Then she heard a groaning noise from behind a treeline a short distance away.She ran as fast as she could, was somepony hurt?

She was running as fast as she could, the groaning noise had ceased, instead there was a hissing sound and the smell of burning wires was invading her nostrils, but she had no time to complain about that, she had to find out what this flurry of noises and smells was all about.
She followed the sounds until she came up to this smoking blue box with some writing on it, she tried opening the door but it was locked.
"is anypony there and if so are you okay?,"said Luna.
"umm..yea I'm quite all right, uhhh stay were you are I'll be out in a- jiffy," said the mysterious pony.
"just how long is a jiffy?" exclaimed Luna
"ahh well you know its kind of arbitrary numbers and all that nonsense but any-who,here I come," said the mysterious pony and to Luna's surprise the door flung open revealing the mysterious pony in the box. "ello I'm the Doctor and who might you b,e"said the Doctor.
"Well I'm Luna a-and a Doctor of what field exactly, and whats with the box, usually a doctor's office is more like a building or a house or even a tent...," said Luna.
"no,no,no,no,no, not a doctor.....The... Doctor and to answer your question about my box my answer would have to be that its bigger on the inside and she prefers it when you call her TARDIS," said the Doctor.
"umm she??,"said Luna.
"yes you heard me correctly ...she," exclaimed The Doctor.
"umm well okay I'll just be going then," said Luna anxiously.
"Well aren't you atleast going to show me around, I mean its the least you can do after you insulted the TARDIS and questioned my authority... were are we anyway?," asked The Doctor.
"well Equestria ..obviously, Canterlot to be exact," said Luna.
"ahh yes Canterlot I haven't had the chance to come here yet, shall we get going?," said The Doctor.
"*sigh* might as well," said Luna.
*a few hours later*.
"...and here is the castle my home," said Luna "just glad this is finally over,"she thought to herself.
"so you're royalty, then?," said The Doctor.
"well.....l yes I thought everypony knew that,"Luna said rather embarrassed.
"well see I'm hardly ever in Equestria, I guess you can say I travel a lot," The Doctor said.
"oh well then I'm glad you chose to visit, have you enjoyed your stay so far?," Luna said.
"why yes I have and I'd like to return the favor .. how about I give you a tour of my box?," said the Doctor.
"well i dunno its kind of early and my sister will be awake soon....," said Luna .
"ahhh come on it'll be fun, I have Doritos," said the Doctor.In fact Luna was quite hungry and ready to really find out just who this mysterious pony was.
"yes," she said and they were off on their way to the TARDIS or the mysterious blue box as Luna liked to call it.
When they finally reached the TARDIS, the Doctor opened the door for Luna and she was astounded by what she found inside, from the out side it was a small blue box but, on the inside it was like a large dome of metal and glass, her jaw dropped and she couldn't speak. "well...what do you think?," the doctor said.
"uh.....um....eh....its....well, ...AWESOME!!!!!!...how did you do this, is this some kind of magic,"said Luna while inpsecting the Doctor for a horn ,"what....you don't have a horn? then how the hay are you doing this?!?!," said Luna
"well i kind of have something to tell you.....hmmmm ...how should I put this ....I'm an alien from another galaxy I'm 952 years old, and well this is my spacecraft, i call it the TARDIS but that is just an acronym its real name is time and relative dimension in space,and she is the sports car of time traveling......did you catch all that?," said the Doctor .
"uhh yes but I don't believe you," said Luna.
"well, I assume your looking for proof then?," said the Doctor,
"yea, yea i guess I am,"said Luna.
"alright-y then *flips levers and turns knobs* allons-yyyyy," said the Doctor.
Suddenly the TARDIS came to life whizzing and whirring, sputtering and groaning. Then suddenly it started shaking and it almost knocked Luna over, "sorry about that Luna shes still getting used to you I guess hehe," said the Doctor.
"why do you keep refer to the TARDIS as a she," said Luna.
"ahhh never mind that we've arrived!,"said The Doctor.
"arrived where exactly?,"questioned Luna.
"well look outside the door and find out," said the Doctor with a giant grin on his face, Luna smiled she felt rather certain that she had not even left the ground, let alone the plan.
"alright-y then," Luna said.
When Luna opened the door a look of total fear came to her face, he had taken her......to the MOON, not only was she astonished that the Doctor wasn't lying she was also washed into a wave of bad memories from her time of imprisonment there, she slammed the door and ran into a corner crying "take me home, take me home, TAKE ME HOME!!!!!!!," yelled Luna.
"uhh well ok it's kind of soon but anyway whats wrong with you?,"The Doctor said as he started flipping some levers.
"that place, that hell hole of coldness and despair was my prison for a thousand years," Luna said.
"what ever did you do to get yourself in trouble...i mean you dont seem like a criminal, what with you being royalty and all but I mean I guess ya never know.....," said The Doctor but he was cut off by Luna.
"I attempted to overthrow my sister and start an eternal night for my subjects and I failed," Luna said.
"oh wow....uh I'm sorry I'm always picking the most dangerous places to go or well the TARDIS is I just kind of let her know that I'm ready to go hehe"said The Doctor, suddenly more of those same noises from earlier came back "well i guess that means were here" said the Doctor "well its been great we should do this again sometime," The Doctor added.
"yes, yes we should , well byeeeee" luna said as she walked out of the door realising it was day time "oh celestia its daytime I've got to get home doctor, I'm late," Luna said.
"run along now don't let me keep you," said the Doctor.
And with that the first night was over and everything returned to the same but not for long..........
About a month had past since Luna had seen the Doctor,in fact she kind of missed him, even though they had only talked one night,for a few hours, he was so mysterious, that pony,too mysterious.
It was night now and Luna was out doing the usual walking around, poking her hoof in the ground, or just laying there full of boredom.So bored in fact that she was almost asleep, and then she heard the knocking and little did she know that knocking would change her whole life forever."Who is it?," called out Luna.
"uuhh hey Luna its me the Doctor may I come in I'm kind of being chased right now?," said the Doctor.
"chased by who!?!," said Luna.
"not who, but what, but nevermind that old girl just please open the door and HURRY!!!," exclaimed the Doctor.
Luna them immediately ran to the door and let the Doctor in, but what she saw coming behind him was the grossest thing she had ever seen "Doctor, what was that!?!?!," asked Luna.
"working on that!!!," said the Doctor. ,
"Doctor,is there anything I may do to help?," asked Luna.
"yea, just help me climb down this balcony so I can get to my TARDIS and make my.........," said the Doctor.
"Doctor, sorry to interrupt you but i have wings, see," said Luna.
"oh......right uhh.....hurry it up I dont have all day," said the Doctor.
"Calm down boy, remember who your talking to," said Luna.
"Did you see what was chasing me I have every right to talk how I want!!!," said the Doctor.
"just remember who your talking to, im the royalty here remember," said Luna.
"pssh, yea whatever," said the Doctor.
"What was that?," said Luna.
"oh... nothing allons-yy," said the Doctor
With that Luna flew the Doctor to were the TARDIS was."Doctor, why did we come here exactly?,"said Luna.
"well i need my sonic screwdriver if I'm going to defeat that big ugly thing," said the Doctor.
"uhh sonic what now?," asked Luna.
"sonic screwdriver........ahh here it is," said the Doctor finding and picking up the sonic screwdriver."see,".
"and what does this contraption do hmm?," said Luna.
"well it does a number of things actually, kind of to many to explain though, but I'll show you in due time," said the Doctor.
"Well what do we do now," said Luna.
"well, I'm going to try to go back in time and stop that, thing , whatever it is," said the Doctor.
"excuse me, did you say BACK IN TIME!?," asked Luna rather loudly.
"Geez stop yelling, but to answer your question, the TARDIS doens't just travel in space, it also travels in time, didnt i tell you that, i believe i did, you know the whole 'sports car of time travel' bit," said the Doctor.
"yea i remember that, but if you remember i said 'i dont believe you'," said Luna.
"oh, yea you said you were looking for evidence, and we havent time traveled yet hmmmmm well lets go now," said the Doctor while starting to pull some levers.
The TARDIS came back to life whizzing and whirring.
"Do you think the TARDIS is used to me yet?," asked Luna.
"well you aren't being thrown around are you? hahahahahahah,"said the Doctor.
"well , yea i geuss not hehe," said Luna.
"ok here we are, lets go Luna," said the Doctor.
"ok, Doctor," said Luna.
The two ponies ran out Luna behind the Doctor following him trying to keep up the Doctor immediatly ran into an alleyway and there it was that "thing"." ok Luna there it is keep quiet im going to try to sneak up on it," said the Doctor.
"ok, be careful," said Luna.The Doctor slowly crept up on the creatue trying not to startle it.He pointed his sonic srewdriver at it and switched it on and it made a wasp like noise.The creature heard it and turned around.
"eeerr jammit, i thought i had it on silent, run Luna rruunnnn!!!," said The Doctor.
"ok Doctor grab on to my hand,"said Luna.
"what why would i do that?," said the Doctor.
"i can fly, remember?," said Luna.
"oh yea hehe," said the Doctor.The Doctor grabbed on to Lunas hand, and she flew them up to the nearest building.
"any ideas Doctor," said Luna.
"no, i was hoping you had one hmmm," said the Doctor.
"well actually i do have one , i could try shooting it with some magic," said Luna.
"well why not go on give a shot," said the Doctor.Suddenly Luna stood up and her horn lit up with a dark blue aura and she shot at the monster with a big blue lazer like beam and it was a direct hit!! the monster snarled and splattered in to bits."Luna that was amazing why didnt you try that when you first saw it," said the Doctor.
"well i dont like hurting things it creeps me out and how did we know that thing was really dangerous?,"asked Luna.
"Luna you'll have to understand in my line of work that most of things i encounter will try to harm anything they come across," said the Doctor.
"what exactly is your line of work hmmm?," said Luna.
"well i travel around around time ans space fixing anything wrong or bad in any timeline, would you like to see what would happen if we let that thing live live?, said the Doctor.
"sure why not," said Luna kind of angrily.They ran to the TARDIS and the Doctor immediatly turned it on and they went back in time and then the Doctor ran out.
"ill be right back Luna," said the Doctor.
"wait were are you going," asked Luna.The Doctor gave no reply just shut the door and left Luna there all alone wondering were he went.
Thirty minutes later the Doctor returned "hey Luna," the Doctor said while chuckling.
"and were have you been?,"asked Luna.
"well i had to change the timeline didn't i hahha you're the one who wanted to see the future right?," said the Doctor.
"dont you patronize me doctor," said Luna.
"aww calm down mrs. princess we have a future to see don't we hehe," said the Doctor.
"err just get on with it," said Luna. The Doctor flipped on the TARDIS and they traveled to the future.
"weve arrived Luna go on open the door ive given you a birds eye view," said the Doctor.Luna opened the door and was shocked by what she saw her entire kingdom was burning her and her sister were locked in cages and being tortured in the middle of the street all the ponies were dead, being burned in piles.The Doctor walked over beside her."see now do you understand why my job is so important if me and you hadnt stopped that you would have been tortured alongside your sister, all your friends would have been dead," said the Doctor.
"oh celestia, thank you Doctor but please dont show me any more just ....take me back," said Luna, Crying.
"ok but please dont question my methods." said the Doctor while flipping the switches to turn on the TARDIS." ok were back Luna youre free to leave if you want," said the Doctor.
"o...ok ill be leaving now," said Luna drying her tears. She opened the doors and walked out she walked a few more steps and turned back looking at he TARDIS questioning if she should go back, then suddenly the door opened and out stepped out the Doctor.
"oh hey Luna you're still here...umm" said the Doctor. Then Luna ran up to the Doctor.
"um doctor ..well i would like to travel with you some more," said Luna.
"well uhh arent you royalty here dont you have a job to do and what about your sister?," asked the Doctor.
"uhh Doctor you're forgetting something, you have a time machine if we time it right with the TARDIS i wont be missed at all will I?," said Luna.
"well I geuss you're right haha lets go," said the Doctor.
"were to?," asked Luna.
"thats a suprise hehe," said the Doctor.
With that the two ponies set out, excited about were there adventures may take them.
