I was writing a chapter for Fimfic Authors Are In Your Bed and I decided to write my own story from it. The chapter from the story will be the first chapter, then other chapters will stack on top. Also, I now made this a crossover in a crossover from A Little Loopy by warewolves.Finally, this story will frequently break the fourth wall and the ceiling (5th wall), whatever breaking the ceiling means.
Please point out any mistakes and give comment to my story, just 'cause nobody is perfect! (I'm using nobody because in this story, as the tag suggests, there will be a human. "Nopony" dosn't suffice anymore. Sorry!)
You sigh as you walk home through the crowd. Mondays are like the evil part of life, with endless work you just don't want to do, but if you don't, you'll go to bed hungry. Along with the fact that the other people out there are in pretty much the same mood, You usually don't get a very nice day.
And now there's one more thing to pile on top of that mountain: ponies. About a few months ago, ponies, other pony-like creatures and a human with a crazy hair color has been visiting you, usually on Mondays. Some visits are nice, some are downright insane, but they all have one thing in common: they all seem to appear on your bed. You don't exactly know why, but you do know there's something about that bed you don't know...
The moment you see your house you groan. You had thought maybe that this week the ponies decided to not come, but your hopes are thrown against a wall and crushed to nothingness as you stare at the smoke emitting from the big hole on your house. You then proceed to run as fast as your darned suit and heavy briefcase can allow you towards your house. As you run, you subconscious mind immediately thinks : Well, this is going to cost a lot.
When you reach your house, the smell of the smoke is even stronger, and reluctantly hold your nose and step inside. (Your subconscious mind says: are you crazy? You'll die!) Fortunately, the smoke is just emitting from one room, and it is actually very light, which is possibly why the alarms didn't go blaring and the firemen aren't surrounding your house with giant 40 pound hoses filled with water. As you approach your bedroom, the sudden nervousness hits your gut like a truck. What in the world happened? Is something on fire? You shudder as your remember the "fire" incident.
By the time you actually gain the courage to open the door, most of the smoke has cleared. You take a step in, automatically looking at your bed... and what was on top of it.
The blue box somehow didn't do anything to the bed. That meant that the bed was special (hooray, you have a special bed!) or that the blue box somehow managed to fell a roof but do no harm to the bed. Either choice was equally confusing.
But, as you just stare at the blue box, a door opens and out steps... a pony. It looked liked that this Monday was no different.
The pony was brown, and had spiky dark hair. He had a hourglass on his flank, and had blue eyes. As he stepped from the box, he immediately looked confused.
"Uh, where am I?" He spoke in a very distinct British accent, which surprised you because ponies didn't speak in British accents since Britain was on Earth, and ponies came from... Equestria? Wherever they came from. But then again, this is a pony that came out of a BLUE BOX (now that you look closely, it looks like a police call box) that crashed through YOUR ROOF and SOMEHOW, the bed managed to survive!
"Hello?" The pony snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Yeah?"
"Uh, might I ask, which galaxy, planet, and star are we located in?" The question was so unexpected that you just stood there for a couple seconds before coming to your wits and responding with: "We're in the Milky Way, orbiting the sun, and we live on Earth." You start thinking that maybe, just maybe that this pony isn't actually from Equestria. So you says something that can possibly confirm your suspicions: "Where did you come from?"
"Well, I now live in Equestria, but I came from Gallifrey."
Huh. This was interesting.
"So, if you're from Gallifrey, then what are you and what is your name?"
"Well, I'm a time lord, and that blue box over there is the TARDIS: Time And Relative Dimension In Space. And finally, my name is the Doctor." This confused you, because you're not sure if your ears and that accent deceived you, or his name was actually the Doctor. You decide to just call him Doctor Hooves, because somehow, he reminds you of a show you watched when you were a kid, that you can't quite remember...
"Ahhhh, so you must be a human, what's your name? Oh wait, a second... let's see there, ah! There it is!" You watch as Dr. Hooves rummages through his... TARDIS and pulls out a... whatever it is. It looks like a children's toy. Anyway, he points it at you, and strangely enough, a green light and a weird sound comes from the... pointer-stick-thingy. After a few awkward moments, Dr. Hooves stores the stick away, and nods in understanding. While all of this was happening, a question has been nagging you.
"So, if you're a time lord, then how come you look like a pony?"
"Ah, well, I was regenerating, and then suddenly I'm a pony! You know time can be like that, wibbly wobbly timey... wimey... Anyway, when i landed my TARDIS, it travels through space and time, mind you, I was in a land called Equestria." You blink. This has got to be a weirder Monday than usual, not only is he a pony, but he also is a... time pony... Meanwhile, Dr. Hooves was examining the room and checking the TARDIS.
"Hmm, wooden desk, soft chair, my, a wonderful bed! Very smooth! Oh wait, I'm getting off track here!" He ran into the TARDIS . "Everything is fine and running... except one thing.... Oh, why can't you run? Don't talk to me like that! Oh, alright, alright." He then stepped outside to face me. "Uh, do you mind if I stay for one night?"
I just nod, since having ponies sleep over on Mondays have become a regular thing now.
Later that night, you are awoken by a snore. You turn to see Dr. Hooves snoring as loudly as the thunder itself. Kind of reminds you of yourself while sleeping. You smile, and just before you close your eyes again, you finally remember what show it was. But that thought didn't last, as you were already into slumber again.
You wake up, with your mind fuzzy. You can't quite remember what exactly happened, but with time, it starts becoming clearer to you, you think that in the afternoon, you saw a blue box...? It would explain the crash (even though it doesn't explain the bed... that bed! I will solve that mystery! Someday...) and that the pony... time pony was kind of strange and... wait... didn't you let him sleep in you bed? And that means--
"HELLO THERE! I hope you had a good night's sleep because there are adventures to be on, and my companion is waiting, and... you really need to work on your inner alarm clock, don't you?" You were suddenly pulled awake by loud noises and a brown hoof pulling you up from your bed.
"GAH! What was that for? I don't need an *yawn* inner alarm clock, why would I need that?" You suddenly wish that you hadn't let him sleep, but that would be inhumane. You groan, trying to clear whatever was in your eyes.
" Oh, why don't you want to go on adventures? Come on, up, up! Oh dear, I must see how my fellow assistant is doing! I can't believe I actually forgot her! Come on, we have to go!" You are still yanked towards the... Public... Police... Call box? Huh. I wonder how he's supposed to live in there. The hoof continues to drag (how does THAT work? I mean, IT'S A FLAT HOOF! The world has more mysteries than even Michael Bay can imagine.)
"Alright, let me welcome you to my TARDIS, 404 NOT FOUND, how do you like it?"
Wait... hold on, where's the name for this guy? As I remember, I put his name as 404 NOT FOUND.... wait, WHAT? ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT AFTER ALL MY HARD WORK, THAT IT WAS FAILED BECAUSE MY CHARACTER'S NAME WAS NOT AVAILABLE? THAT 404 NOT FOUND WAS A WASTE OF TIME? WELL, YOU, COMPUTER, HAVE FAILED ME AND-- hold on, what? You say that I can put another name? Why? Ohhhh, I see. Okay then. Just gimme a sec, I gotta talk to my readers.
Sorry, we're having technical difficulties with the name of our character, so we hope you can just patiently wait until affairs are fixed.
"Huff... I can't believe that I actually slept through the night when the Doctor said to wait! I wonder where he is. Is he okay? I need to check! What if something bad happened to him? What if he... disappeared? Alright Derpy, calm down. You know that the Doctor isn't going to run of without you, especially without his TARDIS. Hold on, I need a... MUFFIN!" I rummaged through the heap of miscellaneous things and with some effort, actually pulled a blueberry muffin out of some dirty clothes and a... whatever that was... I didn't want to know.
Savoring the taste of the muffin, I decided to peek out the TARDIS, just to see if things were alright. Swallowing the rest of the muffin, I headed towards the door. She was about to open the door when it opened itself, and in came... the Doctor! And some other weirdo monkey looking thing...
"Oh, Doctor, you're back! I've been worrying about you, and what's that... thingy?"
"Oh, that? That is a human. Remember, I told you a little about them?" He brought the... human... in, and it stared at me strangely. I was getting uncomfortable.
"Uhh... why are you staring at me like that?" The human thing suddenly focused his attention onto you, like he was more focused on... ooohhhh... I know what he's staring at.
"Sorry, if I'm being too rude, but what--"
"It was a birth problem, okay? I'm really, really, REALLY sensitive about that topic."
He... I think it's a he... held his hands up. "Okay, okay, just curious. Anyway, if you live in the TARDIS, how do you even get things to eat and drink? And why does the Doctor's speech sound so... colorful?"
"Well, it's probably because he has A LOT of energy and it is radiating... and that's why... ah, forget it, I have as much of an idea as you do." I noticed the Doctor's speech before, and if it was energetic enough, I could actually see the speech bubble in midair. But it's best not to ponder. Some questions should go unanswered.
"Well, we get the food from the TARDIS. It just... appears."
"And you never once wondered where it came from?"
"Well, you should never look a gift horse in the...*snort* in the... *snort* BWAHAHAHAHAHA! GIFT HORSE AHAHAHAHA! AH, HILARIOUS!"
The human looked at me. "Does he do that all the time?"
"Oh yeah, he's a sucker for horse puns. Every. Single. Time." It was true. Any mention of a word sounding like it had something to do with horses, and the Doctor is in hysterics. I have to be careful of what I say. "Oh, by the way, what's you're name?"
"Oh, my name is ȩ͟͜h̛̀͟ ̕͘͘͞s̶̢̛͘͢i̷̵̢̢ ̵̨͢e҉͠҉̛t͝͠h̴͘ y̴ş̶̷͢t̶̢̧̨͝m̢͟e҉͝r̀y̢͢͝ Crow. And yours?"
"Mine is Ditzy Doo, but the Doctor calls me Derpy Hooves, and it kinda stuck on."
"Hehehe... alright now, no time to waste, we need to go on an official adventure. You're on my team now. We'll go anywhere and everywhere!"
"Umm, why did you choose me? Why not anyone else?" Once I heard the question, I actually wondered. I mean, there was anypony, no, any creature that would be better than him, even if I was being a little rude.
"Come on now! Too much chitchat! We'll get nowhere!" And with that, he dragged us to the main room. In there, he flipped a bunch of random switches, and then the sound I was really accustomed to. VEEEEEERRRROOOOOEEEEEEEEOOOOOOPPPPPPPP!!!!!!
And then, silence. The Crow looked unsure as we walked towards the doors, but I'm sure he'll get used to it. Given, we didn't really have much time to explain because of the Doctor, but I'm sure he'll figure it out. It happens eventually.
I never asked for this, right from the beginning. Honestly, I could do with a cup of coffee.*sigh* And-- Hey! Why are you interrupting my narrating? *Well, to point out something that would be better if added.* Well, but won't readers be confused when they see a random author's note? *Hey, what about when you got into an argument with your computer about naming Crow? When they saw that chapter and the 404 NOT FOUND stuff, they just shrugged it off.* T-That was a copyright issue! It was expected! *Oh yeah?* ... Meanie Bajookie. *Wow, thanks for the "Bajookie" part. Anyway, shoudn't you be writing?* HEY! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO D--
"SHUT UP! JUST GET ON WITH THE STORY! EVERYONE'S WAITING!" Oh, really? My my, apologies. *And mine, too.* Ah, oh, there we are.
"Uhh, Doctor? Were you shouting at us? I didn't think we were THAT loud." Derpy and I looked at him, worried.
"Oh don't worry, it was just some argument in the back of my mind. Now, where are we?"
Derpy looked at me. "It happens, you just have to get used to it."
Wow, lucky for me.
Suddenly, the noise I couldn't describe stopped. Both the Doctor and Derpy slowly opened the door, and I followed.
It... I couldn't even explain it. The only way to get a picture in your mind of this place is by comparing a small black and white no sound TV box the an 8k ultra HD full color flat screen plasma TV. That was how much more colorful it was.
The first thing that struck me was the population. It was ponies, but at that point I probably wasn't going to be surprised by anything, especially with my Heckler HK45 in the back pocket. I pledged to only use it in emergencies. Now I will pledge to only use it in life or death situations. Which was not now.
"Welcome to Equestia! What do you think?" Derpy was beside me, giggling a little at my shock.
"Well, I really didn't expect this. It's too... pink."
Derpy winced. "Yeah, I wonder who thought of that when she was creating the world..."
"Lauren Faust...."
"Who?"
"Never mind. Why exactly did you want bring me here?"
"Why, to show you our home, of course! Actually, I didn't steer us here. You see, the TARDIS has a mind of its own. So technically, she can decide where to go. She's like a living being. Hence the term, 'she'." The Doctor suddenly popped out of nowhere in particular.
But, before I could ask him how in the world he did that, our attention was diverted to a filly with a pinkish-purple-ish mane. She looked surprised to see me, but not as surprised as she would be, for some reason.
"What are you guys doing here? Derpy? Mr. Hooves? Who is he? And why is that blue box there? Oh boy, I just found another good prank for a loop. Heehee!" I was more than surprised at how she knew about the Doctor, Derpy, and even called me a "he", and a "who", not a "what", which I thought most... ponies... would say. (Honestly, they don't look anything close to ponies. Oh well.) Apparently, Derpy was thinking along the same lines as I was.
"Uhh, how do you know our names, and what's yours? And what's that about a loop?" The filly tilted her head.
"Oh. My name is Sweetie Belle, and I'm.... stuck in a time loop..."
"Oh? Tell me, Ms. Belle, how many loops have you gone through?" The Doctor spoke up, and Sweetie Belle turned her head.
"Sweetie is fine, and I think I've been doing it for about 40 loops. I'm not sure anymore."
"Hmm... I think I might be able to help you. You see, you're stuck in a time loop, and when a certain time passes, everything that is not inside a room you are in resets, I believe. But, if you were to spend a loop in my TARDIS, technically, the TARDIS is in every point of space and time, there but not there. That can make is an anchor to stop the looping. Now, Im not sure what will happen wit h the looping 'magic' after, but I'm sure that you'll at least be able to see a second after the loop ends." I was genuinely surprised. It's not often you see someone who you think is insane suddenly start speaking jargon for five straight minutes. Then again, this is the Doctor.
You know, often times, the more quiet times are more of the important ones. This was one of those times.
"Crow."
"Yes?"
"There's one important rule when you're my companion." He was staring wide eyed behind us.
"WHOA! WHAT THE IS THAT? AND WHY CAN'T I CUSS?" We were running from a creature that looked something like a Minotaur. I don't know how Greek mythology mixed into a pony world, but I'm sure there were reasons... that I will never know.
Derpy, lucky as she was, was flying some 2 feet above us. "In the magical world of equestria, the magic created by the all powerful creator, thought to be Lauren Faust, or more commonly known as Fausticorn, and that's kind of a stupid name, no offense, made this world to be only compatible for 7-year old girls. But, for some reason, 20-something year old people keep coming into this world. They seem to like it! Anyways, since then, you can't cuss. It automatically blocks it out. That's why you'll see us do "substitutes" and OH BUCK IT'S GETTING CLOSER! WHERE'S SWEETIE?"
Well, I know one cuss word now. Behind us, Doctor picked up Sweetie and put her on his back. We all ran, but of course, we couldn't run forever. Out of breath, we were trapped with mountain cliffs surrounding us. This is sooooooo cliche, I wonder what's happening next? Is someone going to save us? But, there was no one there, they were sadly alone, to their deaths. The monster slowly raised its fists, and
ughh.... where am I? where are the others? "Doctor? Derpy?"
A faint "here" could be heard some where over the pile of... oh god. Are those--?
With a grimace, I slowly climbed over the gruesome looking... OKAY, I NEED TO TAKE A BREAK NOW! (Bleargghh!)
Okay... *huff* as he climbed over the gruesome... bodies... he could see the 3 ponies, safe and sound, if not a bit... red. Doing a quick body scan, and thankful for everything that was still there, I started looking around. It appeared to be a cave, with holes with grass in them lit up to illuminate the area.
And then I made the mistake of looking down.
To describe this scene, we would have to change to the "Mature" tag, along with the "Gore" tag, so I can't exactly tell you what it looked like. I CAN, however, tell you that it looked similar to hmm... about a hundred mutilated bodies stacked on top of each other, and then buried under bones, and then a splash of blood oh, say, there, there, and everywhere.
What was strange though, was that not only pony bones were here, but also zebra, and... humans? That is a mystery I will never find out, and hope I never will find out. Fortunately, the monster thingermajigger was gone for now, and do I see a TARDIS?
"AH, there's the TARDIS when you need it! Let's get out!" The others were fully awake, and staring at the horrors, and the TARDIS.
"All these bodies! I wish I could help!" Derpy was most affected, since she was very sensitive, even with all the travel with the Doctor. For some reason, Sweetie didn't seem so affected. Was she in the loop for THAT long?
"Well, I think we should go. Any longer and the huge monster might come back, and this time we might not be so lucky." The others agreed to this, and so we stepped into the TARDIS and left behind the horrors behind us.
It looked at them, walking astray into a plain. Not, yet, we must wait until the moment to strike. Oh, how silly of them to come upon this place. They have no idea! And with that, it headed to its place, to warn his comrades. As it did so, it felt a breeze on his shoulder. The Winds of Change, it thought,and with that, it started off again, a grin on its face.

"This place looks peaceful enough," Crow announced after inspecting the area. "Though most of the time, the enemy is behind shadows." There was a silent agreement. They'd experienced it themselves or heard about it. Foes, lurking behind you, ready to slit your throat when you were sleeping. They continued walking for a while, but they soon got tired and lost.
"Man, I'm hungry. How do you even get food in the TARDIS?" It seemed that food came out of nowhere, but Crow didn't know that was supposed to happen. It's the TARDIS, for Faust's sake!
"Um, so the Doctor just goes to his butter closet and that's pretty much it. I carry some food with me, since the TARDIS has a kitchen and a lot of ponies have recognized my muffin-baking skill." And with that, Derpy pulled out some muffins. Now, where, you might ask, were those muffins? And let me answer your question with another question: Do you really want to know? ... Yes? Well... Derpy... has... um... a-- oh wait. This is a teen-rated story. Derpy has a pocket in her cutie mark, remember? Gosh, I swear half of the sentient beings in the world have amnesia. Anyways, they dished out the muffins, with the Doctor getting a tiny muffin plus a lot of butter (specifically ordered to be shaped in a circle mountain). The Doctor eats butter, and he eats it in style., Crow getting a suspiciously dark muffin, and Derpy getting a blueberry one. Crow found that the suspiciously dark muffin was suspiciously delicious (you gotta love his tenacity), Doctor ate his muffin, yes, with all the butter, and Derpy ate her muffin. ... ... Were you expecting more? Yes. Too bad, ain't gettin' nuthin' :( After they had their snack, they went to sleep as most cliche movie actors do. And just before Crow closed his eyes as is brain started to shut down, he heard a whistling and a slight breeze. Winds of Change his subconscious mind thought, but was completely ignored by his barely conscious mind who thought: What a nice breeze.
So, as you can see, I haven't been updating much, and that's because I can't find some good ideas for this story anymore. I don't know how to continue. I might even cancel it. So, this decision will be left to you little squadron of readers. If you think that this story isn't going anywhere and that I should abandon ship, or that I should continue it, tell me in the comments. I honestly fell like just making another story, though.
