Granny Smith's dead, Scootaloo's no longer a crusader, and Silver Spoon really hates Applebloom and Diamond Tiara for making friends with them. The question being, with Silver looming, will the new friends stick together, or will they break
Diamond Tiara.
One thing she could admit was that she respected Granny Smith. First after learning about what Granny Smith had done, and that the old mare had been one of the ponies who really helped Ponyville become Ponyville, as well as the reason Diamond Tiara's father had the kind of money and business he did these days.
After Diamond learned of Granny's Smith, she decided to change her ways, befriending Applebloom and giving her condolences. However, Diamond Tiara's now former best friend, Silver Spoon, antagonized the cutie mark crusaders even more, and tried her best to try and get Diamond Tiara to be her friend again, but so far Diamond has remained loyal to her new friends.
Scootaloo, the orange pegasus filly that had been constantly made fun of, due to everything happening, she officially quit the cutie mark crusaders, and has yet to be seen since.
Babs Seed... once again turning on her cousin and friends, has aligned with Silver Spoon, unbeknownst to her. Silver has changed her plans.. it was no longer about getting Diamond back, it was about eliminating her... it was about making them all.... face..... her.....
"Uhh... I'm still a little confused Applebloom." said Diamond Tiad.ra.
"You really haven't done to many physical things have ya?" asked Applebloom.
"No... not really." Diamond replied.
"Well if your gonna stay around here as much as ya have been, your gonna have to work. Not my rule." Applebloom stated.
"Applejack?" Diamond simply asked.
"Yup." Applebloom simply answered.
"Alright so here's the first thing. Ya gotta either take one of the buckets over there, or one of the smaller carts over there." Applebloom begin telling Diamond Tiara, pointing to some buckets and small carts, the size of them easily making it known that they are for fillies or colts.
"Alright." Diamond said.
"Are ya even paying attention to what I'm saying?" Applebloom asked.
"...I lost track about 5 minutes ago." Diamond stated, smiling a bit awkwardly.
"Let me make it simple: Do what ah do." Applebloom stated with a slightly annoyed expression.
Applebloom walked over to the buckets and gave one to Diamond, before speaking up once again.
"Alright, so we're gonna start with the buckets. We'll move onto carts when ya got the hang of the buckets." Applebloom stated.
"So what do I do with it?"' Diamond asked.
"Put it on your back until you get to a tree, then put it under the leaves, turn around and buck the tree with your hindlegs as hard as ya can." Applebloom stated.
"Uh.. alright." Diamond non-chalantly replied.
Diamond then tried to put the bucket on her back, failing quite a bit, which drew some laughs from Applebloom, much to Diamond's dismay, almost making her make an old remark.
"Hey, stop laughing at me blan- ....sorry." Diamond aplogized, after starting to insult Applebloom, but cutting herself off before she did.
"It's fine Diamond, old habits. Ya gotta grow out of em, ya don't just say I'M GONNA STOP DOING THIS NOW! It just doesn't work that way, although the world would be a lot different if it did." Applebloom told Diamond.
"I can agree with that...." Diamond simply replied.
Applejack walked up to the two fillies, coming out of the barn, she was already sweating a bit, probably having been working for a while now.
"Howdy you two, what ya doin?" AJ asked.
"Ah'm tryna teach Diamond how we work around here." AB replied.
"That so? Well.. no offense lil sis, but ya gotta learn from the best. So if anypony is gonna be teaching around here it's gonna be me." AJ stated.
"Can't ah please?" AB asked a bit pleadingly.
"No, now Diamond follow me. Ya aren't even ready for buckets yet." AJ said, walking off as she was talking.
"I'm doomed..." Diamond said under her breath, reluctantly following the orange farm pony.
After they got inside the barn, Applejack began to speak up again.
"Just cause we're apples doesn't mean that's all we're about" Applejack said, before resuming her talking. "Ya know how to round up the chickens?" Applejack asked, looking back at Diamond.
"I've never worked at a farm in my life, I don't know the first thing about first things on a farm." Diamond said.
"Ah kinda figured... ah mean no offense but yer father did just let ya stay at home all day and spoil you rotten." AJ stated.
"Doesn't mean you need to remind me that." Diamond said.
"Well, yeah but... anyways let's just get on with this before ah go on an unnecessary rant." AJ said, before leading Diamond to the chicken coop, opening the door and then closing it, she got a timer out.
"What's the timer for?" Diamond asked, a bit nervous now.
"Oh, you'll see" Applejack stated, chuckling slightly before opening up the door to the chicken's coop.
"Oh..... crap...." Diamond said, before a stampede of chickens rushed out and nearly ran her over, Diamond having to stay in the very middle as the chickens seemed to avoid the middle for whatever reason.
"H-Hey! Stop that" Diamond said, noting a chicken was pecking at her hooves.
"OOOH! What's going on here?" a certain pink pony with a puffy pink mane said, suddenly standing next to Applejack.
"Uh... hi Pinkie... and ah'm seeing how long Diamond here can last before she's begging to get out." AJ said with a chuckle.
"Isn't that dangerous? I mean I know there chickens... but don't you know what happens when you make a chicken angry?!" Pinkie asked with a bit of shock as to why AJ would do this.
"Uh... they never get mad Pinkie, so ah've never had to worry about it, besides whats the worst that could happen?" AJ stated.
"Only 30 seconds, well she beat Applebloom's first attempt." AJ said with a Chuckle.
"Uh...AJ?" Pinkie said, hesitantly.
"Ah remember Bloom's first attempt... ah hadn't had a laugh like that in ages ah tell you." AJ said, seemingly not hearing Pinkie.
"AJ...." Pinkie said, still trying to get Applejack's attention.
"But then again, Granny also said my first attempt wasn't all that great eit-" Applejack was saying before being cut off.
"AJ!!!!!!" Pinkie basically screamed.
"What?" Applejack asked.
Pinkie Pie simply pointed in front of them, somehow the chickens had figured out climbing ontop of each other, one of them unlocks the gate and they all hop down.
"Okay... that's never happened before. Git back in there ya varmits! Don't make me-" AJ was stating, before the chickens stampeded over her, about 60 chickens running out of the gate and to the exit of the farm towards Ponyville.
"Didn't see that one coming..." AJ said, surprised.
"I was trying to warn you" Pinkie said.
"Whatever, let's go get those things." Applejack replied, before whistling for Winona.
Once Winona came over to Applejack, she and AJ ran into Ponyville, only to see the chickens weren't even stampeding through the town but rather they had Diamond Tiara standing on top of a balcony close to the ground.
"They must not like you too much" AJ stated.
"Well thanks Captain Obvious!" Diamond yelled, obviously scared. "GET THESE CRAZY CHICKENS AWAY FROM ME!"
"Alright ya little varmits now listen here... either ya'll get back to the farm or Winona and ah here wi-" AJ again got cut off, her and Winona both run over by the chickens.
"Ow..." AJ reacted with, before helping her dog back up and chased after them, only to discover Twilight had already caught them.
"Oh... uh... hey Twilight... heheh..." AJ reacted nervously.
"These belong to you?" Twilight simply asked.
"Yeah... they do." AJ replied.
"Well, get them back to your farm. While they didn't go to far through town they still destroyed stuff." Twilight said, pointing to about a dozen torn up concession stands, a few ponies sitting on broken benches, and one pony for some reason with a Tail that looked like it had been bit off a bit.
"Since when do chickens bite?" AJ asked.
"Just get them back to the farm." Twilight stated.
"Alright alright." AJ said.
Applejack, Winona and Diamond Tiara then returned to the farm, locking the chickens back in the coop.
"Ah apologize for that Diamond, ah did not know that was gonna happen, honest."
"Can we just start with the apples tomorrow?" Diamond asked, disgruntled.
"Yeah, we'll do that. AH don't think ah'm gonna be bringing ponies around the coop for awhile." AJ Stated.
"Yeah, definitely. This was not really a day where I think I learned anything basic... let alone learning the basics." Diamond stated.
"Yeah..." AJ somewhat replied.
"Well, I'm gonna go home now. Tell Applebloom I headed home." Diamond told AJ.
"Alright, ah'll do that." AJ said, waving at Diamond as she left, Diamond waved back, while meanwhile....
"Oh wow, talk about embarassing. She got chased by chickens! hahahaha! I was actually friends with her? She's worse than the blank flanks! I can't wait to show this to everypony in School tomorrow." stated our not so friendly filly with blue glasses.
"Want me to spy again tomorrows?" A manehatten accented voice said.
"Yes Babs, spy on them again tomorrow, especially now that your here in Ponyville with me. It will make my plans a lot easier, I will make Diamond pay for leaving me behind.... but first...." Silver said, trailing off as she looked at a picture babs gave her of a roaming Scootaloo.
"Let's deal a blow to the Cutie Mark Couple." Silver stated.
"Alright class, today we'll be learning about the history of Canterlot. Now I know your probably all wondering, why are we learning about Canterlot? We live in Ponyville. Well, Canterlot is the most populated place in Equestria, and is also the most key place of equestria, as It's home to the castle of the rulers of equestria, our long time Princesses, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, as well as to both their royal guards. Now what you may not know is-" Cheerilee was saying, before being cut off by an interuppting Silver Spoon.
"Who cares about the history of Canterlot? It's gotta be a very very boring subject." Silver Spoon stated in a bored tone.
"Actually Silver Spoon, the history of Canterlot has a lot to do with Discord, and nothing Discord does is boring, as much as I hate to admit to his antics, as one way or another things get turned upside down... literally." Cheerilee told Silver.
"We're just kids, how are we supposed to know what your talking about?" asked Silver.
"....Are you serious?" Cheerilee asked.
"What? It's a legitimate question." Silver replied.
"I know you don't know what I'm talking about it, that's why your here to learn." Cheerilee stated.
"Yeah, whatever." Silver said in a non-caring tone.
"You know, you should be more respectful to your teacher, after all... you can learn a lot of things from older ponies. Even I take some time to sit back and learn." said a male voice, that belonged to who Cheerilee was just talking about.
The entire classroom looked back at Discord, who was sitting in an oversized desk, well, it was big enough for him, he had a giant pencil in his hand and overly sized reading glasses.
"What? I'm just saying." Discord stated, noting that suddenly all eyes in the room were staring at him.
"Discord, what are you doing?" Cheerilee asked.
"Why learning of course my dear Cheerilee." Discord stated with a grin.
"Yeah...... okay as I was saying class.... we'll be learning about..." Cheerilee stopped as she heard something that sounded like a game being played, looking back at Discord.
"High Score! Let's see anypony beat 530,000,000,000!" Discord said, playing an old arcade game on a portable game device.
"DISCORD!" Cheerilee yelled.
"What?" Discord asked, acting as if he did nothing.
"It's fine that you want to play as a student in the class, just so long as you actually don't disturb my actual class." Cheerilee replied in a serious tone.
"OH Pooh. Fine, I'll play by your rules my sweet sunflower." Discord said with a wink.
"Um... b-back to the lesson now..." Cheerilee said, blushing a bit from Discord's comment.
"Yes, back to the lesson dear, these children need to learn someway or another." Discord said.
"Shut up Discord." Cheerilee stated, annoyed.
"Oh, now that isn't very nice Ms. Cheerilee, a teacher shouldn't use that sort of language, especially to one of their own students." Discord mocked, pretending to be offended.
"YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT IN MY CLASS!" Cheerilee yelled.
The entire Classroom looked at Cheerilee, surprised at the longtime teacher's visual and sudden outburst.
"Eheheh.... sorry." Cheerilee said with a nervous giggle.
"Tsk tsk tsk, yelling at a student in class, afraid I'm gonna have to write you up for that." said Discord, who was suddenly standing at the entrance of the classroom wearing a Principal like outfit and jotting something down on a notepad.
"I'm getting really angry right now Discord." Cheerile said, her face now red from anger, not from blushing.
"Well I apologize Ms. Cheerilee, I'll go sit back down now." Discord said, chuckling as he pet the school mare's head and returned to his oversized seat.
"Now then.... as I was saying....DISCORD!" Cheerilee yelled, before she could even finish her original sentence.
"What?" Discord asked, his desk on the ceiling upside down while he was sitting in it.
"I don't see anything wrong with what I'm doing." Discord said.
"YOUR SITTING ON THE CEILING!" Cheerilee screamed.
"Correction, I'm sitting at my desk. My desk simply happens to be on the ceiling instead of the floor." Discord stated with a chuckle.
"He's weird." Diamond said to Applebloom.
"Oh trust me, Discord is way beyond weird, he's Discord." Applebloom stated.
"Yes, that is who I am, I am Discord, Discord is me, I Discord." Discord said, suddenly next to the two.
"AAH!" Applebloom jumped, falling out of her chair.
"Stop doing that!" Diamond said to Discord, before helping Applebloom up.
"You ok Applebloom?" Diamond asked her friend.
"Yeah.. ah'm fine." Applebloom replied.
"I'm actually trying to learn you multiple... where'd he go?" Diamond said, confused.
"Now, we'll be learning about Quantum Physics and the entire history of the universe." Discord said, now in a teacher's outfit, with some teacher's glasses on.
"YOU CAN'T TEACH SMALL CHILDREN ABOUT QUANTUM PHYSICS, DISCORD!" Cheerilee screamed, becoming very frustrated with the Draconequus.
"Quiet!" Discord shouted, before using magic to place Cheerilee in a chair in the back of the room.
"I AM NOT A... MM!" Cheerilee got cut off, Discord making her mouth disappear.
"You'll get that back when your ready." Discord said, smiling before returning to the board.
"Now, where were we... right! Chaos Theory!" Discord excitingly shouted.
"What's Chaos Theory?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Ah, I'm glad you asked Sweetie Belle. You could actually teach your sister a thing or two with this. You see, a lot of ponies cannot understand how I use my magic, as whenever they try my type of magic, it always fails. Why is this you ask? Well it's because Chaos Magic does what you least expect. If you expect it to work, it will never work." Discord stated.
"..which means?" Sweetie confusingly questioned.
"Which means that when you expect it to fail, it will work every time!" Discord replied with glee.
"Uh......" Sweetie managed to utter.
"Perhaps we should try something easier." Discord said.
The entire class nodded
"Let's learn about mating." Discord said with a chuckle.
"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" the entire classroom said in unison.
"Okay, how about-" Discord was saying, before being cut off by another pony entering the room.
"That's enough Discord." A Majestic voice that belonged to only one said.
The entire class looked over and stared in shock and awe at who was standing in the door, as it was none other than Princess Celestia, who then made her way into the classroom.
"But I was having fun!" Discord pouted.
"Not everything's about having fun." Celestia stated.
"Oh your such a buzzkill Celestia..." Discord said, groaning.
"And your out of Control." Celestia said, giving Discord a look that scared him.
"EE! Alright alright." Discord said, knowing what that look was for, he gave cheerilee her mouth back and exited the room.
Cheerilee walked back to the front of the class, also quite shocked to see the Princess in her room, she bowed out of respect.
"Thank you Princess Celestia." Cheerilee said with a relieved tone.
"You are welcome Ms. Cheerilee." Celestia said, before beginning to exit the room.
"Wait!" Cheerilee yelled, hoping the Alicorn would stop.
"Hmm? What is it Ms. Cheerilee?" Celestia asked, stopping.
"U-Um... I was about to go over the history of Canterlot. I don't really know it all too well actually, do you think you could stay a bit and help the kids learn about it?" Cheerilee asked.
"I don't see any reason why not." Celestia said with a smile, before returning to the room.
"I'll sit in the empty desk Scootaloo is usually in." Cheerilee said.
"You may stay at your desk Cheerilee, Im used to standing for long periods of time." Celestia stated.
"Oh... ok" Cheerilee said, returning to her desk and sitting down.
"Yes, what is it Sweetie Belle?" Celestia asked, acknowledging a raised hoof Sweetie Belle.
"Did you and Princess Luna ever go to school when you were young?" Sweetie asked, her question actually peaking interest out of every pony in the room except Silver Spoon as they all seemed to look at Celestia, waiting for her answer.
"I did not. I learned everything I knew back then from either my mother, or by reading books." Celestia answered, the classroom seemingly a bit surprised by the Alicorn's answer.
"Really?" Applebloom asked.
"Yes, back then there was no thing like school, nor had it even been thought of. The Actual 'School' for learning is not even as old as my School for Gifted Unicorns, which was originally called 'Academy for Gifted Unicorns'." Celestia replied.
"Is Starswirl the Bearded Real?" Twist asked.
"Yes Twist, Starswirl was indeed a real being. One of the most gifted magic users Equestria has ever had, but he did not understand friendship." Celestia stated.
"How did you make Princess Twilight an alicorn?" Diamond Tiara asked.
"That is something that I cannot explain in terms that you will understand, for not even an elder pony can understand it." Celestia replied.
"Why is that? I thought all magic was teachable." Diamond said.
"Much like I overheard Discord talk about Chaos Magic and how it's unpredictable, you are wrong my little pony. There is magic that is both forbidden, and to complex for that of a standard magic user to understand. Princess Twilight simply had the gift of being able to learn things that most ponies could not at a young age, and that is why I took her under my wing, but not even I expected she would make it this far this fast. I believe in time, she may even surpass the ability of my own." Celestia stated.
The entire class gasped, seemingly shocked at the idea of a pony who's only been an alicorn for 2 years would soon surpass a Lifelong Alicorn, who's life was more than 2 millenia long
A guard walked into the room and muttered something into the Princesses ear before leaving the room.
"I am sorry my little ponies, but I must be on my way, I am needed back in Canterlot for something important. Cheerilee you may contact me again if you wish for me to speak about Canterlot if I can." Celestia stated.
The entire class ran up and hugged Celestia except for Silver Spoon, whom Celestia eyed a bit, but let it slide before giving her goodbyes and leaving, the bell for the end of the school day soon ringing afterwards.
30 minutes later
"Have you seen Scootaloo at all? Sweetie? Diamond?" Applebloom asked, worried for her former fellow Cutie Mark Crusader and close friend.
"I haven't seen her since the day she quit the Crusaders." Sweetie sadly replied.
"She quit the Crusaders? Diamond asked, a bit surprised.
"Yeah... she felt like she wasn't needed anymore... and we miss her real bad..." Applebloom said, looking down at the ground sadly.
"I'll help you find her." Diamond said with a smile.
"R-Really?" Applebloom asked.
"REALLY?" Sweetie said loudly, squeaking.
"Yes." Diamond simply replied.
Both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom hugged Diamond Tiara, making it official the three were friends.
"So this is part of everything you do?" Diamond asked, as she watched Applejack collect apples.
"Pretty much, after all we run an apple farm, not to mention the names." Applebloom said.
"Ya got that right..." Diamond said, almost rolling her eyes at the apple relatedness.
"Hey ah think ah see somepony coming" Applebloom said.
Indeed, somepony was headed to the farm, that being none other than Applebloom's cousin, Babs Seed.
"Babs!" Applebloom yelled, surprised.
"Hey cuz." Babs nonchalantly replied, in her strong manehatten accent.
"Oh... you." Diamond said.
"Whats the matter? Still sour from when I sent yous and your best friend into the mud?" Babs told Diamond with a chuckle.
"Whatever." Diamond replied.
"Knock it off you two..." Applebloom said.
"Pfft. Pretty Pink Princess is just all pouty cause I pushed her off a porch." Babs said.
"Nice alliteration dweeb." Diamond said.
"How original. Dweeb. WHat's next blank flank? Yeah I dares ya, call me a blank flank." Babs told Diamond, a bit of harshness behind her tone, easily in a provoking manner.
".....um...." Diamond muttered a bit.
"What? Didn't quite hear that miss prissy." Babs said, getting in Diamond's face.
"U-U-Um...." Diamond begin to back down a little bit, a bit scared of how aggressive Babs was being.
"Pathetic." Babs said, shoving Diamond down into the dirt, and taking her tiara.
"H-Hey! G-Give that back!" Diamond yelled.
"MAKE ME!" Babs screamed back, in pure aggression.
Diamond covered her face, not used to being the one picked on, but now that she felt it, she had an even harder time believing she used to do this to Applebloom and her friends, as it really hurt, Diamond began to sob a bit, not knowing what to do, and she herself never being much of a fighter.
"Oh waah waah you little foal." Babs mocked, putting Diamonds tiara on and acting like Diamond used to be.
Babs got knocked to the ground, unsuspecting of a certain Applebloom who literally smacked her on the cheek.
"That's enough!" yelled Applebloom. "What's gotten into you Babs?!" she questioned.
Applebloom backed off a bit, surprised that the only retaliation she got was a growl instead of an explanation.
"I don't needs to tell yous anything cuz.... I don't owe you nothings. NOTHINGS!" Babs yelled, spitting at Applebloom.
"You're really gonna help this quack out?! After all the crap she puts you through?! That's why I don't take yous seriously! Yous too stupid to realize, ponies don't just change in an instant! She's still the same little bitch she was before! And I guess now, looking at you... your her bitch." Babs said coldly, before kicking dirt into Applebloom's face and leaving.
Applebloom began to cry, shocked at what had just happened, not believing how cold her cousin had been and that she'd kicked dirt into her face, before Diamond Tiara come over to comfort her
"I-I bet she's right! Y-Your just doing this ain't ya?!" Applebloom yelled at Diamond, almost smacking her away.
"A-Applebloom... trust me... I've changed... I'm not just doing this. I meant how bad I felt about your granny passing, and looking back on how things are.. I really am sorry about how I treated you all those years... please... don't throw me out... y-your all I have left... your really my friend... a-and I want us to stay friends... every time I hear or usher the words "blank flank" I get sick to my stomach... and the only thing that makes me sicker is my so called former friend Silver Spoon... the way she acted after all this... it was... just disgusting... far beyond anything I ever could do... far beyond anything I ever thought she could do... she crossed a line you just don't cross...." Diamond said, before hugging Applebloom and nuzzling her, trying to comfort her as she said, new friend.
"Y-Ya really have changed... A-Ah'm sorry for almost buying into what Babs said...." Applebloom said, sorrowfully.
"It's alright... you were just thinking like that cause Babs is family... but sometimes you learn the hard way, not all family is there for you... some family doesn't want you." Diamond said, with a tone that seemed like she'd experienced such a thing in her life as well.
"W-We need to find Sweetie Belle... a-ah want her to know you aren't so bad after all... a-and afterwards maybe we can find Scootaloo...." Applebloom said.
"Alright. We'll do that. But first we need to get something to eat. I know one thing good about apples." Diamond said, smiling.
Applebloom smiled as well slowly, as the two fillies then said in unison "Apple Pie!" which prompted them both to giggle at the timing.
They then made their way inside, sitting at a table, it actually being around dinner time.
"Ya'll are a bit early, dinners not for 20 more minutes ya hungry little varmits." Applejack said, jokingly at the varmits part.
"Well... we were gonna head down to the Carousel Boutique and see if we could talk to Sweetie Belle." Applebloom replied.
"Ah, alright just make sure yer home by 8:00. Ah don't want Mac lifting the entire barn again tryin to find ya." Applejack said.
"He actually did that?" Applebloom replied out of surprise.
"He's strong when he's normal, when he's worried... he worries me with how strong he gets.... ah'd rather not talk about some other things that have happened." Applejack explained.
"Alright AJ.." Applebloom said.
Applebloom and Diamond Tiara waited for 20 more minutes, and then soon after that time Apple Pie had been cooked, and they took their time to eat, before giving their goodbyes to both Applejack and Big Mac, and heading out for the Carousel Boutique, it was around 6:00 PM so they had just over an hour, and would most likely have an entire hour, and maybe an hour and a half, by the time they got to the boutique.
"Ya in there Sweetie? Rarity?" Applebloom asked, knocking on the door to the Carousel Boutique, it having taking them to 6:30 to get there.
"Cooooming~" Rarity said, in her familiar sing song tone, before opening the door. "Ah, hello Applebloom and... um... Diamond Tiara?" she said, looking at Applebloom confused, knowing the history of Applebloom and Diamond Tiara, as well as the history her younger sister Sweetie Belle had with Diamond.
"It's a long story." Applebloom simply said.
"Oh.. well ok, but if your here to talk to Sweetie Belle, have fun explaining that to her." Rarity said in return.
"Trust me, ah will... hopefully nothing gets broken. 'Specially cause ah know you can be about that." Applebloom said.
"Are you implying something?" Rarity asked, in a somewhat disgruntled tone.
"Rarity, everypony knows how you are about things being broken." Applebloom told Rarity.
"...I suppose that is correct..." Rarity said. "Fine, come in, but make sure nothing gets brok- you get the point." Rarity said, not wanting to give Applebloom the satisfaction of being correct.
"Alright, will do." Applebloom said, chuckling as she and Diamond walked in, and went up to Sweetie Belle's room, which was open, so they walked on in."
"Hey Sweetie." Applebloom said.
"Oh hey Appleblo- why is she here?" Sweetie asked, turning her was-going-to-be-greeting into a question about Diamond Tiara's presence.
"She's been supportive of me and kind ever since Granny Smith died. She even attended Granny's funeral." Applebloom stated.
"OH THATS..... really nice of her actually..." Sweetie said, surprised to hear about Diamond doing such a good deed.
"Ah know it sounds shocking, and ah'm still a little shocked she's being this nice, but ah'm not complaining either." Applebloom said, smiling a little.
"You really did that for her Diamond?" Sweetie asked, turning her attention to her longtime Pink Rival.
"I did. I may have been her enemy at the time, but I thought it would be very disrespectful.. and I don't even think I was completely her enemy at the time... just.. something happened that's changed my outlook, and me and Applebloom clicked as friends... I'm really hoping we'll do the same Sweetie, I don't want a possible fight between us make Applebloom lose another friend..." Diamond said, remembering about what Applebloom had said about Scootaloo.
"Oh... yeah... Scootaloo...." Sweetie murmured, before continuing. "Alright... but as long as you don't just use us. I don't want to find out you were doing this just so you could stab us in the back later on." Sweetie said in a more serious tone.
"Trust me, the way I was in the past, If I was going to stab you in the back, I'd have done it already." Diamond replied.
"She's got a point Sweetie, she was like that in the past." Applebloom said, backing Diamond's point.
"Okay firstly... I never thought I'd hear the day Applebloom and Diamond Tiara agreed on something, and second... I never thought I'd be agreeing with Diamond Tiara, but I am." Sweetie said, shaking her head out a bit, wondering if she had a fever or something.
"Sometimes your greatest enemies can become your greatest allies." Diamond said, smiling.
"YUP!" Applebloom yelled, giggling.
"Ow.." Diamond and Sweetie said in unison, rubbing their ears.
"Eheheh... sorry." Applebloom said.
"It's fine... but why are you here anyway, you don't just usually come here to see me, even when Scootaloo was still with us you didn't do that.
"Well.. um... It's about Babs. She's back." Applebloom said, her tone a bit sad.
"Why are you so sad? Shouldn't that be a good thing?" Sweetie asked, not knowing about what had happened not long ago.
"It should be... but.. she completely mocked me and Diamond... she stole Diamond's tiara if you hadn't noticed." Applebloom said, her tone even sadder now.
"I was wondering why she wasn't wearing that.. she always does..." Sweetie said, more focused on the fact Diamond wasn't wearing her tiara than the rest of what had happened.
"That's not what's important Sweetie, I may have had my tiara stolen, but the real problem here is how Babs treated Applebloom. She growled at her, knocked her down and kicked dirt in her face. And called her a word that ponies of our age shouldn't even be saying." Diamond said.
"Wow.... she really did all that?" Sweetie asked, shocked by yet another thing.
"Yeah... it was terrible..." Applebloom said.
"After she did what she did to me.. it made me understand even more how you 3 had felt when I bullied you... and for that, I am even more sorry than I was before, because it felt terrible." Diamond admitted.
"Aw... it's no problem Diamond, as long as we know you've changed for the better." Sweetie said, smiling a bit.
"Thanks... that really helps." Diamond said, smiling back.
Diamond then got a group hug, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle both hugging her, which surprised the pink filly, but she eventually accepted it and hugged them both back.
"Welp... we better get going back to the farm. AJ told me to be back by 8:00." Applebloom said.
"I.. think I'll stay here for now Applebloom, I want to get to know your best friend as well." Diamond told Applebloom.
"Alright, if your sure. Just don't be surprised if her sister Rarity puts you to work." Applebloom said with a giggle.
"I've been around similar environments like this, I think I can handle it." Diamond said with a smile, before hugging Applebloom.
"Alright, you two take care then." Applebloom replied, hugging Diamond back and then giving Sweetie Belle a hug before leaving.
Diamond Tiara spent the night at the carousel boutique, there was no school today so it gave her time to hang around with Sweetie Belle, who she was hoping she'd be able to make friends with as well.
8 AM
"So what do you like to do?" Diamond asked.
"I like drawing." Sweetie replied.
"I can tell, you have drawings all over your room." Diamond noted, chuckling a bit.
"Do you have a problem with that?" Sweetie asked.
"No, no not at all." Diamond said.
"Wanna try something?" Sweetie asked.
"Uh... sure. I'm not one for drawing but I'm not terrible at it." Diamond answered.
"What colors do you want?" Sweetie asked.
"Um.... A light yelow... red... violet red... and orange." Diamond replied.
"Um... really? Those don't seem like your kind of color to me." Sweetie said, a bit confused by Diamonds color choice.
"Eheh.. guess I'm full of surprises huh? ...Anyways those are the colors I want." Diamond said.
"Alright, if you say so." Sweetie said, giving Diamond those colors as well as a large piece of cardboard paper.
"Have Fun." Sweetie also said.
"I will.." Diamond said, smiling.
Diamond then began to draw something random at first, or so she thought, until she saw she'd drawn the shape of a fillies body.
"Oh my..." Diamond said to herself before continuing.
She then continues to draw, noting she draws a head, as well as a red mane, and soon she finds herself staring at a perfect picture of Applebloom.
"O-O-Oh my.. i-i-i-i think I'm obsessed with her..." DIamond said to herself.
"What'd ya ma- is that Applebloom?" Sweetie asked, giggling.
"U-U-U-U-U-Um....." Diamond simply got out, beginning to blush a bit.
"Does somepony have a crush?" Sweetie asked with a bit of a mocking tone.
"N-No!" Diamond said, turning her head, although her blush grew redder.
"Nu-uh your lying!" Sweetie teased.
"N-No I'm not!" Diamond said, trying to keep her red cheeks under control.
"Do!" Sweetie said.
"Don't!" Diamond replied.
"Do!" "Don't!" "Do!" "Don't!" "Don't!" "Do! ...ah crap!" Diamond said, coming out on the short end of that argument.
"I knew it! Somepony's got a crush!" Sweetie said, giggling.
"O-Okay fine... maybe a small one... b-but don't tell anypony! E-Especially Applebloom!" Diamond said, embarassed.
"Oh don't worry... I won't tell her... as long as you do something for me." Sweetie said, a bit mischeviously.
"A-Alright, just don't spill my secret!" Diamond yelled.
"Good, very good. The first thing I want you to do is clean my room so Rarity stops complaining about it." Sweetie said.
"Y-Your room..?" Diamond asked nervously, as she looked over the room, which looked like it'd been the victim of A tornado, a hurricane and an earthquake at the same exact time, her eyes widening.
"Yup!" Sweetie replied, giggling again.
"A-Auuuoh....." Diamond weezily said, before fainting.
Diamond woke up a little later in a bed, looking up at a larger white pony than Sweetie, with a purple mane.. Rarity.
"What happened...?" Diamond said, not knowing what was going on.
"My sister tried to get you to clean that... if you want to call it room... and you fainted." Rarity said.
"I did..?" Diamond replied.
"Yes, you took one look around the room, wobbled and fell over like this." Rarity said, imitating Diamond Tiara, except her fainting couch comes out of nowhere as usual and she falls on it.
"Uh..." Diamond got out, before poking Rarity, who was stiff as a board.
"Did she really just faint like that?" Diamond asked, not quite believing what had just happened.
Meanwhile
"Hey twerp!" Babs yelled.
"What do you want..." a certain orange pegasus filly said.
"I heard ya quit the crusaders." Babs said.
"Yeah, so?" Scootaloo asked.
"Well.. why don't yous join us? We needs a third." Babs said, smiling like she was friendly.
"...I'm tired of being a third wheel. I'm done with that stuff.. it's all crap. Just leave me alone." Scootaloo said.
"And If I don't?" Babs asked, turning a bit aggressive.
"Get lost Babs." Scootaloo said.
"Make me." Babs said with confidence.
"Oh it's on!" Scootaloo said, turning and facing babs, who waved her to come in first.
Scootaloo started to come in, when suddenly she felt something hit her over the head, and everything faded to black.
"Too easy." Babs said.
"Wow.. I'm surprised. You weren't kidding, she is pretty stupid." Silver Spoon said, giggling.
"She's a pegasus, all pegasus got no brains. Just wings." Babs said.
"Can't believe she looks up to Rainbow Dash, she'll never be like her. She's just a pathetic filly who can't fly." Silver said.
"True, but we might have some use for her." Babs replied.
"Exactly, Babs. Exactly. It's time for my plan to begin. My wrath will be felt... oh it will be felt!" Silver said, before breaking out into an evil laugh.
"Yous means our plan right?" Babs asked.
"Yeah, our plan.. sorry got caught up in the whole evil schtick moment." Silver said, nervously giggling.
"Riiiight.. well let's get this deadbeat pegasus back to our base." Babs said.
"That's a good question, where are you." Silver stated, walking up to the tied Scootaloo who was in a metal bed.
"S-Silver Spoon?!" Scootaloo asked, in shock and in a bit of terror.
"Hello useless Blank Flank." Silver stated.
"Hey." Babs said, a bit annoyed, reminding Silver of a certain fact.
"Oh.. right, sorry forgot Babs." Silver said, apologizing. "Let me correct myself. Hello you worthless pegasus with stunted wings." Silver said.
"S-Stunted?" Scootaloo asked, not actually knowing what that term meant.
"Stunted means... you can't act-" Babs started to say, with a bit of remorse actually, before being cut off by Silver Spoon.
"Stunted means you have useless wings, and your a useless waste of space pegasus that can't even fly, you'll never be like Rainbow Dash!" Silver shouted coldly.
"..." Scootaloo said nothing, she was on the outside filled with rage that Silver would assume such a thing, but deep down she felt a lot of sadness... wondering if the glasses wearing filly was right.
"That was a bit harsh don't yous think?" Babs asked, not completely agreeing with Silver's method of shouting at Scootaloo.
"So? Who cares. It's not like she has any friends anyway. Besides that squeaky idiot and manebow mcgee." Silver stated.
"Hey.. manebow mcgee is my cousin now, only I gets to insult her like that." Babs stated, offended at Silver's nickname for Applebloom.
"Whatever Babs." Silver simply replied.
Babs felt some tension towards Silver Spoon. Yes, Babs didn't exactly like the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but Silver Spoon was a bit more annoying to her than she actually thought she'd be, so Babs sat there and speculated, also grumbling and mumbling to herself.
"Y-You're lying!" Scootaloo shouted.
"Am I? Or are you just in complete denial?" Silver barked back.
"I can fly!" Scootaloo said, although deep down she really wasn't sure to believe herself or not.
"You can't even jump high, that's why you ride a scooter. To go fast and jump high so it feels a bit like flying, but really it's just a pathetic attempt from a pathetic pony." Silver said.
"Hey hey hey come on Silver stop. I don't want to hear her crying." Babs said.
"I will do what I want, understood?" Silver barked at Babs.
"Alright, but do it yourself." Babs said, throwing her hooves up in the air and walking out of the room.
"Whatever." Silver said with no care."
"How could you even have ever been friends with Diamond Tiara? You're as cruel as a hardened criminal..." Scootaloo stated.
"Friends? Me and Diamond were never 'friends'. I just acted like it and when she decided not to agree with me anymore I dropped her. Sure she seemed like the leader, but that's because I let her feel like that so she'd have a sense of pride in her stupid life. She was always second fiddle." Silver said with somewhat disdain and ire about her former 'friend'.
"Wow.. your an ass." Scootaloo replied.
"At least I have one." Silver returned.
"You're ridiculous." Scootaloo said.
"And you're retarded." Silver cameback.
"At least I have friends." Scootaloo said, this debacle between the two fillies getting a bit heated.
"Who needs friends when you've got money?" Silver stated.
"Yeah where'd you get all that money? Prostitution?" Scootaloo said, using a joke she'd learned from Rainbow Dash.
"...." Silver was speechless, not expecting that. meanwhile Babs could be heard chuckling a bit in the next room over.
"I'll be right back" Silver then said, before heading to the room where Babs was.
"And just what are you chuckling about over here?" Silver asked, a bit furious.
"That argument." Babs simply stated.
"What's so funny about that? Who's side are you on anyway?!" Silver asked, getting madder quickly.
"It was a good joke." Babs said.
"Yeah, you think she came up with that on her own wise guy?" Silver asked, peering at Babs with one eye.
"Who cares, it made you all uptight, you sound ridiculous right now." Babs said.
"Oh whatever!" Silver shouted.
"Calm down." Babs said with a chuckle.
"Nopony tells me to calm down! I'm going to go let off some steam. Watch that orange brat for me." Silver stated before leaving before a reply could even be made.
"Well she seems to be in a good mood." Babs said chuckling to herself, before going back to the room Scootaloo was in, walking over to her.
"What do you want..." Scootaloo asked in a angered tone.
"Hey, I'm not here to continues that stupid stuff. Good joke by the way, let me guess- Rainbow Dash?" Babs questioned.
"How'd you..." Scootaloo asked/got cut off.
"She told me the same joke about Gilda." Babs stated.
"Gilda? She doesn't even speak about her anymore, how'd that come up?" Scootaloo asked.
"Well they managed to be in the same place at one time and it kind of escalated into an insane argument where they actually got into a fight and had to be seperated and thrown out, I just walked up to Dash and said the heck was that about?" Babs replied.
"Wow. She never told me that." Scootaloo said, curious as to why Dash never told her.
"She said she wouldn't tell you cause she would have gloated about it in that situation and she really doesn't want you to be that way." Babs stated.
"She.. cares?" Scootaloo asked, surprised, even though Dash talked to her at times, it really felt like Dash could care less about her.
"More than you probably realize." Babs answered.
"Tell me more please." Scootaloo stated.
"Alright, but it's a pretty large amount to take in." Babs said.
"I don't care, just tell me... please?" Scootaloo asked.
"Well since you said please." Babs said, chuckling.
With that Babs talked to Scootaloo for nearly an hour about Rainbow Dash and how she hid things purposefully from Scootaloo so she wouldn't get herself into trouble and about varying topics, all of which would probably... get Scootaloo in trouble, which is why Dash never spoke of them to her, because Dash really did care.
"That was some of the most amazing... and weird... stuff I've ever heard." Scootaloo said.
"Rainbow is certainly a character." Babs replied.
"Wait... why are you even talking to me? Aren't you supposed to hate me?" Scootaloo asked, remembering that Babs was aligned with Silver Spoon.
"Hate is a strong word." Babs said with a chuckle.
"Your point is?" Scootaloo asked.
"My point is, I do not hate you... Silver just simply offers things that you and your friends cannot." Babs stated.
"How to be a whore 101?" Scootaloo asked.
"Knew you'd use that one.." Babs said, mentally facehoofing herself, for telling Scootaloo all these things Rainbow Dash has said/used in the past.
"Your fault, you told me." Scoots replied.
"Yeah I know, just didn't expect you to use it THAT fast." Babs said.
"Well, despite what Silver said I know I can be fast.. I will be fast.. I will be a-" she got cut off by a returning Silver Spoon.
"A what? A loser? Derp. You already are one. You're a moron, an idiot, an idiotic moron." Silver said.
"An idiotic moron? Really? No offense Silver but 'deadbeat pegasus' here has you outgunned in terms of jokes." Babs said.
"Oh haha... Babs I'm beginning to wonder if I can even trust you.. I've been listening to you chat for the past 10 minutes to our 'guest' here." Silver replied, with a glare.
"And? I'm my own pony, I'll do's it my way If I want." Babs replied firmly.
"May I remind you who the leader and who the follower is?" Silver asked in a fake polite voice.
"You misunderstand. I didn't join you to be a follower, we're partners. Now you can deal with that or I'll leave, and leave you on your own, which we both know will lead to you failing more miserably than the time Princess Celestia actually tried to do something for once and got her ass handed to her by Queen Chrysalis." Babs replied strongly.
"Who's Queen Chrysalis and no way did she beat Princess Celestia!" Silver shouted.
"...I think your the 'idiotic moron' here as you put it." Babs stated.
"Are you gonna keep being a wise guy or what?" Silver asked madly.
"First of all... I'm not a guy. Secondly, It's hard not to sound wise once somepony listens to you." Babs replied.
"..." Silver said nothing.
"Exactly, so shut your trap and accept that we're partners." Babs said.
"Say it with honesty, and don't whatever or fine me." Babs said.
"Screw You." Silver replied.
"I'm not a lesbian, and even if I was, no way in hell would I ever screw you." Babs remarked.
"Is that supposed to be funny?" Silver asked.
"No, I'm being completely honest. I'd rather date Twist than you. At least she's interesting to talk to. Your personality is more bland than your name." Babs replied.
"Hey! I have a very good name." Silver barked.
"Have you thought about your name? 'Silver Spoon' That's literally about as bland a name you can get, your the name of a kitchen utensil.
"The only thing interesting about you is you wear glasses, for what reason none of us know, unlike with Twist who we all know has a vision problem." Babs remarked.
"I hate you." Silver replied.
"Love you too Spoony." Babs said, with a grin.
"UGH!" Silver said, storming out.
"Well.. she's even more uptight now than she was an hour ago. That's amazing! ...amazingly pitiful." Babs said, laughing a bit.
Scootaloo who had remained quiet throughout most of the conversation finally spoke up.
"Do you really like being her partner?" Scootaloo asked.
"Only for the money." Babs replied.
"Money over friends...?" Scootaloo asked, ears lowering a bit.
"Listen.. between you and me, I may turn on her." Babs said, untying Scootaloo, who was confused by the action.
"Uh..." Scootaloo simply ushered.
"Punch me." Babs said.
"What?" Scootaloo asked.
"I said Punch me." Babs said again.
"Why?" Scootaloo asked.
"So it can look like you got through me and escaped." Babs stated.
"Uh..." Scootaloo raised her hoof and 'punched' Babs... but there was an absence of malice and intent, more like she just booped Babs nose.
"Oi oi oi..." Babs said sighing.
"What..?" Scootaloo asked a little worried.
"Guess I'll do it myself." Babs said, before punching herself in the eye, it swelling up almost immediately.
"OH M-" Scootaloo said, before Babs covered her mouth.
"Just go. Now." Babs stated.
Scootaloo nodded and quickly left, through the door Silver had left open on mistake after she left for another mad spell stroll, meanwhile Babs laid on the floor and pretended to be more hurt than she was.
A few minutes later
Silver came back in and saw that Scootaloo was gone and Black Eyed Babs on the floor
"You let her get away?! Although that is funny she beat you up. I thought you were Big tough Babs. Bad Seed!" Silver said, giggling.
"What can I say.. little rascal is a tough one." Babs said, in a fake yet convincing hurt voice, before standing up 'shakily'
"Well come on we need to go find her!" Silver yelled, before running out again, not even waiting for Babs.
"Heh. You really are a dumbass." Babs said to herself, laying back down.
It's been 3 days since Scootaloo was let free by Babs Seed, however her presence had still remained a mystery as nopony still knew where she was or where she had gone, there was a short search made for her, but sadly, there wasn't much effort put into it and the search was called off after a mere whole day, meanwhile Applebloom and friends were currently in school at the moment, it just starting for the day and there was currently a one week project being worked on, it had already been 3 days, and it was due Friday, but Sweetie and Applebloom had barely managed to start, they just didn't seem to be able to finish it without Scootaloo, but Sweetie was trying her best so didn't bring it up, and Applebloom simply just didn't even hint at acknowledging it.
"Applebloom" Cheerilee began calling roll in random order.
"Here" Applebloom said.
"Sweetie Belle" Cheerilee then called out.
"Here!" Sweetie squeaked.
"Diamond Tiara" Cheerilee next called.
"I'm here." Diamond said.
"Silver Spoon" Cheerilee called with some disdain.
"Here." Silver said with a sly chuckle and creepy grin.
"....alrighty then. Babs Seed" Cheerilee called out.
Babs was not present, Silver then interrupted.
"Oh, I'm sorry Babs can't be here today the cutie mark crusaders little ex crusader punched her in the eye socket." Silver said, definitely directing that at Applebloom, trying to anger her.
"She what?!" Applebloom yelled in disbelief, sure Babs and her weren't exactly two family members that cared for each other, but Applebloom still didn't like the idea of Scootaloo hitting her cousin.
"Yep. Swollen up pretty bad." Silver said, grinning.
"Class, calm down." Cheerilee said calmly.
Applebloom and Silver kept on which escalated with Diamond and Sweetie joining in, followed by the rest of the classroom.
"SHUT UP!" Cheerilee screamed.
The whole class went silent
"Thank you... I come to work today with a headache so it would be much appreciated if you didn't explode my ear drums.." Cheerilee said, sighing and rubbing her head, before continuing, calling out the whole rest of the class until finally she got to the last name.
"Scootaloo" Cheerilee said, before looking around the room, and hearing a cricket chirp, she looked down at her desk and saw a cricket chirping.
"YOU SHUT UP TOO!" Cheerilee yelled at the cricket, her voice sending it off the desk, it didn't chirp after that, and Cheerilee began to mark Scootaloo's name as absent."
The door to the class then bursted open, it was Discord, wearing sunshades and a hat, carrying Scootaloo in his paw.
"She's here." Discord said.
"Oh Celestia not you again.." Cheerilee groaned.
"Oh don't be such a sour sap Cheerilee, you know you loved me being in your classroom." Discord grinned.
"If I was a Unicorn, I'd have taken my own horn off and stabbed myself with it the last time you were here." Cheerilee stated.
"Well... that's not very nice, and why would you hurt yourself over little old me?" Discord replied, chuckling.
"Just put her in her seat and go away." Cheerilee somewhat coldly stated.
"Well.. I guess someponies don't like good company these days.. hmmph. Here you go Scootaloo." Discord said, sitting the orange pegasus in her seat.
"Thanks..." Scootaloo said back to the draconequus.
"It is no problem, but I can see my welcome has been overstayed... ta-ta." Discord replied, before snapping his fingers and disappearing.
"Now then..." Cheerilee said, and class then started.
Several Hours Later
The bell for school to get out rung loudly, followed by Cheerilee nearly getting mowed over by stampeding fillies and colts before she could even assign homework or say anything really.
Back at the Farm
"Come on Sweetie we need to finish this project!" Applebloom whined.
"I know, I know, I'm trying!" Sweetie squeaked.
There was then a knock at the door
"Huh?" Applebloom wondered who it was, going to the door and opening it, the pony she saw she wasn't exactly thrilled to see.
"Hey..." Scootaloo said.
"Hi...." Applebloom said back.
"Can I come in?" Scootaloo asked.
"No." Applebloom replied.
"What? Why not? I thought we were--" Scootaloo was cut off before she could finish.
"Friends? Pretty sure you threw that away when you walked out on us, and ya punched my cousin." Applebloom said.
"No I didn't!" Scootaloo defensively answered.
"Then why does she have a black eye?" Applebloom questioned.
"How'd you know about the black eye?" Scootaloo answered with another question.
"Ah-ha! So it was you!" Applebloom said madly.
"N-no... wait Applebloom it wasn't.. I-It w-was--" Scootaloo was cut off by the door slamming her face and she sadly said to herself.
"I-It was Babs herself..." Scootaloo whimpered, tearing up a bit, before walking off the farm and looking back for a moment before turning back away.
"Rejected by my own best friends..." Scootaloo said, breaking into tears and running as far as she could, away from Ponyville, and away from everypony she ever knew.
Back in the Clubhouse
"Who was that?" Sweetie asked, she'd been busy focusing on the project so she really didn't hear the conversation.
"Nopony... ah just looked around for a bit, musta been the wind." Applebloom said, chuckling a bit awkwardly.
"But there's no wi-" Sweetie was cut off before she could even finish the word wind.
"It was the wind, ok?!" Applebloom aggressively shouted.
"O-O-Ok it was the wind..." Sweetie said, a bit scared of her friend.
"Let's just get this done alright?" Applebloom said.
The two continued on their project while Silver Spoon had gone back to plotting again while Scootaloo.. remains a mystery where she went, while Babs is just spending time relaxing with the bum eye she gave herself.
"We've been at this for hours, we're never gonna find her!" Sweetie whined.
"Ah don't even get why we're still looking..." Applebloom said, in a not too caring tone.
"Because Applebloom, there's no telling what Silver Spoon will do to Scootaloo if she finds her, or probably what Scootaloo will to do herself if she's alone for a long period of time." Diamond answered.
"Well.. ah suppose your right." Applebloom said.
"Applebloom, what's with you? Your acting like Scootaloo was never even your friend. Your being just like Silver Spoon!" Diamond said, trying to verbally smack Applebloom.
"Shut up, no ah'm not!" Applebloom yelled.
"You kinda are Applebloom..." Sweetie said.
"NO AH'M NOT!" Applebloom screamed.
"...." Sweetie didn't say anything.
"Listen to yourself. You're screaming at your friends, and acting like a pony you've known for a long time was never your friend. That's exactly what Silver Spoon did with me, so yes you are being like her." Diamond said sternly.
"...wow... im being a bully.." Applebloom quietly said.
"Each of us has experienced bullying on both sides before, or will in the future." Diamond told Applebloom.
"Really?" Applebloom asked.
"Yeah, look at me for example." Diamond said.
"uh... you sure you wanna bring that up?" Applebloom asked.
"No not really, forget that." Diamond said, laughing nervously.
"Alrighty then." Applebloom simply said.
"Um.. can we keep going now?" Sweetie spoke up.
"Right." Diamond simply said in approval, before beginning to walk again.
Applebloom and Sweetie Belle followed Diamond Tiara throughout the outskirts of Ponyville, and eventually ended up in Canterlot, where they searched road after road until they heard a voice behind them.
"What are you three doing here?" The voice said.
"Scootaloo?!" Applebloom said, turning around and seeing the orange pegasus, who's mane had grown out a bit, it hadn't looked like she'd cleaned much and didn't eat well either.
"Yeah, it's me. The one you basically kicked to the side like a piece of trash." Scootaloo coldly replied.
"Scootaloo ah didn't..." Applebloom started to say before she recieved a taste of her own medicine from that day, being cut off by Scootaloo.
"SHUT UP! I was ready to break down in tears when I was asking you to let me in! I know I messed up! But I wanted to fix that! Apparently you didn't! You slammed the door in my face and lied to Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo screamed, enraged.
"YOU WHAT?!" Sweetie Belle barked at Applebloom.
"I...I..." Applebloom failed to form even a fragment.
"I can't believe you! Why would you do that?! She's like us! We're all looking for our cutie marks! We're supposed to all be friends! I never forgot that even after Scootaloo left! I always knew she'd come back someday cause a real friend never loses hope!!!" Sweetie screamed.
"...." Applebloom was speechless.
"You know what, you can do that class project on your own, I quit! I'll be in my own group with Scootaloo because unlike SOMEPONY, I never forgot who my friend was!" Sweetie continued Screaming.
"......." Applebloom could say nothing.
"HMPH!" Sweetie ushered, before walking away, followed by Scootaloo glaring at Applebloom and then following Sweetie Belle.
Meanwhile Silver Spoon had followed them, she looked out from her hiding spot and whispered to her self.
"Cutie Mark Crusader Catastrophe... perfect." Silver said, grinning to herself before sneaking off.
Applebloom just sat there, unable to believe what just happened, mentally blaming herself for this.
"Applebloom..." Diamond said, worried.
"Just take me home..." Applebloom replied sadly.
"Alright..." Diamond said, she actually put Applebloom on her back and began to carry her home, thinking the filly would mistakenly bump into ponies because if she walked on her own, she'd probably have her head down the entire time.
Meanwhile
"Do you really think ah'm gonna trust you after what I've heard about you and your alliance with that no good filly Silver Spoon?" Applejack asked.
"Well.. heres the thing. She kinda had foalnapped Scootaloo.. wells I helped her, but I also set Scootaloo free. I need yous to talk to Applebloom when she's home. I heard that she had a big misunderstanding and thought that Scootaloo punched me, cause that's what I told Silver Spoon so she wouldn't knows that I let Scootaloo out. I actually punched myself." Babs replied.
"You...punched yourself? Well, honestly thats more believable, ya got a heck of a shiner, doubt a pegasus could do that, only good ole' earth pony strength coulda been behind that punch. Not that I'm saying Scootaloo's weak." Applejack stated.
"Whatevers.. just make sures to talk to her. I think Silver Spoon is up to's no good." Babs said.
"Alright.. Ah'll talk to her when she's home." Applejack replied.
"Thanks." Babs said.
"No Problem Babs. But if you somehow managed to pull the wool over my eyes and ah found out you are lying... yer gonna wish you weren't related to me at all." Applejack said, threatening tone.
"Uh... ok.. lets not get to fars out of hoof." Babs said a bit scared.
"Ah'm not... ah'm just warning ya what will happen if ah find out your a no good liar, and trust me you better pray to Celestia and Luna ah don't." Applejack replied.
"Uhhh..,,," Babs only managed to get out before she was interrupted.
Applebloom was sitting in her room. Diamond Tiara with her. Applebloom had stayed in her room since Diamond had gotten her home hours ago. She barely moved or budged, she only seemed to look down.
"Applebloom... you've been staring at the same spot for 2 hours now..." Diamond said, worriedly.
Applebloom didn't respond.
"Come on Applebloom... give me something... anything... I'm worried right now, and I know Applejack and Big Mac are." Diamond then said.
Applebloom still didn't respond.
"Please Applebloom... it's not healthy to stay this sad.. you gotta let it out... come on I'll give you a hug." Diamond said, climbing into the bed and hugging Applebloom.
"........." Applebloom still said nothing, but she did look at Diamond Tiara, the first time she'd moved her eyes in 2 hours.
"I know it sucks... but think of it this way. I was like you are right now at one point. What difficulties you get through only make you stronger, what difficulties you try to avoid, only keep bothering you until you give up." Diamond said.
"..............................." Applebloom had not said anything for 2 hours either.
"We can work on your project together." Diamond said, with a positive attitude.
"................." Applebloom seemed to still be speechless.
Diamond thought Applebloom wasn't going to respond once again, but was cut off mid sentence.
"Applebloom.. come on, this is really hard on me too yo-" Diamond was saying before the cut off.
"You just don't understand do you? The difference between you and me? Yeah there was a point you didn't have friends either. But it's because nopony liked you anyway. Me, ah just lost my best friends in Equestria. You have no idea how ah feel right now." Applebloom said, a bit harsh.
"Oh.... I... sorry Applebloom...." Diamond said, backing off a little.
"Ah drove my best friends away. Ah'm just as bad as Silver Spoon." Applebloom said, hitting her bed.
"You are nowhere near as bad as Silver Spoon!" Diamond said, seemingly offended that Applebloom would compare herself to that wretched silver filly.
"Ya sound offended like she's still yer friend or something." Applebloom said, looking at Diamond again.
"She's not my friend, but I am offended. I am offended you'd think she and you are alike. You are much better than her. She used her friends. Your friends were actual friends to you. Not puppets." Diamond stated sternly.
"Puppets...Actual Friends... does it make a difference either way when they're gone? Ah don't think so." Applebloom barked.
"Applebloom. Listen to what you are saying. This isn't you. I want the real you." Diamond forwardly stated.
"...Whatever." Applebloom said, blowing Diamond off almost.
"APPLEBLOOM!" Diamond yelled.
Applebloom flinched, not expecting Diamond to yell at her, she looked over at Diamond, a different look in her own eyes now.
"S-s-s-s-sorry....." Applebloom said, a bit quietly
"It's fine... but you really need to calm down.... It really sucks to see you like this, It's making me feel really bad." Diamond said, her voice softer than before now.
"But ah'm the one who lost her friends... how does that make you sad......" Applebloom wondered.
"Because you're sad." Diamond simply replied.
"Oh... ah guess that makes sense...." Applebloom said, sort of addressing Diamond Tiara but not really.
"Come on. We need to go eat. It's dinner time." Diamond told Applebloom.
"Ah'm not hungry...." Applebloom stated.
"Dangit Applebloom... please. As your friend, I'm asking you please. Maybe I don't understand completely, but you don't understand how this is effecting me...." Diamond replied.
"Have ya really changed all that much?" Applebloom asked.
"Wha... what do you mean?" Diamond answered with a question of her own, in a surprised tone.
"Almost everything ya have said is about you. You this, you that. It's like it's all about you, just like it was when ya were friends with Silver Spoon." Applebloom said a bit angrily.
"Sorry... I didn't mean to come off like that, I'm just so worried is all. I don't want you to let this dictate the rest of your life is all." Diamond replied.
"And how do you suppose ah go about making it not?" Applebloom asked, raising her eyebrow.
"First you need to get a hold of yourself. Moping and Complaining isn't going to do you any good. You have to get past this, then we'll find Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, and we will talk to them. I assure you that I will help you get your best friends back." Diamond stated.
"And just how are ya gonna do that?" Applebloom asked another question.
"By being here with you and monitoring your progress like a good friend, and like a good friend, I'm not going to tell you what you WANT to hear, I'm going to tell you what you NEED to hear. If some of it's harsh, I apologize, but life can be harsh, this is a good example of it with what you're going through right now, you're going through a really rough time, maybe the roughest time of your life right now, with your Granny and now all of this, it would make anypony cringe and feel like it's hopeless and not worth it, or can't do it, but I know that together we can get and will get through this, cause like the saying goes, Friendship is Magic." Diamond said, with a bit of a smile.
