a BOS Paladin Knight arrives in Equestria for unknown reasons.
Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel from the Capital Wasteland was sent on a lone mission to investigate the strange occurrences around Fort Constantine, but when he arrives, a portal opens up and fell to the land of Equestria. How will he get back home? Will he ever return? That remains to be seen....
(Warning: The MLP characters are humanized but with some traits, such as pesasi having wings and the unicorns, while not having a horn, use magic with their hands. In the skies of the Capital Wasteland, A BOS Vertibird flew by towards north to our destination. My name is Paladin Knight Vaughn, a male Caucasian with pale skin, green eyes, and auburn smooth wave hair. I wear a T-60b Power Armor wielding a 10mm pistol, a 5mm Minigun, a trench knife, a Laser Rifle, and 15 frag grenades. Also with me is a well known Paladin who knew the Vault Dweller himself, Paladin Tristan, and was giving me a debrief.
"Once we drop you off at the LZ, you must continue up the road towards Fort Constantine, there you must investigate the strange occurrences that has been going on for almost 2 months. Also, watch out for the base's military robots and there have been reports that the Outcasts are roaming around that area, so stay sharp." Tristan finishes right before the pilot replies, "Alright, we have arrived at the LZ, sir."
I was about to jump off the Vertibird until Tristan said, "Also radio us once you have finished your investigation, Vaughn."
I responded, "Yes sir."
And with that, I gotten off the Vertibird and watch it flew away back to the Citadel. Afterwards I pulled out my Laser Rifle and continued up the road towards the base.
An hour later...
I arrived at the gates of Fort Constantine. I observed it for a little bit and thought, 'Well this base looks like a perfect outpost for the Brotherhood. I wonder why they haven't set up shop here like they did in other places like Adams Air Force Base, or the Washington Monument.' I thought for a few moments until it was interrupted by a military Protectron engaging me.
I fired at the Protectron at it's 'head' blew off and fell over. I walked over to it and said, "That there was rude of you, you stupid bot." as I gave a chuckle. But then I saw a Military sentry bot engaging at me. I simply said, "Fuck this shit, I'm out." as I ran for cover. The Sentry Bot kept on firing its miniguns until I remembered I have at least 15 grenades. I then threw one at it and blew it right up.
I peeked around the corner and sighed in relief when the sight of what's left of the bot was scattered around. I muttered, "That was too close for my liking. How can this Vault Dweller be able to go through here easily?"
I then scouted the area until he caught a glimpse of something glowing on top of the hill. I thought, 'I think I may have found the 'strange occurrences' in the reports.'
I walked up the hill and found nothing but old cars and a building. I then gets frustrated and said to myself, "Well where the Hell was that glow coming from?"
Like right on cue, a portal opened up right beneath me and fell through yelling, "HOLY SHIIII-"
It was a beautiful, morning day in Ponyville as Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy walked down the street towards Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy said to Twilight, "Thank you for helping me carrying these supplies for the animals."
Twilight smiled and replied, "Of course, I'm always happy to help. It's what friends are for."
They reached the cottage and dropped of the supplies. But then they heard a loud yelling from the edge of the forest.
"-IIIIIT!"
Fluttershy and Twilight came out to see a flock of birds flying away from where the noise came from. Fluttershy whimpered, "Wha-what was th-that?"
"I don't know, but it sounds like someone needs our help." Twilight replied.
Then 4 people came rushing towards them. It was Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity who came to investigate. Dash asks Twilight, "We just heard someone screaming from around here, are you two okay?"
"Yes we're fine. We heard the screams too, and it sounded someone is in trouble." Twilight said.
Applejack said, "Well, we better go an' see what's up."
They all nodded and immediately went into the forest, not knowing what they were about to discover.
I crashed landed in the forest, making a crater in the process. I slowly gotten up with an aching back and regain my footing then I notice that the trees were....alive? I was very confused from this and remember that I just had fallen through an unknown portal. I thought, 'Well this something that I thought I would never see. Real, living trees. Am I in Heaven?'
But then I heard voices, which were all female. I then thought, 'Well at least there are people here.'
As I came out of the crater and out of the dust and smoke, I notice that 6 young adult girls with the face of shock and then what looks like some of them were preparing to fight or to defend themselves. I muttered, "This can't be good at all."
The Mane 6 walked towards the smoking crater and were curious and frightened at the same time. Rainbow Dash said, "Wow. Who or whatever made this crater may not have survived."
Twilight turned towards Dash and said, "Don't be so sure, Dash. Someone might have survived."
Then Fluttershy whimpered, "Uhm, g-girls. Is i-it me, or do I see something moving in the crater?"
The 5 looked towards the crater and heard heavy footsteps with a thud. When it came out of the smoke, it revealed that it was a large metal golem like figure with a multibarrel device of sorts.
Applejack asks, "What in Celestia's name is that there?"
Rainbow Dash replies, "I don't know, but if it attacks, I'm going to kick his metal flank."
Twilight says, "Whatever it is, we have to be prepared if it does attack."
All of the nodded and prepared whatever they were facing.
Wait till the song ends
I was facing 6 girls who looks like they are either about to attack or to defend themselves. I kept my distance and holstered my weapon, hoping that they would eventually speak up. I then heard one of them saying, "Wa-wait! Maybe it's lost and confuse."
I noticed one of them with a light, long pink hair wearing a light yellow and light blue apparel. The others looked at her and the one with purple with a pinkish stripped hair asking, "Are you sure, Fluttershy? This thing maybe dangerous."
I thought, 'Fluttershy, huh. That is a pretty name and it suits her.'
The one named 'Fluttershy' nodded and said, "Yes. I would like to talk to the poor thing, if it's okay with you?"
The lavender girl nodded and let her walk towards me. I noticed the she has light yellow feathered wings on her back. 'Maybe I am in Heaven, and maybe she's one of those angels that the bible described.'
I looked down at her, trying to be less intimidating. She then spoke, "Hi there little guy."
'Little? Really now?' He thought.
She then said, "M-my name is Fluttershy, and these are m-my friends..." as she turned towards the 5. "Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity."
She then turned towards me and said, "We heard screaming from here and we went to inv-investigate the source and we d-don't want to harm anyone or anything. We also d-don't want to harm you."
I was speechless, I mean, what am I suppose to say? I search around me and I noticed a yellow flower, so I knelt down slowly, trying not to scare them and picked the flower and handed to her. She then smile as she accepted the flower and grabbed my hand. I thought, 'I think I just fell in love.'
She then asks me , "What's your name?"
I hesitated, but managed to replied, "I-I'm...uh...I'm Paladin Knight Vaughn, of the Brotherhood of Steel, Miss Fluttershy."
Again she smiled and I noticed the others eased up and came towards me. Usually I'm not really shy or such, but when it comes to meet this much of very kind people, how else would I react?
Fluttershy turned towards her friends, which were congratulating her.
Twilight asks her, "Did it say anything to you? Is he friendly?"
Fluttershy answered, "Yes he is and he did say who he is."
Rainbow Dash asks, "Really? Then who is he?"
She then answered, "He said his name is Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel."
The 5 had their jaws drop when they heard m title. I had to admit, I almost laughed, but forced myself not to. I then thought, 'This may be a very interesting adventure that I have gotten myself into.'

Story of Survival and a Plan for a Brighter Future
I had followed the 6 girls out of the forest into their hometown, 'Ponyville'. When I arrived there, the residence had a look of uneasiness, but quickly went away when they saw I was with these girls. As I went on with these 6, I started to think, 'Is there a way to get back to the others, back to the Capital Wasteland? Am I forever stuck here in this world?'
But then I quickly shook that thought off and planned to worry about it later. We arrived at a treehouse of sorts, which revealed that it was also a library. These 6 were very interesting, like one is very kind, one being generous, besides being a fashion designer, one being honest, one being....well...random, I guess, one being very confident and athletic, and last one being what the others back at the Citadel call an 'egghead', but what I call a genius of sorts.
Anyways, We enter into the library and the one thing I notice was that there was a lot of books, not to mention well too organized. I replied, "That is a lot of books. The Scribes of the Quill may go crazy if they see all of this."
The others giggled and Twilight yelled, "Spike! I'm back. And guess what we found out on the edge of the Everfree?"
Then I saw a young boy, who could be 10 or a little bit older for all I know, came downstairs replying, "What do you me-" He stop at mid-sentence when he saw me in my power armor. 'I swear this actually never gets old, seeing their face like that.' I thought.
Spike stood there, looking at me and asked Twilight, "Uh, Who or what is he or it?"
"His name is Paladin Knight Vaughn and he's with a group known as the...uhm..."
I said, "The Brotherhood of Steel, Miss Sparkle."
She smiled and said, "Thank you, and just call me Twilight."
"Of course Mi-uh...Twilight." I replied.
Spike had his jaw hanging and replied, "Cool."
Twilight asks me, "Do you mind if we call you Vaughn for short?"
"I don't mind if you call me Tin man." I said jokingly.
They giggled at my reply. Twilight asks me if the can ask me some questions. I said, "Yeah, lay them on me."
She then said, "Good. But first I need to send a letter to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Is that all right?"
"Hey, I'm your guest so you can do what ever you want to." I answered.
She nodded and they started on the letter.
Princess Celestia was very stressed out, staring out of the window until Luna came in asking, "Sister? Are you alright?"
Celestia turned to her and responded, "N-no. I have this feeling that something bad is about to happen, but I don't know what."
That's when a letter popped out of nowhere. Celestia picked up the letter and read:
Dear Princess Celestia,
Me and my friends had heard shouting from the edge of the Everfree and soon discovered a metal golem who may be slightly higher than you and turns out he fell through a gateway from his world to ours. He is very friendly do to the fact that he takes a liking towards Fluttershy. I would like for you and Princess Luna to meets him as soon as possible.
From your star pupil,
Twilight Sparkle
She then started to ease up a little with a smile and said to Luna, "I think we have guest to meet in Ponyville."
The Mane 6 sat there around him with Fluttershy sitting next to him. Twilight gotten out a notebook and an...ink and quill? 'Never thought I would see that.' I thought.
Twilight then asks, "Are you ready?"
"Lay them on me." I answered.
"Okay, what is your species called?"
"I'm Human, or if you want to get scientific, Homo Sapiens."
Dash asks, "Does your kind look like metal golems?"
"What? No. This is Power Armor that I'm wearing. Specifically T-60b Series."
Rarity asks, "Power Armor?"
"Basically a mech suit, or mechanized suit that makes me a walking tank. There are other models such as the T-51b's, T-45b's, XO-1's and 2's, Hellfire series and Tesla series."
Fluttershy asks, "Then what do you actually look like? If you don't mind me asking."
"I don't mind, let me take this helmet off." and then I slowly took it off and the others were kinda shocked at what I look like."
Twilight replies, "Wow. You kinda look like us."
"Yeah, and here I thought I died and went to heaven."
Fluttershy ask in a curious manner, "Heaven?"
"In the descriptions from the Holy Bible, it speaks about a place of paradise where no suffering, no pain, no nothing, except for happiness. It is where people with good intentions go when they die either in peace or other. There, you would find the heavenly angels guiding you towards humanity's maker, our God. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the Shepherd and we are the sheep, and he is the Lion and we are the Lamb. He made the Heavens and the Earth as well as all life among it. And his love is everlasting. So even if you or I walk through the Valley of Shadows, you will never fear evil nor death, for He, God, will always be at your side to the very end" I answered.
Everyone was silent in surprise by my answer. Fluttershy then asks, "What are Angels?"
"Angels are the guardians of Heaven's Holy Light and they guide and protect the ones who had lost their way." I answered.
Applejack asks, "What do they look like?"
"They are like humans, but with feathered wings, like Dash and Fluttershy here." I answered.
Dash and Fluttershy was kinda shocked that I had mistaken them as one of the Angels of Heaven, though I still considered them like Angels.
Twilight asks, "Okay, now what is your order's purpose?"
"We, the Brotherhood, devoted our lives searching high-advance technology from before and preserve them so that they don't destroys us again. But from the Elder Lyon's Brotherhood of Steel of the Capital Wasteland, we use some of that technology to help and protect the people of the wastes from Super Mutants, Slavers, Raiders, Enclave Remnants, and such." I answered.
Fluttershy asks, "Wasteland?"
Applejack asks, "From before?"
Rarity asks, "Slavers?
Pinkie Pie asks as she slumped down, "Raiders?"
Dash asks, "Super Mutants?"
Twilight asks, "Enclave?"
I sat there, not knowing what to say, but I eventually sighed and answered, "My world was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and radiation, from the atomic warheads that even 1 alone can wipe out a metropolis and the surrounding area outside the major city, killing everything and everyone in the process."
All of them were shocked by this and Twilight asks, "Why?! Why would your people do such a thing?!"
I sat there in silence with my head lowered. I lifted my head slowly and answered, "War....war never changes."
They sat there in silence and I continued, "Since the dawn of humankind, when our ancestors found the killing power of rock and bone, blood had been spilled in the name for everything. From God, to justice, to simple psychotic rage. There are those of course that have attempted to prevent wars and conflicts, but eventually became unavoidable. The once known nation that I was from was know as the U.S.A., the United States of America, was born after a war for Independence and to escape the Tyranny of another. Over the years, America only fought in wars against others in the name for Freedom, for religion, retaliation, to protect other people from other nations that are threaten by their own leaders, as well as their own people, to abolish slavery, and to destroy the very corruption of men."
They all were listening very closely as I continued, "But after a millennia of armed conflict, the world itself couldn't take it anymore, that's when we tried to destroy ourselves with our own weapons of mass destruction. But the apocalypse was not really the sign of the end of the world , instead it became another bloody chapter of human history."
Twilight asks, "What do you mean?"
"In the early days, thousands were spared by this holocaust by taking refuge in enormous underground shelters known as Vaults, but when they emerged, they only have the Hell of the Wastes to greet them. So here we are, after 200 years since that event on October 23rd, 2077, we are still roaming around, still trying to slowly build back up and hopefully end any conflict once and for all. We are not really there yet, not even close." I ended the story.
Fluttershy came closer and said, "Don't worry, we can help you get this through and look to a better future maybe."
Dash shot up cheering, "YEAH!! Don't worry, we got your back."
Twilight said, "Yes, you are a friend of ours now and around here, friends help each other out until the problem is solved."
Pinkie Pie jumped and cheered, "I CAN EVEN THROW YOU A PARTY!"
I was not expecting this to happen, to just have them jump in and help someone from another dimension that they just met. I smiled and and said, "Thank you very much, usually people that I even know wouldn't jump in immediately like you guys did."
I Then picked up my helmet and put it on then all of the sudden, there was a knocking on the door. I saw Spike ran up to the door to answer it, then Spike came back a tall woman and a darker and younger woman. Spike yelled, "It's the Princesses! They came to see the new guest!"
Me and the Mane 6 came down stairs and Twilight cheered, "Princess Celestia! Princess Luna! It's good to see here!"
They smile and Celestia said, "Of course. We were eager to meet your guest."
Luna followed, "Yes, and where is thou guest?"
I thought, 'Huh, never thought I would hear someone speaking medieval style.'
Twilight answered, "He's right here." pointing at my general direction.
I stepped forward and saluted them, which confused them. I said, "Sorry, that was a salute, basically my way of showing you respect."
They smiled and Celestia said, "It is quite alright. I am Princess Celestia, and this is my younger sister, Princess Luna. But you may referred to us as Celestia and Luna."
I nodded and replied, "It is an honor to meet you two."
Luna asks, "May we know who you are?"
I nodded again and answered, "I am Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel."
I sat there, exclaiming to the Princesses about my world, my order, and other things that I have already explained to the others about, like about Heaven, God, Angels, and as well as my origins, events, and my order. As I finished, Celestia was staring at the BOS emblem on my chest and she asks, "What is that emblem there on your chest?"
"It is the symbol of the Brotherhood of Steel." I answered but then realizes why she asked.
"You know something about it, don't you?" I asked.
Celestia and Luna looked at each other for a moment, then looked at me and said, "It is best to show all of you. Come."
Me and the Mane 6 followed them into the forest and later came upon an old ruins of sorts.
We went into the ruins and Celestia and Luna stopped and Luna pulled on a lever of sorts that was a torch as well, revealing a secret doorway. I've noticed that the Mane 6 were surprised at this and ask Twilight, "Let me guess, You and your friends never knew about this, right?"
She nodded and we continued onward down a flight of stairs. We came upon a chamber and Celestia lit up the entire place, revealing a shocking surprise. A tanned glass window showing the very symbol of the Brotherhood and below it was....wait, me? The image of me facing some sort of dark entities and with me are the Mane 6.
I even saw that the Mane 6 was more shocked than I am. I looked at both Luna and Celestia and asked, "Wha-what is all this?"
Celestia sighed and answered, "A prophecy, Paladin."
Twilight asks, "Of what?"
Celestia replied, "In our early years, When we were fillies, our parents had told us a story about a prophesied hero known as the 'Knight of Steel.' It foretells that when Equestria is being threaten by a powerful darkness, this hero appears from a gate to his home world and defends the innocence of all. A darkness so powerful, that even the Elements of Harmony may fail to succeed. But with the hero's aid and the Elements, together they would defeat the coming darkness that stalks upon the helpless."
I knew where this was going, but still could not believe it. I then asked, "Are you saying that I'm the very hero who will saves your kingdom?"
Luna answers, "Not just our kingdom, but the entire world of Equis, sir knight."
The Mane 6 and I had our jaws dropped from that what Luna said. 'Saving the world of harmony from a powerful darkness, I thought that was the Vault Dweller's job.' I thought.
We stood there, staring at the the 'prophecy' window of sorts until Celestia asks, "Paladin Knight Vaughn, will you be able to stay here and protect all of us?"
Everyone was looking upon me, waiting for an answer. I thought for a moment, then finally answered, "Where do I begin?"
The Princesses took me and the six to their capital, Canterlot, to meet Princess Cadence and her husband, which I found out is also Twilight's big brother, Shining Armor. We arrived their by Celestia teleporting us there and it was a weird experience. I look around me and thought, 'We must be in some sort of a palace.'
From what I was able to gather, Princess Cadence was known as the Princess of Love, considering she can easily sense if anyone is in love or something of the sorts. I then thought, 'Someone who can sense love from anyone is something I never expected.'
We wander through the halls for a bit and of course the 'Royal Guards' thought I was some sort of monster, but until the Princesses notified them immediately. Then we came up to a woman, which I figured was Princess Cadence, and all of a sudden, Twilight and Cadence greeted each other by singing something about ladybugs or something.
Cadence said to Twilight, "It is so good to see you, Twilight."
Twilight smiled and replied, "Same here, Cadence! Wait? Where's my BBBFF at?"
"Right here, little sis!"
She smiled and hugged who I presume was Shining Armor. I was standing there with a confuse look on my face, if it weren't for the helmet on my head, thinking, 'BBBFF? And what's with that singing about ladybugs about?'
Applejack noticed it and said to me, "Cadence was Twilight's favorite foalsitter an' BBBFF stands for 'Best Big Brother Friend Forever', Mr. Vaughn."
I nodded and answered, "Ah, I see. That actually explains it. Thank you, Applejack."
"Think nothin' of it." She replied.
Princess Cadence notices me followed by Shining Armor and asks me, "And who are you, strange creature?"
I stepped up, saluted, and answered, "I'm Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel, your highness."
Shining asks me, "Brotherhood of Steel?"
I answered, "We scavenge throughout the Wastes for high-advance technology, study and learn their purpose, and keep them from falling into the wrong hands and destroying all of us again. But from the Brotherhood lead by Elder Lyons, our leader, we use some of the technology like this power armor that I'm wearing and the weapons I use to protect the people who tries to survive day to day from threats like Super Mutants, Raiders, Slavers, and the like. The saying in the Brotherhood is that 'The only Salvation this tortured planet and it's people have. Without us, Humanity is sure to perish.' But on Elder Lyons' word, I will carry his orders and do what I can to protect the people who needs us the most."
Princess Cadence and Shining Armor were surprised b my answer. But then Cadence asks me, "Then how and why are you here, far from these wastes that you speak of?"
I answered, "Well it all started when I was being sent on a lone mission to investigate the strange occurrences that was happening for almost 2 months at the abandoned base known as Fort Constantine. There, I was almost gotten killed by 2 of the many robots that occupy the fort like the Protectron, which was not really a threat, and the Sentry Bot, which was a really big threat, and then afterwards, I investigated throughout the base and then all of a sudden, a portal opened up right under me and that is how I arrived here in your world."
Again, they were surprised by this except a little less of out it. Shining then asks me, "So you have no intentions to harm us or the sort?"
I responded, "Even if I knew how to get here, harming innocent people goes against my codes of the Brotherhood. We exist to protect the innocent, not to harm them."
"I see, well if my sister and her friends trusts you, as well as the Princesses, then I will trust you too, Paladin." Shining answered.
As Fluttershy flew up to hug me for being respectful and truthful to them, Cadence said, "And I had a feeling that you having a crush on Fluttershy. And I gotta say, you two kinda make a good couple." as she ended with a giggle.
Fluttershy's cheeks glowed a rose-red color after hearing what Cadence just said. I thought, 'I was not expecting that.'
I don't know what to say and was forced to only respond back by rubbing my hand against the back of my head while Fluttershy rubbing her arm as a sign of shyness. The others were a little surprised by this but not as much considering they kinda knew I had taken a liking towards Fluttershy.
Cadence giggle again and said, "I guess I should of thought before I spoke, sorry."
I was about to respond until Fluttershy said, "I-it's alright. I guess this was bound to happen. But never thought it would be someone like him...." as then she turned towards me and said, ".....I-I mean tha-that uh....uhm..."
I knelt to her and said, "I knew what you actually meant. You were never expecting someone from a different dimension, who is a fighter like me, would fall in lo-love with you, with your kindness, your beautiful eyes, and all of that. If you just want to be just friends, then I understand."
Fluttershy then hugs me and said, "I....uhm...I actually like you too, Vaughn. You're very kind and caring as well."
That is when my heart stopped for a brief moment when she told me. I didn't know what to say or even think, except by nodding and...well hugs! After that moment, Celestia came up to me and said, "That was a very heart-warming moment and I hate it to end it but we came here to see your past, the events that you've been through."
I nodded and said, "Of course, but how will you do that? Do you have a machine to do that?"
Celestia said, "No, we have magic but from what we have learned, magic does not exist in your world and instead, you use technology as a substitute, right?"
I said, "Well not for everything, but yeah, more or less. But since this is not the world I'm from, the possibility of this world having magic is probably 50/50, so I'll have to go along with it."
She nodded and said, "When you're ready, let us know."
I took a deep breath and said, "Do it."
In a flash, Celestia, Luna, the Mane 6, Cadence, and Shining appeared on top of some cliff near what looks like a road of sorts. Over the horizon, they see before them is the Capital Wasteland.
Below, they see a young boy with pale skin, green eyes, and auburn hair, searching in a storage of a machine with wheels on the side of the road, but then a group of 5 people wearing power armor came and notice the boy. Two guys was wearing T-45 b's and two wearing T-51 b's. The fifth man was wearing a similar t-60b that Vaughn was wearing. The one in the T-60b came up to the boy, who notices them, and asks, "Excuse me, but what are you doing out here, alone? Where are your parents?"
The boy answered, "I don't have any parents, never knew them. And I was scavenging for something useful to use. Who are you guys?"
The man in T-60b was silent and then said, "We're with the Brotherhood of Steel. Do you want to come with us? I really don't want to leave you here all alone without no one to take care of you."
The boy looked at him with wide eyes and said, "Really!? Why would you want me to come with you?"
"Well Elder Lyons gave an order to us that when we find any children and that they are willing to go with, then we should bring them and train them to become a member of the Brotherhood. So what do you say? Would you like to come with us?"
The boy cheered and answered, "Yes, of course I would!"
The other 5 of them laugh from the boy's enthusiasm and the guy asks the boy, "What is your name?"
The boy answered, "My name is Vaughn."
The ten of them were shocked when they found out that the boy was Vaughn himself. Then a flash came and they were at a different location and they concluded they were in a courtyard. They saw Vaughn being congratulated for passing his training by a man in a bluish robe. Vaughn was now older and at the age of 19 years. There also stood 3 sets of power armor: a T-45b, a T-51b, and a T-60b. They overheard the man in the robes talking to Vaughn, "Congratulations on your training, Vaughn. You have earned the title of Paladin Knight and you get to choose which of these three you want to have."
Vaughn stood there for a moment and picked the T-60b Power armor. The man nodded and showed Vaughn a table with weapons on them. The man then said, "Now choose 4 weapons that you want to have."
Vaughn picked the multibarrel device that the 10 found out to be called a 'Minigun', a metallic object called a 'Laser Rifle', a trench knife, and a small gray device which is called a '10mm Pistol.'
The man nodded and shook Vaughn's hand and said, "May Steel be with you, Paladin Knight Vaughn."
The man continued, "Ever since Knight Sergeant Wilson and his squad came back with you, I did not know what to think except that now I am glad that they did, for I see greatness within you and I do trust that you will not disappoint."
Vaughn answered, "Do not worry, Elder Lyons. I will not fail you or the Brotherhood. You can count on me." He ended with a salute.
Then another flash came and they were in the middle of the ruins of the city. They see Vaughn, now wearing his T-60b, and a few others that are with the Brotherhood was mowing down the large, brutish yellow beasts with his 'Minigun.' Twilight thought back when they first met Vaughn and was wielding his 'Minigun' and the fact he put it away, making himself unarmed, kinda. She thought, 'At least he didn't try to attack us with his weapon.'
Her train of thought was interrupted by one of the yellow beasts yelling, "DIE METAL MAN!"
Then was immediately mowed down by Vaughn. Then everything was silent until one of the Brotherhood member said, "This area is clear of Super Mutants now. Is anyone injured?"
Vaughn replied, "Nada."
The others replied with a 'no' and with that, Vaughn and the others went on with their patrol. Then another flash came upon the ten and then was fighting a bunch of people wearing some sort of power armor which was later revealed as the 'Enclave.' Vaughn killed off the last of them and inspected them. Another Brotherhood member came up to Vaughn and asks, "Who the Hell are they? What the Hell are they wearing?"
Vaughn answered, "Enclave. It has to be, considering the are wearing XO-2's, as well as the Hellfire and Tesla series. And look, they have a more advanced weaponry. It looks like they use plasma."
The other members started to chattered and the one who came up to Vaughn asks, "Please tell me you are joking..."
Vaughn replied, "I'm afraid not."
Then another flash came and the ten were at some sort of a building with pipes and such. They noticed a lot of Enclave troops in the area and then a large metal golem, followed by the members of the Brotherhood, plus Vaughn. They also noticed a young man with some sort of a device on his wrist and wearing a blue and yellow jumpsuit, which had a big '101' on his back. He was also followed by a dog and a slightly different and also friendly Super Mutant. They heard the giant metal golem quoting, "COMMUNISTS DETECTED ON AMERICAN SOIL, LETHAL FORCE ENGAGE."
They then heard Vaughn quoting, "I'm glad he is on our side, at least."
Then the young man with '101' said, "Same here dude, same here."
Vaughn nodded and together continued up towards the building. Then another flash came and the ten are now somewhere with a lot of concrete, as well as buildings. They saw Vaughn, again, mowing down Enclave troops with his fellow members following behind him.
Vaughn yells out, "To arms, brothers, to arms!"
After they eliminated all the Enclave troops, Vaughn notices a female Enclave scientist cowering behind an old military truck. One of the members was about to fire until Vaughn said, "Wait! I think she's trying to surrender. Look."
They realizes this and the ten heard the scientist saying, "Please, don't shoot! I surrender. I'll do anything to help you defeat the Enclave. Besides, after what the Enclave have done to all those innocent people, I rather be on your side than theirs."
Vaughn nodded and said to one of his fellow members, "Contact one of the Vertibirds we've capture and tell them we have a surprise guest who is willing to help us fight against the Enclave and that not to shoot her, got it?"
"Got it, sir." a member replied.
Vaughn turned towards the scientist and said, "Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll get to the Citadel safely so that you can start helping our Scribes with the Enclave tech. You have my word as a Paladin Knight. What is your name?"
The scientist looked up and replied, "Thank you, thank you so much! And my name is Mary. You?"
"Vaughn. It is nice to meet you, Mary." he answered.
Then a flying, metal thing that was known as a 'Vertibird' arrived and the Vaughn and Mary climbed aboard and flew off. The the ten were overcame by a white flash and showed that Vaughn was walking up towards a gate to a facility. Vaughn stood there for a few moments until he was being attack by a metal man. Vaughn shot it's 'head' off, then walked up to it and said, "That there was rude of you, you stupid bot."
But then he was attacked by a more menacingly metal man and heard Vaughn replying, "Fuck this shit, I'm out." He ran for cover and stayed in cover until he pulled out a strange object. He pulled a pin off of it and threw it at the metal man and it blew up. He peeked around the corner and sighed in relief. He muttered, "That was too close for my liking. How can this Vault Dweller be able to go through here so easily."
The ten notices a glow on top of the hill and saw Vaughn going up towards it. He stood there to find nothing and said, "Well where the Hell was that glow coming from?"
Then a portal opened up right under Vaughn with him yelling, "HOLY SHIIII-"
After the memory ended, there they stood, back at the palace, staring at Vaughn with surprise. Vaughn simply said, "Sweet Jesus! This headache is extremely bad. Does anyone have something for this headache?"
After they gave Vaughn something for his headache, Celestia said to Vaughn, "You surely have endured all that time and not gave in to the violences that had taken over your world."
"Of course. You can't really give up when there are people depending on you." He answered.
Shining asks, "Who were those men that were with you?"
I answered, "My squad. We treat each other like we're family more than squad members."
"Really? Why?" Shining asks with courteousness.
I replied, "There is an old saying we use, 'If you treat your men as if they are your beloved sons, then they will follow you to the deepest valley of the world.' I use this not just because of loyalty, but because we've been through a lot together and having closest friends is better then having people you rarely know about in your squad, which I really care for."
Shining nodded and smiled at my answer. In-fact, all of them are happy with my answer. I thought, 'I guess they learned more about me than I learned more about them.'
I smiled at that thought until a guard came running up, exhausted. Celestia asks, "What's wrong?"
He said, "The Changelings are attacking Canterlot, your highness."
Everyone was panicking because of the 'Changeling' attack. I stood there for a moment, then asked, "What's a 'Changeling'?"
Celestia answered, "They are bug-like creatures that can be able to shape-shift into anyone and feed on love, literally."
"They can shape-shift AND feed on love!? Jesus Christ, and I thought the Super Mutants were bad, but this?!" I replied.
I stood there for another moment,sighed, and then said, "Well I guess it's time to show them what for, right?"
I equipped myself with the minigun when Celestia asks, "Are you sure? You never faced them before."
I answered, "If I'm able to defeat the upcoming darkness that you talked about, then I am able to take these guys down easily, besides I face Deathclaws that are far worst than these freaks."
I continued to walk out until I stopped, turned around and said, "Also, you might get this city evacuated for the time being, cause this here is going to make a hell of a mess."
They nodded and the Mane 6, along with Shining and a large group of guards, followed me into the city.
I arrive in the city with people evacuated to somewhere safe and seeing the Changelings charging at us. I raised my minigun at them, then turned to Shining and said, "You guys might want to stay behind me, because I really don't want a friendly fire. You know, so that I won't accidentally injured you guys, plus it will be easier to know who's friend or foe."
He nodded and ordered his guards to stay behind me. I then look at the Changelings, who stopped because of my presence, yelling, "In the name of Steel, die, you filthy monsters!"
I then started my minigun and started to mow them down while I slowly advance onward with the Mane 6 and Shining and his guards. There were a lot of these guys coming at me but did not stand a chance.
Queen Chrysalis was present, watching her army charging into the city, on how she gotten her army into the city, is when she has some of her Changelings disguised as guards and opened the gates while the army was able to charge in. She was proud of it, until she heard a strange noise, which was coming closer and closer. She muttered, "What in Tartarus is that?"
Then a Changeling came up and said, "Th-they have some kind of metal golem with a weapon of sorts, killing all of the troops, your highness!"
Chrysalis was shocked, then became angered by this. But quickly went away when she saw the metal golem herself. She then threw an attack spell at the creature.
"Watch out, Vaughn!" Dash yelled out.
Then I was hit by a blast that made me felt like I was hit by a missile. I recovered and looked at my attacker and notice that it was a leader of some kind.
"Queen Chrysalis! I thought you learned your lesson by now." Dash yelled out.
I thought, 'A queen!? Terrific, just fucking terrific!'
Chrysalis hissed, "I would have won if it weren't for your pet!"
I simply said, "Well aren't you a fucking bitch! And I have a name, you know!"
Chrysalis was shocked at my response and asks, "Who are you?"
"I am Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel, and here are your choices. One, you can go back where you came from and never come back or two, I kill you where you stand. So what's it going to be?" I replied as I raised my minigun.
She thought for a moment and then said, "Fine! You may win this time, but I will return!"
She then disappear in a snap as well as the other Changelings. Every guard cheered and greeted me as a hero of sorts. I thought, 'This maybe over, but the overall isn't.'
The Mane 6 came up to me in either excitement or uncertainty. Dash cheered, "That was awesome!! You were taking down waves of those Changelings like they were nothing!"
Twilight asks, "How were you able to easily shrug off Chrysalis' attack like that?"
I answered, "Well for one, this power armor I'm wearing is built to withstand a lot of attacks like that, except not exactly like that, but still, and two, it felt like a missile hit me, and I've been hit by those a lot."
Fluttershy came up and ask me, "Are you alright?! Are you hurt?!"
I responded, "Yes Fluttershy, I'm alright."
Rarity came up and said, "Your suit may be hideous, no offense, but it really is durable as you say it is."
Shining Armor came up to me and said, "Well I got to admit, you really are an outstanding soldier, Vaughn."
I replied, "Thank you sir."
Then Celestia, Luna, and Cadence came up to me and the others. Celestia asks, "How were you able to convince Chrysalis to leave peacefully?"
I answered, "Well besides being a walking war machine that took out almost an entire army, I really don't know."
I then asked Celestia, "Have they done this before? Like this kind of an attack?"
Celestia answered, "No, not completely. They done similar attacks but not as well planned out like this."
I stood there for a moment, then concluded, "Then there's something else at work, but who?"
Chrysalis came back to the Hive with anger and hatred against the one named, 'Vaughn'. Her trained of thought was interrupted by a voice. "So, how the....invasion turned out?" an old man asked.
"It was going very smoothly until those Bearers of Harmony brought a large, talking metal golem with a weapon similar to your soldiers are carrying." Chrysalis answered.
"Did it say anything? Did it say who it is?" asked the old man.
Chrysalis answered, "Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel."
The old man stood there in silent, then said, "Interesting. Maybe you want to hear my strategy, Chrysalis?"
Within the city of Rapture was the first Elite Alpha Series doing it's routine with his Little Sister, Maria. This Alpha Series, like Subject Delta, was one of the few more successful Big Daddies throughout Rapture with a name of Subject Omega, and also like Delta, wields a drill but looks more like what the Elite Bouncer would have. His Little Sister has brown hair with a ponytail, just like Eleanor, Little Sister of Delta, with a rose red dress and was singing about angels. Omega listens closely as he watches his Little Sister gathering Adam from a corpse. As she finishes, a portal opens up was was sucking them in. She yells out, "Daddy!? Help!"
Omega reacted immediately and grab onto her but was instead sucked in as well and then was gone. The two Splicers that have witness it was frozen in shock until one of them said, "I really need to stop drinking this stuff." as he pulled out an empty whiskey bottle. The other Splicer just did a face palm as his response to his statement.
In Ponyville, a day after the attack...
I was at Fluttershy's cottage, helping Fluttershy attending to her animals. I was of course kicked by Angel Bunny and my reaction was, "Hey!? What was that for?"
Fluttershy notices this and responds, "Angel Bunny! Be nice to Vaughn, he is a guest and should treat him as one."
Angel crossed his arms as his response with an expression of what you call a 'grump.' I ask Fluttershy, "Does he usually act like this because I don't think bunnies just kick random people like that, from what I've learned."
Fluttershy answered, "Well, yes. He doesn't really trust anyone he just met."
I responded, "Huh, fair point. If I was a bunny, I wouldn't trust someone wearing scary power armor."
Fluttershy was about to say something until was interrupted by a young girl screaming then followed by a crash sound from the forest. We both went outside to see what it was only to see dirt and dust blown up into the air. I responded, "We might need to go in there to see what's up."
Fluttershy responded, "Wha-what about the girls?"
"I doubt that they wouldn't hear that crash at least, besides, we need to get there before some dangerous creature gets there first." I answered.
"O-okay." she replied.
Then me and Fluttershy went into the forest to meet someone or something that we may never expect to meet.
Omega was on his back with Maria in top of him, safe and sound. He moaned, *Thank God she's okay, but where are we?*
Maria slowly woke up and her first reply was, "D-daddy? Where are we?"
Omega replied, *I don't really know, sweetheart.*
But then there was growling from the bush then the beasts relieved themselves was made out of..wood? Omega said to Maria, *Stay behind me, Maria.* as he readied his drill. Maria ran behind Omega when one of the beasts charged at them until a large metal man rammed into it. Then all of the sudden, the metal man pulled out a large minigun was about to open fire until a pink hair girl foated to him quickly saying, "Wa-wait! Let me try something without using violence."
"Are you sure Fluttershy?" The metal man asks.
"Yes." the one named 'Fluttershy' said.
The metal man just nodded and then Fluttershy floated over and quietly talked to them and then all of a sudden, the beasts went away back into the forest. They heard the metal man responding, "Wow."
Omega thought, 'Well it's good to know that there are those that want to help us.'
Me and Fluttershy turned towards to the unknown stranger when I said, "But wait, was their a little girl scream as well?"
"H-hello?"
We then looked down towards the yellow eyed girl with a rose red dress peeking out from behind her guardian. Fluttershy floated down towards her as the little girl came out from hiding who said, "Are you an angel?!" as she gets excited. I then notice that her guardian eased up right when she said it. Fluttershy looked at me and I responded, "Well I did say you looked like one, didn't I?"
Fluttershy then blushes at the comment I made, then she turned toward the little girl and ask, "What's your name sweetie?"
"My name is Maria and this is my daddy, Omega." She answered.
I ask, "This is your dad?! Wow! I bet no one would mess with you or him."
Maria asks, "Who you two?"
"I'm Fluttershy." she answered.
I answered, "I'm Paladin Knight Vaughn of the Brotherhood of Steel, and it's good to meet you, Maria and Omega. Welcome to Equestria, Land of Harmony."
Omega asks something but in a moaning sound that I didn't understand but Fluttershy did.
"W-well, yes, because here we don't have any real violence but we still have bad people wanting to hurt others." Fluttershy answered.
Omega gave another moaning but with the sound of surprise. Maria asks, "You know what my daddy is saying?!"
Fluttershy answered, "Well, yes. I can even understand animals and communicate with them."
I add, "Which kinda explains how you were able to talk to those wooden wolves to leave peacefully."
She nodded at my response and continued, "Let us bring you to my cottage, the Everfree is the most dangerous place to be at right now."
Omega moaned in agreement and Maria answered, "Okay, lets go Mr. Bubbles." as she let out a giggle.
Somewhere else in the Everfree.....
"Take your men and prepare for an assault on their little, puny town when the the sun hits on the horizon when it sets. Fail this task and you shall be executed, do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, General Deathshead." answered the commander.
"Good. Now get to it then, for you are waisting time."
The radio communication ended and the commander ordered his men to get into their positions, unaware of the three young girls who quickly gotten away after they watched the whole thing.
Back at the cottage....
It has been a couple of hours since the event and the rest of the Mane 6 arrived to meet the new strangers. Twilight was able to cast a spell to help Omega to be able to talk. Omega was explaining about their origins after half an hour....
"So wait, you're saying that you are from an underwater city underneath the middle of the Atlantic and then a portal opens up and sucked both of you in into this world?" I asked.
"Yes, something like that." answered Omega. He added, "Sorry, I'm still trying to get used to being able to talk."
Twilight answered, "It's alright, I know you'll get used to it eventually."
I added, "Well it's good to know at least that I'm not the only one who is from a different world."
Omega asks, "Wait, you're from another world too?"
"Yeah, but not from yours though. I'm from a world scorch by war, but from what I've learned from this 'Rapture', I guess it's just as bad as to where I'm from, just not on dry land and not affected by radiation or the sorts." I answered
But then the door swung open and then three young girls, who might be the same age as Maria, came in with fear in there eyes. The one with the red bow said, "We jus' saw somethin' tha-" she stopped in mid-sentence when they saw me and Omega.
Applejack asks, "What's wrong girls?"
The one with wings answered, "We just heard from these people in this black and red uniforms that they were going to attack Ponyville!"
I stepped in and ask, "Did you see anything like a symbol or the like?"
They remain quite until Rainbow Dash said, "Don't worry, he's with us. He won't bite."
The last one who hadn't spoke up asks, "Do you have a piece of paper and a red crayon?"
Fluttershy went to get the paper and the crayon and came back with them. She gave her them and she began to draw. After she finished, my reaction was of horror. "No. No it couldn't be."
Twilight asks, "Do you know this symbol, Vaughn?"
"Around the 1940's, during the Second World War, The United States face a nation that have murdered, slaughtered, and butchered a nation upon nation's number of innocent people that is a Holocaust. They have many names like the Krauts and the Third Riech. I've never faced them before and hoped that it remains that way...."
They all gasped in horror at the description i gave them.
Rarity asks, "Wh-who are they?" in horror.
I looked towards them and answered, "The Nazi Empire."
Me and Omega were preparing for the fight against these Nazis and also evacuated the entire town. Of-course Omega had send Maria with them but the Mane 6 stayed with us. The sun was setting and we have waited for a few hours, then they arrived, though I was not expecting that these Nazis where more advance than I thought.
I said, "These Nazis must have came from an alternate dimension if these guys are more advance with technology. A world where they actually won the war. God help us all."
Omega replied, "So it may seems to be."
Rainbow Dash asks me, "And who are the big guys?"
I looked where she pointed towards to see that they have super soldiers with them. I responded, "They're super soldiers. Great just fucking great. Things couldn't get any worse."
But then a mechanical roar erupted and then a mechanical beast came charging in at me.
I sighed and responded, "I really need to stop saying that."
I quickly holstered my laser rifle and grabbed on to the upper and lower part of its mouth preventing it from trying to bite me in two. But then I was saved by Omega, who shoved his drill into the head of this mechanical beast, killing it instantly.
"Thanks." I responded.
"No problem."
I pulled out my laser rifle and started to shoot at the bastards. Omega, it turns out, was using some sort of powers like electricity and, of-course, drilling into the Nazis. One of the super soldiers gotten a hold onto Rainbow Dash by her neck and was about to shoot him until a...kunai came out of nowhere into the super soldier's head. I looked towards where the source was and it turns out it was a yellow and black ninja. He then pulled his kunai, shouting, "GET OVER HERE!" It tore the super soldier's head off and he fell dropping Dash, who was gasping for air. I shouted towards Dash, "Hey, are you alright!?"
"Yes *cough* I'm fine. Thanks for the *cough* help."
"That wasn't me that was the ninja's doing!" I shouted out.
She then noticed the 'ninja' that saved her, who was also walking towards her. He lended a hand to help her up he said, "The fight is not over, so there will be no rest until then."
Dash responded, "Uhm, thanks. Who are you?"
He responded, "I am Scorpion."
But then a spear of sorts came out of nowhere, killing one of the Nazis in an instant. I looked towards the source and what I saw was a surprise. A denizen of the the City of the Dead that surrounds the Sierra Madre Casino. I heard about the stories about that place but never really believed it to be true.
I said, "Okay how many more people that are going to show up!"
I just shook my head and continued on killing Nazis.
A few hours later....
Me, the Mane 6, Omega, Scorpion, and the Ghost Seeker, who was friendly for some reason, stood there in victory with all of the Nazis defeated. Only one of them was alive but was wounded. I walked towards him a grabbed him, asking, "Who sent you?!"
The 'commander' answered, "Ge-General Deathshead."
We all stood there in silence until the 'commander continued, "Might as well kill me right now, because if I even return in defeat, they would have execute me on site."
I stood there, thinking for a moment, then replied, "No. you will be sparred, but you will tell us everything when we get to the Capital, Canterlot. Is that understood?"
"Y-yes sir." he answered.
Then right on cue, the Royal Guards showed up to investigate what was happening, only to be greeted by the Mane 6. I brought the 'commander' over to them, saying, "Take him into custody. We're going to ask him questions when we arrive at Canterlot."
One of them answered, "Of-course, sir knight."
They left with the 'commander' and then I asked to the two new 'friends', "And who are you two?"
"My name is Scorpion, but I need to get back to my world."
I nodded and turned towards the Ghost Seeker and said, "I know you but not personally. I know that you are from a place known as the City of the Dead that surrounds the Sierra Madre Casino, one of the denizens."
Applejack came up and asked, "So wait? This here feller is from your world?"
I answered, "Yes but from the other side of the continent. I am from the Eastern coast while he or she is near the Western coast, somewhere in the old state of Nevada, miles away from New Vegas. I heard legends and stories about that place but never considered real."
Rainbow Dash asked, "What's so special about this casino anyway?"
"Legends tell that the Sierra Madre Casino was finished of being built, but never opened. That means that the cash and loot was never cracked open because of the bombs that fell and of the City of the Dead that surrounds it. It has said that there is still gold bars, jewels, and riches still waiting to be looted, but never has, as far as I know." I answered.
Almost all of them, even Rarity and Dash are wide eyed, about the legend about the Sierra Madre.
Twilight asked, "So do you know what this thing is called?"
"I think this one is called a 'Ghost Seeker', I don't know." I concluded.
"Okay, we need to head to Canterlot, but is there a way to get there, Twilight?" I asked.
Twilight answered, "By train, but it will take us a few hours."
"Alright let's just get there, cause we really need to find some answers from the Nazi commander we caught earlier." I concluded
"Lets get going then. I still need to keep practicing on my stunts." Dash said.
Back in the Wasteland, in the Commonwealth in 2281....
A BOS Scribe came up to the bridge of the Prydwen came up to the Elder to give his report...
"Elder Maxson, remember that 'strange occurrence that cause Paladin Knight Vaughn cause to disappear years ago?"
"Yes, why?" Maxson asked.
"It is happening again, except here in the Commonwealth. In-fact, it appears to be a portal that is big enough for the Prydwen to go through and is located in the sky near the Sanctuary Hills settlement."
Maxson turned towards the scribe with the expression of surprise on his face. he then ordered, "Well let's go through it then. If Paladin Knight Vaughn is still alive, we maybe able to find him and bring him back home."
I was at Fluttershy's cottage, getting ready to go to Canterlot until I asked Fluttershy, "Wait, how am I going to fit into the train in my power armor? I doubt I would fit in the passenger carts or whatever you call it."
"Uhm, I didn't think about that, uhm...." Fluttershy answered until Dash came in.
"Uh, Vaughn. You might want to see this." Dash said.
We came out and what we saw was a big surprise. An airship with the BOS emblem on it.
(instead of them saying commonwealth, they would have said 'this settlement' instead and instead 'do not interfere', it would be 'do not fear')
I stood out there with the Mane 6, the Ghost Seeker, Scorpion, Omega, and Maria, who came back, looking at this sight of the Brotherhood's arrival when I said, "Well it's good to know that there are more reinforcements now, right?"
Scorpion asked, "So you know these warriors?"
"Yes. They are known as the Brotherhood of Steel, and I'm with them." I answered.
Omega asked, "And what was that big, metal being that they have up there on their airship?"
I looked closer and it reveals that they have Liberty Prime with them. I gave a joyous cheer, "Ah hell yeah! Liberty Prime is in the house, people. The Nazis won't know what hit 'em."
"Liberty Prime?" They asked me.
"Remember the big metal guy from my memories? That's him, except this one is newer because the one you saw in my memories was destroyed in battle." I answered to the Mane 6.
"Awesome!" Dash shouted.
"Interesting." Omega said.
"Is he mean?" Maria asked.
I answered, "He won't hurt anyone except for the enemy, which he assumes are communists soldiers, not people like you, Maria."
She smiled and said, "Okay." as she looked back up towards the airship.
I caught glimpse of the name of the airship, which was known as the 'Prydwen' and I thought, 'Interesting.'
We then noticed a Vertibird flying around us before landing. I noticed that the Ghost Seeker and Scorpion became cautious but I said to them, "Stand down. Like I said, I am one of them, so let me do the talking, alright? We don't want to fight another faction, we are already fighting against the Nazis."
Scorpion and the Ghost Seeker nodded and stood down and when I looked back, the Vertibird landed and came out was a suppose Elder, who was guarded by two Paladins, one with a Gatling Laser and the other a scoped Laser Rifle, and there was also three Scribes, which I assume they are from each of the Order they served."
I took off my helmet and saluted the suppose Elder, asking, "I should guess that you're the Elder?"
"Yes, and are you Paladin Knight Vaughn?" the Elder asked.
"Yes sir." I answered.
"And do you remember you're little buddy, Squire Maxson, from the Citadel?" He asked.
"Yes, why do you a....." I stop in mid-sentence when the realization hitted me like a Deathclaw rammed into me. He gave me a smile when I stopped mid-sentence.
"Max?! Is that you?!" I asked.
He answered, "Yep, and I still see you're still kicking ass, from what has happened here."
I ran up and gave hug and said, "You little squirt! I didn't recognize you!" as I put him down.
He laughed and responded, "It's good to see you too." as we made a 'brofist'.
One of the Paladins asked Elder Maxson, "Wait, you know him, sir?"
He answered, "Yes, in-fact, back when I was just a Squire during the battle against the Enclave."
The Paladins and Scribes were silence until the Paladin, with the Gatling Laser and the one who asked Elder Maxson, came up and said, "I heard so much about you sir, it is an honor."
"Thank you." I responded before turning towards Maxson, "If you're the Elder now, then that means..."
"Yes, it has been years since you disappeared, Vaughn. It's 2281 now." He answered.
"Strange, it has been a couple of days for me. It could be the differences in time frame or something." I concluded.
Maxson notices the people behind me and asks, "And who are they?"
I looked back at them and said to them, "Come on up guys."
I turned back towards Maxson and said, "Maxson, this here are the protectors of this world and the one who I first met when I first arrived here...."
"This is Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and..." I was cut off by Pinkie Pie when she said, "HI, I'M PINKIE PIE, AND WELCOME TO EQUESTRIA!!! OH DO YOU LIKE PARTIES?!"
Maxson and the others stood there were silent until Maxson asked, "Uhm, Vaughn..."
"Don't worry, from what I learned being here is to one: never question Pinkie or her abilities to break the 4th wall barrier and two: never try to even think about it, cause it'll give you a headache from what I heard."
"Okay and what about them?" Maxson asked.
"These are also from different alternate worlds that had happened to end up here." I answered.
"This here is Subject Omega and his daughter, Maria. This Is Scorpion, and try not to piss him off. I had witness him tearing a hostile super soldier's head off with a kunai and burst enemies into flames. And finally, a friendly Ghost Seeker, one of the denizons of the City of the Dead that surrounds the Sierra Madre Casino."
Maxson nodded and then Twilight asked, "Hey Vaughn. Do you know him because you gave him a bear hug."
"I do. Back in my world, he used to be just a kid known as Squire Maxson, the last decendent of the Maxsons, the ones who founded the Brotherhood of Steel. He is now Elder Maxson. I guess it has been longer since I left there."
Applejack asked, "So why are they here, then?"
"We came here to find Paladin Knight Vaughn and to bring him back home." Maxson answered.
I sighed in regret and said, "I can't go back, not yet though."
Maxson's eye's widened and asked, "Wh-why?!"
I looked towards the Mane 6, who nodded, and said, "I think it's best for the co-rulers to tell you, and besides, We just caught an enemy soldier and we were going to the Capital to ask him questions. We were going to go on train but since you're here..."
Maxson smiled and asked, "Where to?"
Princess Celestia and Luna were having tea until a guard came in.
"Is there something wrong?" asked Celestia.
"Yes. The two guards you sent out Ponyville reported back that it was attacked but was saved by Paladin Knight Vaughn and the Mane 6, as well as three new visitors that helped out." answered the guard.
Celestia and Luna were shocked but eased up a little when they heard that it was saved.
"Vaughn also captured the commander of the strike team and send him with the guards. He is going to be questioned when The Mane 6 and Vaughn arrives." the guard added.
Celestia and Luna smiled and Celestia said, "Thank you for the report. You ma...."
Celestia was interrupted by another guard, who said, "Your highness! You might want to look out the window."
Celestia and Luna came up to the window and were surprised by an airship that arrived over the city. What shocked them the most was that it bears the BOS emblem.
Luna then said, "Maybe they came here in peace, considering they are also Brotherhood."
Celestia responded, "Maybe you're right."
Then they saw a flying machine, flying away from the airship towards the entrance of the palace, landing. They saw Vaughn and the Mane 6 climbing off of the machine along with others.
We arrived at Canterlot by airship, which we had a tour of while we waited, and by the time we landed, we saw that the citizens of Canterlot were more curious but a little frighten by the Prydwen's arrival. Luckily, when we did arrive, Maxson went on speaker and told the citizens to remain calm and the such, just like back at Ponyville. So we then headed into the Palace to meet up with Princess Celestia and Luna...
Celestia and Luna came up to us and Celestia said, "Ah, Paladin Knight Vaughn! Girls! It is good to see you all here and it seems that your friends arrived here as well. So who is the leader here?"
I responded, "Right here, Celestia. This is Elder Maxson, the current Elder of this Brotherhood faction..."
I then turned to Maxson, "Elder, this is Princess Celestia and her younger sister, Princess Luna, the co-rulers of Equestria."
Maxson acknowledged me and said to Celestia and Luna, "It is an honor to meet you, your highnesses."
Celestia said, "Please, call me Celestia, and my sister, Luna, Elder Maxson."
"As you wish, and just call me Maxson." he responded.
"Very well." she concluded.
Celestia then turned towards me and asks, "Now, who was this commander you sent here for questioning? Who is he working for?"
I gave a long sigh and then answered, "He works for the Nazi Empire, one of the many known tyrants that have slaughtered millions upon millions of innocent people during the 2nd World War, but these Nazis are from an alternate world where they won the war, considering these guys are more advance then the ones I know of."
Celestia, Luna, and even Maxson gave an expression of shock and horror. Maxson asks, "Why didn't you tell me about that?!"
"Cause, well, you really never asked, and I'm not trying to be funny here, seriously. It didn't come to mind until now." I answered.
Maxson rolled his eyes and said, "Fair point. So how advance are they?"
"Well let's see, uh, they got super soldiers, advance weaponry, killer robotic monsters and the such, so that means they are pretty advance, enough to give us trouble though." I concluded.
"Well it is a good thing we arrived here, right?" Maxson asked.
"True that." I responded.
We stood there in silence for a moment until I said, "Alright, while I go and question the commander, you can ask Celestia and Luna why I can't leave, is that alright?"
Maxson nodded and me, the Mane 6, and our new friends went to go to see the prisoner, then overheard Maxson saying, "So...tell me the reason why he can't leave then."
We arrived at a room with a table and two chairs, with the prisoner within it. One of the guards said, "Alright, you may now head inside, but I'm afraid that everyone else must stay out here though, but will be watching and listening to everything."
I nodded and headed on inside. The prisoner looked up at me and seemed to be calm about it, and started by asking, "What is your name?"
"Frederick Heinrich, sir."
I nodded and continued, "Well Frederick, are you going to cooperate with me?"
"Y-yes, sir." Frederick answered.
"Good, and please, call me Vaughn, Frederick." I said.
"Okay." He said.
"So let's start on what year it was where you are from." I replied.
"1960" he answered.
"Okay, now did your country, Germany, win the 2nd Great World War?" I asked.
"Y-yes, why do you ask? If it is okay if I ask that." he said.
"Well, from my world, the Allies defeated the Axis Power when the Americans dropped the Atomic bombs on Japanese cities and such like Hiroshima. That was long, long ago." I answered.
"Oh." He responded.
"So did you join the Nazi military willingly or was you forced to?" I asked.
"W-well, I was actually forced to because they threatened to kill my family if I refused to. In-fact, I was hoping that I would be killed in battle when we attack the settlement." he sighed in sorrow.
"Hmm, I thought so." I said.
He immedietly looked up at me with a surprise expression on his face when I said it.
I continued, "Over the past years with the Brotherhood, fighting to protect the survivors in the Capital Wasteland from Raiders, Slavers, and the like, I slowly started to trust my gut and being able to judge anyone by observing their emotions, listening to their voice if the lie or not, and spared them and never my gut proved me wrong, not even once."
"W-wasteland?" He asked.
"My world was plunged into the abyss on nuclear fire and radiation, from the bombs that fell all over the entire earth." I answered.
"I-I see, I apologies, really I do. I actually rather live there instead of where I'm from." he replied.
"But one thing is for sure though..." I said.
He looked up again to listen what I was about to say.
"...is that war never changes, maybe the technology we use, from sword and shield, to guns and bombs, but not the way war is. The killing, the violence, everything. But do you know that does change though?"
"What?" He asked.
"Men do, only if you are willing to do so, by the roads, our own journey to our life's future, we walk upon. If you are willing to change yourself and turn around your life, then it would be a whole new life you may want not just for you, but also the people around you, like your family, friends, everyone. If you're willing to change, then it may help save and protect the ones you care so much about." I concluded.
As I stood up and walk towards him while he looks up at me, I took off my helmet and raised my hand towards him and ask, "Are you willing to join us to stop the very enemy that dares threaten your family? Will you join us to put the infamous Nazi Empire in its place and show them that no matter what, that they will not get away from their crimes and their cruelty? Will you join us to fight to protect the ones you love from those that threatens to harm and right your wrongs, or will you sit here and then regret over your past mistakes and for being a puppet for the tyrant's amusement?"
He looked at me, with widen eyes, and stood up, shook my hand and said, "YES! Yes I will join you and I will RIGHT MY WRONGS! Thank you for giving me a second chance, si-uh Vaughn. You have given me the hope that has left me a long time ago. It is time for me to show what I think about them and their god-damn empire. And for giving this hope, I owe you a debt of gratitude, and my life."
"There's no need for that, Frederick. Everyone deserves a second chance, and I promise you, that I...WE... the Brotherhood of Steel, will find a way to save your family and bring them back here in this world, where they can be safe." I responded.
I then lead him out of the room, where we meet the Mane 6, Scorpion, the Ghost Seeker, Omega and Maria, Maxson, Celestia and Luna that stood right outside the door with a surprise/glee mixed expression on their faces.
"How much did you hear that?" I asked them.
"Everything, Vaughn. I had never hear nor seen anyone, like you, giving anyone a second chance, even to someone who has served a tyrant that killed so many innocent people." Celestia said.
"That's Vaughn for you. He has always been like a mentor, just like Sentinel Lyons and Elder Lyons, but also like a big brother as well." Maxson said.
Fluttershy ran up to me and said, "You are the most kindest and the most bravest person that I have ever met in my life. I'm very glad you came into our lives, Vaughn." as she hugged me and a kiss on the check, which was not what I was expecting at all. She then notice this and said, "Oh, um I-I'm sorry, Vaughn..."
"It's alright, Fluttershy. It's just that I did not expected that at all, that's all." I re-assured her.
Maxson looked at Celestia and asked, "Why did Fluttershy kiss Vaughn?"
"Fluttershy and Vaughn are...well...dating." Celestia said. Maxson was stunned by this. He looked towards my direction in silence for a few moments.
Maxson then walked over to me and said, "Also, Celestia and Luna told me about you being the chosen one and all that, which actually caught me off guard. Who would of thought you, out of all people, to become the chosen one." as he laughed at himself and continued, "I guess that when Elder Lyons said he can see great things in you, he wasn't lying, and I couldn't agree more who is more fit to be a hero."
Me and Maxson saluted each other and he said, "Ad Victoriam."
"Is that the new way quote you added there, Maxson?" I asked
"Yes, do you like it?" Maxson asked.
"Hell yeah, I do!" I answered.
But then one of the Paladins, who was wearing a T-51b power armor, came up and said, "S-sir, Elder, we've got a problem. Our sensors picked up movement of large numbers of troops and machines, even a large one that is bigger than Liberty Prime himself. We also picked up their comms and it sounds like this city is in danger. What is your orders, sir?"
Elder Maxson thought for a moment and replied, "Get everything ready for battle. Everything, even Liberty Prime, the combat robots, everything and everyone, immediately. We are about to face an advance version of Nazis, who won the war from their world, and it is our duty to stop any advance faction that dares threaten everyone."
"Yes Elder!" The Paladin said and ran off.
I sighed and said, "After all of this, I might need some relaxation, if possible."
Team RWBY was summoned by Professor Ozpin for a strange occurrences in the Emerald Forest and was debriefed.
"So let me get this straight: We have to go into the Emerald Forest just to discover an occurrence that may or may not actually be there, right?" Ask Yang.
"Yes, for all we know, the White Fang could be behind this. That is why I'm sending your team down there to investigate." Ozpin said.
Ruby then said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's just get this done and over with, 'cause I really need some sleep." as she yawned.
Weiss nodded and said, "Yeah, I'm with Ruby on this, I'm tired too."
Blake just nodded in response, quietly.
1 hour later in the forest...
Team RWBY came to a clearing and found some sort of swirling portal, which caught the team by surprise. Ruby asked, "What is that?"
Blake answered, "It looks like some sort of portal, but to where, I don't know."
They were quiet for a moment until Ruby walked closer and Yang yelled out, "Sis, be careful! We don't know if it will suck us in, for all we know."
Weiss then said, "Listen to your sister, Ruby!"
Ruby turned around and said, Oh please, I dou-" But then the portal sucked Ruby in, screaming, "WAAAA!", within a second. Blake, Yang, and Weiss shouted, "RUBY!!" as they went through the portal after Ruby.

RWBY came to in a city of sorts, but deserted. Weiss came up to Ruby, shouting, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! I SWEAR IF WE A-" she stopped in mid sentence as Team RWBY notice a large army of soldiers coming closer, hearing them yelled in some weird language, "Schnappt sie! Lassen Sie die Panzerhund !" then all of a sudden, a large mechanical beast came charging at them. Team RWBY prepared themselves as the monster pounce into the air only for it to be incinerated by a large robot behind Team RWBY. They look at it in awe as it spoke "COMMUNISTS DETECTED ON AMERICAN SOIL; LETHAL FORCE ENGAGE." As it threw a large bomb the blew up the hostile army. "BETTER DEAD THAN RED."
Team RWBY was awe struct until Ruby fan-girled, "That was so awesome."
But then a large, hostile armored soldier came charging in at them until a kunai showed up out of nowhere and impaled itself into its head.
Team RWBY was confused at this and turned around to see the source of it. Blake then said, "Wha-"
"GET OVER HERE!!" the man shouted, tearing off the hostile's head off and impaled it to a wall with a sword. What Team RWBY saw was a yellow and black ninja with fire in his eyes, literally. but then they saw 3 more figures coming up from behind. One looked like being in an old diver suit, with a menacing drill, one wearing a mask with glowing green eyes and hunched over, and the last one was in some sort of heavy armor, holding a minigun.
Team RWBY stared at them in awe and shock until the one with the minigun came up and asked, "Uhm, I don't supposed that you girls came from a different world through a portal now would ya?"
They nodded and he continued, "Heh, you're not the only one." and caught them by surprise. He continued, "Well get introductions later after we kill these Nazi bastards. Wanna help out?"
Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang talked to each other for a short time and Ruby answered, "Sure, why not." as she pulles out Cresent Rose(Her scythe), which surprised him a little.
"Huh, that's new." He said.
Then the ninja said, "Let Mortal Kombat begin."
The diver guy revved up his drill and roared, charging at the 'Nazis' while the last guy disappeared without a trace.
Ruby turn towards her team and said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go."
Weiss, Blake and Yang nodded and pulled out their weapons, beginning their fight, Until they heard the large robot quoting, "FREEDOM IS THE SOVEREIGN RIGHT OF EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN, AND YOU HAVE NO POWER TO TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ANYONE."
Ruby squeals in excitement and then cheered, "This is going so awesome."
Then the armored man yelled out towards other soldiers wearing somewhat similar to the same armor, "Alright, Brothers and Sisters! We now shall follow Liberty Prime towards the battle! Now everyone! On me!"
Blake looked up at 'Liberty Prime' and spoke, "Liberty Prime, huh? Cool name for a machine."
Yang added, "And having an unstoppable killing machine on our side makes it even more better."
"And he or it is very patriotic, as well." Weiss also adds.
As the Brotherhood, plus some allies, began their fight with the Nazis, Liberty Prime took notice of an even larger war machine coming towards their location. Liberty Prime then spoke, "WARNING: HIGHLY DANGEROUS HOSTILE DETECTED. LETHAL FORCE IS AUTHORIZED." as he marched towards his target.
I was mowing down Nazis until the red girl asks, "Wait where is he going?"
"To battle against that." I said as I pointed at the large, hostile machine. The red girl's eyes widened as she looked at the war machine that is bigger than Liberty Prime himself.
"A-are you sure he can take that thing on?" Red asks with the hint of worry.
"Rule number 53: never doubt Liberty Prime's capabilities. He is built for this, being the ultimate weapon he is, after all." I said to her. She nodded at me and continued on taking down Nazis. I then looked up at Liberty Prime and muttered, "Good luck Prime." and then continued on mowing down the enemy.
Liberty Prime came up to the Stomper, which it said, "Halt! Übergeben Sie jetzt und Sie können sparred werden , vielleicht."(Halt! Surrender now and you may be sparred, maybe.)
Then Liberty Prime switched his language modulator to German and said, "Nie! Amerika wird nie zu den Tyrannen wie Sie ergeben!"(Never! America will never surrender to Tyrants like you!)
The Stomper then asks, "Wer bist du? Was ist Ihre Bezeichnung ?"(Who are you? What is your designation?)
Liberty Prime then said, "Bezeichnung : Freiheit Prime."(Designation: Liberty Prime.)
The Stomper stood there for a few seconds and then said, "Bezeichnung: Berlin -Monitor .(Designation: Berlin Monitor.)
The Berlin Monitor then continues, "Bereiten Sie sich auf ultimatly demise , Prime ."(Prepare for ultimatly demise, Prime.)
Liberty Prime then spoke, "Tyrant die Chance auf den Sieg : Unmöglich!"(Tyrant's chance of victory: Impossible!)
Then Liberty Prime and the Berlin Monitor engaged at each other as a certain blonde soldier with scars around his head watched them fight and muttered, "Well holy shit. A giant patriotic robot of America fighting the German War Machine. Nice, now I need to see if I can find the ones who owns this 'Liberty Prime' and help them out in any way I can."
This was the voice of William B.J. Blazkowicz, the U.S. Army Ranger Veteran who fought against the Nazi war machine himself.
