a convention in Chicago in a few days and the CDC are thinking it may be contagious, so we may have problems if we want to attend to learn what is going on” I said gasping in air
No one said anything and in an attempt to break the silence, I started talking again
“I’m not sure how long it will take to get to Chicago so we should figure out when we're going once mom get’s home….” I trailed off “Shoot, I completely forgot, how are we going to tell mom?” I asked.
*1 time skip later*
I groaned as I looked at the clock “That was a very unproductive hour” I said “all we came up with was ways to keep her from panicking long enough for us to tell her and how to keep her from getting hurt if she faints” I glanced at Katie “and I don't think she is going to faint” I said
“Alright then how about this if she faints you owe me 5 dollars and if she doesn't faint I owe you 5 dollars, Deal?” Katie said evilly.
I thought about it for a moment,
“Deal, Now does anyone know how long until mom will be back-” *thunk* I heard the sound of a car door closing “well, it sounds like she just home, let's go explain”
“Hey mom, can you come over here and sit down for a moment we need to talk to you” Courtney said leading mom to the living room
“Ok, what is it you need to tell me?” she asked, sitting down on the couch
“Okay mom before we tell you, please promise you won't panic” I asked her calmly
“Okay, I'll try, but, tell me what?” mom said, looking suspicious of what we had to say
“This” Katie stated bluntly pulling off her hat revealing her pony ears *Ka-thunk*
I glared at Katie, “a little blunt don't you think?”
She shrugged “you owe me 5 dollars” she said grinning
I sighed and went to Make sure that she was alright. What happened to us putting pillows, down?
After a while we managed to wake her up and explain things to her, Contradictory to what happened earlier, she took it surprisingly well and was supportive about it,
Mom was making lunch when she asked “So when do you plan on leaving to that convention you mentioned earlier?”
I gave her a confused look “What do you mean?”
“I can’t just take off on a few days trip without any warning I need to watch Sara along with the pets and I will have to explain what’s happening to your dad when he gets home, in a few days” She sighed “ So even though you only have your driver's permit you're going to have to drive you and your sisters down to Chicago you three need to find out what’s happening, And seeing as it’s in another day or two you need to pack up and get a move on so you don’t miss it”
“Alright, I will let them know to start packing” I said, walking into the living room to tell everyone to start packing “Hey Courtney, Katie! We're leaving soon so start packing!” I paused, then added to what I said “And don’t bring too much stuff that is unnecessary!”
I walked into my room and pulled open the suitcase I had forgotten to unpack from last weekends slumber party at my friends “Eh it looks like that’s everything, Convenient” I said next I grabbed my computer off the top shelf of my room and started packing it with my laptop, Mouse and chargers before I left my room, I took one last look around just slightly sad like it was the last time I would see this place for a long time, but not wanting to be the reason we missed the convention I quickly shook the feeling off and went to check if my sisters were finished packing yet.
It was about 10 minutes later when they were finally finished packing I looked at Katie's suitcase and noticed how it looked like it was about to explode from how full it was “What did you put in there” I asked suspicious to the answer
“Stuffed animals, ” she said sheepishly
“I said to only pack what you needed” I sighed “Oh well, there isn't any time, come on and load up your stuff”
I heard my phone as it started ringing and checked to see who was calling I was relieved that I had remembered to turn it off silent mode when I saw that it was Zoran calling “Hello?” I asked
“Hey, uh Will, could you please come quick I really need a ride to Chicago none of the cars over here will start, I will explain everything when you get here” Zoran said nervously
“Alright, don’t worry, we were actually planning on leaving already we will be there as soon as possible” I said
“OK, thank you I will get my stuff ready for when you get here, you remember my address right?” he asked
“Yeah, don’t worry, I still remember” I said, chuckling slightly I honestly probably had the worst memory out of everyone I knew
“Alright, cya then Will, bye, ” he said
“Bye Zoran” I replied
I hung up, then turned to my sisters who were already getting in the car Katie taking the passenger seat and Courtney sits in the middle row of seats on the right side of the van “Change of plans we are going to pick Zoran up first, ” I said
“Is he a pony too!?” Katie asked excited
I facepalmed “I completely forgot to ask, but I’m assuming so if he is also planning on traveling” I said
I put in Zoran’s address and began to pull out of the makeshift driveway beginning the start of what would soon be the craziest road trip we would ever have.
It was actually a surprisingly calm 30 minute drive to Zoran’s House, I saw Zoran waiting just inside waiting by the door, he had a jacket on and kept shifting it around looking uncomfortable
Once he saw me pull into the driveway, he made his way to the van
“Thanks for coming, Will” Zoran said
“Don’t worry about it, that’s what friends are for, ” I said
“We can talk on the way to Chicago I already packed my stuff” he said, holding up his backpack and computer bag” He looked back at the van and seemed to notice that no one else was in there and it was only me and 2 of my sisters “So…. Where's your mom and dad?” Zoran asked
“She couldn’t come with but we needed to go, I was worried the entire time that I would get pulled over for being underage, but thankfully we didn’t, and now we have you to help us out in case we get pulled over in the future” I said “We should talk more on the way never know who may be watching” Thinking back on it I don’t think there was really someone watching us, and I was just being overly paranoid, but hey better safe than sorry right?
Once we were in the van Zoran put it together quickly and said “So you’re all changing too?” he asked
“Yep, Katie and Courtney grew pony ears and I grew a tail” I paused for a moment, “So what did you get Zoran?”
In response he lifted up the back of his jacket to reveal 2 small blue, Dragon Wings? Strange
“Am I seriously going to be the only unicorn in this group soon enough?” Everyone gave me a look “What? You all saw the news were all turning into our Oc’s and my Oc is a unicorn”
“Well Pegasus are awesome” Katie said
“Well, I think unicorns are equally as awesome, besides, I could always learn to build my own wings if we end up as full ponies” I pointed out
I was about to start the car when I felt the familiar pain from earlier today when I grew my tail just not as painful as before I tried to look a good look in the mirror to try to see what else changed and saw that not all that much had changed other than that, my mane- or soon to be mane was slightly longer and was turning the same color as my tail at the roots of my hair and my forehead seemed to have a slight bump that was barely noticeable.
I turned around to see if anything else happened to anyone else Zoran’s wings had gotten slightly bigger and his hair was turning Dark Blue and White, Courtney’s hair had some purple with black streaks in it and Katie was beginning to have some light aquamarine blue fur growing,
We also noticed the very beginnings of wings growing in, the feathery kind this time not the scaly kind
“Well, that answers one of our unasked questions” I said before starting the car and set our jeeps to take us to Chicago “Well, looks like it’s only 4 and a half hours to get there, this shouldn’t take too long” I said.
*1 hour and a half hours later*
As soon as those words left my mouth, I was mentally yelling at myself for forgetting one of the things I have learned, Never. Tempt. Fate. We were currently parked on the side of the road planning what we should do next, at first things were great we were making great time, then we saw the roadblocks “Dang it, why the hay is there roadblocks?” I asked no one in particular
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Courtney look up, then continued whatever she was doing on my laptop
“It’s probably the CDC’s checkpoints to make sure no one who is turning into a pony can travel” She said not noticing the look I was giving her
“And why is it that you never mentioned this to me?” I asked
She shrugged “I forgot to mention it, ” she said
I sighed “Alright is there any road we could take to avoid the checkpoint?” I asked
“Nope, not that I can see anyway all the other roads are closed for construction. And the fastest way if we turn around would take about a day to go around” she said
“If we go around the long way, there’s no guarantee that we will make in time, and that’s assuming the other roads down that way are not blocked off as well” I said “Alright, here’s the plan. We’ll rest up here until it gets dark and then I do something I know for a fact will come back to bite us in the flank later, ” I said not liking the plan but not seeing any better options. “Goodnight Everyone” I said, closing my eyes and letting sleep claim me.
I groaned as the alarm on my phone went off, I sat up and stretched, hearing my muscles pop I looked around to see that it was pitch black out, I cracked open the driver's door slightly letting the automatic lights come on and after a minute of searching, I found my phone and silenced the stress inducing alarm, I looked back to see that everyone else was still asleep except for me,
Deciding to let them sleep in a little longer to check for any changes I looked backed to the front of the van and to my dismay I noticed I was already about a foot shorter and was beginning to have problems looking over the steering wheel “Well, this is going to make driving to Chicago more difficult” I muttered noticing my voice was a few pitches higher than it was earlier, I stood up on the chair to get a better look in the small mirror, my hair had completely finished changing color into a strip of aqua blue and 2 hot pink strips on either side of it and now it also came down to about below my shoulders and strangely enough 2 aqua blue bows just like the ones my Oc have tied my mane back into 2 ponytails, my face looked smoother and younger like that of a little girl’s and I’m not sure if it was the dim light that was playing tricks on me or not but my eyes seemed a fraction larger and were now a deep purple.
I looked back at the others to see that they went through some more specie defining changes Zoran was in the same boat as me and seemed to be slightly younger and was getting smaller, his wings were definitely larger and seemed to be almost fully grown in, his hair was growing longer and was picking up patches of Dark Blue and White and I could see patches of Light blue fur growing on his neck.
Courtney’s hair color was almost fully Black and purple Katie was getting the beginning’s of Dark blue and purple stripes in her hair, Katie's wings were larger and I could see a slight lump in the back of Courtney's shirt probably the beginning of wings It’s strange how it seems to be the changes for the special ability of each race seemed to be happening one at a time for some reason, although following that line of reasoning I would be growing a horn next Which meant the changes were speeding up and we really needed to hurry to Chicago before Zoran and I both grew hooves.
“Alright everypony wake up!” I shouted waking them “Get your seat-belts on we need to get to Chicago but the checkpoint is in the way, let’s hope this doesn’t fail miserably and we’re all captured” I said getting my own seat-belt on straining to see the road I started the car wincing when I felt the lack of dexterity in my hands and figured the others weren’t far behind and we still had 3 hours left to go…..just great……
I checked to make sure there wasn’t any cars on the road before shifting into drive and pulled onto the road as soon as I was on the road and was lined up with the gate I slammed on the accelerator and didn’t let off I could hear the guards shouting at us to stop as the front of the van slammed into the metal fence everything was moving like it was in slow-mo for a moment I could hear my sisters screaming from excitement or fear I couldn’t tell which, the sound of glass cracking and shattering metal bending and snapping, sparks going everywhere and then it ended just like that, I closed my eyes to avoid glass and other shrapnel getting into my eyes, I didn’t know if they would send anyone to chase us but I wouldn’t risk it so I kept driving.
I don’t know how long it was before I realized I was still driving when suddenly the engine started sputtering and black smoke started to flood the car Frustrated, I pulled over and turned off the engine and got out of the van after a bit of difficulty since by now I could barely move my fingers
I looked back at the vehicle and sighed busting through the gate hadn’t helped the already old and battered car there was glass and mangled metal everywhere revealing the shredded engine, I’m actually surprised it made it this far looking like this I looked around to see a home down the road “Let’s go see if we can get some help from them” I said pointing a hand that was almost entirely a hoof by now, down the road at the house.
As we approached the small farm house I turned to everyone else “stay here, I will check to see if it’s alright, if it’s safe I will call out to you” They nodded in agreement
While I was walking towards the front door of the house I heard Katie silently chanting “Sacrifice, Sacrifice, Sacrifice!” Over and Over
I took a deep breath and braced myself, then knocked on the door with a hoof when the door didn’t open for a minute I was about to leave when suddenly an elderly woman opened the door she smiled when she saw me “Hello” She said
“Hi, our car broke down by the side of the road down that way and me and my friends were hoping we could stay here to rest up” I said
“Of course you can, where is everyone else you were talking about?” She asked then noticed instead of hands, I had hooves, She seemed surprised for a moment before continuing “Oh, so you’re one of those people turning into ponies, I’m assuming you're going to that convention in Chicago correct?” She asked
I nodded my head, “Yeah, we haven't been exactly lucky on our trip so far”
“Oh dear, well go get your friends you can sleep in the guest rooms while I prepare something for you to eat you must be exhausted from traveling all day” she said
“OK everyone, it’s OK” I called out “ She said we can take the guest rooms” I said
“Oh, hello, these must be your friends, ” she said “My name is Amanda and the guest rooms are down at the end of the hallway, tell me if you need anything” She said
“Thank you Amanda for letting us stay here, ” I said smiling politely
“It’s no problem, now go get some rest you four look like you're going to pass out”
I just nodded in response and headed in the direction of the guest rooms and soon as my head touched the pillow I passed out.
Groggily, I woke up as the sun shined in my eyes, I ‘Tried’ to stand up, but my legs got caught in the blankets and I fell face first into the hard wooden floor,
I tried to get up again and walk to the door but ended up once again falling face first into the floor I looked at what tripped me and that's when I noticed that I was smaller a lot smaller, after a minute I crawled my way free from the clothes that was now way to big and was trying to trap me, slowly I managed to drag myself across the floor to the mirror in the corner of the room and quickly I noticed that while I was asleep I had fully turned into a pony, I was a unicorn filly about the CMC’s Age, my mane had three stripes with aqua blue in the center with hot pink surrounding it and on either was two aqua blue bows tying my mane into ponytails, my tail was the same color as my mane and my fur was violet and my hooves were a lighter violet and finally, my eyes were a deep purple.
I took a deep breath “So much for making it to Chicago before we became full ponies” I said out loud to no one, I turned towards the door and noticed that it was closed it was the kind with the lever not the knob thankfully “Alright, how am I going to get this door open?” I thought aloud, There was no chairs of any kind in the room and the handle was way too high, there was however a small bucket and plank of wood, I looked up saw that there was an old backpack with a strap hanging down low enough for me to grab, I could see the plan forming in my head already and I could see that I would be in for a world of pain soon enough.
* 10 minutes later of me being a complete Idiot*
I finished my plan by carefully laying the wooden board down on the bucket using my teeth, pony teeth are surprisingly strong, I stood on the end of the board the furthest away from the door and grabbed the strap in my teeth and was ready to pull it off the shelf I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes “This is going to bucking hurt so much” I said hoping that I would be wrong, as I smashed into the door I flailed my hooves around frantically trying to open the door but failing miserably I crashed into the floor rolling around in pain “Buck that hurt!” I said through clenched teeth “And it failed too!” I added irritated I stood up and looked back to the door, only for my left eye to begin twitching crazily the door was swinging open, but NOT because I broke the lock… Because it wasn’t locked In the first place. I ran out of the room Shouting “FREEDOM!” I calmly took a deep breath and walked down the hallway and into the kitchen, noticing everypony was eating “Hi everypony” I said “Looks like we all finished changing last night”
Zoran looked at me strangely “Will?” he asked, “is that you?”
Oh, Right, I never told him that my Oc was a filly
“Uh.. yeah,” I said chuckling nervously “although since we are now full ponies I think it may be more appropriate if we use pony names, you don’t have to but you can call me Amethyst Rose now or Rose for short” I said trying to end the awkwardness.
They seemed to agree with the pony names and eventually we agreed on these names Amethyst Rose -Me Duh! Raven Shade -Courtney, Shadow Heart -Katie and last
Lightning Star -Zoran.
“Alright, so now that's done with what should we do now-” I paused and looked around before sighing “Where did Katie or Shadow go now?” I asked my voice squeaking slightly, if I wasn’t trying to come up with a plan I would have giggled at how Cute I sounded… What? I can be adorable as much as I want and you can’t stop me
“Hmm?” Courtney asked setting down a stylus “Oh I think she said something about practicing flying outside but I didn’t see if she went outside or not” courtney said looking back to the tablet she was allowed to use
“Guys!” Katie’s panicked voice called out as she clumsily flew through the window, ‘If she wasn’t so panicked I would have giggled at how she came flying in but I held it in knowing something was wrong
“Katie where were you?” I asked
“I was outside flying Duh” She said “As I was flying I saw some cop cars pull up they are coming to this house”
I silently cursed “They must have saw the van, We have to go now!” I said
The lady, Sorry, Amanda, who was silent through the whole thing spoke up, “I will keep them busy, you can take my car, it’s parked in back, Good luck” She said making her way to the front door with her cane
We didn’t wait around, we quickly all bolted towards the back door glad to see it wasn’t shut as we quickly ran into the yard it took us a moment, but we spotted the car off to the side I was the first one there, but that is when we spotted the problem
“How are we going to get inside were way too small and I don’t think we can open the door with hooves” Zoran/Lightning Star said
I looked up and spotted the window rolled down and thought quickly “Everypony give me a lift up!” I shouted It took them a moment, but eventually they managed to fling me over the edge and send me tumbling into the seat “Courtney get me that stick” I said pointing a hoof at the stick near the tree.
As soon as it was in reach I grabbed it in my mouth and jammed in between the handle and door and pulled until I heard the click of the lock, I then bucked the door open it wasn’t much of a kick since I wasn’t an earth pony and I was just a filly, but it was enough to get the door open so they could get themselves inside, Katie/shadow was the last one in when once she was in I bit the edge of the door and pulled it closed.
“Does anypony know where the keys are?” I asked around In response I saw Zoran stick the keys in the ignition and start it I grinned “Awesome! Now Raven and Shadow you get to control the pedals and Zoran you work the shift” I said my grin getting bigger “And I get to relearn how to steer with hooves” I added as an afterthought which did nothing to reassure anypony “Alright hit the gas!” I shouted as the car lurched into motion startling the 2 police officers talking to Amanda.
As we sped off onto the road I swear I smelt rubber, after a few minutes of driving, We did surprisingly well for being ponies, also turns out my vision has actually improved when I became a pony so that's a plus. I told Shadow and Raven to slow down “Does anypony know where Chicago is from here?” I called out to everypony
Suddenly I heard some papers rustling and then Zoran called out “If we keep going straight and then we go right on the next right, we should be in Chicago so about maybe another 10 minutes” He said
“Where did you find a map, and we’re almost to Chicago? I thought we had another hour or two to go, ” I said, surprised Zoran shrugged “you made some good time before the van broke down”
The statement suddenly made me realize that we left all of our stuff in the van, including the credit card “Dang it! We left the credit card in the van now we can’t rent a hotel room,” I said, annoyed
“I think finding one would be more of a problem than paying for it now” Zoran said, pointing a hoof down at the hundreds of cars parked to the side of the road
I sighed “How far is the place the convention is being held at? Maybe we can find a place to park somewhere closeby”
“It’s right over there” Zoran said, pointing to a building that looked like it could fit a few thousand people
“Alright, now does anyone know when the convention actually starts?” I asked
This time it was Courtney who spoke up, “I think it starts at about 4 o’clock ”
I took a right taking us further into the city “4 o'clock today?” I asked I looked at the clock 3:52 “Shoot! We need to hurry or we're going to be late,” I looked up the street and sure enough, it was extremely packed it would take forever to find a place to park
“Alright stop the car, we're parking here, we will walk the rest of the way, ” I said, pulling haphazardly to the side of the road in between two cars and somewhat driving onto the sidewalk (in a way which thinking back on it I believe is highly illegal)
Once the car was parked I leaped through the open window and waited for the others to do the same, Shadow of course, being the only one who has actually flown ‘At least somewhat’ clumsily flew through the window and landed on the sidewalk showing off that she could actually fly,
I rolled my eyes and started galloping towards the convention “Come on!” I shouted to the others behind me taking the lead we received some strange glances from passersby after all we were a group of three pastel colored fillies and a colt running through the city, but we didn’t pay any attention to them, after a minute or two we finally made it to the building I was gasping for breath once we made it, once I caught my breath I pushed open the door using my head.
The room was completely packed, there were thousands of ponies inside it didn’t look like the convention had started yet luckily, only a few ponies glanced over to us, but returned their attention to the stage where it looked like they were about to begin, a sudden motion over to the side caught my attention, somepony was waving her hoof motioning for us to join her where we found 4 open seats and we quietly sat and waited for the convention to begin.
A mare walked onto the stage and tapped on the mic causing a loud static to blare through the speakers seeing that she had everypony’s attention she began “Um, Hello?” She said then cleared her throat “Alright. Now, as we all know, we are turning into our OC’s due to, ahem, our science projects
It was hard to hear from where I was but someone called out, “What do you mean ‘our’, you're not the guy from the blog.”
“Yeah. Despite my OC’s gender, I seem to have become female. As I was saying, we’re still not sure exactly what caused it, but I believe our best bet is to wait until it's passed. As for-” She was cut off by a loud popping noise
“DISCORD?!” She shouted in surprise
Discord then continued to say something, but he was too far away from the mic to be heard and of course the mare had moved away from the mic and since I we were in the back we couldn’t hear what was going on,
all the while Courtney was shouting into my ear “DISCORD! DISCORD! NOTICE ME! DISCORD! SENPAI!” She shouted, waving her hooves trying to get the god of chaos’s attention, she stopped shouting and looked disappointed when another popping sound filled the air and both Discord and the mare that was on stage disappeared, And pretty much everypony panicked as security tried to calm everypony down,
I tapped on my sisters and my best friends back and motioned for them to follow me as we pushed through the panicked crowd trying to leave the building we nearly lost each other but somehow we managed not to and quickly made our way to the car which we managed to get back inside after forcing Katie to help shove us through the open window since after we were all in she could fly... Still showing off, after we were inside and we had calmed down we started talking
“Senpai didn’t notice me” Courtney said frowning
I sighed “Courtney, you could try finding him later when it’s our time, but for now we should rest and find out what we’re going to do tomorrow” I said
“What do you mean ‘when it’s our time?’” Courtney asked confused
“What she means is that we are going to Equestria, think about it Discord came and talked to her, we don’t know what about and then she disappears with Discord I’m betting she is in Equestria right now” Zoran Said
“And once Discord left a map of Equestria appeared on stage” Katie spoke up
“Huh, I didn’t notice that” I said “Alright, anyway, we should probably get some sleep so we can think of a plan tomorrow” I stretched and laid down in the back seat “Goodnight Everypony”
I didn’t get that much sleep as I heard a familiar popping sound and felt my ears grow uncomfortable from the pressure shift I looked around to spot where I was and saw that I was in a familiar dark forest, the everfree forest and looked around and saw them a pack of Five Timber wolves were surrounding me “Oh… this is not good”
They hadn't attacked yet they were currently circling me probably seeing what I would do then find the best moment to attack but they wouldn't stay back forever they would be attacking soon so I better make the first move, I turned around choosing a random direction and took off galloping, after I had managed to get a head start they took off running after me, seeing that they were gaining on me, I took a right into a denser part of the forest and started dodging between trees slowing the timber wolves down ‘Hey! I’m actually really good at this, after this is worked out, maybe I should make an obstacle course or something’ my mind wandered ‘Pay attention Idiot!’ I mentally shouted to myself barely managing to avoid a timber wolf that went flying into a tree to my left shattering into bits of sticks and logs, that was a close one I looked ahead to that the forest was beginning to thin out trees appearing farther apart, I was nearing the edge of the forest that fact giving me renewed strength I ran even harder beginning to count the distance 10ft, 9ft, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4,3, 2 I felt something jump on my back sending me tumbling to ground, I looked behind me and saw a timber wolf nearing me, I knew that I was a goner but then out of nowhere I saw Rainbow Dash flash by slamming into the timber wolf and I heard her shout “Run! I’ll hold them off!” She said as I took off running again, I didn’t stop running until I knew that I was safe and then I laid down on the ground and caught my breath, I looked around, finally realizing where I was.
I was on a path at the base of a hill and I heard somepony talking, but it was faint I walked up the rest of the hill and then saw that I was in ponyville with renewed strength and forgetting my aching body I continued into town looking for my sisters or my best friend “Shadow! Raven! Star!” I shouted, walking through town, then I heard a familiar voice call out “Rose! Over here!” I turned to see Courtney/Raven waving me over “Hey Raven do you know where Shadow and Star is?” I asked
“I don’t know where Star is but Shadow is over there” She said pointing a hoof over across the road where Shadow and another filly were talking to Pinkie Pie
“Oh great and all powerful Pink one will you take us in and show us the ways?” They said talking at the same time “Jinx! Double Jinx! Triple Jinx! Quadruple Jinx!”
“Very well, Do both of you hereby pinkie promise that you to the best of your abilities you will throw any and all ponies a party and spread smiles and cheer everywhere you may go?” Pinkie asked extremely seriously
“Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye- OW!” They repeated following the motions
Pinkie Giggled “Okie Dokie Lokie, Welcome to the legion of the party ponies!”
Both fillies smile grew impossibly large and then they both started jumping and chanting “YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!”
“Hey look they’re doing a Twilight!” somepony in the crowd called out
“Now come my minions to the Party Lair!” Pinkie said before all three of them pulled out mustaches and sneaked into the alleyway before diving head first into a cupcake box disappearing completely
“Oh no,” I said
“There are now three pinkie pies” Courtney continued “Or at least one Pinkie pie and two learning the ways of the pink one”
“Celestia save us all” I said, staring at the box they disappeared into and as an afterthought, I added “Twilight is going to have another mental breakdown when she hears about this”
“Oh, it's fluttershy!” Courtney suddenly called out “I'm going to go talk to her, maybe she even knows where Discord is!”
“Wait Courtney where are we going to mee-” I sighed as Courtney was nowhere in sight “meet up at”
“Oh hey! there you are, I've been looking for you are you alright?” Rainbow Dash said flying over
“Oh hey Rainbow Dash, yeah I'm fine” I said
“Alright, what were you doing in the evergreen forest anyway that place is dangerous to go” she asked
I shrugged “I was just teleported there” I said
“Oh, so you're one of those ponies Twilight was talking about?” Rainbow Dash asked she looked around for a moment “I would give you a tour of ponyville but I'm sort-of busy right now, Twilight will probably find you later today, I'm sure somepony will be willing to show you around town, well I have to go bye-” she stopped “oh what's your name kid?”
“my name is Amethyst Rose but you can call me Rose for short, bye Rainbow” I said
“Bye Rose catch you later” She said before taking off
Not knowing what else to do I decided to wander around town a bit, the town is huge compared to what you see in the show I was walking around looking at the sights when I heard hoofsteps and excited voices talking I couldn't place who they belonged too in until they walked around the corner and we nearly walked into each other
“Oh sorry- hey! I haven't seen you around here before” a certain white unicorn filly said
Apple Bloom gave her a look
“Oh! My name is Sweetie Belle” she said
“my name is Scootaloo”
“and ah’m Apple Bloom” Knowing what was next I mentally prepared myself
“And we're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!” all three of them shouted together
“We work together to find our special talents and earn our cutie marks” Sweetie Belle said
“Hey you're a blank flank too!” Scootaloo says excitedly, Apple Bloom nudges Scootaloo “Oh Uh sorry” Scootaloo said realizing her mistake
“It”s alright, my name is Amethyst Rose but you can call me Rose for short I said
“Well nice ta meet ya!” Applebloom said “ah haven't seen ya around before did ya family just move here?”
“It's kinda difficult to explain but yeah I guess you could say we just moved here I have two sisters who are off somewhere else right now” I said
“hey would you like to join our group?” Scootaloo asked
“Of course” I said grinning
“Well we won't be able to get you initiated until tomorrow since it's getting late and hey have you been shown around Ponyville yet?” Sweetie Belle asked
I shook my head “no Rainbow Dash said she would have but she was busy with something” I said
“Huh I wonder what she could be busy with today” Scootaloo said
“Maybe we could show ya around ponyville, is that alright with y’all girls?” Apple Bloom asked “Maybe we could even earn our Cutie marks as Tour guides!”
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS TOUR GUIDES!” All three of them shouted, I covered my still recently new more sensitive ears with my hooves not prepared for how loud they were in person- or pony I should say
“Ok where should we show her around first?” Sweetie Belle asked
“Hm maybe we could show her around rainbow dash’s house?” Scootaloo suggested
“Nah Rainbow Dash is busy” Sweetie Belle said
At that moment my stomach growled “I forgot to get anything to eat” I said blushing
They giggled “Well ah know where we're going first” Apple Bloom said “Sugar cube corner is just down the road from here”
During the short trip to Sugar Cube Corner I noticed something was off ponyville was oddly deserted once when arrived we walked in and I noticed that all the lights were off and then I realized why there was nopony outside
“SURPRISE!” Everypony shouted the lights turning on and streamers being fired into the air from hidden party cannons, I looked up and saw a banner that read ‘Welcome to Ponyville/Equestria/Our Universe Party!’
I walked around with the biggest smile I have ever had in a long time the crusaders and I talked for awhile before they went off somewhere so I walked over to the refreshments table and I carefully grabbed a cup of juice in my hooves and began drinking it when a certain pink pony jumped out from under the table “Hey Rose! You seem a lot happier now in equestria as a filly than when you were a colt and I am so glad that you are so happy because then you would be sad and then I would be sad too because nopony should have to be sad, Ooh are you enjoying the party I didn’t know if I should have both a chocolate and vanilla cake or have one cake with both but then I decided to have both because then there would be more cake” Pinkie Pie said excitedly
“Hey Pinkie! Yeah I’m having the best day in a long time i’ve had in a long time and-” I paused mid sentence noticing what she just said “Wait how did you kno-” I stopped and took a deep breath and rubbed my head and muttered to myself “It’s only pinkie being pinkie pie, It’s only pinkie being pinkie pie”
Pinkie Giggled at me “Ooh! Ooh! I almost forgot come on Rose it’s time for the most Super Duper important part of a party!”
I looked at her confused “and what is that?” I asked her
“Well the Party Games of course you silly filly” Pinkie Pie said leading me over to where other ponies were gathering for the games “I looked over to my left and recognized the five ponies over there instantly
“Everypony this is Rose and Rose this is Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight and Rainbow Dash” Pinkie said introducing me to them
“Hello, It’s nice to meet you all in pony” I said
They looked confused and I realized what i said “What do you mean? You already knew about us?” Twilight started asking questions
I took a moment to think of what to say “Well, I assume you already know about me not being from this universe by what Rainbow said, is that right?” I asked
Twilight nodded “Well in my world there is a show about you six it only shows days when you write a friendship report” I said Thankfully she wasn’t too creeped out by this, unfortunately she did start writing notes and I knew she would be asking me a lot of questions about my world when she gets the chance
“Hm” Twilight mumbled “It seems like our universes our connected in some way and you seem to be able to pick up on the connection in your universe and use it to see into our universe, but only on the days I write a friendship report?” She asked, I nodded in response “Interesting”
“Hey Twilight” I said she looked up from taking notes “Maybe we should enjoy the party and you could take notes later?” I asked
“Oh, yeah” She said embarrassed “Oh, Rose I almost forgot I have this for you” She said levitating a present out of her saddlebag and gave it to me
I quickly unwrapped it excited by what it could be, out of the wrapping paper I pulled out a hardcover book and Rainbow Dash Started laughing “You got her a book?” She asked still laughing
“It’s not just any book it’s a diary she could write her thoughts and the adventures she goes on, and what's wrong with books?” Twilight asked, Rainbow dash rolled her eyes “Twilight, you get everypony a book”
“I like it, Thank you Twilight” I said cutting off their arguing
*Some Hours Later*
The party went on late into the night and when the party ended I could barely keep my eyes open, Twilight walked up to me “Hey Rose it’s time for you to get to bed, you’ll be staying at my place, and your sisters are already back at the castle” She said
I mumbled an incoherent reply too tired to reply I took and almost falling felt something surrounding me and lift myself onto twilight's back, I yawned and snuggled deeper into the soft fur and drifted off to sleep.
I groaned as once again the sun decides it was going to try and blind me as I woke up, I cast a quick glare out the window and stretched, avoiding the edge of the bed to keep from having a complete repeat of yesterday and another meeting with the floor.
I looked around the room that I found myself in and recognized the design of the room as one from Twilights castle more than likely one of the many guest bedrooms within the castle, there was a desk with a small lamp in the corner of the room and a small table next to the bed.
I took a step towards the edge of the bed and carefully jumped on all hooves to the carpeted floor, I took a step towards the door, relieved to see that it was the kind with the lever and that it was low down enough for me to reach, I pulled the handle down and let the door creak open.
Looking both ways I saw that to the left lead down a long hallway with other rooms on either side and the right lead to a left turn probably into the main room, Not wanting to get lost by going farther into the castle I took a right and was relieved that after some walking found myself in the map room where Twilight was sleeping with her head in a book.
When I was coming to the table I called out calmly “Hey Twilight” she must have been having a weird dream because her head snapped out of her book and she suddenly called out “The answer is (5S/4+25) * T=X”
I just stared at her confused and she looked embarrassed “Did I say that out loud?” She asked
I nodded my head “Oh, Well, anyway I guess you are probably hungry, I’ll go make something for us to eat does Daffodil Sandwiches sound OK?” I was about answer but was cut off by a loud crashing sound coming from down the hallway as Shadow came flying in the room and she smashed into the pile of books Twilight has stacked next to the table, causing them to go tumbling down, Twilight sighed as she began levitating the books back into a pile then Raven came walking into the room rubbing her eyes with a hoof obviously less than awake almost sleepwalking and said “I want Pancakes”
“Alright, Well, I will go make us breakfast since it looks like everypony is awake” Twilight said
“Don’t worry about it Twilight I’m already on it!” Spike called out from the kitchen
A few moments later, Spike came out of the kitchen somehow carrying the five plates of pancakes
“Thanks Spike” Twilight said and levitated the plates of pancakes from Spike and set the table
Everypony took a seat and then Shadow did a Pinkie and took a huge bite out of the bottom pancakes and Twilight just sat there her eye twitching and Raven Continued eating tiredly
“Oh, um, Twilight I forgot to tell you Pinkie took on two apprentices Shadow and some other filly…” I said cautiously to Twilight “to teach them the ways of the party ponies”
After a while Twilight managed to calm down, although her eye still twitched seeing Shadow eat her pancakes, once it was obvious that Twilight wasn’t going to have a full freak out about the illogicalness of it all Spike asked twilight a question “So, Who are these fillies?” He asked
“Oh, I forgot to tell you, sorry, Spike, this Amethyst Rose, Shadow Heart, and Raven Shade, they will be staying here for the time being” Twilight explained Everyone finished with their breakfast Twilight teleported the empty dishes away “I will be busy today supervising a few projects so I won’t be around for the rest of today” Twilight said
“Alright, I’ll go hang out with derpy today” Shadow said happily running from the room before anyone could say anything “And I will go around ponyville again and see if I can find Discord, he has to be around here somewhere” Raven said Twilight frowned slightly at that not too keen on the idea of her talking with Discord but didn’t argue
“I don’t know what I will do today, but I’m sure I’ll find something to do maybe I’ll go crusading with the crusaders” I said, but before twilight took off I added “and thank you Twilight for letting us stay here”
Twilight seemed taken back by what I said for a moment “It’s fine, you didn’t have anypony to look after you and I wasn’t just going to leave you alone” She said “And besides there is plenty of room in the castle”
Slightly awkwardly I gave Twilight a hug “Bye Twilight, see you later!” I said making my way to the door, Chucking twilight said “Bye Rose!”
I made my way through the town looking for the Cutie Mark Crusaders or somepony to talk to when I arrived at the town park I thought I heard somepony shouting my name and something that somewhat sounded like a warning when I felt somepony slam into me once I stopped seeing stars I recognized the pony as a Pegasus that I knew really well “STAR!” I shouted excitedly getting back up “Where have you been?”
“What do you mean where have I been? When I woke up everypony was gone,” he said
“Oh, so we must have been teleported earlier than you,” I said “So where did you end up?”
He pointed a hoof at where he came crashing into me from “when I ended up in Equestria I was in the air ” he said
I thought about it for a moment before saying anything “Eh Still better than where I ended up at” I said chuckling slightly
“And where did you end up at?” He asked
“In the Everfree Forest” I said “I was then chased through said forest by a pack of Timber Wolves until Rainbow Dash saved me” I said
Star started laughing, then through his laughter, he said “Oh wow that is some bad luck” He paused to catch his breath from laughing
“Hey Rose!” Scootaloo Said “Who is this?”
“Hey Girls!” I said “This is my best friend Lightning star. Star, this is the Cutie Mark Crusaders Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle” I said
“Well, nice to meet you Star” Apple Bloom said
Then suddenly there was a loud crash from behind us as Shadow crash landed into the ground her head stuck in the dirt
“I’ll go make sure she’s alright” Star said Rolling his eyes laughing while making his way over to my sister who was still trying to get free from the ground
Giggling Sweetie Belle asked “is he you’re special somepony?”
Blushing furiously I said “No! He’s just a friend he is like a Brother to me” Pausing, I added trying to change the topic “Well, I have to go make sure my sister is alright, I will meet up with you three either sometime later today, or I will try to find you tomorrow” I said galloping over to my sister to make sure she was alright
“Are you alright Katie?” I asked her
“Yeah I’m fine, I’m just going ostrich style today” she said, her voice muffled by the ground
“Alright Star, help me get her unstuck you grab and pull her hooves and I will try to dig some of the dirt away” I said
As Amethyst Rose walked away Sweetie Belle turned towards Scootaloo and Apple Bloom
“I know we already tried to get our cutie marks this way, but want to give it another go?” Sweetie Belle asked
Scootaloo groaned “Ugh, I still don’t get what's so special about ‘love’” she said fake gagging at the last part “oh come on Scootaloo” Apple Bloom said
Scootaloo sighed “Alright”
“Cutie Mark Crusaders Match Makers, Attempt #2!” They shouted and walked back to the Treehouse to come up with a plan
And somewhere nearby a certain draconequus chuckled “this should be interesting”
Warning:this chapter officially breaks the law of physics and logic itself and Twilight if you're reading this DON'T PANIC! (Then again, that’s nearly all the time, Continue on)
I looked around suddenly aware that I wasn’t with Star and Shadow anymore and creepy fog was covering the ground and the sky was a patchwork of day and night and the moon was made of…. Was that Cheese? I continued walking through ponyville seeing more strange things such as floating buildings and patches of purple stuff like what you would see in gmod if you had the incorrect texture pack…. Just like in that episode with Discord….. I mentally face hoofed at the fact it took me this long to figure it out. “Discord?” I called out “Well, it took you long enough to figure it out” his voice called out, he teleported in front of me with a ‘popping’ sound “I figured this scenery would tip you off given that you have that show where you came from” he said sounding bored “What were you talking to that mare about before you teleported her away?” I asked curious “What mare could you possibly be talking about?” Discord asked “and wouldn’t it be rude to tell you about a private conversation?” Discord Said crossing his arms I rolled my eyes, “I saw you on stage and then you both disappeared” I said annoyed “And how come you think it was me?” He asked smugly “Because I saw you and she said Discord into the microphone ” I said no longer completely sure “Fine, you got me, it was ‘A’ Discord, but it wasn’t me” He said holding up his arms in a sign of surrender. I sighed “What are you talking about?” I asked confused “Alternate dimensions ” he said juggling still powered light bulbs I tried to think of something to say, but suddenly I couldn’t think of anything “Oh, you may need this” Discord said, unscrewing the top of my head like a lid than sticking a light bulb in then screwed the top of my head back on
I glared at him “so what you’re saying is that another Discord took her to his own dimension and that everyone that turned into ponies are being sent to different Equestrian dimensions?” I Asked hearing a crowd applause somewhere “Correct, now that we have all that boring stuff out of the way,” he said a file labeled ‘Boring Stuff” appearing in his claw and then he threw it behind his back Before he could say anything else suddenly a bright light came from the moon and the chaotic scenery disappeared and I could hear Luna “Discord! Leave this filly to her dreams” She said from somewhere Then Discord said “Well, I must be off,” he said before he disappeared and then everything faded to black.
I sat up in my bed than muttered “Well, that was a strange dream… Well, what I could remember anyway”
I looked around then became confused “I don’t remember going to sleep…”
I looked out the window and noticed that it was early, the moon was still in the sky, making its way below the horizon to make way for the day, But being wide awake I decided to write in the Diary Twilight gave me. And that is where I am now, writing in my diary about the events leading up to today, I’ve not been caught up quite yet, but not wanting to ruin the timeline of events I have held off writing it yet During the time I was writing about the part with discord suddenly Someone began talking right behind me “Oh, Now it’s getting to the good part” Discord said, causing me to fall out of the chair I glared at Discord who was holding a bag of popcorn eating “Discord! Stop reading my Diary it’s private!” I shouted at him “Oh is it?” He said, sounding shocked “Then what am I going to do with all these copies I was going to start selling to other ponies?” Discord asked, snapping his talons and about a couple dozen exact copies of my diary appeared above my head burying me under them. I took a deep breath to try and calm down “Discord, what are you doing here?” I asked “I was making sure you weren't making me sound fat” Discord said while I just continued to stare at him “What don’t you trust me? I’m hurt that you would think I would lie to you” Discord said, pausing to see if I would say anything, but I just continued to stand there tapping my hoof on the floor waiting “Fine, I wanted to find out more about this world you came from and I like reading others personal thoughts, you happy now?” Discord asked “And besides Princess ‘Moonbutt’ cut our chat short so I thought we could bond over your personal thoughts” he said I sighed “Stop calling Princess Luna, Princess ‘Moonbutt’ It’s rude!”
He shrugged “she doesn’t seem to mind, If she wanted me to stop calling her that she would have said something,” He said with a screen appeared above his head and began playing a montage of all the times princess Luna told him to stop calling her that, he just waved his claw above his head at it and it disappeared. I sighed “How did I get here anyway?” I asked “all I remember was I was with my sister and my friend and then I was talking to you and then I woke up here”
He shook his head “Now why would I do that and ruin the mystery? And besides, it’s not like you were really using those hours for anything” Discord said I kept thinking through what could have happened when Discord interrupted my thoughts
“If you keep thinking so hard your heads going to catch on fire” He said, holding a stick with a marshmallow above my head and I smelled smoke, I sprinted over to the mirror in the corner and saw that the my mane was on fire and sprinted out of the room panicking trying to find the bathroom to put out the fire, I didn’t find a bathroom but I did run into twilight “Twilight! Help!” I shouted as I ran over to her She quickly cast a spell and the flames went out “What's going on?” She asked pointing at my still smoking mane I pointed a hoof down the hallway glaring as discord came floating in with a camera “Discord!?” Twilight said surprised “What are you doing here and why did you set Rose’s mane on fire?”
“Don’t worry so much Twilight, we were only having some quality bonding time, See?” He said, pointing at the pictures he took of me when my mane was on fire “I was taking pictures”
Twilight glared at him “By lighting her mane on fire?!” Twilight said “She could have been hurt” Snapping his talons, my mane was no longer burned, he then put his arm across his forehead “Oh, I'm so sorry, how could you ever forgive me?” He said melodramatically I rolled my eyes at him for being so melodramatic “Oh, I know!” He said excited “How about I hang out with two of my favorite pony friends?” He finished pulling Twilight and I into an awkward hug that I wiggled my way free of. I slowly made my way to the door “Oh, um, as fun as that sounds I promised the Crusaders already that I would meet up with them” I said, giving him the most sincere, apologetic smile I could come up with “Don’t mind me though, continue with your um, whatever it is,” I added then when Discord turned away I mouthed sorry to her and quickly exited before discord made my head pop off or something else, but before I closed the door I shouted inside to Discord.. Which probably wasn’t the best idea but I was still worried he would publish my Diary “Discord! If you publish ANY of those copies of my diary I will hunt you down and find a way to turn you back to stone even without the elements of harmony!” I threatened to him, I then closed the door and quickly left making my way to sweet apple acres to find the Cutie Mark Crusaders before Discord could try anything… although quickly was not quick enough as suddenly I felt something attach itself to my back and heard the hiss of a fuse being lit, worriedly expecting the worse I saw a large red rocket attached to me with a harness that didn’t have anyway to remove it, knowing it was no good I looked away “Dangit Discord!” I said under my breath before I felt the rocket fire as I was launched through the sky.
Once the rocket went out, thankfully I didn’t have a too painful landing as the straps of the harness got stuck on one of the branches of an apple tree not too far from the Crusaders Treehouse “At least it didn’t take me in the wrong direction away from Sweet apple acres” I said Relieved it was about 20 or so minutes before I heard somepony walking towards where I was.
“What in tarnation is going on over here?!” Applejack walking over to me followed by the Cutie Mark Crusaders “What do you think you’re doing attached to a rocket?!” She said eyeing me hanging from the branch
“It wasn’t my idea Applejack, I was coming over here when Discord had this rocket appear and the straps don’t have any release buttons or anything so…” I said, trailing off slightly, feeling dizzy from being upside down for so long “a little help here?”
It took only a minute before Applejack snapped all the straps keeping me trapped and as soon as I was free the rocket disappeared
“Well Ah’m goin’ to talk to Discord about this” Applejack said, walking away when Scootaloo thought Applejack was gone, she turned to us “I saw you when you came down, That was awesome! We should try to get our Cutie marks doing that!” Scootaloo said sounding excited
“No rockets you four!” Applejack called back
“Aw” Scootaloo said, disappointed “Oh well, there is still a ton of things we could try to get our Cutie marks in!”
“Don’t forget we still need to get Rose initiated” Sweetie Belle spoke up
“Oh, right” Scootaloo said “Well, come on then!”
Once we were inside Sweetie Belle stood behind the stand and began reading from a piece of paper that was there
“We, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, elect Amethyst Rose to join as a sister, friend, ally, bossom buddy, gal pal, compadre, chum of chums” Sweetie Belle took a deep breath “Scootaloo, I thought you were going to revise this?” She said
“Well, I was but… I forgot” Scootaloo said
Sweetie Belle Sighed then continued “Homegirl, Amiga….. And fellow Cutie Mark Crusader! You are solemly sworn in this day, witnessed by your fellow Sister, Friends, Ally, Bossom, Buddy, Gal, Pal...
“Congratulations Rose! You are now a member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders!” Scootaloo said then muttered quickly “I really need to write a note or something to revise that”
“Alright, So Rose since you are a new member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders you may choose something we do to try and earn our Cutie Marks” Applebloom said
I thought about it “How about karaoke?” I asked Scootaloo shook her head “Nope, already did that” I thought some more than said “Alright how about…. “ I winced slightly I’m probably going to regret saying this “How about…. Making Catapults?” I asked hesitantly
"Yes!" Scootaloo shouted excitedly
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS CATAPULT MAKERS! YAY!” We all shouted, then I was laughing afterwards glad that I was friends with them and excited for all the adventures I was bound to have with my new found friends.
“So…. How do we make a catapult?” Applebloom asked
I shrugged my shoulders “I don’t know…. Although I heard Twilight mention that Luna will be visiting and if anypony would know how to make a catapult it would be her…. That is if we don’t get in trouble for saying we are building a catapult..”
Scootaloo shrugged “Sounds like a plan, we won’t be getting far anyway if we don’t know the basics of building a catapult”
“Alright, so, When will Luna be here?” Sweetie Belle Asked
“I think she should be at Twilight’s castle right now… Although we might not want Twilight to hear about us building a catapult though”
They nodded “looks like it’s time for plan N” Sweetie Belle said
“Plan N?” I asked
“Plan Ninja, I wonder if we can get our Cutie Marks as Ninja’s or would it be spies?” Sweetie Belle asked
“Is this really necessary?” I asked from behind the bushes with everypony else in Black camouflage clothes with black face paint as Sweetie Belle had a pair of binoculars looking for anypony that might spot us
“Shh! Quiet I see Pinkie Pie” Sweetie Belle said
“Don’t say her name! Names have power! We don’t want anypony to find us” I said now worried that she would show up
“Don’t worry, she will be at a party she won’t be here much longer” Scootaloo said
I stared at them “Are you trying to get her to find us? We have to stay hidden”
“Ooh Who are we hiding from!” someone shouted in a whisper and I nearly jumped from the bushes and had a heart attack
“Pinkie!” I Gasped “What are you doing here?”
“Well, you four were calling my name silly fillies” Pinkie said
“Pinkie please don’t tell anypony we are here alright” I said
“Okie Dokie Lokie! Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye!” Pinkie Said Doing the motions to the Pinkie Promise
“Thanks Pinkie” I said
“Well, I must go my party is calling me! Also, you're clear to sneak into the castle no pony is around” Pinkie said bouncing away
“Alright girls, let’s go!” Applebloom said, sneaking out of the bushes
When we reached the nearest window Scootaloo motioned for us to lift her up higher to reach the window, Once she was close enough to the window she slipped a feather in between the lock and with a click the window opened and Scootaloo began quietly pulling us up and we slipped over the edge into the room and once everypony was inside I silently walked over to the door and peeked out into the hallway, I leaned my ear against the door trying to listen for hoofsteps or anything else when I picked up the faint voices of Twilight, Celestia and Luna’s Voices echoing down the hallway.
After staying there for a few minutes I suddenly heard loud hoofsteps coming down the hallway when I suddenly spotted the pony we wanted to speak with and we slipped out of the room into the hallway to talk with Luna
When she saw us she gave us a questioning look, “Why hast thou snuck into Twilight’s Castle?” Luna asked
Nervously, I took a breath and began talking “Princess Luna, we were hoping that you could tell us how to build a catapult so we could try to get our Cutie Marks in Making Catapults” I said
Luna Chuckled “We remember when we built our first catapult” She paused and took another look at me then asked “What is thy name? We know your friends names, but not your name”
“My name is Amethyst Rose” I said
Luna glanced behind her for a moment before saying “I will help thee with your catapult, but don’t tell my sister about this,” Luna said levitating over some paper and a quill and began writing instructions until we began hearing voices approaching and Luna spoke again quiet enough not to echo down the hallway “One last thing when you fire the catapult fire it away from ponyville” Luna explained
“Thank you Luna!” We said quietly and slipped back into the room we came in from and quickly climbed out the window and ran off laughing to ourselves, Once we were back at the tree house
We quickly took off our ninja/spy clothes
“Did we get our Cutie Marks?!” Applebloom asked excitedly looking at her flank, getting us to do the same to disappointingly discover that we still did not have our Cutie Marks
“Well, we could still get our Cutie Marks in Building Catapults, trying to get our Cutie Marks as spies/Ninja’s was just extra” Scootaloo said cheering us up “Now who has the instructions Princess Luna gave us! I’m excited to start building this!” Scootaloo added excitedly
“I have them” Sweetie Belle said, laying the papers out on the table for us all to look at
Scootaloo spoke up, “I don’t suppose any of you would know what she wrote would you?”
We all shrugged "I have never been good at reading cursive, sorry" I said
Then Sweetie Belle pointed something out “She didn’t just write down instructions she drew some pictures as well, we could follow along using the pictures”
“Well, we won’t have enough time to build it today, it’s getting late and we have school in the morning” Applebloom said
“Yeah, you’re right, I should probably get home before Twilight starts worrying about me” I said
“You want me to give you a ride there?” Scootaloo asked
“Yeah, thanks Scootaloo” I replied
We said our goodbyes and Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and I left the tree house to where Scootaloo parked her Scooter.
*A Few Minutes Later*
It only took a few minutes before we were at the castle, I was the first to be dropped off because where I needed to go was closest to sweet apple acres, so I said goodbye to my friends and went inside to see what was going on, When I walked inside I was greeted by Celestia and Luna while Twilight was nowhere to be seen.
“Hello My Little Pony” Celestia said kindly
Just then Twilight came back into the room “I found the book about-” She paused as she saw that I was home and looked as if she just remembered something “Oh, I’m sorry I forgot to mention that Amethyst Rose and her sisters have been staying with me in the castle since they came to Equestria, it’s just that lately things seem to have been coming up that it just completely slipped my mind and-”
“It’s quite alright Twilight” Celestia said then turned to me “Hello Amethyst Rose, I am Princess Celestia and that is my sister, Princess Luna” Celestia said pointing a hoof in the direction of the Princess of the moon
I gave a small bow and said “It’s a pleasure to actually meet you two in person”
“There is no need to bow Rose” Celestia said, smiling slightly at me “Come have a seat, do you want some tea?” She asked
I made my way to the table and sat down nervously seeing that everypony was looking at me.
“Y-Yes Please, ” I said stuttering slightly
Celestia finished filling a cup of tea and levitated it over to me and I slowly grabbed in my hooves and took a sip before setting it back into the table
“Twilight, when did thou meet Rose?” Luna asked curiously
“It was about a week ago after a few days after the magical backlashes and the first ponies began showing up in Equestria, I told my friends if they saw any new ponies
Show up randomly to let me know so I could organize and find them a place to stay” Twilight took a sip of her tea and continued “It was working up until Rainbow Dash told me that three fillies showed up but no adults showed up that could watch them since I make sure that there is an adult to watch over any fillies and colts that show up, but since there was no adults that showed up and I don’t want to split up Siblings I started cleaning some of the rooms so that Rose and her sisters would have somewhere to sleep, But I don’t mind them staying here it gets kind of lonely here with only Spike, Owlicious and myself here.” Twilight finished
“It was Great to talk with you Twilight and it was nice to meet you
Rose, but my sister and I must head back to Canterlot”
“Goodbye Celestia and Luna” Twilight said as Celestia and Luna left the room.
During Dinner is when Twilight decided to give us the News
“Alright, Girls I have some News tonight, Tomorrow you will be starting school, I already have all your school supplies packed for tomorrow” Twilight said
“Nuuuu!” Raven Complained looking up from her Ponime Manga “then I won’t have as much time to read my Ponime”
Twilight Smiled and rolled her eyes “The teacher, Miss Cheerilee is really nice and you can still read Ponime later”
“PONIME EQUALS LIFE!!!!!!” Shadow Screamed then fell to the floor laughing
We stared at Shadow rolling on the floor for a moment before I spoke up Facehoofing “You are so weird”
I was about to head upstairs to get some extra sleep before my first day at school but stopped when I remembered something I was going to ask Twilight “Oh and Twilight, Could you maybe um help me learn how to use my magic?” I asked Twilight
Twilight smiled “Of course Rose, How about we have Lessons Every other day after you get home from school starting tomorrow, is that alright with you?” Twilight asked
“Sounds like a plan” I said tiredly heading to my room.
*Early in the morning*
“I groaned slightly as I woke up and glanced at the window and could see the sun rising over the horizon, I was content just laying in bed for a few minutes calmly waking up….. I was… until Somepony decided to continue with her wake up calls.
“Rose Wake Up!” I heard Shadow Screamed as I felt her jump on me, causing me to fall off on the other side of the bed “Rose are you awake?” Shadow asked looking down at me from my bed
“Ugh” I groaned “No, I’m dead” I replied sarcastically
“No Rose don’t die” She said, shaking me
I rolled my eyes “Alright stop I’m getting up,” I said, getting back on my hooves
“Ok,” she said before… was she bouncing like Pinkie Pie? I shook my head nah I'm probably just tired
I walked over to the stand next to my bed and grabbed my two bows and made my way out the door “Alright, was the bathroom down the left or the right?” I said aloud, trying to remember the layout of the castle.
I groaned “I'll try the right first and hope it's down that way,” I said taking a right “I Really need to ask Twilight for a map”
thankfully, it was down that way so it didn't take too long to find it
I looked at my mane and saw it was matted on the side, I slept on and sticking up on the other I sighed “I still get horrible bed head even as a pony”
I looked around and spotted a brush and looked at it and frowned “I've been here for at least 2 days and I haven't learned to use a brush yet the first time Twilight helped and the second my mane was burned by discord… and both were done with magic… which I don't know how to use yet… great”
I first tried to use my mouth to pick it up and brush my mane, you can probably figure that failed, then I picked it up with both of my front hooves… then slipped and fell… and then I face hooved as I had a light bulb moment… not literally, thankfully, because that would mean Discord and I don't think my sanity can deal with him right now… Remembering that ponies can pick up objects in their hooves I grabbed the brush in my right front hoof and began brushing my mane…
Although I gave up with putting the bows in my mane since I have no clue how to tie knots with hooves, so instead I decided to ask Twilight…. Who was currently checking, rechecking and Triple checking our saddle bags to make sure we had everything… but me wanting to eat breakfast first before (Probably) getting stuck listening to Twilight go over a list of something, I silently went into the kitchen to find spike getting cereal
“Hey Spike!” I said
“Oh, hi Rose, I didn't hear you come in,” he said
“yeah, I'm trying to avoid Twilight just until I finish breakfast” I said
Spike looked at me confused “Why are you avoiding Twilight?”
“Well, figuring it's our first of school, I'm sure she will be going over a list of something I just don't know of what” I replied
“Yeah, that does sound like something Twilight would do” Spike said Chuckling
I giggled “Yeah, so Uh Spike, could you um get me a bowl of cereal.. I am still getting used to having hooves and I haven't tried using my magic yet”
“Sure thing what kind of cereal do you want?” Spike asked
“Is there any Uh…” I thought “Is there any Cocoa Puffs?” I asked
“Ok” Spike said as he pulled out a box of Cocoa Puffs from a cupboard and began pouring some into a bowl for me and once he finished pouring me a bowl of cereal he placed on the table in the main room
“Thanks Spike” I said and trotted over to the table and used my forehooves to pull myself onto the chair and began eating my breakfast.
*10 minutes later*
“Hey Twilight? Can you help me put Ponytails in my mane?” I asked giving the Bow’s to Twilight
“Alright Rose, Hold still this won't take long” She said as I felt the Bow’s being levitated with Twilight's magic and tie my mane back in two ponytails
Smiling, I said “Thank you Twilight”
“Could You get your sisters, since this is your first day of schoo,l I think that you should go together a few minutes early so you can get everything ready before class starts and your Saddlebags are over by the door” Twilight said
“OK Twilight” I said, trotting down the hallway towards my sister's rooms
“Shadow! Raven! It's time to go to school!” I shouted
“Coming!” I heard Shadow shout then I heard the sound of flapping wings and I began to get a bad feeling as I saw Shadow flying down the hallway right at me, then right before she flew into me I jumped out of the way, then a moment later I heard a loud crash and falling books and her shouting in frustration “Oh come on!”
I rolled my eyes, “It’s your own fault, you tried to crash into me!” I shouted at Shadow
“But I want to!” Katie complained I rolled my eyes again and turned my head as Raven opened her door and trotted into the hallway
“Hey Raven!” I said
“Yes? Sorry I was thinking about Senpai” Raven replied, still in a daze
“Do you mean Discord?” I asked confused
“Yeppers! I hope he can train me one day!” She said with an evil grin
“Uh, that will never happen” I said
“Yes, it will! Believe it!” She said, punching the air with her hoof, before losing her balance and face planting into floor
“.....” I stared at her with a blank expression
“Ow…” she moaned
“.......” I continued to stare at her with a blank expression as she was still on the floor with her

“Alright, Raven come on get off the floor now, we have to go to school” I said watching Raven still lying on the floor
“Fine, Maybe I will spot Senpai on the way to school!” She Said excitedly finally getting off the floor
I shook my head “I don’t think you will spot Discord on the way” I said
“Just watch and see one day Senpai will notice me and will train me” Raven said, bouncing on her hooves almost Pinkie like with excitement
I giggled at how she was acting “Well, if that happens just don’t take after how Discord was in his before semi-reformed ways or you could end up having a stone statue of your very own” I said teasing her
“I won't! But I think it would be kinda cool like to have a statue of me!~” She said
I face hoofed “You do know that you would be the statue right?” I asked
“So?” Raven asked
I sighed “Let’s just go we don’t want to be late to school on our first day!” I said taking the lead
“I already told you Shadow, we are not lost the school building is just down this road I remember it from one of the Cutie Mark Crusader Episodes” I said for about the hundredth time
“I can fly and I saw where it is at it's just over that way” Shadow said flying above us pointing a hoof in the direction where there was no road and it would difficult to go through without flying
“You can fly we can't,” I paused “Well, I can't anyways, I'm not sure if Raven knows how to fly or not yet”
“Uh, I haven't tried to fly yet” Raven said, looking at the ground
After walking along the path I finally spotted where we were going “See? I told you I know where we were going” I said, pointing a hoof at the school “I just hope we're not late since we had to ask around for directions”
*We actually made it on time… Early…*
As we entered the classroom, Miss Cheerilee looked up from her desk and smiled at us “Hello there you must be my new students I'm Miss Cheerilee” she paused and looked up at a clock on the wall and looked back to us “I can understand that you're probably excited for your first day of school, but don't you think you're here a little early?”
We looked at her confused “What do you mean? What time Does class start?” I asked
“Well, it's currently 6am and class starts at 6:45am so you still have another 45 minutes minutes until class starts” Miss Cheerilee said
I felt my eye slightly twitch as I spoke with disbelief “Twilight woke us up at nearly 5am? And had us leave about an hour before school starts? When the walk is only 15 minutes when you know where to go?” I complained (It only took us 10 extra minutes so you know)
“Well since you're here already you can go choose any desk that doesn't have a name tag attached to it and put your stuff away, then you can go play outside until class begins” Miss Cheerilee said
We nodded “Ok Miss Cheerilee” I walked around the room looking at who sat at each desk until I finally spotted where Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle’s desks were
I quickly walked over to the empty desk behind Scootaloo and to the right of Sweetie Belle, I then began pulling out my books, notebooks and pencils and storing them in my desk and not wanting to continue wearing my saddlebags while I'm playing outside I set it down next to my desk and quickly walked over to the door to meet my sisters outside.
I was currently running away from Shadow with Raven playing tag when I began hearing more hoofsteps and talking
“Raven! Rose! Come on! I think class is going to start soon!” Shadow shouted from behind us
“Oh, OK let's go in that case,” I said stopping
I suddenly felt a hoof tap me as I heard Shadow say “Tag! You're it!”
I gave her glare as she ran towards the door “That's not fair! We stopped the game already!” I said chasing Shadow back to the classroom
“Oh, hello again” Miss Cheerilee said as we came in “Could you just wait over there until class starts?”
She waited a few minutes as a few more ponies walked in and took a seat
“Hello class, before we get started We have some new students joining us today” Miss Cheerilee looked over at us and I could see her just slightly frown and say under her breath “There should be one more student joining us today”
Shaking her head slightly, she spoke up loud enough for everyone to hear “Could you introduce yourselves to the class?”
Looking at everypony in the classroom, I gulped and took a small step forward “H-hi my name is Amethyst Rose, but I normally just go by Rose for short” I said then started walking over to my desk.
I must have spaced out as my sisters introduced themselves, but I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the door to the classroom quickly open and somepony I knew for so long came rushing into the classroom
“Sorry I was late, I got lost on the way here” Star apologized
Miss Cheerilee nodded “Alright Lightning Star you can choose any of the desks that are empty” Miss Cheerilee said before continuing with the lesson
As she began writing on the board, I realized that I forgot to see if I could read Equestrian as well as speak it… Yeah, I know I live with Princess Twilight Aka Ponyville's Librarian, anyway, it turns out I can both speak and Read Equestrian I will have to ask Twilight why that is
“For today's lesson we will be learning about how the first Hearth’s Warming Day came to be so please take out a notebook and a pencil to take notes” Miss Cheerilee said
I grabbed my notebook that was already labeled history and I picked up a pencil in my mouth ready to take notes secretly glad that I write a Diary so I had practice with my... hoof writing? Is it hoof writing even though ponies use their mouths or magic to write with? Anyway, I was pretty confident with my hoof writing.
“So before we begin does anypony know what’s special about Hearth’s Warming Day?” Miss Cheerilee asked
Remembering that one episode where they did a Hearth’s Warming a play I decided to try and answer and raised a hoof “Yes Rose?” Miss Cheerilee asked
“It’s when the 3 pony tribes came together in harmony?” I said
“That’s correct, Back then there was a fragile relationship between the 3 tribes The earth ponies grew the food, and the Pegasi provided the weather and the Unicorn tribe raised the sun and moon….
*learning time skip… Yeah I know lazy writing... so?* (I'm pretty sure you already know this anyway)
…. And as the Windigos continued to approach they realized that all the arguing between the 3 tribes is what brought the Windigos causing the blizzard and together in friendship they forced back the Windigos through the magic of the fire of friendship” Miss Cheerilee finished
“Alright, you may now go eat lunch and have recess, but remember to be back in class in 30 minutes” She said
As soon as I was outside I looked around for my friends when suddenly spotted them with Diamond Tiara approaching them, as I got closer she turned to me “Oh, look, is this the newest blank flank of your group?” She asked “If I were you I would just ditch these blank flanks although I’m not you since I have my cutie mark and you are still a blank flank”
I took a deep, breath calming myself down “Normally I don’t argue back when it comes to bullies since I don’t care what they say about me, but don’t insult my friends Diamond Tiara” I said
It looked like she was about to say something but was interrupted as I saw my sister Shadow called out “Leave them alone”
Diamond Tiara turned around “Why are you trying to defend these blank flanks?” She asked “If you know what's good for you better stay out of this” she said
“Diamond Tiara leave my sister and her friends alone” Shadow repeated while I watched it play out while I was secretly grinning Shadow is usually silly and jokes around alot, but when someone she cares about is being picked on she can get really scary… hmm I guess almost like Maud pie… except Shadow shows her emotions more but I think you get the idea.
Diamond Tiara looked between Shadow and us glaring then turned to Silver Spoon muttering something then both walked off
Once they were out of earshot, I turned to
Shadow and then I glimpsed something on Shadow’s flank, a cutie mark, it was a set of blue headphones
“Shadow when did you get your cutie mark?” I asked curiously
“What?“ she asked, confused
I pointed at her flank and she looked and I saw the realization in her eyes “Oh, I Uh forgot..oops” she said
I facehooved at the fact she forgot about getting her cutie mark “So when did you get your cutie mark and what did you get it in” I asked happy for her earning her cutie mark
“Well, I was helping Pinkie throw a Pinkie Party and then I was helping Vinyl Scratch set up and she let me play a song and then I got my cutie mark” Shadow said
“So you got a cutie mark in being a DJ?” I asked
“Yep,” she replied
“Come inside everypony Recess is over” Miss Cheerilee called us back inside.
“Have an amazing day everypony and remember to study as we have a test coming up next week” Miss Cheerilee said as everypony was making their way outside
Once I was outside I was once again joined by my friends the Cutie Mark Crusaders
“Hey Rose, do you want to have a sleepover at Sweet apple acres with us?” Apple Bloom asked
“Sure!” I said Excitedly “Although I don't have anything for a sleepover and don't we have school tomorrow?”
“We already have everything ready at the clubhouse and Rarity was busy with working on something for a customer and so Applejack decided to let us have a sleepover at Sweet Apple Acres tonight” Sweetie Belle said
“Ok, but I will need to check in with Twilight about it first” I said
“We already asked Twilight if it was alright if you came with and she was ok with it” Scootaloo Said “Although we would have asked you this morning and give you a ride to school but you had already left”
“Yeah, it turns out, apparently Twilight decided to have us leave 2 and a half hours before school at 5o'clock” I said
They Laughed “Yeah, that sounds like something Twilight would do” Scootaloo said, jumping on her scooter and putting a helmet on “Well, come on maybe we can get the catapult built today!”
I climbed over the side of the wagon and got into a comfortable position and then I felt somepony strap a helmet on my head, as soon as everypony was ready Scootaloo took off down the path to Sweet Apple Acres.
When we arrived at the Clubhouse I got out of the wagon and stretched and unclipped my helmet and set it inside the wagon
“So if we’re working on the Catapult do we have the supplies here?” I asked looking around
“Yeah, we have the supplies to build it over here”Apple Bloom Said leading the way
I followed her and right out of view from where we were was an assortment of supplies from Wooden boards, tools, rope and chains, etc.
“Alright then, let’s get the instructions and let’s begin” I said
*A few hours of building*
It took a few hours, but we had most of it finished and it actually looked somewhat stable, *Crack* (A piece of wood nailed to the Catapult falls off).... More or Less…
“Hey Rose! Could you climb up there and make sure all the boards in the basket thingy are nailed down completely?” Scootaloo asked me
I looked at the rope that was keeping the thing from firing and the surrounding boards with like a kabillion and 1 nails straining to keep it attached and gulped “S-Sure thing!” I said and cautiously grabbed a hammer in my mouth and climbed into the basket to look for loose boards thankfully not finding any I quickly jumped out of the basket not wanting it to fire while I was inside
“I didn’t find any loose boards up there” I said to whoever was listening
“Alright, help me push this into the basket!” Scootaloo said, pushing a boulder over to the basket and we all ran over to shove it over into the basket
“Alright stand back, I’m launching it!” Scootaloo said, picking up the rope in her mouth to activate
When she launched it I half expected it to just collapse right then and there... well, I was half right It did fall apart but not before launching the boulder far into the distance
“Where do you think it will land?” Sweetie Belle asked as we watched the boulder fly into the distance
“I have no Idea” I said after thinking about it for a moment
*Somewhere in the distance*
Daring Do was running through a jungle being chased by Ahuizotl her left wing injured and bandaged to her side, she was starting to loose him but then she heard the distant roar of the ocean and found herself on the edge of a cliff with jagged rocks sticking up from beneath the rough waves of the ocean crashing into the cliff face she quickly turned around to spot Ahuizotl stepping out from the jungle “There is no escape for you Daring Do” He said coming closer
“Give me the artifact and I may let you live”
Daring Do saw movement in the sky and looked at it from the corner of her eye and saw that it was a boulder and it was coming right for Ahuizotl she grinned “I don’t think so Ahuizotl” She said as the faint whistling of an object moving very fast through the air could be heard
Ahuizotl turned to the direction it was coming from and tried to move out of the way, but was too late as it crashed into him and sent him off the edge of the cliff and faintly his voice carried as he fell “Curse you Daring Do this is not the last you will see of me!” He called out falling into the ocean.
*Back to the Crusaders*
“Girls! It’s time for Dinner!” Applejack Called up from below the Clubhouse
“Okay Applejack we’ll be there soon!” Apple Boom said to Applejack
I finished picking up my crayons from drawing a picture and showed the girls “Be honest, how did I do?” I asked
“Oh, it’s um very…” Apple Bloom said, trailing off
“What is that even supposed to be? It looks like a rainbow decided to puke on it” Scootaloo asked and Apple Bloom looked at her “What? She wanted us to be honest”
“I actually really like it” Sweetie Belle said and I smiled ‘At least somepony likes my Drawings (That’s why she is Best Crusader :D)’
“It’s supposed to be a drawing of us while going on an adventure together” I said
“Oh, well come on girls, let’s hurry up and go have Dinner” Apple Bloom said leading the way
*Dinner with the apples*
“Ah Hello Rose I don’t believe that you have been introduced to the family, Everypony this is Amethyst Rose and Rose This is my brother Big Macintosh, but everypony just calls him Big Mac, this is Granny Smith and of course you already know Apple Bloom and myself” Applejack said introducing me to the family shortly after we arrived.
“Um, Hello” I said, taking a seat at the table next to Sweetie Belle
I began eating Dinner still slightly conscious about the fact that I couldn’t yet use magic and had to eat with my face almost right in the bowl, but no pony pointed anything out so I’m pretty sure I wasn’t looking like any idiot or anything
“So, how was your day?” Applejack asked trying to start a conversation
“In class, Miss Cheerilee taught us more about the first Hearth’s Warming” Apple Bloom said
“Yeah, and Diamond tiara was making fun of us because we didn’t have our Cutie Marks, but Rose stood up to her it was awesome!” Scootaloo said
I looked down, slightly embarrassed “it wasn’t that awesome, I just don’t like it when when my friends are picked on, and it was my sister Shadow who got Diamond Tiara to leave us alone” I said
“Well, I don’t know about Diamond Tiara picking on ya, but what it sounds like what you did Rose sticking up for your friends is one of the best things you can do for a friend, and if Diamond Tiara really is giving you girls a hard time, try talking to her maybe she is just going through a hard time” Applejack said “So is there anything else you four did?”
“Oh, we built a Catapult and it went really far, and after we launched it the entire thing.. Mmph mmmph” Sweetie Belle was cut off by Scootaloo
Applejack looked suspicious but didn’t say anything
“Hey Applejack. Can we go back to the Clubhouse?” Apple Bloom asked
“Alright, just don’t stay up too late tonight y’all still have school tomorrow” Applejack said
“Ok Applejack” Apple Bloom Said “Come on girls!” Apple Bloom said Leading the way back to the Clubhouse.

“So what should we do first?” Applebloom asked I saw Scootaloo out of the corner move over to where the pillows were at and grab one, come up behind Apple Bloom and shout “Pillow fight!” while throwing the pillow at Apple Bloom
I smiled and grabbed a pillow of my own and chased after Scootaloo “Stop running Scootaloo!” I yelled after Scootaloo laughing, then suddenly from out of nowhere pillows began flying at me and Scootaloo getting us both buried in a mountain of pillows, then I saw Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom laughing and hoof bumping “Never trust the ones you can’t see” I muttered to myself I turned to Scootaloo grinning “Truce?” I asked her
Also grinning, she replied back “Truce”
“Pillow war!” I shouted as both Scootaloo and I began rapid throwing pillows at Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom after a few minutes of throwing pillows I noticed that somepony kept restocking both sides pillows I turned to Scootaloo with a questioning look on my face
“Probably Pinkie Pie” Scootaloo said
Nodding, I yelled over our makeshift pillow wall “Do you surrender to the ultimate Pillow fight champions?” I asked them
“Never!” I suddenly heard my sister Raven called out from the other side
“What is she doing here?” I asked
Shadow popped out from beneath one of the pillows behind us “We’re joining your Pillow fight war!” She yelled excitedly “Pinkie Pie told us that you were having one!”
*Pillow fight continues until levels of insanity*
“Ooh A pillow fight growing into an all out Pillow war” Discord said, appearing from above the pillow fight “Let’s spice this Pillow war up a little”
Then I felt myself being teleported somewhere and I found myself in a Pirate ship made of pillows
“Rose! Get yourself top side!” I heard Pinkie call down “The SS. Chaos is preparing to open fire! We need all hooves on deck!”
I found some stairs and was surprised by what I saw along the deck there was multiple Pillow cannons and in the distance was a…. Pillow Ship with Discord's face on their flag… oh and the ocean was made of chocolate milk.. There's that too
“Captain Scootaloo! Take us in closer! Are cannons are still out of range!” Shadow called over to Scootaloo
Once we got closer I could hear Discord using a megaphone "Captain Scootaloo of the SS. Scootachicken this is Captain Discord of the SS. Chaos Surrender your ship and its treasure! And we may let you get home safe!”
“We will never surrender!” Scootaloo said also using a megaphone
“Then prepare to meet your chocolatey fate” Discord replied
“Rose!” Shadow said “Hold the Pinkie Cannon still and don’t fire it until we are in range!”
It was completely quiet for a moment, then suddenly I heard dozens of cannon shots
“FIRE!” then all of our cannons returned Pillow fire
When the pillows impacted the ship pillows from the ship broke free leaving behind holes in the ship
“Captain we’re taking on chocolate milk!” Pinkie yelled, pointing down the stairs showing slowly rising chocolate milk
“I’m taking us in closer! Prepare the Pinkie cannon we are sending in our secret weapon! Pinkius Pieicus!” Scootaloo said
I turned to see Pinkie dressed as a Pillow ninja climbing into the Cannon
“Good luck Pinkie! Fire the cannon!” Scootaloo shouted
Once Pinkie landed I was blinded by a sudden flash of light as fireworks, party streamers, confetti and all sorts of party stuff began popping up all over the ship, then I saw a very pinkiefied white surrender flag being raised.
Then Pinkie pie came flying back to our ship by cannon
“Great job Pinkie!” I said “How did you get them to surrender?”
“I just threw them a pinkie pie Pillow fight, Pinkie Party and then I had Discord Pinkie Promise to surrender this game” Pinkie said then suddenly the white flag went down replaced by Discord with a speech bubble saying “I will never surrender!”
Pinkie stared at it blankly for a moment before saying quietly “He broke a pinkie promise… NOPONY BREAKS A PINKIE PROMISE!” And then charged the Cannon and launched herself at Discords Ship.. And let’s just say I’m pretty sure Discord has learned his lesson to never break another pinkie promise again… as Discord came floating by on a pillow waving a surrender flag while covered in cake and chocolate milk, Then we were all teleported back to sweet apple acres and it was just us the Crusaders left
“That was awesome!” Scootaloo said
I laughed “yeah, that was really fun!” I said hoof bumping Scootaloo “So who’s up for S'mores!” I asked Excitedly
I sat there with a s'mores enjoying the flavor “Mmm S'mores are amazing” I said, grabbing a marshmallow and putting it on a stick to roast my own marshmallow, then Apple Bloom spoke up “Um Rose isn’t it going to catch on fire if you leave it that close?”
“Wut about ut? I alwuys do ut this way,” I said, trying to speak clearly with the stick in my mouth
“If it catches fire how are you going to put it out if you have the stick in your mouth?” Apple Bloom Asked
“Oh,” I said, realizing what she meant, I shifted and grabbed the stick with my fore-hooves careful not to drop it
“Ooh! How about we tell scary stories?!” Sweetie Belle Asked
“Well, I normally wouldn’t mind, but *Yawn* I’m too exhausted, so I’m going to head to bed, Goodnight Everypony” I said making my way sleepily over to my sleeping bag completely exhausted. “*yawn* Goodnight….” I said, trailing off into sleep.
“Rose! Come on wake up! We’re going to be late if we don’t hurry!” Applebloom said, shaking me trying to wake me up
“Ugh Wha?” I said, barely awake
“Come on Rose we need to go or we will be late” Scootaloo said
“Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” I asked “I still need to get ready”
“We don’t have time” Scootaloo said
“Don’t worry Rose you’re mane doesn’t look too bad it will be fine for today” Sweetie Belle said
“Yeah, it will be fine Rose but we need to go before we are late” Scootaloo said already getting onto her scooter with her helmet on
I climbed over the ledge into the Wagon and strapped my helmet on
“Alright Hang on girls I’m going to go extra fast today, so we are not late” Scootaloo said
I grabbed onto the edge of the wagon with my hooves not knowing just how fast she was going to go and even then I nearly fell out as she propelled us down the path to school But I managed to stay inside the wagon. With how fast Scootaloo was going it didn’t take long to get to school when we pulled up in I got out of the wagon l was laughing “That was fun” I said
I turned back to the crusaders before we went inside “So what do you three have planned?” I asked curious
“Well, ah have some chores ah need to finish” Applebloom said
“I will be hanging out with Rainbow Dash later today” Scootaloo said
“And Rarity is having me try on some new dresses she made, Sorry Rose” Sweetie Belle said
“Huh, no It’s alright, I was just curious, I will be with Twilight today she will be teaching me magic” I said
*Just a normal day of school later*
As I was walking outside I saw that Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were already ready to go “Hey girls” I said “You can go without me for today I think I’m going to walk home today with my sisters” I said
“Alright, Bye Rose!” Scootaloo said followed by the other two in the back waving “Bye Rose!”
I waved back “Bye! I’ll see you later!” Once they had taken off I looked around trying to find my sisters before I finally spotted them “Hey Shadow! Raven! Wait up!” I said running, trying to catch up with them “Hey Rose!” Shadow said as I joined them
“Oh hey Rose!” Raven said, looking happy “Senpai finally noticed me! I can’t wait to tell Midnight Blizzard
“Who is Midnight Blizzard?” I asked
“You know her, she’s my friend” Raven Replied
I stared at her confused “I don’t know anypony that goes by Midnight Blizzard” I said
Raven thought about it for a moment before facehoofing “I forgot you don’t know her pony name yet, It’s my friend Skyla”
“Ohh, Skyla, I didn’t know that she was a Pegasister” I said, realizing who she was talking about
“Yep, and she is going to so excited to hear that I actually met Discord!” Raven said
“Hey! Don’t leave me out of the Conversation!” Shadow complained
I stared at her “We weren’t leaving you out of the conversation you just didn’t say anything” I said
“Oh, I almost forgot I need to meet Pinkie and Emi at SugarCube Corner Bye!” Shadow said taking off
“Well, I’m going to go ahead and go home today is my first magic lesson with Twilight!” I said excited “Bye Shadow! Bye Raven!” I said waving goodbye and then I picked up the pace towards the Castle.
*First Magic Lesson*
“Twilight! I’m home!” I said as I entered the castle looking for Twilight
“I’m in here!” Twilight called out from one of the spare rooms
I entered the room and found a bunch of different things set up that I have no idea what any of it is for or does and since I could sense magic from most of the stuff Twilight had set up my first instinct was to not touch anything (I didn’t feel like having stuff blow up in my face, so sue me… (it’s just an expression I remember hearing from home!... please don’t actually sue me)
“Uh, Twilight? What is all of this for?” I asked
“It’s for your first magic lesson” Twilight said
“This is a lot of stuff for a first lesson” I said
“Well I don’t know how fast you will progress yet so I wanted to make sure I had other stuff already setup for you to work on if we get done with the more basic part of magic, However first I have a few tests to see how much about magic you may already know, and then I also have some textbooks for you to read on the subject of magic and if we get done with all that with time left, we can move onto the next lessons I have planned” Twilight Smiled “I’m excited to get started, this will be my first time teaching somepony magic”
*A few hours later of… something?*
So… uh, yeah, umm the lesson is currently going… ok? No. Just No. I can’t even lie about this, it’s been a complete disaster we got through the test and Textbooks quickly, Levitation was… Fairly Easy, But now we were working on, um what was it called again? It’s that light spell anyway, It was going great! I even accidentally put more magic into that wherever the spell hit it left smoking craters behind… which is why Twilight is currently hiding behind a table, eyes twitching and also yelling encouragement as I tried to cast the spell growing more annoyed shooting laser beams from my horn, creating craters in the wall and ceiling… Actually I may be overreacting, hang-on let me go check the room again *Looks Around Room* Nope if anything I’m underrating it…anyway...
“Come on Rose you can do it!” Twilight said from behind the table
I continued casting the spell and then the door opened and Spike came into the room
“Hey Twilight, what’s going on here?” Spike asked Then Dived out of the way of an incoming laser
He looked at the smoking hole in the door “ I’ll come back later when supper's ready” Spike said… then quickly left room
“OK Bye Spike!” I said waving my hoof at him as he left then I looked at my horn and smiled “Hey Twilight I finally did it!”
Twilight Smiled coming out from behind the burnt table “At this rate We’ll be able to move onto the more advanced spells in no time!” She said very excited not worried at all about the smoking craters all over the destroyed room from me attempting a ‘simple’ spell, attempting more advanced spells from how things have already went should be a breeze by this logic… Right? Or is this bordering on Pinkie Pie logic?
“Yay!” I said excited to learn more magic “What spell are we going to try next?” I asked waiting for Twilight to finish checking her notes she was about to say something before being interrupted by Spike, who was hiding behind the door, probably not knowing if he would be hit by any spells if he came in, although I think I heard somewhere that dragons were resistant to magic but even so I doubt he would want to get hit by anything “Uh, Twilight? Rose? It’s time for Dinner” He said
Just then my stomach decided to embarrass me and gave off a loud growling sound, I blushed slightly at that “Uh, I could do for some Dinner” I said
I made my way to the one room with the Cutie Map and saw that my sisters were already there, although Shadows mane looked somewhat- Very much burned, it was almost like one of those laser spells I was accidentally casting hit her or something but she was nowhere nearby so I don’t know how that happened
“Hey Raven, Hey… Shadow, what happened to your mane?” I asked
She just looked at the table “I don’t want to talk about it” She said regrettingly
I rolled my eyes “Okaaay then” I said as Twilight and Spike came in with Dinner and sat down about halfway-ish through Dinner Twilight mentioned some news which was exciting to me “Alright so Rarity wanted you three to come over tomorrow so she could make you dresses for the Grand Galloping Gala”
“Ooh! The Grand Galloping Gala is coming up!” I said Excited “This will be my first time going!”
Shadow Groaned “Do I Have to wear a Dress?” She Complained
“It will only be for one night” Twilight said
Shadow Sighed “Fine”
Then something came to mind “Wait is she making Twelve dresses right before the Gala?” I asked, concerned that Rarity was probably trying to finish Twelve dresses the day before
“Oh no, she’s already finished making Dresses for everypony except for you Three” Twilight said
I looked out the window as we finished up Dinner and saw that it wasn’t that late yet and that I wasn’t tired yet and since it was the end of the week I decided to try and get everypony to play a game
“Hey does anypony want to play Simon says?” I asked
“Oh what’s that?” Twilight asked
“You don’t have that game here?” I asked, to which Twilight shook her head “No, I think we do I just haven’t actually played it before”
“Ok, well the rules are simple somepony will say something like ‘Simon says jump up and down and you have to do that or you’re out, but if they don’t say Simon Says first then you don’t do it and if you do you’re out and whoever is the last one out gets to choose what we do” I said explaining the game as best as I could
“Okay, I get it, Sure, I’ll play” Twilight Said and soon everypony agreed to play
“So who goes first?” I asked
“How about you go first since you recommended the game” Twilight said
“Okay,” I said thinking of one “Simon Says… Jump up and down” I decided to start off easy and make sure that everypony actually knew the rules before I tried to trick them
“Simon says, Boop somepony on the nose” I said Twilight got confused by that and so she was out “Alright, next, Simon says Call Twilight Adorkable” I said then instantly started Giggling as everypony called Twilight Adorkable, But I wasn’t the only one Spike was also laughing “Adorkable! Hahaha! A-A-Adorkable!” Spike said While laughing
Twilight was confused “What do you mean I’m adorkable?”
I stopped Giggling enough to explain “Well, it’s something that those who watch the show I told you about started calling you Adorkable meaning since you read so many books which makes you a dork, but also since you’re adorable they call you Adorkable” I said causing Twilight to blush
I continued the game again “Simon says T- Oh, hi Pinkie!” I said waving my hoof causing everypony to become confused except for Shadow who repeated what I said and also waved her hoof towards Pinkie Pie
“I win!” Shadow said
“Uh, Yeah, I guess you did win since I did say Simon says, So, yeah that counts” I said returning my attention to Pinkie (yep, I wasn’t just doing that to confuse everypony) “Hey Pinkie! What are you doing here?” I asked
“Well, my Pinkie Sense was telling me that somepony was talking about Memes so I had to grab my box of Memes” Pinkie said opening her box of Memes and was looking through them
She pulls out a rubber chicken that looks vaguely like Scootaloo “Meet Scoota-Chicken” She said
I facehoofed at all the memes that I knew was about to be brought up as Pinkie moved on to stuff about ‘Trollestia’ “At least Twilicane hasn’t been brought up” I said quietly to myself..
I was listening to Pinkie Present the memes when I heard a whistling sound coming from outside and then suddenly came through the window and hit me in the head, I blinked to clear the stars that were in my vision and looked down to see what hit me… Twilicane… Uh oh I must have accidentally insulted the Twilicane Meme, Oops.
Well, there is only one thing left to do… Nope the way out of there
“NopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNope” I said running all the way to the Nope Room (My Room IS the Nope Room) uh oh I think the Twilicane is coming I’m gonna go hide under the covers now Nope ya- I mean Write ya later!
