Rainbow Dash is in love with Fluttershy, she has been ever since Fillyhood. When colts start poking fun at her, Dash gets furious, how far will she go to keep her love safe?
This is my very first FanFic, go easy on me! Chapter 1: Realization It was a sunny morning thanks to a cyan colored rainbow maned mare. Rainbow Dash just finished clearing the sky’s for a sunny day in Ponyville. “Well, that was an easy day..” She said to herself. She looked down and saw Fluttershy. She sighed, just last week Fluttershy went with her to the junior flyers competition. She cheered and yelled when Dash hit a sonic rainboom, it knocked something in Dash’s brain because now, she fell in love with the yellow mare. To no prevail, she’s still too scared to confess her feelings. “AH!” She yelled as she kicked a cloud in anger. ”Why can’t I just walk over there and say ‘Hey Fluttershy I love you, wanna make out?’ She knew that wouldn’t happen. “I should at least go talk to her” She flew down by her cottage and right away her wings were erect. “Damn wings” Dash muttered she flew away, “I can’t let Fluttershy see me with my wings sticking up! She blushed hard at the thought of Fluttershy seeing her like this, and flew away in embarrassment.
Chapter 2: Motivation The cyan Pegasus flew to rarity’s “Hey, I was wondering if you could help me with a problem…” Dash said, feeling sad and beaten by her thoughts. “Oh dear, it’s about Fluttershy isn’t it?” Rarity said handing Dash a cup of tea. “What?! How’d you know!” She said, almost dropping the cup of tea. “Oh Rainbow Dash, I see the way you look at her, the way your wings stick up when she’s with you, the others don’t seem to notice but I find it obvious.” Dash looked confused but reassured at the same time, for she had someone to come to about this. “So, how long have you been a Filly Fooler?” Rarity asked “At flight school” Dash replied. “The first time I saw Fluttershy, the way she was so scared of everything made her all the more adorable, I didn’t realize it then, but the idea was in my mind, then, just last week it hit me. I really was a Filly Fooler “ Dash took a sip of tea. “But I noticed your feelings for Fluttershy WAY before that, what about then?” Rarity said, her voice getting more and more confused “I already loved her, I just didn’t except the fact. Countless times I would spend thinking about it, then Fluttershy would appear in my mind as I thought, and as she cheered for me, it hit me. ------- Fluttershy was in her garden watering her plants “I’m so confused Angel!” Fluttershy squeaked “I-I don’t know why Rainbow Dash has been avoiding me! What-wh-What did I DO!” Fluttershy started crying “I thought we were friends… I went with her and cheered for her, oh for the love of celestia WHAT DID I DO!” Fluttershy woke up with a start “oh….oh my…that was horrible! I had a dream my best friend was avoiding me!” Fluttershy got out of bed did her daily chores and head out to where Dash was sleeping “Dash! Wake up!” She said softly Dash poked her head up and saw the yellow mare floating above Dash “um. Uh.. H….HI Fluttershy” Dash said nervously, trying to keep her wings low “Oh dear, is something wrong?” Fluttershy asked sincerely “Actually, Fluttershy… yes… there is something wrong.”
“Fluttershy, I….I……..I lo……..” “Dash, what is it?” Fluttershy said, getting worried “I LOVE YOU FLUTTERSHY! EVER SINCE YOU WERE A YOUNG FILLY IN CLOUDSDALE!” Fluttershy looked so confused and a little hurt “wh….wh….what? I… I…this is a cruel joke isn’t it?” Fluttershy said tears welling up in her eyes “Gilda set this up didn’t she! I’m not falling for it! This is just cruel dash… I thought we were friends…..” Fluttershy bursed into tears and raced away Dash just looked like her organs were torn out, and one of them were. “OH RARITY! SHE…SHE JUST--- SHE THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE! YEAH! A JOKE!” Dash just sobbed and sobbed “It’s Okay! Its okay she’s probably just confused.”-------- Fluttershy just sobbed in her bed, non- stop “she had to of been joking!” Fluttershy said in between sobs “nopony loves me…. Nopony” she said, then she cried herself to sleep. She woke up the next morning still solemn, she thought about Rainbow Dash, and how many things they’ve done together over the years “I…I do love her…” Fluttershy said, she sat up “I DO love her! But.. sh-she’ll never talk to me, not after I did that to her. NO! its time to pony up and DO THIS! She ran outside a rammed Dash on the way “D….Dash?” She said, “Hi Fluttershy… I just wanted to—“ she was cut off by Fluttershy’s lips meeting hers it lasted at least a minute, they finally pulled back “Fluttershy…” “shh…” Fluttershy said “I’m sorry, im so sorry Dash” they started kissing again this time they didn’t stop, It was continuous, after almost five minutes they were done “Fluttershy, I love you” Dash said nuzzling Fluttershy’s neck “I know” Fluttershy responded “you should stay the night.. if that’s okay…” Fluttershy said “I would….love that” Dash said they both snuggled close together and fell asleep.
Chapter 4: The Past Dash woke up next to Fluttershy (like always.) She went out to clear the weather when a group of colts approached them “What do YOU want” Dash said as intimidating as possible “Hey Rainbow CRASH heard you’re a Filly Fooler and you and Fluttershy are in a relationship! Who knew! Rainbow crash! a Filly Fooler! That’s just damn right hilarious” “I swear I will kill you” Dash said “Try me” the colt said. She did, she charged at the colt and knocked him out cold “Stupid prick” she spat at him, the other colts ran off and Dash tended to the weather. Later that day she went back to the cottage “Fluttershy I’m ho-“ Fluttershy was curled up in the corner sobbing “FLUTTERSHY!” Dash yelled “What happened!” “A….group of.. of…colts they were they were.. just so… so mean..” “Don’t worry, I took care of them, shhh…. Its okay ‘shy” Fluttershy smiled “You haven’t called me ‘Shy since flight school.” She said. “Yeah, I guess things are just reminding me of flight school…”------- -- Rainbow Dash was getting ready for her race, “Lets see.. goggles, check wings, duh.. check” she went out to the racing field but saw a group of three or four colts standing around Fluttershy. “HEY! Get the HELL! Away from her.” Rainbow Dash said as she charged the colts they all (knowing Dash’s strength) ran off in fear, “T—th—thank you Dash” Fluttershy said “Anytime ‘Shy I gotta go though, see ya around?” “yeah, b-bye” Dash flew away trying to resist two things one: Her wings sticking up and Two: Trying to hold back a blush, she failed “Was Dash….blushing?” Fluttershy thought, she flew towards Dash’s race before anyone else bullied her.-------- “they were the colts from flight school, remember?” Fluttershy said between sobs “yeah, I was almost glad they did that” Dash said “w-why?” Fluttershy whimpered trying to hold back more tears “ ‘cause I got to save you of course” she said and she lovingly kissed her. “Thanks Dash” Fluttershy said whipping tears with her hoof then, a thought struck Dash’s mind, “we haven’t told the others yet…” Fluttershy looked really worried now “oh no! w-what are we gonna do!” Dash pated her shoulder. “we just need to tell them, they’ll understand.” So the two lovers set out for there friends to tell them the truth about there feelings.
Chapter 5: confrontation “Thank you all for coming” Rainbow dash said to her 5 friends “we have something important to tell you all.” She gulped hard “me and Fluttershy are….. w…..we’re in love.” Everyone looked merely shocked, Rarity was the first to talk “I already knew that… but I’m still happy for you two” Then Applejack chimed in. “We’re all happy for y’all, ah mean, true love can’t be stopped anyhow…” Pinkie started bouncing “OHHH WE CAN HAVE A PARTY FOR YOU LOVE BIRDS!!!!” her excitement irritated Dash “Pinkie… I’m sorry but we don’t really want a huge party announcing our relationship, we want to keep it mostly to all of us, just for now please?” “oh.. okay I understand.” “Thanks Pinkie” Fluttershy said “So?” Rarity said at once “Kiss her already!” “Oh what are you a perv-“ Fluttershy pulled Dash in and kissed her passionately she pulled away and Dash’s wings started to grow she blushed “we should go…” Fluttershy said and hand in hand FlutterDash flew away. One they got back to Fluttershy’s cottage Dash passed out on the couch. “Oh Dash, you silly filly” Fluttershy said then began work on dinner. Dash woke up to the smell of food “Wake up sleepy head, dinners ready” “Oh Fluttershy you shouldn’t of done this!” Dash said taking a bite of her hay and tomato sandwhich Later that night
They both got in bed a huddled close together “Dash, I was wondering… how did those colts find us here?” “I don’t know, but as long as we have each other I think we’ll be okay” with that they fell asleep. The next morning Dash woke up and looked next to her, Fluttershy was gone! Dash bolted out of bed and in the living room there was a note on the ground it read: You want your marefriend back? Come to your house. Dash raced over to her cloud house and bursed through the doors, Fluttershy was in the corner, sobbing, a bunch of dead bunnies sitting around her. Then she saw the colt from before staring at Dash a smirk came over his face. “So you do love her now don’t you?” He said Dash then noticed a chain on Fluttershy’s hind leg she was chained to the ground! “I told you, DON’T. MESS. WITH. ME!” Dash yelled “What did I say yesterday? I swear, I’ll. Kill. You” That’s when Dash knocked him out and started vigorously kicking the crap out of his head then she delivered the final blow to his forehead. He was bleeding, a lot… but she didn’t care she ran over to Fluttershy “Oh, celestia what did they do to you” Dash said as she started working on the chain Fluttershy was still sobbing. “They… they tried to do d.. d.. really d-dirty things to me! I didn’t let them I kicked them all away, then he got a bunch of bunnies and killed them all in front of me! Oh it was so horrible!” Fluttershy wept “shh… it’s okay, I’m here now… your safe I swore to celestia I would do anything and everything to keep you safe, and I will, trust me on that okay?” Dash got the chain off Fluttershy’s leg “is he…..dead?” Fluttershy asked looking at the bloody headed colt “I hope so, now lets get out of here, wait…Dash went got a bag and packed some things then she came back, “now lets go” they went back to Fluttershy’s cottage Fluttershy went to her bed, Dash followed “I promise, nothing and nopony will ever hurt you.” Dash said reassuringly as Fluttershy got close to Dash “Wh-why would they do this to me? I just don’t understand!” “Shh.. don’t worry about it ‘shy, your safe now, that’s all that matters.” “Dashie” Fluttershy said “yes?” “What made you fall for me?” Dash looked at her and smiled “Your beauty, both inside and out, plus, your shyness makes you extremely adorable, the question should be, what DIDN’T make you fall for me.” “Dash” Fluttershy said getting closer than ever to dash “I love you” then she started kissing her, but there was more this time, Fluttershy slipped at the tongue, they lied down next to each other they looked into each other’s eyes and Dash said “I love you too”
Chapter 6:Dreams Fluttershy woke up, in a basement “NO!” she thought “THIS CANT HAPPEN” she looked around and saw Dash “Dash? What’s happening?” Fluttershy said, Dash just stared, then she walked away “Dash? DASH! Where are you going? Dash! DASH! DASH!!!!!!! RAINBOW DASH!!!” Fluttershy woke up Rainbow Dash was sleeping next to her “oh thank Celestia…” Fluttershy thought she lied down and went back to sleep. Rainbow Dash woke up in a field Fluttershy was with that colt “no… GET AWAY FROM HER! I WILL KILL YOU!” She yelled as she charged for him. There was some sort of force field around them because Dash couldn’t help at all “Dashie! HELP!” Fluttershy yelled, the colt slapped her and she fell to the ground and the colt started taking her cloth’s off. “no.. NO NO! NO!!!!” Dash yelled she couldn’t watch but its like her eyes were glued to the scene, Fluttershy was passed out and the colt was taking advantage of her and there was nothing she could do, then, voices of Fluttershy went through her head, “I thought you were gonna keep me safe Dashie?” and “why are you letting him do this Dash!” suddenly she woke up from her nightmare “oh… celestia…” Rainbow Dash said aloud Fluttershy woke up. “Morning Dash, did you sleep well?” she said in her regular, quiet voice “n…no I had a bad dream, that’s all… im sorry I woke you Fluttershy… she kissed her and lied back down. “Do you want to talk about it?” Fluttershy asked “yeah… I’d like that” so she told her about the crazy colt and Fluttershy told her about the room and Dash walking away Dash sighed, “With all these bad dreams at least one good dream came true” She blushed and kissed Fluttershy “What time is it?” Fluttershy asked, she looked at the clock and it was half past six o’clock. “sheesh” dash said “Still early, what now?” Fluttershy smiled, and she started kissing Dash [she does that a lot] “ ‘shy, you have always been so loving , so caring to everypony, how do you not get mad?” Dash asked “oh, I’ve gotten mad before” Fluttershy said, thinking about when she got so mad a rarity and pinkie pie back when she went to Iron Wills training sessions, and she remembered the Gala… oh the Gala…. She fell asleep thinking about it, and finally her dreams were good. She was dreaming of her and Dash sitting on a cloud watching the stars, she looked at Dash and she smiled a big, loving smile, celestia, she’s never been so madly in love. Rainbow Dash woke up and looked at the clock, it was 11:00 pm “OH CELESTIA IM LATE!” Dash yelled as she flew out side “If I’m late I’ll get FIRED!” She said aloud, she was flying as fast as she could, she could feel the wind in her face, then she thought of Fluttershy, she sighed and kept flying, she rammed into the mail carrier Derpy Hooves “oh Derpy I’m SOO sorry, I’m in a hurry to get to ponyville Derpy got up and grabbed her mail. “That’s okay rraainbow Dash! Here, take this.” She handed Rainbow Dash a blueberry muffin “Thanks Derpy!” Dash said. “Ss..o” Derpy said “How are you and Fluttershy?” “WHAT!, you know! H…how!” Dash said, she thought it could have been Pinkie… “Everyone in Ponyville knows! And everyone’s super duper happy for you two!” Derpy said, her eyes were crossing, as usual “Thanks for the muffin Derpy.. but I gotta go!” Dash raced to the town of Ponyville, Fluttershy didn’t live far from there, the clouds were surrounding the town “Dammit!” Dash murmured, then she remembered what she told Twilight when she first came , the words echoed in her head “ten seconds flat” she cracked her neck stretched her wings and flew up to every cloud and knocked them all away, “1 minute” Dash told herself “meh.. it’s okay I guess…” then she flew back to Fluttershys’ cottage “DAASHHH!” she heard from inside, Dash ran inside and the colt was back, his head bandaged, his eyes flaming with fury Fluttershy was tied to her bed, naked. “DASH! HELP ME PLEASE!” Fluttershy wailed “Hm.. your Marefriend here has quite the body.. mind if I-“ he walked over to her “GOD GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!” Rainbow Dash was in the most fiery inferno of anger, she grabbed a knife off the kitchen table and charged at the colt, she stabbed him in the hoof, chest, and neck, he fell to the ground dead, at last Fluttershy was hyperventilating “Dash, he…h…he ….he was going to rape me Dash! Oh my celestia I’ve never been so scared in my whole life!” Dash untied her and sat next to her “Fluttershy… I shouldn’t have left this morning, I should have stayed” Dash began to cry “This was all my fault!” She began to weap Fluttershy started making out with Dash they both blushed harder than ever, mostly because Fluttershy was still naked, her wings sticking up, all her feathers as well. They lay down “Dash….” Fluttershy said, still blushing “Yes?” Dash said “I….. I’m still naked..” “I know that” Dash replied
The next morning Fluttershy was the first to wake up, she remembered what today was “The Galloping GALA!” Fluttershy said aloud, surprisingly this woke Dash. “What? Oh man what a night…” Dash said, she was still satisfied from last nights events. Fluttershy put her cloths back on and reminded Dash about the Gala tonight. “Oh boy! I’m SOOO excited for the Gala!” Dash said “Wait… we need to get dresses! C’mon! ‘Shy!!” they left the house and started for Rarity’s house, she was a dress designer and would be more than happy to make them dresses “let’s try to stick together this year.” Dash said to Fluttershy as they walked towards Rarity’s house. I hated being away from everyone, especially you, I never really got to see how beautiful you looked” Fluttershy giggled “okay, lets stay together this year” as they approached there friends house they kissed for a short time and walked In “Rarity? I was wondering if you could make us some dresses for the Gala.” Fluttershy asked “Oh of COURSE! I’ve already made dresses for all of us! Here go try them on!” She threw the Mane six there dresses and everyone went in the changing room after much fiddling around everypony came out and in there dresses, Dash saw Fluttershy and just stared… “w..ww.wow ‘Shy….” Dash said to her, stunned Fluttershy was equally as stunned “Dash you look beautiful” they both smiled at each other. LATER THAT NIGHT “Everypony ready to go?” Applejack said “You bet your apple orchard” Dash said, she got into their carriage and Fluttershy sat next to her, “this is going to be an amazing night… I can feel it” Dash said, she nuzzled Fluttershy as they set off for Canterlot. On their arrival, they were greeted by princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Twilight was the first to speak “Hello Princess Celestia! Thank you so much for inviting us” “you’re welcome my faithful student, now come inside all of you. The night has just begun.” Dash and Fluttershy smiled at each other as they walked inside, who knew what would happen tonight?
“Fluttershy I have to tell you something” Dash said to when they were alone. “I dropped out of flight school because when you left, I couldn’t stand being there, so I left. Made my house specifically closer to yours and that was that.” Fluttershy looked up and smiled “I feel bad for not loving you sooner.” Fluttershy said, she was getting a little teary eyed “well we’re together now and that’s all that counts right?” Dash said hugging Fluttershy close “yeah… lets-l-lets go back to the party” Fluttershy said, almost as shy as before they were in a relationship. “Is something wrong?” Dash said “n..no, I’ve got a lot on my mind.” Fluttershy was getting more and more nervous “do you want to talk about it?” Dash asked reassuringly “n..no, it’s nothing important” she was able to smile and kiss Dash then they both walked towards the party “I love you” Fluttershy said “I love you too” Dash replied. As they walked many thoughts raced through their heads. “ ‘Shy remember when you told that dragon to sleep somewhere else but you were too scared to even move? I was being rude to you that day. I guess it was denial, but the way you were so scared made you seem cuter than ever before, back then I knew I loved you, I just didn’t accept it, and I’m glad I did” they got back to the ballroom where everyone was, then, Fluttershy stopped the music “uumm…i.. have…to say….um…s-something” she bent down on one knee, pulled out a little black box, which contained a ring. “R..Rainbow Dash…will you….m….m….merry me?” Dash just stared at her… she burst into tears and hugged Fluttershy “YES! YES OF COURSE!!!” everypony there looked at them and smiled, especially there friends “this really is the best night ever” Dash said, still crying “and we spent it together, like the rest of our lives” Fluttershy said, now she was crying. They played a nice, slow song for the two lovers and they danced and laughed and had a great time, and as the night came to an end they finally met up with the other four “That was the best night ever” Pinkie Pie said, they all enjoyed the rest of the night together. 2 WEEKS LATER Fluttershy walked down the alter, looking directly at her love, Rainbow Dash, they were wearing the same dresses they wore at the Gala. Twilight looked at both of them, Fluttershy said I, Fluttershy, take you, Rainbow Dash, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. Twilight looked to Rainbow Dash who said the same thing, “I now pronounce you Mare, and Mare. You may now, kiss the bride. They kissed passionately and hugged each other “I love you, Dashie” Fluttershy said “YAAAYYY!!!” Pinkie Pie yelled “LETS GET SOME CAKE!” They cut the cake, [and gave Pinkie Pie the largest of the pieces] and then they danced, Fluttershy tossed the bouquet behind her back, and Derpy caught it “Woohhooo!” she yelled “I take it back” Dash said “THIS, is the best night ever” as they danced and had fun Fluttershy and Dash remembered the hardships it took to get this far, like the colt, and how they fell in love in the first place, it was all good now, everyone was happy, as the night came to a close, Fluttershy was nuzzling Dash’s neck, they remembered flight school, the junior flyers competition, and most importantly the day Fluttershy rammed Dash, on her way to confess her feelings, and that was what brought them this far and they shared it with all their friends and family but the best part was, the fun had just began.
