Flash learns one lesson in life. Keep lovers close, but keep secrets closer.
When the Royal guard, Flash Sentry, is given three weeks off of duty, due to stress, he travels to his once home, Canterlot , where he meets the newest princess in Equestria. He immediately falls for Twilight, but knows it's not right. The two become close companions, closer than they'd ever expect them to be.Maybe even, to close, almost to the point of sharing their secrets.
This is not suitable for kids(6-9, or people under 13). It includes foal language, some gory scenes(SOME. I will warn you when that part happens),some sexual scenes(I will warn you about that, too),and yes, it includes Flash Sentry, so if your not a Flashlight fan, or a Flash fan at all, then you might wanna get out. Don't bother to comment, or dislike. If you do comment something rude(talking to everyone here), I will remove that comment, and hope that you won't comment again like that. Anyways,Hope you enjoy!
The light orange pegasi looked around him, to see that he was in a forest.
*Why the hell am I in a forest? Shouldn't I be in the Crystal Empire?* Than he heard somepony trotting near him. He looked to the right to see a light blue pegasus, with a dark blue main, with strokes of white.
"You lied to me," He quickly stated.Flash then realized who this strange Pegasus was.
"River Blaze? What am I doing here?" He asked his older brother, who scoffed.
"I could ask you the same. Where were you?" Flash raised an eyebrow,then realized what was going on.
"I.."Flash hesitated.
*If I tell him the truth, he will die.*
"I was where I was supposed to be." River Scowled.
"Your lying. Now either you will tell me the truth, or so help me, I will get our father!" Flash bit his lip.
"I.." River clenched his teeth.
"If your not gonna tell me the truth, Ill just leave." River stormed off onto the cliff that had came out of no where. Then, the ground shook.
"No!" Flash yelled,but it was to late.
"NO!" He woke up with a gasp, then started breathing heavily.He shook his head, and sighed.
*Another nightmare. Great.*Flash thought to himself. He sat on the edge of his bed, looking out of his window, that gleamed the moonlight in his room. He had just awoken from another nightmare.He had been having nightmares for a week now, that showed his past, but in the most cruelest way. He didn't know why this was happening, but he wanted it to end. He didn't want to see his dark past, or talk about it, with anypony. He just wanted some peace, for once in a lifetime.
The light orange pegasi shook his head at the memories. Those were the scars that he has covered from his fellow guard mates, but one of them was an exception, the pony that was his foe.His name, was Thistle Spear.Both him and Thistle hated each other, since kindergarten,ever since Flash's mother died. The two had apparently wanted the same job, in being a royal guard. Ever so often, the two would be in the same area, which meant trouble.
"Maybe one day I will finally be in peace" Flash whispered to himself.With that, he tucked himself into bed, and went back to sleep.He didn't have high hopes about having peace, because the darkness in his past, never left him. The scars of his past never vanished, they just were hidden,from any and everypony, a secret he vow to long keep into his soul until the very day he died.
Somewhere in Ponyville
"What the-?" The velvet alicorn looked around her, to see only black. There was no notice, or sign of any other living thing besides her.
"Hello?" Twilight asked, but there was no answer.
"Hello? Anypony there?" No answer.
*Odd...* She thought to herself. That's when there was a flash of blue light,and everything turned white. Next thing she knew, she was falling, falling into the ocean. Her eyes widened, but then she remembered, she was an alicorn.
*Thats right! I can just use my-*She looked at where her wings used to be, but they weren't there anymore.
*What!?* That's when she realized, she had fallen into the water. She tried to move, but she was petrified. If she didn't get out of the water soon, she would drown. Was this the end for her? What would happen next? What about her friends? What about Ponyville? All these questions stuck in her head. She woke up with a scream, eyes widened. She then looked around her to see that she was in her room, In her castle.
Gasping for air, she got out of bed and looked out the window. The sun peeked through the mountains,making it day. Ponies strolled throughout Ponyville, talking to one another.
"Normal, but..."Then, she looked at her baby dragon, who lay in his bed, sucking his thumb. She sighed.
"Everything is normal. Thank Celestia." She then turned back around and kneeled down on the floor. She looked under her bed, horn sparked with light, until she found it. She pulled it out with a spark of her horn, and placed it in her hooves.'It', was an old book, that was a grayish blue color, almost making it look like mold. The books cover was almost completely torn up, and the picture was almost faded. It was a picture of a blue moon, and a red one, colliding in the middle, making a white color. The title was to faded for anyone-Pony, to see. She opened the book to the last page she was reading. Page 145. There was a picture to the left that showed a black pony, casting a shadow, eyes red. The title of the chapter read,'Blood Shedders'. Twilight immediately raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Blood Shedders?What are those? Princess Celestia never told me about those....odd of her.Its like, she wanted to hide it, from anypony, which would mean, she not as truthful as every pony thought which means-"Twilight smacked herself with her right hoof."Dont be ridiculous! She would never hide anything from anypony, especially not me!" She heard a groan behind her, which made her turn her head to see Spike, stretching. Once he was done, he rubbed his eyes, and looked at Twilight.
"Are you talking to yourself again?" With that, she clenched her teeth.
*Shit! Curse me and me talkIng to myself, as always!*
"W-what do you mean, Spike?" She said, forcefully making a toothy smile.
"I heard you talking about something called, Flood Readers, or something like that, then Celestia, then-"
"Good! SomeDragon knows how to easedrop while he sleeps! How about if you go downstairs, and go make yourself some waffles!" Twilight Interrupted.Spike raised an eyebrow.
"Are you alright, Twilight, you sound a little-"
"Sleepy? Oh I should go to bed then!"She secretly slide the book back under the bed with her hoof, and jumped on the bed, and pretended to snore.She had not told any pony about the book, not even her friends, or Celestia. She decided to keep it a secret, but didn't know why.Spike yawned.
"Typical Twilight Sparkle!" Spike grabbed the blanket on Twilights bed, and tucked her in.
"Good night Twilight. I mean, Good, morning!" He chuckled. He then left the room with his Rarity Plush toy, and went downstairs. Twilight opened one eye to see if he was gone, and smiled. Her horn lit up with a magenta aurora, and the book from under her bed flew up in the air, and into her hooves. She then tucked herself in, making herself covered by the blanket, and began to read.
Little do Flash and Twilight know, all secrets, must be revealed. One way or another.
"Whats wrong?" his friend, Silver Shield asked.Flash looked up at his friend, with a very disgusted face.
"You know what." The light grey pegasi sighed. Before he could say anything, the black unicorn, Midnight Aurora interrupted.
"Another nightmare, I suppose?" She asked, cyan eyes, saddened.Flash groaned, and put his head down. Not in his bowl, but on the table, since Midnight moved it to the side with a spark of her magic, which matched the color of her eyes.
"Someones not in a good mood." Silver mumbled, with a mouthful of a pancakes.
"Heard that!" Flash groaned, without looking at his friends.Angered,Midnight hit Silver's Head.
"Ow! What in Equestria was that for?"Silver asked, rubbing the spot she hit.
"Our friend isn't himself today, and your over here, eating a chocolate pancake!"
"Blueberry." Silver mumbled.
"Don't care!"
"You dont care about pancakes?"
"NO! Not right now! Besides, I hate blueberry!" Silver gasped.
"How dare you! Blueberry is the best flavor of pancakes!"
"Opinion."Midnight rolled her eyes, not caring.
"Thats a fact!"
"Opinion!"
"FACT!" So the two argued, while Flash tried to cover his ears.Thats when he had had enough.He slammed a hoof on the table.
"WOULD YOU TWO STOP ARGUING!? I NEED SOME PEACE AND QUIET!" The two got quiet, including the whole cafeteria itself. Everypony looked at their table, with widened eyes.
"What are you looking at?" Flash asked, which made everything go back to normal.
"Nosy ponies." Flash mumbled.
"We're sorry Flash, we just got caught up in the argument,"Midnight apologized.
"Its alright. I understand how you two just love to argue!" Flash said, sarcasticly.Midnight shook her head.
"I dont, but Silvia over here does!" She said, pointing at Silver, who rolled his eyes.
"Look whos talking!The mare that always starts the argument!Half the time its about egg head stuff! Well, she is an egg head, anyway-"
"Am not!" Midnight interrupted.
"Are to!" The two began the argument.Flash rolled his eyes,and turned his head to the right to see Princess Cadence talking to the Captain of the Royal guards in Canterlot. Moon Shield. The blue unicorn got a glance of him looking, and smiled.He had been Flash's 'mentor' before he moved to the Crystal Empire. Moon Shield was a good friend to Flash,and to his mother,Moonlit Lullaby.
Cadence looked at Moon Shield, then at Flash, and realized how tired he looked.Once it was time for everypony to leave, Flash, Midnight,and Silver walked tword the exit.Before they could go up the stairs, they were stopped by Princess Cadence. All three bowed infront of her, until she gave the signal to rise.
"Flash Sentry, may i have a word with you, alone?" He looked at his friends, and cocked his head to the stairs, telling them to go.
"Of course, your Majesty." With that, the two walkedFlash, beside Cadence ,walked down the Crystal Empire halls, nervous.
*Whats going on? Why does she want to talk to me? What did I do?* He shook the thoughts out of his head, and looked at the floor, to see the reflection of himself.He scowled.
*Why do I have to look at myself, every day!?* Little did he know, he had caught the sight of Cadence.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.Flash looked at her, wide eyed.
"No." He said, angrily,than he shook his head.
"No. Nothing,is wrong." He said, sadly. He looked away from her, and at the wall.
"Why are you, angry?" Cadence asked, calmly.Flash looked back up at her, saddened eyes.
"I-im not," Flash paused. He was about to yell at her, his own leader.He took a deep breath, and tried his best to remain calm.
"Angry.... I'm just, very depressed." Cadence cocked her head.
"Why- if... you don't mind me asking- are you depressed?" Flash pricked his ears down.
"Because, I..... have been reminded of my dark past."
"How so?" Cadence asked, cocking her head slightly to the side.
"Nightmares. I haven't been able to sleep anymore,with those, dark memories, flooding in my head." Cadence's ears quickly propped down.
"That's why you always look so tired these days...." She said, sadly.
"I'm.. sorry for asking those questions."
"No, its alright. Besides, I would have to tell some pony about this some day. Guess that day was today." He sighed. Cadence put one of her wings over him.
"Im sorry for you." Flash's eyes filled with doubt, that was pure to see for everypony."Really. I am." He smiled.
"Thank you, princess." Her wing closed back up to its normal position.
"You know... How about you, have three weeks off?" This caught Flash's attention.
"You mean it? But what about Shining Armour?" Cadence chuckled.
"My husband will have to deal with it, even though he will put up a good fight, since you are,one of his best royal guards." Flash smiled.
"Thank you, princess." "My pleasure. Now, go have some fun! That's an order!" Flash chuckled.
"Now that, I can handle!" With that, Flash began his free days off. Little did he know, this would lead to an unexpected event.
"It's only for three weeks,honey!" Cadence replied, casually."He needs it!"Shining shook his head no.
"I am not losing one of my best guards because some, dumb vacation, Cadence!" He angrily replied, as he sat down on there bed.
"Shiny, pwease!" Cadence asked, in a baby voice.
"Don't you, Shiny, me!" Shining replied, which made Cadence droop her head down, and sigh.
"Can I at least tell you why I let him go on a three day vaca?" She asked. Shining sighed.
" Go ahead. " He replied, grumpily. Cadence explained how Flash wasn't acting himself for a while, how he always looked so tired, and how he had nightmares at night about his past.All the way through, Shining nodded.
"So can he please be able to have some free time?" Cadence asked, begging him.He gave her a stern look In the eye, then set his head down.
"Fine." Cadence smiled, and hugged him tight.
" Um, cant...breath! " Cadence gasped, and let go of her husband, who was gasping for air.
" Sorry!" She chuckled. Shining smiled.
" I'm not going to forgive you that easily, Cadence! "He said, playfully.
"Why not? Is there at least one way to make you forgive me?" She asked, sitting down next to him.A smirk went on his face.
"Yes, there is a way."
"And what is that?"Shining chuckled, then pushed her down flat on the bed.
" Does this, answer your question?" He asked, chuckling.
" I dont know ,maybe you should.... show me?" Cadence asked, as a blush faded on to her cheeks. Shining's smile only grew bigger.
*Meanwhile...*
Flash stood at the train station, his belongings in the saddlebag that sat on his back, with his cutiemark on it.He waited for the train, just like fifteen other ponies. For some reason, he felt as if he was being watched by one of them. He shook the feeling off of his shoulders, and waited, patiently.
"Hey! Where's the Train!?" A light blue grey pegasi colt asked."I've been waiting for an hour!" Flash raised an eyebrow by what he said.
*I was here before him, and it's been twenty minutes. Not even!*
"Swift Breeze, clam your mouth shut!" A unicorn colt, with a red coat and a black and blue mane and tail mummbled.
"Make me, slut!" As soon. As the last word came out, everypony, except for Flash, gasped. The red colts eyes widened with anger.
"What the hell did you call me!?"He asked, angrily.
" A slut! Why? Can't handle the truth, mommas colt?" Cooes rang out.The unicorn pony walked up to Swift Breeze, close, so close, there muzzles almost touched.
"Better watch your tongue, before I cut it out of your throat!" Swift Breeze snorted.
"Try me!" As soon as the words came out of him, five of the ponies that stood waiting jumped on him, one of which was a white unicorn colt.His blue aurora of magic pulled out Swift's tongue, which struggled to get back into his mouth.
"Your gonna regret those words, chump!"A knife floated into the air, and swooped down tword Swifts tongue. Before it could cut him, a certain blue haired light orange pegasi quickly pushed the unicorn down.
"Knock it off!"He yelled. All the ponies that were on Swift quickly came off.He stood up, and smiled at Flash.
"Hey! Mind your bloody business!" A green unicorn said to him.
"Im glad I didnt, because," Flash picked up the knife with his hoof, carefully not touching the metal blade."It wouldn't be very pretty." Before anything else could happen, the screeching of a train echoed threw out the station. The train stopped in front of the fellow ponies.
"All abored!" Swift sighed in relief, and walked up to Flash.
"Thanks." Flash smiled at him.
" Your welcome." The two walked into the train, side by side.
"What's your name, and nickname?" Swift asked.
"Flash Sentry, but I am recalled as Flash." Swift smiled.
"The names Swift Breeze, but I go by,'SUPER AWESOME BAD ASS MOTHA FUCKA!" Flash put a hoof over his mouth.
"Are you trying to get your tongue cut off!?" He asked.Swift rolled his eyes."I'll just call you Swift." He said, chuckling. He took his hoof of Swift's mouth.
"Fine. You can call me,'Swift!' Even though that's a lame nickname." The two sat down in a seat, next to each other."Where you going? " He asked.
"Canterlot." Swift gasped.
"No way! So am I!"He then spit in his hoof, and extended it tword Flash."Friends?" Flash hesitated. "C'mon! You know you wanna shake it!" Flash rolled his eyes, spit in his own hoof, and shook."Glad to have a fellow matey on the ship!"He said, with a pirate voice. Flash chuckled.
" Glad to be here!" He replied. That's when the feeling of being watched again. He looked behind Swift, who raised an eyebrow.
"Something wrong?"He asked. Flash didn't reply. His eyes widened when he realized, he was being watched, by a black unicorn colt, with cyan eyes. Neither of them broke the stare.
"Flash!" He looked at Swift,who had a concerned look in his eyes. " You okay?" He nodded,and looked back at the unicorn. His eyes widened.The unicorn, was gone.

They are the rarest breed of Blood Shedders '?*"What the hell!?" Twilight axidently said out loud. The door burst open to reveal a flying light blue pegasi, with a rainbow mane and tail.
"What's wrong!? Was there a monster!?" She asked, joyfully on the monster part.Twilight rolled her eyes.
"No, there's no monster." Rainbow Dash made a disapointed look at her, then looked at Twilight's book.
" Watcha got there?" She asked Her. Twilight immediately hid the book under her pillow.
" Nothing!"A huge smile came onto her face.Rainbow raised an eyebrow.
" Twilight? What's going on?" She asked, as she landed onto the ground.
"Nothing!" Rainbow gave a 'really?' Face, which Twilight immediately understood."Yes, really!"
"Ya, uh, Twilight? Can I be the first to tell you that your not a good lier! Now, what is going on? " Twilight gulped.
" I...." She cleared her throat. " Nothing, is wrong, now, can you please, get out?"
"Ya...I'm not leaving! One way or another, Twilight!" Twilight scowled.
" RD, I said, No!" Rainbow scowled back at her.
" Fine! Guess it's going to be the hard way!" She jumped,expecting Twilight to duck, but she never did. She landed on top of her, who was lying down on the bed now. Rainbows eyes widened when she realized what she had just done.
"Hey Twilight I- Wooow!" The two looked to see Spike, standing there, eyes widened.
"What's wrong Spike? Is there somethi- Holy Shit!" Applejack now stood at the door, eyes widened like everypony else in the room, and dragon. Rainbow Dash immediately got off of the bed, and blushed.
"I-it wasn't what it looked like!" She immediately stated, but AJ just smiled.
" Ya, sure you were 'axidently' on top of Twilight, making it 'axidently' look like you two were having se-" Before she could finish, Rainbow Dash quickly flew over to her, and put a hoof over her mouth.
" Dont, you even!" She said, and took her hoof off of her mouth.
" I was just kidding with y'all! Besides, I'm perfectly fine with the fact that you two were makin-"
" WE WEREN'T!"Both Twilight and Rainbow replied at the same time. Applejack rolled her eyes.
" Suuuure!" She chuckled. "Why don't you two come downstairs and have diner? We're having something mighty find tonight!" She whistled. Everypony, and Spike, went downstairs to enjoy their meal.
~Meanwhile in Canterlot~ "Finally! Home sweet home, right?" Swift asked Flash, who nodded. They had just gotten off the train, after a three hour ride."Man, I've missed this place. How about me and you hang out sometime?"
"Sure. But not today. How about tomorrow at the park. 4:30 p.m.,maybe?" Swift nodded.
"Be there!" With that, the two separated.
"Finally, home." Flash smiled, as he walked down the sidewalk.
*Why haven't I heard about these things before? I read almost all of the books in a library! I'm supposed to read everything!*" UGH!" Twilight thought out loud, which made all eyes focus on her, and only on her.
"What's up with you, sugarcube?" AppleJack asked, concerned.Twilight shook her head, as she picked at the spaghetti on her plate with her floating fork."C'mon! You can tell us! We're your friends! Right, y'all?"
"Why, yes darling!"Rarity agreed."You can tell us anything!" Twilight shook her head no.
"C'mon, Twi!Its not like were gonna spill everything to everypony, and then everything goes woopsy doopsy, and then a vicious monster will come, and try to terminate us all!" Pinkie said, casually. All eyes were on her now, widened."Wwwwhhhaaaat?" She asked.
"Thank you, a pinkie pie."Applejack replied, harshly, giving her a look.Twilight giggled.
"Okay,Fine. I'll tell you, as soon as I'm ready." Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow.
"Uh huh? What about your, book?" She asked, with a wink. Twilight smiled.
"Oh... It's about, you know.... egghead stuff!" Rainbow smiled back.Twilight got up from her seat, and walked up the first three steps on the stairs."I think I should go upstairs, a-and finish my, book!" With that, she ran upstairs into her room.
"What was that all about?" Rarity asked. Rainbow Dash shrugged.
"Peets me. Some straaaaaange business is going on with that egghead!" She flew up from her seat, and looked at Pinkie."C'Mon, Pinks! Me and you need a little, talk." Pinkie raised an eyebrow.
"About what?"
"Oh, I don't know, just a talk about, eggs." Rainbow added with a wink. Pinkie smiled.
"Ooooooooh!Okay!" She got up from her seat, and walked with Rainbow into the kitchen. Little did they know, Applejack had high suspicions that they were going to talk about something more than just eggs.
~Meanwhile in Canterlot~ Flash looked at the light purple door, with saddened eyes.* Almost three years, since I've seen this place.The last time I was here,I......* He shook the memory out of his head, and raised his hoof, then stopped. He looked down at the concrete stairs he stood upon, trying to forget all the hatred that was spread that last night he was there.*Just....do it.*. He knocked on the door, then stood there, waiting.
"Coming!" He heard a mare call out. The door opened to reveal a silver blue unicorn, with a darker colored mane and tail, with dark purple eyes.She looked as if she hadn't slept for a year.Flash easily noticed this.Before either of them could say anything, the unicorn almost fell, if it wasn't for Flash, who caught her.
"Silver! Are you okay?" Silver raised an eyebrow.
"Do I know you?" She asked, confused.Flash's eyes widened.
"It's me, Flash Sentry?" She still looked confused.Flash groaned at this.
"Doesn't ring a bell." She replied, casually. He let go of her, and raised an eyebrow. That's when he realized, she was half asleep. He rolled his eyes at this, and then smiled.
"Hey look! It's Blueblood!" He pointed inside the house, which made her eyes widen.She quickly turned her head around.
"WHERE!?" Flash laughed. Silver turned her head around to look at him with a scowl.
"You ......should've .......seen your face!" He said, trying not to laugh again, which he failed at.
"You should see your face after I knock you out!" She grumbled, then shook her head, eyes widened."Wait a minute! What are you doing here!?" When Flash tried to say something, she interrupted."Fuck that!" She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Glad.... To see you to!" The hug went on for what seemed like hours."Um....Silver? Can you please, oh I don't know, LET GO?!" She immediately let go, smiling.
"Sorry, I just, got over excited." She Chuckled, while Flash rubbed the back of his neck with his hoof.
"Celestia, you have a grip!" He smiled."How has, Amber been?" He asked, which made her smile.
"Oh I don't know, having fun with her friends from school, missing you, eating yo-"
"Wait what!?" Silver smiled.
"She misses you,a lot!Five seconds a day going, 'Where's Flash?' or,' When is Flash gonna come back', and blah blah blah!!" Flash smiled, and bent over to her ear.
"How about if we surprise her then?" Silver smiled, then nodded.
"Would you like to come in?" Silver asked, unblocking the doorway for Flash. He smiled, and walked in, getting a glance at the starry dusk sky "What do you think?" Silver asked, gesturing with her head at the living room..Flash looked around the inside of the house,and whistled.
"You did a lot of decorating while I was gone!" The unicorn only smiled.
"It wasn't my idea, it was Amber's. She wanted to make this place look more, how should I say it? Appealing to a certain some pony." She looked at him and smiled.
"Who would that be?" Flash asked, clearly clueless.Silver rolled her eyes.
"You!" She replied, chuckling. Flash's eyes widened.
"Oooooooooh. Wait, what?" Silver chuckled, and walked into a room,making Flash follow.
"She always knew you'd come back, but, unfortunately for me, I barely had my hopes up. I figured you, would just, never come back, even when you had the time. After all, who would, want to come back into this house,after what happened the last time you were here."She sadly said. Flash stepped by her left side, and put one of his wings over her back.
"Your thinking about Ash pool, aren't you?"Silver nodded."He was a dick. He shouldn't have done those things to you, and Amber. Calls it the Devils making. I call it an ass hole bitch that only thinks about his fucking self all the damn time, and won't even prove that was his fucking mind that did that bull shit to you and Amber, that fucking Jack ass bit-" he was about to raise his tone when Silvers hoof quickly laid on his lip.
"Flash, calm down!" Silver chuckled. "We want to surprise Amber, remember?" She whispered, and took her hoof off of his lips, and rested it on his shoulder, pushing him a little away from her side. Flash's wing folded back onto his side, as he gently pushed her back. Silver chuckled." Old habits never die, huh?"
"What do you mean?"
" You always fight fire with fire."She smiled at him, which made him smile back. Silver laughed.
"What?"
"You just did your habit! When I smiled at you, you smiled back at me!"
"Just trying to return the favor." He grumbled.
"You always, return the favor, no matter what." Silver said with a smile, remembering all those memories." You've always been loyal to me and Amber. Maybe one day I can return the favor. " She whispered, which made Flash blush, embarrassed by her words. Then he remembered.
"Aren't we supposed to be doing something.....oh I don't know.... surprising Amber!?" Silver gasped. That's when the sound of thumps came from above there very heads, making there ears twitch, and eyes widen.
"Hide!" Silver whispered. Flash did as told, and hid behind the door."Really!? Is that-"
"Mom? What going on?" A light yellow unicorn asked, yawning. Her mane and tail were a mix of light blue, dark. Her eyes were a mix of different shades of blue. The darkest, and the lightest, and little tiny dots of purple.
" Nothing, sweetie! I just, got caught up in work!" Silver nervously chuckled.
"Mom? Are you lying? Cause I sense your hiding something, and that you weren't doing work." Flash's eyes widened.
* One hell of an observer, I hear. Just like her......father. * He frowned at the thought of him.
"Um, Amber? Can you close the door for me?" Silver asked, smiling, which made Amber raise an eyebrow, but she did not question. She did as told, then looked at Flash, no surprise in her face.
"Hi, Flash."
"Hello, Amber." She turned back to her mother, then her eyes widened.
"Flash!?! WHAT THE HAY!?" She immiediatly jumped on Flash,, making him fall to the floor, chuckling." Not trying to be rude, or anything ,but, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?"
"Thought I'd, take a little visit! Why? Do you me to leave?"
"Heck no!" She squealed.The two laid down, hugging each other, for what seems like years.Flash smiled at that. He would hug her no longer than what seemed to be an eternity. He didn't care that this might have taken one hour away from them.
"Ahem?" The two looked at Silver, who smiled.
"Were kinda busy at the moment!" Amber growled.
"Okay! Okay! I was just gonna tell you that I was going to be in my bedroom!" Silver chuckled, as she excited the room. Before she left, she whispered to Flash,"Have fun!" He only smiled.
*Believe me, I will!* Amber had her arms around him,squeezing the air out of his lungs.Even though that was happening, Flash didn't care. This was Amber he was with.Though he didn't want the hug to end, he knew it had to, one way or the other."Uh, Amber?" He asked.
"Hm?"
"Um......lets just say......I-I can't breath!" Amber gasped, and let go of him, who was chuckling.
"Sorry! I just haven't seen you in a, very, long time!" She chuckled, as they both sat up."Ive missed you." She continued,this time, not looking at him. Her eyes seemed to have been layered with sadness, as tears started filling them.Her ears drooped down to her sides,which made Flash realize, she was as depressed, as himself.
He put a wing over her, which made her eyes widen, and look at him with a confused look.
"What's wrong?" He asked.Her eyes looked into his own, clearly showing a river forming in them. Flash looked deep into her eyes, and realized how beautiful they were.It was as if the night sky outside of the window in the room had consumed them, wrapping them up in there starry blanket. He smiled, remembering who she got that from. somuch like your mother.He smiled at the thought.
"School."Amber sighed.
"What about school?" Amber let out another sigh."What is it?"
"It's just that.... Everypony else has there cutie mark, and I'm stuck here,With, a blank flank." Flash raised an eyebrow.
"Since when has Amber Stream ever talked about getting her cutie mark?" He asked, chuckling, which made Amber groan in anger.
"Since the two years you have been gone." She replied, harshly. Flash's eyes widened at her sudden anger with him.
"Wow, Amb, calm down! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!" Amber scowled at his sentence, and stood up.
"Well to bad! You already have, anyway, for never coming back here for two years!"She yelled at Flash, whos eyes widened even more.
"I'm sorry, I really wish I could have time for you,but orders are or-"
"Don't give me that stupid excuse!" Amber interrupted, her tone raising."You could have, at least given us a note, or two!Like, what the hell!?' Flash scowled at her last word and stood up on all fours.
"Don't you use that tone on me, and don't ever use that word!" He barked back, which made Amber's scowl deepen.
"You can't tell me what to do!"
"I'm an adult, Amber!"
"That doesn't mean bull!'
"Hey! Don't use that language with me!"
"I didn't exactly say it! Unless you want me to! BULL SHIT!"
"Stop cursing! Amber, I've known you since the day you were born!Your mother has given me permission to take care of you, since that very day, and that's what I'm trying to do, now listen."

"You are not, MY FATHER!" She yelled, at the top of her lungs, making Flash's ears fall down, and his eyes widen.
"Hey!" Silver pearl immiediatly walked in, and scowled at Amber."Go to your room,now!" Amber,let out an aggravated groan, but did what her mother told her to do. Silver then looked at Flash,her scowl, gone.Instead, it was replaced with concerned eyes. He walked right past her, and out of the room, quickly. Silver followed close behind."Flash, where are you going?"
"To my father's." He replied,still walking quickly, and not looking at her at all. A gasp escaped her lungs.
"What!? But Flash, Amber needs you!"
"Obviously, she doesn't want me here, and I don't want her to feel uncomfortable."
"Flash, look at me!" She boldy said. He stopped,for a moment or two, then turned, a scowl on his face, as he looked into her eyes."You are not going, to that house!You are going to stay here,-"
"No, Silver! I'm not gonna make that filly any more miserable! There is something going on at her school. I don't know what, but I don't want her to get angry at me, more than she is! I'm leaving."He walked to the door, while Silver stood there, still with a concerned look in her eyes.
"I'm not going to let you get beat to death." Flash stopped, eyes widened.
"H-how'd you-"
" She told me." His eyes widened even more.He had nothing else to say. The sound of hoofsteps began, louder as they approach him.A hoof landed on his shoulder, but he still didn't move."Stay here." He turned his head and looked at Silver,who looked at him back. A smile formed on her face,which he quickly returned. Indeed, habits never die.

"NOT NOW TWILIGHT!" Pinkie quickly ran up to her side."AJ is after me!"Twilight raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure! Do you think I'm crazy?" A nervous smile appeared on Twilight's face.
"Um, I don't think I should answer that! Anyways, do you have proof she's after you? Because this might be a whole misundersta-"
"PINKIE PIE!YOU GET THAT PARTY LOVING ASS DOWN HERE, NOW!" Twilight's eyes widened.
"There's your proof! Now excuse me, I've gotta hide!" With that, Pinkie walked over to Twilight's dresser, opened one of the drawers, and jumped in. It shocked Twilight that she could fit in there, and that she could close it from the inside, but she wasn't that shocked. After all, this was Pinkie Pie.Twilight just rolled her eyes, and took the book that was under the covers, but before she could even open it, the door burst open again, this time with an angry Applejack.
"Ga!" Twilight hid the book, once again, under the covers."What is-"
"Have you seen Pinkie Pie?!" Twilight bit her lip.
* C'mon! Think! Think! Think!* "S-she told me she was going to the..... Library!" AJ raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"The library? What in the hay does she want to do in the library?"Twilight shrugged.
"Peets me." Applejack raised an eyebrow, but excepted the excuse.
"Well, alright. I'll be on my way!" She walked tword the door, but stopped."Twilight." The alicorn looked at her,nodding."Just, promise me that you'll get enough sleep tonight?" Twilight nodded.
"You swear?"
"Yes AJ, I'll get enough sleep tonight!" She said with a smile.AJ turned, and smiled.
"Don't be dreamin about your coltfriend!" She mocked. Twilight only raised an eyebrow.
"Who?" Applejack's smile grew wider.
"Oh, that Pegasus guard in the Crystal Empire. Oh what was his name? Oh yay! Flash Sentry." A cherry blush immediately fell on the alicorn's cheek. She scowled at Applejack, who only chuckled.
"He is not, my coltfriend." Applejack's chuckles turned into laughing.
"Sure he ain't!" With that, she left the room. Twilight sighed as she heard the hoofsteps in the hallway.
"You can come out, Pinkie!" Pinkie did as told, and opened the drawer she was in. Before she came fully out, she scanned the room."She not here, don't worry. She's looking for you in the library." Pinkie nodded, and floated out, like a balloon. Twilight showed no shock in her face, as Pinkie landed on her bed.
"Thank you for that!" Twilight smiled.
"Your welcome, but you have to tell me why you were hiding."
"But-"
"No buts, Pinkie! Please."Pinkie sighed.
"Me and Rainbow Dash made a Pinkie promise, to not tell anypony about her secret."
"Which is?" Pinkie gave her a look."Pleeeeeeease?"
"No! I have Pinkie Promised not to tell anypony about it." Twilight sighed.
"Suppose your right." She yawned.
"Um, Twilight? I think it's time for all of us to have a little, break."
"What do you mean?" Twilight Asked, confused.
"Weeeeeeell, over the months, we haven't really, had a, break from work, and, for some reason,I feel like we're splitting up, more everyday.And, sometimes I feel, we aren't gonna be.... We're arent....."Pinkie's eyes filled with tears,and her hair became less puffy.
"Oh, Pinkie. Come here."Pinkie jumped on Twilight, hugging her tightly."We will always, be friends." Pinkie smiled.
"Do you Pinkie Promise?" She asked. Twilight only smiled.
"I do." Pinkie's hair puffed up once again, and a huge grin shown on her face. Pinkie then let go of Twilight and walked up to the door.
"Well, I better go, before AJ finds me! Bye, Twili!" Twilight scowled.
" Dont, ever call me that name again. Only my brother can!" Pinkie stuck out her tongue, before leaving. "Oh Pinkie Pie. You and your silly ways!" Twilight giggled, before making her way to her bed. She tucked herself into the sheets, smiling. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep.
~ Meanwhile in Canterlot....
" Another nightmare. Greeeeeeeeaaaat. Who is it this time?" Flash looked around. Nothing but pitch black."Odd.... Usually there's-" He was stopped from the sound of shuffling snow that came from behind him. He quickly turned around. Nothing.Thats when the sound came again, behind him again. He turned. Nothing."The hell?" That's when another sound came from behind him. First a mare scream, then,an echoing gun shot. He turned around again, but this time, the blackness was gone. It was replaced by white snow, every where, even under his vary hooves. His eyes widened when he saw a couple of red splattered dots in front of him. Blood spots, in the snow.His ears pricked up when he heard the shuffling of snow coming from his right.
"Mom?!" Flash's eyes darted into something moving in the snow. Something light orange. That when he reqlized, it was a pegasus colt. He had a blue main and tail. Flash then realized who the colt was. It was himself, younger. "No!" His eyes widened even more when he realized how much snow was blowing around. He looked back down at his hoofs to see not what he was expecting. The snow had risen all the way up to his shoulder.
"What the hell Is goin-" Before he had a chance to finish his sentence,a gust of the frore wind hit him on the side, making him stumble down a snowy hill. He groaned as he hit the bottom of the hill, which was surprising colder then anything else around him. *Shit, that hurt!* He groaned as he got up. What ever was under his hoofs,must have not been snow, because it was completely solid, and slippery.* Almost like...... He looked down to see what he had expected."Ice." Flash then realized something. He seemed, short. His eyes widened when he saw his reflection. He had slightly bigger eyes, his mane was more messy, and he was shorter. He was his younger self.*One of my worst nightmares, is being younger? Seriously. That can not be right. Something's up.*
Something was up. No, literally. Something was up, above his very head. He realized that the hard way. There was the sound of a click above him, which made him look up. Not a good idea. His eyes widened when he saw a gun, pointed right at his head. "Oh shi-" The gun went off, then, black. Flash gasped as he woke up. He looked around him, making sure he has still in the room he slept, Which he was. He sighed in relief. *Just a dream..... Just a dream. Bull shit! That wasn't a fucking dream! If it was, there would be rainbows and butterflies, and all that shit! This was not a dream. It was a fucking nightmare! Idiot!* He looked out of the open window, which showed that morning had arrived.The door shoot open, making Flash gasp, and fall out of bed.
"Flash! Are you okay!? What the hell happened!?Wait a minute, where the hell are you!?" A light orange hoof raised in the air.
"The hell are you doing on the floor!?" She asked, as she helped Flash up.
"Oh I don't know.... Some crazy unicorn mare, barging into my room as if shes fucking on alcohol,without even knocking on the God damn door first!" Silver nervously chuckled, walked backwards tword the door, and knocked twice."Oh it's fucking to late for that!' It was clear that Flash was very irritated.
"Geeze! Sorry! Cranky pants!" Flash rolled his eyes, and sat on the side of the bed.Silver walked up to him."What the hell happened anyway?" Flash sighed.
"Nightmare, for the umpteenth time!" Silvers mouth made an 'o' shape as she raised an eyebrow.
"Is that even a word?"
"Yes it's a fucking word!" Silver rolled her eyes, which then widened.
"Wait a minute, this has been happening for a long time!?" Flash nodded, and made a 'duh' face, while circling his hoof around the bags which hang down from his eyes. "Ooooooh!But do you know why this is happening?" Flash scowled.
"Does it look like I fucking know why!?" He yelled.
"Hey! You need to calm down! Amber is right next door to you, and I don't want her to hear anymore foal language!" Flash sighed.
"Sorry, I just, get ticked off easily in the mornings now, after those nightmares started." Silver sat down next to him on the bed.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?" Flash sighed."You can tell me, after all,what are friends for?"Flash sighed, and told her everything. Silver's eyes widened." Wait, did the ending actually happen at that time period, or-"
"No. Never." Silver put a hoof on her chin.
"That's odd. And it changes every time?" Flash nodded in agreement. "And all of them are from your past?" Flash nodded." Did you... Ever have one with.... her?"Flash's eyes widened as he looked directly at her. He slowly shaked his head no, then looked down with saddened eyes. Silver's eyes widened even more when she realized what she said." Flash... I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
"It's fine. I am expecting her though. That's gonna be the hardest one of all to pass." Silver laid a hoof on his shoulder, but said nothing. Together, the two stayed in silence, as the minutes passed, maybe even hours. It was hard to tell how long it was for them because they were both deep in thought, very, deep.
~ Meanwhile in Ponyville......
Blackness. That's all the violet alicorn saw. She scowled."Where the hell am I!?" Twilight shouted. No reply, yet again."Great.... Another nightmare." She closed her eyes, and sighed. When her eyes opened, they widened. The blackness was gone, replaced by metal walls, slowly closing in on her.* Shit! Shit! Shit! How the hell did this fucking dream know that I have claustrophobia!? Well it is my dream, so.... Oh what the hell am I thinking!?* She looked up to see if she could fly out, which wasn't an option, which made Twilight panic a little.* Wait a minute, I have a horn, and....* She looked up at her horn, which wasn't there."No!no!no!no!" She panicked. That's when she realized, the walls were about to slam on her. She closed her eyes, and got ready.
Twilight gasped as she woke up. She looked around, then sighed in relief." Just a dream...." She then looked up at the ceiling, and thought about what Pinkie said last night about a vacation. "Oh... Why not?" She got up from bed, and walked over to the door.Before she could open it, the door opened itself, or so it seemed, almost smacking Twilight in the muzzle, if she hadn't backed away. Pinkie stood in the hall, smiling.
"Brunch is ready!" Twilight raised an eyebrow.
"Brunch? How long have I been asleep?"
"Oh, I don't know.Probably enough to get ready for our little trip!" Twilight's eyes widened.
"Trip!? What do you mean by, trip !?" Pinkie smiled.
"What I mean is, me,you,Rainbow Dash,Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Spike are going on a trip to, first Canterlot, then, to see your brother, and sister in law!" Twilight stood there ,motionless."And maybe even your friend, Flash!" Twilight groaned, then fainted. "Um... Twilight? Twilight, you, okay? Huh. Must have not gotten enough sleep. Oh well! When she wakes up, we'll be getting ready for the trip!"
Eight years..... Eight fucking years since I've seen her alive. She's dead........ And I'm never gonna see her again. Celestia, Damnit!All because of my fucking action she's fucking dead! Flash angrily thought to himself.He was alone again in the guest room, since Silver had gone downstairs to make breakfast. He lied down on the bed, scowling, and trying not to scream in anger, but at the same time, he wanted the tears to fall from his eyes, but he held the feelings in. He held it all in. The anger, the sadness, everything, as long as he could, at least until Silver Pearl announced that breakfast was ready.
"Why can't I just fucking die already?! Why do I have to live in this, cruel world?" He groaned, and put a hoof on his face. There was then a knock at his door."Yes, Silver?"
"It's......not Silver. It's me........ Amber." His eyes widened."C-Can I come in?" Flash got up, and quickly opened the door for her. She had saddened eyes as she looked up at Flash.
"Ya... You can... Come in." Amber entered the room, and sat on the bed,while Flash closed the door, and sat next to her."So.... Why did you want to come in? Not to be, rude or anything." She only sighed.
"I... Couldn't really, sleep last night." Flash raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean.. Is, I couldn't sleep last night. I probably stayed up the whole night."
"Why?" Amber sighed, and looked away. "Hey. You Oka-" Flash stopped himself, after thinking about last night.
"No, I'm not okay." Flash looked at her with conserned eyes.
"Then.... What wrong, if you don't.... Mind me asking." He rubbed his neck and looked away.Amber put a hoof on her cheek.
"It's..... About last night." Flash looked at her, wide eyed."I was acting like I was bipolar." Flash snorted, trying to not laugh at what she said,which made Amber roll her eyes." Im being serious. In conclusion, I'm sorry for all the things I said, especially the way I ended it. It wasn't right for me to curse, or say hurtful things to you. I was just, ticked off." Flash Put a wing around her.
"What you said, last night, you..... were right. I should have sent you a letter, or something. I wasn't thinking, for two damn years."He looked away from her."I'm sorry."Amber put wrapped her hoofs around his arm, since he was so much bigger then her.
"Don't be. It's not your fault. I shouldn't have yelled at you, or curse, or anything else I did. I should have been grateful that you were back. I'm such an idiot."
"No your not." Flash put his head on top of hers. "You are the smartest filly I know, so don't lie. "
"Flash, I'm basically the only filly you know!" Flash chuckled.
"Fine. Your the smartest, mare I know." Amber's eyes widened at the word, mare. A big smile appeared on her face.
"You got that right, five year old." Flash looked at her with an annoyed glance, then smiled.
"If I'm five, your one hundred years older then me." Amber scowled, and pushed him to the side."Not. Cool." Flash pushed her back with his elbow. The two pushed each other, trying to push the other off,, until finally, Flash fell off the bed."Hey! You cheated!" Amber just stuck her tongue out at him.
"What's wrong, are you being a sore loser?" She asked, in a baby voice, which made Flash scowl.
"Brat!" He yelled as he hit her with a pillow.
"Hey!" She threw the pillow back at him. That's when the pillow war broke out.
Meanwhile in Ponyville
"Um... Pinkie? Are you sure she didn't just faint?" The yellow pegasi asked. It had been ten minutes since Twilight had fainted,
"Weeeeeell, I'm not really sure, Flutters. She just fell unconscious after I told her about her friend that works for the royal guards in The Crystal Empire." Rarity raised an eyebrow.
"Wouldn that be her brother, Deary?" She asked, while pulling out some makeup from her violet bag with her magic. Pinkie shook her head.
"I was talking about Flash Sentry." Everyponies eyes widened.
"Well no wonder why she fainted! We all know she has a big crush on him, or the human him, but still! And the fact that we're going to the Crystal Empire, most likely means that we are going to bump into him." Rarity implied. Rainbow Dash, who sat next to Applejack in Twilight's room, giggled.
"Don't you mean, Twilight bumping into him, and the rest of us just standing there and giggling like idiots?" She chuckled, soon everypony else did the same, soon followed by both her and Applejack slapping each other's hooves,which made Twilight groan.
"Thats not the reason why I fainted." She got up on all fours, and looked at her friends, who only gave her a smile.
"Suuuuuuuuure." Applejack chuckled. "Then, why did you faint?" Twilight sighed.
"I fainted because Pinkie told me that we were going to two places, and I haven't seen my brother or sister, for a long time, or, have I been in the portal, and seen, the other you's, or Sunset,or........Flash." She sighed, tears filling her eyes as the memories flashed back to her.
"Oh, you poor thing!" Fluttershy walked up to her, and hugged her, soon followed by everypony else.
"Twilight,we know..... You haven't been in that portal, but.....you have us! The, pony version of us." Applejack softly told Twilight, who sighed.The six friends seperated.
"I guess your right....." Twilight's eyes widened. "Oh Celestia! I need to start packing I-"
"We already did that for you." Rainbow boredly replied, which made Applejack roll her eyes.
"In translation, me, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie packed, while mrs. Wannabe wonderbolt was sitting on her pegasi ass, reading a daring do book, as usual." Twilight couldn't help but chuckle.
"Hey! It's not my fault! There good books, very good books." Rainbow patted her latest daring do book.Twilight nodded. She couldn't lie about the Daring Do books being very eye catching. "Wait a minute...... What time is it?"
"About time to be heading of to the train!" Applejack replied, as she gave Twilight her bag. Everypony, and dragon, walked out of the room, except for Twilight, who quickly looked under the covers for her book, but it was gone. Somepony had taken it from her.
"The hell-"
"I already put the book in the bag for Ya, Twi." Twilight spun her head around to see Rainbow, in the middle of the doorway, smiling. Twilight trotted up to her friend, and gave her a hug.
"Thank you." Rainbow hugged back, smiling. Twilight then let go of her friend, eyes widened."Wait a minute.... Did you read any of it? Did you tell anypony else about it?! Did you-"
" No , no, and don't worry. Besides, I only read Daring Do books." Twilight smiled at her words, which Rainbow soon gave back.
" Well, we better go,before the others get suspicious!" With that, the two walked out the door, and out of the castle, to there first stop in vacation, Canterlot.
"What took you two so long?" Rarity asked both Rainbow Dash and Twilight as soon as they arrived at the train station, where the rest of their friends were waiting. Applejack only chuckled.
"I'm tellin' Ya Rars,their having to much fun in that bedroom of Twilight's!" Rainbow scowled.
"THATS NOT WE WERE DOING!!!" She shouted, making Applejack chuckle.
"Calm your feathers, Rainbow! I was just kiddin with Ya!" Rainbow rolled her eyes, and looked at Twilight, who was rubbing the back of her head with her hoof, blushing in embarrassment. "Seriously though, what took you two so long?"Rainbow was about to say something, when Twilight blurted in.
"I was trying to find something, so Rainbow Dash offered to help me find it!"Rainbow smiled, as she nudged her wing onto Twilight's shoulder.
"Ya, this egg head over here is kinda blind, so of course, I had to help her." Rarity rolled her eyes, followed by AJ. That's when the train finally arrived.
"All aboard!" The conductor shouted. Everypony walked into the train, and sat in their seat that they chose. Twilight sat in a seat nearest to the window, soon followed by Rainbow Dash, which made Applejack chuckle.Rainbow made a low groan, while Twilight just rolled her eyes and looked out the window,as the train rode to its next stop:Canterlot.
Canterlot
Feathers. Everywhere. That's the only thing Flash could see besides the purple ceiling, since he was lying flat on the ground, next to Amber,both huffing and puffing after the one hour pillow fight they had,still waiting for breakfast.Flash then turned his head twords Amber.She looked as if she was ready to fall asleep.Her eyes were half open,threatening to fall shut, but she kept opening at full length,attempting to remain awake, but eventually, failed, as she fell into sleep.Flash only smiled.

Flash's breathing slowly returned to its regular pace, as he started to stand up.He picked Amber up, and placed her on his left shoulder,one hoof over her back to make sure she didn't fall. He then, slowly, made his way to her dark purple bed, and placed her down on the Black and magenta striped sheets, and tucked her in to her warm purple blanket. Sweet dreams, kiddo.With that, he walked off twords the door.
"Where....are you going?" Flash stopped, and turned his head around to see Amber's head up, eyes opened half way, looking at him with a confused look. Flash turned his whole body around, and smiled.
"Back to my room, why?" Amber pouted.
"Could you stay.... Until, I'm fully asleep?" She asked, yawning. Flash's mouth opened, as if he was going to object, but his mind prevented him from doing so.
YOU IDIOT!Dont you dare object to that sweet little fillie! I swear to hell I will make you kill yourself! Besides, don't you remember what happened to Ripple?!?! His eyes widened when he heard his name, and put his head down.Ripple.....How could I forget the colt who had big dreams, who turned into a stallion who turned cold on everyone? He sighed as he looked back up at Amber. A smile grew over his face as he walked over to her, and lied down next to the sleepy fillie.
"Thank you...." She smiled, making Flash chuckle.
"Anything for my little filly." He whispered back, as he closed his eyes, and put his head over her shoulder

Like Sunset Shimmer said in her last note to me, their all fine, though that was two years ago.... Maybe I should just, go back to Ponyville, a-and activate the portal and- No! Your pony friends need you right now!Your being so selfish! Remember what your friends taught you! My mirror friends will be fine, they don't need me anymore, after all,they have the mirror me now..... They wouldn't care the slightest bit about me, but I'm going to miss them....especially...Flash.
Her teeth clenched, as she tried as hard as she could, to not let the tears in her eyes to fall. She didn't want to tell her friends that she missed their mirrors selves, and Sunset Shimmer. She didn't want them to feel betrayed, and think that she was being selfish for not thinking about her pony friends.Thats when she finally realized, something wet was slowly sliding down both of her cheeks.Her eyes widened when she realized what it was.
H-have I been, Crying? She gently pressed her hoof onto her cheek, and felt the hot tears that had rolled down her cheeks,to her neck,and dropped onto the seat she sat on. That's when she couldn't take it anymore, and let the tears fall, not letting a sob out of her mouth to alert anyone on the train.She then felt a wing gently, cover her back.Her mouth gaped open, as she turned her head around to see Rainbow Dash, looking at her with concerned eyes.Twilight's mouth shut, as she smiled to reasure her friend, who soon smiled back.

Back In Canterlot
Finally......done! After two in a half hours, the pancakes are ready. Silver hummed to herself, as she placed the pancakes down on the table. That's when she realized, something was off. Earlier, she heard giggling, and laughing, but now.... It was completely quiet. Somethings.......not right.Maybe they both, slept in? That's when her eyes widened, as she looked up at the stairs.Thats when the memories of the fire came into her head, the screams Amber had made, and all the blood that was shed. He did all that. Before he got arrested, his finally words, came back into her head.
'You may have survived..... But as soon as I get out of jail, I'll make your life turn into living hell!'
oh no...... She ran up the stairs as fast as she could, and checked in the guest room, where Flash was sleeping in, earlier. Nothing. More fear ran down her spine. It was as if she could feel his cold breath down her neck. She ran of that room, and ran into Amber's. Her eyes softened when she saw both Amber and Flash, sleeping together."Thank goodness...." She slowly walked over to them, and smiled. They look so cute together! She managed to hold back a squeal from the cuteness she saw. She kissed Amber's forehead, then looked at Flash. She lifted up her hoof, and slowly, inch it closer to his nose.
"Silver," Flash groaned as he opened both eyes, and scowled at her,"I swear to god, If you boop my nose,I will fucking go,World War Z on that ass of yours!" Silver only rolled her eyes.
"Go ahead, get yourself killed!" She chuckled. "You two are sooooo-"
"Stfu, leave me alone, leave this room, before I go World Wa-"
"Okay! Okay! I get it! I'm leaving! God, your so grumpy when your tired."
"Probably because, I'm trying to get some sleep over here, and somepony, is trying to freakin, boop my nose!" Silver chuckled, as she left the room.
'Sweet dreams, Amber.' Flash opened both his eyes, and kissed Amber's forehead, making her smile even though she was still asleep. He lifted his head up, and looked up at the ceiling to see a clock, revealing that it had just turned two, making him smirk.I still got time.
He placed his head back onto Amber's shoulders, smiling. 'I've got all the time in the world to spend with Amber. ' Flash closed his eyes,still smiling, as he fell asleep.
} On The Train { Twilight bit her lip, as she stared at her pegasus friend."Rainbow I-"Rainbow Dash only lifted up her hoof, making Twilight go silent.
"Don't tell me anything till your fully sure you want to say." Twilight smiled, and placed her head onto Rainbow's neck.
"I'm glad I have you as a friend." She whispered, making Rainbow's smile widen even more.
" Same, but your still an egg head!" Twilight groaned, but before she could say anything in response, Rainbow placed her head on top of hers."Your still, my, egghead." Twilight smiled once again, joy sprouting inside her.
"And you'll always be my most loyal friend, even though your a slow poke!"Rainbow scowled.
" Is that a challenge?" She chuckled.
"Maybe....Maybe not."Twilight gave her a challenging look.
" I bet when we get back to Ponyville,Im gonna clear the sky, im ten seconds, flat !"She smirked.
"Prove it!"As soon as the last worda left the alicorn's mouth,they both were laughing their heads off, as the memories came back to them.
" Those were the good old days." Rainbow sighed, as she wiped off a tear from one of her eyes. Twilight nodded.
"Ya..." She sighed. That's when the train stopped. Everypony got up from their seat, and made their way off the train, and into the Canterlot train station.
"Yipee!" Pinkie cheered, as she jumped up and down, excitedly. Applejack simply rolled her eyes, as a grin grew across her face.
"Same old Pinkie Pie!" The Six Mare's chuckled, while Spike groaned.
"Could we please, pl~ease, hurry to Lemon Heart's house, so I can nap! My body can't take not napping for more than three hours!" Twilight laughed at Spike's whinning, making him groan once again.
" Alright! Alright! Me and the girls will drop you off at Lemon's house so you could take a nap, then, we'll go around Canterlot, and walk around for a bit. Sound good, Spike?" That's when she saw him, laying down on the floor, snoring. She chuckled."Same old Spike since sixteen years."
}Silver's house{
'Wow.... 'Flash's eyes widened as he looked around the area. There were trees, everywhere. The sky was pitch black, only a few stars shone in the night sky, some covered by the clouds. 'What is this place? He turned around to see a clear spot, without any trees at all. Without questioning, he started to walk tword the empty patch of the forest.
'Why...does this place, feel so familiar? H-have I been here before?' He kept walking, as though he had been in the dream forest a million times. His eyes moved everywhere,looking for any signs for anything out of the ordinary.
That's when something light fell on top of his head. "What the..." He started shaking his head, trying to get the object off. When it did fall, Flash's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. A feather, a crow feather. "How the hell...? "
The black feather slowly fell down to the floor, and while it did, Flash watched, as though it was his first time seeing a feather fall. "J-just....whatever. It's not important to me right now." With that, he kept walking, but he didn't go to far.
A gorge had stopped him from his 'adventure'. Below, was a rushing river.. He stopped just in time before anythingseriously bad could happen. "Holy, shit!" He backed up,breathing heavily.
He turned around, to see the crow feather, sitting on the ground. He chuckled, slightly. "Guess that feather was important, after all, but...where did it come from?" He looked up at the sky, to see the full moon, beaming down on him, but it was slowly covered by the frost colored clouds.
His ears twitched at the sound of rustling leaves. He looked behind him to see nothing."Who's there?" No reply. "Show yourself!" Nothing. Flash snorted."Coward." He mumbled, as he looked away. That's when the rustling began again.His eyes widened, as he looked up before him.
A dark shadowy figure shown, with two ice blue luminous eyes."W-w-who are you!?" The figure only chuckled.
"Don't remember me? I'm not surprised. You barely paid any attention to me." His voice was demonic, which made chills go up Flash's spine. "Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if you didn't even remember my name, but surprisingly, I know yours...Flash"Flash's eyes widened.
"H-how'd do you know my name?" Anger pricked up inside him, as he scowled."Who the hell are you!? Why are you here!?" He yelled. The figure smiled, revealing his sharp white teeth.
"Do you remember..... this!?" He quickly leaped at Flash, and tackled him on the ground, both his hoofs on the pegasi ' throat, making it hard for him to breathe."I should have done this sooner!" Flash's eyes widened when he realized once again, this was a dream.
"T-this isn't real. Y-your not real! Nothing here is real!I don't believe this!" His opponent only chuckled.
"Believe it, Sentry! Everything here is' real! This forest is real! I am real! And best of all, all I'm going to hear, is you being tortured to death!"
"You sick bastard! Your lying! Nothing here is real! This is all fake!" Flash shouted, even though he felt pain at his throat.The shadowy figure laughed.
"Maybe I should show you, how real all this is." Before Flash could even open his mouth to object, the figure quickly bit down into his neck,hard.Flash yelled in pain, as his own blood trickled down his throat,and onto the ground he laid on.He kicked at the demon's stomach,trying to get him off, but it was no use. His screams became faint, as his eyes slowly leaked out tears.That's when the feeling of being bit faded away.
" I've had enough with this,torture porn.' But don't think this is the end of this. The next time you sleep, I'll be waiting...always." Flash's eyes slowly closed, as more tears ran down one of his cheeks. The last thing he saw was the luminous eyes the demon possessed.

"FLASH, WAKE UP!" Flash's eyes immediately sprung open, to see Amber, tears filling her eyes.
"Amber?" He manged to say."W-whats wrong? D-did I wake you up!?" He sprung up, and looked at Amber, wide eyed.
"Y-y-you were screaming in your sleep. I tried waking you up, b-but it didn't work, and you kept on screaming,as if-"
" I was in...pain?" She nodded. Flash placed his hoof around her back, and smiled."It was just a nightmare I had. "
"Y-your sure?" She asked.
"Amber, I'm fine. It was just a nightmare!" He chuckled, as he got off the bed, and walked tword the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Ive... gotta go to the bathroom." Amber smirked.
"I have a bathroom in here, pea brain!" Flash chuckled."It's over there!" She pointed at a white door, smirking.
" Thank you." Flash walked into the bathroom, looked the door, then looked in the mirror. His eyes widened in horror at what he saw. Two bite marks laid on his neck, with faded blood lines running down his throat.
Flash's eyes widened as he looked at the bite marks on his neck."No, this can be real. This....T-this, can't be real..."He cautiously lifted up his hoof, making it hover over his shoulder."Only one way to find out..." He placed his hoof gently on the wound, which he regretted great fully. His whole body stung with pain. With a gasp, he quickly took his hoof off of the marks, and groaned. No... This isn't real. I REFUESE TO BELIEVE THIS!.
*Believe it!* Flash's eyes widened at the sound of the voice in his head. The same voice, the shadowy figure in his dream spoke with.
W-Why are you in my head?! Better yet...What do you want? Flash scowled.
*What do I want?* The demon only chuckled.O~h Flashie boy! I thought you knew me better than that! Of course...you never knew me that well...but still! I thought you had a brain, well, at least some 'part' of it. Flash rolled his eyes.

*Dont call you,what?* Flash gritted his teeth angrily, and groaned.
Flashie boy.
"Flash?" Amber's voice came from behind the shut door."Are you okay? Y-you've been in there, for a while! " Flash smiled.
" Y-ya...I'm just... Checking something!" He chuckled.
"Alright. J-just making sure!" Amber shouted before leaving. Flash sighed, and looked back in the mirror, only to become terrified, by what he saw. Floating next to him, was the shadowy figure, with the same devilish smile it had.

You can only see 'me' either in the mirror, or in your dreams, or, anything else that you can see yourself in, though I don't know why you would want to see yourself. SHUT THE HELL UP! IM NOT GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO KILL ME! YOUR THE ONE THAT BASICALLY KILLED ME IN MY DREAM, LIKE WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELL!? AND I AM NOT GOING TO JOIN MY FAMILY! Flash scowled, before walking out of the bathroom, and slamming the door shut. He then looked up at the clock that sat on the wall.

His eyes widened at the sight of the time the clock told. Time passed faster than i thought!
He then turned his head towards Amber's bed, to see the unicorn filly, lying on her bed, eyes closed. She was asleep. Flash simply smiled, before trotting up to her, and kissing her forehead. "See you later, buttercup," He whispered, before trotting out of the room, and downstairs into the living room, to see Silver herself,sitting on a light green couch, alone eating pancakes on a glass plate, while holding a newspaper in her hoof."Silver!" The unicorn looked up, and raised an eyebrow at him, and swallowing her breakfast.
" What?" She asked,only receiving a smile from the pegasus.
" You made pancakes, AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME!?" Silver smirked, before lifting her fork with her purple aurora, and taking another piece of her pancake.
" Well, you should've listen to me, Instead of shouting,'You better leave this room, before I go all world war on your butt!"
"That's not what I said. I said-"
" Whatever!"Silver interrupted, before flipping the page of the newspaper. "Besides, there is plenty of more pancakes in the kitchen!" She mumbled, as she pointed toward a door, which Flash assumed was the kitchen.He then trotted up to the door, and opened it, revealing a light gray room, with designs which were colored with gold. The pegasus smiled, before looking around, until he saw a foam plate, with a dozen pancakes on top of it.
Bingo. Before he could do anything, the sound of shattering glass rang in his ears, making his eyes widen, and his entire body froze. He had heard that sound before, plenty of times in his hidden scars. All the dark memories flashed back into his vivid blue eyes ; The blood peircing screams, The shocking betrayals, the nightmares, the bodies, but worst of all, the spewing of blood everywhere.
His breathing started to get heavy, as his eyes widened. Everything was flashing back, in seconds, maybe even less! Mixed voices started ringing in his ears, voices he hadn't heard for years. He barely could tell the difference between the images of his dark memories, from the reality he was living in now.
'WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?' He couldn't move, couldn't cry out for help, and he could barely breathe at all. He was living in hell, all over again, and there was nothing he could do, except suffer in this hell.
Everything felt like hell again. The way he couldn’t move again as he was being tortured by something Unknown, and the way he could barely breathe even though he tried swelling up all the air he could, but the worst part of it all, was that his mind kept flashing images to him, images that he had tried to keep secret – images he wanted to get rid of, and forget forever, but deep inside, Flash knew he couldn’t forget them, no matter what he did. ‘WHY THE HELL IS THIS HAPLENING!?’ He tried to yelp out for help, but the only thing that came out was a simple wheeze. His body started to shake, rapidly, as the images turned more horrifying, and there was nothing he could do, to stop it.
‘*Oh, would you look at that! Flashie boy is in a little bit of trouble, now isn’t he?* At the sound of that voice, Flash felt anger prick inside him.
‘YOU!! YOU DID THIS, DIDN’T YOU!? YOU SON OF A BI-‘
*’Wow! Don’t get your tail in a twist! I would never do this – maybe I would if I wanted you to die - Besides, it’s a type of, ‘sickness’ you have.*’ The demon’s voice started to turn serious now, making Flash confused, but that didn’t stop him from lashing out at it.
‘Sickness? What kind of, ‘sickness,’ makes me have nightmares at night? What kind of sickness, makes me imagine things, huh!?’ Before the demon could reply, the faint sound of a door slamming made Flash come back to reality. The flashing images stopped, the pain he felt was gone, and he could finally move from his frozen state. “What the hell?” Flash muttered, before looking around him.
Everything was back to normal, for him at least. That’s when he felt something strange come out from his gut.’ Wait a minute...Something, isn’t right… He put one of his hoofs on his chin, as he thought out what had just happened. Glass shattering, Slamming doors... And that happened, right after Silver went back to eating her pancakes, which was in the living room… away from where I was…’ That’s when his eyes widened in realization, as everything summed up. Somepony else was in the house, just as he put his guard down.
Without wasting another second, he quickly ran out of the kitchen, and into the living room. His eyes immediately looked at the couches, to see that no pony sat there, anymore. On the floor in front of the place Silver sat, was the glass plate she had used to eat her pancakes, shattered into smaller pieces. “Shit!” He cursed threw gritted teeth. He then ran up the stairs, and checked every room, including Amber’s. The unicorn filly was still on her bed, napping, making Flash slightly relieved, but not fully. The fact that Silver wasn’t in any of the rooms he had searched, made his fear rise. ‘Where else could she be!?I’ve checked everything inside this house!’ That’s when a thought sparked in his mind. ‘Inside…I’VE ONLY CHECKED INSIDE THE HOUSE! There is still a chance she could be outside…there has to be!’
He ran downstairs as fast as he could, and out the front door, revealing the streets of Canterlot, where ponies walked down the sidewalk, with friends by their sides, talking. Flash looked all around the streets, looking for one particular mare, but she was no where in sight. ‘No…No, no, no, no, NO!’ His ears pricked down in fear, as he looked for Silver once again, checking to see if he had over seen her, but he still couldn’t find her.
Tears started to fill his eyes, as his head drooped down.’ DAMNIT! DAMNIT ALL! He wanted to screech, but he held his tongue. I did it again…I let my guard down, just like with…’her’. Now, she’s gone, JUST LIKE, EVERYPONY ELSE I CARED ABOUT! FUCK ME! ‘ He was about to go inside, when he felt the need to look to his right. Without even thinking, he did what his gut was telling him to do. His eyes widened, as he saw a silver colored mare, sitting on the sidewalk, with her curly mane covering her face. “Silver!” Flash squealed, before trotting over to the mare. “My god! I was worried sick about you! Don’t ‘ever’ do that to me again!” The pegasus chuckled, but there was no respond from the unicorn mare, making Flash’s eyebrow raise. “Silver…?” The only reply that came out of her was not a word, but a sound, a sound Flash knew well. A sob.
“ He’s back…” She managed to say, as another sob was heard. “ W-What? W-Who is back?” Without responding this time, the mare revealed a newspaper with her magic, making the pegasus confused.
“ Ash….Jailbreak…Revenge.” After that, it didn’t take long for Flash to realize what had happened. “He’s out for revenge! H-he’s going to find Amber, and-“ before she could finish, Flash quickly rapped the unicorn in a tight hug, and placed his head on top of her shoulder. Silver couldn’t help but let out sobs as she began to hug the stallion back.
“Silver …I’m here…I won’t let ‘anypony’ hurt you or Amber, again,” Flash whispered, as he was on the verge of tears.
“Flash… Thank you…” Silver whispered, after all the tears were gone. They then slowly pulled away from each other. ” I…I guess I owe you one,” The mare chuckled.
“Silver,” Flash smiled. “You don’t owe me, ‘Anything’ at all.” He chuckled, making the mare smile.
“ Alright, enough with the cheesy sadness scene here! “ She laughed, before taking a few steps back to the front door of her home, followed by the pegasus stallion.” Let’s go inside and eat some more breakfast, before you starve to death!” She chuckled, walking into the entrance of her home.
” I think I already have already,” Flash replied, a smirk on his face, before following Silver into the house, and closing the door behind him.
