*Creak*

A window on the first floor of the library creaked open, silently. Rainbow Dash glanced around quickly, making sure the coast was clear. Being sure she was alone, Rainbow Dash immediately slipped through the open window, silently closing it afterwards.

It was currently midnight around the town of Ponyville. Rainbow Dash wore a black sneaking suit along with a small pack while she was sneaking through the Golden Oaks Library. She kept her body low as she crawled through the library floors, the path to the basement being her destination. Rainbow Dash was sweating bullets while traversing the library. She had never been more desperate and nervous at the same time before.

Thankfully practically everypony was asleep during this time, yet Rainbow Dash did not want any risks of waking them up. She carefully put each hoof before the other as she crawled towards the basement, reaching the stairs. Upon reaching the stairs, Rainbow Dash glanced around quickly before spreading her wings. She then hurriedly dashed straight down the stairs, coming to an immediate stop once she reached the door at the bottom.

Rainbow Dash carefully opened the basement door, being careful that no pony was around.

“Phew…” Rainbow Dash wiped the sweat off her forehead after seeing the coast was clear. It was difficult to see due to the fact that there wasn't much light during midnight. But thankfully there was just enough to see where she was going. She hovered around the basement, searching for something.

“Surely she must have put it around here somewhere.” Rainbow Dash searched the basement, struggling a bit to rummage through a pile of all sorts of weird junk that she couldn't recognize. Her muscles were already aching due to past events, and moving these items didn't help.

*Cough, cough…*” A sudden dust mist hit Rainbow Dash's face after moving some boxes around. There must've been all sorts of things that were forgotten around here.

Just then, Rainbow Dash caught something in the corner of her eye. It gleamed a bright sparkle in her point of view. Rainbow Dash's mood brightened upon the sight. She reached for it with her hoof, picking it up.

“Jackpot!” she celebrated silently. “I knew she'd try hiding it around here.” Rainbow Dash was so happy now that she had found the book she was looking for. But this was only the first step to her self-proclaimed mission. Now it was time for her to get out. Placing the book inside the small pack she had carried with her, Rainbow Dash made her way back up the basement stairs, carefully closing the basement door behind her.

Rainbow Dash flew to the ground level of the library, peaking her head left and right to make sure no pony was there. She carefully put each hoof before the other, sneaking her way through the library, making her way towards the window she used to get in. Using her hoof to open up the window when she got into range, she took one last glance behind her, scanning the library. Making sure no pony was awake; she slipped outside of the library.

“Yes!...” Rainbow Dash gestured her hoof up then brought it downward in silent victory. It was time for part two of her mission. Rainbow Dash spread her wings and took to the skies, heading towards her next destination.

______________________________________________________________________________

The flight path had taken Rainbow Dash towards Town Hall. While she was flying there, Rainbow Dash’s eyes increasingly became drowsy. Her flying had wavered slightly, but she still managed to land next to one of the Town Hall's underground passage ways.

Rainbow Dash rested her eyes. She instinctively snored slightly while standing up. Being awake past midnight was not something anypony would recommend doing, but it was the only time Rainbow Dash could do this.

Rainbow Dash snapped open her eyes after realizing she’d nearly fallen asleep. She shook her head rapidly in an attempt to break away the drowsiness.

“Come on, Rainbow Dash, pull yourself together…” she spoke under her breath so that no pony could hear. She conked herself in the head with her hoof before taking a look at the book she grabbed earlier about transformation magic. Using what little light there was around Town Hall, she flipped through the pages and skimmed through the articles to find a specific spell page. Thanks to the fact that most of the pages had pictures of the spell in them, it wasn't as difficult to find as one would think.

It took a while, but when she found the page she was looking for, she marked it with a ruler she brought with her using that package. Rainbow Dash placed the book back inside her package before proceeding to undo the latch on the door near Town Hall that lead underground. Instead of taking the stairs after opening the door however, she slipped through and kept herself embraced on the ceiling. It looked like she was using her hooves to stick to the ceiling as she was crawling along it, but she was actually using her wings to maintain her altitude.

As Rainbow Dash crawled across the ceiling of the underground basement of Town Hall, she kept her eyes out for the contraptions that wrote the newspapers for Ponyville. She didn't necessarily have to tread Town Hall like this, but mixing up her activities was something she did regardless. Thanks to the sneaking suit, it would be difficult to spot Rainbow Dash in this night even if a pony was looking straight at her. No pony was around however to test that theory though.

Rainbow Dash’s eyes met with one of the contraptions, so she crawled towards it until she was directly above it. Removing her hooves off of the ceiling, she descended towards the writer upside down with her still beating yet aching wings. Rainbow Dash came within reach of the writer, opening up the slides that allowed copying pages. Opening up her package, she took out the transformation book, opening up to the page she book marked, and slid it inside the receiver. She descended lower to reach the lever used to start the copying. By hitting the lever, the machine started its job.

*Whiirrrr*

Rainbow Dash cringed at the sound the writer was making. If it was too noisy, there was no doubt it would attract attention. She carefully pressed the lever again, causing the machine to make noises again. Each press of the lever caused more noises, making Rainbow Dash more and more nervous with each passing second. The pressure was building up to her head as she continued to allow the machine to copy the pages of that book.

The writer eventually stopped its writing sounds and all Rainbow Dash could hear was the lever clicking from her hoof. The machine was done copying. Rainbow Dash adjusted her altitude to claim the papers she copied, along with the book. After placing both items back into her package, she quickly brought herself back to the ceiling, taking a few glances around the area to make sure no pony had come looking.

Seeing that the coast was clear, Rainbow Dash gave a silent relieved sigh before proceeding towards the exit from where she came in. After getting back outside, Rainbow Dash allowed herself a moment of rest. All that pressure building inside of her head vanished. She wrapped her hooves around her aching body, grunting from the strain she was putting herself in.

“This vacation cannot come soon enough…” Rainbow Dash popped open her package again to make sure the papers she copied were formed correctly. Looking back and forth towards the book and the papers, she confirmed that they indeed were. She placed the items back into her package, making sure that the book was separated from the pages and ruler. Rainbow Dash stood up, closed her eyes, and took a few deep breaths, trying carefully to not fall asleep.

Part two of her mission was complete, so now it was time to initiate part three. The problem is, it was just a repeat of part one. Rainbow Dash spread her wings and took off to her next destination, again.

______________________________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash made her way back to the Golden Oaks library, landing next to the same window she used to sneak in before. She proceeded sneaking in the same manner that she did the last time, making sure the coast was clear before proceeding towards the basement. She was still nervous, but thankful that no pony had awoken yet. But the longer she was here, the more risk there would be for that to happen.

Now that Rainbow Dash was back in the basement of the Golden Oaks Library, it was time to return an overdue book. And this book had to be returned from exactly where she found it. Rainbow Dash reached into her package and brought out the transformation book. Now that she had the pages copied, she no longer needed it, and needed to make sure she wasn't seen with it.

Rainbow Dash made her way towards the back of the basement, where a lot of the items were located that she couldn't recognize. The book was located somewhere among those piles, so that's where she was putting it. After setting the book down, she moved the boxes and other items around to conceal it. With the book back in its place, she turned around to leave the scene.

“Hoo.”

“Aahhh!” Rainbow Dash nearly shouted at the top of her lungs upon the sight of an owl appearing in front of her. “Oh, it’s only you Owlicious. Phew…” Owlicious was perched on top of the railing that led to the basement doors, eying the cyan pegasus creepily. Rainbow Dash couldn't tell how much more her nerves could take. Between the strain that her body was in and how nervous this mission was making her, she really wanted to rest now. But she couldn't, she had to keep going.

“Hoo.”

The noises that were coming from Owlicious were making Rainbow Dash cringe. She feared that any sort of noise now would give away her position. She proceeded towards the basement doors.

“Hoo.”

The owl’s noises were making Rainbow Dash increasingly more nervous as she passed by. It wasn't just the noises but also the way those eyes were stalking her. She tried to take her mind off of Owlicious and focus on getting outside.

“Hoo.”

Okay, now this owl was just taunting her. Rainbow Dash reached the basement doors, opening them and slipping right through. She closed the doors behind her, now out of sight of that creepy owl. Rainbow Dash let out a sigh of relief. Her sanity was being pushed too far for her liking. Rainbow Dash flew slowly up the stairs, trying to keep herself sane. Once she was outside, she could have a moment to relax.

Suddenly, the door from the basement opened. Rainbow Dash gasped in panic, instinctively thinking somepony would catch her. She dashed straight for the window, closing it immediately on her way out, and jumped straight for the nearby bushes to hide.

“*pant, pant, pant.*” Rainbow Dash checked outside of the bushes for a second to make sure no pony had noticed her presence. It was clear, so Rainbow Dash re-concealed herself and plopped herself with her back to the floor. She panted heavily with her limbs spread. She could feel her whole body pulsing with stress and pain. She wanted nothing more than to just lay there and rest.

But if she were to fall asleep now, she'd run the risk of losing the night in her sleep. Rainbow Dash couldn't allow sunrise to come before her mission was complete. If sunrise came, no doubt she would be caught, and her whole operation would be meaningless. She had to endure her pain just a little longer.

Now that Rainbow Dash had returned the book, part three of her mission was complete. Her possession of that book would have otherwise been the biggest give away to her plan. Rainbow Dash grunted as she picked herself off the ground. Her body was determined to fall asleep, but she would not stop her plan. She convinced herself that she would do this, and she was not gonna quit now.

Rainbow Dash took to the skies once again. It was time to start part four of her mission.

______________________________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash’s destination took her high in the skies above Ponyville. She came across a few clouds in her path, flying over, under, and around them as she passed by them. She gave them each a look over as she searched.

“Hmm…” Rainbow Dash put a hoof to her chin as she examined these clouds. It may have been past midnight in the time of Ponyville, but as long as the moon shined brightly across Equestria, these clouds still stood out in the night sky. Rainbow Dash's eyes went into focus on a specific cloud hiding behind two others. She grinned at the sight.

“You’ll do just fine,” Rainbow Dash announced as she slipped past the two clouds and placed her hooves on the one behind them, grabbing it and pushing it. The cloud’s size was a perfect size for use as a bed for a single pegasus. All she needed now was a quiet…

Rainbow Dash shook her head rapidly to get those thoughts out of her head. This cloud wasn't to be used as a bed. There was a different purpose for this cloud, and that's what she was telling herself. The rest could come later.

With this, Rainbow Dash’s fourth task was complete. This was a very simple task. If only all of her tasks had been this easy. Sadly, this was as easy as it got. Fortunately, there was only one task left to do in her mission. Unfortunately, it was most likely the most dangerous task out of all of her tasks. Rainbow Dash’s nerves grew more anxious with this in mind. She feared that if her body didn’t shut down on her, her mind would instead. Gulping down her stress, she proceeded to her final destination, bringing the cloud with her.

______________________________________________________________________________

Here she was. Rainbow Dash hovered just outside of one of the most dangerous places in all of Equestria. She rested on top of the cloud she was transporting as she looked over the Everfree Forest. It was one thing to enter this forest during the day, but Rainbow Dash had to traverse this area past midnight. Not only did she have to travel it alone, but she also had to protect precious cargo, and her mind and body were certainly not in any condition to be traveling somewhere so dangerous.

Rainbow Dash sat there for a few minutes to collect her thoughts. She placed both hooves on her head, fighting back the drowsy feeling. She took deep breaths to relax her sore body. She was having many second thoughts about this mission. Once she finished this last task, there was no turning back.

“No, I've come too far to turn back now. If I'm going down, I'm going down trying!”

Rainbow Dash repositioned her package to the less sore side of her body. She engaged her wings and positioned herself behind the cloud she was sitting on. She started pushing it forwards. Rainbow Dash was now entering the Everfree Forest. Her nerves attacked her full force. She wasn't sure what she was more nervous about, the dangers of the forest, or the dangers of her task.

As Rainbow Dash continued to push her cargo, she kept her eyes searching the air and ground for any signs of danger. It was easier to see any dangers in the air, but the trees below were too thick and huge to catch any sights of dangerous creatures below them very easily. She had to resort to using her ears to listen in on them.

Rainbow Dash closed her eyes to get a better listen in on the ground below, but she didn't stop flying. Not much could be heard. The most Rainbow Dash could hear were the brief sounds of rustling, possibly predators hunting their prey from below. She couldn't hear anything that could possibly be dangerous to her. She had to keep herself aware of any possible dangers; least she'd not even have a split second to react. Rainbow Dash opened her eyes.

*BAM!!!*

“WHOA!!!” A bolt of lightning struck. Rainbow Dash narrowly dodged out of the way before it hit her. The bolt went between her and the cloud cargo she was taking. Rainbow Dash took a look at her surroundings to see what had attacked her. Three storm clouds were surrounding her. These were the clouds from the Everfree Forest that moved on their own, and their target was the cyan pegasus before them.

Even the skies of the Everfree Forest were unsafe. Each storm cloud shot another bolt of lightning at Rainbow Dash.

“AHH!” Rainbow Dash yelped and moved herself along with her cloud cargo higher into the skies to avoid that strike. The three lightning bolts collided with each other, creating a burst of light. After moving her cloud cargo to a safer position in higher altitude, Rainbow Dash descended back to the storm clouds level.

“Hey! Leave Me Alone!” Rainbow Dash charged forth towards one of the storm clouds. Dealing with clouds was the last thing Rainbow Dash wanted in mind with how strained her body already was. The storm cloud she was charging for struck again, but Rainbow Dash avoided the strike. Rainbow Dash came within range. She struck the storm cloud upwards with her fore-hoof, causing half of the cloud to dissipate and then struck with her hind-hoof to dissipate the rest.

Rainbow Dash charged towards the next storm cloud in her sight. The storm cloud generated an electric current around itself. Safe striking points around the cloud were circling it randomly. Rainbow Dash aimed at it carefully as she charged for it. Despite its randomness, there was enough room in that pattern for error, and Rainbow Dash had dealt with something like this many times before.

Rainbow Dash struck the cloud with both hind-hooves just as she reached it. She managed to strike the spots that weren't electrified at the time of contact, causing the whole storm cloud to dissipate without getting herself shocked.

Rainbow Dash panted heavily, putting a hoof to her chest. She looked over her surroundings for the last cloud. She found the last storm cloud ascending to a higher altitude. It seemed to be heading for her cloud cargo.

“Oh no you don't!” Rainbow Dash charged for the last storm cloud. The storm cloud attempted to shoot a lightning strike at Rainbow Dash, but she dodged it. Rainbow Dash reached just above the storm cloud, bringing out both fore-hooves in the air, and struck downwards with them together right at the final storm cloud. The storm cloud dissipated, leaving an exhausted Rainbow Dash in its wake.

Rainbow Dash flew towards her cloud cargo to rest on it. The strain she was putting on her body was too much for her. She prompted herself on her stomach, placing pressure on the sore parts of her body with her hooves, attempting to ease the pain while she breathed heavily. This should have been easy work, but the pain she was suffering wasn't making it so.

“…I can't take it anymore…” Rainbow Dash struggled standing back up on her hooves. “…Somepony, just end it now… take me away…” she started agonizing.

Another bolt of lightning struck.

“AHH!” Rainbow Dash narrowly avoided it by ducking.

“I-I Mean No!” Another bolt of lightning struck, to which she dodged by flying upwards. There were many more storm clouds that came before Rainbow Dash's presence.

“Don’t End It Now!” She flew downwards to avoid another strike. She was in full panic.

“Forget I Said That!” The lightning bolts just kept coming.

“Ahh!”

Rainbow Dash high-tailed it out of there, pushing her cloud cargo and flying away from the storm clouds that ambushed her. She proceeded deeper into the forest flying as fast as her wings were allowing her to. The hut that she was looking for within this forest came into view. Rainbow Dash adjusted her flight path to charge straight for it, not stopping for anything.

When Rainbow Dash reached the door, she immediately opened it, flew right in, and closed it without hesitation. Her cloud cargo was inside and she was bracing herself on the door with her back, panting heavily. On the other side of the room, there was a familiar zebra standing there as if she was awaiting Rainbow Dash's entrance.

“I trust that you have brought-“

“Yeah yeah Zecora, I got everything you asked for! Let's just hurry up and do this!” Rainbow Dash interrupted Zecora, shoving the package she was carrying to the zebra’s face. She wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.

______________________________________________________________________________

The preparations were complete. Zecora had reviewed the pages of the book Rainbow Dash had copied. Most of the area around the hut was cleared for the ceremony. A single cauldron was placed in the middle of the room, with a single stand near it placing a few items. Rainbow Dash was standing on the other side of the cauldron, awaiting the signal from Zecora. The cloud that she brought with her was hovering above the cauldron.

Zecora stood before the caldron, spreading a few ingredients inside, causing the liquid inside to start boiling. Zecora signaled Rainbow Dash with her hoof. Rainbow Dash started hovering in the air using her wings. She created a wind power with her wings that blew towards the cauldron. There were magical properties with this wind that created a reaction with the potion inside the cauldron.

“Jfahakj ev Olohvhoo, xouh eih succ.”

Zecora started speaking in a language Rainbow Dash couldn't understand, probably a language from her land. But that wasn't important to her, she had her part of the job to do, which she already understood. Zecora held a blue flower on a string with her tail, positioning it above the cauldron.

“No rhadw kxo hogiojk ev khudjvehmukaed. Xoot eih najx, veh ak aj dek mado.”

Zecora used one of her tools to scrape the blue flower, dropping some of its seasonings inside the cauldron. The potion was boiling much larger. Even from the winds coming from Rainbow Dash's wings, it did not spill, but Rainbow Dash was growing weary keeping the pace up.

“Walo Ij Xoh Hogiojk, Kxaj Muho Tojahoj Hojk, Udt Kxaj Toot Jxucc Walo Nxuk Jxo Nudkj!”

Zecora signaled Rainbow Dash with her hoof again. Rainbow Dash was panting and sweating from her activities, and now it was time to finish it. Once she did this final task, there was no going back. Her body strained, her wings ached, her mind was tired, and her nerves were at their limits. She would not turn back; she came too far to make second thoughts. She would do this now, no backing out.

Rainbow Dash forced both of her front hooves forward. She struck the cloud that was positioned above the cauldron. The cloud created a lightning strike that shot straight inside the cauldron. The boiling potion flashed an electric current that surrounded the cauldron. The cauldron shot back towards the flying pegasus. The burst of energy impacted Rainbow Dash's body.

“NNGH!!!”

The flashing magical aura surrounded Rainbow Dash, causing her to glow brightly.

“WALO XOH RUSB NXUK JXO XUJ CEJK! WALO XOH RUSB XOH RHOOQAO VEHM!”

Rainbow Dash’s body was disappearing in this light. Her body was changing. She could feel her limbs being pushed in.

“AAHHH!!!”

The entire hut flashed an explosion of light.

Breezie

View Online

It was just like any normal afternoon in Ponyville with the sun shining brightly across the land. Fluttershy’s animal critters loved this type of weather. It was the perfect weather for their playtime. Fluttershy had kept her gardens pure and elegant to her critters wishes.

Today, as they played and enjoyed the land, Fluttershy was busy watering her gardens, keeping the land healthy and pure. Even though this spot of the land was close to somewhere not so pure and innocent, she still watered it.

*Rustle...*

Fluttershy’s ears perked upon hearing the sound of rustling. Normally this wouldn’t have been too strange for her, but the direction she heard the noise from was in the direction of the unnatural forest.

“Hmm?” Fluttershy placed her watering canister down and carefully approached the sound.

*Rustle...*

Fluttershy noticed that the sound wasn’t coming from inside the forest, but rather near it.

“H-hello, who’s there?” Fluttershy feared the Everfree Forest, but she loved her little animal critters. Some of her critters even came from that unnatural forest. The rustling that she heard was coming from a small bush a few distances away from the entrance of the forest. Fluttershy’s fear turned to concern. She approached the small bush.

______________________________________________________________________________

“Mmmph…” *Rustle...* Rainbow Dash groaned. Her body felt so weak and sore. She tried to move, but she could barely do so. She couldn’t tell where she was, but everywhere she felt was foliage, probably grass or leaves. She kept her eyes closed as she felt her way through. Her wings felt so big, yet delicate. It didn’t help that her wings were already in pain from the strain that she put her body through.

Rainbow Dash struggled to crawl out of whatever foliage she was covered in. She couldn’t see where she was because that foliage blocked her view. She continued to crawl, until finally, she broke daylight, and fell. Her body collapsed towards the ground, but softly.

“Uungh…” Rainbow Dash’s voice sounded so high pitched to her. She decided to open her eyes. The bright light outside and her weakened state blurred her vision, but in front of her, she could barely make out something yellow. She slowly lifted her head up.

______________________________________________________________________________

*Gasp*, oh my goodness…” Fluttershy put a hoof to her mouth in shock and concern. A small critter had just fallen out of the bushes. She brought her head down towards it, seeing that it was hurt. Fluttershy could recognize what the little critter was, but she could not believe that it was here. It had the body and shape of a regular pony, light blue coat, and a multi-colored mane and tail, but its size was so much smaller. It had antennae on its head and a set of large but clear wings.

There was no doubt about it. What Fluttershy was seeing in front of her was a tiny little fairy creature known as a breezie, but she looked liked she was in bad shape.

______________________________________________________________________________

“Are you okay?” Rainbow Dash could hear the gentle voice of the yellow pony in front of her as it brought a gentle hoof down to her. Rainbow Dash's blurred vision slowly came into focus as she looked back at the bigger pony. Rainbow Dash flinched a little but immediately relaxed when the yellow hoof came in contact with her. She could recognize the pony as Fluttershy, and if she was that big, that could only mean one thing.

Her plan had succeeded.

Rainbow Dash smiled and collapsed onto Fluttershy’s hoof. Fluttershy picked up the little breezie and brought her in the air.

“Oh you poor little thing… don’t you worry, I’ll take care of you.” Fluttershy held the little breezie in both of her hooves as she flew towards her cottage, making sure not to go too fast for the little breezie to handle. The questions that flowed through Fluttershy’s head ranged from what a breezie was doing in Equestria at this point in time, to why this breezie was all alone here. But right now, all that mattered was getting this breezie nursed back to health.

______________________________________________________________________________

Upon arriving at her home cottage, Fluttershy made no stop in opening the door, flying inside, and closing it, all the while keeping the injured breezie safe in her hooves.

“Angel? Angel dear!” Fluttershy called out. “I need you to go and get the first aid kit, we have an injured patient and she needs help!” Fluttershy set the little breezie down on a soft sofa in her living room.

Upon their trip, Rainbow Dash had taken the liberty to doze off, or at least rest her eyes during her transportation to Fluttershy’s cottage. When she was set down after her trip, she opened her eyes back up. She lifted her tired head to get a better look at Fluttershy.

“Hello there little one, my name is Fluttershy,” Fluttershy started as she brought her head down to meet eye level with Rainbow Dash, bringing a yellow hoof to lightly touch the small breezie. “Don’t you worry, I’m gonna take care of you. You’ll get better, you’ll see,” she spoke in a calming, soothing voice as she pet the little breezie.

It was the same voice that she used for all of her little critters. Rainbow Dash could recognize that enchantment, but between the touch from Fluttershy’s hoof and that enchanting voice, it wasn’t until now that she could feel its effects. It was either because this time it was directed at her, or that she was inheriting it from her breezie form now, but she was taking a liking to it.

Rainbow Dash looked up at the giant sized Fluttershy before her.

“Kxudb oei.” Rainbow Dash put a little hoof to her mouth. She had meant to say, ‘Thank you’, but it seemed to come out in a different language by mistake. The breezies did speak in a different language, but she couldn’t understand it. Perhaps she could just instinctively speak it due to her form.

“Oh you’re welcome, I’m happy to help,” Fluttershy replied proudly. Of course, if Fluttershy could understand the language, Rainbow Dash believed that it didn't matter which language she was speaking. “Here, let me take a look at you.” Fluttershy examined the little breezie thoroughly for injuries, all the while Rainbow Dash examined along with her.

There was a lot of sweat apparent on Rainbow Dash’s forehead, but most of it appeared to have dried. No apparent damage could be seen from the antennas though. There were a few scrape marks and dirt around her legs and body, probably from the bush she was stuck in. Both her rainbow mane and tail were a mess and the colors weren’t aligned right.

Most of her injuries couldn’t be seen, so Fluttershy had to use the tip of one of her wings to feel around gently. Rainbow Dash signaled her on whatever spots were sore, which nearly her whole body was sore. The most visible signs of injury however were apparent on her large wings.

Rainbow Dash’s large clear wings were wrinkled and damaged. The way they were so clear made the dirt caught on them very visible. It looked like a few parts on the wings were ripped on its edges a little, but the amount was minor and barely noticeable. Still, it could use some treating. But overall, none of her injuries seemed to be anything too serious, which was good.

Rainbow Dash heard the sound of something rolling in the distance. She and Fluttershy looked towards its direction. A single white rabbit Rainbow Dash recognized as Angel was hastily pushing a small cart carrying the much larger first aid kit that Fluttershy seemed to request. It didn’t take long for him to reach the two.

“Oh, thank you Angel.” Fluttershy took the kit in her hooves and set it down next to the little cyan fairy. Rainbow Dash sat up as she watched Fluttershy open up the kit and take out some of its supplies. Meanwhile, Angel was climbing up on top of the sofa to provide assistance. They both worked together to treat Rainbow Dash of her wounds. Angel delivered the items Fluttershy asked, while Fluttershy did the treating.

Fluttershy first started with a cool moist rag to wipe the sweat off of Rainbow Dash’s head. This helped Rainbow Dash relax her tired muscles. Rainbow Dash lifted herself up to her hooves. Those giant wings made her body so light that she nearly went airborne from just picking herself up.

The moist rag moved towards her neck area. It felt so great to have that thing just slide around her cyan coat as Fluttershy gently rubbed it along her coat. Rainbow Dash lifted herself to stand on her hind legs while her large wings kept her balanced from falling. This made it easier for Fluttershy to get all around her small body with that refreshing moist rag.

Rainbow Dash really enjoyed the feeling. The feeling only became more intense when Fluttershy started moving the rag towards her wings. The gentle wetness touching her wings were much more apparent not from just how delicate they were, but they were currently the sorest part of her body right now. Rainbow Dash tried desperately to keep her small moans in, but to no avail. Fluttershy was cleverly using her own wing to keep the little breezie’s wing in place while she wiped off the dirt in those areas.

“Okay, let’s get you all patched up.” Rainbow Dash dropped back on all four legs as Fluttershy finished cleaning her off. Rainbow Dash sighed out. She was half glad that that moment was over, because it was much more blissful than she expected, and possibly too much that she wanted all at once. She wondered if this was how all the animals felt that came into Fluttershy’s care, or if it was just because of her condition boosting the feels.

Angel preceded to hand a roll of bandages to Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash lifted her right foreleg for Fluttershy as this was where she was gonna start. It was then that Angel had glanced over at the cyan breezie. He decided to hop closer to her, examining her presence. Rainbow Dash noticed this while Fluttershy continued placing bandages over the scrapes and bruises that were around the rest of her body. After her body was treated, Rainbow Dash turned away from Fluttershy not only so that her wings could start being treated, but also to figure out what was up with this rabbit. Angel stared directly into Rainbow Dash’s eyes, as if he was looking for something in them.

“(What, what do you want?)” Rainbow Dash continued to use the breezie language as communication, whether Angel could understand or not. There was just something unsettling about this bunny, but she couldn’t figure out what.

Suddenly Angel’s eyes grew wide as if he had realized something, then they almost immediately shifted into a glare. Angel placed his arms in a crossed position as he gave Rainbow Dash a stern look.

“Okay, how does that feel?” Fluttershy announced after patching up the bruises on the little cyan breezie. Rainbow Dash turned her attention away from the somehow intimidating bunny and started to stretch her limbs around for any signs of pain. There were no signs of strain at all, and the bandages wrapped around her comfortably. She was grateful. It turned out most of her injuries were caused due to exhaustion.

“(That feels perfect, Fluttershy.)” Rainbow Dash put a hoof to her mouth after she had responded. She thought she had made a mistake until she remembered almost immediately after that Fluttershy had already introduced herself. But Fluttershy looked concerned again.

“Oh my, is your mouth sore?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash took this opportunity to respond in kind by moving her hoof to her neck and making a sound of clearing her throat.

“Would you like some water dear? You looked awfully dehydrated when I found you.” Rainbow Dash couldn’t tell whether to be surprised or not by how accurate that statement was. She did feel pretty dang tired when she was found in that bush, but she didn’t realize about how dehydrated she might have felt at the time. Rainbow Dash nodded her response to Fluttershy.

“Okay, wait right here, I’ll be right back,” Fluttershy said, still using that same soothing voice she’d been using since she found the little breezie.

Fluttershy left towards the kitchen to get some water for her new little breezie friend. Rainbow Dash had a pleasing smile as she watched Fluttershy go. Things could not have gone any better than they were now. Except for one thing, the way that bunny next to her was staring at her. There was definitely something going on with him.

“(Stop staring at me like that, you’re giving me the creeps.)” Angel’s stern look turned into a smug smile. He hopped over to one side of the cyan breezie. Rainbow Dash followed his movements. Angel hopped to another side of her, and then another. Pretty soon Angel was just running circles around her.

Rainbow Dash tried to keep up with his movements, but due to not only her current lack of energy, but also the lack of power within her wings from the breezie form she took, it was impossible for her to do so.

Angel suddenly stopped right in front of Rainbow Dash and shoved her forwards with his paws.

“(Ahh!)” The force that Angel made caused Rainbow Dash to fall backwards, awkwardly slow. Rainbow Dash grunted when she landed on her back, but the landing was so soft that it didn’t harm her at all. The action just looked downright humiliating.

Angel started laughing after seeing that gesture. He even collapsed down on to the sofa they were still standing on, clutching his stomach. Rainbow Dash groaned.

There was no doubt about it now. This bunny must’ve recognized her, and now he was going to mess with her in so many ways.

This little bunny had the heart of an angel, but the personality of a devil. Whenever there was an animal in need of much attention and care, Angel was always there to help Fluttershy. He even helped Fluttershy during her times of deep depression. But when it came to times of normalcy, Angel was such a rotten brat. He was easily the worst behaving animal out of all of Fluttershy’s animals, but also the most intelligent and helpful.

“(Okay Angel, I see your game now! You're gonna pay for that!)” Rainbow Dash said with a sharp tone as she picked herself up, although the tone didn’t sound too sharp due to her high pitched voice. But she had a goal now, and that was to get back at that bunny whenever she could. Rainbow Dash couldn’t tell if Angel could understand her language, but he made responses as if he could, or at least the gist of it. It was like how everypony had responded to Angel with his gestures.

Despite being Fluttershy’s personal pet, Angel was the only animal it seemed that Fluttershy both owned and couldn’t understand verbally. Angel always had to use different sort of signs to communicate with her. Even Rainbow Dash could sometimes understand him as a result.

Rainbow Dash stood back on all her limbs. She took a fighting stance as she glared at the white rabbit before her. Angel grinned at her antics. She was picking a fight as a breezie. This certainly wouldn’t end well, but she looked confident. She slid a hoof along the sofa as she prepared.

“Here you go little one.” Rainbow Dash took her attention away from Angel when she noticed a yellow hoof carrying a small container of water being gestured toward her. She forgot that Fluttershy was bringing that.

Rainbow Dash decided that this little dispute will be settled later. She wasn’t here to put more strain on her body after all, she was here to rest. Besides, her body was covered in a few bandages right now, so it wouldn’t be smart anyway. Rainbow Dash took the container in her hooves and started to sip its contents.

“Oh my, were you two getting along while I was away?” Rainbow Dash started shooting a spit take which she immediately halted with her hoof after hearing that. Somehow the container she dropped landed perfectly on the sofa without spilling.

“This is Angel. He may be a little grumpy at times, but I assure you, he is such a sweetheart. I’m sure you two will get along just fine.” Angel responded to that notion by wrapping a paw around Rainbow Dash’s neck. He closed his eyes and shot out a bright and innocent smile towards Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash nervously gulped down the remaining water she had left in her mouth after her spit take. That smile looked purely innocent, but behind it was no doubt nothing but pure evil. Her suspicions were confirmed when Angel shot her a glaring smile. Rainbow Dash gave a nervous chuckle. Yeah, they were definitely going to be best friends.

Angel released his grip on Rainbow Dash and hopped away, off the couch to go somewhere. Whether he would return later was a mystery to Rainbow Dash. She picked back up her water container and resumed to sip its contents. Calming her nerves with water seemed like the best thing to do now.

“So, what is your name little one?” Fluttershy asked the cyan breezie. Rainbow Dash didn’t respond however. She was too focused on the refreshing water that penetrated her soul. It was just normal water, but Rainbow Dash didn’t realize just how dehydrated she really was till she started slowly drinking its contents. It relaxed her to the core that she practically chugged the whole thing down. When she finished, she put the container down and gave a satisfying sigh. Fluttershy giggled slightly at the sight.

“Oh my, you really were thirsty weren’t you?” When Fluttershy took back the empty container, Rainbow Dash suddenly gave off a yawn.

“Oh, are you sleepy now?” Rainbow Dash seized her yawning and looked at Fluttershy with sleepy little eyes. She turned away to walk towards one end of the sofa. Fluttershy took a look outside one of her windows. She noticed that the sun was currently setting. As such, she flew off around the cottage to go get something.

As Rainbow Dash came to one end of the sofa, Fluttershy came back with a pillow and a blanket, with the size that seemed fit for a breezie surprisingly. Fluttershy first set down the small pillow next to the breezie.

“Here you go.” Rainbow Dash picked her hooves up and down upon the spot of the sofa she chose, making it slightly more comfortable before she plopped herself down, bringing her head to lay on the small pillow that was just the right size for her. Fluttershy then brought the small blanket over to lay it on top of her. She tucked the little breezie’s wings to fold comfortably beneath the blanket.

“(Mmh…)” Despite her wings being very large compared to the rest of her body, Rainbow Dash was placed in such a position that they not only didn’t get in the way, but the weight of the blanket kept them folded close to her. Perhaps the advantage to having such delicate wings wasn’t so bad during sleepy time.

“Good night my little breezie.” Fluttershy then proceeded to give Rainbow Dash a soft kiss on her forehead. This caused Rainbow Dash to blush a bit deeply. It was just more of Fluttershy’s kindness, perhaps too much for Rainbow Dash to handle in a single day.

Nevertheless, Rainbow Dash was very happy now. This was only the start of her vacation. And if things kept going the way they were, she might just die from the kindness itself. Rainbow Dash fell into a deep sleep as Fluttershy turned out the lights within the cottage. Tomorrow would be a new day, and possibly the first day in a while where Rainbow Dash could just relax, and not be so stressed and exhausted.

“(Mmh…)” Rainbow Dash stirred her little breezie body in her sleep. She slowly lifted her head off of her pillow and gave a huge yawn, stretching both her forelegs in the air.

“Good morning sleepy head.” Rainbow Dash felt a giant hoof patting gently on her forehead. When she opened her eyes, her vision blurred before coming into focus. Her eyes were met by the same yellow pegasus that took her in yesterday. Fluttershy had a bright smile on her face, so Rainbow Dash couldn’t help but smile back.

“Here you go, this’ll give your little breezie body some strength back.” Fluttershy held out a wing in front of her little cyan breezie friend. Rainbow Dash could clearly see the food items laid out on her wing. Selective small foods ranging from a single grape or cherry, to large crumbs of a cookie or bread were placed on that wing. It was like being served breakfast in bed.

Rainbow Dash smiled at the sight. The food items were small, but they were the perfect size for a little breezie like herself. She went for the cherry first and began gnawing at it, squirting some of its juices in her mouth and some spilling on Fluttershy’s wing. But Fluttershy didn’t mind. She was glad to see the little breezie happily eating her food. It only meant that she was recovering and her appetite was fine.

“You know, if you’re going to be staying here, you’ll need a name,” Fluttershy started. Rainbow Dash was too busy eating her breakfast to notice Fluttershy’s words. “Let’s see…” Fluttershy moved her hoof to her chin as she examined the little breezie eating in front of her.

Rainbow Dash finished eating the cherry and wiped her mouth of the juice that stuck to her, leaving the stem behind. She noticed that some of the juices from that tiny fruit had spilled onto Fluttershy’s wing. Rainbow Dash took a glance at Fluttershy, who just gave off that innocent smile back at her. It made Rainbow Dash a little nervous to see that smile after the way she ate.

“(Heheh…)” Rainbow Dash gave a nervous chuckle. She looked down at the stain for a few seconds. She then decided to bring her head down to it and start licking its contents.

Fluttershy just enjoyed watching this little breezie being happy with her breakfast. She took a glance at the multi-colored mane. It still had the same mess that it had when she first found the little breezie. Fluttershy brought her hoof towards the small, but long multi-colored mane. She took her time spreading the mane out, trying to realign their colors.

Rainbow Dash continued to lick the stain on Fluttershy’s wing while Fluttershy was brushing and fixing her mane style.

The more Fluttershy adjusted the mane, the more natural it started to look. She had a strange vibe from looking at that mane. The name that came to her mind from looking at that mane was too similar. It was almost as if…

*Gasp…*” Fluttershy gave a small gasp at the realization. She slowly took her hoof away from the messy mane as she examined the little breezie more thoroughly. The light blue coat, the multi-colored mane, the eating habit…

“…R-rainbow?”

Rainbow Dash froze up upon hearing what Fluttershy said. She nervously drew her head away from the stained wing and carefully looked up at Fluttershy, who was giving her a closer concerned expression.

“…R-rainbow Dash?”

Fear had coursed through Rainbow Dash’s form. She slowly backed away from Fluttershy’s wing, attempting to escape that intimidatingly concerned look.

“(N-no… s-stop looking at me like that… you’re scaring me…)” Rainbow Dash attempted to deny while she stumbled over her words. She kept backing away towards one end of the sofa while slowly shaking her head.

The rest of the food that were placed on Fluttershy’s wing had spilled off as she retracted her wing back to her side while drawing her head closer to the nervous breezie in front of her. It was so hard to believe what she was seeing in this breezie, but the more she examined the little breezie, the more she couldn’t deny it.

“It’s you, is it not, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy brought her hoof back closer to the little breezie that had been backed up to the wall of the sofa.

Rainbow Dash hung her head low as she sat down and gave a sorrowful sigh. It was hopeless to deny it any longer. Rainbow Dash knew that this would come up eventually, but she really hoped that she could’ve avoided it.

“…Yes Fluttershy,… it’s me… it’s Rainbow Dash…” Rainbow Dash seized using the breezie language as she admitted herself to Fluttershy. There was a short pause before she lifted her head back up to meet Fluttershy’s gaze. More worry over took Fluttershy’s face after her admittance.

“Oh my goodness, what happened to you?” Fluttershy began, much to Rainbow Dash’s dismay.

“You were hurt, tired. You looked like you hadn’t had any sleep in days! How did you ever get into such a bad condition?” Now Rainbow Dash was confused. Was Fluttershy more concerned about her health rather than her form?

“Oh my, if I hadn’t been out there yesterday, no pony might’ve found you.” Fluttershy pulled away from the couch as she continued to fret over the possible disasters that could’ve occurred had she not found Rainbow Dash.

“Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash attempted to grab her attention.

“You could’ve been lost wandering out there for a long time, possibly forever, starving, or getting eaten by a-“

“Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash raised her high-pitched voice much louder. This seemed to grab Fluttershy’s attention as she froze her actions. Both hooves were placed towards her cheeks while her wings kept her suspended in mid-air. Fluttershy broke her stance by bringing her hooves back towards the ground and eyes focused on Rainbow Dash.

“Fluttershy, I’m okay, really,” Rainbow Dash started as she smiled at Fluttershy, feeling a little less fear in her heart.

“But Rainbow Dash, those injuries…” Fluttershy responded

“Okay, so I wasn’t looking too good yesterday, but you took care of me and now I feel so much better.” Rainbow Dash confirmed this by moving and stretching her limbs around. Her body was still covered in bandages, but most of the pain she suffered yesterday was gone. She did the same demonstration with her wings, but she didn’t leave contact from the sofa.

“…Um, o-okay, but how did you get into such a bad shape?” Fluttershy asked.

“Well… it’s kind of a long story,” Rainbow Dash remarked as she nervously rubbed the back of her head. This wasn’t quite the reaction that she had expected from Fluttershy, but it didn’t change the fact that she would have to explain herself. She wanted to find a way to make this easier to do.

“Listen Fluttershy, can we go and take a walk outside? I want to get some fresh air,” Rainbow Dash requested. She felt that it would be easier to talk that way.

“But Rainbow Dash, you’re still hurt, are you sure you should be-“

“Don’t worry Fluttershy, I’ll be fine,” Rainbow Dash interrupted. “As long as you stay by my side, I’ll be safe.” Rainbow Dash tested her claims by using her wings to lift herself in the air. While she wasn’t fully recovered from her strain, she had more than enough strength in her for a simple flight. She allowed herself to drop back down on the ground as she continued. “And don’t worry; I’ll explain everything along the way.”

Fluttershy contemplated on Rainbow Dash’s decision. She knew all too well about the delicate form that the breezies had, especially on their wings, and how dangerous it is outside for them without a proper breeze and group to guide them. But Fluttershy also knew about Rainbow Dash’s extensive knowledge on the weather itself. If there was anypony else who knew of the breezies’ capabilities of flight outside, Rainbow Dash would be that pony.

“Okay Rainbow Dash, but first…” Fluttershy brought her hoof towards the bandages that were attached to Rainbow Dash’s body. “Let me replace these bandages. After that, we’ll get ready to go.” Rainbow Dash gave a happy and relieved sigh at that response. Fluttershy was just too kind sometimes.

“(Thanks again, Fluttershy.)”

______________________________________________________________________________

Their preparations for taking a walk outside of the cottage had proceeded smoothly with no complications. Fluttershy had removed and replaced the bandages that were on Rainbow Dash. Most of the bruises and scratches had nearly disappeared, but it wouldn’t hurt to have a few bandages for another day. Otherwise the bandages were mainly there for those spots on Rainbow Dash that were still sore. Her wings however were clear of bandages to prevent hindrances.

The duo was outside now, a little distance away from the cottage. Rainbow Dash was currently attached to Fluttershy’s back. The breeze outside showed effect on Rainbow’s wings in that if she were to fly alone, it would be difficult to keep herself steady and on track. She had to stay close to Fluttershy in order to be safe, but that wasn’t the only reason.

“So, where do you want to go, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy had asked as Rainbow Dash started climbing to the top of her head.

“A walk to the lake would be great, but before we go…” Rainbow Dash held a grip onto Fluttershy’s pink mane as she tested the weather outside. After turning towards the direction of the lake, Rainbow Dash put the tip of one of her forelegs in her mouth and gave it a good salivated lick. She then removed it away from her mouth and lifted it upwards in the air, letting the movement of the saliva determine the direction and strength of the wind.

“The wind is blowing towards the west direction, so it’s coming from the east.” Rainbow Dash started sliding down Fluttershy’s long mane. “As long as you stay on my right side, I’ll be okay,” she finished as she went airborne.

“Mmm.” Fluttershy nodded, confirming that she understood.

The duo proceeded to have a nice walk towards the lake outside of Ponyville. Rainbow Dash hovered in the air next to Fluttershy, keeping pace with her walking speed. It felt so great to Rainbow Dash that she could finally enjoy the outside air again without having to strain herself into overdrive with task after task.

“So Rainbow Dash, what happened?” Fluttershy started in a careful voice.

Rainbow Dash only wished that this had been a stress less flight, but if there was ever an easier time to explain her story; this would be the best time. She took a deep breath and sighed out before she started.

“Okay Fluttershy, here’s what’s been happening,” Rainbow Dash began as she inched her flight closer to Fluttershy. “You know how often I like to take my afternoon naps during work right? Well, a lot of ponies are starting to notice that and believe I’m the laziest pony on the job.”

“But Rainbow Dash…” Fluttershy glanced back at Rainbow Dash as she remarked. “Everypony knows that you’re the hardest working pegasus that works in the weather factory.”

“Yeah, every ‘pegasus’ who works there knows that,” Rainbow Dash replied as she rolled her eyes at her own words. She adjusted her flight path to position herself on the right side of Fluttershy, where she could feel the wind blow.

“When I’m on the job, everypony can see just how hard I really work in the weather factory.” Rainbow Dash suddenly showed brief signs of struggles against the wind.

“I bust my wings off making sure that everypony in Ponyville will get the weather they’re expecting, be it rain or sunshine, I’m on the job, and I get it done on schedule.” Rainbow Dash then readjusted her flight path to the left side of Fluttershy, where the wind was blocked. Fluttershy kept her eyes on track on Rainbow Dash to make sure she didn’t hurt herself.

“And after a hard day’s work, I need a quick nap to recharge my energy right?” Rainbow Dash preceded towards Fluttershy’s back, and proceeded to let herself fall down slowly, with her gaze in the skies.

*Sigh* unfortunately that’s the only part everypony is seeing lately, my naps on the job,” Rainbow Dash finished as she laid her breezie body on Fluttershy’s back, casting her gaze in the skies. Fluttershy was still walking, but she paid full attention to her story.

“Oh my, that sounds just awful. All of your hard work is being unrecognized?” Fluttershy asked with a sympathetic look on her face.

“To the ponies that don’t work in the weather factory, yes,” Rainbow Dash continued as she picked herself up to a standing position.

“Think about how that is like, I do my best to make sure these ponies get what they want, and everypony hates me because they only see the lazy side of me.” Fluttershy casted her gaze towards the ground, not only to confirm her path as she continued to walk, but also to contemplate on what Rainbow Dash just said.

“But the worst part is that it is affecting my work.” Rainbow Dash grabbed one of the ends of Fluttershy’s pink mane, lifting it upwards while lifting her other hoof to mimic it. “Now whenever there is a job to do…” she shook the mane, “…and my name gets mentioned…” she shook her hoof, “our job gets canceled!” she finished by throwing the pink mane overboard, which instead made it twirl around Fluttershy’s neck, causing it to bounce back due to the limit, and come crashing back into Rainbow Dash’s face. She flinched and snapped her eyes shut upon impact.

“Oh my… why would anypony do that?” Fluttershy had just arrived at the lake that Rainbow Dash requested they walk to. She proceeded to bring herself down into a lying position in front of the lake.

“Mmph…” Rainbow Dash rubbed her face. “I don’t know, but I had to do something, so, I had an idea.” Rainbow Dash slid off of Fluttershy’s back and landed on the grass. “Since nopony wanted my services…” she brought a hoof to her chest, “I would self-assign myself to assist the pegasi who were requested for their jobs.”

Fluttershy reached into her wing to bring out a small brush she had brought along. “But Rainbow Dash, would they accept your help?”

Rainbow Dash jumped in front of Fluttershy to meet eye to eye. “Of course they wouldn’t Fluttershy, because they all believe I’m a lazy good for nothing pegasus lying on the job.” She turned away from Fluttershy to walk towards the lake.

“If I was going to get myself recognized again, I had to do some weather duties, whether they wanted me to or not.” Rainbow Dash pushed herself off the ground to allow her wings to get her airborne again.

“And while I was sneaking myself into weather duties, I would work faster than I normally do, just to prove to them that I’m not lazy.” She crossed her forelegs together and gave a smug look across the lake.

“It was the perfect plan.”

The wind started blowing against Rainbow Dash’s wings, causing her to be blown off uncontrollably.

“Who-oa… Ow.” Rainbow Dash’s crash course was stopped by a yellow hoof that aimed to catch her in the air. Fluttershy brought Rainbow Dash down on the ground to lie on her belly in front of her.

“And did it work?” Fluttershy asked as she picked her small brush up. She proceeded to run the brush along the messed up multi-colored mane, fixing up the colors. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes as the brush ran along her mane. The feeling of that brush running along her mane helped her relax and concentrate on her story.

“Oh it worked alright," Rainbow Dash continued proudly. "Those ponies had never seen anything like it before. The work that I pulled in setting up the proper weather was set up so fast; they didn’t even have time to tell me to not help.”

Fluttershy took a pause in brushing Rainbow Dash’s mane as she listened to her story.

“In fact, they were so surprised that they started asking me for help, even while I was off the job. They no longer saw me as a lazy pegasus,” Rainbow Dash finished.

“Oh, that sounds wonderful Rainbow Dash, I’m so happy for you,” Fluttershy said before resuming her brushing.

“Yeah, it was. The way that everypony was appreciating me? I couldn’t be any happier… but that was the whole… ooh…”

Rainbow Dash’s story came to a halt as she felt the brush start rubbing along the back of her neck. Fluttershy had switched from brushing Rainbow Dash’s mane to brushing her coat.

“…Fluttersh… Aahhh…” Rainbow Dash couldn’t contain her moans as the smooth brush ran along her coat, moving towards her back. It felt too great to express into words. She felt pleasure that she believed was impossible to feel in a full grown pony’s body. Her multi-colored tail started vibrating all on its own in reaction to the relaxing moment.

Fluttershy couldn’t help but giggle at the response that the little breezie she was grooming was making. She wasn’t done fixing Rainbow Dash’s mane, but the expressions she was making was just too cute to pass up. Fluttershy put down her brush for a moment to start petting Rainbow Dash with her hoof.

“Oh Dashie, you must be so proud. To have all those ponies crowding you with their appreciation? That’s what you like isn’t it, just like this grooming,” Fluttershy stated in such a motherly tone, it was like she was praising a little filly, or in this case she was praising a tiny critter.

“…Yeahh…” Rainbow Dash was engrossed by the feeling of her coat being rubbed by that gentle hoof. But then Rainbow Dash realized the whole point was being missed. “I-I mean, no! Fluttershy that isn’t good!”

Fluttershy immediately removed her hoof away from Rainbow Dash. “Oh, you don’t like the groom? Oh I’m so sorry…”

“Wait, no Fluttershy, I’m talking about the attention,” Rainbow Dash corrected as she stood up to face Fluttershy.

“You wanted more attention?” Fluttershy asked.

“No!” Rainbow Dash raised her high-pitched tone. This conversation was not going the way she had planned. “Just, let me start over.” Rainbow Dash grunted as she turned away from Fluttershy and put a hoof to her forehead. “I wasn’t talking about the groom. That felt awesome.” She lay back down on her belly as she continued. “I was talking about the attention I was getting from everypony.”

“But Rainbow Dash, I thought you wanted all that attention to prove that you were a hard worker,” Fluttershy said as she picked up the brush again to resume fixing Rainbow Dash’s mane.

“Yeah, I did, and I succeeded at that pretty well, but that was the whole problem!” Rainbow Dash announced, a little bit of aggravation apparent in her voice. She sighed out again to calm down. Thankfully the brushing that was being done on her mane helped with that.

“I was able to prove to those ponies that I wasn’t lazy, but they also saw just how fast I could get the weather duties done. I received more jobs to do, I was requested more assistance…” Rainbow Dash paused for a moment. “Pretty soon I was getting so many requests that I had no time for myself!” Rainbow Dash started raising her voice again. “I didn’t even have time to rest! It was just me, a few weather pegasi, and BEING STRUCK BY LIGHTNIN-ACK!!!”

Fluttershy flinched from that outburst, causing her to tug on Rainbow Dash’s mane very roughly with the brush and lose her grip on it as it dropped to the ground. Rainbow Dash rubbed on her mane with her hoof.

“S-sorry Rainbow Dash, you startled me.” Fluttershy picked the brush back up and resumed her work.

“So as I was saying, I’ve been getting so much attention lately that I have no time for myself anymore. And if I say no, they’ll just keep begging me and following me to the ends of Equestria until I agree to help.” Rainbow Dash paused as she sighed out again. “The only time I had time for myself was when everypony’s asleep, and I’d be WAY too tired to even move out of my own bed.”

“There, all done.” Fluttershy had ceased her brushing of Rainbow Dash’s mane, announcing that she was finally done. Rainbow Dash ran a hoof along part of her mane before she hovered above the lake to have a look.

Taking a look at the water’s reflection, Rainbow Dash could clearly see her mane completely fixed. she posed around a few times to examine her reflection. Her mane gave off that really long and natural flow, just the way she liked it. All of the colors were aligned correctly as well. She gave a deep smile.

“Awesome!" Rainbow Dash announced as she looked back to Fluttershy. "This is perfect, Fluttershy.”

“You’re welcome,” Fluttershy responded with a kind smile before she asked something else. “So is that why you were in such a bad shape when I found you?” Rainbow Dash looked back at her reflection before she responded.

“Yeah, I needed a vacation, but no matter where I went, ponies knew where to find me. I couldn’t hide anywhere except for someplace dangerous like the Everfree Forest.” Fluttershy gulped nervously after she heard the mention of that forest. “Speaking of which, it was when I decided to hide there that I figured out how to escape all of my problems,” Rainbow Dash finished as she floated back to Fluttershy.

“You were hiding in the Everfree Forest?” Fluttershy asked, surprised by that revelation.

“Actually I was hiding over at Zecora’s place. She was working on a new type of potion that, well, I don’t remember what it was for, but she agreed to help me out with a sort of transformation as long as I could help her get it to work,” Rainbow Dash announced, leaving a confused look on Fluttershy.

“She agreed to help you out just like that?”

“Well, no, um…” Rainbow Dash stuttered. “This wasn’t the first time I had to hide out there.” Rainbow Dash tried to explain the situation by leaving out certain details that she didn’t want to explain. “Let’s just say, my idea of a vacation in the Everfree Forest was not one of my brightest ones.” Fluttershy held a worried look on her face as she thought about what that implied.

Rainbow Dash showed signs that she was losing her confidence in her story telling. She floated back down towards the ground to lie on her belly again. Fluttershy was able to notice this. So she picked up the brush again and resumed brushing it along Rainbow Dash’s coat while she curled one of her wings gently around the little breezie. Rainbow Dash moaned at the relaxing touch as she closed her eyes. It was enough to build back her comfort in talking about her story.

“Yeeahh… I don’t think Zecora liked having me around,” Rainbow Dash continued in a much softer voice than usual. “So I thought, if I wasn’t Rainbow Dash, I wouldn’t have to hide somewhere so dangerous. So that’s when I thought about Twilight’s transformation spell that she used before. But there was one problem. She would never use that on me again no matter how much I begged. She made that very clear the first time I asked her.”

Rainbow Dash paused for a moment, allowing her mind to focus on the feeling of that brush running along her coat. Fluttershy hadn’t responded yet, but Rainbow Dash could tell that she was listening. Fluttershy was just being Fluttershy and doing what she did best, taking care of the little animals that needed help. And right now, she was easing Rainbow Dash’s nerves.

“So I got Zecora to agree to help me, but I had to be the one to gather all the ingredients. The hardest part was getting a sample of the spell from that book. It would only work if I had transformed into that creature before, something about needing a sample of that form.”

Fluttershy moved the brush towards Rainbow Dash’s tail and started grooming it. Just like her mane, it was a mess, but not nearly as much. It would be much easier to realign the colors properly. Rainbow Dash took in a deep relaxing breath before she continued.

“Since this was my only option, that also meant that I couldn’t survive without somepony’s care, and the only pony I could turn to, was you Fluttershy.” Fluttershy blushed after hearing that comment, but she didn’t stop grooming Rainbow Dash’s tail. “I was afraid of what you might think of me if you ever found out about it though. I’m sorry I had to hide that from you, but now you know.” Rainbow Dash was really speaking her heart out to Fluttershy. It was rare for Rainbow Dash to open up like this. But that only showed just how painful her experience must have been.

Fluttershy paused her brushing to respond in a lovely tone. “Oh Rainbow Dash, you know you don’t have to worry about me. I’m happy to take you in and take care of you.” She started petting Rainbow Dash with her hoof, keeping her wing curled around the little breezie. “I’m your friend Rainbow Dash, and I would never judge you on what you want. If only you had come to me sooner, maybe you wouldn’t have been in such a bad condition.”

Rainbow Dash’s heart warmed up to the sound of that. Fluttershy was one of the only ponies, if not THE only pony she could share such sappy thoughts with without ever being judged. And Fluttershy was proving that again today. It was difficult for her to explain her story, but that didn’t change the fact that Fluttershy’s actions today made that so much easier.

Rainbow Dash relaxed into Fluttershy’s feathers as the outside breeze and sunshine soaked her body. There were almost no worries left in Rainbow Dash’s mind anymore. As long as no pony else found out about her presence and form, she would get the vacation she so desired. And right now, that was looking very likely.

“(Thank you so much, Fluttershy.)”

Weakness

The breeze outside was silent and calm. Rainbow Dash used this opportunity to practice her flying by hovering just above the lake waters using her breezie wings. She steadied herself, concentrating on keeping herself still in the center of the lake. Rainbow Dash’s form was now returned in its original breezie state, thanks to the help of Fluttershy. Her mane was back to its long and natural flowing form. Both her mane and tail had their colors fixed and realigned to their natural flow.

Fluttershy was supervising her little breezie friend Rainbow Dash nearby. Rainbow Dash was at the center of the lake, fighting the gentle breeze’s efforts to break her off course. A breezie’s wings made them very light and delicate. The slightest wind power would break them off course. Now, Rainbow Dash was trying to fight that fact.

“Be careful out there Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy acknowledged from a distance with a little worry.

While Rainbow Dash’s body had mostly recovered, some of it was still slightly sore. Most of the sore spots couldn’t be felt however due to the bandages that covered her body. There weren’t many bandages though and Rainbow Dash removed some of them for this exercise. They weren’t needed anymore after all, they only just helped.

*Pant* relax Fluttershy, *pant*, there’s nothing out here for me to hit but water,” Rainbow Dash responded while keeping herself still as the weak breeze blew on her wings.

*crash...*

A silent, yet clearly loud noise made itself audible in the distance. Rainbow Dash attempted to look up and check its source, but was interrupted when the breeze suddenly started blowing slightly harder.

“Grr…” Rainbow Dash attempted to fight off the strengthened breeze, but was unable to. Her stance was broken, and she was starting to get blown out of the center of the lake.

“Ahhah…”

“Oh no!” Fluttershy noticed Rainbow Dash’s struggles and flew across the lake to aid her. She gently caught the little breezie, tucking her safely in her forelegs. “Rainbow Dash, are you hurt?”

“Mmh, no, I’m okay Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash responded, holding onto Fluttershy’s forelegs. “What was that?” she asked, looking off into the distance to figure out what caused that noise. Fluttershy looked off too.

What they saw were a couple of pegasi attempting to break apart a storm cloud in the skies. It wasn’t going very well. The two pegasi appeared to be arguing with each other as they continuously got zapped by the storm cloud. Fluttershy started backing away, bringing her and Rainbow Dash back to land.

“Oh my…” Fluttershy put a hoof to her mouth as she looked at the scene.

“Looks like those pegasi need my help with the weather,” Rainbow Dash said as she climbed to the top of Fluttershy’s head.

“But Rainbow Dash, how can you help them?” Fluttershy asked.

“I can’t, remember Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash started as she rested on top of Fluttershy’s pink mane. “That was the whole problem. If I keep coming to help them, I’ll never get a break again.”

The two distant pegasi eventually managed to dissipate the storm cloud. The duo flew away from the scene, still bickering over each other as they went. Fluttershy looked back up to Rainbow Dash.

“How long does this potion last, Rainbow?” Fluttershy asked.

“Hmm? Oh, uh…” Rainbow Dash responded nervously while rubbing the back of her head. “It’s uh… permanent…”

“Permanent?!” Fluttershy responded with shock in her voice.

“A-at least until Zecora finds a cure for transformation spells.” Rainbow Dash corrected quickly. But Fluttershy was still concerned.

“B-but Rainbow Dash, does… does that mean it’s possible that there isn’t a cure?” Fluttershy panicked.

“Fluttershy, don’t say that,” Rainbow Dash responded back. “I’m sure Zecora will find that cure, but it’s not important right now. After all, I’m starting to get the hang of being a breezie, that’s all that matters right now, right?” Rainbow Dash smiled sheepishly.

Fluttershy did remember the whole reason why she chose to do this. She wanted a vacation, and this was the only way she found she could have it at the time. Rainbow Dash was enjoying it rather well, but Fluttershy was still worried that maybe Rainbow Dash didn’t think everything through.

“Besides, if the worst comes to pass, Twilight can always turn me back whenever she wants. …But if that happens, I’m doomed when she learns I ‘borrowed’ her book without asking,” Rainbow Dash finished glumly.

While this was sad for Rainbow Dash to reveal, Fluttershy brightened up at that revelation. It meant that nothing really was permanent by force. All that mattered was that Rainbow Dash was safe and happy.

The breeze started to pick up some more. The duo looked off in the distance to find more clouds being moved around by additional pegasi. It looked like weather duties were picking up and more in motion.

“Um, Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash said after getting a good look at the scene. “Let’s go back inside. It looks like we’re due for a little rain today.” Fluttershy nodded and turned away from the scene to head back to the cottage.

While Fluttershy was walking, Rainbow Dash took this opportunity to practice her flying some more. She removed herself off of Fluttershy’s mane and hovered above, following Fluttershy closely while fighting the wind. Although it wasn’t as much as fighting the wind as it was using the wind. The breeze was currently blowing in the direction she was flying in, but a little too hard. Fluttershy noticed this and was growing concerned.

“Rainbow Dash, are you sure you should be practicing right now?” Fluttershy asked.

“Fluttershy, *pant* if I don’t keep practicing, I’ll never get used to flying outside,” Rainbow Dash responded.

“I know, but you’re still weak. Maybe you should rest a little longer?” Fluttershy cautiously requested. “It’s just, even the tiniest things out here are dangerous, to you…”

Rainbow Dash thought about what Fluttershy said. It didn’t sound like Fluttershy was against her decision to try and face the breeze as a breezie, Fluttershy was just looking out for her safety. She just didn’t want to see Rainbow Dash hurt herself. It was just another side of Fluttershy’s animal caring instincts.

“Yeah… you’re right,” Rainbow Dash decided as she floated back to Fluttershy’s mane. She decided to start removing the rest of the bandages on her body as a result. “I just don’t want to be grounded when I’m outside.” Rainbow Dash suddenly thought of something. She bent over the edge of Fluttershy’s head to look at her directly. “Hold on, how did you even find me inside the Everfree Forest?”

“I didn’t,” Fluttershy responded a little confused. “I found you just outside the entrance, stuck in a bush.”

“Huh…” Rainbow Dash lifted herself back up and rubbed the side of her head while she thought. “Maybe it was part of the spell. When the potion was complete, I passed out. Next thing I know, I was looking at you. But she never told me about that…”

“Maybe Zecora transported you out while you were asleep?” Fluttershy suggested.

“Maybe… but I never told her where I wanted to go…” Rainbow Dash shuttered at the thought that Zecora had possibly read her mind. She let her bandages ride the wind as they were removed. She no longer needed them.

______________________________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was now entering the pathway that led to her cottage. Rainbow Dash took a look at the scene while riding on Fluttershy’s mane. It looked like all the animals were happily eating their food that Fluttershy had given them at some point. It was quite amazing how Fluttershy was able to attend to them so easily. Some of these animals had learned how to take care of themselves, as long as they had the food that Fluttershy had provided.

Fluttershy loved taking care of these little critters, but sometimes other critters just needed more attention at the time, like when one of them got hurt, sick, or were just more sensitive. This way, she could attend to them without any complications. Her animals understood completely when the times came.

“Rainbow Dash, I have one more question,” Fluttershy stated as they neared the front door of the cottage. “Is Tank still at home?”

“Hmm?” Rainbow Dash was a little distracted by the carefree animals that were outside the cottage, currently taking care of themselves. But the mention of Tank caught her attention. “Oh, nah, Bulk Biceps needed a training partner.”

“…Bulk Bice-…” Fluttershy got rather confused by that statement. “What does he have to do with Tank?”

______________________________________________________________________________

The crowd was cheering wildly around the built in stadium inside a home in the skies! In the left corner, the owner of the home and stadium stood; a large and bulky white pegasus with small wings, Bulk Biceps!

“YEAAAHH!!!”

And in the right corner stands a small green tortoise with a helicopter rotor on his shell, Tank!

Tank held his head high in the air with a smile.

*Ring!*

The bell rang and the battle commenced! Bulk Biceps charged forth with all his might, screaming at the top of his lungs! Tank started his magical propelled rotor, bringing him slowly in the air! But he didn’t gain much altitude before his opponent came within range! Tank withdrew his head and legs just before his opponent attacked! Bulk Biceps struck the shell of the tortoise, knocking the rotor right off of his shell, and sending the tortoise flying away!

“YEAAAHHH!!!”

The tortoise impacted a wall and bounced right off of it, flying straight back towards Bulk Biceps! The shell collided directly at Bulk Biceps face! The poor bulky pegasus didn’t stand a chance against its might! He was knocked to the ground with its force! Tank’s shell was lunged in the air upon impact, spinning about! His spinning was halted when he brought his head and legs out of his shell, now on a collision course for Bulk Biceps belly! Tank landed brutally on Bulk Biceps stomach, causing his legs to fling agonizingly in the air! The force of that strike knocked him out cold!

*Ring, ring, ring, ring!*

“KO! And the winner is, Tank!”

The crowd cheered wildly as the referee gave their verdict!

______________________________________________________________________________

“You don’t want to know,” Rainbow Dash stated.

Fluttershy had no idea what Rainbow Dash was talking about, but to her it sounded like Tank was currently under the care of somepony else.

Fluttershy reached the front door to her cottage and proceeded to open it. As soon as it opened however, a huge gust of wind blew out of the cottage, causing Fluttershy’s mane to fly back, making Rainbow Dash get blown away.

“Who-oa!” Rainbow Dash panicked as she was blown away.

“Ahh! Angel, turn that off!” Fluttershy yelled as she hung onto her mane, attempting to push against the wind and get inside.

Angel was seen apparently drying himself off with a large oversized fan. He held a small towel around his waist, standing his ground while the fan blew on his fur.

Fluttershy managed to reach the obnoxious device and turned it off, halting the winds and silencing the area. Angel quickly fled the scene when he noticed Fluttershy.

*Pant, pant* are you okay little one?” Fluttershy asked as she felt through her mane to check on her little breezie friend. “Rainbow?” Fluttershy couldn’t find her. “Oh no…” Fluttershy wasted no time in dashing out of the cottage in search for her friend. “Rainbow Dash?!”

“Ungh…” Fluttershy heard a silent grunt nearby along with a bit of rustling. It sounded like it came from the top of the tree that was near the front entrance of the cottage. She quickly flew up there to check.

Indeed the source was exactly who she was looking for.

“Rainbow Dash, oh thank goodness!” Rainbow Dash was found trapped within the leaves and twigs that covered the tree. “Are you okay, Rainbow Dash?”

“Urgh, yeah, I’m fine,” Rainbow Dash said annoyed while attempting to get herself free. “I’m just hanging from this tree… and stuck… thanks to that ‘adsedjatohuko vihrucc’!”

“Rainbow Dash! Language!” Fluttershy shouted while giving Rainbow Dash a firm look.

“Yes Fluttershy!...” Rainbow Dash said quickly, nearly regretting in trying to use the breezie language to hide her words while trying to insult that bunny. That look had struck fear into Rainbow Dash’s heart. If there was anything she didn’t want to do at the moment, it was upsetting Fluttershy in any way.

“Here, let me help you out of there,” Fluttershy stated as she brought her hooves towards the leaves and twigs, carefully moving them off of Rainbow Dash’s large and delicate wings. Fortunately there appeared to be no harm done to her.

______________________________________________________________________________

Fluttershy had returned Rainbow Dash back inside the cottage. It was just as Rainbow Dash said; they were due for a rainy weather today. The clouds were starting to fill the skies and the breeze outside wouldn’t be so gentle anymore. All of Fluttershy’s animals had taken the liberty to seal themselves inside their dens, houses, or even inside the cottage while the storm passed. But after seeing the way those two pegasi earlier were acting, Rainbow Dash predicted that there was going to be a rather rough storm today instead.

Unfortunately whether the prediction meant outside or inside the cottage was now in question.

“(I saw what that bunny tried to do and I’m not happy about it!)” Rainbow Dash yelled in the breezie language. She and Angel were standing next to each other as they looked upon their caretaker. Fluttershy had taken the liberty to bring them together in the living room for a quick discussion.

“Now now, that was an accident. Angel didn’t mean to hurt you, right sweetie?” Fluttershy defended, but Angel kept his stern look at Fluttershy regardless. He made no attempt to neither confirm nor deny his actions.

“(Well I don’t trust him, that bunny has to have something against me,)” Rainbow Dash attempted to say under her breath. She didn’t want Fluttershy to hear what she had to say, and more importantly didn’t want Angel to understand what she was saying, but Fluttershy responded anyway.

“Would it help if Angel apologizes?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash looked back at Fluttershy attempting to answer, but Fluttershy didn’t need any saying to continue on. “Say you’re sorry, Angel,” Fluttershy told Angel as she directed her attention to him.

Angel paused for a moment before directing his attention to the cyan breezie that nearly matched his size. He took one hop closer to her, bowed his head for a split second before bringing it back up, and then hopped back.

“(Was that his way of apologizing?)” Rainbow Dash silently thought out loud. Fluttershy seemed to think so though.

“There,” Fluttershy said as she directed her attention to Rainbow Dash. “Now does that make you feel better?”

Rainbow Dash didn’t respond. Instead she adjusted her eyes to take a slight glance back at Angel. That bunny still had that smug look on his face.

“Come on, please?” Fluttershy pleaded softly. “At least try to get along, you two are quite similar after all.”

“(What?)” Rainbow Dash gagged. “(Me, similar with him? No way.)”

“Pretty please?” Fluttershy pleaded again with a cuter expression. Rainbow Dash became uneasy with that look staring into her soul. She just couldn’t resist that face, and her current form wasn’t helping the matter.

“(*Sigh* okay Fluttershy, I’ll try,)” Rainbow Dash said, giving in. Fluttershy’s heart jumped for joy at that response.

“Oh thank you. Now, why don’t I start preparing dinner for you two?” Fluttershy stated as she glanced out the window. The rain had already started. “It looks like there won’t be any more time outside today, and it’s getting late.”

Both Rainbow Dash and Angel brightened at the mention of food, but Angel darted towards the kitchen before either of them had a chance to say more.

“Looks like someone is hungry,” Fluttershy stated as she watched the energetic bunny hurrying along. Rainbow Dash would have gone too, but she decided to stick behind. There was something bothering her and she wanted to fix that. Rainbow Dash used her wings to hover her body over to Fluttershy’s head while Fluttershy was casually walking towards the kitchen. Rainbow Dash moved up to Fluttershy’s ear and whispered.

“By the way, Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash started, “Angel already knows who I am.”

Fluttershy could only blush in embarrassment upon that revelation.

______________________________________________________________________________

Dinner had been prepared smoothly and without complications. Rainbow Dash and Angel were seated next to each other on the floor with identical sets of food that fit both of their likings. Fluttershy was seated at a small table desk next to the pair. She had prepared a hot soup for herself, seeing as the weather outside was starting to pick up. Hard rain and lightning storms could be heard outside.

*crash…*

Rainbow Dash and Angel were given a small bowl served with a mixture of cherries and sliced pieces of carrots. The carrots were practically bite size for Rainbow Dash, so she was chomping them down like chips and nachos, using the cherries as a juice break to down them easier. Angel was eating similarly to how Rainbow Dash was eating, but not one by one. He gathered his food into small piles and nibbled down on them like they weren’t sliced.

*Crash*

Fluttershy happily enjoyed watching them eat like wild animals. It was just too cute for her to resist. She was eating much slower than the duo in front of her, mostly due to the fact that her soup was hot, but now due to being engrossed by these two’s eating habit.

*Crash!*

Angel got startled when that last lightning bolt struck loudly outside, accidently squeezing the juices from the cherry he was holding and squirted it on his face. He stumbled and shut his eyes closed, attempting to wipe it off. Angel waved his paw around, attempting to find something to wipe off his face. He grabbed something that felt like a string, tugging it hard.

“Ahh!” A sharp pain ran through Rainbow Dash’s head. “Angel stop, let go!” Angel was tugging on one of Rainbow Dash’s antennas, causing them both to stumble at the mishap. Rainbow Dash accidently spilled her food bowl when Angel tugged her closer to him, blindly. “Let go!” Rainbow Dash shoved Angel away, causing him to stumble a few steps back before falling to the ground.

*Crash*

Angel did not like that. He quickly picked himself back up and charged blindly towards Rainbow Dash, knocking her down.

“Oh dear,” Fluttershy became fearful of the situation. “Oh, please stop fighting you two.” Fluttershy attempted to break up the fight, but the two critters couldn’t hear her.

Rainbow Dash retaliated by flipping herself over, bringing Angel under her. Angel kicked Rainbow Dash off of her.

*crash…* While the battle progressed, the thundering outside the cottage continued on.

“Angel, stop.”

Rainbow Dash scooped up some of the spilled food and went airborne. She may have been a breezie and her wings may have been delicate, but that didn’t stop her from being able to fight back in some ways. She started throwing the carrot slices at Angel.

“Rainbow, please?”

Angel dodged the carrot slices and retaliated by picking up other spilled food from the ground and started throwing them at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash dodged them as well. Rainbow Dash and Angel both threw one last cherry at each other at the same time. They narrowly passed through each other and hit their targets. Both Rainbow Dash and Angel were hit in the face with their projectile weapons.

*Crash*

“Oh no, stop please? Someone’s going to get hurt…” Fluttershy’s words just could not reach the two wild animals.

Rainbow Dash floated back towards the ground while Angel charged for her. Their faces were covered with the red liquid that marked their little war. As soon as Angel came close, Rainbow Dash moved out of the way, causing Angel to smash into one of the legs of the wooden table, causing it to crack. The table lost its balance and was about to crumble.

“Angel!” Fluttershy immediately reacted to the scene. She brought herself down toward the broken leg of the table, stopping the table from crashing on top of Angel. But the table tilted just enough for Fluttershy’s hot soup to slide off the table, spilling its hot contents on top of Fluttershy’s head.

*Crash!*

The dispute between Rainbow Dash and Angel halted immediately. Angel quickly moved away from the scene.

“Oh no!...” Rainbow Dash cracked her voice as her heart sank to a bottomless pit, noticing the situation that had just occurred. “F-fluttershy, a-are you okay?” she asked carefully.

It looked like Fluttershy was hurting not only from the heat of the soup, but also because of the fighting. Her eyes were closed, but it was clear that she had a really disappointed and cringe-like look on her face when she removed herself from the damaged table, making sure to set it carefully in a safe position. The soup dripped along her face.

When Fluttershy opened her eyes, she looked directly at Rainbow Dash and Angel. Rainbow Dash could feel nothing but guilt upon seeing those eyes. It appeared to be affecting Angel as well. Even that bunny had a look of fear on his face upon seeing those eyes.

“It looks like dinner time, is over…” *Crash* Fluttershy stated while she removed the bowl off her head. Her tone was calm, but her disappointment was clear. Fluttershy looked over to Angel first. Angel fled the scene as if Fluttershy had just silently told him to go to his room. With Angel gone, she turned her attention to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash just couldn’t find the words to use. She slumped down silently as she processed the event that had just occurred. Rainbow Dash had failed to meet Fluttershy’s request in getting along with Angel and instead just made it worse. The worst part was that now, Fluttershy was suffering for it.

“Rainbow, come…” Fluttershy stated calmly as she turned away and started walking. Rainbow Dash obeyed, using her wings to go airborne. She kept her head low as she silently followed closely next to Fluttershy. They seemed to be going upstairs to Fluttershy’s room.

*crash…*

______________________________________________________________________________

The storm outside had settled down and things were much more quiet. Rain could still be heard falling, but the thundering seemed to have stopped. Night had fallen and the atmosphere was very unsettling to Rainbow Dash. They were currently in Fluttershy’s room on the second floor of the cottage with Rainbow Dash standing at a desk near the bed. The only thing that kept the room lit was the candle light that was behind Rainbow Dash on the other side of the desk. Fluttershy had since cleaned herself off of all the contents that her soup had contained. She was now wiping the red liquid off of Rainbow Dash’s breezie body using a moist rag.

This was very reminiscent of what happened yesterday, only it wasn’t as relaxing as before. Rainbow Dash tried to relax as the small rag rubbed softly against her coat, but all she could feel was sorrow and regret. Fluttershy wasn’t even saying anything. It felt so wrong for it to be like this.

As Fluttershy finished cleaning Rainbow Dash off and removed the rag away from her, Rainbow Dash looked up to her, trying to say something, anything that could make this all better.

“Fluttershy, I-… I’m sorry…” Rainbow Dash stuttered. Fluttershy brought a hoof to Rainbow Dash’s cheek while giving that innocent smile.

“It’s okay, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy calmly responded.

“But Fluttershy, it’s not okay, don’t you see?” Rainbow Dash withdrew herself from Fluttershy’s contact and turned around in shame. “I tried to get along with Angel like you wanted me to. But instead I just made it worse,” Rainbow Dash sighed and kicked softly at the desk with her foreleg. “The worst part is, you were the one who had to suffer for it. It’s my fault…”

“Rainbow Dash, it was an accident, it’s not your fault,” Fluttershy defended.

“Of course it was my fault, Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash retaliated as she turned back around to face Fluttershy. “If I hadn’t started that fight, you wouldn’t have gotten burned and we’d still be eating!”

“Rainbow Dash, I’m fine,” Fluttershy continued calmly. “You didn’t mean for this to happen the way it did. It wasn’t your fault and it wasn’t Angel’s fault either.”

“Then whose fault was it then?” Rainbow Dash attempted to end the conversation.

“It was my fault,” Fluttershy admitted as she pointed a hoof to herself.

This response took Rainbow Dash off guard. She really didn’t like that response at all. Why should Fluttershy have to be the one to take the blame for what she did? There were only three witnesses and they all clearly saw what happened. There was no reason for Fluttershy to take the blame over something like this. Rainbow Dash couldn’t accept Fluttershy’s revelation. She had to respond.

“No Fluttershy, I can’t let you do that,” Rainbow Dash started as she turned away again. “I can’t let you take the blame for something you didn’t do. This was my fault, and I’m gonna do what’s right. I have to- owhoa!” Rainbow Dash’s monologue was halted when she felt her whole body get forced around on her back and pinned to the desk. Both sets of her wings were restrained flat on the desk by both of Fluttershy’s hooves. “Fluttersh-AAHHAHAHA!!!”

Fluttershy forced her muzzle to press onto Rainbow Dash’s belly. She blew on the little breezie’s belly, tickling her with the force of her breath. Rainbow Dash couldn’t keep her laughter in. She tried to push Fluttershy’s muzzle away, but to no avail. Her legs could only slide softly along Fluttershy’s muzzle as she continued buzzing on Rainbow Dash’s belly. Fluttershy inhaled more air and released it onto Rainbow Dash’s belly, neglecting to release contact.

The pressure Fluttershy put on Rainbow Dash’s wings made it impossible for her to escape. Her lack of strength due to the laughter and her breezie form made it impossible to resist. Fluttershy continued forcing breaths onto Rainbow Dash’s belly, tickling her with no mercy. Fluttershy paused for a second to speak, but she didn’t move her muzzle and the breath from Fluttershy’s voice didn’t stop the tickling.

“Rainbow Dash, don’t ever say that, don’t even think like that!”

“AAHHHAHAHAHH, AHA, AHA!!!” Fluttershy’s breaths continued stimulating Rainbow Dash’s sensitive pressure points. She was blowing harder, making Rainbow Dash’s tickle torture be all the more prominent. Fluttershy couldn’t help but giggle in between breaths at the way Rainbow Dash was acting. Rainbow Dash could even feel the giggles itself coming from Fluttershy’s breath.

Fluttershy took one of her wings and used the tip of it to slide along Rainbow Dash’s tiny neck. The feathers on that wing stimulated more pressure points, causing more laughter to commence from the tiny cyan breezie. She couldn’t even open her eyes now; the torture was just too much.

Fluttershy pressed her lips together, putting more force onto Rainbow Dash’s belly. She gave a big kiss as she removed her muzzle away from Rainbow Dash’s belly, but moved the tip of her feathers to slide along her belly, keeping her other wing’s feather tips to sliding softly on Rainbow Dash’s neck. The torture was less prominent, but the tickling did not stop, she still couldn’t stop laughing. Fluttershy was giggling at the scene, gently moving both wing tips along Rainbow Dash’s body. Fluttershy continued her speech.

“Rainbow Dash, everything that happens here is my fault. Do you know why?” Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash’s tiny little limbs that were sprawled in the air. They stretched as if they were desperately trying to grab onto something. Fluttershy slightly opened her mouth, bringing her muzzle gently towards the right hind leg of the little breezie. She bit down on the hind limb, gently causing it to squish.

Rainbow Dash felt no pain, only more ticklish torture. Her hind leg was being played around with, helpless to defend itself. Fluttershy gently pulled on the limb, creating more pressure. With Rainbow Dash’s wings stuck to the desk thanks to Fluttershy’s hooves, her body could not be removed. With her right hind leg being gently tugged on by Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash’s torture intensified.

Fluttershy played around with the limb by moving it around, tugging it gently in different directions, squishing it around playfully. Rainbow Dash’s laughter resulted in bringing tears to her eyes. It felt like if Fluttershy were to pull hard enough, her limb would come off, but it was nothing more than a tease.

Fluttershy removed her grip on Rainbow Dash’s right hind leg, causing it to slightly thrust back. She also stopped the slow movement of her feathers sliding along Rainbow Dash’s body. Rainbow Dash had a chance to calm her laughter down. Fluttershy just couldn’t contain her smiles and giggles from the scene. Her little breezie friend was just being too cute; she couldn’t help but blush her smile so much that her cheeks were starting to hurt. Fluttershy continued her speech as Rainbow Dash tried calming down her breathing.

“It’s because I am your caretaker, and you are my little breezie. You are my responsibility. If I can’t keep you under control, I fail my duty in teaching you how to behave. Taking care of animals is my responsibility, and you are no exception you cute little thing you…” Fluttershy moved her wing tips away and brought her muzzle back to Rainbow Dash’s belly, blowing an even stronger raspberry.

“DAAAHAAHAHAHH, AHHAHA!!!” Rainbow Dash couldn’t recover fast enough to respond at all. The raspberry she was receiving just tickled her to the core. Fluttershy was blowing onto Rainbow Dash’s belly so hard that small drops of Fluttershy’s saliva were being squirted and splashed out in between her mouth and the belly.

Fluttershy brought her lips together again, putting another kiss to Rainbow Dash’s belly. The kisses were making Rainbow Dash try to contract her belly in an attempt to avoid the kisses. It wasn’t helping; the kisses were only tickling her even more. Fluttershy then switched from kissing to blowing. The force from her breath, the pressure from her kisses, Rainbow Dash’s belly was sensitive to both interactions, but in very different ways. Her attempts to get away had either failed, or made the sensitivity of her stomach worse, allowing the tickling to become more prominent. She was on the verge of passing out.

Meanwhile Angel was standing from a distance, watching the scene unfold. He looked rather displeased at what was happening. He couldn’t watch this anymore, so he hopped away from the scene, heading to his own little den.

______________________________________________________________________________

Returning to a single room within his den, located somewhere within the cottage, Angel rummaged through his supplies, pulling out what looked to be a personal journal. Placing it on a stand next to his bed, he opened to the second page, took out his edible carrot pen, and started writing on it.

“Journal entry #2:

Yesterday, I had discovered that one of mama’s friends had turned herself into a breezie. I couldn’t believe it when it happened, but it turned out to be true. I even had dinner with her. Mama wants me to get better along with her. I didn’t think that would be possible, but that food fight had to be the most fun I’ve had in ages. My tail just couldn’t stop tingling at the adrenaline that rushed through my body as I fought and threw and…”

Angel paused for a second as he realized what he was writing. He got a bit too excited and ignored his pride. Giggling slightly, he checked around the room briefly before crossing out that last line.

My tail just couldn’t stop tingling at the adrenaline that rushed through my body as I fought and threw and
Yes, she sure was fun to play around with. I just thought that I could make fun of her weak form while she had it. But after experiencing that food fight, I can see that she isn’t so weak after all. But she’s going to have to get used to that form if I want to have more fun with her. But mama is being too soft on her. If mama continues this charade, she’ll never push herself harder, and she’ll never succeed in being able to fly against the breeze. I must make sure she has a reason to push herself. Only she can prove to mama that a breezie can master the ability to take care of themselves without supervision. I must make that happen, but I can’t be too hard, otherwise she’ll get seriously injured, or mama will give me that terrifying look, or she’ll be injured and mama will give me that look at the same time! But I must do this. I can’t let her be too soft. This will be difficult, but I’m willing to see this through.

P.S. Mama, I’m so sorry that I spilled that soup on you. I didn’t mean to. I hope you can forgive me. I wish there was a way to make it up to you, but it looks like you have your friend for that this time. I hope you’re okay.”

Angel smiled as he made the finishing statements in his journal. He quickly looked over his surroundings before hiding the journal back in his stash. He took a bite out of the carrot pen he used, getting a taste of the edible red sauce from its tip that was used for writing. After that quick bite, he threw the rest of the carrot away, hopped over to his bed, and plopped himself down, falling asleep.

______________________________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash was gasping for breath, lying on her back with her limbs sprawled flat on Fluttershy’s desk. The tickle torture had stopped. Fluttershy had made her point. She gently took Rainbow Dash in her hooves and flew her over to her bed. Rainbow Dash had no way of arguing back at Fluttershy’s claims. She forced the blame on herself and there was just nothing Rainbow Dash could do about it.

Fluttershy gently set Rainbow Dash down on the pillow of her bed, lying on her back. Rainbow Dash was too tired from the torture to open her eyes, so she settled down the way Fluttershy positioned her with an exhausted smile on her face. She continued panting, but was much more relaxed now, except her left hind leg couldn’t stop twitching.

Fluttershy noticed the twitching limb and couldn’t help but giggle. She must’ve been struggling to recover from that shocking experience. She decided to help out. Fluttershy pressed her hooves on the little breezie wings again and brought her muzzle forward. Focusing on just her left hind limb, Fluttershy gently clenched on the limb with her teeth, tugging on it slightly.

“…hhhaaaa…” Rainbow Dash couldn’t help but moan at the pleasure of the gentle touch. It wasn’t like the tickly feeling from before, but instead, a relaxing one. The pleasure rose when Fluttershy gently squeezed on her hind limb, playfully tugging it around. The feelings that her limbs had were very different than usual. It wasn’t like her hooves. She sometimes forgot that her hooves probably weren’t even hooves anymore. But she loved the feeling.

Fluttershy released her grip on Rainbow Dash’s tiny left hind leg, causing it to slightly thrust back. That treatment caused it to stop twitching. Rainbow Dash was fully relaxed now, so she snuggled into the pillow that she was lying on. Fluttershy removed herself from Rainbow Dash. She blew out the candle light that was set at the desk before carefully slipping into bed with Rainbow Dash, tucking both herself and her breezie friend with the same blanket.

Fluttershy turned her head to look over Rainbow Dash again. She appeared to be reaching out for something, but it didn’t take her long to find it. Rainbow Dash had taken one of the two large strands of Fluttershy’s pink mane into her forelegs. It was so smooth and soft to the touch. Rainbow Dash never opened her eyes as she snuggled with the pink mane. Fluttershy was overjoyed by the scene. Rainbow Dash had never acted so cute like this in her whole life. She could no longer tell whether she or Rainbow Dash was happier at this point.

“You know something, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy whispered to Rainbow Dash as she curled a hoof around her little breezie body. “I still think you need a name. You’re just too cute to not have one. But, you don’t have to have a name if you don’t want to. I understand if you don’t. You can tell me whenever you’re ready.”

Fluttershy brought her muzzle to Rainbow Dash’s forehead and kissed her a good night’s sleep. Fluttershy took one last good look at Rainbow Dash’s happy sleeping form. She was content with what she had, keeping her little pet breezie close in her foreleg. Fluttershy slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

“Good night, Rainbow Dash.”

Rainbow Dash still had her eyes closed, snugging the strand of that pink mane in her sleep, but she had been listening to what Fluttershy was saying to her. She didn’t really care if any of the other animals in Fluttershy’s care had recognized her. She didn’t even care if Tank had learned about her form either. But she did care if other ponies had found out.

Rainbow Dash wasn’t exactly fond of the idea of having a pet name for Fluttershy to use for her on a regular basis, but she did have to admit, having one would be convenient if she were to be around other ponies with Fluttershy.

But Rainbow Dash couldn’t decide this now. She was more surprised by how well this vacation was turning out for her. The tasks that she had done to make this possible were proving to be much more worth it than she ever expected. Rainbow Dash had thought that the pampering that Fluttershy would have made to her while she was a breezie would be humiliating. But so far, she really liked the pampering.

Rainbow Dash’s breezie state must have changed all sorts of feelings to her body. She felt sensitivities and relaxations she never thought she could feel. And her breezie instincts allowed her to enjoy the feelings over her own pride.

Rainbow Dash was now highly considering continuing to be Fluttershy’s pet for much longer than she intended. All she wanted was a vacation from her stress and exhaustion, and she received so much more. The best part was, Fluttershy seemed to really enjoy her company and taking care of her. Even after she messed things up with Angel, Fluttershy was still happy to have her.

Taking all this in, Rainbow Dash had no more regrets in her mind right now. She was looking forward to tomorrow, a day without any more stress.

“(Good night, Fluttershy.)”

*Chirp, chirp…*

The beautiful sounds of birds chirping in the morning had awakened Fluttershy from her slumber. These birds were most likely the ones that lived with her, so that made the sounds more pleasant. The chirping also meant that the storm from last night was most likely over as well. Fluttershy gave off a deep yawn as she rubbed her eyes awake.

While Fluttershy was lifting her head up, she felt a soft weight tugging on one of the strands of her pink mane. When she looked down to its source, she could see a little cyan breezie snuggling on it in her sleep.

Fluttershy smiled at the sight of how cute Rainbow Dash looked right now. She looked so relaxed and content the way she was, but Fluttershy had to get up right now, which meant she had to get Rainbow Dash up as well.

“Raaiiinbow Daaash…” Fluttershy spoke softly in a sing songy voice, using her muzzle to gently nuzzle the sleeping Rainbow Dash.

“…Mmmh…” Rainbow Dash slowly shifted in her sleep, but showed no signs of waking up. She just continued snuggling on the pink mane she was holding.

“Come on, Rainbow,” Fluttershy said softly again as she slowly slid the pink strand out of Rainbow Dash’s grip. “It’s time to get up.”

“…Mmh… five… more… minutes… mmh…” Rainbow Dash mumbled as her limbs reached out ahead of her, searching for something to grab onto.

Fluttershy closed her eyes and shook her head slightly. She’s had to deal with this sort of behavior before.

“Oh, Rainbow Dash, you know what happens to pets who disobey me,” Fluttershy warned her.

Rainbow Dash still wasn’t listening. She was so comfortable right now that she didn’t want to move from her spot. She wanted to keep resting like this because she didn’t know when she would have this sort of chance again.

Fluttershy however assured her that she would definitely be kept rested and healthy like this for a long time to come, but she had to get up right now, or she wouldn’t get it.

Actually, she was going to get it.

*Pfft!* “AAAHAHAHAAAHAHA!!!” Fluttershy immediately placed her muzzle onto Rainbow Dash’s belly, blowing on it roughly, causing Rainbow Dash to get tickled again. She tried pushing Fluttershy’s muzzle away from her with her limbs, but they could only slide along it. “AAHAHAH… OKAY, HAHA… I’M UP, HHH… I’M UP!!!”

Fluttershy ceased her blowing and removed her muzzle away from Rainbow Dash, giving off a blushing smile, giggling a bit.. Rainbow Dash panted slightly as she opened her eyes to look up at Fluttershy. But her limbs stayed sprawled across the bed. Her limbs were struggling to recover due to Fluttershy’s actions.

“That’s a good Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy stated as she brushed a hoof on Rainbow Dash’s mane. “Just remember to listen to me, and I won’t have to do this to you.” Fluttershy placed her muzzle back onto Rainbow Dash’s belly, but instead of blowing on it, she started giving it gentle kisses.

“Ahahahaah… ahahahaa…” Rainbow Dash’s belly contracted and retracted with each kiss. The contact wasn’t nearly as bad as the raspberry, but it still tickled a bit. “…Ohokahahay Fluhuttershyhyhy… I’ll, hah, I’ll behave.” Fluttershy left one last extended smooch on Rainbow Dash’s belly before moving her muzzle away. Rainbow Dash panted heavily trying to recover from that contact. Her limbs were stuck over her body while she tried speaking. “*pant, pant…* I’m sorry, Fluttershy, *pant* I’ll behave…”

Fluttershy smiled brightly at Rainbow Dash. “Good, let’s get you up then you cute little thing!” Fluttershy held out a hoof towards Rainbow Dash’s limbs. Rainbow Dash latched onto Fluttershy’s hoof, allowing her to lift Rainbow Dash off of the bed. Fluttershy brought Rainbow Dash over her head, allowing Rainbow Dash to get settled into her mane while they started their morning routines.

After fixing up her own bed looks, Fluttershy started tending to Rainbow Dash’s bed looks. Fluttershy used her hoof as a way to keep a small pool of water for Rainbow Dash to use to wash her face. While Rainbow Dash was doing that, Fluttershy used some of her wing tips to dab some small cloths on Rainbow Dash’s cheeks. Very small particles of powder left her wake as she was dabbed.

While they were fixing their morning looks, Fluttershy decided to bring a topic up.

“So, Rainbow Dash, how does having a cute little pet name sound?” Fluttershy asked. Before Rainbow Dash responded, she sucked in a mouth full of water from Fluttershy’s hoof. She swished the water around in her mouth a few times before spitting it out in the sink in front of them.

“I don’t know, Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash responded after emptying her mouth. “I don’t feel very comfortable being called something cute and adorable…”

“But, Rainbow Dash, you ARE cute and adorable,” Fluttershy said as she proceeded to lift Rainbow Dash closer towards the mirror to get a good look at herself. Rainbow Dash made an audible and depressing moan as she saw herself. She could only look away as her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. She already had to deal with the name ‘Dashie’ from time to time already. Even though she got used to it, she wasn’t so fond of the idea of having another one.

Rainbow Dash couldn’t say much on the subject because of how vulnerable she felt right now. Fluttershy noticed that Rainbow Dash was getting rather uncomfortable, so she decided not to press the subject.

“It’s okay, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy started as she proceeded to gently pat Rainbow Dash on the head. “If you change your mind, you’re free to tell me anytime. I won’t ask you anymore, okay?”

Rainbow Dash’s mood brightened up at this mention. She was feeling very vulnerable right now that she was glad she didn’t have to deal with more pressure. But now she felt like Fluttershy’s kindness was just too much right now. She wanted to make it up somehow.

“Thanks, Fluttershy.”

*Ring, ring* “Breakfast time!” Fluttershy announced as she rang a bell positioned at the ceiling of her cottage. The ringing sound of the bell alerted many animals both inside and outside of the cottage to come scurrying to the living room.

“Hey Fluttershy, can I do the honors?” Rainbow Dash asked. She was currently standing on the shelves that contained many containers of food that were meant for the animals. Fluttershy was hovering close by, smiling at Rainbow Dash at the offer.

“Go ahead, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said.

“Alright!” Rainbow Dash shouted in joy as she went airborne. She allowed herself to move back a bit before thrusting her wings to move herself forward. She used the force of her push to allow a box of chopped celery sticks to be knocked over, letting its contents spill on the floor, allowing the animals to gather around and eat away at its contents.

Fluttershy motioned her hoof towards another set of feeds, leading Rainbow Dash on. Rainbow Dash followed Fluttershy’s gestures, looking towards a bowl of acorns. Rainbow Dash let her wings drop her on one side of the bowl, allowing her limbs to press against the edge of the bowl and cause it to tip over, letting the acorns spill to the floor where the animals could get to it.

This process repeated with multiple feeds that were proper for the animal species. They already understood which food was theirs, so there was no need for Fluttershy to organize them. Fluttershy continued leading Rainbow Dash on with blowing down some leaves, cutting bags of bird seed, and even slicing chunks of cheese, using the necessary utensils.

Feeding the animals was not something Rainbow Dash was good at, but Fluttershy was an expert at. All she had to do was lead Rainbow Dash on what she had to do and she could get it done. It normally wouldn’t be a very fun activity to do, but finding ways to make their jobs fun was a great way to get them done. During all of this though, Rainbow Dash was curious about something.

“Say, Fluttershy, how are you gonna have time to get breakfast ready for us?” Rainbow Dash asked as she let one last leaf float gently down from the shelf.

“Oh, I already made breakfast,” Fluttershy stated. “It’s right over there, see?” Fluttershy pointed a hoof towards the kitchen area. There was a plate on the table that had toast on it with a side of hay bacon.

“Huh, when did you have time to make that?” Rainbow Dash asked as she looked at Fluttershy. “I was with you the whole time.”

“No you weren’t,” Fluttershy stated casually while she flew towards the front doors of the cottage.

“Huh?” Rainbow Dash confusingly rubbed the back of her head while she watched Fluttershy flying away from her.

“You can go and have some while I tend to the animals outside, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy stated casually with a smile. Rainbow Dash couldn’t find a way to reply before Fluttershy was already outside. Rainbow Dash looked towards the table, then back at the door. She could swear that she was with Fluttershy that whole time, yet she still found time to make breakfast without Rainbow Dash’s notice.

In the end, Rainbow Dash decided to shrug it off. It wasn’t important to her right now. Fluttershy was outside now, so all Rainbow Dash could do now was have a little breakfast. She made her way to fly over towards the kitchen table.

Given her form, Rainbow Dash knew that she couldn’t eat it all herself, so she assumed Fluttershy was going to have whatever she didn’t eat. It was either that or the pieces that were meant for Rainbow Dash was sitting on the side of the plate or something.

But as Rainbow Dash landed on the table that had the plate of toast and hay bacon, something else came up on top of the table. It was the stubborn white rabbit again.

“Angel?” Rainbow Dash eyed him as he casually hopped closer towards the other side of the plate on the table from Rainbow Dash. He crossed his forearms around with a smile as he looked back at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash slowly took a step closer to the plate.

But before Rainbow Dash could say anything more, Angel took action. He kicked the plate hard, causing it to fling its contents directly at Rainbow Dash.

“Ahh, Hey!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she covered herself from the thrown food. Luckily, none of them actually hit her. Angel immediately hopped off the table after that action. Rainbow Dash darted towards the edge of the table with a scowl on her face.

“What was that for, Angel!?” Rainbow Dash looked down from the edge of the table to find Angel. But what she saw suddenly changed her mood.

Angel was signaling her over to him in an odd way. Rainbow Dash went ahead and started hovering down towards him. The gesture that he made caused Rainbow Dash to look over towards the living room.

“What the…” Rainbow Dash landed next to Angel with confusion on her face. There was a path of celery sticks laid out that the other animals were placing around. Those were the same celery sticks that came from the box Rainbow Dash knocked over for them.

“…What in the name of Celestia…” Rainbow Dash looked over to Angel for answers. What she was greeted with was Angel appearing to be skipping in place towards Rainbow Dash. He then positioned himself towards the direction of the celery sticks, crouching on his four limbs while shaking his tail around slightly.

Rainbow Dash noticed that Angel was smiling at her. She also noticed that there was a bird near the start of the celery path that was laid out, and said bird was holding a wing high in the air. Rainbow Dash smirked when she realized exactly what was going on.

“You wanna race, Angel?” Rainbow Dash asked. All Angel did was nod to her before looking towards the track. “Oh, you are so on!” Rainbow Dash said proudly as she positioned herself towards the start line.

Rainbow Dash brought her stance low, eying the track that was currently laid out. She couldn’t tell where the track ended, but by her guess, it would be where the celery ends. It was most likely a simple track, so it wouldn’t be too difficult to follow.

Rainbow Dash and Angel looked towards the bird that had its wing held high. They waited in anticipation for it to drop its wing and signal the race. Rainbow Dash gave her large wings a nice little flap and stretch as she waited for the signal. She put pressure on her hooves, waiting for the moment to release them.

*Flap!* The bird brought its wing down.

The two competitors darted straight out of the starting line. Rainbow Dash’s hooves put enough force out of them to allow her a good start. Angel was right next to her, running on all fours quickly and steadily. Rainbow Dash used her wings to keep her momentum steady. She tried going faster, but she didn’t have enough power in her wings.

Rainbow Dash held a concentrated grin on her face as Angel ran while Rainbow Dash flew. They were neck and neck, giving it their all as they raced a straight path. But soon, the first turn was coming up. As it came up, the two competitors started making their turn.

Only Rainbow Dash wasn’t turning.

“Gaah!” Rainbow Dash’s wings were so light and delicate; they weren’t able to stop her momentum. She went on a collision course.

*Smack!* Rainbow Dash’s momentum was halted by one of the cottage walls. Her body started slowly sliding down the wall shortly after colliding with it.

When Rainbow Dash reached the ground, she groaned and flipped her body around to look back towards the race track. Rainbow Dash could see a crowd of cheering animals. Angel had stopped running as he was at the finish line. It certainly wasn’t a long race at all.

“How did you…” Rainbow Dash got frustrated with the performance. “Grr… it’s my wings! They’re too weak now!”

Rainbow Dash smacked her hoof at the wall before she got up from it and started flying towards Angel. Based on that performance, Rainbow Dash could still maintain most of her speed, but her agility was completely gone.

“Fine, Angel, you win this round,” Rainbow Dash stated as she landed next to Angel. “Are you happy now?”

Angel had a smile on his face, but he shook his head at Rainbow Dash. He motioned his paw to lead Rainbow Dash’s line of sight. Rainbow Dash saw a squirrel and another bunny smack into each other and started pushing against each other. Seconds after, Angel suddenly hopped in front of Rainbow Dash, standing on two legs with his forepaws stretched towards Rainbow Dash. He was grinning at Rainbow Dash.

“Oh, so now you wanna wrestle, huh?” Rainbow Dash stated with a smirk. “You’re on!” Her wings may have been weakened, but the rest of her body still felt in very good shape.

Another animal came to the sidelines as their duty to signal them. It was a beaver, and it was holding its tail high in the air. Rainbow Dash and Angel waited in anticipation for the signal, eyeing each other closely. Rainbow Dash bounced her body up and down with her legs, getting herself ready to charge at Angel the moment the signal came. Angel held a similar pose, standing inches away from Rainbow Dash.

*Slam!* The beaver slapped its tail on the ground, signaling the fight.

Rainbow Dash and Angel charged for each other at the same time, slamming their forelegs against each other. They pushed their hind legs roughly against the ground while their forelegs pushed against each other.

The animals in the background were cheering them on. While Rainbow Dash couldn’t understand them, it was easy to make out that they were cheering.

Rainbow Dash and Angel grunted as they struggled against each other. Rainbow Dash started showing progress as she managed to move a hind leg forwards, allowing her to put more force on Angel. Angel started sliding a bit as a result.

But then Angel did something different. Rainbow Dash felt Angel’s pressure on her start to shift upward.

“Gaah!” Rainbow Dash suddenly couldn’t get her limbs to push against the ground. Angel suddenly managed to shove her away with much more ease. “Gaah!” Rainbow Dash’s body was thrusted backwards, but slowly. She softly landed on her back against the floor with a grunt.

“Mmrph!” Rainbow Dash groaned after that performance. She was getting rather frustrated right now. Thanks to her pride, she hated losing, and she lost this match for the same reason as the last one. Her large wings had made her body much lighter. This was how Angel had managed to turn things around. The fact that it was her wings of all things that hindered her was really damaging her pride.

Angel hopped over to Rainbow Dash with a smile on his face. Rainbow Dash was not amused with the gesture. She picked herself up, dusting herself off with a scowl on her face.

“Okay Angel, you made your point!” Rainbow Dash shouted while she stood herself on her hind legs. She moved one of her forelegs towards the other as she recollected her performances. “Now that I'm a breezie, you are now faster than me, and stronger than me. Big deal!"

Angel just shook his head as he kept that smile. He motioned Rainbow Dash towards the kitchen as he started hopping over towards it.

“What? What more does this bunny want?” Rainbow Dash wasn’t sure what was going on with Angel anymore. As she started following Angel, her mood suddenly shifted when she became aware of something. Angel seemed to be smiling at her performances, but he wasn’t laughing at them. None of the other animals were laughing either. Did they just like seeing these performances? If so, why haven’t they done more of it before with each other?

Rainbow Dash arrived at the kitchen by following Angel. Angel had motioned her towards a plate that was on the floor. Rainbow Dash realized that it might’ve been the same plate that Angel kicked earlier. Angel motioned his paws to point towards the plate, and then towards the sink. Rainbow Dash looked towards Angel in confusion.

“What? You want me to carry this plate up there?” Angel responded by nodding his head to Rainbow Dash as his answer. Rainbow Dash looked at the plate then turned back to Angel. “No competition this time? Is this my prize for being a loser?” Angel shook his head.

Rainbow Dash wandered her eyes around before looking back to the plate. Whatever Angel was trying to do, Rainbow Dash couldn’t figure it out. She walked over to the plate that Angel had motioned her towards.

Rainbow Dash started off by using her legs to push the plate closer towards the sink. Rainbow Dash grunted as she pushed the plate across the ground. It was quite a large plate, and most likely heavier than most plates. As a result, it took a bit of effort for Rainbow Dash to get it up to the wall. After she got the plate to come into contact with the wall, she put her hooves under the plate.

“Nnngh…” Rainbow Dash grunted heavier as she lifted the plate to stand upwards against the wall. Angel just watched on the sidelines, being impressed at Rainbow Dash’s efforts. She was able to get the plate to stand against the wall.

*Pant* okay… now I just gotta…” Rainbow Dash looked up towards the sink. She gulped nervously at the height of it. But then she shook her head, trying to block out her nerves. Her pride was on the line, so she was determined to do this.

Rainbow Dash let her wings lift her off the ground. As she ascended, she kept her hooves on the plate to keep it still on the wall. When she got to the top of it, she put her hooves around it, getting the best grip on the plate that she could. Rainbow Dash pressured her wings to lift herself higher, but she wasn’t budging.

“Nnngh… come on…” Rainbow Dash struggled as she attempted to lift the weight she was carrying. Angel watched in anticipation as he watched Rainbow Dash trying so hard to lift that plate.

Rainbow Dash put in more power within her wings, straining them to allow herself to lift the weight airborne. Her body was shivering slightly as she continued to pull. She was grinding her teeth roughly while she breathed hard.

Suddenly, she started feeling her altitude slowly rise. Angel’s face went shocked when he noticed the plate being lifted. She was really doing it. Rainbow Dash was slowly, but surely lifting that plate in the air.

But Rainbow Dash couldn’t tell how much longer she could keep this up. She was really straining herself, and her strength was fading her. But she didn’t want to give up. She kept struggling herself to keep the plate lifted.

“Rainbow Dash?”

“Gaah!” Rainbow Dash’s body flinched violently when she heard her name being called. She lost her grip on the plate she was carrying, making it crash against the ground, tilting to land flatly. Rainbow Dash winced when the plate clattered against the ground. She was slightly relieved that it didn't end up shattering. She looked towards the direction she heard the voice to find Fluttershy standing just outside the entrance to the kitchen. She looked a little worried, holding a hoof to her mouth.

“Oh my, Rainbow Dash, were you trying to do the dishes for me?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow Dash looked up to Fluttershy, nervously rubbing the back of her head.

“Uh… hey, Fluttershy, um…” Rainbow Dash stuttered as she tried looking around. Angel was suddenly nowhere to be seen. At this point, she didn’t even know what she was doing at all.

“Oh, Rainbow Dash, you didn’t have to push yourself to try and clean up after yourself like that.” Fluttershy walked over towards the plate and picked it up. Rainbow Dash followed the plate as Fluttershy took it to the sink, watching her rinsing and cleaning the plate off.

Rainbow Dash wasn’t really sure what to say. Fluttershy didn’t show any signs that she was aware of what else had occurred a few moments ago. As Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy clean the plate, her eyes wandered to see if she could find any signs of Angel. She couldn’t find any sign of him at all. She wondered where he went to and what that was all about.

Fluttershy had finished cleaning off the plate and started putting it away. She started flying out of the kitchen, but turned her attention to Rainbow Dash while doing so.

“Oh, Rainbow Dash, I have to go to the market plaza to pick up more food for the animals. Can I get you anything?” Fluttershy stated. Rainbow Dash’s mood shifted upon hearing this.

“Oh, can I come, Fluttershy?” Rainbow Dash asked. Fluttershy seemed a bit surprised by this.

“Oh, are you sure, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy asked. “What if somepony sees you?”

“Don’t worry, Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash responded with confidence in her voice. “It’s not like they’ll be able to recognize me so easily. After all, it took you a while before you figured out who I was.”

“…Well… yes… but…” Fluttershy stumbled over her words before she found them. “Breezies are one of the rarest creatures in Equestria. And the portal to their home is currently closed. If anypony saw you, you might attract… attention…” Rainbow Dash’s mood dropped at the mention of this, letting her vision fall low.

“Oh yeah, you’re right about that,” Rainbow Dash stated glumly. “Not to mention you’ve already told all of Ponyville about the breezies.” Rainbow Dash rubbed her chin as she thought about the travel. She flew over to Fluttershy as she concluded with an idea. “How about this? I’ll follow closely with you to the market. If other ponies come close to us-“ Rainbow Dash flew over towards Fluttershy’s pink mane, “-I’ll hide here, okay?” Rainbow Dash finished.

“Well,… okay, if that’s what you want, Rainbow,” Fluttershy stated with a smile. Even as a breezie, it looked like Rainbow Dash still loved spending more time outside than inside. It may have been dangerous, but to Rainbow Dash, that was never a reason to not do something. Although, there was a limit to how dangerous something could be, but this was far from it.

As Fluttershy walked towards the front doors of the cottage with Rainbow Dash riding her mane, Rainbow Dash looked around the cottage again. There seemed to be no signs of any of the animals that took part in that odd little event. There wasn’t even the celery marked race track that was around earlier.

Rainbow Dash did however manage to see where Angel was. He was standing on the second floor railing of the cottage, looking down at Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. His expression was different, but Rainbow Dash couldn’t tell what it was.

“Angel, I’m going out. Please watch the house while I’m gone,” Fluttershy called out to him as she started grabbing her saddle bags. Angel nodded with a smile towards Fluttershy, confirming that she could count on him.

But before Angel hopped out of view, Rainbow Dash could’ve sworn Angel gave an odd look directed at her. She couldn’t tell what was up with Angel’s actions today, or what his deal was. For now, Rainbow Dash just wanted to be away from him for now, at least for her pride's sake. She felt like she didn't have to worry about her pride around Fluttershy. Not to mention Fluttershy still wanted her and Angel to get along. But Rainbow Dash felt as if it would be better just to try and avoid having anymore unfriendly fights with him. It would at least prevent them from getting into any more trouble.

As long as she could achieve that, things would probably be alright.

Confidence

View Online

Fluttershy was currently walking in the direction of Ponyville’s marketing place. She was just a few distances away from her cottage. She passed by a few of her animal friends along the way. As they waved good bye, she waved back at them with a wing.

Rainbow Dash was latched onto Fluttershy’s mane, riding along as Fluttershy continued to walk. Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck before she gave a salivated lick on one of her hooves, lifting it high in the air in order to test the wind conditions. She still forgot that her limbs probably weren't even hooves anymore, but it was easier for her to think of them as such.

“Hmm…” Rainbow Dash closed her eyes as she focused on the wind power that was occurring today. She took a few moments to concentrate on it.

“Something wrong, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy asked, noticing Rainbow Dash taking more time than usual.

“Mmrph… no…” Rainbow Dash responded sadly while putting her hoof back down. “It’s too strong…”

“What?” Fluttershy asked again, confused.

“The wind…” Rainbow Dash responded. “It’s blowing around randomly and it’s too strong right now for me to fly in.” Rainbow Dash groaned off as she slumped down on Fluttershy’s mane.

“Oh my… I’m sorry, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said sympathetically.

Rainbow Dash stared off in the skies as she lied on Fluttershy’s mane with a glum look on her face. Usually a day like this was like a gentle breeze to Rainbow Dash’s wings. She could fly around freely and effortlessly while just enjoying the wind blowing on her like this. But now, due to her breezie form, it was a rather dangerous weather pattern.

Rainbow Dash shook her head. She groaned again as she got back up to her hooves, putting a stern confident look on her face. She looked over the edge of Fluttershy’s mane, glancing down towards the ground as they treaded along. She could already feel the breeze blowing on her large wings and flowing mane, attempting to pry her off of Fluttershy’s mane.

Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck again as she took a deep breath, looking down towards the moving ground. She couldn’t believe that she was so nervous about this. She had always traveled much, MUCH faster than this all her life. And yet, this slow of a speed was making her nervous just because of the wind power outside.

Summoning up her courage, Rainbow Dash leapt off.

“Rainbow?” Fluttershy looked towards her breezie pet as she felt her weight shift. Rainbow Dash struggled a bit as she corrected her unstable flight pattern. She moved her body towards Fluttershy’s underside, using her body as a shield to block off most of the wind power.

“Rainbow Dash, what are you doing?” Fluttershy asked, being concerned while she was witnessing Rainbow Dash swaying in the air, struggling to keep her path set.

*Pant* I’m flying Fluttershy, *pant*,” Rainbow Dash responded, putting a lot of power in her wings to keep them aligned correctly.

“But Rainbow-“

“I know what I said earlier," Rainbow Dash said, interrupting Fluttershy. "*Pant* but I just want to exercise right now.” Rainbow Dash kept herself close to Fluttershy’s underside, trying her best methods to block out the winds.

“Rainbow Dash, it’s too dangerous, come back inside,” Fluttershy said softly, referring to her mane or coat as an inside. Rainbow Dash didn’t respond and just kept flying the way she was. The way that her flight path swayed around to the point where she was slightly hitting Fluttershy’s legs and stomach made it obvious that she was struggling, but she still kept at it. Seeing that her breezie pet wasn’t listening, Fluttershy stopped walking and put a hoof in front of her path.

“Rainbow Dash, come back inside,” Fluttershy said in a more demanding tone. Rainbow Dash was stopped by Fluttershy’s hoof and she tried to move it.

“But, Fluttershy-“

“Rainbow Dash, listen to me.” Fluttershy’s tone got more serious. She used her hoof to move Rainbow Dash to the front of her so that she could look at her eye to eye. The look on Fluttershy’s face was making Rainbow Dash uncomfortable. “It’s too dangerous right now. There will be more times for you to exercise outside, but today you could seriously hurt yourself if you do.” The tone and look that Fluttershy was giving made Rainbow Dash more nervous than usual.

“But…” Rainbow Dash tried to respond, but the look on Fluttershy’s face was making her words lock up. She put a hoof on the back of her neck as those eyes pierced her soul with regret. It wasn't even the Stare that she was using. It was the stern look that an owner would give to their pet or child if they were misbehaving. Her confidence slowly left her as she looked into those eyes..

Rainbow Dash looked away and sat down, sighing out in defeat. Fluttershy shifted her body lower towards the ground as she brought her hoof to lie Rainbow Dash down on the dirt road they were treading on.

“Cheer up, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy continued in a more soothing tone. She used a hoof to start petting along Rainbow Dash’s head, slightly calming her down. “One day, the weather will be calm enough for you to spread your wings in safety.” Fluttershy reached into one of the bags she took, pulling out a small brush, the same brush she used yesterday.

“…Fluttershy… ooh…” Rainbow Dash’s depressed figure slowly took a change as she felt that brush rubbing along her coat. The brush stimulated some pressure points to her body that absolutely pleasured her. Rainbow Dash gave a depressed moan as the brush ran along the back of her neck, delighting her soul much more pleasantly. She couldn’t stop herself from shivering and stretching her neck as the brush slid. The contact she was feeling was so much different than before, but in the good way.

“I’m only looking out for your safety,” Fluttershy said calmly as she brushed along Rainbow Dash’s coat, sliding from her neck all the way along her back. “If you want, I can take you back to the cottage,” she offered.

“…Mmm, no, Fluttershy, I-I’ll listen,” Rainbow Dash said while she was moaning from the pleasant contact. Even if she couldn’t do much, she would rather be outside than wait for Fluttershy while indoors all day.

“That’s a good Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy finished. Rainbow Dash started to tear up slightly while she was being groomed. She couldn’t tell if it was because of her sadness or her pleasant feel. She wished that she could fly freely again, but at the same time, she was absolutely loving this contact. The two feelings were too conflicting for her to tell. Fluttershy noticed that Rainbow Dash seemed to be sobbing slightly.

“…Rainbow Dash? Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked concerned.

*Sniff* I’m fine,” Rainbow Dash responded, wiping a tear off her eyes. She looked back to Fluttershy with a slight smile on her face. “Can we continue now?” Fluttershy smiled back at Rainbow Dash. She put the brush away, using her hoof to carry Rainbow Dash back on her pink mane.

“Of course,” Fluttershy said as she patted Rainbow Dash on the head. She wanted to make sure Rainbow Dash wasn’t pressured and was kept happy and safe.

As Fluttershy continued to walk towards the market place, Rainbow Dash decided to curl inside Fluttershy’s mane, keeping herself comforted inside. Her large wings were able to be curled inside the pink mane, allowing her whole form to be hidden and concealed. She decided that it would be best to take a nap right now. It certainly wasn’t easy being a breezie, but thanks to Fluttershy, it was much easier than working all those jobs she had been receiving at the weather factory, most of which weren’t even her jobs at all.

Rainbow Dash gave off a happy sigh as she started slumbering off. She wasn't sure how she felt right now about being so vulnerable, but as long as Fluttershy kept providing those relaxing petting moments, Rainbow Dash didn’t mind missing out on exercising.

______________________________________________________________________________

Fluttershy was now entering the Ponyville market plaza that was being held outside. While Rainbow Dash was napping, she took short moments to slightly open her eyes to take a peak outside. She was able to see through the hairs of Fluttershy’s mane enough so that she could tell what was going on, while at the same time keep herself hidden from other ponies' views.

She saw the other ponies walking by, but not changing their path. Fluttershy was the one who was walking out of the path these ponies were walking. Unlike animals, Fluttershy didn’t do so well with crowds of ponies who she wasn’t very familiar with. No matter how long they lived in Ponyville, there would always be unfamiliar faces.

It was due to reasons like these that Rainbow Dash wished Fluttershy would fly around more often. It would be much easier to avoid the ponies that she crossed paths with as a result. Of course, she didn’t expect Fluttershy to fly now since she was not only shopping, but also carrying precious cargo, if she could call it that. It would be harder to carry her supplies while flying after all.

Speaking of flying, Rainbow Dash noticed a few pegasi flying above the market plaza. But they seemed to be traveling in groups and looked to be doing something. Rainbow Dash had managed weather teams enough times to know that those pegasi weren’t doing a casual flight or travel. They were doing something, but she couldn't tell what it was from here.

“That’ll be five bits ma’am.” Rainbow Dash's mind halted when she heard the voice of another pony. She noticed that Fluttershy was currently at a stall that was selling carrots.

“Five? But I thought they were only three bits,” Fluttershy said to the female stall manager.

“Sorry ma’am, but I’ve got a family to feed,” the stall manager replied in a soft tone. This brought Rainbow Dash’s attention away from the skies. She decided to peak through Fluttershy’s mane to take a look at the situation. “We’ve been running low on supplies, so I really need to bump my prices so that I can feed them.”

“Oh my, I’m so sorry,” Fluttershy replied back in a sympathetic tone. “I’ll pay the five bits.”

Rainbow Dash couldn’t believe what she was seeing. A pack of carrots went for no more than one bit and Fluttershy not only thought three bits was the original price, but was now paying five? This was an absolute outrage to Rainbow Dash. As Fluttershy started digging through one of her saddle bags to pull out the bits, Rainbow Dash crawled through the pink mane to get close to Fluttershy’s ear.

“Fluttershy, stop!” Rainbow Dash yelled in a rough whisper. When Fluttershy heard this, she froze in place. “What are you doing?!”

“Rainbow?” Fluttershy replied a bit shocked in a soft whisper. “Um, I’m buying carrots from this pony.”

“For five bits?!” Rainbow Dash said, flinging her hooves in the air, or rather, in the air that covered the pink mane.

“I know it’s expensive, but she needs it for her family,” Fluttershy continued, still with her muzzle inside the saddle bag. The pony at the stall couldn’t see the conversation that she was having due to this.

“Fluttershy, don’t you see?” Rainbow Dash continued to scold, pressing her hooves against Fluttershy's head below her mane. “She’s just trying to scam you with a sob story so that you’ll pay her more!” Fluttershy’s eyes went wide within the bag at this mention.

“W-what? But, how can…” Fluttershy stumbled over her words. “What if her story is true? I can’t do that to her…” Rainbow Dash groaned a little at this comment.

“Fluttershy, look at her,” Rainbow Dash demanded. “Follow the words that I say to you. You’ll see what I mean.”

“W-what?”

“Just do what I say!”

Fluttershy hesitated a little, but she did as Rainbow Dash said. She removed her head from the bag so that she could look back towards the pony. She heard Rainbow Dash whisper something in her ear. She did as she was told, carefully.

“Um, y-your family?” Fluttershy started, unsure of what she was doing. “H-how bad is it?”

“What?” the stall manager replied casually.

“H-how big is your family?” Fluttershy closely followed the words Rainbow Dash was telling her.

“Um… well…” the stall manager took her time while she thought. Rainbow Dash eyed her carefully while she was giving Fluttershy commands. She knew that lack of confidence anywhere. If the manager’s story really was true, she wouldn’t have to think about it.

“I manage a family of three, alone,” the stall manager said. Fluttershy paused for a second as Rainbow Dash continued passing words to her. Rainbow Dash also told her to focus more on her words and not to stutter them.

“They’re home alone while you work?” Fluttershy said with a bit more confidence.

“Err…” the manager started to look nervous. There was a lack of the mention of somepony watching over those fillies and or colts while this stall manager worked. However, the stall manager regained her stern look. “Why am I telling you this? This is none of your business!” Fluttershy squeaked a bit.

“Don’t lose confidence, Fluttershy, focus,” Rainbow Dash silently told Fluttershy. She continued passing words while Fluttershy tried to keep her focus.

“Y-you say that you need to feed your family, but you left them all alone while you work,” Fluttershy said, trying to keep herself more focused on her words than the pony in front of her.

“Why, I… I oughta report you to the authorities for peeking into somepony’s private business!” the stall manager yelled. Fluttershy was getting really nervous about this, but she continued on as Rainbow Dash told her.

“You’ll be the one in trouble for trying to scam somepony with false charity,” Fluttershy said. This made the stall manager stumble back a bit.

“Gh… No! They wouldn’t believe you! You’re just taunting me!” the stall manager pushed her reasons.

“Do you really wanna take that chance?” Fluttershy finished, trying hard to keep her stern look. The manager was gazing back at her, trying to keep her own stern look and intimidate Fluttershy.

Rainbow Dash locked her gaze on the manager’s eyes. They looked like they were slowly losing confidence. It was obvious she was lying, but she had to make sure Fluttershy saw that too. She put the final touches on Fluttershy’s look by shaking her pink mane slightly. This produced a vibration that the stall manager could see that made it look like a silent rage building up. Her confident look started faltering quickly as a result.

“Gaah! Okay fine, I don’t have a family!” the manager broke out, shutting her eyes and looking away. Rainbow Dash gave off a victory smile seeing the manager break. Fluttershy felt an adrenaline of warmth rush through her body when she saw this change. “I only said all that stuff so that I could get more business. Please don’t tell anypony!”

The sympathy that Fluttershy held before came back, but in a different way. But before she could say anything, Rainbow Dash gave her more words to follow.

“A pack of carrots are only worth one bit,” Fluttershy said.

“Oh, of course, here!” the manager said, bringing out one of the packs of carrots she had in stock. Fluttershy pulled out a single bit and gave it to the manager. But before she did the trade, she continued as Rainbow Dash told her. “If I see you trying to scam any other ponies, I will tell.”

The stall manager couldn’t even reply to this with words. She just nodded nervously, accepting the exchange. Of course, Fluttershy wouldn’t be able to keep an eye on this pony for those scams, but it was the threat that scared her into believing that she could.

With the pack of carrots bought, Fluttershy started walking away from the stall while she put the carrots in one of her bags. Fluttershy let out an amazed and shocked sigh. She couldn’t believe what she had just done.

“R-rainbow Dash, h-how did you know?” Fluttershy stuttered. Since other ponies at the market place were busy with their own businesses and conversations, they wouldn’t notice Fluttershy talking to herself.

“I’ve ran into this kind of thing before, Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash said as she starting lying herself on her back, within the pink mane. “It happens from time to time in the weather factory. Ponies are always trying to give us sob stories so that we’ll give them special requests, or one of our workers try to come up with an excuse to skip their shift.” Rainbow Dash flicked the back of her ear as her face started turning annoyed. “You wouldn’t believe how many ponies have tried that on me, trying to get me to help them with their weather duties.”

Fluttershy looked around the scenery nervously. She was looking towards different ponies that were doing their shoppings and sellings. She grew nervous as she thought about them and their tactics.

“How can you be sure that their stories aren’t true?” Fluttershy asked as she brought her attention back on the floor. “I can’t bear the thought of ruining somepony’s life like that.”

“That’s just it though,” Rainbow Dash said. This caused Fluttershy’s attention to adjust. “Ponies will look at you and take advantage of that because they know you’ll believe them.” Fluttershy’s expression saddened at this remark. “It’s a little thing called confidence, Fluttershy. Ponies will take advantage of that. Don’t believe their lies unless they can back it up.”

Fluttershy took a moment to think about that. It wasn’t that Rainbow Dash could instantly tell that they were lying, but rather that she was assuming it at first, and their lack of confidence afterwards revealed that they were lying. It was alien to Fluttershy because that sounded quite mean, but it was also true.

Things like these were reasons why Fluttershy was always so shy. She wanted to be nice, but the fact that other ponies would take advantage of her vulnerability was something she’s had to deal with for a long time now. In fact, Rainbow Dash was always her inspiration to become more outgoing and confident than she normally ever was. But there was always just some new obstacle keeping her from coming out of her shell all the time.

“Oh, Rainbow Dash… I don’t know what I should do,” Fluttershy said as she looked back towards the stalls. “If these ponies are like you say…-“

“Don’t worry Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash said, cutting Fluttershy off. “Just keep doing your shopping. I’ll make sure no pony is taking advantage of you.” Fluttershy held a smile at this remark. Even as a breezie, Rainbow Dash was there for Fluttershy and looking out for her.

______________________________________________________________________________

Fluttershy continued doing her shopping like Rainbow Dash had told her. Things were moving along a lot smoother than usual. Fluttershy had gone through many stalls, purchasing food items ranging from grapes, boxes of celery, bouquets of flowers and leaves, and somepony tried to scam her with purchasing acorns and nuts by saying that they were special nuts, but Rainbow Dash’s words allowed Fluttershy to avoid that.

While Fluttershy was shopping, Rainbow Dash was feeling an odd pressure of wind power blowing along Fluttershy’s mane. Thanks to the thickness of that pink mane, Rainbow Dash didn’t have to worry about getting blown away, but it was still oddly powerful. Today wasn’t supposed to be such a windy day, but it certainly was rather windy right now.

“Why hey there, Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash’s attention was shifted at the sound of a familiar voice. Looking through the mane towards the voice’s direction, she saw that Fluttershy was walking towards a stall being maintained by Applejack. Rainbow Dash decided to lie back and relax, placing her hooves on the back of her head. Fluttershy didn’t have to worry about Applejack.

“I’d like to purchase some apples please,” Fluttershy said in an oddly casual tone.

“Um, Fluttershy?” Applejack asked. Rainbow Dash felt Fluttershy’s mane shift suddenly.

“Oh! Applejack, oh my, um…” Fluttershy stuttered. Rainbow Dash chuckled slightly at this. If she could guess, Fluttershy must not have been paying attention while she was walking towards Applejack’s stall. She was probably trying to keep up her confidence like she was doing with everypony else at the time.

“Heheh, no need to fret, I’m no stranger ‘round these parts,” Applejack cut in.

“S-sorry, Applejack, I must’ve had something else on my mind,” Fluttershy responded, keeping her head low.

“Not to worry, Fluttershy,” Applejack said. She then motioned a hoof towards her stock. “So, ya here to buy some apples today?”

“Yes,” Fluttershy confirmed with a nod. “One bag please?”

Applejack started filling up the bag of apples while Fluttershy pulled out her bits. They may have been friends, but business was still business. Of course, on special occasions, that fact differed, but today was not one of those days since nothing special was going on. Rainbow Dash just silently watched their exchange with a smile. Applejack had taken the bits while Fluttershy placed the apples in her saddle bag.

“Thank you, Applejack,” Fluttershy said with a nod.

“Yer welcome, Fluttershy,” Applejack said. She gave a wave as Fluttershy started walking off. “Oh, Fluttershy, if ya see Rainbow Dash, tell er she needs ta calm this weather ‘round here.” Rainbow Dash opened her eyes in a bit of a shock after hearing her name mentioned. “That pony has been slacking off again.”

Both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy gave off a silent gasp at this comment.

“Oh, s-sure, I’ll let her know when I s-see her,” Fluttershy replied nervously before she continued to walk away.

Those apples were the last thing on Fluttershy’s list of items that she needed to buy. As a result, she was now exiting the marketing place. But as she walked, she was growing increasingly worried about Rainbow Dash. She could feel her shivering through her mane.

That last comment Applejack had made infuriated Rainbow Dash. She was growling low while her hooves gripped Fluttershy’s mane roughly, squeezing it as tightly as she could. Her body couldn’t stop trembling as her emotions riled up. One of her ears was shaking more violently than the rest of her body.

Fluttershy looked towards the part of her mane that was shivering. She brought her muzzle over to nuzzle where Rainbow Dash was, attempting to calm her down.

“Rainbow Dash?… A-are you okay?” Fluttershy hesitantly asked as she gently nuzzled against where Rainbow Dash lay.

“Of course I’m not okay!” Rainbow Dash blurted a bit louder than she wanted to. If she had been any louder, other ponies might have heard her. But thankfully, Fluttershy’s mane blocked out most of the sound. “Didn’t you hear what Applejack said!?” She started beating her hooves against the pink mane. “Even she thinks I’m a lazy, good for nothing pegasus, lying on the job!”

“Rainbow Dash, she didn’t mean that,” Fluttershy tried to defend, pulling her muzzle away. “She doesn’t know that-“

“I know she doesn’t know, Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash interrupted. She slumped back into a lying position. “But it’s the fact that she doesn’t know that gets me so mad!”

Rainbow Dash let out a large groan as she put a hoof on the back of her ear, pressing against it. It was just like every other pony in Ponyville. Of course, if she could find the time to tell all her friends about her problem, they would know and most likely understand. But it was because of all those ponies that she never did find that time. And the fact that her friends showed no signs so far of knowing about her problem only infuriated her even more.

Of course, Rainbow Dash didn’t expect them to be able to help her solve her problem if she ever did have that time. Neither of them, not even Fluttershy, could really help her with weather patterns. But besides that, there wasn’t anything she could really tell them. She was being called lazy, so she grabbed more attention to prove she was not, and now her attention was the problem. If it continues, she still has her problem. If they back off, she’s back to her old problem. She didn’t know what to tell them because she didn’t even know her own problem anymore.

“Rainbow Dash, please calm down,” Fluttershy spoke softly as she used a hoof to lightly pet Rainbow Dash within her hair. If other ponies were looking, they would think Fluttershy was just brushing her mane. “Even if Applejack didn’t know, you know she doesn’t mean any hard feelings.”

Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes as she thought. Her problem didn’t lie with what Applejack thought, but rather that she said it at all. Unless she was just jokingly lying, it only meant that there was a good chance many other ponies still believed she was that lazy.

*Grumble* Rainbow Dash’s train of thought was halted when she felt that coming from her stomach.

“Oh my,” Fluttershy started. “I forgot I hadn’t eaten anything today.” She placed a hoof towards her own stomach. Although, this left Rainbow Dash a bit confused.

“Wait, I thought that was my stomach,” Rainbow Dash said.

“What? No, that can’t be right,” Fluttershy said, putting a hoof over her mouth. “I served you breakfast, didn’t I?”

“…Um, well…” Rainbow Dash nervously rubbed the back of her head as she thought back on that.

“Oh, I knew I should’ve cut those pieces smaller for you, I’m sorry, Rainbow Dash.” Rainbow Dash wasn’t really sure how to respond to that. She wasn’t sure if she should talk about that moment she had with Angel to Fluttershy. Even now, she couldn’t understand what that was all about, but she tried to push it out of her mind.

“That’s okay, Fluttershy,” Rainbow Dash started. “Since we’re both hungry, why don’t we eat at a restaurant?”

“Oh, that sounds nice,” Fluttershy said with a smile. She looked around her surroundings as her walking led her deeper inside Ponyville, holding many other buildings and business places. “Where would you like to eat at?”

______________________________________________________________________________

*Cha-ching*

______________________________________________________________________________

*Crunch, munch, munch* “Mmm…”

*Crunch* “Mmm…” *Munch*

Fluttershy was happily eating at one corner of the Hay Burger restaurant. She kept some bits of the horseshoe fries and burgers on her hoof to hold towards her mane for Rainbow Dash to take and enjoy. Fluttershy’s mane was literally kept clean and stable enough to the point you could eat in it. Rainbow Dash would be surprised about how that was possible at all, but her mind was more focused on the delicious food to care. Although, she was probably getting Fluttershy's mane messy right now, but Fluttershy made no responses that she minded at all.

Fluttershy’s order was shared in bits and pieces for Rainbow Dash.Small bits of ketchup were already placed on the pieces she brought to her mane. She had ordered two hay burgers with the toppings of lettuce, tomato, and pickles, along with a side of horseshoe fries and an orange fizz drink.

The straw from their drink was small enough for Rainbow Dash to suck through, even after her smaller size. All she had to do was slightly tug on Fluttershy’s mane to signal her when she wanted a drink, which she did a few times. This meant that Fluttershy had to put the straw in her mane for a few seconds, possibly leaving other ponies to wonder what she was doing.

But since Fluttershy's actions were facing towards a corner, not many ponies, if any at all, paid her much attention, which is what she wanted whether Rainbow Dash was with her like this or not.

“Hey Fluttershy!” Rainbow Dash slowed her eating when she heard the voice of another familiar pony.

“Oh, hi Pinkie Pie,” Fluttershy replied with a smile.

“Isn’t the food here amazing?” Rainbow Dash took a closer peak out of the pink mane while she ate, keeping a hoof to her mouth to keep her food from spilling. She saw Pinkie Pie holding a tray that was… attached to her neck…

“It is,” Fluttershy replied. “Are you eating here as well?”

“Nooo, I work here silly!” Pinkie explained in an extended tone. Fluttershy could only respond with a confused expression. “Wait, you didn’t know? I thought I told you.”

“Um…” Fluttershy tried to remember, thinking that she forgot.

“Oh well, must’ve slipped my mind,” Pinkie continued. “I can’t make small talk right now, so I’ll be taking the trash for you. Ya need anything?!” Pinkie finished by twisting her face around for no real reason.

“Well… I guess if I could get a refill…” Fluttershy gestured to her cup.

“Okey dokey Fluttershy, I’ll be back, lickety split!” Pinkie Pie used one hoof to rapidly swipe around the table, taking all of the wrappers and packets that Fluttershy had on her table and placing them on the tray she had attached to her neck. Without a moment’s notice, she zipped out of sight at a speed that would otherwise spill everything she had on her tray, if it weren’t for the fact that this was Pinkie Pie.

“Rainbow, did something happen to Sugarcube Corner?” Fluttershy asked, bringing Rainbow Dash’s attention back.

“What? Oh no, Fluttershy, of course not,” Rainbow Dash replied, more surprised that Fluttershy was thinking that something terrible had happened rather than the question itself. “Pinkie Pie is just working a part time job here for a little extra money, that’s all.” Fluttershy’s gaze turned towards the window as she continued this conversation.

“When did she tell us about this?” Fluttershy asked as she tried to think. “I just can’t remember.” While she was staring out the window, she saw two pegasi ponies who appeared to be trying to operate a cloud to water some flowers near the restaurant.

“She never did,” Rainbow Dash said bluntly, leaving Fluttershy confused. The two pegasi outside suddenly managed to activate the cloud, but ended up dumping a large batch of it, overflowing the flowers.

“But then, how-“

“I just figured that out when I flew over this place a few times,” Rainbow Dash interrupted Fluttershy. The two pegasi outside were now starting to argue with each other. “You don’t need her to tell you to take a guess at what she’s doing.”

Fluttershy continued to look towards the two pegasi that were arguing outside. She could barely just make out their words.

“I told you to let me handle it, move!” One of the pegasi shoved the other and struck the cloud they were operating with a hoof. Fluttershy saw the cloud evaporate as a result. This left the two pegasi even angrier than usual.

“Look at what you’ve done! I told you to pay more attention to Rainbow Dash.”

“Me? I was following her closely! You’re the one who’s doing everything wrong!”

“You know what? Fine! Let’s go find Rainbow Dash and ask her who’s doing it right! But you’ll be sorry when she finds favor in me!”

“Nuh uh, she’s gonna find favor in me!”

“Oh yeah, well-…”

The two pegasi started flying away from the restaurant with harsh words. Fluttershy couldn’t make them out anymore though. She wasn’t sure why those pegasi were having such a hard time with the weather cloud. There were many other pegasi that were capable of handling clouds besides Rainbow Dash. But then again, Fluttershy didn’t know much about operating weather clouds herself.

The conversation however made Fluttershy a little sick to her stomach. It was just like Rainbow Dash had described to her, if not worse. These ponies found attention in Rainbow Dash to the point where they would argue over each other, and Rainbow Dash had to end up dealing with their dilemma.

Fluttershy debated whether or not she should describe what she just witnessed to Rainbow Dash. She didn’t want her to be more worried than usual.

“I’m back!” Fluttershy’s trance was interrupted by the sound of Pinkie’s voice. “Here’s your drink, Fluttershy.” Pinkie set the refilled cup on Fluttershy’s table.

“Thanks, Pinkie,” Fluttershy said casually.

“Oh, by the way,” Pinkie suddenly changed the subject. “Have you heard about what’s been happening to Rainbow Dash? It doesn’t sound pretty.” Both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy’s attention shifted at this mention.

“Huh?” Fluttershy asked.

“Oops, I think I forgot to put ice in your cup, be right back!” Pinkie Pie zipped out of sight again before Fluttershy could question her further. The unsettling feeling in Fluttershy’s stomach was growing.

“R-rainbow?” Fluttershy tried asking.

“What is Pinkie talking about?” Rainbow Dash asked as well. She wasn’t feeling any better than Fluttershy was.

Fluttershy thought back to those two pegasi she saw earlier. The way Pinkie mentioned this made it sound like they weren’t even aware of Rainbow Dash’s absence yet. Fluttershy decided that now would be the best time to look into this. It would most likely be written in the newspapers.

Fluttershy pulled out some bits out of her saddle bags and set it down on the table. She immediately rushed out of the restaurant, leaving the bits behind.

“I’m back!” Pinkie returned to the table, smiling with a tray full of ice. “So anyway, the newspaper…” But then, Pinkie noticed that the table was empty seated. She heard the ring of the restaurant’s bell just in time to see Fluttershy leaving it.

“Okay, see ya later, Fluttershy!” Pinkie Pie looked over the table that contained Fluttershy’s food. One of her burgers hadn’t even had a bite while a small pack still had a bit of horseshoe fries left. She looked at the cup with a bit of a disappointed look on her face.

“Aw, she didn’t even drink her soda…”

Fluttershy had left the Hay Burger Restaurant in a hurry. After she heard from Pinkie Pie that there was something going on with Rainbow Dash that didn’t sound pretty, she had to figure out what it was. The fact that Rainbow Dash was with her right now, riding in her mane, was the reason why this was confusing her so much.

Rainbow Dash wasn’t sure about it either. She wasn’t sure why this was unsettling to her, but it was. She held her grip on Fluttershy’s mane, taking a very slight peak outside the hairs as Fluttershy rushed to look for the nearest newspaper stand she could find.

A few ponies glanced in Fluttershy’s direction, seeing her hurrying along. Fluttershy tried not to pay attention to them and just go do what she needed.

While Fluttershy was running, Rainbow Dash was looking through the pink mane herself to see if she could find any newspaper stands nearby. What she did see were multiple other ponies leaving a certain area, each with a newspaper.

“Fluttershy! This way!” Rainbow Dash pointed Fluttershy in the direction she was referring to by tugging on the pink mane in said direction. The tug didn’t hurt Fluttershy, but it got her attention. “Behind that building!” Fluttershy started running in the direction Rainbow Dash was leading her.

Fluttershy noticed other ponies passing by that building, each with a newspaper. When she turned the building’s corner, she saw the newspaper stand she was looking for. She would’ve praised Rainbow Dash’s accurate assumption, but there were too many ponies around at the time. Instead, she just grabbed one of the newspapers from the stand with her mouth and started looking for a quiet place to hide.

Fluttershy found her way to an alley way where nopony else was around at the time. There were a few boxes around, so Fluttershy stopped by one of them, bending herself down while she was setting the newspaper on the box.

While Fluttershy was bent down, Rainbow Dash used this opportunity to leave the pink mane, finally being able to uncurl her large wings again and stretch them out, using them to hover gently on the box.

“Rainbow Dash, how did you know one would be there?” Fluttershy asked, referring to the newspaper stand from earlier. Rainbow Dash was trying to give her wings a good stretch, but was having a bit of trouble due to their delicate form.

“I saw other ponies leaving with them while you were passing by,” Rainbow Dash tried to explain briefly, letting out a small grunt while she was extending her wings in the air as high as she could. “Could you pull on my wings here?” she requested.

Fluttershy accepted her request without question. She brought her muzzle towards the thin wings while Rainbow Dash gripped on the box as tightly as she could. Fluttershy gave a gentle pull that was just strong enough for Rainbow Dash’s delicate form.

Rainbow Dash let out a large grunt at the feelings of her wings being tugged on. She gripped the box as tight as she could, pulling herself towards it while Fluttershy pulled her back. The tug lasted for a few seconds before Fluttershy let go, allowing Rainbow’s wings to snap back to her. That stretch allowed a rush of adrenaline to pump into those wings, restoring her feelings on them.

“Ahh… that’s better,” Rainbow Dash said as she gave them a small flap. “Thanks Fluttershy.”

“You’re welcome,” Fluttershy replied with a slight giggle. Knowing Rainbow Dash, she was probably really anxious to get her wings working again after keeping them curled for so long. Fluttershy’s mane may have been very comfortable to lay in, but nothing would stop Rainbow Dash from exercising her wings when she got the chance. The pink mane would however be very inviting to her when she wanted to rest.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy switched their attentions back to the newspaper that they just got. Rainbow Dash had to stand on the newspaper to get a clear view of what it was saying. Thanks to Fluttershy being close by, she didn’t have to worry about the breeze blowing her away now.

“‘...Ponyville Gardening Contest wrecked by savaged winds…’” Fluttershy’s eyes went wide as she read the next few words, “‘Rainbow Dash blamed!’?” Rainbow Dash frantically rushed to the top of the newspaper upon hearing those words.

“What?!” Rainbow Dash read through the words under them to figure out what was going on.

The paper held mentions that their contest had to be canceled due to the failure of weather maintenance around their area. The only on the job pegasus that didn’t show up for work to contain the weather was Rainbow Dash, making her absence be the blame for why the weather pegasi were unable to contain the weather for their contest.

“W-what…?” Rainbow Dash slowly backed away from the page in disbelief.

“How could they blame you for this?” Fluttershy asked, keeping her head a fair distance away from Rainbow Dash to give her space.

“I...I don’t know!” Rainbow Dash turned around to look at Fluttershy. “I wasn’t even scheduled for that duty!” she said as she pointed back at the newspaper.

“Then… why are they saying you were on the job?” Fluttershy asked, putting a hoof on the spot of the newspaper that mentioned it. But then she noticed something else. “Oh my… it’s saying, because of your countless lazing performances, you will have to repair the damages yourself...” Rainbow Dash’s eyes jumped in her head as she bolted over to where Fluttershy pointed to.

“WHAT?!” Rainbow Dash’s stomach churned painfully inside of her as she read those words. Fluttershy clenched her teeth in a gasp as she read the next set of phrases that were mentioning a few nasty comments about Rainbow Dash that the citizens had left.

“I-I don’t understand. Don’t the pegasi in the weather factory know about your performance, that you’re not that lazy?” Fluttershy stuttered as she looked at Rainbow Dash worryingly.

“T-they do, but… they also want to see…” Rainbow Dash’s legs trembled beneath her as she gasped at the realization. Everypony probably thought she was still hiding in the Everfree Forest. So this meant... “T-they’re... assigning me tasks, using... my lazy reputation... as a reason... for…”

Rainbow Dash’s stomach churned even more aggressively into an audible gurgle. She put a hoof to her mouth as she started feeling really sick to her stomach.

“R-rainbow?” Fluttershy noticed Rainbow Dash’s tiny body start to thrust, hearing a soft uncomfortable groan coming from her bloated mouth that was being muffled by her little limb. Fluttershy gasped. “Oh no…”

Fluttershy scooped up her little breezie friend gently into her forelegs. She put a little bit of pressure on the upper part of Rainbow’s belly as she flew quickly but steadily towards the direction of her cottage.

Rainbow Dash held onto Fluttershy’s hooves tightly, letting Fluttershy’s pressure on her settle her belly. She swallowed a couple of times, feeling like her stomach was trying to crawl through her throat. She continued making small grunting moans, having trouble breathing.

Fluttershy continued flying towards her cottage, avoiding the other ponies’ view of her. She had to get Rainbow Dash back to the cottage as soon as she could.

Fluttershy opened the door to her cottage and immediately closed it behind her as she flew in. She set her bags down before flying towards the kitchen area, setting Rainbow Dash to sit down on the counter when she entered.

“Hang on Rainbow Dash!” Fluttershy said as she frantically searched her cabinets. Rainbow clutched her belly tightly as she held her moans in, forcibly trying to contain her belly ache. It felt like the food that she recently ate at the Hay Burger was trying to force its way out of her.

While Rainbow Dash was trying to contain her stomach, Fluttershy was opening up a medicine bottle, using her muzzle to place an eye dropper inside it. She squeezed the handle with her teeth so that it could suck in a small amount of the medicine’s liquid to fill inside the eye dropper. With the medicine prepared, she rushed her muzzle towards Rainbow Dash, standing on her hind legs while her forelegs rested on the counter.

“Rainbow Dash, drink this!” Fluttershy said through her clenched teeth. Rainbow Dash slowly looked up, opening her scrunched eyes while she kept pressure on her stomach. Just before she was able to notice Fluttershy, she felt a small tube get plugged into her mouth.

Fluttershy slowly squeezed the handle of the eye dropper so that it could squirt its medicine into Rainbow’s mouth. Rainbow Dash instinctively drank the liquid as it was being squirted into her mouth, but her eyes went wide at the contact and how close Fluttershy’s muzzle was. Her cheeks went red at the motion of Fluttershy’s muzzle squirting medicine into her mouth. However, a warm feeling rushed through her body when the medicine managed to reach her stomach.

When all of the medicine was squirted out of the eye dropper, Fluttershy pulled back her muzzle, letting the eye dropper make a pop sound when it left Rainbow’s mouth. Rainbow Dash stumbled a bit forwards as a result, but caught herself from falling over, keeping one limb on her stomach and the other on the ground.

Rainbow Dash squeezed her eyes shut, gagging as the taste of the medicine registered in her mouth. The churning in her belly was starting to go away, but the taste was awful. Fluttershy put the eye dropper away and brought a single grape in her hoof, motioning it towards Rainbow Dash.

“Here Rainbow, this should get that taste out of your mouth.” Rainbow Dash opened her eyes up to see a grape close to her, being held by Fluttershy’s hoof. She wasted no time in lunging herself towards the grape, gnawing her teeth at it and squirting its juices in a mess of a splatter. She squeezed the grape to suck the juice into her mouth, using its sweet taste to rid her of that awful medicine taste.

Rainbow Dash’s stomach was starting to feel a lot better, even while she was drinking the grape’s juices to rid her of that taste. After the grape ran out of juice, she hastily pushed it away and quickly licked along Fluttershy’s hoof, slurping the stains that were left on it due to the grape. She quickly panted as she lathered her tongue on the hoof without thinking, leaving her saliva to trail along the hoof and replace the stain.

The bad medicine taste had managed to leave Rainbow Dash, but it took a moment for her to realize her actions. She froze when the realization hit her, leaving her tongue to stick on the yellow hoof for a while. She slowly glanced her eyes up to meet with Fluttershy’s.

Fluttershy was just smiling at her like it was a normal thing. Rainbow Dash squeezed her eyes shut as she immediately removed her head from Fluttershy’s hoof. She wiped her muzzle and groaned a bit as her cheeks blushed some more. Fluttershy used that same hoof to pat Rainbow Dash gently on the head.

“Feeling better?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow slightly groaned as she clutched her painful stomach while Fluttershy patted her. Her blush increased slightly more when she felt the saliva on the hoof tracking on her head. It warmed her heart feeling Fluttershy’s contact, but at the same time, embarrassed her.

“Mmm…” Rainbow Dash slowly opened her eyes as she adjusted her pained look towards Fluttershy. “What… happened? ...Why did my stomach suddenly…” Rainbow Dash rubbed her limbs against her belly as the pain was settling down.

Fluttershy gave a small smile as she moved her muzzle towards Rainbow Dash. She gently used her muzzle to nudge Rainbow Dash backwards.

“Oh…” Rainbow was gently set to lie on her back, letting her wings lay flat against the counter. Fluttershy moved a wing tip towards her little breezie belly. “Mmm… ahh…” Rainbow Dash relaxed and moaned at the feeling of Fluttershy’s wing tip gently brushing along her belly. She initially thought that feather would tickle her, but Fluttershy was applying just enough pressure to not only avoid the sensitive tickling effect, but also massage her without hurting her.

“Oh, Rainbow Dash, I’m so sorry you had to experience that,” Fluttershy started, bringing the topic back towards Rainbow’s sudden stomach churn. “That must’ve been painful for you.”

“Yeah… it was. But… oh…” Rainbow Dash stretched her limbs higher as she moaned at the pleasant feather rubbing her belly. “Why… did it happen? Mmm…” She snuggled the back of her head against the counter.

“Rainbow, when you feel nervous from a stressful event, do you ever feel sick to your stomach?” Fluttershy asked, keeping the motion of her wing tip steady.

“Y-yeah… sometimes…” Rainbow Dash steadied her panting as the pain from her stomach was subsiding due to the massage. “But… when I get sick to my stomach… it didn’t hurt like this… ahh…” Fluttershy gave a concerned expression on her face.

“Yes… but that was because your stomach was strong enough to handle it.” Fluttershy started as she continued rubbing Rainbow’s tiny belly. “Your breezie body can’t handle the kind of stress that your normal body can.”

Rainbow Dash tried to lift her head up to say something, but her relaxed figure refused to move where she was. All she could do was let out a relaxed sigh as she settled in the massage.

“Breezies don’t normally have to deal with a stressful moment that impacts their life as a whole. ...So when you saw that newspaper…” Fluttershy stopped herself, trying to make sure Rainbow Dash didn’t get stressed into that again.

“Fluttershy…?” Rainbow Dash slightly lifted her head up to meet her gaze with Fluttershy’s. She looked to be in a bit of a deep thought as the motion of her wing slowed down.

“...What do you think… about letting our friends know… about…” Fluttershy treaded her words carefully, but stopped herself when she saw Rainbow Dash tense up a little. She then thought about those words that Applejack had said earlier. And then her mind flashed back to when Twilight used that spell to change them all to breezies before and then back to normal.

Fluttershy wasn’t sure, but Rainbow Dash believed that Twilight would turn her back immediately when she found out about Rainbow Dash taking, or borrowing, her book like that. Since it was a spell that was originally at the Ancient Castle, it was most likely not a spell to be abused. It didn’t help that the words Rainbow Dash told Fluttershy didn’t exactly sound like a good reason by context alone. The worst part was that Applejack’s words earlier were already proving that.

“N-nevermind… just don’t think about it…” Fluttershy concluded, shaking her head slightly.

“Huh…?” Rainbow Dash said, trying to regain her relaxed composure.

“Don’t worry about anything, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy assured her, lifting her wing away and using her muzzle to nuzzle Rainbow’s belly. “Just remember, no matter what happens, you’re welcome to stay here for as long as you like.”

Rainbow Dash sighed out, relaxing again due to Fluttershy’s gentle touches. Rainbow Dash started giggling when she felt Fluttershy’s lips pressing against her belly again, lightly kissing it and tickling her as a result.

Fluttershy let out multiple smooches on Rainbow’s belly, allowing her belly to contract and retract with each smooch. It brought joy to Fluttershy’s heart hearing her little breezie pet giggling with her high pitched sounds.

All Fluttershy wanted, was to keep Rainbow Dash happy and safe. As long as she wanted to live here, Fluttershy would make sure there was nothing else for her to be stressed about.

Fluttershy would do whatever she could to keep her pet breezie, just as long as Rainbow Dash still wanted to be one.

Fluttershy carried Rainbow Dash in her forelegs as she flew upstairs to take her to the bedroom. After the small bit of play time they had earlier, as Fluttershy would call it, the painful churning in Rainbow’s belly had subsided, thanks to the medicine. As a result, Fluttershy was taking Rainbow Dash to her room so that she could get some rest.

Upon entering the room, the first thing Fluttershy did was fly to the bed so that she could set Rainbow Dash down. But as she was being set down, she seemed hesitant to get out of Fluttershy's forelegs.

“Bed time already?” Rainbow Dash asked, holding annoyance in her tone as she glanced towards one of the windows leading outside. She could still see that there was daylight outside. “But, Celestia hasn’t even lowered the sun yet...” She tried to climb back into Fluttershy’s embrace, but Fluttershy nudged her further into the bed.

“Now Rainbow Dash, I still have some chores to do around the house,” Fluttershy said while Rainbow Dash tried to push past the yellow hoof that was pushing her. “You’ve been a great help so far, but now you need your rest.” Seeing her breezie pet still resisting, Fluttershy moved her hoof to push Rainbow Dash into laying down.

“But mom...” Rainbow Dash whined, letting her words represent how she was being treated. She attempted to keep her limbs standing, but Fluttershy’s hoof was too strong for her tiny body, causing her to drop her body on the bed.

“Now now, Dashie,” Fluttershy cooed as she ran her hoof along Rainbow’s mane, “you don’t want another tummy ache, do you?”

Rainbow Dash let out a small groan as her gaze shifted down towards the bed she was being pressed to lay on. She couldn’t help but blush embarrassingly with the cute word choices Fluttershy was expressing. She didn’t want to admit it, but Fluttershy did have a point. That ache in her stomach had exhausted her to the point that even if that hoof wasn't keeping her down, she still would have trouble getting back up. Sighing in defeat, she let her head drop to join the rest of her body, lying down with a frown.

“That’s a good little breezie,” Fluttershy praised her pet by nuzzling her muzzle against Rainbow’s little cheek. Rainbow Dash's breath slowed down from the affection. It made her feel a little better, but she was still depressed by the conclusion. “Keep being good and you’ll deserve a nice treat.” Fluttershy finished with her sweet tone.

Fluttershy soon left the bedroom area, leaving Rainbow Dash lying on the large bed alone. Rainbow Dash stared at the ceiling of the cottage, trying to get some shut eye due to her weakened form. But the sounds outside were preventing her from being able to sleep. It wasn’t because they were disturbing her, but rather they were attracting her attention.

Rainbow Dash moaned slightly as she picked herself on her limbs, bringing her gaze towards the closed window leading outside. With delicate flapping of her large wings, she flew herself over to that window.

Thankfully her belly no longer churned uncomfortably, but it almost felt like she would need more of medicine when the sight of the outside world came into her view. She landed her hind legs on the window sill, resting her fore limbs against the glass as she gazed outside. Her body yearned to be on the other side of that glass her hoof was sliding against.

Rainbow Dash's right ear twitched as she watched all of the animals outside. They looked like they were enjoying themselves, playing outside as the pleasant breeze rustled through their fur. Rainbow Dash's large wings fluttered a bit as she moaned sadly at the sight, wanting to enjoy the taste of that outside air.

Even if it was for her own safety, Rainbow Dash still wished that she could’ve at least been outside. It didn’t matter if she couldn’t exercise or move around anywhere, she just wanted to feel that refreshing wind blowing on her coat and wings. Her body tensed up when Fluttershy came into her view.

Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy’s mane blowing along with the breeze outside while she threw out food for the animals. Rainbow Dash didn’t care if she wasn’t allowed to help Fluttershy with the animals. As long as she was outside, she wouldn’t have minded the restrictions.

“Oh, Fluttershy...” Rainbow Dash looked down as she pressed her forehead against the glass that separated her from the outside air. “Why couldn’t you have at least taken me with you?” She rubbed her forehead against the glass, closing her eyes as she thought back to the words Fluttershy had said earlier. It made sense why Fluttershy didn't take her, but she still felt so depressed by that fact.

"Maybe this decision was a-..." Rainbow Dash winced, forcing herself to turn away from the window as she shook her head. She forced her mind to turn away from what she was thinking. Fluttershy ordered her to get some rest so that her stomach could settle a bit more, but now she couldn't even think about resting with that other thought in her mind, especially since her body was just too restless right now.

Rainbow Dash let out a groan after she had managed to get that thought out of her mind. She really needed something to distract her right now so that it wouldn't come back. Letting her wings lift her in the air, she did the only thing she could think to do at the time. Since she wasn't going to sleep right now, she decided to search around the bedroom.

If Rainbow Dash had any sort of relief, it was the fact that she could still move around and had plenty of space to fly. She glanced her eyes around the room as she flew around. She wasn’t exactly looking for anything, but there wasn't much else she could do at the time.

But strangely, Rainbow Dash’s curiosity was pointed towards the ceiling areas. Not only were there nesting areas sitting high on the lumber that kept the cottage stable, there were also a few birdhouses as well. In fact, the birdhouses seemed to be the most common house type within this cottage.

Rainbow Dash flew up to one of the birdhouses, the one closest towards the window and the bed. She sighed in awe as her interest was peaking. She couldn't resist tapping her hoof against the outer walls of the birdhouse as she floated. For some reason she was just oddly interested in this specific birdhouse. Her hoof was running along the walls as she flew around it, checking each side.

“W-what am I doing...?” Rainbow Dash asked no one in particular as she hovered to the front of birdhouse. Her right ear started twitching again as she decided to check the interior of this birdhouse, looking through the hole that was more than big enough for a breezie of her size.

However, due to the lighting, the interior of the birdhouse was quite dark. Rainbow Dash had to squint her eyes as she tried to focus her vision on what she could make out was inside. But while she was doing this, the twin antennas on her head flickered a bit before they suddenly lit up, illuminating the inside of the house.

Rainbow Dash blinked before her eyes widened at the sudden light she was emitting. Her eyes shifted to the antennas that were on her head. She let her instincts put more focus on the antennas, causing them to dim down, and then brighten them back up.

“Whoa... I didn’t know they could do that...” Rainbow Dash took advantage of this ability to see the interior of this house more clearly. She found that there was no sign of any other animal in here. There was a nesting bed inside, but no sort of fur or feathers decorating it, not even a smell. She couldn’t tell why she was so interested in it, but she just was.

Suddenly, Rainbow Dash felt something hit against her tail. Her body flinched slightly before she removed her head away from the birdhouse’s entrance, her antennas dimming out almost immediately.

“What the...” Rainbow Dash searched around the room for the source of whatever had hit her. But her question was soon answered when she caught sight of a certain bunny standing and tapping his foot on a desk next to Fluttershy’s bed.

“Angel?” Rainbow Dash hovered down to the desk to meet up with him. “What’s the big deal?” she asked.

Angel kept the stern look on his face as he pointed one of his crossed forepaws towards the ceiling behind Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash took a glance at the direction he was pointing to. Her eyes could only lead that Angel was pointing towards the birdhouse that she was checking earlier.

"What about that birdhouse?" Rainbow asked as she looked back at Angel. Angel started doing his little charade signals. He pointed to the birdhouse then back at Rainbow Dash. He then put his paws together, tilting his head to the side with his paws under it, making a snoring sound. When he finished with his charade, Rainbow Dash looked back at the birdhouse, then back at Angel.

"What? No. I don't wanna sleep now," Rainbow Dash replied. Angel just shook his head and repeated his charade. He pointed at the birdhouse then back at Rainbow Dash again. He then clasped his paws together, shaking them lightly in front of him while his expression frowned and his eyes pulsed pleadingly. He then did that same snoring motion with his body and finished it off by pointing back at the birdhouse. Rainbow Dash blinked before her head bounced with widened eyes.

"Oh, you're asking if I want to sleep there?" Angel nodded his head with a smile. Rainbow Dash this time didn't move her head as only her eyes glanced towards the birdhouse’s direction. She had to take a moment to think before she returned her eye's focus back at Angel. Nervously rubbing the back of her right ear, she carefully responded.

“I don’t know... that isn’t really my birdhouse.” All Angel did in response was pull something out that was somehow hidden behind the candle light on the desk they were on. It was a plate filled with all sorts of paint colors along with a few brushes. Angel seemed to be gesturing to Rainbow Dash to design the birdhouse to the way she liked it. Her head tilted backwards as she looked at that paint.

“Are you sure Fluttershy wouldn’t mind?” The response made Angel growl with a scowl on his face. He rushed up to Rainbow Dash, slapping her across the cheek and forcing her head to turn towards the birdhouse.

“Gack!” Rainbow Dash violently shoved Angel away, causing him to fall on the desk with a thud. “Alright, alright! I’ll take it! Yeash!” Rainbow Dash yelled before she took another look at the birdhouse, blowing steam out of her snout. She flew over to one of the brushes as she mumbled under her breath.

"(Fluttershy, you're way off.)" Rainbow Dash spoke in her breezie language again so that Angel wouldn't understand what she had to say. "(Angel is nothing like me.") She took one of the brushes in her limbs and started carrying it. The brushes were surprisingly light to her, so it didn’t take her much effort to stroke the brush on the paint before flying up to the birdhouse. "(In fact, with the way he's acting now, he's more like Pinkie Pie on a bad day.)"

______________________________________________________________________________

Rainbow Dash spent the rest of the day painting the birdhouse to the way she liked it. It wasn’t too difficult to do and Angel was proving to be a big help. Somehow he had brought the plate of paint and brushes next to the nest that laid on the ceiling lumbers. There was even a cup of water up there for cleaning the brushes after each use.

Rainbow Dash didn’t know how Angel did it, but she didn’t really care. Since they were up there, it made it all the more easier for her to design this birdhouse.

Angel had been helping not only by washing the brushes after each use, but also taking close looks at the birdhouse for any spot that was missed or out of place from the colors Rainbow Dash used.

But what Rainbow Dash was most surprised about was how Angel would offer a drink of fresh water or something to wipe her face of any sweat that came on her face as her mind worked through designing this birdhouse. She had no idea where Angel was getting everything, but just like Pinkie, it was best to not question it.

In fact, Rainbow Dash couldn't even compare Angel to Pinkie now. Right now he was being more like Rarity with all of this design and fashion knowledge.

The only thing that was bothering Rainbow Dash right now had everything to do with Angel. His behavior was very different compared to her first impression, yet somehow the same in certain areas.

Rainbow Dash also really wanted to ask what was up with that event that happened this morning, but it seemed best to leave it alone for now. After all, it seemed as if it was thanks to Angel that she was getting her own birdhouse now.

The birdhouse looked very nice to Rainbow Dash when she was done painting. The roof of the house was painted entirely red while the rest of the outer walls were painted with a cyan color that matched her coat. On both sides of the house, there was a lightning bolt with a large red outline to it. Inside the lines held the many different colors of the rainbow that striped it from top to bottom.

"Awesome," Rainbow Dash said as she took in the design of this birdhouse with a bright smile on her face. She had a reason to be interested in it now, but she still couldn't figure out why she was in the first place. Her right ear continued to twitch as she thought about this interest. Maybe because it felt more like home being able to sleep in higher ground like this. Or maybe it had something to do with her breezie instincts.

“Oh...” While in the middle of her thought, Rainbow Dash’s eyes suddenly flicked open when she felt something soft rubbing against the back of her right ear. “A-ahh... ha...” Her body started melting under the relaxing feeling. It felt like it was a feather that was gently rubbing the back of her ear.

Rainbow Dash’s body started floating slowly down as that feather brought a warm feeling to rush along her body. She could hear a soft giggling coming from behind her as her body practically forced itself to float down. She could recognize that giggling anywhere.

It was Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash didn’t even realize she had entered the room. Her body shivered at the relaxing touch, causing her to lose her grip on the brush and drop it. Fluttershy was leading her towards the bed as the strength in her body was leaving her to just relax, making her lose altitude.

Rainbow Dash’s mouth hung open before her limbs managed to touch the bed. The feeling of Fluttershy’s wing tip gently rubbing along the back of her right ear was making her drool. It felt very different from the rest of the contacts that Fluttershy had given her before, giving her a sudden sense of deja vu.

“Oh, Dashie, you cute little thing.” Rainbow Dash could hear more giggling coming from Fluttershy after she heard those words. She felt that wing tip move itself away as her body collapsed down on the bed.

Turning her body over, Rainbow Dash kept her eyes closed, panting as she nuzzled the back of her head against the bed. That odd feeling on her ear that she didn’t realize she had, went away.

“Oh Rainbow Dash, did you do this all by yourself?” Rainbow Dash slowly opened her eyes to look towards the direction of Fluttershy’s voice. She could see that Fluttershy was referring to the birdhouse that she had just finished painting. “It looks wonderful!” Fluttershy finished with delight.

*Pant* unh...” Rainbow Dash tried to say something, but was too breathless to do so. Confusion filled her mind when one of the words Fluttershy said registered to her.

“Oh, if only I had been here sooner, I would’ve loved to help you do this.” More confusion hit Rainbow Dash when she heard Fluttershy say that. She looked around the area where the lumber that hanged on the ceiling was at. Angel was nowhere to be seen, once again.

Fluttershy's attention was brought back to Rainbow Dash. There seemed to be a small box balanced on her back that she reached for with her muzzle, bringing it in front of her. She carried it in her fore hooves while she floated just above her breezie pet with a smile.

“I think you deserve your treat now.” Rainbow Dash’s breath moaned in awe at the sight of the box that Fluttershy was opening and showing her. She hadn’t thought much when she heard the mention of a treat earlier, but it looked like Fluttershy was keeping her word with it.

Before Rainbow Dash could find anything to say, Fluttershy placed the opening of the small box towards Rainbow Dash’s mouth, pouring a small amount of the contents inside. Rainbow Dash’s eyes closed as she took in the taste.

The treat was apparently many celery sticks that had also been chopped up to the point where they were more than just bite size for a breezie like Rainbow Dash. She chewed the celery as they entered her mouth, giving a pleasant moan at the taste of them.

After Rainbow Dash swallowed the first batch, Fluttershy picked her up and wrapped her close with a foreleg. Rainbow Dash snuggled on her back in the embrace of the foreleg as Fluttershy moved the box back to her mouth to continue the feeding.

“Eat up, Rainbow Dash. This was made especially for you,” Fluttershy said in a sing songy voice. She stood on her hind legs while her wings kept her balanced to feed her little breezie her treat.

Rainbow Dash moaned at the deliciousness that was pouring into her mouth. The celery sticks were chopped down so small that she was able to swallow them whole as soon as they entered her mouth. The lumps of the food she was swallowing could be seen sliding along her neck and disappearing when they reached her belly.

Fluttershy gave a few pauses with feeding Rainbow Dash, giving her a chance to chew her food and let her stomach settle before she continued pouring more food into Rainbow’s mouth. This was to prevent her from choking on her food.

Rainbow Dash let large moaning breaths leave her snout as the food filled her belly, causing it to expand slowly. She was amazed at all of the things that Fluttershy had been doing for her. She wasn’t sure whether she was more surprised by how Fluttershy found the time to make this treat for her, or the fact Fluttershy had this custom made specifically for her in the first place. Regardless, she continued to mindlessly swallow the sweet celery as they were poured into her mouth.

"Oh Dashie, you are such a cute little breezie. Yes you are." Rainbow Dash was too engrossed by the treat she was being fed to understand what Fluttershy was saying. Fluttershy's words practically turned into a relaxing melody to her ears. With her eyes closed, yet ears open, Rainbow Dash's only focus was the melody that relaxed her soul while a delicious treat that was sliding down her throat penetrated her taste buds, continuously expanding her belly as she was fed.

______________________________________________________________________________

Off in the sidelines, Angel watched as Fluttershy fed Rainbow Dash with that box of celery. He more so paid attention to Rainbow and how her belly continued to expand due to the fact that she was just taking in all of the food that she was being fed. Angel put a paw on his forehead and shook his head, letting a soft audible groan escape his nose. He couldn't stand the sight of Fluttershy treating Rainbow like this.

Angel left the area with one thought in mind. He had to try harder.

______________________________________________________________________________

Fluttershy pulled the box away one last time to stop the feeding, leaving Rainbow Dash to happily chew what remained in her mouth.

Rainbow Dash let out a delighted moan after swallowing that last batch. The feeling of her filled belly really satisfied her soul. She could feel her belly churn a little in an odd way, but it didn’t discomfort her. It did however cause her to let out a large belch, causing her head to jump. She gave a content sigh after plopping her head back down in Fluttershy's embrace afterwards.

Fluttershy giggled as she looked closely at her pet snuggling in her foreleg. She used her other hoof to lightly brush along the long flowing rainbow mane of her pet.

"Looks like somepony really loved her little treat. But it looks like she needs her beauty sleep now."

Rainbow Dash could hear that melody again. Her foreleg was slumped around her enlarged belly, slightly bouncing up and down due to her careful breathing. She had never felt so satisfied with such a delicious treat filling her belly like this.

Fluttershy helped her breezie pet fly up to the recently painted bird house that represented Rainbow Dash so well. Rainbow Dash was a bit disoriented when she was set inside. With half opened eyelids, her body stumbled a bit to adjust to the extra weight of all that celery within her belly.

Fluttershy soon came back to the birdhouse with a small blanket and pillow in hoof that matched as a size for Rainbow Dash's breezie form. The birdhouse already contained a nest as a bed for her, so the blanket and pillow were the only other things she needed.

After Rainbow Dash had managed to make her way to the nest, Fluttershy inserted the blanket and pillow inside the birdhouse and laid them on the nest. She tucked Rainbow Dash in, getting her head to rest on the pillow, allowing her wings to curl so that her whole body could be tucked comfortably underneath the blanket.

“Good night, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said in a soothing tone. “Welcome to your new home,” she finished before moving away from the bird house.

Rainbow Dash snuggled into her nest as she thought about what Fluttershy said. It just now occurred to her that Fluttershy practically gave this birdhouse to her as a home. It was almost as if Fluttershy had prepared it specifically for her and Fluttershy just waited for her to get settled into it.

That almost made sense to Rainbow Dash, except for the fact that she herself was the one who ended up painting it. Not to mention it wasn’t prepared with a pillow or a blanket before she went into it.

Maybe this birdhouse was just prepared for any animal that took an interest in it. If they wanted it, Fluttershy would allow them to live in it, as long as no other animal had occupied it before then. And Rainbow Dash was that very animal that took a liking to it.

Rainbow Dash slumbered off into a deep sleep with a bright smile on her face. She was a bit depressed about not being able to be outside for as long as she wanted. But Fluttershy more than made up for it with those pampering treatments. The more she did them, the more Rainbow liked them.

Even if she couldn't go outside, those petting moments would keep her happy.
