Princess Celestia and Luna are the Princesses of Equestria, but something comes up...CELESTIA GOES MISSING!!! Now Luna is going to go on an adventure to find that...her search was all for nothing because when she arrived...it was somepony's funeral, can you guess? Enjoy (Short Story)
"Ready or not here I come" Celestia yelled as she looked around with mischief on her face, as she began to search the castle looking for her silly little sister, who happened to be hiding in the kitchen closet.
"Tia will never find me in here." Luna giggled. Celestia looked in Luna's bedroom to see if she was hiding under the bed, then Celestia was going to have some fun, she used her magic to see were Luna had gone, and it worked!
Celestia got to the kitchen and stopped the magic spell, "Since that gave me a hint, now I know she's in the kitchen, so I will find her on my own now."
Celestia looked around and saw no place to hide except... "Boo!" Celestia yelled as she slung the door to the closet open, but she wasn't there! Celestia giggled and used her magic to make Luna appear again, "I found you!" Celestia said.
"Aw man, I thought you would never find me!" Luna said, as she thought.
"Come on let's go to my room." Celestia said. Celestia and Luna flopped on the big bed, Luna giggled as Celestia began to tickle her little sister.
"Your Majesty!" A guard said bursting into the room. "There is an emergency. You student, Princess Twilight Sparkle sent us a letter saying that she and her friends went into the Everfree Forest and were captured by strange figures!" Princess Celestia put on her crown, horseshoes, and chest peace.
"Have you captain and his guards take me to the Everfree Forest immediately!" Celestia ordered.
"But,Tia, I thought we were_"
"I know but I have to go, there is a possibility of a new threat in Equestria, I'm sorry." Celestia interrupted, she walk over to luna and smiled, she hugged her sister and left.
Yeesh, when she puts on that crown she gets really up-right! Luna thought. Luna went to the library and found the book that she had started to read. A couple of hours pasted and Luna did a lot of things around the castle to keep her from being bored, but it didn't help, she was sooooo bored! "Why did Tia have to go!?" Luna said, "Twilight Sparkle can take care of her and her friends!" Luna went to her room and laid on the bed on the bed and went to sleep.
"Princess Luna! Help!" Luna woke up and looked around and gasped, she saw a very wounded guard on the floor in her doorway, inside Luna was freaking out!
Freak out! Or Stay Calm, Because Celestia is GONE!!!
"What!!!" Luna screamed as she looked at the wounded guard on the nurse bed in the castle,"What do you mean, she's gone?!" Luna was very scared now, because Celestia had gone missing!
"Princess Luna, let me tell you what happened." The guard said. Luna sat at the end of the bed as the guard began to tell her. "You see your Majesty we were coming through the forest when all of the sudden, all of the guards began to disappear, I was knocked out, and Celestia was fillynapped! When I woke up I was very wounded, I thought that I wasn't going to make it, but thankfully I did!" Luna still sat at the end of the bed using her magic to levitate a picture of Celestia and herself, "I suggest you go to save her, your Majesty."
Luna looked up from the picture and narrowed her eyes, "Oh,you bet I will!" Luna said beginning to leave the room. I owe it to Tia. In her favor, Twilight and her friends saved my life, and now, I'm going to save hers! Luna prepared to go to the Everfree Forest, in the mean time, kind of freaking out too.
"Hay! Get. Back. In. Your. CAGE!!!"
"Try and MAKE ME!!!" Rainbow Dash yelled one of the large wired figures for the keys the the big cage, that her friends were stuck in. The large figure used its magic to grab Rainbow Dash and slam the mare into the cage!
"Now, your butt better stay in that cage!!" The other figures began to laugh at Rainbow as she stood up feel back down a phew times, because she sprained her ankle when she got slammed in the cage.
"Jerk!" Rainbow Dash said trying to walk around the cage, but she again fell, "Aw,man! This so boring! I could be reading a Daring Do book right now! Urg!!" Rainbow Dash's was indeed bored.
"Well, as long as we're here we won't be doing anything Rainbow Dash." Twilight said flatly,then something caught her attention, "Look!" Twilight said with excitement,"It's Princess Celestia ... but she's unconscious!" Twilight said,
Fluttershy began to sob,"So...who is... going to...save..all of ...us?" Applejack put a hoof on her shoulder,
"Someone will sugarcube, someone will." Applejack said.
"I'm on my way!" Luna said,as she trotted through the deep dark forest. Hours pasted and Luna was very tiered, and then she came across a camp she saw strange figures and she saw the Elements in one cage and her sister in another! Who was very dirty and beet up.
Luna gasped and she recognized the figures! When she was Nightmare moon she created small alicorn Nightmares! Luna thougt that when she changed back,they disappeared,but she was wrong! Luna looked around.
"I hope Luna is ok." Celestia said with a sigh, then she saw a Blue alicorn in the bushes, "Luna!?" Celestia said quietly. Luna crept slowly through the bushes, she used her magic to make herself become invisible.
She walked up to the Nightmare with the keys to the cage,she grabbed the keys and walked over to Celestia and the invisible mare said, "Hi Tia." Luna said, as she slowly unlocked the cage.
"Luna, what are you doing here? I want you to leave immediately, it's not safe here!" Celestia warned here little sister,
but Luna did not listen, "No way am I leaving you!" Luna said as the cage door unlocked. Celestia sighed and used her magic to turn invisible. The Nightmares immediately noticed that Celestia was gone,they were searching carefully.
Luna ran over to the 6 friends and said, "Hi guys." All of them looked around and saw nothing, but Twilight felt that somepony was there.
"Hello." she said with hesitation,
"Twilight, it's me Luna!" Luna began to unlock the cage, "I will turn you all invisible, hold on." Luna said. The 6 ponies stood still and hoped that it would work. Luna's horn began to glow, and they all turned invisible. The Nightmares now noticed that the 6 were gone! They searched carefully as all the ponies escaped. They decided to remain invisible incase one of the Nightmares noticed any tracks.
As they approached the forest exit, a NIghtmare stood in their path. Luna assuming that the Nightmare could not see them, she attempted to go around her, but the Nightmare moved to block Luna from their path. The Nightmare's horn began to glow and the ponies became visible again.
"Nice try!" The Nightmare said with a smirk, "Get them!!" the Nightmare yelled. Just then a lot of Nightmares came running toward them.
Luna could not believe the words that came out of her mouth next, "Charge!!!" Luna yelled,
but nopony bugged, "WHAT!!!" All the mane 6, said at the same time.
"We have to defend ourselves, Charge!"
Rainbow Dash evilly smiled and responded with."Let's kick some tail!!!" Just then Rainbow shot up in the air and charged at great speed, Luna and the others ran into the sea of Nightmares, hopping to succeed!
"Ahhhhhhhhh!" Luna screamed as one of the Nightmares broke one of her wings. Luna looked around her, she was surrounded, on of the Nightmares' horns started to glow, and to Luna, the ground beneath her hooves seemed to be swept out from under her! "Ahhh!" Luna feel to the bottom of the pit, it was... the Castle!? Luna looked around,"What am I doing here? I thought I was in the forest." Luna said, standing on her wobbly hooves.
She was in her bedroom! Luna walked out of her bedroom and went down the hall, nopony seemed to be in the Castle, nopony but her. She walked to the throne room, Luna shivered, "It's so c-cold in here!" Luna saw ice forming on the floor and ceiling! All of the sudden a bright light appeared, when it was gone Luna gasped at the seen around her, there were ponies filling the room, they were dancing and talking. Luna went up and sat on the throne, and then a trumpet sounded, and the doors to the throne room opened. It was Princess Celestia!
Luna jumped off the throne and ran to her sister. Celestia's horn started to glow, and as it did, the ice melted away. Luna went to hug her sister, but her hooves slipped right through Celestia! "What the!!!"
Luna said as she tried to hug her again, but again her hooves slipped right through. Luna sat and cried,she thought of how excited she was to see her sister, and that Celestia wouldn't get to have that same excitement of seeing her.
Again Celestia's horn began to glow,with a lot of light shinning, Luna looked up to see all the ponies and Celestia disappearing, Luna reached up to touch the last bit of light,but before she could, it was gone. Luna dropped to the floor, shivering and crying, not noticing that the castle around her was dissolving, to revel a battle of a lot of Nightmares, and a few ponies.
Luna looked up and gasped, as she looked around, she cried out in horror as she saw her sister fall,dead. Luna raced over, knocking a few Nightmares out of her way as she raced toward her sister. "Tia, no!!! Get up!!! GET UP...PLEASE, TIA!!!" Luna screamed as she cried immensely.
Princess Twilight rushed over to see what the problem was, Twilight gasped at the seen before her. With tears in her eyes, she sat down next to Luna. "I'm s-so s-sorry Luna." Twilight said between sobs.
Twilight gathered the 5, her horn began to glow, all of their cutie marks glowed, representing their Elements of Harmony. Then a rainbow shot from Twilight's horn, surrounding al of the Nightmares, destroying them.
The 6 bowed down to Celestia in respect, and look Luna home. Celestia was buried in the Castle Graveyard, witch Luna visited each day.
Luna was so depressed, that she hardly left her room. Twilight stayed at the Castle to give Luna some company, but it didn't work. "Oh Tia, I wish you were still here." Luna said as she looked out her window. Luna raised the sun and moon for many weeks with a heavy heart, always remembering the day that Celestia died.
One night, Luna went to the moon. She walked around in the white dust, talking to herself, questions raced through her mind. Why can't Tia be here? Why did she have to go? How did the Nightmares do that to me? Why did they kill Tia instead of both of us? Luna was so depressed that she didn't eat, drink, or sleep.
When Luna's one year anniversary of being the Princess of Equesrtia Night came, all of the sudden, the sun rose, and became level with the moon! Twilight, knowing that something was wrong, rushed to Luna's room. She opened the door, Twilight's jaw dropped, Luna lie on her bed, with a dagger in her hoof! Twilight's eyes welled up with tears as she read the note that lay next to the Princess. The note said: Dear, Twilight Sparkle
I can not bear the fact that my beloved sister is dead. So tonight, I will take my life. Twilight Sparkle, I leave you with Equestria. You have the leadership, and confidence, that a true Princess of Equestria has. You are one of my closest friends, remember that always, as you read this letter.

Twilight thought of Luna, as she watched the Princess of the Night be buried, right next to Celestia!
