Taking place in a slightly different universe but basically were talking about rainbow giving you with free tour of the rainbow factory at least 4 areas, as terms of her community service!
Friendship Is Power universe: Roughly taking after Tank for the memories. Rainbow after destroying destroying a good section of the weather factory(thankfully the part that was devoted to ponyvill) has been sentenced by Princess Luna in court to community service, in the rainbow factory. Luna have not realize though that things have majorly changed since the past, where creating rainbows was a far more dangerous job in the Past. As such Rainbow is Just a tour guide the weather factory/rainbow sections. And basically you're on the tour! Yes this can be used as a self insert story.
Rainbow Dash wearing a lab coat and a hardhat, over her usual attire(a T-shirt with her signature cutie Mark, and her blue skirt) lab coats she's wearing is of course made out of the special fabric that allows for wings to pop-out. “Welcome to our first stop in the Rainbow factory!” Taking a quick count of how many little fillies and colts, and starts off with the opening nightmare fueled” First off I need to use this big huge gigantic needle to draw all your blood!” Pulling out one of the comical props she got from Pinky pie, and scary the little tykes with a slight chuckle she says “Just kidding, these rainbows are now blood free they been that way for centuries! Well as long as you're careful.”
She lead the group into a room filled with tons and tons of strange pipes each one of them filled with the colors of the rainbow. “This is where we collect the light, and turning into its varieties of colors! “ Pointing to a mirror shaped like a lightning rod, that is always facing the sun, as the beam of light strikes into it. “Back in the old days a Pegasus carrying a small bucket of water, with a clear bottom made out of the coldest of ice, and to fly up and collect the energy of sunlight the highest altitude and get close to the sun as possible, this process was extremely dangerous and many Pegasuses used to go blind from doing the job on multiple occasions. But now the process does not require us to do something that dangerous thanks to the discovery of making actual glass, that can be supported on clouds. After discovering how to make dust storms, it was quite easy to figure out how to make sure that the dust the sand that we can convert into into wind after a minor erosion run can be converted into materials to make glass. “ Repeating the phrases as if she was trying to remember textbook, this was one of those testing moments because she wasn't used to doing this this is more like Twilight's job.
After making a gesture toward a strange bucket, a small replica of the original bucket in the old days, it was a triple layer bucket, the first part of the bucket was normal but had no bottom, the second part of the bucket which will had a bottom but was strangely different and the third one was a section that looked like it could store cloud.
Rd did something that she really didn't like but, it's not like she could use the flying trick that she learned while back to actually memorize these things, but she used a different method that she also picked up when she was learning in school. Pulling out some minor cue cards twilight made but with a slight difference. “Okay time for a trivia question! What are the five states of matter?”
Waiting for a couple of people to actually raise their hands, for a few griffons of the audience so this was a good challenge, but were few unicorns as well and one or two zebras that managed to wrangle up some methods of getting up here. Actually a uniform raised her hand with a pair of wings, but it wasn't twilight? It was dark blue and obviously was Princess Luna trying her best that disguise forgetting to either disenchant or her Horn to be visible or her wings, or she could make up her mind again. Rainbow did give her a point of saying yes.
Princess Luna in a poorly disguised “the five states of matter are solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and Mana!” Rainbow smiled and put on her game show faced, when it was a subject that was more design around proper trivia system, it was a bit easier for her to grasp the ideas! As if she was a contestant competitions were her favorite thing so her and her dad often played off this routine. “Yes poorly disguised Princess of the night! Next time decide a species if you're going to go undercover.”
As everybody instantly began to bow around Princess Luna with the exception of the griffons, and Luna slightly looked embarrassed and sheepish, which was really shocking considering she was standing next to the sheep's, not exactly sure how they got up here but since they have managed to pull certain strange things like being able to dream jump, or was that just a rumor when you say you're counting sheep.
Rainbow got everybody back on track this time reading the little text that was written on the cue card! “Yes everything has exactly 4 states of matter, but the fifth one is always tricky because that is created from the aftermath of each change, an after image if you will! Now to make plasma you have to charge it up to a really high degree the when it comes to gas. And the reason why we need plasma is for electricity, in the old days we had to wrangle up clouds and capture those that were over the every forest or other areas they had natural reoccurring weather but now we can make her own. Electricity is extremely important to Pegasus lifestyles! But people keep forgetting that there are other methods of electricity! And unlike the other Pegasuses of old we have a much more desired need to have magic, then the usual types of magic that we had access back in the old days! Which brings us to the fact of studying Rainbow energy! Now here is how we collect and create the energies that we need in everyday life.”
Leading them to a room where they had to put on some different type of outfits, this fabric even was capable of generating alternate fabric to cover up wings, but the griffons had to grab one that was with a strange logo that was very familiar! Also the office were extremely flashy and very much different than the yellow outfits at the Pegasus zebra and also the Princess of night was wearing even the unicorns had to wear special helmets.
A Griffin “Terrible! Quel que soit l'artiste a conçu ce a une fascination avec Violet! Au point qu'il a incité Mon Sol! ” Rainbow could not understand a single thing of that sentence, but griffons usually have a strange accent to begin with! Even being with friends with one sometimes you can forget that she can understand a thing or two cents once a while rented some of her mannerisms are very much more different than this one, there are areas of the Griffin kingdom that have different dialects.
The helmets had special glass protective where, that was extremely tended! As they walked into a blinding room, at least if it was to not from the normal protection where! There was glowing rods that were being generated, with streams of electrical current flying from one to another! Different colors of lightning, the yellow ones were being captured in jars by Pegasus wearing slightly different uniforms and the ones that the tour group were wearing. Rainbow gave a small signal to let them know about turning on their microphones. If it wasn't for the design of the uniforms in question, everyone would be death in the room for the loud thundering noises!
Luna “More improved than old days! But still has some form of danger!” Watching the Pegasus jumping around in dark black lightning protective rubber suits! Their bodies were covered head to toe so you couldn't even tell what gender they were if it wasn't for the fact that their body shape, and even then with some minor pocket technology it's even hard to figure out, you would have to be really paying attention to the hips.
RD “Yes! This is where we convert the light into a different form of its plasma state, soon will go into the rooms that will change it into its other three states, in each room we are also collecting small amounts of magic, a.k.a. Mana! I'm sure the unicorns in the audience are noticing this! I warn you do not to your mystical power spells! I'm already serving community service I don't want to join those who are serving it in the afterlife!” HI magical areas are often coated with enough energy to enhance a unicorns mystical powers beyond normal residence! Almost like a temporary magic steroid.
All the unicorns gave a nice nod, as did the Princess of the Night! Before Rainbow continued her conversation! “In here is where we convert the light, into its electrical form! This is known as lightning, lightning will jump from cloud to cloud, and every cloud needs to have a source of lightning! Now back in the old days we would normally stick to just static electricity, but that became a little tasking an extremely tricky because static is not always easy to generate, also that caused a unique population explosion! Although that also made a lot of orphans, because when your parents are electrocuted to death while you are being conceived it kind of makes it hard for them to raise you!”
Many of ponies took this is a dark joke and laughed, Luna was strangely confused she never really encountered concept of dark humor before, this requires study with pinky pie! The griffons didn't find this funny because they actually are still doing the old methods, trying to compete with the power the weather factory!
RD “Although separating light does cause different colors, and once a while we find out that certain different colors of lightning have different effects! Yellow lightning is the most common one we use it though, although we do it once a while use blue we haven't figured out the pros and cons of the green and the orange but we have discovered that red lightning is good for healing! So we try our best to pipe the other colors to different locations!” Really hating trying to sound like an egg head, why couldn't she had something simple and cool will as her community service, like Border patrol OR changeling hunting!
As they walked through the area several unicorns start raising their hands! RD already figured out the question. This was a very common question that came up referring to Pegasuses. “While we are naturally resistant to most electrical shocks, multiple and repeated lightning strike can become lethal to a Pegasus. Also of lightning bolt does have a booster, for example this room.” As the continued walking they went towards the storage chambers, or to be exact the tube chambers that placed the different lightning bolts to storage locations within the actual factory! The jars were placed inside the cylindrical tubes, and send piping off to different locations!
RD “Here at the weather factory we make a lot more things than, just the weather! For example we also ship lightning to areas like the cloud house manufacturing sector, create unique cell batteries for powering devices that unicorns normally can only use, and a vast variety of other objects.” If it wasn't for her clothing and hat where, she would be probably taking her time to make her hair looked just like twilight's just to mock her, as the books are pretty much word for word. As they began navigating to another location, stopping off into a room to take off the extra clothing.
RD “We're about to head to the 100% Cooler! Figuratively and literally!” As they Heading into a room where there's only a window allowing them to look into a different room. Even though Pegasuses are capable of surviving very cold temperatures, with little or no clothing whatsoever! This was even chilly for them. As the group look through a window, inside the room they could see many of different types of clouds being made, each with their own separate cordoning off areas. Some clouds were being manufactured through heat, evaporating the liquids of water as well several others! As there were other variety of clouds needed for certain jobs, gas clouds of varieties of different gases. But there was also a chamber specially designed to make rainbow clouds, this was a side effect when you start freezing plasma, it must automatically divide into its basic colors, giving everything a bit of a rainbow tent! First off and foremost the plasma starts turning into cold plasma!
Then the cold plasma slowly starts to change(really slowly) into a gas, forming into clouds. The clouds that they form are extremely heavy in our sinking quickly to the ground, as such they dropped further and rest on to the ground of the containers that they are being placed in becoming a larger and larger cloud.
RD took out another cue card with a another trivia question. “ Trivia question! What type of clouds are these clouds known as?” Referring to the rainbow colored clouds!
Before the moon goddess could raise her hand for a challenging trivia question, a young filly beat her to the punch, as Rainbow selected! “It's obviously totally cool, there known as Neon clouds, where radically sent, to Las Pegasus!”
RD “Nice job squirt! But I don't see the other crusaders?” Hoping that the little Filly did not skip school again for another run to be with her idol.
Scootaloo “No worries! This time I have a note.” Giving a small piece of paper to Rainbow.She carefully checked it! Being an expert foraging documents. Namely forging her father's signature and several doctors, it was very rare for Her to actually forge her teacher signatures, but she did do it once in a while! But the signature was genuine, her little apprentice wasn't as skilled as she was when it came to in writing foraging, on many occasions she managed to use this to pull pranks on twilight! Although prepping for one was tricky considering surprisingly the Princess does not get many replies back from her sensei!
RD “Right, although Neon Clouds do not only go to Las Pegasus, several other locations to receive these types of clouds as well, and these clouds also do need shaping as they start off in their original format which is all colors.” As they head towards a room where there are several Pegasuses wearing a heavy fur coat at really really, and carry unique items. Almost like they were carrying crafting materials. As they come off certain chunks of the cloud, focusing on certain colors to cut out and molding them into shapes! Some neon clouds were turned into the shapes of traffic cones with yellow and black striping, there were a couple tricks of getting the color black with color Blending! Other signs with different colors were also being presented, and Rainbow being a bit of her own show off style! Flying into the room that they were looking through the window, and showing off some of her own styling techniques! Normally this would be very foolish, for handling raw neon clouds with your bare hands would normally give them severe cases of frostbite, but Rainbow was a bit special! And crafted her entire name in neon colors! Then the other craft ponies just kicked her out and were very angry! For she ruined the entire day's work!
After the severe tongue lashing, rainbow began to leave the group into a different chamber, a very familiar chamber.
RD was taking a long the group to a room filled with large baths of rainbow colored liquid, almost like they were walking over balconies (See episode: sonic rainboom for better description) in a paint factory, with the large pools of colored liquid around them in small balconies! Every so often the liquid was being pumped into the containers, to look like clouds were being deposited into the area and then melted down into liquid? For some type of strange device, during this process was pumping out clear glass panels. “This is the chamber where we make prism glass, as well as the chamber we have all the rainbow liquid! Side effect of making the prism glass creates rainbow liquid, we haven't really found the proper use for the stuff but! It does make excellent work for a non-reheating hot tub! Just don't drink it, unless you're a fan of 50,000 alarm chili.”
As smoke was coming out of the Princess of the night as she calmly replied “Not bad Need little bit of oregano. Perfectly edible if you could withstand temperatures.” Which got a couple looks but it's the Princess of the night over 1000 years of being out of touch with reality can cause you do things.
RD “Okay?” Rainbow thinking it's official those who bear the element of joy, have the ability to break all logic! Also she needs to spend some quality time with Luna to figure out what the heck are the bonus abilities of having the element of loyalty!
RD “Prism glass is used in almost every day life! Several objects have been re-modified to have prism glass in them, from gaming consoles to phones, from simple devices to the most complex! But we do need to figure out how to make certain other objects, as such we have discovered how to form some other liquids and solids appear as well.” Navigating to where each pool has been changed into different locations, while the excess is still being leaked out a factory in large amounts to make waterfalls and small rainbow colored rivers, now there's a variety of straining technology around those areas!
RD “Every day we keep learning new and advanced things about plasma! It is a amazing element and fantastic state of matter, and creating different types of plasma is really a challenge, as well is reverting certain things from one state to another. Light is the strangest of plasma as we don't know all the products, but now since we have started straining our liquid light, we have discovered that there are many things that it creates as unique metals have been discovered in this process. Rivaling even the beauty of gemstones created by Earth pony's, who cultivate certain rocks.” Placing her hand inside that the this of rainbow liquid, and pulling out a handful of metal pebbles all different colors, not transparent like last but more hard and solid! “Our next stop is to the furnace! Don't worry little fillies We're not going to melt down!” Doing some more teasing.
Which Luna was really upset about, all this nightmare fuel is going to make one heck of a busy work day, she wonders if this is a bit of payback for Rainbow being given community service by her sentence!
