The Beast of Friendship 2.0

Well, I never expected this. I went to bed one night and woke up in my room. But now said room, along with the rest of my house, is in Equestria! At least the locals are friendly, but what's with the racket in my garage?

So I wake up, expecting another day in the big city, only to find that my house and everything in it are now in Equestria! At least the locals seem kind enough, though I do wonder why my garage is so loud. Oh yeah, and the ponies are anthro, so...

Prologue 2.0

I woke up with a start. What a strange dream that was. Getting sent to Equestria and getting some kind of power that let me manifest Mobile Suit Gundam franchise weapons? Maybe I should let off the midnight snacks.

I guess I should introduce myself. The name's Nathan, Nathan Devanson. Call me Nate. I'm not really anyone special. Just a guy living in a small house in a big city.

Though I guess I may be a little bit special. I'm a sculptor. It's more of a hobby I picked up to help deal with... Nevermind. I found a lot of comfort in it and I even sell some of my work.

See, I like doing tiny, yet immensely detailed sculptures of gundam stuff. To do that, I have to learn the details by heart. So I start large, and make copies of one statue until I know every detail to the point where I don't even have to look at the model. I can do it by muscle memory.

Once I reach that point, I go miniature. Like half a foot square miniature. I make all my personal models around that size.

I do bake all my creations in a kiln in my garage, then I paint them. The personal ones with a very thin brush. I'm happy to say that my work has gone for a good deal on Ebay. The highest price I set is around $50, and even then only for the really big ones. Like two feet tall big. I was doing the Gadelaza from Awakening of the Trailblazer.

Anyway, The reason I make my personal copies so small was so I could fit them in a personal case. The thing is a lacquered wooden box roughly about two feet tall and one and a half feet in both length and width. It has straps so I can carry it like a backpack and hinges on either side at the top and bottom.

I made the thing myself. It's basically made up of boxes that contain all of my personal models lined up in a grid. Each and every statue is secured well enough that they won't go anywhere.

Oh shoot sorry, I rambled on for a while huh? I tend to do that at times. Anyway, back to waking up.

So I wake up and look around my, admittedly, plain room. I have a few posters here and there, a desk with a computer, and a dresser with a tv on top.

The dresser actually holds all my gaming systems and games, along with controllers and things like that. I kept my clothes in a nightstand next to my bed since I only have enough for maybe 8 days, and I would have had to do laundry on the 8th day.

I look out my window and see...

WHAT THE HELL?!?

Why am I seeing grassy fields and terrain?!? I live in the middle of the city! There should be a jungle out there alright, a concrete jungle! Not-!

Okay...Okay breathe... Do. Not. Panic. Freaky shit has happened before. This is not normal, but I'm sure there is an explanation.

GROWL!

WHAT THE-! Oh. Phew. Just my stomach. I am starving. Breakfast first, then shower, and then explanations. Yeah, let's go with that.

So I go into the kitchen, and look out the window.

Yup, definitely not the big city. If anything, I'm getting a distinct country village vibe here from the buildings I see. As the sun is not yet up, I will worry about it later.

I get out a bit of sausage, some biscuits, and some milk from the fridge. I made biscuits for a big breakfast party earlier this week, but it got rained out, so I never got to take them out of the container I had them in.

Now I'll make myself up some sausage gravy, put it on the biscuits and have a nice solid breakfast.

So after eating and drinking a bit more milk to wash everything down, I took a steaming hot shower and was about to get dressed when I heard a knock on my door.

I briefly wonder if I should put on some pants before the knocking came again. Sighing at the fact they wouldn't wait, I resigned myself to having only a towel on while answering the door.

"I'm coming, geez. Just gimme a minute" I said as I walk over and grab the doorknob. Turning it, I braced myself for whatever I was going to see.

Twilight Sparkle liked to think she was a rather level headed mare.

Sure she had her moments where she worried herself into a fit, but she liked to think she was working on it. And her ascension as the princess of friendship had helped quite a bit in her mind.

Of course not everyone agreed. Her assistant Spike, for example, knew that she still had an extreme need to know and understand everything.

Of course, in this case, Spike was willing to be lenient. After all, it's not every day that a house appears on the edge of town seemingly overnight.

Spike ran about the library, going from a desk, where Twilight sat, to various shelves in the library as his adopted older sister called out for various books as she attempted to figure out just how this was all possible. Twilight was using her magic to hold a quill and write with it as she used both hands to go through at least four different books laid out on the desk. A large stack of books that was taller than Twilight and was still rapidly growing was sitting on the floor next to her.

"Twilight!" A feminine voice cried out as another figure ran into the library. Rainbow Dash tripped on a book that Spike had dropped in surprise when she shouted. Rolling comically along the floor, she headed straight toward the stack of discarded books. She stopped just short of it and sat up holding her head.

"Ow. That hurt." Rainbow said as she slowly stood up, swaying slightly as she was still dizzy from her tumble.

"Rainbow, are you alright?" Twilight asked as she stood up and walked over to her friend. "You need to be more careful, if you had knocked this over, I could've lost all my research into possible causes for this situation!"

"Sorry Twi, I guess you still haven't gotten this figured out yet then?" Rainbow asked.

"No, we haven't." Starlight Glimmer answered for Twilight as she came down the stairs looking rather haggard. "We have several possible causes, but without any further information we're having trouble finding a specific cause." She then turned to Twilight and said, "I checked everywhere for that book you asked for, but I think it might have been checked out or something."

"Darn it! 'Unusual Magical Phenomena of the Physical and Metaphysical Planes' was the book most likely to have the answer! Who could have checked it out?!?"

Meanwhile, inside a certain blue box that contained a madman, or in this case madstallion, said lunatic sneezed while reading through the required book.

"I don't know, and we don't have time to figure it out. What do we do now Twilight?" Starlight asked.

"Ooh! Ooh! I know!" Said another pony that seemed to appear out of nowhere behind Rainbow Dash, making said mare jump and run into the pile of books in front of her. Said pile then proceeded to fall over, burying Twilight under at least a hundred books.

"Twilight! Are you okay?!?" Spike asked as he ran over and started digging through the pile of bound parchment pages. The young alicorn's head soon popped out of the mound, looking rather irritated.

"Pinkie Pie..." Twilight began in a tone that seemed far too sweet. A terrifying smile was on her face and there was a distinct twitch in her brow.

"Yes?" Pinkie replied innocently, a smile on her face and her hands clasped behind her back.

"Your idea had better be good...Or else..." Twilight threatened as she stood up and looked at Pinkie, an aura forming the shape of a monstrous face behind her. Everyone but Pinkie suddenly backed into a wall in fear of Twilight's wrath.

"Well, why not write to Princesses Celestia and Luna about this." Pinkie said cheerfully, either blissfully unaware or intentionally ignoring Twilight's obvious rage, "Then just go and knock on the door and see if anyone's home?"

Twilight tensed, ready to lay into Pinkie, when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Blinking and turning in surprise she turned to see Spike looking a little embarrassed.

"You know Twilight, she has a point." He said with a hand scratching the back of his head, "Think about it, we've been trying to find out the reason here, but haven't found anything. Maybe the princesses would know something about this."

Twilight opened her mouth and raised her pointer finger, about to try and counter that point, before closing and lowering them as she actually thought about what was being said. Then she facepalmed, realizing that the solution had been right in front of her the whole time. Turning, she pointed at Pinkie and asked, "Okay, you have a point. Help us clean up and then we can write the princesses."

"Silly Filly!" Pinkie giggled, "It's already been cleaned up."

Startled, Twilight turned to find that indeed the mess had already been cleaned.

"Oh," She said, "Thanks, Spike, Starlight."

"Ummm, it wasn't us." Starlight said a little bit freaked out.

"Wait, if it wasn't you, then who was it?" Twilight asked.

"It was me you silly filly!" Pinke said, still giggling away.

"What!? But-But I didn't even see you move! How the Tartarus Did you even-! Wha-! Bu-! Huh?" Twilight stuttered as he struggled to understand.

"The author let me do it because he didn't want to do a time skip." Pinkie replied, all but laughing out loud now, "Now hurry up and write that letter so we can go and meet the main character." After making this terrifying statement - "It's not that scary silly author!" - *Ahem* As I was saying, she turned and started walking out the door.

At this point, the other occupants of the room looked at each other confusedly, shook their heads and labeled these events under the mental folder labeled 'Pinkie Being Pinkie', and moved on.

After writing and sending their letter to the princesses, Twilight, Starlight, Rainbow, and Spike went to look at the house. When they arrived, they saw that a rather large crowd had formed in front of the said mysterious structure.

Hanging at the edge of the crowd, there were three mares that they knew rather well talking with Pinkie.

"Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy! How are you doing?" Twilight asked as she walked up to them.

"I'm quite well my dear, if a bit conflicted. On the one hand, the paint scheme on this house is simply fabulous! On the other, however, it appeared out of absolutely nowhere so I am not sure if I should approach it." Rarity said as she turned to look at her friends.

"Oh..Um...Hi Twilight. I'm good I guess. My animal friends seem to be avoiding this place for some reason though." Fluttershy answered.

"Well I'm doing mighty fine myself. I was the one to spot this thing from the orchards as I was doing the daily apple bucking." Applejack said, completing the trio's responses.

"Well now that we're all here, let's go and knock!" Pinke said while bouncing around.

"Now hold on there Pinkie!" Applejack said cautiously, "We dunno what could possibly live in there. What if it's something dangerous?"

"Well Twilight wrote to the princesses right? If it is something dangerous, then all we have to do is buy time for them to get here!" Pinkie replied, grabbing Applejack's hand. "Now come on, let's go!"

And so saying, she dragged her friends through the crowd which quickly parted to clear a path once they realized what was going on. Once they were at the door, she knocked quickly. When there was no response for a few seconds she knocked again.

"I'm coming, geez. Just give me a second." A masculine voice called out just before the door opened.

Now I was expecting just about anything. A mob of angry villagers with pitchforks and torches, an old lady with a pie ready-made for her new neighbor, things like that.

What I was not expecting, was seven drop-dead gorgeous bombshells that looked like they were half horse.

Starlight is just about equal to Suri from the second picture.

I will admit, my jaw dropped and I almost dropped the towel if I hadn't snapped out of it.

"*Ahem* Sorry but you caught me just out of the shower. I'll bet you have questions. I do too, cuz I dunno how I got here. If you'll give me a moment to get dressed, I'll let you in and we can talk." I said, attempting to regain my composure. I've never been good at talking to girls, but I can do it if I think of them as people in general rather than girls specifically.

Apparently, they were staring a bit and my voice shook them out of it as the shook their heads. Then the purple one spoke.

"Of-Of course! Sorry about this! We'll wait here!" She said quickly as she looked away with an extreme blush on her face, along with the yellow, the white one, the pink one with blue hair, and the orange one. The all pink one and the one with rainbow hair seemed to be checking me out and the pink one giggled behind her hand as the rainbow one nodded with a smirk on her face.

I was nervous so I shut the door a bit harder than I meant to and rushed to my room. I quickly got dressed in a pair of white shorts and a red shirt before looking over and noticing my lucky hat.

It was a navy blue trilby with a white band covered in red stars. The hat was a gift from my father. And I always felt like he was by my side when I wore it, which made me more confident. I had a feeling I would need that confidence today, so I put it on.

After I was dressed I went back to the door and opened it just a crack to check if they were still there. When I confirmed that, I opened it up all the way.

"Again, I am so sorry about that. Please come in. The house isn't that big but I do have a fully stocked kitchen if you want something to drink." I said once I was fully in view as I stepped aside and gestured with my other hand.

It didn't take long for everyone to be seated in the living room. Again, it was rather plain with just a couple couches and a recliner in a drab brown. There was a simple coffee table with a drawer under it in front of both couches and the recliner was at the head of the table.

The couches and recliner were on wheels however, the floor was hardwood and the coffee table could be raised to a rather impressive height. This was so I could make room and use this room for its other designated purpose as my workshop. I usually grab my Clay from a container in the nearby closet and then walk down another hallway and straight out to my garage where, as I've said, I keep my kiln.

Anyway, I think one of them, most likely the all pink one, must have tried to flop down onto one of the couches, 'cause it had rolled about a foot back from where it was. The rainbow one and the orange one were with her standing and staring at the couch in surprise.

"Yeah, I guess I should have warned you about that. This room serves more than one purpose and when I use it for said other purpose I need a lot more room, so the furniture is on wheels."

"Golly, that surprised me," the orange one said, turning to me, "Do you need help putting it back?"

"No, I got it just gimme a minute," I replied and sure enough, it hardly took a minute to get it back in place and everyone sat down again.

Things were quiet for a while, so I took the time to try and determine the character of the girls. The yellow one was fidgeting and kept hiding behind her long hair, she was either scared or shy. The white one was looking around with an appreciative gaze, she wore somewhat fancy clothes and had an air about her that just screamed posh and proper. The pink with blue hair and the purple one were fidgeting and looking around with curiosity, they seemed anxious for some reason. The all pink one was practically vibrating, I wondered if she was always this energetic. The blue one was tapping her foot, her arms across her chest, looking at me with suspicion. Lastly, the orange one was simply watching me, I think she was trying to figure me out too.

"Alright! That's it!" I said, startling them a bit. "Sorry, I got sick of the silence. So can I get your names so I can stop referring to you by color scheme in my head?"

They blinked, I think in surprise, before the all pink one burst out laughing.

"You...You've been calling us by our fur colors?!? Hahaha!" She said between laughs. I raised an eyebrow and turned to the others.

They shrugged, then the purple one spoke, "Sorry, I don't get it either. I guess it's just Pinkie being Pinkie again. She always does things like this. Anyway, my name is Twilight Sparkle, And this is my student, Starlight Glimmer." She said as she indicated the pink one with blue hair. So that's three names down if the all pink one is actually called Pinkie.

The white one then cleared her throat, "My apologies for my bad manners sir. My name is Rarity, and as they said, the laughing loon over there is Pinkie Pie." She said as she glared at the newly confirmed Pinkie.

I looked at the orange one next, and she nodded. "The name's Applejack partner. And be warned, if you hurt my friends, then you deal with me."

"Not to mention me as well." The blue one said. "I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in Equestria."

And lastly, I looked over at the yellow one. She didn't say anything.

"And what might name be young lady?" I asked kindly. When I said that it was silent. Pinkie just suddenly stopped laughing, I had no idea why.

"Oh, me? Well...Um..." She began, then said something so quiet that I didn't catch it.

"I'm sorry what? Could you please speak up a little?" I asked as gently as possible.

"Oh...sorry... I said I'm..." And again she trailed off in volume.

"Alright, let me ask you something. Are you scared of me?" I asked gently.

"No! No...I'm I'm not scared, I'm just..." She said as she hid behind her hair, which I have to admit was very cute.

"You'll have to forgive Fluttershy, my dear man," Rarity said as she put a hand on 'Fluttershy's' shoulder, "As the second half of her name suggests, she is quite shy, especially around strangers."

"Ah, I see," I said with a nod and a smile. "I used to be the same way. But I got better over time. I guess I should give my name now. I am Nathan, Nathan Devanson, but you can call me Nate."

With introductions out of the way, things seemed a lot less tense. I could tell that Twilight, Starlight, and Pinkie were all bursting with questions.

"Alright, so as I said at the door, I'm sure you have questions. I have some myself. So how about we take turns. I'll ask first, then we go in clockwise order. And when it is your turn you can ask only one question, sound good?" I enquired politely.

"Yes, that sounds pretty reasonable. Let's do that." Twilight replied as there was a flash of light before a quill, an inkwell, and some parchment appeared out of thin air and started floating in front of her.

"Okay...I was gonna ask about something else, but now I have a new question. How did you do that?"

"Magic! Don't they have magic where you're from?" She asked. Since she was next to me clockwise I'll count that as her question.

"No. On earth, magic is a thing of myth. The closest we get are illusions using smoke, mirrors and other objects." I replied, noting her writing down what I was saying.

"Fascinating!" She exclaimed as I nodded to Starlight.

"If you don't have magic, then how does your species make progress?" Starlight asked.

"Humans are a technological race." I said, "We use science and technology to simplify tasks and make things easier on ourselves." Rarity was next in line.

"I couldn't help but notice that your clothes are rather basic, is all fashion so simplistic for you?" She asked.

"Well, I didn't follow the fashion world that much, Rarity. But trust me when I say that things seem to be similar to here judging by what you and the others are wearing."

"I see! How interesting." She said as she brought her hand to her chin. Fluttershy was next. She took a few deep breaths before asking her question.

"Ummm, you've mentioned humans a few times...Is...Is that what you are, a human?" She said so softly I barely heard her.

"Yes, that's right Fluttershy. I am a human. Scientific name Homo Sapiens Sapiens. We're omnivorous, but before you panic, we do not eat other sentient races." I said, earning a sigh from her.

"Oh...Ok..." She said before hiding in her hair again.

Next was Applejack.

"How do y'all do farming?" She asked.

"I don't know too much about farming, though my parents were raised on farms. Apparently, mostly farmers plow the soil and plant the seeds with giant tractors, then use airplanes to water the entire field from the sky." I explained.

"Sounds interesting." Applejack said. Pinkie seemed to be really excited for her turn.

"Remember Pinkie, only one question," I said in warning.

"Awww, fine." She replied with a pout. "What kind of parties do you like?"

"Well..." I started while scratching the back of my neck, "I'm honestly not into parties at all. I mean sure, if a friend throws one I might turn up, but I'm more likely to just hang around either the snack table or a darker corner."

She gasped, "That's not good! We'll have to convert you to the party party!"

I sighed and shook my head before looking at Rainbow Dash.

"How fast can a human go?" She asked.

"Well, that depends. On foot, the fastest human in the world went 23.4 miles per hour for about 10 seconds. With an airplane, however, we've reached over Mach 6 or 6 times the speed of sound."

"Say WHAT?!?!?" She shouted, sitting up straight with eyes wide and jaw dropped.

I chuckled, before asking my next question.

"So I'm human, but what are all of you?" I asked bluntly, figuring it would be best just get it over with.

"Well..." Twilight Began as the quill slowed to a stop, presumably either because she needs to focus (Unlikely) or it was done transcribing things (Probable), "I guess it would be best to start with Pinkie and Applejack. They're Earth ponies, which are very strong and usually do most of the farming here. Pinkie is an exception to this rule...and many others." She muttered the last bit under her breath with a shake of her head as said ponies nodded.

"Anyway, next are Rainbow and Fluttershy. They are Pegasi, and they control the weather. Again though, Fluttershy is an exception, she tends to the local wildlife." Rainbow smirked and Fluttershy hid behind her mane again in response to this.

"After them, we have Rarity and Starlight. They are unicorns like I used to be. We have the ability to produce and manipulate mana into magic." Rarity smiled serenely as Starlight fidgeted slightly.

"And finally there's me, I'm an alicorn. I have traits of all three races if you couldn't tell. There are only four known alicorns at the moment: Me, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence." She said with a smile.

"Don't forget that you're a princess too Twilight!" Pinkie said, making me snap my gaze to her before whipping around to look at Twilight in shock as she blushed and glared at Pinkie.

"Seriously Pinkie? I didn't mention it because I didn't want special treatment!" Twilight snarled as Pinkie simply giggled behind her hand.

"Well, in that case, I'll try to treat you like I do everyone else Twilight." I said, "Now, I do believe it's your turn to ask a question."

And so it went for a while. We went around the room, asking questions and learning about each other's worlds. It didn't take long for me to notice a bit of a pattern to their questions. Twilight and Starlight tended to ask about humanity's history and other general facts, Rarity asked about clothing, Fluttershy typically asked about animals, Applejack asked about agriculture, Pinkie asked personal questions, and Rainbow Dash asked about Airplanes.

Out of nowhere, there was a knock on the door. I looked at my guests and asked, "Do you mind if I get that real quick?"

I was honestly a little surprised when Twilight stood up when I did.

"I'll go with you. If that's who I think it is, they're probably going to want to make sure we're alright." She explained as she started to walk towards the hallway. It didn't take long for us to reach the door, and when I opened it, I was treated to yet another vision of beauty.
All I can do. The image linker is busted

Again my jaw dropped, and I only snapped out of it when I heard Twilight squeal loudly right in my ear.

"Cadence!" She exclaimed before going up to the shortest of the three new figures.

"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake! Clap your hands and do a little shake!" Both of them sang while doing a dance that almost gave me diabetes from how cute it was.

"Well it is good to see we are appreciated isn't it dear sister?" The dark blue figure asked the white on with a smile on her face. Making Twilight gasp and blush furiously.

"Oh my gosh! Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, I am so sorry! I got so excited because I haven't seen Cadence for so long and then there was the whole incident with this house and-!" Twilight started babbling until both the other princesses started laughing.

"My sister is only joking my student." The white alicorn began, "It is quite understandable that you were excited. Cadence was in fact in Canterlot for the annual talks between Equestria and the Crystal Empire to make sure the treaties were maintained. When your letter arrived, she asked if she could join us."

I was feeling like a bit of a fifth wheel here, so I politely cleared my throat.

"Twilight, care to make introductions?" I asked, "I can guess that the pink princess here is Cadence by your reaction, and I am willing to bet that these are Princesses Celestia and Luna, but I don't know which is which quite yet." I finished with a slight smirk.

"Oh! I'm sorry Nate. You're right-!" Twilight began before again being interrupted by the white alicorn.

"That was rather rude you know." She stated.

"Sorry, not trying to be. I was attempting to be witty and clever, but I've never been good at filtering what I say. So if I come across as rude, it's most likely unintentional." I said with a shrug. "Anyway, care to give your name?"

"Ah, I see. Well then, my name is Princess Celestia, and this is my sister, Princess Luna." She explained.

"Well then your majesty, I suppose it is my turn. My name is Nathan Devanson, but you may call me Nate." I replied with a playful and overly dramatic bow. "It is a true pleasure to meet you."

My actions earned a slight giggle from all four princesses. After I straightened back up, I stepped through the doorway and put a hand on the doorknob as I extended an open hand towards the hallway.

"I welcome you to my humble abode. Come in if you wish. The living room is straight down this hallway." I said, earning a nod from all but Twilight, who had already started walking down the mentioned hallway. The others soon walked through the door, which I simply shut behind me.

As soon as I walked into the living room, however, I immediately noticed a problem.

"Oh dear. We don't have enough seats do we?" I asked rhetorically, "Give a couple minutes please, I have some spare chairs in the garage. I'll just go get them.

As Nathan left the room, Celestia lost her smile and turned to look seriously at Twilight.

"My student, I dared not ask while he was here but is this...'Nathan' a threat to Equestria?" She asked. She was unprepared for the response she got.

"WHAT?!?" The mane 7 all exclaimed in unison. They stared at Celestia as if they had never seen her before.

"Princess, why would you even ask something like that?! Nathan is very kind, even Fluttershy is already warming up to him!" Twilight said in shock.

Celestia looked into each of their eyes, one by one, before sighing and seemingly slumping.

"Well that answers my question. All of you already consider him a friend don't you?" She said with a small smile before it once again turned into a frown. "I'm sorry my friends, but I had to know. I feel the magic coming off of this place in waves. And the last time I felt magic this strong was when we last faced off against Tirek. Please, what can you tell me about his world?"

The girls all sighed in relief before beginning to tell her what Nate had told them. When they reached the point about there being no magic on Earth, however, she stopped them briefly.

"You're absolutely certain he said that there was no magic on his homeworld?" She asked seriously.

"Yepperoni! That's what he told us, Princess!" Pinkie said.

At this, Celestia looked over to Luna.

"Are you thinking what I am Lulu?" She asked.

"I believe I am, Tia. AMBUR?" Luna said in reply, causing Celestia to nod.

While this was going on, the others in the room were looking between the two confusedly.

"Ummm...Excuse me...Princess Celestia?" Fluttershy began timidly, "Ummm...What does AMBUR mean? If you don't mind me asking that is."

Celestia nodded and opened her mouth to speak, but was interrupted by a loud explosion!

Startled by this, everyone looked at one another before rushing down the hall Nate had ventured through.

Now, I got to my garage, and everything seemed to be fine. I looked through the whole dang place and just could not find those old computer chairs that I know I had stored. That's when I realized that I had them stored in my bunker/safe-house.

Yes, I have a bunker. Yes, it's underground. Yes, I was just that paranoid back on earth. But can you blame me? With things so tense between America and the rest of the world we were bound to get nuked at some point unless we got lucky.

Let's not get into that though, I had a few months worth of supplies down there along with anything I would well and truly miss. I put the chairs down there so I wouldn't have to simply sit on the floor.

Going over to a switchboard I used to control my electric kiln, I reached underneath it and pressed a button. A keypad flipped open, and I put in my code. The floor about a yard and a half next to the kiln started to slowly lower into a ramp, which I walked down.

After a little while, I reached a door with a microphone and button. It was a voice recognition and key system. I sighed, as this part of the process used...Her name.

Pushing the button, I braced myself and spoke that normally forbidden word.

"Annabelle"

A few seconds later, the door opened and I walked through. I was taking some deep breaths to try and maintain my composure. Just thinking about her still brings me pain, even now.

Anyway, the door was actually to a flight of stairs.

What? How did I afford all this? Ha! You think I paid for it all? Yeah right. Most of this was already in place when I bought this house. All I really paid for was the changing of the original stairs and trapdoor into an automatic ramp.

Anyway. The stairs bottomed out in front of another door, this one with an old-fashioned combination lock. I turned the dial appropriately and was granted access to my small to my mid-sized bunker.

Except the bunker wasn't so small anymore! Now it was a MASSIVE room the size of two US Supercarriers!

The walls, floor, and ceiling were all made of metal. There were full-size statues of the Gundams, mobile armors, and ships I had made personal figurines of!

This is the bookmark folder that has all the Gundam wiki pages for the entire list. In other words, Here's the list:
Boom!

All of the mobile suits were in the walls, and the Gadelaza was suspended from the ceiling along with the GN Armor and Assault Carriers.

What really had my attention, however, was the glowing blue crystal floating in the center of the room. It was unsupported, and about twice as big as I was. Curious about it, I stepped through the door. However, I only got about three feet into the room before I was frozen, unable to move except for breathing and blinking.

I watched as the crystal glowed brighter, before shooting out bolts of what looked like lightning which struck all of the statues. They all glowed as the lightning crackled across the surface of their metallic bodies. Then every one of them shot a bolt in the same general direction.

'No..' I thought to myself as my eyes widened, 'Not a single direction, a single target! And I'm that target!'

That was my last thought before the bolts all struck me, because from that point on my world consisted of nothing but pain. It lasted a couple of seconds before an explosion happened and blew me back into the wall next to the door. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was her kneeling in front of me.

The image of a brown-haired, green-eyed girl in a white dress sat on her knees, a hand on Nathan's face. Her white sundress seemingly sparkled in the dim light of the bunker.

"I'm so sorry Nate." She said, "This world needs a savior, and I could think of no one more worthy to be that savior than you."

Her hand began to fade from view, making her draw it back in front of her face. "I'm still not stable enough to stay around for very long. I need more time." She muttered before turning back to Nate. "Rest well, when you wake up, your entire life will change..." She leaned in and planted a kiss on his cheek, "...My love."

She stood up and sighed as she turned into a glowing sphere, which went into Nathan's forehead. And just like that,
she was gone. As if she was never there.

A few moments later the mane 7 and the princesses rushed through the door, they stopped and stared in awe at the room before Fluttershy looked to her right and noticed Nate laying leaned up against the wall.

"Nate!" She cried, catching the others' attention. They quickly ran over and immediately noticed a difference in their friend.

Where he was once of average height and rather chubby, now his frame was lithe and thin, almost like that of a runner or swimmer they thought, and he was a solid 6 ft tall even. His tanned skin had a slight goldish tint to it, and his formerly black hair was now a shade of red reminiscent of the color of blood.

Twilight looked him over before saying with clear relief, "He's alright. It looks like he took a hard blow to the head, most likely when he hit the wall. I wonder what happened?"

Twilight turned to the others as she said this, and noticed that both Celestia and Luna were staring at the floating crystal with grim looks on their faces.

"It seems we were right Tia." Luna said. "It was indeed a case of AMBUR."

"Yes, though judging by the explosion it was much more severe than I thought." Celestia replied. "Just how long has this been building up to still have some left after all that it has already done?"

"Ummm, Celestia?" Cadence began, making everyone jump slightly. They had almost forgotten she was there. "What are you two talking about?"

"Patience, please." Luna responded. "We will explain once Nathan is awake. For now, let us move upstairs once more.
I do believe it is time to raise the moon and lower the sun, so we should leave him on the couch with a note and we can come back tomorrow."

So saying, she slung one of Nathan's arms over her shoulder, while her sister took the other as they began to ascend the stairs once more.
