While Discord and Eris tried to make a long distance teleport for the guards of Canterlot they needed the help of Twilight, Cadence, Luna and Celestia. Only, it goes terribly wrong.
Discord and Eris had an idea to make a portal to the different towns and cities around Equestria so in case of an emergency they could immediately send the guards of Canterlot to that location. So with the help of Twilight, Cadence, Luna and Celestia they tried to attempt it, only Rainbow wanted to see it for herself and accidentally surprised them, causing the first human to be sent to Equestria.
In this Equestria they have phones, tablets, wi-fi, T.V., and videogames.
In the city of Canterlot all was normal with its citizens. Going to work, playing with their children, hanging out with friends. All was peaceful with them, though in the castle of Canterlot two draconequus were explaining an interesting idea to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
"So let me get this straight. You two want to create a long distance portal to all the cities and towns in Equestria because in case of crisis in said town or city we can send our royal guards there to help?" Celestia asked with a dumbfounded expression on her face as well as Luna.
"Well I mean it's a great idea. Since the elements of harmony were reintroduced to Equestria there's been more evil beings attacking twice a year! It's a great idea that Me and Eris came up with. Isn't that right sister?" Discord asked his fellow 'Mistress of Chaos'.
"That's right Discord. I mean just think about it! First Nightmare Moon, Me and my brother, Chrysalis, Nyx, the plants of the everfree, Tirek and now the tantubis!" She exclaimed to the two royal sisters which then turned to eachother with a thoughtful expression on their face.
"They do have a point Tia. Think of how much easier it would be if we could get our guards there at a moment's notice." Luna pointed out to big siter.
Celestia sighed before turning to Eris and Discord while crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. "And how will we even manage this task?" She asked the two of them.
Eris and Discord both smirked and scoffed at her question before Discord answered. "Its actually quite simple, but first we're going to need Twilight and Cadence." Before Celestia could ask why Discord beat her to it. "It requires a lot of magic." He told them his arms stretching to both ends of the of the throne room to emphasize his point.
Luna walked away telling them. "I'll send a letter to them right away." She told them before teleporting herself to her tower. Celestia then turned to Eris and Discord.
"Are there any requirements for this spell?" She asked them a serious expression on her face.
Eris answered her question. "We need to be the only ones in the room and we can't have ANY interruptions." She told them zipping her own mouth by the end of it.
Celestia then walked towards the window viewing Canterlot. "I hope you are right."
********************************************************** Twilight and her friends were hanging out in sugarcube corner just enjoying each others company while Nyx and the crusaders were sitting in a corner booth probably thinking up some crazy idea for a cutie mark and Spike was keeping an eye on them. Twilights attention was brought back to her friend Pinkie Pie.
"Why does the bear not like jokes?" They all thought before shaking their heads. "He thinks they're unBEARABLE!" Everyone at the table burst out laughing while Fluttershy was giggling. It may have been very bad, but that's just Pinkie Pie.
Rainbow wipped a year from her eye still chuckling. "Geez Pinkie, that was funny. Oh I just remembered this hilarious joke. So a Griffin and two dragons walk into a bar-" Her joke was interupted by Spike belching a wisp flying over to Twilight who caught it with her magic. Unfolding it she read it out loud.
'Dear Twilight,
It has come to my attention that Eris and Discord can help us with a long distance teleportation spell for our guards, but in order to enable it we need your and Cadences help to enable it. A chariot should be arriving outside your location as you read this.

Twilight looked amazed while her friends looked confused. Rainbow Dash spoke what was on everyponies mind. "Umm what about us?" She asked. Twilight then looked at the letter again.
"It says nothing about you guys! Maybe you aren't supposed to come?" She suggested to them. Before they could say anything else the sounds of wings flapping and an object landing distracted them. Them a royal guard walked through the door heading towards their location.
" Princess Twilight Sparkle. I hope you got the message?" Twilight then nodded her head. "Then I'd like you to come with me please." As she stood up so did her friends. "Sorry, but you aren't supposed to come." Rainbow was about to say something, but the guard beat her to it. "There are to be no interuptions." Rainbow and the others sat down while Twilight walked over to Nyx and Spike.
"Spike I'd like you to watch Nyx tonight the Princess needs me." Spike then gave her a salute and a confident smile. Twilight then turned to Nyx giving her a great big hug. "I'll be home soon Nyx. Don't worry." She then stood up and gave each of her friends a goodbye hug walking towards the guard waiting by the door before turning around and giving everypony a goodbye wave and vice versa before walking out.
Though Rainbow was thinking about where they were going to cast the spell and where she'd watch them.
When Twilight landed in the courtyard of the palace she saw Celestia, Luna and Cadence smiling warmly at her. She ran up to Celestia and gave her a hug which she happily returned then to Luna. She also did her dance with Cadence. "So you wanted our help?" Twilight asked standing next to Cadence.
Celestia and Luna nodded. "Of course. Eris and Discord will explain it to you when we get there." She and Luna then started walking down the hall Twilight and Cadence following. When they were right outside the door to the throne room Twilight noticed eight extra guards outside the door.
"Why the extra guards Celestia?" Twilight asked her former mentor.
"Those were the guards that were in the throne room. We moved them out here for so Nopony could interupt the spell." Celestia explained using her magic to open the large doors. Eris and Discord were floating lazily about eating some cotton candy before they noticed the doors open.
Discord then stuffed his mouth full of the remaining cotton candy while Eris then put it on her tail making it into the tiny fluff of fur at the end of the tail. "It's about time! Seriously why send a carriage when you can just teleport?" Discord asked. That caused a facepalm from all the alicorns in the room.
"Tia? Remind me to not use the carriage when I can teleport much faster." Luna told her sister iritated that she didn't realize this sooner.
"Noted. Okay so what should we do Eris, Discord?" Celestia asked them.
Discord then responded. "It's actually quite simple. All you have to do is channel your magic while thinking your happiest memory. It will then make a large orb of energy that me and Eris Will manipulate to make a portal that can go anywhere you want just by thinking." He stated proudly. "Now stand in a circle and start channeling. Me and Eris Will do the rest."
The four alicorns then sat down in the middle of room. Eyes closed they concentrated on their happiest memory content smiles on their face while the God and godess of Chaos started to form their magic. Outside the window Rainbow looked on in awe at the light show inside. "I need a better look." She said to herself. Then she noticed a slightly opened window. 'Bingo.' She thought to herself.
When she entered she flew to the ceiling as to not get spotted. She then hovered right over them getting a good look at what they were doing. She then felt an itch on her right wing. She then scrathed it, but two feathers fell down in the process. Both of those feathers landing on the God and godess of Chaos nose.
They both sneezed sending the now fully formed hall of energy flying around the room like a pinball. While the alicorns took cover behind some nearby drapes and pots while Eris and Discord tried to catch the ball using butterfly nets while wearing an explorer outfit. After about a minute it stopped and started forming a large window like portal. By that time everypony looked at it in awe.
Twilight then heard a pair of hovering of wings and noticed Rainbow at the top of the ceiling. "Rainbow!! Get down here right now!" She demanded which her friend slowly flew down wearing a sheepish smile on her face. Before Twilight could tell her off a foot stepped through the portal.
It was five foot eight by the look of it. It was also wearing pajamas and had a pair of headphones on while looking down at its tablet. It had short hair indicating it was male. Only when he was out of the portal did the portal evaporate gaining the attention of the....human?
It then looked around in confusion before his gaze rested on the group in front of him. Everypony just stood still like him in surprise before the human (child?) spoke. "That's the last time I stay up for twenty four hours!"
Nopony knew what to do. They all were just staring in shock at the first human to enter equestria. "Hold on a sec, I'm dreaming right? Who am I kidding of course I'm dreaming! Wait, how do I know I'm dreaming?" The human then gasped. "Can I still use my tablet?!?" He then looked back at the tablet in his hands his fingers moving across the touchscreen.
Twilight, Rainbow, Luna, Celestia, Cadence, Eris and Discord were even more surprised. Luna was the first to break the silence. "Umm as the Princess of the Night I can tell you that you aren't dreaming." The human then looked up an amused expression on his face.
"Really? And how can you prove that? I'm in an anthro version of equestria of course I'm dreaming!" He then put the tablet under his right arm. "Look just watch. I'm going to shut my eyes and then I'll wake up in the comfort of my own bed." He then closed his eyes shut.
After a couple seconds he opened his eyes a confident grin on his face. His eyes then widened in suprise when he found he was still in the throne room. "Uhhh that's....new." He then pinched his arm. Looking up he was still there. He then slapped his face. Still there. He then did the last thing he could think. He punched himself in the....nuts. They all winced at what he just did.
He then slumped over on the floor a tear at the edge of his eye. He then looked up disbelief on his face at the fact he was still there. Twilight then walked towards him reaching out her hand to help him up. He then looked around a disbelieveing look on his face before accepting Twilights hand.
When he was standing Twilight spoke to him in a gentle voice. "I'm sorry, but you are now in equestria." He then looked around before grabbing his tablet that fell on the floor. Checking the time, day and tempature it all said 'Reset tablet to update'. He then looked up at the Twilight a more calm expression on the child's face.
"So I'm in equestria?" Twilight then nodded. "Well then nice to meet you Princess Twilight. I'm Joey Dixon!" He then walked over to Princess Celestia. "Ummm do you mind if I pass out on your throne? I don't want to hurt my head on the floor." Celestia slowly nodded. Joey then walked over to throne standing in front of it a smile on his face before he leaned back slumping into the chair unconscious.
Everybody then looked at each other, but Twilight could see Rainbow trying to sneak towards an open window. She then used her magic to close it with a slam suprising Rainbow who jumped back in shock. Rainbow then turned around to see the six most powerful beings in equestria glaring at her.
Twilight then spoke in silently furious voice. "Rainbow. Mind telling us what you are doing here?" Rainbow then rubbed the back her neck nervously before answering.
"I umm....got curious." Twilight then entered her fiery rage mode glaring death at Rainbow who was slowly backing up. Twilight then took in a deep breath and turned back to normal again.
"I'll deal with you later right now we need get Joey to a room so we don't draw attention." Celestia then walked up to the unconscious human child picking him up with her magic.
"I'll teleport to a guest room in the castle. Number 1738. Meet me there." She then disappeared in a flash of golden light leaving three alicorns, two gods of chaos and a terrified Rainbow Pegasus.
Twilight then spoke her gaze testing on Rainbow. "I think we need a talk on private matters." Rainbow then gulped in fear at the thought a lecture.
Celestia was sitting on a chair reading a book while Joey was resting under the covers of a bed made for God's. Ten minutes had already passed and she was already getting curious as to what was taking them so long. Moments later the door opened with Twilight, Cadence, Eris, Discord and lastly a slightly paler Rainbow Dash.
Celestia then stood up and crossed her arms together. "What took you all so long?" She asked them.
Twilight was the one who answered. "We decided to have a little talk with Rainbow about why she shouldn't break into the palace and the consequences. Isn't that right Rainbow?" She then looked at Rainbow who nodded rapidly.
Celestia then sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Tell me you didn't tell her about the punishments Eris and Discord used to do during their reign?" They all nodded nervously while Eris and Discord suddenly threw a book they had behind their back into a paper shredder which they then teleported back to the tax room whistling innocently.
Celestia then sighed and decided to handle that later. She then turned to Eris and Discord. "How long until we can can get Joey home?" Eris and Discord both looked at each other nervously twiddling their paw and claw together.
Discord then answered. "You see once that spell is cast we have to wait until the same day a year later in order to start the spell." Celestia then flopped down in the seat she sat in.
Twilight then put a hand on her former mentors shoulder. "Celestia what do we do?" Celestia then took a deep breath in and out.
"Twilight, do have a spare room at the library?" Twilight then nodded slowly wondering what she had planned. "Twilight this is a big favor I'm asking of you. I need you to take care of Joey for the next year if you can."
Twilight and everypony had an expression of shock on their face at what she just asked. "But, Celestia I have to take care of Spike and Nyx I don't have that much bits to-"
Before she could say anything else Joey then pushed up from the bed sitting in an L position from the side. "Wait, wait, Wait, wait.....wait. Did you say you have a daughter named Nyx?" Twilight then nodded confused as to what he was interested in Nyx was. He nodded before grabbing his tablet and turning it on. He then noticed they were all still looking at him. "Oh you can continue talking just pretend I'm not here."
Twilight then turned her attention back to Celestia. "Celestia I can't feed three kids. I know Spike eats gems, but that's beside the point."
Celestia then nodded before thinking her choice through. "Twilight how would having access to royal funds help?" Twilight had her mouth open in shock. Joey then stood up and waved a hand in front of her face.
"I think you broke her." Twilight then broke out her shock. "Never mind." Joey said as he climbed up onto the bed asking Luna the Wi-Fi password.
"Celestia I-I don't what to say." Celestia then embraced her into a hug.
"It's the least I can do for what I'm asking." She then turned her attention to Joey. "So how do feel about staying with Twilight for the time being?"
He then answered while still looking at his tablet. "For the time being you meant one year and yes."
They all looked at him sadly before they all said at once. "We're so sorry."
To their surprise he waved it off with a hand. "It's fine. I always wanted an interesting life and it's not your fault." Bet then looked up a large smile a large grin on his face. "So what are we waiting for. Lets go to Ponyville!"
Everypony simply stared at Joey for the time being and what he just said. He simply looked confused. "What? Was it something I-" His face then lit up with realization. "Uhhh, I have some explaining to do don't I?" Everypony simply nodded while Joey looked around with a nervous grin.
Celestia stepped forward standing at the front of the bed. "How did you know you were going to Ponyville? As a matter of fact, how do you know who we are?" She finished crossing her arms.
Joey looked around nervously not sure how to answer before he thought of something fun to do before then. He then pointed to a nearby window. "Is that Terik?!?" Everypony then crowded around the window, but Terik wasn't there. They then turned around to see Joey standing by the door. "Look I'd like a good old fashioned chase scene. But I'm going to need to play this." He then pressed a button on his tablet.
He then ran out the door the music playing at his side. Twilight then appeared at the end of the hall and Joey then took a left. At the end of that hall Discord appeared with butterfly net, but Joey slid under his legs. Luna then appeared in front of him making Joey screech to a halt before turning down a corridor on his right. Rainbow flew towards him at fast speeds, but Joey jumped over her when she got too low .Cadence and Eris were both covering both exits in this corridor, but Joey then made a U turn running straight into Celestia. He looked up to see Discord put the butterfly net over his head.
Joey looked up to see everypony glaring at him sternly. He then surprised them all by jumping up with the butterfly net still of his head covering his arms by his side's and his tablet in his left hand. He didn't get very far before falling over with an. "Ow!" He then noticed them helping him out of the net before Eris put some toy handcuffs on him.
Celestia then looked at him with an amused look. "That was fun Joey." She then looked at him sternly. "But I'd like to know HOW you know about us all?" Joey then thought over his answers before settling on the most understandable.
"You are all fictional characters on a T.V show called 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic' and Eris wasn't in the T.V show, but some people created you anyway.........that's all." They all looked at him with wide eyes.
Cadence then broke the silence. "Sooo that answers that. Now we continue with what we were gonna do originally....right?"Everypony then shook the cobwebs out of there head.
"Right. Twilight I'll get a carriage ready for you and Joey. It'll only take a couple minutes." With that Celestia teleported to get the chariot ready. Everypony and human just stood in the hall waiting for Celestia.
Twilight then decided to talk to Joey. "So how are you holding up?" Joey looked up at her.
"Well I guess I'm okay. Sure this will take a year before I see my family again." He then sniffed and started to look sad. "But at least I'll get to meet everypony then I'll tell everyone back home all about it." Tears then started to calm down his face and his voice sounded strained. "I-I mean it's not everyday someone gets to stay in Equestria for a while year-" He then buried his face in his hands leaning up against the wall before slowly falling down into a fetal position bawling his eyes out.
Twilight found her heart breaking at this sight. She then knelt down and held him close which he then threw his arms around her crying into her shoulder. This brought tears to everybody else. Twilight then started rubbing his back trying to calm him down. "Shhh it's okay you'll see your family again Joey and until then I'll take good care of you as if you were my own." Joey then upped back looking into her eyes.
"Do you promise?" Twilight then did the Pinkie Pie promise which made Joey smile before hugging her again. "Thank you Twilight." She then returned the hug in time to see Celestia looking down at her with tears in them with tears in her eyes.
"I'll give you two a moment." She then motioned for everbody else to leave them be. Only one minute later did Twilight dare to talk.
"Feel better now?" Joey then pulled back from the hug and nodded wiping some tears from his face. "Good. The chariots ready to go now." They then stood up Joey being just two heads shorter than her. "How old are you Joey?" She asked him.
"13." Twilight blinked in surprise at this. She expected him to be eleven by the way he acted and how tall he was, but that didn't matter now.
"Well come now let's go to my home and meet everypony." Joey looked even happier at that thought. They then started walking through the corridors drawing attention from the staff and guards. Though Joey didn't look bothered by it at all. When they reached the plaza they saw a chariot with four pegasi standing near it. Sitting on a nearby bench were Rainbow and Celestia who then stood up walking towards them.
Rainbow was the first to speak. "I'll fly on ahead, see you two in Ponyville." With that she took to the skies a Rainbow trail following her.
Celestia then gave Twilight a hug handing her a card. "What's this?" Twilight asked her former mentor. Her eyes then widened in surprise. "Full access to the royal funds? I thought you were joking. Thank you Celestia!" She then gave her mentor another hug. Celestia then looked down at Joey.
"We will try everything we can to make sure you get home Joey. I promise." Joey then gave Celestia a hug suprising her, but she then returned it. She pulled away. "Hope you have a pleasant stay in Equestria Joey." Twilight and Joey go the entered the chariot waving goodbye to Celestia. Joey was looking forward to this.
Joey was looking out through the window of the chariot admiring Equestrias beautiful forests, large grass plains and the glittering lakes and rivers. Twilight on the other hand was just so curious as to how this young child could act so calm in this situation. 'It's almost as if he planned for such an event.' She thought to herself.
A couple minutes later Joey sat back down with a happy expression on his face. He then turned to face Twilight. "Hey, Twilight?" Twilight shook the cobwebs from her head and turned to face Joey.
"Yes?"
"Do you think the townsfolk will accept me?" Twilight tilted her head to the side at that question.
"Why do you ask?"
He sighed on looked down. "It's just the only other nonpony species that has been accepted was Zecora and even so they still were frightened when she appeared in Ponyville." He then looked even more sad. "So what if they don't accept me as easily?"
Twilight looked at him with a sad look before placing a hand on his shoulder making him turn his head. "Joey, if you know all about my adventures in Ponyville then you'll understand that they'll accept you. The moment you see Pinkie I bet she'll immediately throw you a welcome to Ponyville party." He then looked up at her with a smile before surprising her with a hug.
"Thanks Twilight." Twilight then closed her arms around him.
"You're welcome Joey." A thought then suddenly struck Joey in the head.
He then pulled away from the hug. "Hey Twilight, what's the date?" He asked.
"It's October 28th." Joey then put a hand to his chin a puzzled look on his face. "What's wrong?" Twilight asked.
"It was near the end of August on Earth so why is it suddenly October?" Before they could think more about that the chariot then came to halt.
"We must be in Ponyville." She then opened the door stepping out in front of her home. She turned around seeing Joey climbing out his tablet in his left arm. He then looked up at the Crystal castle Twilight now lives in while the chariot flew away to Canterlot.
Twilight giggled at the look on his face. "Don't stare at it too long or the reflection of the sun will blind you." She told before walking towards the front door of her castle Joey running up to her. The first thing she noticed was that the lights were off which could only mean one thing.
"SUPRISE!!"
The lights turned on revealing the castle to be decorated with balloons, streamers and tables with various sweets and Apple foods on them. The ponies that were there were the rest of the mane six, Nyx and the crusaders and a baby Dragon Spike.
Twilight then crossed her arms with an amused look on her face. "Seriously? All I did was to to Canterlot for not even a day!" Pinkie then bounced up in front of Twilight.
"So? Doesn't mean we can't party!" She then appeared where she yelled suprise Applejack stepping forward.
"So mind tellin us happened in Canterlot?" She asked with her southern accent. "Rainbow only told us some of what happened and that something went wrong with spell."
Twilight then looked a little nervous. "Yeah, we kind of have a new guest in Ponyville and Pinkie do not throw him a party just yet." She told her friend who was about to start running to find the new Pony. "I should also let you know that he isn't......a pony. So please don't freak out. I'd like you all to meet..."
She then stepped aside revealing the young boy who waved nervously.
Everypony except Twilight and Rainbow stood in shocked silence at the young human boy unable to say anything due to this suprise. Then Rarity was the first to speak. "Twilight. Is he a human? I thought you said it was impossible to come to this world without being turned into a pony."
"He's not from that human world. Me, Cadence, Luna, Celestia, Eris and Discord were trying to make a quick access teleport for the guards, until somepony followed us and interupted the spell." Twilight then glared at the Rainbow maned Pegasus who just chuckled sheepishly rubbing her arm embarrassed. "So now it's my job to take care of Joey until we can send him home."
Everypony seemed fine with that answer and so they decided to make him feel welcome. Applejack was the first to greet him. "Well howdy Joey, my name's Applejack and I run this towns Apple farm. Sweet Apple acres has the best Apple products you'll ever taste."
Joey then smiled and replied. "Well I'll keep that in mind." Applejack then walked away to the treats table While Rarity walked forward and shook his hand. "Well it is nice to meet you Joey. My name is Rarity. And since you just came to Equestria I take it you'll need some clothes. Just ask Twilight and we can get you situated whenever you want."
"I'm sure I'll need it soon."
Rarity then walked away to do some other activities and Fluttershy stepped forward not as shy because she wanted him to feel welcome. "Its nice to meet you Joey My name is Fluttershy and I take care of the animals at my cottage. You can come by and play with them whenever you want."
"Thanks. I really love animals as well."
Pinkie Pie then picked him up and started bouncing around with Joey in her arms. "Hi I'm Pinkie Pie. Welcome to Ponyville where everypony is really nice and accepting to anypony that moves into this town. I'd throw you a welcome party, but we're already at a party."
She then placed him back on the floor his spinning. "Thanks?"
Pinkie then bounced away letting Spike meet Joey who was only two feet taller than him. "Hi I'm Spike. Twilights numer one assistant and Ponyvilles only dragon."
Joey then shook his scaly hand. "Nice to meet you."
Spike then jogged away to make sure Rarity was comfy. The cutie Mark crusaders then walked up to Joey who was only a head taller them. Sweetie belle went first. "Hi I'm Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo then stepped forward. "I'm Scootaloo." Then Applebloom. "And I'm Applebloom and we're.." They then did a group hug shouting. "THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!"
Joey then rubbed his ringing ears saying louder than meant to. "Nice to meet you too!"
The girls then walked away Joey following them until he noticed a black alicorn staring at him with a blush. He then walked forward and her blush increased. "Hi I'm Joey nice to meet you...?"
She then shook her head. "Hi I'm uhh Nyx. Nice to meet you." She then shook his hand making a hasty retreat to the food table.
"What was that all about?" He said to himself before shrugging it off.
As I was walking away from Joey I had one thought on my mind. 'Why do I find him attractive?'

Joey was having a fun time. The food was great everyone was very kind to him. The games were fun too even though he ended up with an alligator on his face when he bobbed for Apple's getting a laugh out of everyone else. It was then that Twilight noticed what time It was.It was now 10 o'clock which was time for bed. After a brief cleanup from Pinkie who said she threw it into an interdemensional trash can everyone left except for the ponies and human who live there.
"You too get ready for bed I'm gonna show Joey his new room." With that Spike ran down the hall while Nyx offered Joey a nervous wave which he then returned. After walking up a flight of stairs they stopped at a door. When they opened it Joey had his jaw drop.
It had a king sized bed, a flat screen T.V, a giant bathroom a couple tables around and a ponybox one. "THIS is my room?", he asked, a disbelieving look on his face. Twilight simply nodded and that caused Joey to jump onto the bed sending a couple pillows flying into the floor.
"Well good night Joey. Tomorow we have a busy day." Twilight said before she left the room leaving Joey in the comfiest bed he's ever felt.
As Twilight awoke the next morning she groggily got out of bed grabbed some fresh clothes for the day before heading down to the bathroom. A couple minutes later she came out her mane and tail soaking wet and in clean clothes. It was a Sunday so she let Spike and Nyx sleep in for as long as they want. She then walked over to Joeys room at the end of the hall. Putting an ear to the door She could hear him walking around a bit.
She then knocked on the door. "Joey? Mind if I come in?"
A slightly muffled. "Yes." Could be heard from the other room. Turning the job she saw him squatting down by the Ponybox One.
"What are you doing?" She asked curiously.
He then turned his head to look at her walking over to the bed and bellyflopping down onto it. Turning his body so his head was facing the ceiling he answered. "Just trying to see if the console works the same as the Xbox One." Twilight then tilted her head in confusion. "Oh right. You see on my world we basically have the same cities and countries only spelled and said diffrently."
Twilight then nodded before remembering why she went to his room. "Right, today we're going to Raritys to get you some new clothes. Then I'm gonna take you on a tour of Ponyville. And since you just got here it'd be a good idea to go to the market and pick some food you like. Sound good?"
Joey then nodded a smile on his face. "Sure! Just let me change my cloth-. Oh, right." He said as rubbed his head embarrassed. "I guess we can go now." Twilight giggled at his response before walking out his room Joey following shortly after with his shoes now on.
It was a fairly cool day outside which made it much better for Joey and his long pajamas. As they were walking down the street Joey was drawing a lot of attention from the citizens. Twilight worried that he would feel nervous, but he just kept a smile and was still walking.
It took about ten minutes before they reached Raritys work place. Twilight knocked on the door and Sweetie Belle answered it. "Hi Twilight hi Joey. What are you two doing here?"
Twilight answered. "We need Rarity to make some clothes for Joey. Is she here?"
Sweetie nodded her head. "Yep. Let me get her for you." She then turned around running up the stairs while Twilight and Joey sat down on one of Raritys 'fainting chairs' as she called it. Rarity then appeared at the stairs smiling at who she saw.
"Twilight good to see you. And Joey I take it you're here for some new clothes?"
He nodded. "Eeyup."
"Well stand up on the stage and I'll measure your pajamas for you." He then walked up onto Raritys dress stage. "Now hold them out as flat as you can please." Joey did just that giving some details on how he liked his clothes. "So stretchy and soft right?"
Joey nodded. "Yep, I just love soft shirts." He then sat back down onto the fainting chair Sweetie sitting on a nearby chair.
"Alright Joey this should take about...30 minutes. Just be patient please." Rarity said as she retreated up the stairs to make him his new garments.
"So Joey." He turned his head to Sweetie. "Do you have a cutie Mark?"
He shook his head. "No. As far as no humans don't get a mark for their special talent which can make finding a job harder for them."
Unknown to him Sweetie had an eager grin on her face. "Why don't you join the CMC? You never now you may be able to get a Cutie Mark now that you're in Equestria."
Joey then put a hand to his chin thinking. "Sure. What's the harm?" He told her with a smile.
Sweetie clapped her hands. "I'll let the girls know about that. We'll host the meeting after school Tommorow." ' And I can hang out with you more.' She thought sitting in happiness.
Joey then realized something. "Umm Twilight?"
She then turned to face him sitting next to him. "Yes?"
"Do I have to go to school?" Twilight thought about that for a moment.
Joey then dropped down to his knees. Lightly screaming he lifted his head up. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" He then took in a deep breath. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Twilight then looked at him, bemused at his reaction. "Seriously?"
Joey then turned around a look of confusion on his face. "What?"
Twilight simply shook her head. "Well after this we'll go to town hall and get you registered as a citizen of Ponyville and sign you up for school tomorrow."
Joey then crossed his arms letting out a, "Hmph. Fiiiine." He said while rolling his eyes before taking a seat on the couch. Sweetie had left the room some time ago leaving just him and Twilight.
"Hey Twilight what kind of activities will there be at the nightmare night thing?" He asked.
Twilight out her hand to her chin thinking of what this year was doing. "Well if you have seen us then you know what'll happen then it's still the same. Oh wait this time they're making a song contest to see who can creep everyone out the most."
Joey then had a smile on his face at that realization. "Hey do you think I can enter?" Twilight looked at him curiously. "You know since I'm from another world I'm pretty sure they'll want to hear a song I from my world."
Twilight put a hand to her chin in thought about it at the moment. After a couple seconds she nodded. "Sure, why not." She smiled.
Joey then did a fist pump. It was only a couple minutes later that Rarity came out of the back room a bag of clothes in her levitation.
"Well here you are darling. I made seven of each so you can wear one pair while cleaning the other." She told him smiling. Joey reached into the bag pulling out seven shirts. One red, orange, blue, black, white, green and neon green. Same with the pants and underwear and the socks were plain white.
"Sorry about not being very creative, but I wanted a wide variety for you since I forgot to ask your favorite color.
Joey then put them back in the bag and smiled at Rarity. "Don't worry it's fine. I don't really care what anyone thinks about what I wear." Twilight and Rarity looked at him in mild shock.
"Wow that's very brave of you." Twilight commented.
Joey just waved a hand. "Meh, I don't cares if anyone judges me. Its great to be different."
Rarity smiled. "Well I'm glad you have an optimistic view on things Joey." Just as she finished her sentence Joey suddenly twitched his head to his right shoulder very fast before returning to its normal state.
Twilight blinked at him. "What was that if you don't mind me asking."
Joey turned to her. "Hmm? Oh you mean my twitch? Yeah not sure if it's a medical condition or just something my body does. I don't-"
Then a shout sounded from outside. "FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!" And then a rainbow blur blast through the door before sailing straight into the wall. After wincing at how painful that could have been the two ponies and human saw that Rainbow Dash was indented into the wall.
Then Pinkie appeared in the doorway. "Huh. I was so sure you could make it over the tree."
Rainbow then fell back onto the ground glaring at Pinkie. "You think?!?" She said before getting up and brushing herself off.
Rarity looked bemused at the Pegasus. "What did you two try this time?"
Rainbow cracked her neck before answering. "I tried to see if Pinkies cannon could send flying trough the air fast enough to do a sonic rainboom. But she forgot to lock it in place when it was tilted and sent me flying through the door into your." She explained.
Rarity facepalmed. "I'm going back work." She said before walking upstairs.
Pinkie then grabbed Rainbows palm. "Well see you guys later. And before fast objects." She said before she and Rainbow both ran out the door.
Twilight and Joey both looked at each other. "You don't think my neck thing could have predicted that do you?"
Twilight put a hand to her chin in thought. "Well it could just be a coincidence, but keep on eye on your surroundings when it happens again. Okay?"
Joey nodded. "Okay." He then grabbed his bag of clothes as he and Twilight walked out the door. Again the ponies still looked at him as he walked through the streets. But again Joey wasn't bothered by it.
When they finnaly reached the tree house Joey headed back to his room. Running up the stairs he turned the corner and accidently ran straight into Nyx knocking them both to the ground.
Joey rubbed his head seeing that he ran into Nyx he got up and offered his hand to help her up. "Sorry about that Nyx." Nyx looked up blushing and grabbed his hand.
"It's fine Joey I can tell you didn't mean to." Joey smiled at her before running down the hall to his room as Nyx looked on blushing.
"Am I crushing on him?" She said to herself.

"Am I crushing on him?" A voice said inside the building. Something was looking through the hallway window at the filly alicorn before walking around gazing into the window of the humans room as he sat there on the bed with a controller in his hand gazing intently at the screen.
"YoU WIlL SoOn DiE JoEy DiXOn. I PrOmIsE YoU ThAt."
Joey suddenly felt a strange tingling sensation sent down his back. He looked around the room feeling quite unerved. When he saw nothing he decided to open up the window and look out. Just ponies walking around. "Nothing weird here." He murdered to himself. "Oh wait, me."
He closed the window taking a look at his tablet then the T.V. "Hmm. What am I thinking? Why am I staying inside instead of exploring the town?" He said to himself. He checked the time on the clock by the nightstand. It read 4:05. Twilight said she was going to get him registered as a member of Ponyville, but she received a new order of books this morning and is now setting them up on the shelves of whatever librarians do with newly ordered books.
He ran out his room and left the tablet behind accidently running into Spike and knocking over the two laundry baskets he was carrying.
"Sorry about that Spike." He apologized helping Spike up.
"Meh, happens all the time." He said dusting himself off. He was picking up the clothes before he noticed Joey helping him. "Umm why are you helping me?" Spike asked.
Joey looked up. "I knocked you down its only fair that I help you up." He said. "Why do you ask?"
Spike looked up. "Well I'm just used to doing this stuff by myself, but thanks." He smiled at Joey as he finished putting the laundry in the basket.
"No problem. Well see ya later!" He said running down the stairs. He saw Twilight standing in the middle of the room levitating books to and fro.
"Hey Twilight." He said. She turned her head. "Do you mind if I take a walk around town? You know get the lay of the land?" He asked.
Twilight put a hand to her chin. "Well since Zecora the townsfolk ave been more welcoming, but just in case. Mud!" She yelled up the stairs.
"Yeah Mom?"
"Would you mind accompanying Joey around town?" She asked and her response was a pop next to her as Nyx appeared.
"Sure thing!" She said quite enthusiastically.
Twilight blinked slowly. "Okay then. Well be back by seven, alright?" She said.
Nyx saluted and smiled. "Sure thing Mom!" She turned to Joey. "Well let's go." She said.
Joey smiled and walked out the door. Nyx followed and then closed the door with her magic.
Again Joey felt a cold shiver run down his spine and turned to look at some nearby bushes. Nyx stopped and noticed that Joey wasn't behind her and instead was looking at a nearby bush.
"Ummm, Joey are you okay?" She asked uncertainly walking back to him.
Joey turned his gaze to look at her. "Yeah. Just thought I saw something. Must have been a squirrel or something. Lets go." He reassured her as he started walking down the road. Nyx felt satisfied with the answer and started walking along side him.
"Soooooooooo. Do you have any siblings Joey?" Nyx asked hoping to learn more about him.
"Yeah, my brother Drew. I'm pretty sure we're complete opposites though." He told her with a chuckle. "He's more responsible than he, he likes things being clean and he likes sports." He told her.
"Sounds like you would have a lot of arguements." Nyx said.
Joey shrugged. "Not really. In my opinion we get along quite well despite our differences." He then noticed that there seemed to be a strange smell coming from around the corner. Not a trash smell, but like an animal smell.
He stopped. "Hey Nyx?" He said to her as she stopped beside him. "Do you smell that?" Nyx took a big whiff of that smell and immediately gagged.
"Is there a skunk in town?" She commented as she covered her nose with the neck of her shirt.
Joey looked confused. "It doesn't smell that." He then heard a whimper around the corner. He carefully walked up to it turning his head around the corner to see....
A baby Timberwolf?
Joey then looked closer and realized that it was a baby Timberwolf and was trapped under a bunch of collapsed trash bags.
Nyx came around the corner still holding her nose. She then noticed the baby timberwolf futily trying to escape the trash bags with a whimper.
Joey then started to to pick up the trash around the crushed timberwolf, until Nyx grabbed his hand.
"What are you doing?" She asked urgently. "Don't you know timberwolves are nearly always hostile?"
Joey looked at her bemused before pointing to his voice.
"Oh. Right. But still we should at least talk to Fluttershy. She's much better with animals." She told him.
"And do you think that we should leave this poor creature under here? Just waiting for another hour before some other pony tries to harm it?" Joey asked. Nyx couldn't think of a response.
As Joey finished helping the timberwolf break free while Nyx was standing at the end of the alley. When enough trash was lifted away the timberwolf shuffled out from underneath and tackled Joey.
I've decided to cancel this story. But I will make another more improved one within a week or so, so keep an eye out for it I thank each and every one of you for taking your time to read this story.
