Everything Dies

Everything dies, even you even I

Even you, Even I. On paper it is written, on clocks it is timed.

(A random bunch of rhymes.)

(It's sorta random, sorta not, makes little sense.)

When the Magic is gone.

View Online

When the magic is gone,
Everything feels so wrong,
The nights grow so long.

Lullabies unsung,
Notes don't belong,
To their own song.

Nothing's right,
Friends fight,
Bonds once tight,
Now lay smite.

Magic has died,
Many have cried,
None got to say goodbye.

Close our eyes,
To see the light,
Only to find,
We've been blind.

When the magic is gone,
Everything is wrong.

Discord rules,
Ponies drool,
Celestia's the fool,
Luna's the tool,
Life's so cruel.

When the magic is gone,
The Sparkle says so long.
An everlasting Twilight,
Has disappeared into night.

Beautiful flowers,
Contain no power,
Aromas are missing,
Colors are fading.

When the magic is gone,
Life' becomes dull.
Ponies turned to drolls.

The magic is gone.
We are none.

What a hollowness we've become,
Now that the magic is gone.

What happens when the magic is gone?

The Laughter fades

View Online

The laughter fades,
Smiles drift into shades,
Comic relief,
Is now so brief.

Laughter no longer bounds,
No more happy sounds,
Hair lacking fluff,
No more puff.

Her head is down,
Her hair is flat,
She can't turn the frown,
Upside down.

The one known as pink,
Is now on the brink,
With one simple blink,
Her feelings are extinct.

Don't be afraid of laughter,
She isn't known for slaughter.

Make no mistake,
Don't eat the cupcakes.

Now that laughter has faded,
She has become isolated,
From nice to jaded.

Bright blue eyes,
Matched only by the sky,
Now glazed over,
And lack luster.

Ponies of the town,
All sport their frowns,
Even those wearing the crown,
Feel the pain pound for pound.

Now that laughter is gone,
We keep on smiling,
Keep on faking,
But were so close to tears,
Even after all these years.

Generosity leaves

View Online

Generosity leaves,
To much for her to see,
Eyes swollen by tears,
Her worst fears are here.

With vision obscure,
Eyes made a blurr,
By the tears,
That streaked,
Across her cheeks.

Her coat pale white,
Paler than her norm,
Her generous heart turned ice,
She can no longer be nice.

When magic died she could cope,
When laughter faded she lost hope,
She could only say no,
To problems that bothered her so.

She didn't know where to go,
Anywhere was better than home,
Generosity could only roam.

There she goes on her own,
Leaving a little foal,
All alone.

Manehatten the city,
Wondered Generosity,
Is that where she should be?
Can she find a new destiny?

How could she,
Abandon her friends,
In times of need,
She wanted to mend.
The problems they faced,
Instead she left without a trace.

When Magic dies,
nothing is right.

When laugher fades,
Happiness drifts away.

When Generosity leaves,
Nopony grieves.

Kindness is forgotten,

View Online

Kindness is forgotten,
Her life feeling rotten.

Once shy and kind,
Now cold and blind,
Blind to see,
The reality.

Insanity,
is all thats left,
Normality,
Gone like theft.

Her coat,
Once sleek and shine,
Was now,
Matted down and so brine,
Brined from tears,
That left her chills.

Kindness is now hurt,
Left behind in the dirt,
Exactly what she is worth.

Her pink hair whispered,
But nothing answered,
Everypony avoids her,
As if she was a blister,
Maybe some type of cancer.

Kindness was forgotten,
But she wouldn't be A disease,
She thought to herself,
Treated like I had fleas,
She headed to the shelf,
And took out a knife.

Kindness wanted to end her life,
Not just out of spite,
She just wanted to end her strife

With an uneasy breath.
Kindness put herself to rest.

Magic is dead and gone,
But now she wont be alone,
Kindness will soon meet,
Her friend,
And stay till end.

The magic is gone,
The laughter said so long,
Generosity,
had to leave,
And now kindness, isn't alone.

Loyalty diminishes.

View Online

Loyalty diminishes,
Her thoughts unfinished,
Dreams cast aside,
When her loved ones died.

Loyalty is nothing,
Without something.

From taking to the sky,
To living a lie,
She didn't want kindness to die,

Loyalty just wanted to be cool,
To bad theres a rule.

Loyalty never leaves,
Never no way,
Through autumn leafs.
To summer days.

To bad our loyalty is fractured,
Is she now an actor?
Hiding until the rapture,
Finds her and,
Shows all her plan.

Loyalty is diminishing,
Something is missing,
Loyalty is reminiscing,
But nothing is pleasing.

Memories are pained,
Nothing to gain.

In the future,
Will she be a user.

The one known as Rainbow,
Can not go,
Into the sky,
No longer dash,
Can keep living her lie.

Rainbow must diminish,
Her worth is already finished.
No friends loyal to,
Nothing else to do.

When the magic died,
Rainbow lied,
To herself,
Storing memories on her shelf.

When laughter faded,
Rainbows feelings were isolated.

When generosity left,
Rainbow felt pain spread.

Now with kindness gone,
Rainbow feels none.

When our loyalty is no more,
We are left feeling poor,
No more high soars.

This is Honest truth.

Honesty,
How she has stayed sane is beyond me,
Maybe it's because of her family?
Of course she still grieves,
Her friends were family.

The apple of my eye,
Never tells a lie,
Even if she tried,
She couldn't tell a lie.

Honesty,
Is never alone,
Her family is close to home,
Her heart knows where it belongs,
For Honesty shall never roam.

Orange coat and all,
She will never fall,
Once made small,
But came back standing tall.

Her white freckles,
Shining eyes of emerald,
And her lovely smile,
That always lasts awhile.

Honestly,
This is not reality,
Honesty,
In stuck in her insanity.

New apple trees,
Five for each.

Magic, Loyalty, Kindness, Laughter, and Generosity.
Each tree,
Planted with a loved seed.

Tender hoofed,
Careful moves,
And everlasting tears,
Raised these seeds.

When magic died the first seed was planted,
When laughter faded the next seed rooted,
When Generosity left the seeds sprouted,
When kindness was forgotten the seeds were saplings,
Now with loyalty gone the saplings are trees.

In a field honesty stood alone,
Five trees encircled the pony,
Honesty felt like a phony,
Telling lies her heart left frozen.

Everything stopped motion,
Within honesty a deep commotion.

Carry on,
Trot the long,
Paths alone,
Or return to the barn,
Spin another yarn,
Another tale,
Another fib,
This had to be a trick.

This is the honest truth,
Let the lies remain askew.
For all we knew,
Her unhappiness brewed.

This is the Honest Truth.

Everything Dies, Except I

"Discord?" Came an all too familiar soft whispering voice coming from the doorway.

"Yes, dearest Fluttershy?" Discord himself replied.

"What are you doing over there?" The yellow pegasus asked the god of chaos.

"Oh, just writing a little...story." Discord answered from the desk he was sitting at, his talon hand holding a pen down to a small notebook. The mismatched creature turned towards Fluttershy. "Nothing to worry about."

"Oh..okay, well have a goodnight Discord." Fluttershy said as she left the doorway.

"Goodnight Fluttershy." Discord whispered, a small tear glistening in his eye as he turned back to his notebook. Discord finished his the last line in his story and closed the over used notebook.

The notebook had no title, but a sad presence was felt from the blank cover, almost as if it was missing something.

"Everything dies, even you, even I...but I don't die." Discord let out a long dragged out sigh. This sigh was filled with eons of suffering the immortal god has carried on his back.

Discord snapped his talons and the notebook vanished.

"I won't forget you Fluttershy."
