Chapter 1: A New Sight

In the land known as Equestria, a huge house stands in the middle of a hill. A human named George Cunningham woke up from his bed. Along with his other friends that were waking up were Krusha, Kiddy, Klump, Diddy, Pavilion, and a lot of others.

"Morning, everyone!" George called, as the others called back. He went to the dresser, taking off his pajamas, and putting on his favorite red hoodie and blue jogging pants. He climbed down the ladder, and saw the others dressing up for the day.

"Morning, George!" Pavilion greeted.

"Hey there, cousin." George said.

"What's our routine today?" Simon asked.

"Well, so far we steal food for us, and we get some new supplies for our house."

"Ok, and George, can I ask you something?" Krusha replied.

"What is it?" George asked.

"How come you don't have a girlfriend?"

This made George blush in embarrassment while the other stared him.

"So?" Helen said.

"What?" N. Gin asked.

"Is something wrong?" Skipper asked.

"Really?" Krusha said.

"How could this happen to you?" Klump asked.

"Seriously?" Angie said.

"Hmph." Phoney grunted.

"How come not?" Trudy asked.

"Well, that happened." Jessie commented.

"Come on." Uka Uka urged.

"This is weird." N. Brio said.

"What?" Cortex asked.

"Seriously." Spyro hissed.

"Well, I... Uh..." He started.

"Come on, dude. Villains have girlfriends of their own purposes, maybe you can be in the start." Diddy encouraged.

"Err..." George mumbled.

"Just do it!" Mallo demanded.

"Now!" Robotnik yelled.

"Please?" everyone else pleaded.

After five seconds of puppy-dog eyes, George gave in. "Okay."

Krusha sprayed perfume on George, while Diddy began pushing him out of the house. "Show the ladies who's boss!"

George then dusted himself off and walked to Ponyville. "Ok, George. Time to start dating."

George saw many mares walking in Ponyville. He then decided to introduce himself to Lyra.

"Hey there, baby. Wanna go steady?"

Lyra just stared at George in shock before levitating him and throwing him in a recycling bin. She then trotted off in disgust. "Jerk!"

"Man. And I thought she liked humans." George commented, before crawling out and finding Bon-Bon. "Hello, sweet checks. Do you like boys? I'm one!"

Bon-Bon just glared at him before beating him up. "How revolting he is!" Just like Lyra, she walked away.

"Okay. Let's try again." George said. He walked up to Miss Cherilee. "Hey there, babe. Do you want to go on Saturday Night for some making out?"

Cherillee glared at him and then proceeded to buck him repeatedly. "Rascal!" she hissed as she trotted off.

"Ugh. At this rate, I'll never get the chance of having a girlfriend!" George complained, before turning his attention to a blue mare.

"Are you George Cunningham?" she asked.

"Yep, that's me." George answered. "And you are?"

"Trixie Lulamoon. It appears you are the most dangerous human in existence, and Trxie must turn you in." Trixie said, before pulling out a wanted poster of George.

"Really? Are you going to make me?" George laughed.

"You wouldn't dare to mess with The Great and Warden Trixie, would you?" Trixie growled, before pulling out a police badge that has a warden's approval. "Do as I say, and no one gets hurt!"

"Okay, but before you do, maybe we could go out on a date?" George asked.

"Why would Trixie go out with you? You are dangerous to Equestria, and I'm a reformed mare. Now get to the ground!" Trixie shouted.

"You have to catch me first!!" George taunted, as he ran off.

"Arrgh!" Trixie growled, while casting a human-tracking spell.

Even though George was happy to get away from the warden, he still had a sad look on his face. He had his hands on his pockets, as he angrily kicked a rock while walking.

"Dear Celestia! Why couldn't a single mare give me one chance?!? I wish there could be a single female in this place that would give me a chance! She could be equal!" George complained, before hearing an explosion. He turned to see a female girl running out of Ponyville. She had a tan skin, black boots, bat wings on her back, purple shirt, pink skirt, and long brown hair. George could feel his heart explode, but how could this girl be the one he wanted?

"Stop thief!" a stallion shouted, as he chased the girl.

"And you thought stealing your groceries was bad? Well, you haven't seen enough!" the girl shouted back, as she threw a bomb at the stallion, causing him to fly up, and he screamed until he landed in a farm.

"Wow. That's my type." George thought, as the girl passed by him, not noticing him.

"I've got to go after her." George said, as he ran off.

Half-an-hour later...

George arrived in the center of the Everfree Forest. He could see Celestia's guards flying in, but didn't know why. Once he entered and got to the ditch, he saw the scene. The girl he saw earlier was surrounded by guards, and her wings are suddenly frozen.

"Give it up now, Shadow Mavis! There's no escape now!" a guard shouted.

"Ugh. Okay." Shadow Mavis complained, as one of the guards handcuffed her in the back.

"Hey!" a voice shouted, as they all turned to see George Cunningham on top of a hill. He fell into a great distance, and landed by using his fist as a landing post. "Let her go!"

"That's funny!" a guard laughed. "Get him, boys!"

The other guards came to arrest George, but he was too quick for them, as he slightly beat them up with his fighting skills. He also bit them on the head, and even kicked one in the flank. When they are all defeated, George walked up to Shadow Mavis, and released her from her restraints. The girl blushed as she said "Thank you." to George and flew off. George decided to head home as well. But unknown to them, a certain blue mare was watching them.

"So he likes the girl? Well, I just found out one of is weaknesses!" the mare said.

A few days later...

After stealing his main objectives, George headed for his house. But just as he arrived, he saw Shadow Mavis landing in front of him.

"Uh, hey." he stammered.

"I'd appreciate you for saving me from those guards. If it weren't for you, I would have been a filthy inmate." Shadow Mavis said.

"Yeah, sure." George said.

"What's your name, anyway?" Shadow Mavis asked.

"George Cunningham."

"Oh my, Celestia? THE George Cunningham? The rival of Celestia and her family? The most dangerous human in existence?" Shadow Mavis said.

"Yep."

"Wow! We are thieves, we like to trick the guards, we have so much in common." Shadow Mavis said.

"Well, I've got to get going. See you tomorrow, Shadow Mavis..." George said, as he was about to get inside his house, but the girl stopped him.

"Oh wait! I've got something for you!" Shadow Mavis interrupted.

"What is it? A note?" George guessed.

"No, I'm not really a "note" person..." Shadow Mavis replied, before grabbing George and kissing him on the lips. Suddenly, George felt a feeling he had never encountered: Love.

"Read me?" Shadow Mavis asked, as George fell to the ground.

"Loud and clear..." George mumbled, as hearts flew around his head while he headed for his house as Shadow Mavis watched.

George dreamily went inside, as his friends greeted him, but he didn't reply back.

"George? What's the matter with you?" Spider asked.

"She was like a sweet thief daughter of Sly Cooper..." George said while laughing.

"Who?" Diddy asked.

"That girl I saw on Ponyville, she was like a villain version of Batgirl..." George continued while laughing again.

"Really?" Rool arched an eyebrow.

"She was the crush I was looking fo--" George said, before being slapped by Luke.

"Snap out of it, man! Who's this girl?" Luke cried.

"Shadow Mavis."

"Shadow Mavis?!? The evil twin of Mavis???" everyone said, as thunder boomed.

"Yep. She ACTUALLY talked to me!" George cheered.

"Well, you got to be official on finding a girlfriend." Klump laughed, before seeing George glaring at him angrily.

"It's the truth, pinhead." he snapped.

"Who are you calling pinhead?" Klump shot back.

"Alright, enough you two!" Jesse said.

"Shut it, Jesse! Relax, guys. This isn't going to drift us apart."

"You sure?" Helen asked.

"Of course. I mean, I just only met her. How could it be bad?" George said.

The Next Day...

George was having a picnic with all his friends near his home when suddenly his phone rang.

"Hello?" George said as he picked up his phone. "Ok, I'll be there tomorrow night, sweetheart."

"What was that all about?" Conker asked as George put his phone away.

"Well, it's something personal."

"Really? That never happened before." Helen arched an eyebrow.

"You don't say." Rool sighed.

"Uh..." George sweated nervously.

"Let me guess: It's Shadow Mavis." Spider face-palmed.

"Uh..." George mumbled.

"Dude, how could you--?!?" Kellie cried, before being stopped by Alexia.

"Nah. Let's just have George have his moment."

"Really?!?" George said excitedly.

"Yep. Go ahead. It's like you don't love us anymore." Klump said solemnly.

"Whoa whoa whoa!" George said, getting close to the others. "Just because I'm suddenly in love with a new girl doesn't mean you are not my family anymore! You guys are one of those that matter to me, always."

"Really? If you love us so much, then why won't we come with you to this heist?" Angie asked.

"Because it will spoil everything and get us all arrested." a voice said, as the gang all turned to see Shadow Mavis.

"What?" Krusha asked.

"Hey, cutie!" George rose up to hug Shadow Mavis.

"Hi, sugar pie!" Shadow Mavis hugged George back.

"Wait, what?" Klump asked.

"But how could you guys be a couple? You've just met!" Trudy cried.

"Well, let me explain!" Pinkie Pie popped out of nowhere, which scared everyone. As she came up, George pulled out a gun, pulled the trigger, and shot Pinkie. Everyone gasped at his action.

"George, you killed Pinkie Pie!" Klump cried.

"She was alive?" George asked.

"Uh, yeah." Klump said, as they all stared each other for 15 seconds. After that, they all burst out laughing.

"Oh, man! That was real funny, dude!" Candy cried.

"You crack me up!" Stella laughed.

"Ok, now that's done. Let's get back to business. It all started after I just freed Shadow Mavis from the authorities..." George began, as everything went to a flashback.

Three days earlier...

After Shadow Mavis just flew off the Everfree Forest, George just stared at her flying in awe.

"Wow. After I saved her from being arrested, she said "Thank you". No girl has ever said that to me before." George thought.

But after going out of the entrance, George was suddenly tackled by an unknown pony. He tried to get up, but he couldn't, and he could feel metallic objects in hands hands.

"Subject has been captured. Authorities, come to the near entrance of the Everfree Forest." the pony said.

George tried to get up, but the pony wasn't letting him go. He tried to break his restraints, but they seemed reinforced. Suddenly, the guards arrived, surrounding George.

"Playtime is over, George." a guard said, as they all got closer to him.

George sighed in defeat, as he knew that he was no condition of fighting his way out. But just as they were about to touch him, several Timberwolves appeared out of nowhere, scaring all the guards and the mare. George flipped over to see angry Timberwolves in front of him. He prepared himself to be eaten, but opened his eyes when a whistle was heard. He saw the Timberwolves bowing, and saw the same girl that he saved from being arrested.

"It's the boy that rescued me. You kinda look pathetic." Shadow Mavis said.

George looked depressed after that.

"But you know what? I take that back. It did happen to me several times before, so I couldn't blame you since they caught you by surprise." Shadow Mavis said, as she came down to him. "Besides, you and I, we seem like a match." She then unlocked his handcuffs for him.

"That reminds me. You free Saturday night? Because call it a date!" Shadow Mavis exclaimed.

"Thank you, ma'am." George said gracefully, as Shadow Mavis flew off.

"Pretty much of that was valid. And as for our Saturday night party, it was a blast! There were honor among thieves!" Shadow Mavis exclaimed.

"Hey, I present that!" Sly cried.

"Nobody wants to hear your whining, Cooper!" George shouted. "Anyway, as the days progressed, I've got to learn more about my sugar pie, and we've been dating ever since!"

"Which, in terms, I'm part of his family now!" Shadow Mavis beamed a smile.

"HIS?!? You mean not 'OURS'?!?" Klump shouted.

"Calm down, Klump. It 'his' because George is the one protecting you all. If it weren't him, then all of you would be hanging out at a prison yard!" Shadow Mavis shot back.

"Thanks, li'l cutie." George said.

"What? First, new pet names, then she knew our names, now you're backing her u--" Bowser cried.

"Enough!" George shouted. "Just make her feel welcome. She's becoming a part of the family. If you guys can't treat her properly, then I might as well leave!"

"Alright, we'll do what you say." the others said.

"Good." George said.

After introducing the gang, George showed Shadow Mavis his house.

"So all of you live here?" Shaodw Mavis wondered.

"Of course. First we started out in a treehouse. It had some memories of us when we were in it. Sadly, some guys named Flim and Flam wanted to kill us, which they destroyed our treehouse while we escaped." George explained.

"Oh, you poor thing!" Shadow Mavis cooed, as she grabbed George into a hug. "Why would some mean villains destroy you?"

"Well, it is kind of a long story. Are you sure you want to hear it?" George asked, as his girlfriend nodded. "Alright, here is it how it goes..."

(George's story is explained in George Cunningham: The Story You Never Knew. Coming Soon.)

Shadow Mavis sniffed into nearby tissues after fully hearing George's and his friends' origin story.

"Yeah. It's for the best. She is your first girlfriend after all.

"Anyway, later guys!" George said, as he left the house.

"Wait! Where are you going?!?" Hort asked.

"I'm going to Manehattan! Shadow Mavis wants to meet me there!" George called.

"But the authorities will get you!" Jack cried.

"Don't worry, guys. I've played the Sly Cooper games before, and I'm sure I won't let anything bad happen between us!" George replied, as he ran off.

"Between us?" Michelle asked.

"That's George, alright." Diddy rolled his eyes.

Manehattan Museum...

George arrived at the entrance of the Manehattan museum. He grabbed on the pipes, and climbed to the top of the museum. He was supposed to meet Shadow Mavis here.

"Where is she?" George wondered.

"Looking for me?" a voice said, as George turned to see Shadow Mavis in a black latex suit.

"Wow. She gorgeous..." George thought, as hearts began to fly around his head.

"If you really are the most dangerous human in existence, you've got to prove it to me first." Shadow Mavis said.

"What will it be?" George asked.

"Just hold on this rope I'm attached to, and when I tug it, you pull me out. OK?" Shadow Mavis planned.

"Okay." George agreed. He watched Shadow Mavis do secret spy-stuff. She got to the jewelry, and removed the crystal that was guarding. She grabbed the jewel, and tugged at the rope. But the alarm went off, red lights were flashing, and sirens approached. George pulled the girl out of the museum, but it was too late, as the cops arrived with Trixie.

"Give it up, thieves!" Trixie shouted from a megaphone. "We have you surrounded! There is no way out!"

"Yeah right! We always get away!" George taunted.

"Really? Comrades, fire!" Trixie shouted, as guards began shooting projectiles at the kids.

"Get behind me!" George said, as Shadow Mavis grabbed him. George did a mega-jump while projectiles were flying. It was going well until a bullet hit Shadow Mavis on her wings.

"OWW!" she cried.

"Shadow Mavis!" George cried, as he landed in the ground. He glared at all the guards, and he sent a huge shockwave that damaged them all. He went to see his friend for damage.

"Where does it hurt?" George asked, as he helped the girl get up.

"In my wings!" she cried.

"Better give up now, or I'll tase her in the weak spot!" Trixie said, before levitating Shadow Mavis, and pointing a taser at the girl.

"Stop!" George called, as he crouched down. "You win."

"No." the girl whispered.

"Hahaha! I told you there's no escape! Get in position now! You can do it with the girl." Trixie said, as she levitated Shadow Mavis to George.

"Why would you surrender for me?" Shadow Mavis asked.

"Why would I leave a fellow thief like you behind? It's not right." George said.

Shadow Mavis smiled as she got up. "Wow. No one has done that for me before."

"Believe me. My buddies have my back." George replied.

"Alright! Time to get them to the Maximum Secuirty Detention Center!" Trixie called, as the guards arrested Shadow Mavis and George Cunningham.

"I'm scared." Shadow Mavis whispered, as she got behind George.

"It'll be fine. We just need to plan to escape." George whispered back, as the two were pushed on a prison cart, and were taken away.
