"SuporHaxorlicious" Has Invaded!
Twilight Sparkle was studying in the library as per her usual afternoon routine. Luckily, she had plenty of new books to distract her on such a boring day. Suddenly, a few words appeared out of nowhere.
"SuporHaxorlicious Has Invaded!" The abrupt message read.
"What the?" Twilight asked nobody as she read. The sound of the door being obliterated by a large sword was enough to spur her into action. That action being a quick run up the stairs to wake Spike. she barely caught a glimpse of the tall red being with the surprised looking mask barging into her home as she slammed the door behind her.
"Spike get up! I think we're being attacked!" Twilight yelled to Spike as he groggily woke up and made his way to the door.
"I'm sure it's nothing Twi. You probably just fell asleep reading a horror story...again." The tired dragon said as he reached for the nob.
"Spike no!" Twilight yelled in vain as the strange being from before kicked through the door and effortlessly punted the small dragon out the upstairs window. As she looked back at the invader she finally got a good look at him. He was wearing the aforementioned mask and some ridiculously large armor, the sword he wielded was at least his own height, he also had a strange kiteshield that was emanating a green aura. "W-Who are you?"
"..." The red phantom responded as he did an odd gesture that seemed to say 'Well, what is it?'
"uh." Twilight responded as she backed towards the window. She noticed that the sword had disappeared and the right hand of her attacker was on fire. Twilight was barely able to put up a protective bubble around herself as the invader snapped his fingers and the whole tree went up in black flames.
"Somepony help me!" She yelled as her bubble flew through the air and out into the town. She caught a glimpse of the mangled dragon on the ground near her burning home. She suppressed a sob as she spread her wings and dispersed her barrier. In just a few moments, she lost both her home and her trusted assistant...and friend.
"Whatcha need Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked as she easily caught up with her friend.
"There's a deranged creature trying to kill me!"
"Oh, is that why the library is on fire? I just thought the local Celestian cult was bringing the book burning to a new level."
"He killed Spike!" Twilight said through sobs as the pair landed.
"What?! Why would he do that if he was coming after you!?" Rainbow asked angrily as she turned back towards the Library.
"Rainbow don't! He'll kill you too!"Twilight said as Rainbow took off.
"Where is he? I'll bust him up, I'll-" Rainbow was cut off as a giant lance like object pierced her chest and she was launched in the opposite direction. The projectile then took its target several blocks further before embedding itself in the schoolhouse wall.
"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight cried as her friend was swatted from the air. The culprit didn't take many lengths to hide himself or the giant bow that he had launched the greatarrow from.
"You monster!" Twilight accused. In response the phantom only shrugged nonchalantly. He began to slowly approach his target that didn't flee this time.
"..." SuporHaxorlicious declared as he put his shield on his back and drew his Zweihander with both hands. Twilight could have sworn that she saw a small flash of fire as the phantom took a few practice swing.
"You think that I'm just going to let you kill me?" Twilight asked as she took up a defensive stance. All traces of her earlier fear had been replaced by rage and determination.
SuporHaxorlicious shrugged again as he walked towards his opponent. It didn't really matter what the small purple thing did, he wasn't going to waste his cracked red eye orb and let her live.
Twilight decided that her only possible advantages were probably speed and magic. She started the fight off by teleporting behind the red bastard and attempting to blast him with her magic. SuporHaxorlicious seemed to truly dislike his opponent being anywhere near his back. He quickly backflipped over the stunned princess and raised his sword over his head in a powerful swing. Twilight responded by bringing back her protective bubble causing the sword to harmlessly glance off. Unfortunately, the blade seemed to have had an after effect and the bubble seemed to melt and fizzle just from the contact with the blade.
Twilight quickly dispelled her shield and blasted the phantom in the chest with purple energy. SuporHaxorlicious was slightly staggered but quickly recovered and began swinging the massive blade like a mad man. Twilight could only dodge and teleport in response until the Phantom suddenly stopped for a moment and began to circle her as his stamina built back up.
"Leave her alone!" Spike yelled as he slowly dragged himself towards Twilight and her attacker.
"Spike!" Twilight yelled in happy surprise. While the dragon seemed to have multiple injuries, the fact that he was still alive was enough to lessen her grief.
"Don't worry Twilight, I sent a letter to Princess Celestia." Spike said as he put himself between the red phantom and Twilight.
"Spike, get out of here. I already thought I had lost you!" Twilight yelled as she gently moved Spike away from the scene. Her eyes returned to her opponent who's mask looked as surprised as ever.
"Twilight, I can help!" Spike shouted from the sidelines.
"No. I can fend him off until the Princess gets here." Twilight said calmly. "Go find Rainbow Dash, see if she's okay."
"Twilight, I don't think she is...I saw that thing hit her." Spike said somberly.
"Just go, you might be able to help her."
"..." Said SuporHaxorlicious as he shook his head. Just then, a piercing screech was heard as Owlowiscious swooped in from above at the attacker who calmly turned towards the sound and raised his now burning hand.
"Nooo!" Twilight and Spike yelled as the flash roasted owl splattered at the giant's feet.
SuporHaxorlicious repeated his 'Well, what is it?' gesture as the smell of burning owl permeated the air.
"Step away from my subjects." came a voice as the Phantom's back was pierced by a long horn. For once, the surprised look on the mask seemed accurate as SuporHaxorlicious fell to his knees. It seemed to all be over until the red phantom tightened his grip on his Zweihander. Celestia quickly responded by blasting the Phantom with her own magic, instantly decimating him. The large sword clattered on the floor as the dust settled.
"Princess Celestia!" Twilight yelled as she hugged her mentor.
"Twilight..." The Princess said somberly as she looked down at her apprentice. "I am very sorry for what you have experienced this day, but I am glad I arrived in time."
"But Rainbow Dash...Owlowiscious...they're gone." Twilight said as her eyes teared up.
"I'm afraid so Twilight, but this nightmare is over." The Princess said. "I'm afraid I have to go, there are similar things attacking Baltimare and Manehatten."
"I understand, I need to tend to Spike and tell the other girls what's happened." Twilight said as she blinked away tears.
"Farewell Twilight, I will visit again before the Funeral is held." Princess Celestia said as she took wing and flew north.
"I think I'll have a look at that sword." Twilight said as she turned around to find a strange golden message scrawled where the sword had been moments ago.
"THE LEGEND NEVER DIES!"
