The war has begun. Nopony is safe. The fate of Equestria lies in three ponies hooves. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and now Twilight Sparkle fight off the rebels in an attempt to save all of Equestria...
It was a beautiful day in ponyville. Rainbow Dash was doing her daily flight routine, zipping through rings made of clouds. She was happy in the sky, where nopony could bother her. She zoomed past the finish line. "Alright, a new record!", she shouted. Then she heard the gunshots.
Worried, she flew down to ponyville as fast as her wings could carry her. A bullet came out of nowhere and hit her wing, piercing straight through it. "Agghh!", she cried out in pain as she tumbled onto the ground roughly, opening her wound even further.
Slowly, she got back on her hooves. She examined her wound. Of course. She could see the bone. Luckily, there was an emergency med kit on a store wall. She punched straight through the glass and pulled it out. Her hoof was now covered in blood. "Ah, fuck it.", she said. She put ointment and wrapped gauze on her wing and her hoof.
"There, that's better.", she said as the ointment cooled her skin.
Then she heard somepony crying. She went to investigate. The farther she went through the city, the worse it looked. Blood, broken glass, demolished signs, as far as the eye can see. She found the source of the crying at Sugarcube Corner. The pony crying was Pinkie Pie.
"They're all dead.", Pinkie Pie replied. "Who's dead", Rainbow asked. "All of our friends. They're gone. Look." Pinkie pointed at bodies on the floor. She was right. The mangled, decaying bodies around them belonged to thier friends, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy.
"Holy shit, what happened here?!", Rainbow exclaimed.
"I was in here with them, and then somepony came in with a gun and started shooting everypony. I hid behind the counter, so he didn't see me. But he killed everyone else, including our friends." Pinkie Pie began to cry again.
Rainbow walked over to Twilight's body. There were bullet holes in her shoulder and thigh. Her eyes were still wide open in shock. "Even though you were an egghead, you were still one of the best friends I ever had." Rainbow gently closed Twilight's eyes.
The gunshot and missile noises were getting closer. "Come on Pinkie, we gotta go before they find us."
The party pony looked up at her with red, puffy eyes. "Alright, let's go."
They started walking. "By the way, what happened to your wing?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"Well, I was flying, when I heard gunshots. I started flying down here to investigate, when a bullet shot straight through my wing."
They came across a dead soldier, most likely a 'rebel' as Rainbow and Pinkie liked to call them. He had a gun laying on the ground next to him. "Aww, YEAH! A gun!", Rainbow said. She picked it up and gave it to Pinkie.
"I have wings so I don't need it." Pinkie put the strap along her back.
" Alright, LET'S DO THIS!", Pinkie Pie screamed. Then they walked out of Ponyville into the land of Equestria...
Pinkie and Rainbow were walking towards Canterlot. They had to pass through the Everfree Forest though. "Fuck!", Rainbow Dash said. "Dash, we have to be quiet. We don't want to be caught!", Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
The forest was dark. Rainbow Dash could barely see her own hooves in front of her. "Damn, it's dark in here.", Rainbow Dash said. "Who knows what kinds of danger that could be in here?"
Suddenly, she heard a gun being cocked. "Pinkie Pie, don't move, and have your gun at the ready!" , Rainbow Dash shouted. Pinkie Pie pulled her gun out, cocked it, and pointed it at the trees.
"ATTACK!", a mysterious voice shouted out loud. Suddenly, rebels started coming out of the trees and into the clearing. All of thier guns were pointed at Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. "FIRE!", the mysterious voice shouted. Both the rebels and Pinkie Pie started shooting, while Rainbow Dash punched at the enemy.
When the smoke cleared, there were no sounds. A voice said "Please, help me.", as the owner of the voice slowly dragged himself to them. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash both looked at each other, nodding slowly. They both knew that the best thing to do was to put the poor stallion out of his misery. Pinkie Pie cocked her gun, pointed it at his head, and, reluctantly, pulled the trigger.
The stallion lived no more. As did the rest of the rebels. "We will be back! Our war for power is not over!", the mysterious voice said once more, before they heard rustling in the trees. Then there was silence.
"So that's what they want.", Rainbow Dash said.
"If they only wanted power, they didn't have to kill our friends!", Pinkie Pie shouted.
"Be quiet, we don't want any more rebels to find us." Rainbow Dash said. "Let's continue on to Canterlot." Then they headed to Canterlot...
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie walked on. Then, they finally arrived at Canterlot. "Alright, finally. We made it to Canterlot!", Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"It's about time!", Pinkie Pie said.
They took a break on a bench. The city looked great. Ponies were walking around, chatting with each other. No war going on what so ever. Wait a second, the war!, Rainbow Dash thought to herself. We have to warn every pony about the war! "Pinkie Pie, we have to tell the people about the war that's going on!"
"Oh yeah, let's hurry to the town hall!
The mayor was waiting in her office. "Is there anything I can do for you two nice mares?", she asked Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.
"Yeah, there is. We need you to warn the town about the war that's going on!", Pinkie Pie shouted.
"What do you mean, war? Nothing's happened here."
Then ponies started screaming. Guns were blaring. "Shit, they're here already!", Rainbow Dash shouted.
"Who's here?", the mayor asked, scared.
"The rebels!", Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Do you have any guns, mayor!", Rainbow Dash asked frantically.
"Yes, I have a rifle in case of emergency."
"Well, I need it!", Rainbow Dash said, breaking the glass with her elbow. She tried cocking the gun, but it didn't work. "Where's the ammo!", she shouted.
"It should be in the compartment under the desk." Rainbow Dash yanked open the cabinet. Two boxes. Great. But ammo is ammo, so Rainbow Dash grabbed both boxes.
"Alright, let's move out Pinkie!"
The once calm, beautiful city was now a chaotic wasteland. Ponies were being shot left and right. One of the rebels that were shooting noticed Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, and charged at them. Pinkie Pie tried to shoot, but it wouldn't work. "Dash, I'm jammed! You shoot him!", she said. Rainbow Dash cocked her gun, took aim, and fired. The bullet barely missed his head.
"Fuck!", she shouted, reloading her rifle. The rebel was really close now. Once again, Rainbow Dash cocked her gun, took aim, and fired. The rebel fell to the ground. Rainbow Dash went to see where the bullet landed. Huh. Right between the eyes.
"Dash, I don't mean to interrupt, but we need to GET OUT OF HERE!", Pinkie Pie screamed. More rebels were running toward them.
"Agreed, let's get out of here." Then they ran off, away from Canterlot, into the unknown.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie somehow ended up in Sweet Apple Acres. "How did we get back here?" Rainbow asked "No clue!", Pinkie replied. They found Granny Smith sitting on the barn's porch, weeping for her lost grandaughter. Big Macintosh was attemting to comfort her. "Hey Granny Smith!", Rainbow shouted. "You need to get everyone out of here RIGHT NOW!" "What did'ya just say!" Then the bullet went through her head "Sweet horseapples!", Big Macintosh shouted. "Revenge time!", said the familiar voice. Bullets came flying out of nowhere. Everyone took cover behind some hay. "Shit, they found us!", Rainbow shouted over the sound of gunshots. "I thought we had lost them!", Pinkie replied. They both cocked their guns. "On three.. One... Two... THREE!" Both mares released fire. Rebels went down left and right. Rainbow started to flap her wings. "Fuck yeah! I can fly again!" She proceeded to fly up to the roof. She used her rifle to pick of the rebels one by one. A rebel threw a knife at Pinkie. "Pinkie Pie, duck!" "A duck! Where, where!" Rainbow closed her eyes as she heard the knife find it's target. She looked down behind the haystack. Pinkie was looking down at something. Rainbow flew down to investigate. Suprisingly, Big Macintosh had jumped in the way and took the knife. It had hit him straight in the heart. His lips, with one last breath, said: "You can do it. *Cough*. You can stop this war, and bring peace back to Equestria." Then he closed his eyes. "Goodbye, Big Macintosh. Rest in peace." Rainbow turned to face her friend. "Come on, Pinkie. Let's take out these rebels. Shot by shot. Bullet by bullet. They finished the rest of the rebels. "We will be back! You have not seen the last of us!" And with that, the owner of the voice left. "Alright, let's get going, before it gets dark.", Rainbow told Pinkie. And then, they walked of into the sunset...
Rainbow and Pinkie were both tired. They walked almost everywhere. "Hey Pinkie, wanna take a break?" "What do you think?" They set up camp. (Due to the fact that they found camping gear in a dead rebel's saddlebag). And, finally able to relax, Rainbow finally closed her eyes and drifted off.....
"Rainbow Dash? Rainbow DASH! WAKE UP! Rainbow Dash wearily opened her eyes, listening to the sound of Pinkie Pie screaming at her and the blare of gunshots. She jolted up. "Rainbow Dash, Big Macintosh, it turns out, was working for the rebels! That knife had a tracking device on it. He must of secretly put it on us before he died!" A Bullet went through the tent. "Yeah, Yeah, less talkie more shootie! Both mares grabbed their guns. "Pinkie, you provide ground fire, I'll Go up and snipe from a tree." "Got it!" They both went where they were supposed to go. Rainbow sniped while Pinkie provided cover fire. At one point, an enemy threw a grenade at Rainbow. "Dash, look out!", Pinkie Pie shouted over the gunfire as she shot the grenade mid-flight. Her bullet missed, but the grenade bounced of the tree and at the rebels. "Oh shi-"... The rebel was cut off as the grenade exploded, killing all of the rebels. As the smoke cleared, Rainbow could faintly hear a voice say: "Well, well, well. You finally caught me." She could never really make out the voice when far, but it sounded like it was way closer, and the voice was all too familiar. "Discord!", Rainbow shouted. "Yes, it is I, and I would like to inform you of something. I have been leading the, what do you call them, ahem, 'rebels', the whole time. "Wait a minute, YOU KILLED OUR FRIENDS!", Pinkie Pie screamed at Discord. "I thought you changed.", Rainbow added. Discord stepped more into the light. "Just because you think of something, doesn't mean you must believe it.", he said."Let me tell you a story. After I was freed, I was never happier. I thought I could do what I wanted. But oh, no, you used me for your little, ' friendship problems '. I became slightly mad, but Fluttershy helped calm me down. Then, Tyrek used me as a pawn in his quest for power. I was FURIOUS! I wanted my own power. I wanted to rule Equestria. That's why I formed the rebels. To get enough power to rule EVERYTHING!" Discord started to laugh maniacally. "Get your ass over here so I can beat the shit out of you!", Rainbow screeched at the villain. "Now, now. There's no need to be so brutal. I'll make a deal with you." Discord poofed Twilight's corpse onto the ground. "If you let me go, I will bring her back to life. Do we have a deal?", Discord said as his arm popped out of its socket towards Rainbow. .............. "Fine, we have a deal.", Rainbow said, shaking the disembodied arm. "Great then. Well, tata!", he said, snapping his fingers, then disappearing. Twilight's body suddenly started moving. "Twilight!", Pinkie said, rushing over to Twilight's body. Twilight slowly got to her hooves. "Hey girls!", she said. "Long time no see!" They all hugged. Rainbow and Pinkie told Twilight about everything that happened so far. Then, they went off in search of Discord...
It was cold. Rainbow Dash tried to get warm in her sleeping bag, but couldn't. Discord was purposely messing with the temperature so that they couldn't find him. Some days it was freezing, some days it was wearing hot. Yet on and on the three heroes trekked, attempting to find the leader of the rebels. They were attacked many times. Somehow, they always managed to get away unscathed. Suddenely, the ground started to shake. Rainbow went out of her tent to see that Pinkie Pie and Twilight were already up, and Twilight was trying to use magic on something. "What's going on?!", Rainbow shouted over the rumbling earth. "Twilight's trying to use a new spell!", Pinkie replied. The earth stopped shaking, and Twilight collapsed onto the ground. "Twi, are you okay?", Rainbow asked the tired alicorn. "I'm fine, but we really need this spell.", Twilight said, getting back on her hooves. "Alright, let's find Discord!" They hiked up and down, left and right, but they couldn't find the enemy that they were looking for. "Fuck!", Rainbow screeched, standing at the top of a mountain. A poof of smoke appeared, and Discord walked out of it. "I'm gonna KILL YOU!!!", Rainbow screamed, charging at the figure. But she went right through it. "Ah, ah, ah. You can't kill a hologram, you know. "What do you want?!", Rainbow snorted. "No need to be rude, Rainbow my dear. I just came to tell you where I am." "We're listening.", she replied. "If you want to find me, look where the 'Tree of Harmony' is. I'll be waiting for you there. Ta-ta!" And with that, he disappeared in a puff of smoke. "Come on girls. Let's go beat that son of a bitch's ass!" "Agreed!" "Alright!"
They traveled through the Everfree Forest, attempting to reach the Tree of Harmony. When they got there, they found Discord, sitting on a branch. "Hello, and welcome to my future throneroom!", he said with a sly grin "Well, we've come to take you down!", Pinkie Pie replied. "We'll see about that!", he said, throwing a fireball at her. The fireball hit her directly in the chest, burning her fur and flinging her against the wall. Rainbow charged at the fiend, only to be grabbed by the wing, and have it snapped by Discord, the flung agains the wall as well. He then said "How pitiful, I thought that you would last longer. Oh well. Goodbye, Twilight Sparkle! He took in a deep breath, then exhaled fire on Twilight. The smoke cleared, revealing an unharmed Twilight. "WHAT! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!, Discord shouted, nearly losing his balance on the branch. "The Tree of Harmony is magical enough to protect anypony. And I can also use that power to do this!" The earth began to shake again. The ground cracked open to reveal Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack. Rainbow and Pinkie walked up to Twilight unharmed. "Let's finish him off, girls!", Twilight said. "Right!", everypony agreed. The Tree of Harmony started to glow. Discord's tail started to become stone. "No please! I'll do anything! NOOOOOOO- He was cut off as his head became stone. "Alright, we did it!", Rainbow shouted. "Yeehaw!", Applejack said. "Celabratory party at my house!", Pinkie shrieked, bouncing up and down. "Yay!", said Fluttershy quietly.
And so, our heroes went to Pinkie Pie's house and had the biggest party ever...
