Discord's now reformed. What now? Will he never be able to make any chaos again? Probably not, but someone else will. That someone else is Pinkie Pie.
Being reformed has it's downs, one of them being: no fun, and that's exactly what Discord was thinking. He'll never have fun again! Causing chaos for those little ponies in Ponyville will never be the same; mainly because he can't do it anymore. But what if he doesn't have to do it? What if someone else will do it without even knowing what they're doing? Discord immediately thought of an idea, and it involves a certain pink & hyper pony.
Discord watched as ponies played, sang and danced. While they were having a blast, he miserable. He often thought of the joy of causing mayhem around Ponyville before he was reformed, and right after he would then think about how he couldn't do that anymore. He would sometimes play harmless little pranks on the ponies, but that doesn't hold a candle to true chaotic chaos. As Discord continued to sadly stroll around Ponyville, he heard ear piercing shrieks and snorts of laughter. He looked over and noticed it was from Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie was playing with a bouncy ball right outside Sugercube Corner.
"It sure has been a while since I saw the only pony that's almost as crazy as me", Discord thought while watching Pinkie Pie play with her bouncy ball. "Heck, if she had my immensely chaotic powers, she could make the most chaotic of chaos; almost as good as me." Discord thought. About 5 seconds after a short pause, Discord's jaw dropped. "THAT'S IT!" Discord yelled aloud.
Everypony turned and stared.
"What? you never heard a draconequus talking to himself before? Sheesh, talk about impolite ponies." Discord said, as he then continued thinking to himself. "I can temporarily grant Pinkie Pie powers, and knowing her, she'll turn Ponyville into her own playground with them! Ohohoho, it'll be the perfect plan! Or should I say, a chaotic plan?" Discord thought with a rising smirk on his face.
"Heehee!" Pinkie laughed as she threw the ball so high that it almost reached the top of Sugercube Corner. Pinkie Pie watched as the ball fell down closer and closer. Just when she was about to bounce it up higher like a volleyball, the ball suddenly grew enormously big and popped, revealing Discord.
"Supriiiiiise!" Discord screamed.
"A surprise- as in a surprise party?! FOR ME?!" Pinkie grew eager.
"Eh... no. But I do have a surprise gift for you!" Discord said.
"Reaaaaally? Where is it- I love getting gifts!" Pinkie Pie is friends with Discord, she befriended him after watching him get reformed; although, not as much as Fluttershy befriended him, they're practically best friends!
"Your gift is riiiiiight... here!" Discord said while touching Pinkie's forehead. When he lifted his hand, there it was. A unicorn horn.
Pinkie gasped, not knowing what to say (for the first time).
"And this is just the half of it!" Discord excitedly pointed out. "Look behind you!" Discord pointed at Pinkie Pie's back.
When Pinkie looked, she saw two big wings on top of her back. Pinkie gasped even louder this time. "OH MY GOSH- waaaaait a second, is there a catch? I know you're reformed and all, but this gift seems awfully generous" Pinkie said, as her gigantic smile faded.
"Exactly! I am reformed now, so can't a good friend like me be a little generous now and then?" Discord innocently said.
Pinkie Pie continued to ask a lot of questions. After what felt like an eternity of questions and answers, Pinkie finally stopped interrogating and accepted the "gift". "Okie-Doki-Lokie!" Pinkie happily said.
"Phew, glad that's over." Discord thought with relief. "Now go, you're an Alicorn now! Think of the possibilities! Ponyville is your new playground, Pinkie Pie. So go celebrate and play!" Discord said.
"Sweet Celestia! This is going to be so fun! Heehee, I can do anything now! BEST. GIFT. EVEEEEEEER!" Pinkie exclaimed, while her horn was starting to glow with a magical blue aura.
"But remember, this gift is a surprise, so don't tell anyone it was from me, okay?" Discord said, while summoning popcorn in his hand.
"Heehee! Of course!" Pinkie said, although she wasn't paying attention to what he was saying from that point on. All she was thinking about is the endless possibilities with her new magic!
"Toodaloo, Pinkie, I'll let you have your fun." Discord said.
Pinkie Pie was so excited that she didn't even respond, she only runs off in the blink of an eye.
"This is going to be good!" Discord eagerly thought, ignoring the tiny speck of guilt he has for doing this to his new little pony friends.
"What should I do first?" Pinkie thought. "Oh, I know!" Pinkie's horn created a blue aura as she summoned a small bouncy ball. Right before Pinkie was about to play with it, she got an even better idea. As her horn turned blue, the bouncy ball grew, and grew, and grew until it was the size of an actual pony! Pinkie jumped onto it and clung as she used her wings to bounce as high as she could.
"How is she capable of using her wings 5 minutes after she just got them?!" Discord thought while eating his popcorn.
"Woohoo! This is so much fun!" Pinkie yelled while bouncing all over Ponyville.
All the other ponies didn't believe what they saw; they were speechless! Pinkie looked down at the shocked ponies.
"You ponies look like you could use a... SMILE!" Pinkie yelled as she summoned confetti to rain down on the ponies.
Discord couldn't help but chuckle as he continued eating his popcorn while sitting on a tree.
Pinkie finally jumped off the ball while she was still in the air. As she fell toward a tree, she quickly turned the tree into tiny marshmallows for a soft landing.
"Pinkie Pie sure is making a mess..." Discord said to himself out of his guilt. "It doesn't m-matter! This is the most entertaining chaos I've seen all year!" Discord ignored the guilt and ate more of his popcorn.
"P-Pinkie?!" Twilight Sparkle said as she saw what happened and ran over.
"Twilight! You will never believe what happened! Try to guess!" Pinkie happily said.
"You're an Alicorn..." Twilight said as her concern faded.
"Yessirey! You bet I am! I never knew that having a horn and wings can be so much fun! And Twilight, you sure make being an Alicorn look boring." Pinkie said.
"B-but, HOW are you an Alicorn, what happened? This is completely chao- DISCORD! It was Discord wasn't it?!" Twilight said with obvious rage in her eyes.
"Yup, it was Discord! But I'm not supposed to tell you; this gift is a surprise... WHOOPS!" Pinkie said after realizing she told Twilight what she wasn't supposed to tell her.
"DISCOOOOOORD!" Twilight yelled. Twilight spotted Discord sitting in a near by tree eating popcorn. Twilight quickly teleported to that very tree. "YOU'RE THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDE-" Twilight was suddenly interrupted by a cupcake that fell on her head.
Discord burst out laughing.
Suddenly, cupcakes were raining everywhere. Pinkie Pie summoned clouds that were raining cupcakes.
Twilight stared at Discord.
Discord stopped laughing and sighed. "I knew this was all a mistake..." Discord thought. "Pinkie Pie... stop!" Discord said.
"Huh?" Pinkie was confused as she looked over to Discord.
Discord walked over to her and snapped his fingers, and soon everything Pinkie did with her magic disappeared along with her horn and wings.
"Awww! But atleast it was fun while it lasted. Thanks for the gift, Discord!" Pinkie Pie said, smiling.
"... no. It wasn't a gift, Pinkie." Discord explained his entire plan to Pinkie Pie, who's smile was slowly fading away.
"So... you're not really my friend? That gift was all a part of your plan...?" A tear was forming in Pinkie Pie's eye.
Discord picked up Pinkie and hugged her. "No, you are my friend Pinkie Pie. I never realized how important friends are to someone. While you were out causing chaos, I would normally be enjoying the entire thing, but I was feeling... guilty. Because I realized I was doing this to a friend, Pinkie Pie." This time, a tear was forming in Discord's eye.
"Awwwwww!" Pinkie Pie said as she squeezed Discord.
Twilight Sparkle slowly walked over to Discord. "It looks you could write a letter to Princess Celestia this time, Discord." Twilight Sparkle said with a smile.
"You know what, Twilight? I think I will..." Discord snapped his fingers and a peice of paper appeared in front of him. "Dear Princess Celestia..."
