Chapter I A strange new world

“… What the… where am I? Everything is so… calmed… so quiet… what is this…? Is it… grass…? I need to open my eyes…” Then I opened my eyes, it took me a long time to recover from that fall.

I guess the grass broke my fall, otherwise I don’t think I would survive a fall of that altitude...

The air was cool, and the sun was giving a nice and warm light, I felt… peace, I never felt this before, but, there was something wrong…I knew there was something wrong, but I was not really sure...

But somehow I managed to wake up like nothing, I was taller, and I was stronger, so I hurried to a small pond that was near me and I saw me… a new me…

My hair was longer, I was taller now and my arms were stronger, and my eyes… they had changed to blue and if that wasn’t enough… I HAD A FREAKING HORN!

I never thought this could happen, but… I liked my new look I don’t know why, but I liked my new body, even my horn… it was nice…

“Nice… but… where am I? Am I in the same world as before? Was that machine just a teleporter? Or did I really go to another Universe? I’m confused… I better go look for someone…” And so, I went south… to find someone who can tell me where the hell I was… “Where the hay am I??...” Then I got confused…

“ ’What the hay’… Why the hay I say that? “What!?” Somehow it felt more… appropriate, I don’t know why, but I somehow felt it was better than saying ‘what the hell’, so I kept it.

After a couple of minutes, I got to a town which seemed very nice, and there were people there, so I decided to go there and find a place to sleep and something to eat and drink.

After a while I came up with a sign at the outsides of the village: “Ponyville” how… odd, but still, I went in, I was so thirsty that I could drink a gallon of water.

I found out something… interesting… there were some of them who… could fly! They had wings and they could fly from one place to another…

I would have liked to be able to fly, but instead I got this horn, so far it has been useless, but I don’t really know how to use it, so it may be more useful than I believe it is.

When I entered Ponyville, I found myself with a lot of strange people, some had a horn like me, but others had wings on their backs which they used to fly, and some didn’t have either wings, nor a horn, they were simpler ones.

It was interesting, and they all seemed to know each other and like each other, and I also noticed a great lack of males, they were majorly women, but there were some men around.

Later on, I saw a girl, she was using purple shades and a pair of headphones, she seemed nice, so I decided to talk with her.

“Hey, hello, my name is Night Wolf” the blue haired girl looked at me, she seemed confused.

“Hey! Hello, I’m Vinyl Scratch! Nice to meet you! Are you new around here? I don’t remember seeing you around” She said.

“Yes, I’m new, I came from north” I said.

“Nice, so, you’re from Canterlot?” then I got nervous since I didn’t know where Canterlot was, I could tell her the truth, but I was sure she would not believe me, so I decided to lie a little.

“Err… yeah, I’m from Canterlot” she looked excited about my answer.

“Cool, I have a very special friend who lives in Canterlot, maybe you have heard about her, her name is Octavia” then I got even more nervous, I didn’t know her, but by the look at Vinyl’s face and how she described Octavia, she seemed to be very important at Canterlot, so I decided to tell her another lie.

“Oh, yes! Octavia, I’ve heard a lot about her!” I lied.

“Oh really? Wow, and here I thought she was only famous at the orchestra, but now I see she is very famous there!” She said, surprised.

“Yeah, but hey, I wanted to ask you a favor, could you please give me a tour around Ponyville? It’s my first time here” I asked her.

“Sure! Let’s go, I’ll take you around, first stop, Sugarcube Corner!”

Then we went to that place she mentioned, we saw a couple of people who seemed to know Vinyl, I guess she was kind of famous around, I´m glad I met her, so I decided to try becoming a good friend of hers.

After some minutes of walking and meeting other citizens, we finally made it to Sugar Cube Corner, it was shaped like a giant cake, or a giant cupcake, something like that, by logic, I got the idea that there they sold cakes.

“This is Sugar Cube Corner, a bakery where you can buy cakes, cupcakes and other kind of stuff, here lives Mrs. Cupcake and Mr. Carrot, as well as the completely random Pinkie Pie!, man, that girl is so random that she can pull a cannon out of her ass!” Vinyl said.

I couldn’t hold my laugh about that, it just sounded so wrong “Hey… what’s so funny…? … oh… I get it… HAHAHAHA, I didn’t realize how wrong that sounded HAHAHAHAHAHA” we laughed a lot, and then a girl with really fluffy pink hair suddenly came out of nowhere and hugged both of us.

“HAHAHA, what are we laughing at guys?” said the pink-haired girl.

“Oh, it’s you Pinkie! It was nothing, actually, we are here to see you!” said Vinyl, after a couple of seconds I finally realized that girl was Pinkie Pie.

“Oh, hey Pinkie Pie, I’m Night Wolf, I’m new here, nice to meet you!” Then Pinkie suddenly got surprised and she ran very fast and disappeared right behind a light pole…

“Ok… that was very… Random…” I said.

“See? What did I tell ya? She is so random, but very funny, and she makes the best parties of whole Ponyville, and she is probably preparing a party for you!” She said, excited by the idea.

“A party? For me? But… why? She doesn’t even know me!” I asked, intrigued.

“Yeah, she doesn’t, but she always does this kind of stuff with the new people that come to Ponyville, she did with Twilight… Oh! By the way! We need to keep going, you will see Pinkie later, but now, we better go to the next stop, Carrousel Boutique, where Rarity lives” Vinyl said, she didn't lose her enthusiasm.

This whole place was very weird, but still, it was better than my world, at least here people made parties for newcomers…

We went to Carrousel Boutique, on our way there, I saw a couple of shops and some houses, they all seemed similar, but different at the same time, it was nice.

But something really caught my glimpse… there was a shop that was named Quills and Sofas… I believe they sold Quills and…Sofas? But why would someone sell only two things, and worse, two things that don’t have anything in common? Well, I don’t know, and I don’t think I want to know.

On our way to the boutique, Vinyl and I talked a lot, we got to know each other and I realized we had a lot in common, I liked her, she was funny, energetic, and 'explosive' from moment to moment, but not explosive in a bad way.

I finally made a friend, it was quick though, I don't know why she liked me that much, but it was nice having a new friend so fast.

After a minute or two, we saw Rarity’s house, The Carrousel Boutique, it was the only house that seemed to be a house for a princess, so my first thought was that Rarity maybe was of the egocentric type, I didn’t really like that kind of girls, actually, I hate that kind of girls, but still, I may be wrong, so I decided not to make prejudices and try to know her better.

“And here we are, this is Carrousel Boutique, here lives the best designer of whole Ponyville, Rarity, we should enter, who knows, maybe she will make a suit for you!” Said Vinyl.

I got interested on that… a change of clothes wouldn’t be bad.

“Yes, that would be nice, maybe…” a scream that came from the Boutique didn’t let me finish my sentence, it sounded like it was something important, so we decided to get is fast, then we saw a purple haired girl who was screaming.

“OH NO!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME! OF ALL THE THINGS THAT COULD HAPPEN, THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING!” I got scared, so I decided to ask her what was going on.

“Hey, what’s going on? Are you ok?” Then she looked at me anxious.

“Oh dear, I could use your help, could you please help me? Pleaaasee??” She asked me, very scared.

This was new for me, someone asking ME for help? It’s usually the opposite, but I decided to help her.

“Yeah, what do you need?” I asked her, worried.

“Oh, please, could you help me find my…” and then she calmed down out of nowhere.

“Oh, wait, there it is” she said, right before she went to a desk and took a piece of shiny cloth.

“So… was that the problem?” I asked, confused.

“Well, yes my dear, the problem was that I couldn’t find this piece of Golden Silk, it’s very hard to craft and I need it for a special order, but here it is, so it’s ok now” She said, before she went back to the mannequin.

I couldn’t believe that she was so worried about that cloth, It looked very rare, yes, but she was screaming like if her mother had died or something like that.

“Ok… anyway, hello, I’m Night Wolf, I’m new here in Ponyville, nice to meet you” I said to her.

Rarity looked like she realized something “Oh, that explains why I haven’t seen you around here, you are new, and from where do you come?”

“I come from Canterlot” I lied again, these lies will accumulate and kill me soon I thought.

Rarity got surprised by my answer, “Oh darling! You come from Canterlot!? Oh my, I love Canterlot, tell me, and how is Canterlot these days?” She asked, excited.

“Err…” I didn’t really know what to tell her, I have NEVER been on Canterlot, NEVER, so how would I know how it was these days?

So I decided to tell the thing that always works “It’s nice, sunny days and cool nights, you know, the usual” I said, trying to hide my lie tone from Rarity.

She looked confused, like if what I had said didn’t match with what she knows, oh man, I was nervous, I knew it wouldn’t work.

“Mm… ok, seems Canterlot hasn’t really changed, but there’s som…” she said but then a loud noise was heard in the back of the Boutique “Oh, Im so sorry, I’ll go see what’s wrong” Rarity went to the back of the Boutique to check what was that noise.

“Sweetie Belle!! What are you doing!? … Wait… is that my golden silk!? Why did you cut it!?” Rarity said, very angry.

Then another voice could be heard, it was the voice of a little girl.

“I’m sorry sis, I wanted to help you with your request, and I thought I could use some of your golden silk to reduce your work a little…” The young voice said.

“But Sweetie Belle! That was for an important request from a very important client! Oh dear Celestia, it will take forever to make more!” Rarity said, with a very stressed voice.

“I’m sorry sis” The young voice said, she sounded sad.

“Just, go, I’ll go make some more…” Then I saw a young girl with pink and violet hair go up the stairs of the Boutique, she seemed… sad.

A couple of seconds later, Rarity came back “Oh, I’m sorry darling, I believe our chit-chat will have to be postponed, I have to make more Golden Silk before it’s too late, but let’s talk again sometime, ok?” She said with a touch of desperation on her.

“Ok, we will talk later, I really hope you manage to make that silk on time” I said, I have to admit I was pretty worried.

“Thanks” and she went out the door that was the moment we decided to go.

“Ok, I guess we could… I dunno, look, we have a couple of options here, we could go visit Twilight Sparkle, she just became an alicorn a couple of days ago, we could also meet Rainbow Dash, but I’m not pretty sure where she is… but she can’t be hard to find, and we could go see Applejack, she lives at sweet apple acres, but it’s kinda off the road, and there is also Fluttershy, she is usually in the woods or at her house, so… who will it be? Or… we could call it a day and get some rest, I believe you must be hungry for that long walk from Canterlot to here aren’t you?” Vinyl said, I could see she was trying to get over the akward situation we just went through.

“Well…” I was kind of tired, but I wanted to meet at least one more, you know, to have some friends and maybe having someone to rely on, “Ok, what if we go search Rainbow Dash?” I said.

“Mm… ok, let’s see… oh, I know where she may be, she must be somewhere around Ponyville, maybe resting on a cloud or something…”

Resting on a cloud? Was that even possible? “Ok… let’s go” said Vinyl and so we decided to look for Rainbow Dash.

After a while, we found her, she was actually sleeping on a cloud, and I couldn’t believe a person could sleep on a cloud, but I guess that was not the weirdest thing I’ve seen around here…

“Hey, Rainbow Dash!” Vinyl yelled so that Rainbow could hear her, Rainbow woke up and looked at us and then she pulled out her wings and flew right to us.

“Oh, hey, what’s up?” Rainbow Dash said with a cool-girl tone.

“Hey Rainbow, I’m just showing this friend Ponyville, and he wanted to meet you” Then she stared at me, and she smiled.

“Hey buddy, I’m Rainbow Dash, the fastest Pegasi you will ever see” She said, I could see she was bragging about her skills.

“Hey, nice to meet you, I’m Night Wolf” I said, the most polite and cool way I could.

“So… what brings you to Ponyville?” asked Rainbow, and again, I had to lie, I mean, what else could I do?

“Well… I came for… nothing in special, I only came to see this place and maybe live here for a while” I lied, Rainbow seemed confused, and then she asked me another question.

“Ok… so, from where do you come?” she asked.

“Well… I come from Canterlot” I lied, again, then she seemed even more confused.

“Wait, you live in Canterlot, but you decided to move to Ponyville? That’s not something you don't see every day, but still, how did you find Ponyville? Did it fill your expectations?” she asked, looks like she was suspecting about my answer.

“Yeah, it really did, I like it a lot, but… I still don’t have anywhere to sleep or… any money for that matter…” I said, trying to sound helpless.

Vinyl looked at me and she said “Hey, and why don’t you stay in my house? At least until you find a work and a place to stay” Vinyl said, she was really trying to help me.

“Really? Would you do that for me?” I asked, surprised for her kindness.

“Of course, I mean, you are very funny, but of course, you will have to pay me rent.” She said, I believe she was expecting me to accept.

"But..." I replied "I don't have money..."

"Don't worry" she replied "You can pay me once you get a job."

“Seems fair enought, thanks!” I said, gratefully.

“No problem” Vinyl said, with a big smile on her mouth.

Then Rainbow Dash decided to get in the conversation “Hey guys, I gotta go, I have some clouds to clear and stuff to do, so, seeya!” she flew to another place, she was pretty fast.

“So… what do you wanna do next?” Vinyl asked me.

I was getting really tired, I just wanted some sleep. “I guess we could call it a day? I’m getting really tired, I could use some sleep and maybe some food” I said.

She also seemed a little tired, “Ok, I could also use some sleep and something to eat, let’s go to my house, I have some cupcakes and apple cider we can eat and drink” And we set course to Vinyl’s house.

“Wow, your house is awesome!” That’s what I said when I saw Vinyl's, it was great, and it had some music there for the ambient.

“Do you like this kind of music?” I asked.

She seemed surprised by my question “Like it? I make it! I’m also known by the name DJ-P0n3, ‘cause I’m the best DJ of all equestria!” She said, I can be wrong, but maybe she was bragging a little, still, I was surprised.

“Really? Wow, that’s awesome! but anyway, what about that food? I’m beginning to feel hungry…” I asked, trying to be polite.

“Oh, yeah, I nearly forgot, just sit here, I’ll be back in a moment” and so I sat at her table, it was blue with purple chairs, it was a cool place to live, the only thing I hoped was that she turned off the music when we would go to sleep.

She didn’t take long to come back, and she brought some mugs of Apple cider and a couple of apple pies, and she levitated them, and then I realized what the horn was for, it’s for magic! How could I not think of that? It was obvious, I decided to ask her about it, and she seemed to be very confused.

“Huh? What do you mean? Have you never used magic?” She asked me, intrigued.

“Well… no, I haven’t…” I answered, honestly.

“Wow, you come from Canterlot, the city of Unicorns and magic, and you haven’t used magic yet?? Now that’s something weird, but anyway, we better leave that for tomorrow when you meet Twilight Sparkle, since her special talent is magic, after all” she told me.

“Special talent?” I asked, confused.

“Yeah, you know, her Cutie Mark? ... wait a sec… you don’t have a Cutie Mark yet!?” she asked.

“Err…” I mumbled.

“Here, let me see your shoulder…” she said and then she rolled my sleeve up and she got surprised.

“Wow! I’ve never seen someone your age without a Cutie Mark! It’s so weird!” she said, looking very surprised.

“And do you have your Cutie Mark?” I asked, to see how a Cutie Mark should look like.

“Of course I do, look” she rolled her sleeve up and I saw a music symbol, was that a Cutie Mark?

“And what do Cutie Marks symbolize?” I asked since I was curious.

“Wow, you are very weird, but anyways, a Cutie Mark symbolizes your special talent, like being a carpenter, a singer or even an athlete, or like mine, which shows that my special talent is music, every one of our age has their Cutie Mark, well… everyone except for you, I guess you haven’t found your talent yet, but don’t worry, it won’t take long, you will get it when you least expect it, but for now, I think it would be better for you to get some sleep, you seem pretty tired, and I’m tired too, so, let’s go to sleep.”

And so we decided to go to sleep.

“This is a very weird place, people can fly, some can use magic, and everyone has a strange tattoo-like thing on their shoulders that represented their special talent, now that is some weird stuff, but… I guess it has more sense than I can think of, maybe I’ll get used to it… but for now, I will sleep… I don’t know what else I will find out tomorrow…” I thought.

And I was right, I could have never imagined what would happen the next day, it was so crazy that well… It changed my whole life forever…

New Friends

“Hey… wake up… Wake up Night Wolf!” A female voice said.

I was still sleeping, but I could hear her voice, she wanted me to get up, I didn’t want to, I was so comfortable, the bed of the room Vinyl had lent to me was so comfy, I wanted to stay there, but I knew I had to get up, so I made my best and I got up with a heavy yawn.

“You finally woke up, you really took your time huh?” I was still sleepy.

“Yeah, this bed is so comfortable, thanks again for letting me stay here, I really appreciate that” I said, making an effort for not falling asleep again.

“No problem, after all, we are friends, right?” friends… I never got somepony to call a friend other than Ayla.

I wonder what she was doing, maybe she has got some new friends, or maybe she tried the portal herself… who knows, but for now, I was here, with Vinyl.

“So… are we friends?” she asked, again.

“Oh, yeah, sorry, I got lost, of course we are friends!” I gave her a big smile to show her I was telling the truth, she giggled.

“He he, that’s great! Ok, but now that I think about it… I wonder why Pinkie Pie didn’t make your party… I mean, she never takes more than a day for making a party… anyway, who do you want to meet next? We can go with Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres, or to Twilight’s Books and Branches Library or Fluttershy’s cottage, what do you say?” Vinyl said.

I felt like going with Applejack, I like apples, and maybe she could give me some, who knows.

“Let’s go with Applejack.” I said, sure about my answer.

“Mm… ok, we should get there in 5-10 minutes, depending on what we find on the way” Vinyl said.

She was a real friend, I liked her, but I couldn’t stop feeling like something was missing… maybe it was nothing, so we went to Sweet Apple Acres.

After a while, we finally got there, it was awesome, all the apples and the wonderful trees, and there I saw a blonde girl; she was gathering some apples, and there was a man, he was also blonde, also he seemed like a very tough guy. We entered the Sweet Apple Acres, and we got received by a redhead young girl.

“Hey ya’ll, welcome to Sweet Apple Acres!” she gave us a big smile “I see ya are new to this place, right?” The little girl said.

She was talking to me, she obviously knew I was new around here.

“Yeah, I’m new around here, my name is Night Wolf, and yours?” I asked, trying to make a good impression.

“I’m Apple Bloom, nice to meet ya!” The young girl said.

“Nice to meet you too Apple Bloom” I said.

She was a cute little girl, I could imagine she was Applejack’s little sister, I mean, both their names start with Apple, they must be sisters.

“Hey Apple Bloom, can I see your sister?” I asked Apple Bloom.

“Oh, ya mean Applejack? What do ya want with her? Are ya her new boyfriend?” She asked me.

“No! I haven’t even met her!” I said, I admit my face blushed a little.

Apple Bloom seemed to disbelieve me.

“Ok… anyways, she is gathering some apples for the apple cider, over there” she said.

Pointing to the apple trees, so I could guess the blonde girl I saw before should be Applejack, so we decided we should enter and talk to her, we walked a for a while searching for her, and then I saw her.

“Hey!, you must be Applejack! Nice to meet you!” I said.

Applejack turned around to see me, she was surprised and she gave me a smile.

“Hey partner, nice to meetcha! As ya already said I’m Applejack, the most reliable of ponies of whole Ponyville! What’s yer name?” Applejack asked.

“Oh, I’m Night Wolf, I’m new around here” I said.

“Ah, that explains why I didn’t recognize ya, so… what brings ya to Ponyville?” She asked.

I thought I had to lie, but still, I didn’t have to lie, at least not a very big lie.

“Well… I have to admit that what brought me here majorly were your Apples, they are the best apples I’ve tasted in my whole life!” I said.

Applejack’s face began to blush.

“Wow… I didn’t know mah Apples were THAT good, thank ya” She said, surprised.

“I only speak the truth, I love your apples” Applejack seemed to be very happy “Well, thank ya Night Wolf, I…” Then the tough-looking guy came with a big basket filled with apples.

“Hey Big Macintosh! Did ya end up picking the apples from the south zone?” said Applejack.

Big Macintosh had a very calmed expression on his face.

“Eyup” He said.

That’s everything he said, eyup.

“Great, and did ya had any trouble getting them?” Applejack asked.

“Nope” Big Macintosh said.

‘Nope’ I guess he is of the silent type.

“Hey, this is Night Wolf, he’s new in here” Applejack said.

Big Macintosh looked at me and placed his hand in front of me, probably wanting a handshake.

“Hey, I’m Night Wolf, nice to meet you Big Macintosh!” I said.

I shook his hand, man he really gave a tough handshake, my hand hurt a little after it.

“Eyup, nice to meet ya” He said.

Mm… I think that’s biggest amount of words I will ever hear from him I thought.

“Hey Night Wolf, where are yer staying?” Applejack asked me.

“Oh, I’m staying at Vinyl’s place…” I said.

Applejack looked around and then asked me.

“Oh really? And where is she?” She asked me.

When she mentioned it, I realized she wasn't here… where was she?

“I don’t know, I thought she was behind me… I’m going to go look around for her, that way I can let you finish your job, I’ll see you later” I said.

“Sure, we’ll see ya later” Applejack said.

I made a fast goodbye signal and went looking for Vinyl, she was hard to find, but when I did, I found her at the main entrance of Sweet Apple Acres, maybe waiting for me.

“Hey Vinyl, what are you doing here?” I asked.

She looked at me with her shining purple shades.

“Well… I didn’t want to bother you while you introduced yourself to Applejack, and I also had to check some stuff on my house, so, how did everything go?” She asked.

“Well, she was nice, and her brother was pretty tough and silent” I said.

“Oh, you also met Big Macintosh? Yeah, he is pretty strong, but kind of shy”She said.

“Well, shy is not the word I would use, but alright” I was pretty eager to meet another person, probably Twilight.

“So, come on, let’s go meet Twilight, she is the closest one to this place since Fluttershy is on the other side of town” Vinyl said

“Ok, let’s go” I said

I wondered how would Twilight look like, Vinyl told me on the way there a lot about her, and that she was incredible with magic, I was excited to meet her, maybe she could teach me how to use my own magic! Anyway, I couldn't wait to see her.

On the way to Twilight’s house, we found a girl who was very friendly, her name was Derpy, her eyes were… unusual, I have to admit that I got scared the first time I saw her, but I managed to get to her before she went, I apologized to her and she forgave me, and after talking and getting to know each other, we became friends, and then we decided to keep going, but she wanted to go with us, and we agreed, I really like her company.

So there we were, outside of Twilight Sparkle’s House, it was basically a big tree with windows, you could see books by the windows, I went and knocked the door, a young guy with green hair opened the door

“Hey, I’m Night Wolf, I’m new around here and I wanted to talk with Twilight Sparkle, is she home?” I asked

The young guy seemed a little offended

"Yeah, she’s home, name’s Spike by the way, thanks for asking…” He said

Man, how could I forget asking for his name? I thought

“Oh, sorry, my bad, nice to meet you Spike, it’s just… I am so eager to meet Twilight so she can teach me how to use my magic, I forgot to ask for your name” I explained "Can you forgive me?"

Spike stopped for a moment, he was thinking “Mm… ok, I forgive you, anyways, get in, Twilight is in there, shelving some of her books” He said, pointing at the main door

“Thanks” I said before I got inside the tree

Derpy and Vinyl began to talk with Spike “Hey Derpy and Vinyl, are you here with Night Wolf?” asked Spike to the girls

“Yeah, he is new around here, so I decided to show him around town” said Vinyl

“Yes, and I’m here because Night Wolf and I just became friends!” said Derpy, with lots of enthusiasm

I couldn’t listen to the rest of the conversation because I saw a purple haired girl there, shelving a couple of books

“Hey, you must be Twilight, right?” I asked

She stopped placing the books on the shelves and she flew towards me, she is the first one that I see that had a horn and wings at the same time, she must be important

“Oh, hey, you’re Night Wolf, right?” She asked

I was surprised she knew my name “Um, yeah, that’s me, how do you know my name?” I asked

“Oh, Pinkie told me there was a new citizen here at Ponyville and that she was planning a surprise party for him, and since I didn’t recognize you, I could imagine you were Night Wolf, so, what brings you to Ponyville?” she asked me

“Meh, nothing special, what does bring me here to your library is that I’m searching for your help” I said

She seemed confused

“Well… What do you need?” She asked me

“Well, you see… I want your help on using my magic” I said

“Well, using your magic is very simple, all we need to do is to see your Cutie Mark and then we will be able to see in what you can use your magic easily, so, show me your Cutie Mark” She said

“There is another problem… I don’t have a Cutie Mark” I admitted

I rolled my sleeve to show her, and she startled

“WHAT!? How can this be possible? Everypony must have their Cutie Mark at this age, why not you?” She said, she was kind of scared

I honestly didn’t know

“I don’t know, this is why I came to you, I heard you are the best with magic in all Ponyville, I thought you could help me” I said

She began to think, I guess my problem was pretty big “Mm… I can try, but first I must check on my books if there is something about a lack of Cutie Mark on a person, it may take a while, so for now, why don’t you go see Fluttershy? If I’m not wrong, you haven’t talked to her yet, I think you will like her, I’ll see you later” She said

Right after telling me this, she went to look around, probably searching for a book with the information she needed

“Ok, see you later Twilight” I said, but I think she didn't listen to me

I was kind of sad for not getting help with my magic, but I realized she was going to try, so it wasn’t a total failure, and there were Derpy and Vinyl, talking with Spike outside the house

“Hey Night Wolf! How did everything go?” asked Vinyl

“Yeah, did Twilight manage to help you?” asked Derpy

“Well, she said she was going to try, but she needed to check the books she had for a solution to my problem” I said

They got a little sad for my answer, I guess they really care about me huh?

“Oh, well too bad, maybe she will be able to help you later, but for now, I’ll have to leave you by yourself, I have some troubles with my house, oh, and you won’t be able of stay on my house, it’s undergoing some repairs, sorry…” Vinyl said

I was sad, Vinyl’s house was the only place I had to stay, but I guess I had to understand

“It’s ok Vinyl, I’ll find a place to stay for a while, don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine” I said, trying to make her feel better

She was worried, I could tell by the look on her face, so I gave her a good don’t-worry-smile so that she could calm down, she returned my smile with her own, and then she went

“Hey, Night Wolf” Derpy said “I also have to go, I have some work with the post office hat needs to be done, sorry, I’ll see you later”

“Ok, no problem, I’ll see you later!” I said and she also went

I really was on my own, so I decided to go to Fluttershy’s house…

“Hey Spike” I said, Spike was still around here

“Yeah? What do you need?” Spike asked

“Do you know where Fluttershy lives?” I asked, I didn't really know

“Oh, sure, she lives over there, just keep going and you will find her cottage” he said pointing at the direction from which I was coming

“Thanks Spike, see you later” I said, I wanted to make a good impression

“Sure” Spike said, then he went back to the library

After I said good-bye to Spike, I decided to walk to Fluttershy’s cottage.

After a long and lonely walk, well, not that lonely, I could say hello to Lyra and we talked a little, but still I was by myself, the good thing is that I could find Fluttershy’s cottage easily, it was a small cottage at the outsides of Ponyville.

I went to the front door and knocked the door once… no answer, twice… no answer… thrice… still no answer… maybe she wasn’t home, but then I heard a small voice around, it came from behind the house, maybe it was Fluttershy, so I went to see if it was her, and I saw a girl with wings, she had a beautiful pink hair which covered one of her eyes, she was on her knees, talking to some animals, but the way she talked to them was so… kind, so soft

I can’t explain why I had these thoughts in my mind, I never had them before, but she was different… she was special, so I decided to go and talk to her, I approached silently to not scare the squirrels she was talking to, when I was near her I talked

“Umm… hey” I said, softly

The girl got surprised and turned around fast, she looked kind of scared

“Umm… Hi…” she spoke quietly, I could barely listen to what she said

“I’m Night Wolf, I’m new here at Ponyville, nice to meet you” I said

Then she got up and began talking normally “Oh, your name has 'Wolf' on it? Wow, that’s a great name!” She said, it looked like she was beggining to like me

I was glad she talked normally, that meant she was starting to trust me

“Thank you” I said, giving her a nice smile

Then she got all shy again “Oh… sorry, I didn’t mean to bother you…” She said, softly

“Oh, no, there is no problem, I’m actually here to see you” I said

It seemed like my answer made her gain a little bit more trust, she managed to look at me

“Oh… well… my name is Fluttershy” She said

She was very shy, I could barely talk to her, I decided to gain her trust

“Umm… Fluttershy… what are you doing?” I asked

“Well… I’m just helping these little friends to eat” She said, quietly

Yes, that was a zone where I could help, I love animals

“Hey, can I help?" I said "I love animals"

Fluttershy’s face shined, she seemed pleased by my answer

“Oh, really? You like animals?” She asked

“Yes, I love animals" I said, sure about my answer "they are like little fellas who are there with you when you are alone, I used to be alone a long amount of time, so I stayed with some animals from time to time”

It looked like she finally was starting trust me

“Oh, that’s wonderful, could you help me?" She asked to me "I need some acorns for these little guys over here, they need to eat, but they broke one of their legs, can you get them for me?”

“Sure, I’ll get them right away” I said right before I went for those acorns

It didn’t take long to get them, they were not far and I could pick them up easily, when I got enough, I got back to Fluttershy, she was still on her knees, talking with the squirrels, she turned around and looked happy for me to return

“Oh, thank you Night Wolf" Fluttershy said, then turned around to the squirrels "look little fellas, my friend Night Wolf brought you some acorns, here, take them”

The squirrels then took the acorns and began eating, I was happy they could eat them, I guess Fluttershy noticed my happiness, because she looked at me, happy

“You know… nobody helps me with this…" She admitted "I rarely get help from my friends on this, and even more rarely they can help me properly… but you… I’ve just met you and you already helped me and thanks to you, we got food for these poor little squirrels, I don’t know why, but I feel like… I could trust you all of a sudden, you give me that feel of trust that no one else has ever done”

“I have to admit that when I saw you with those animals, I knew you were a good person" I said, I was getting a little bit shy "I don’t know why, but I felt like I had to meet you”

Fluttershy blushed a little, I was happy she trusted me, and that was a great advance

“Hey, do you want to come inside my house?" She asked "I mean, I need help getting these squirrels inside so I can take care of them properly, can you help me?”

“Sure" I said "I’ll help you”

I took gently some of the wounded squirrels and followed Fluttershy to her house, Fluttershy took some as well, we went to her house, she opened the door and we entered, her house was nice and cozy, we placed the squirrels on a pillow located on top of the table, the moment we left them, they fell asleep, and we decided to sit and talk

“So… Night Wolf, why did you want to see me?" She asked me "Did a pet of yours need help?”

“Well… no, basically, I wanted to see you, your friends told me you were a nice person and that I would like you" I admitted "so I came over to see you, and I will also have a question to ask you…”

She looked intrigued “Yes? What do you need?” She asked me

“Well… you see, I have been staying in Vinyl’s house, but now she can’t let me stay in her house because of some repairs or something" I said, hoping for her help "so… I wanted to ask you, do you know anywhere where I can stay? At least until I get a job and enough money to make my own house”

I could see she was thinking, and then she told me “Well… I don’t really think you will be able to rent a room since you just said you needed a job…" She said, still thinking "so… maybe you can stay here… well… if you want to…”

She was blushing, interesting, where did her trust went? But still, I had no other choice and this opportunity may not repeat

“Really?" I asked "Can I really stay here? Isn’t it too much trouble?”

“Oh no" She said "it’s not a problem, I actually have a room for visits, you can stay there”

I was so happy I found a place to stay

“Thank you Fluttershy!” I said

I couldn’t help it but to hug her, I was too happy, and I could see she blushed a lot when I stopped hugging her “Oh, I-I’m sorry, I-I’m just too happy! I couldn’t help it” I said, nervous.

I don’t know why she blushed so much, maybe… nah, it can’t be I thought.

Fluttershy was in a state of shock, she didn’t move, I was getting worried.

“H-hey, are you ok?” I asked.

She remained still for a while, a couple of seconds later, her blush began to lower until she went back to normal.

“Umm… sorry…” she said while she covered her face.

Looks like her shyness came back, so I decided to talk to her, to make her be more comfortable with me around.

“So… err… nice carpet you have there!” I said, pointing to the floor near her.

She looked at me, and then she looked where I pointed “Umm… there is no carpet there…” Fluttershy said.

“Oh, really?” I said, while scratching the back of my head “he he, my bad” I said, I was joking, just to make her laugh and feel more comfortable.

Fluttershy giggled “You’re funny” she said “Well… I think it’s time for me to show you your room, follow me… well… if you don’t mind…” she said, quietly.

She was still very shy with me, but she was super kind “Sure, I don’t mind” I said, she gave me a small smile over her shoulder.
When we were going up the stairs, I could see two doors, I knew one of them was mine.

Fluttershy moved to the second door on the second floor and opened the door, I could see the room, it was a nice room, it didn’t really have a lot of stuff in it, but that was ok.

“Here it is, this will be your room… well… if you want…” she said.

“It’s great!” I said, giving her a good smile so that she could know that I was happy with the room she wanted to give me.
“Oh, thank goodness, I was worried you wouldn’t like it” she said, relieved.

“It’s perfect, I love it, thank you Fluttershy, this really means a lot for me” I said, thankful.

The room was just perfect, it had a nice bed, a night table with a clock and a closet, it was obviously empty, but I could fill it with some clothes.

After checking my room, I went with Fluttershy, and we talked for hours, I don’t know why, but I liked talking with her, and so did she, or at least that’s what I thought.

I told her about my lack of Cutie Mark, and she, like everypony else, was surprised, she also told me how she got hers, it was an interesting story, basically, she fell from cloudsdale, a city that is made of clouds, and she fell to a forest filled with animals, at first she was scared, but then she discovered she actually liked animals, and that’s where she got her Cutie Mark.

Fluttershy explained to me what a Cutie Mark exactly was and that they take time to appear, but not as long as mine, but she told me not to worry, that I would get it soon enough.

Then, while we were talking, Pinkie Pie suddenly entered the cottage and went directly to Fluttershy.

“Hey Fluttershy! Do you want to come to Night Wolf’s par-tay? It’s his welcome party and everyone is going to come, even the princesses! It’s the first time the princesses come to a welcome party for someone, it just that Twilight talked to them and wanted them to come because Night Wolf doesn’t have a Cutie Mark and they were surprised by the fact he didn’t really have one and the wanted to see him in person which is why they will come and meet him in the party I’m inviting you to, which will be awesome, here, take this invitation so you can know where it will be and you can come to welcome him” Pinkie Pie said, very fast and it looked like she didn’t notice me.

“Umm… hello Pinkie Pie” I said.

“Oh, hi Night Wolf… wait… woah!!” and she ran and entered the refrigerator.

“What the…” I said, then I got up and decided to go to the refrigerator to get her out of it, but when I opened the door… she was not there, there was only food and common stuff…

“Huh!? But… HOW!?” I asked, amazed, confused and scared, all at the same time.

“Well… It’s Pinkie Pie after all, she usually does this, and I guess she didn’t notice you until you talked to her” Fluttershy said, not amazed at all.

It was incredible, that Pinkie Pie, just broke a law of physics, she did the impossible, but, judging Fluttershy’s face, I could assume… it was a normal thing for her.

“Well… at least she left the invitation, that way we can see where the party will be” Fluttershy said, then she took the invitation from the table.

“So… where will it be?” I asked.

“It says that it will be in Sugar Cube corner, at 8 P.M. of today” she said.

“Oh, good, then I should get ready, there are 4 hours left for the party to begin” I said, kind of exited.

“Oh, you’re right, but for now, I’ll stay with these little fellas, they may need my help, you should get some rest, looks like the party will take long” Fluttershy said.

And she was right, that party was going to be the longest party of my whole life… not that I had many before…

“Umm… Night Wolf… it’s time…” A soft voice said, it was obviously Fluttershy, she was trying to wake me up, it seems I fell asleep, and it was probably time for the party, or how Pinkie called it, The Par-Tay.

“Ugh… what?” I said, before I woke up, it took me a time to reincorporate with the real world, well… Ponyville.

“Umm… I said it was time, we should go to the party, if you want to, that is…” Fluttershy said.

“Oh, yeah, you’re right, we should get ready for it, just give me a minute to change my clothes” I said.

“But… you don’t have other clothes, the ones you have now are the only ones you have…” She said

“Oh, you’re right, then, we should get going, are you ready?” I asked her.

“Oh, not yet, but you should go, I might take a little bit long for getting ready, I’ll meet you at the party… If that’s ok with you…” She replied.

“Oh, ok, I’ll see you there then” I said, wondering why she would take long, but it was ok, as soon as she came.

I got out of the bed and I decided to go to the party, while I was going down the stairs, Fluttershy locked herself in her room, probably to get dressed

I wonder how the party will be I thought while I opened the main door, outside was already dark, I believe it was 7 or 8 o’clock, so I decided to run just to get to Sugar Cube Corner in time

The streets of Ponyville were deserted, no one was outside, and I was not sure if they were inside their houses, I have to admit I was getting kind of scared, I mean, being alone in the dark, with no one around, it was just the perfect moment to get kidnaped, but I guess that can’t happen there.

The sky was cloudy, it seemed it would rain, I really didn’t want rain, but I can’t control the weather, that’s the work of the Pegasi.

It was a cool night, not hot like in my world, I wanted to see the stars, but I guess it was too late and the clouds were needed.

After a couple of minutes, I managed to get to Sugar Cube Corner, the rain was already starting, but it still needed some time for it to get strong. When I opened the door, it was all dark in there, maybe it’s too early I thought, and I was just about to get out when,
suddenly, all the lights turned on.

“SURPRISE!” Everyone yelled, that really surprised me, it almost gave me a heart attack.

“Whoa!” I said, basically screaming.

“Haha, were you surprised? Wereyouwereyou? Hahaha!” she said, very fast

“Yeah, this really surprised me Pinkie, did you plan the whole party?” I asked.

“Of course I did, and I can see it was a success, now, let’s party!” Pinkie said.

“Ok everypony, let’s get this party started!” a female voice sung “♪From the D to the J to the P-0-N-3, and ain’t no other pony drop
the bass like me, I’m Vinylicious♪” she said, and then a song began, it was awesome, and obviously the DJ was Vinyl Scratch, or how she is also known DJ-P0N3.

I decided to go and see some of the friends I made, I saw Derpy dancing with a guy, he had a suit, he seemed important, but I may be wrong. I decided not to bother them; I kept looking around, and I saw Rarity, she was with Applejack, Pinkie and Twilight, Rarity was wearing a beautiful dress, the others wore casual clothes.

“Hey Night Wolf!” said Twilight, she was the first one to see me.

“Hello” I said while coming closer to them.

“Oh darling! Welcome to Ponyville!” said Rarity.

“Hey partner! How ya doing?” Said Applejack.

“Oh, I’m great, thanks” I said.

“Do you like the party I made for you?” Pinkie Pie said, she was excited.

“Yes, it’s awesome! I love it” I said, happy.

“Oh Night Wolf, I want to present you to someone, follow me” said Twilight, so I followed her.

“Umm… who do you want me to meet?” I asked.

“Oh, don’t worry, you’ll see” She said.

Then I saw a lady… she was… wow, I can’t explain it, she was so… HOT!, I can’t explain it with other word, she was as hot as the sun! She was wearing a sleeveless sweater and colorful jeans, and her hair, man, her hair was so beautiful, so lively, and she had both wings and a horn, her horn was longer than Twilight’s, so I assumed she was older than her.

“Oh, hello my faithful student” Said the lady “I see you brought a friend, is he the one you told me about?”

“Yes Princess” Twilight said “Night Wolf, this is Princess Celestia.”

A princes!? Wow, that explains why she is so hot “It’s an honor to meet you, princess” I said, trying to be polite and hide my blush.

Celestia giggled “Oh, you don’t need to be so polite, you can call me Celestia, oh, and by the way, my sister Luna came with me ”Celestia said, and then she called for Luna.

Remember what I said about Celestia? Well, that was little compared to her younger sister, when I saw her, wow, she was beautiful, she was wearing a blue sweater and jeans, and her hair was like a clear night sky, shimmering, it was awesome and beautiful.

“Hello Twilight, is he… the one?” Luna asked, looking at me.

“Yes, he is the one I told you about” Twilight said.

“Oh, I see, we wanted to meet you Night…” she stopped, she seemed confused “Night Wolf? Are you ok?” Luna asked.

Then I realized I was blushing a lot, my whole face was probably red, so I decided to hide my face.

“Err… yeah, I’m ok, it’s just, a small sickness, nothing bad.” I lied, what was I supposed to do? Oh sorry, my face blushed for your beautifulness, I couldn’t tell her that, that is not something you say to a girl you just met!

“Oh, ok, anyways, I would like to see your shoulder.” Luna said, she probably wanted to see my lack of Cutie Mark.

“Oh, yes, I would like to see it too” Said Celestia.

I rolled my sleeve up and then they were surprised.

“Wow, I never thought I would see this again” Celestia said “This is weird, I’ve only have seen anything like this once before.”

“Me neither, that’s why I called you, I thought you may know why this could happen.” Twilight said.

Celestia and Luna looked each other “No, we don’t really know why this could happen, maybe he will find it later.” said Luna.

“Well… I CAN tell you something” Celestia said “I actually saw this once, but it was a long time ago, once there was a person who also didn’t have a Cutie Mark.”

Luna seemed intrigued “Huh? But, I don’t remember seeing anypony like that” Luna said

“Well… it was before you were born Luna.” Said Celestia “I was way younger, and I saw it, he never got his Cutie Mark, and nobody knew from where he came, but he did awful things, he killed many, and with no good reason, but that never repeated again, until now, that is why I needed to come here, and I’ worried the history will repeat itself…” Celestia was getting scared.

Everypony seemed to calm down a little, but they were still scared.

“Well… but for now, we can’t be sure, what I hope is that you get your Cutie Mark and you don’t turn into… him…” Celestia said, she really was scared about that, I could tell by the look in her face.

“I won’t be like him, I promise” I said “I don’t like killing, nobody deserves to die, not even the bad guys.”

They seemed to like my answer, and they calmed down.

“Well, we can only…” Luna tried to say, but she was interrupted by Rainbow Dash, who came very fast to the party, she was agitated.

“Guys! Something terrible happened!” She yelled “It’s Fluttershy!”

“Huh!? Fluttershy!?” I asked, worried “What happened to her!?”

“She was kidnapped! By the changelings!” She said.

“Changelings!?” Everypony asked, terrified.

“But… we already defeated them” said Twilight.

“Yeah, we sent Chrysalis to fly!” said Pinkie Pie.

“I know, but they are back and they took Fluttershy!” Panted Rainbow “I tried to stop them, but they were too strong for me, they are stronger now, I don’t know how!” Rainbow Dash was terrified.

“Where are they!?” I asked.

“They went to the north of Fluttershy’s cottage, they shouldn’t be far from there” said Rainbow.
Fluttershy was very important for me, she was the only girl who actually understood me completely, so I decided to go as fast as I could to save her, but on my way to the door, two guys stopped me.

“Well, well, well… If it isn’t Night Wolf… Welcome to Ponyville” they said, blocking the exit.

“Guys, I don’t really have time to talk, I must save my friend Fluttershy” I said.

“I’m afraid we can’t let you do that” one of the guys said.

“What!? But, why!?” I asked “Don’t you realize how bad this situation is!? Let me go!” I demanded.

“Hahaha, no, you won’t get out of here… Not conscious…” he said.

I was angry at them, why didn’t they want me to leave!? And then, they did something weird.

Suddenly a strange green smoke came from them, covering them, and when the smoke cleared… they were not normal, they had legs, arms and wings which had holes on them, they also had a horn, like Twilight, but they didn’t have a Cutie Mark.

“CHANGELINGS!? HERE!?” Said Twilight

“Why are you here!?” Asked Luna.

“Well… isn’t it obvious?” said the changeling, with a tone of sarcasm “We are here to take Night Wolf.”

“What?” I asked, surprised “me? But, why me?”

“Well, I don’t really know.” the changeling said “The only thing I know is that Queen Chrysalis wants you.”

Then there was a silence in the house, like if they have seen a ghost “C-C-Chrysalis? She’s back?” Twilight mumbled.

“Of course she is back!!!” The changeling said, proud “I mean, we never left Equestria.”

“Wait,” I said “If Chrysalis wants me… then why did you kidnap Fluttershy!?”

“Oh, that, well, she asked us to take you, and then she said that we could do whatever we wanted with anyone who opposed,” The changeling explained “And she opposed, in a certain way.”

“What do you mean?” I asked

“Well… how to say it…” the changeling said “let’s just say that she was on our way while we were coming here, she saw us transforming, so we decided to take her to our base and… hehe… show her a lesson… if you know what I mean… hehehe…”
The changelings were laughing, I already knew what they meant… “You are going to rape her… right?” I asked, scared of the answer they were going to give me.

“Well… rape is a very strong word.” The changeling said, giggling “I prefer the term of ‘Sexual Lesson’.”

I couldn’t believe what I heard… they wanted to rape Fluttershy… I couldn’t let them do that.

“Let me go, now,” I said, angry “Or else…”

The changelings looked at each other, and then they laughed “Hahaha, or else what? Are you going to punch us? Hahaha, you are nothing, and in fact, we are not alone…” They said, and then many persons became hidden by a green smoke.
5… 10… 20… 30, I could count 30 of them, almost half of the people who were invited were changelings, and they really were a lot…

“As you can see… we are not alone” The changeling said “In fact, we are a lot, and we can easily take all of you down if you provoke us, so, make this easy for us and, just give up.”

‘Give Up’… that word… I really hate that word…

“ ‘Give Up’?” I asked “You just want me to give up? After kidnapping my friend, and making a plan to rape her!? DO YOU REALLY THINK I’M GOING TO LET YOU GO AWAY WITH THIS!?” I was burning with fury, I was just about to explode.

“Well… yes, just give up.” They said “Oh, and by the way, don’t worry about Fluttershy… she will come back… but of course with a new life… if you know what I mean…”

I knew what he meant… they were planning to get her pregnant…

“No… I won’t let you go away with this… I WON’T!” I said, and then I used all my strength and punched one of the changelings right on the face, I didn’t realize how strong I was, I actually knocked him out with a single punch.

“What the hell!?” The other changeling said “I’ll kill you!” Then he jumped on me, I could hear that all the other changelings began to attack the others, and the others fought back.

The changeling wanted to kill me, I could see it in his eyes, he began to put pressure on my neck, but before he could kill me, I could hear something.

“Hey, surprise Motherbucker!” a female voice said, and then a disk was smashed on the changeling’s head, and after that, he got kicked.

I could see it was Vinyl Scratch the one who kicked his face.

“Are you ok?” she asked me, then she helped me to get up on my feet. “Did he hurt you?”

“No, I’m ok” I said, while I recovered. “Thanks”

“Well, good, now you must get up!” she said. “You need to save Fluttershy!”

“Oh, you’re right” I said. “But… what about you guys?”

“Don’t worry about us” she said, confidently. “We’ve dealt with changelings before, but you must go and save Fluttershy”

She seemed to be sure about her abilities, so I decided to trust her “Ok” I said. “Be careful”

Vinyl nodded and then she went back to the battle against the changelings.

I got up and got out of Sugar Cube Corner, it was raining outside, it was a heavy rain, I could barely see, but I knew I had to reach Fluttershy’s cottage, so I ran in the right direction.

I finally made it to her cottage, it had its windows destroyed, and the front door was destroyed as well… I then knew the truth, she didn’t do anything, and they kidnapped her for no reason.

I went to north of the house, I saw four persons, one of them was a female, she was obviously Fluttershy, and she was being taken by the changelings.

I ran to get them, I needed to get them and save Fluttershy, they were far away, but I knew that if I ran fast enough, I would get to her and save her.

“Stop!” I said

They changelings turned around, they looked confused, but when they saw me, and they laughed.

“Oh, hahaha, we thought it was someone dangerous,” one of the changelings said “but now I see it´s only you.”

“Night Wolf!” Fluttershy screamed, she seemed very scared. “Please! Help me!”

I could see the fear in her eyes, she was terrified, maybe she knew what the changelings wanted to do to her.

“Let her go!” I demanded.

“Well… what are YOU going to do about it?” One of the changelings asked “You can’t do anything, we are three and you are only one.”

I was angry, I couldn’t believe they were going to rape her, I was burning with anger, so I decided to kill them.

I ran right to them, my plan was to punch with all my strength the first one, then kick the one to the left to knock him out, and at last, give the last one a frenzy of punches and kicks to kill him, then take Fluttershy on my arms and take her back to her house.

That was the plan, so I gave the first one the first punch... but he blocked it…

“Hahaha, did you really believe that pitiful movement would work again?” He laughed.

He pulled my arm and he gave me an incredibly strong kick on the stomach, it hurt like hell.

I groaned, but I didn’t have much time to recover since the other finished tying up Fluttershy and they took me by the arms.

“Hold him up” The changeling said “I want him to look how I rape and kill his girlfriend.”

“NO!” I screamed “STOP!”

I could see Fluttershy was struggling, she was scared, I wanted to stop him, I also struggled, but they had a strong grip on my arms.

I used my left arm to grab his neck, and I threw him with and incredible strength, he crashed with a tree and he didn’t wake up again.

“What the hell!?” the other one holding my right arm said “How did you do that!?”

When I had my left arm released, I gave the other changeling a punch, he then left my other arm free, I used this opportunity to give him a haymaker right in his face, which made him fly a couple of meters.

“What!? But, how!?” The raping changeling said.

I went, slowly after him, he was getting away from me, scared of me.

“NO!” He screamed “GET AWAY FROM ME!”

She was blindfolded, and she was shaking, she was obviously scared.

“Night Wolf?” she asked “Is it really you?”

“Yes” I said.

I took off her blindfold, and when she saw me, her eyes filled with tears.

She burst into tears, I hugged her as well, and stroked her hair to calm her down.

“Don’t worry, I’m here, everything will be alright…” I told her, we remained there for an hour, until she finally calmed down.

When we returned to Sugar Cube Corner, the place was destroyed, but the ones who were knocked out were the changelings.

“Night Wolf!” said Vinyl, and everyone else turned and looked at us “Hey, and you saved Fluttershy!”

Everyone cheered at me, they were happy for us to come back safely.

“Hey Night Wolf! Wait…” said Derpy she was looking at my shoulder “Is that… a Cutie Mark!?”

“Huh?” I was confused, then I looked at my shoulder, I was surprised, I finally had my own Cutie Mark.

“Mm… What an odd Cutie Mark” Princess Celestia said “But still, do you already know what your special talent is?”

“I’m not really sure…” I said.

“Mm… well, I haven’t seen a Cutie Mark like that before,” said Celestia “But still, you may find out soon enough.”

Before we could keep on with the chit-chat, a strange wind came by, it was strong, like if it was a whirlwind. It created a strange sphere of energy, electricity went out of it and spread all around it, and then it caused a small explosion.

A girl with a cybernetic armored suit appeared on the site of explosion, I knew it was a girl because her suit had the ‘space’ for her ‘attributes’

“Well, well, well…” The strange girls said “If it isn’t Night Wolf…”

“Wait…” I said “That voice…”

“It’s nice to see you again.” the strange girl said

Then she took off her helmet and, I couldn’t believe what I saw, I thought I would never see her again…

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was just… Impossible, how could she be here? But still… I felt… happy, I was happy to see her

“Ayla!” I said, with a surprise tone

“Hahaha, surprised to see me?” Ayla asked “I’m sure you never thought I would follow you!”

She was right, this was a great surprise, I never thought she would come here, and she came all of a sudden, many things happened that day, some were good, but most of them were bad, but this… this changed everything!

“But, how?” I asked “How can you be here?”

“Well… it’s quite simple” Ayla said, then she began walking back and forth “As you can see, my portal uses a frequency that is strong enough to go through the tiny barrier that exists between dimensions, I used a certain frequency the time I sent you, so what I did was that I placed the portal in the exact same frequency that it was before, that way I managed to come to the same dimension as you.”

“Mm… I think I understand” I said “So, you basically used the same portal I used?”

Ayla giggled, maybe she liked the fact that I understood what she said.

“Well… if you want to watch it the simple way,” she said. “then yes.”

“But… why are you here?” I asked “Why did you come here?

“Well…” Ayla said, then she began walking back and forth again “I have to admit that… I was bored.”

We decided to get inside Sugar Cube Corner, we asked Ayla to come in, she was happy and then she came inside.

“Wow, this place looks great!” Ayla said, surprised. “It’s like being inside a giant cupcake!”

She was amazed, more than me when I first came in.

“It’s… kind of a long story…” I said “We will talk about that later, but first we need to get her to bed.”

We went to the second floor, Pinkie was kind enough to lend Fluttershy her bed.

When Fluttershy fell asleep, we went to the first floor, the customers were already gone; the ones who remained were Twilight, the princesses, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Derpy, Vinyl Scratch, and Big Macintosh.

We took the largest table, so it would be big enough for all of us to fit.

“Soo… from where do you know Night Wolf?” Vinyl asked, looking at Ayla.

Ayla looked confused, that made me get nervous. She was never great on hiding stuff, so she was obviously going to tell them everything.

“I came here using a portal that Ayla created.” I said, Ayla seemed to be glad to the fact that I mentioned her ‘greatness’ “And I appeared north from here, I guess it was in the middle of Canterlot and Ponyville, and the rest I guess you already know”

“So… you didn’t tell us the truth because you thought we would think you were crazy?” Asked Vinyl.

I nodded.

“Ok, I understand why you said that, right now I would doubt you if you told me that you are a good person, but, you saved Fluttershy’s life, and you got hurt by that, so I think that is enough for me to trust you” said Twilight.

“I think we all agree on this, we forgive you, but don’t lie to us anymore, ok?” Said Celestia.

“Sure” I said.

“Right now, I think we should see what your special talent is” Said Celestia.

“I’ll explain the whole Cutie Mark thing to you later.” I told Ayla

She nodded. “But… isn´t that your… nevermind.”

“Yes, it is a remote controller!” said Derpy “So, your special talent must have something to do with videogames.”

“Wait” I said “You have videogames here?” I asked.

“Of course,” said Luna “I’m a pro on the subject.”

“Interesting… I thought that didn’t exist here.” Ayla said

“But… there is something wrong…” said Applejack “If his Cutie Mark has to do with videogames… why did he get it while fighting with the changelings?”

She was right, why did I get it while fighting them? There was something missing.

“Applejack is right,” said Rainbow Dash “I don’t think playing videogames saved Fluttershy.”

“I think I know what is missing.” Ayla said “I only need to make a small… experiment, let’s go outside.”

We all followed Ayla, when we were outside, Ayla took a small disk from her suit, and dropped it in front of her.

Suddenly a practice dummy made of metal was built, she showed me that new invention of hers back on our dimension, where she used it to test the strength of her suits and gadgets.

“Ok, Night Wolf, I want you to punch this dummy” Ayla said.

“What? No way” I said “I’m going to break my fists if I punch it”

“Come on!” Ayla insisted “Trust me! It’s the only way we will be able to see what your special talent is!”

I sighed “Ok…”

I turned my hand into a fist and, with all my strength, I punched the dummy, I think I heard something break, but the dummy remained intact.

“OW!” I yelled “Ow, ow, ow, ow!”

“Oh, come on,” Said Ayla “don’t be such a crying baby.”

“Ow… and what was the goal for this?” I asked

“Oh, sure.” She said “Punch it again.”

“What!?” I asked “You want me to punch it again!?”

“Sure.” Ayla said

“NO!” I said

“Ok, here’s the trick:” Ayla said “I want you to punch it again, but this time, focus on a videogame character.”

“Huh? Why?” I asked

“Just trust me.” She said

I wasn’t sure, but I decided to trust her. I focused on Dante, from Devil May Cry, and I punched the dummy, after I did, the dummy flew some meters away

“What!?” I said, amazed by my strength.

“How is that even possible!?” asked Twilight.

“Aha!” Said Ayla, she seemed to be proud of herself. “My theory was correct, like if there was ever any doubt.”

“What do you mean?” Vinyl asked.

“As you could see,” Ayla began the explanation “Night Wolf punched the dummy for the first time and he nearly broke his hand. ‘Which was kind of funny in fact’”

“Not nearly,” I said “I broke it.”

“Ok, he broke it, anyways, when he punched it for the second time, he focused on a character from a special videogame, and the fact that he focused on that character gave him the special capabilities that character has, that way he can reproduce an exact copy of those abilities to use them freely on this dimension.” Explained Ayla.

“Umm… yeah…” said Rainbow Dash. “can you explain it in normal language?”

Ayla sighed, she had suffered from this before, she didn’t like to explain her scientific facts on ‘caveman language’, or at least that is the term she used.

“Very well… how can I put it…” She said, bothered “Night Wolf’s special talent is to copy any videogame character.”

“OOOhhhh that explains a lot.” said Pinkie Pie.

“So… he is like a… copycat?” asked Derpy

“Not quite,” said Ayla “He can copy any ability, but he does not copy the thoughts or the behavior of the owners.”

“Mm… I see…” said Celestia.

“But, there is something missing.” Said Luna “What do the swords mean?”

“Mm… you’re right…” Ayla said, then she began walking back and forth for about a minute.

“I got it!” said Ayla, she seemed to have a great idea. “Night Wolf, this time, I want you to focus on a sword that a character uses.”

“A sword?” I asked.

“Yes” Ayla said.

I followed Ayla’s direction and focused on the buster sword, from Cloud Strife, and after a couple of seconds, a strange light appeared on my hand, and it took the form of the Buster Sword.

“Wow, I can’t believe this” I said.

“Yes!” Ayla said, filled with excitement. “Seems like my theory is correct again!”

“What do you mean?” asked Derpy

“As you can see, a part of Night Wolf’s special talent is to create out of nowhere the swords that videogame characters use” explained Ayla.

“Oh, I see, so I can spawn any sword, cool.” I said.

Then the sword suddenly disappeared, and also my strength, and my wounds also came back.

“Agh.” I groaned “Wha- What happened? Why do my arms and legs hurt all of a sudden?”

“Mm… maybe it’s a side effect, or… did you get hurt before?” Ayla asked.

Then I remembered, of course I got hurt, those changelings kicked my ass.

“Yes, now I remember.” I said “The changelings made me suffer.”

“Anyways, we should…” Vinyl said, before she was roughly interrupted by a nearby explosion in front of her.

“What the hay is that?” asked Applejack

“Oh, dear, it sounded like an explosion.” said Rarity

Then, from the smoke caused by the explosion, came a changeling, but he was not alone, there were 7 more behind him.

“Hello, Night Wolf.” Said the changeling, I could recognize his voice. “Do you remember me?”

“You… you are the one who wanted to rape Fluttershy” I said, angry

“Yes,” He said “’I’m glad you recognized me.”

“What are you doing here!?” asked Celestia.

“Oh, well…” one of the other changelings said “Our main objective was to take Night Wolf to Queen Chrysalis, and have fun with one of your subjects, but now that we know that you almost killed some of our soldiers… we will rape all of you.”

“What!?” asked Rarity

“Yes, and we know you are weak, I mean, you recently fought a lot of us, and we know we injured you.”

And he was right, I was not the only one who was hurt, I could see that the others were also injured.

“Who are these guys?” Ayla asked.

“They are changelings, they can take the form of anyone, but they are stronger than before, I don’t know why.” explained Twilight.

“Mm… I see…” Said Ayla “And they want to rape us? Really? Are you kidding?”

“Yes.” said Rarity

“Ok, I don’t need to know the details, but leave it to me.” Said Ayla.

She moved to the front, she was getting close to the changelings.

“Well, well, well, are you giving up?” one of the changelings asked “Or you want to do this the hard way?”

“Well… it’s this one!” he said, and he swung his arm to hit Ayla’s face, but she blocked it, way too easily.

Then she threw the changeling to a nearby building.

“Anyone else wanna try?” Asked Ayla.

“KILL HER!” said one of the changelings.

The 7 of them charged on her at the same time, and Ayla just stood there

“Finally…” She said “Finally I get to have some fun.”

Then she punched the first changeling on the face, after that she pulled a desert eagle from her leg, she must have brought it from our dimension, and she shot one of the changelings, right between the eyes, killing him.

“What the” said one of them.

Then she hit the other ones with a barrage of punches and kicks, after that, she shot 5 of them, every shot got their heads, leaving only one changeling alive.

“No… get away!” The changeling said.

“Are you scared?” Ayla asked “Don’t worry, I won’t kill you”

“Really?” Asked the changeling

“Of course not!” she said “but this bomb over here, she likes to kill.”

Then she embedded a weird disk-like device that began a countdown, in his chest.

“Ten… Nine…” Ayla counted, slowly.

The changeling didn’t realize that the device was a bomb, until the countdown reached 3.

“Wait, no, NO” He said, while he struggled to take the bomb away from him, but it was stuck on his chest.

“NOOO!” the changeling said

Then a very big explosion occurred on the site where he was, obliterating everything in a radius of about 3 meters, including the changeling.

“What the!?” I asked “What did you do!?”

Ayla looked at me, confused “What?” she asked “Was I too soft?”

“What other choice did I have!?” Ayla was demanding an answer

“You could have knocked them out, you could scare them and make them flee, or something like that!” Celestia affirmed

“But nothing.” Celestia said firmly

I knew Ayla was filled with fury, she had never lost a fight before, but this time, with different kind of people and different kind of customs, she had no chance

“Ok, next time some creepy guys come here and try to kill us, I’ll try to remember I must not kill them.” Ayla said, kind of angry

“Good.” Celestia said

The others were still scared, but after they saw Celestia control the situation, they calmed down a little

“Anyways… I think we should go back to Canterlot sister.” said Luna “We have stuff to do.”

“Oh, right.” Said Celestia “We should be going.”

Then Celestia came close to me, and I felt warm all of a sudden

“I hope we can see you again sometime, maybe in a more calmed situation” Celestia said, her face was very close to mine, but then she moved away

“Oh, Night Wolf.” said Luna “Whenever you have some, you know, free time, come and visit us.”

Celestia and Luna opened their wings and went flying

“Umm… I should get going, I have a special dress I need to finish.” Rarity said “Night Wolf, darling, if you ever need a suit or you ever get some free time and you want to talk, come and see me.”

After saying that, she kissed me on the cheek, and she went

“Yeah, we should start repairing Sugar Cube Corner.” said Rainbow Dash “Right guys?”

“Oh, yes! We should!” said Pinkie Pie “We’ll see you later Night Wolf!”

Rainbow and Pinkie went and began working on the repairs

“Night Wolf, could you make me a favor?” asked Twilight

“Sure, what is it?” I asked

Ayla decided to wait for me outside while I went inside for Fluttershy. When I got in the room where she was supposed to be resting, I found her, sleeping on the bed, she was peaceful, I didn’t want to wake her up, but I had to

“Umm… Fluttershy…” I said, kindly

“Huh?” Fluttershy said “What?”

“It’s time to go back.” I replied

“Oh, but, can I ask you a favor?” Fluttershy asked

“Yes?” what is it?” I asked

After a minute, we got to the hospital, we rushed in and a nurse came to us, she asked us what had happened, and I replied the same thing I told to Rainbow, the nurse asked us to place Fluttershy on the bed so that they could stabilize her, so I placed her there, and they took her

Every second that passed felt like an eternity, I couldn’t stop moving, I was so nervous. After 3 hours, the Nurse, whose name I learned before ‘Nurse Redheart’, came back

“Hello” she said, kindly “You were with Fluttershy, right?”

“Yes” I affirmed “Is she alright?”

“Yes, she is stable” Nurse Redheart said “But she’s still unconscious”

“What is wrong with her?” Ayla asked

“I will be honest with you” Redheart said “We are not sure what happened, the only thing we know is that a strange substance was injected to her system”

“Injected?” I asked

“Yes, we found a puncture mark.” She affirmed “This substance had an effect on her body, it’s attacking her body, her defenses are trying to hold, but they won’t last long”

“Is there any cure?” Asked Rainbow

“We don’t know, we never saw a disease like this” The nurse said

“Maybe Twilight knows something?” I asked

“You’re right!” said Rainbow Dash “She must have something on her books”

“Let’s go then” said Ayla

We rushed to Twilight’s library, when we reached there, we saw Spike, he was entering the library

“Spike!” I yelled while I rushed to the main entrance

“Oh, hey guys.” said Spike “What’s up?”

“Is twilight home?” I asked “We have a problem”

“Um, yes, she is.” Spike nodded “What’s the problem?”

“Its Fluttershy.” I said “She is sick, but Nurse Redheart doesn’t know what happened with her, so we came to see if Twilight knew.”

He got surprised, he asked us to get inside, and we did. He called Twilight, and she came from upstairs

“What happened?” she asked “Is it true that Fluttershy is sick?”

“Yes.” said Ayla “And the doctors don’t know what is wrong with her.”

“Ok, maybe we can find something on these books.” Twilight said “help me search!”

We all nodded and we began looking for something that could be similar to what Fluttershy was suffering, but after an hour, we didn’t find anything

“I don’t understand.” said Twilight, confused “There should be something here.”

“But there isn’t” said Ayla “We searched on every book on the library!”

“Wait.” said Twilight “I know someone who may be able to help us.”

“Really?” I asked “Who?”

“Her name is Zecora.” Twilight said “She comes from a faraway land, and she knows a lot about diseases and ailments, she may know what is happening to Fluttershy.”

“Well, let’s go then!” I said

“Ok, Night Wolf and I will go get Zecora.” Twilight said “I need you three to go and check on Fluttershy, make sure she is alright”

“You got it!” Spike, Ayla and Rainbow Dash replied, almost like soldiers

They rushed back to the hospital, while we rushed to Zecora’s home, I just hoped that she would be able to help and that it wasn’t too late…

We entered the Everfree forest, Zecora was living there, in a hut

After a couple of minutes, we reached her hut, it looked like if it was African, but I was sure that Africa didn’t exist in this dimension

We entered the house and we saw this lady, she was placing some ingredients on a cauldron, she looked like if she was a witch, but that was only my opinion

“Zecora!” said Twilight “We need your help!”

“What is wrong? And who is this man who came along?” Zecora said, she rhymed, but I didn’t care, I had to help Fluttershy

“It’s Fluttershy!” Announced Twilight “She is sick, but the doctors don’t know what is wrong with her!”

Zecora’s expression changed from calmed to surprised

“I need to see her, before her problem gets bigger.” Said Zecora

We rushed back to the hospital, I was hoping it wasn’t too late

By the time we reached the hospital, it was getting late, we entered the hospital and we rushed to Fluttershy’s room

When we got there, she was unconscious, Rainbow Dash and Ayla were there, along Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie. They were glad we came back

“Great, you finally came.” said Ayla “She’s still pretty bad.”

“Mm… leave the room, so I can see why she is in gloom.” Zecora said

We all got out of the room, Zecora checked on Fluttershy and after a couple of minutes, she exited the room

“And?” I asked “What is wrong with her?”

“She suffers from a very strange disease” Zecora explained “A disease that disappeared since a long time ago like a sneeze”

“Like Cutie Pox?” asked Twilight

“No.” Zecora said firmly “This is worse than the others you know.”

“And, what can we do.?” asked Rarity

“For this, there is a cure.” said Zecora “But the path is hard to endure.”

“What do you mean?” I asked

“The cure is divided in three, and they are spread inside the Everfree.” Zecora said

“Well, we’ve already entered the Everfree forest.” said Rainbow Dash “I’m sure it won’t be that hard.”

“Oh, it will be hard.” Zecora affirmed “This won’t be like walking through my front yard.”

“What do ya mean?” asked Applejack

“The zone where the pieces are, is as known by me as a star.” said Zecora

“So, you don’t know the place where the pieces of the cure are?” asked Twilight

“Exactly.” affirmed Zecora

“But you do know where they are, right?” asked Pinkie Pie

“Of course I do,” said Zecora “or at least I have a clue.”

“We should get going then!” said Rainbow Dash

“Wait.” I said “We can’t all go to the same place.”

“Then what should we do?” Asked Rainbow Dash, eager to get going

“We will split into teams of three.” I said “That way, we will get the materials faster.”

“Ok, we should make the teams.” said Twilight “But before we do anything, we must know where each one will go.”

“I will explain each place:” said Zecora “The first one, a very odd flower, is located on a zone where it is hard to fly, I would suggest non-flying persons like Applejack and Pinkie Pie.”

“The second one, the serpent tooth, is in a narrow path, where it is hard to pass, I would recommend a Pegasi and two Unicorns, since their magic will be needed to pass this wrath.”

“And last, but not least, the manticore eye, this path is a hard one, you will need to fly, but use magic as well, so maybe two Pegasi and an unicorn might get where the eye dwells.”

“Ok, thanks Zecora!” said Twilight “Now, I think I know how to do this: Night Wolf, Applejack and Pinkie Pie will go for the flower; Derpy, Vinyl and Rainbow Dash will go for the eye; and Ayla, Rarity, Spike and I will go for the serpent tooth.”

“Seems like a plan.” I said

So we all agreed on that plan and we decided to go and get the materials, before it was too late…

A Quest For Medicine

Right before we went to the Everfree Forest, we had a small meeting on the outsides of Ponyville, where we all gathered and we also told the plan to Vinyl and Derpy, since they were not in the hospital when we made it.

“So… Derpy, Rainbow Dash and I are going to go for a manticore eye?” Vinyl asked.

“Yes, that’s the plan” I said.

During the meeting we repassed the plan again, and we decided to meet up back at the hospital, were Zecora would stay in order to take care of Fluttershy.

“Ok, then let’s get going then” said Rainbow Dash, she wanted to get going as fast as possible.

“Wait” Ayla said “We can’t just go like that.”

Ayla then moved to the front and tuned around so she could face us all.

“We need to be able to communicate while we are in the forest” Ayla continued “That is why I brought these.”

Ayla took some circular devices from her pockets, she had three of them.

“These are communicators” she added “I built them back at my dimension and I brought them here, I believe they will be useful.”

“And how do they work?” Twilight asked, she seemed curious.

“Oh, sure, I’ll teach you” replied Ayla.

I wondered what they meant, but I didn’t care a lot, I was worried about Fluttershy, I couldn’t stop thinking about her, suffering, I wanted to get the medicine as fast as possible for her.

“Night Wolf” said Ayla “I’m talking to you.”

“Huh?” I replied “What?”

She was talking to me? I didn’t notice.

Ayla sighed “Night Wolf, you need to keep your mind together” Said Ayla “I asked you if you could explain them how to use the device.”

“Oh, yeah” I replied “Sure.”

I moved to Ayla’s side and I took one of them, I had some experience with them before, Ayla used to use me as a test subject for almost all of her experiments, except the ones she knew for sure would hurt me, I wonder why, maybe she did care about me.

“Ok, first we turn it on” I explained while I searched for the on button, it was on the top-right side of it “We press this button and it’s on.”

“Ok, that’s enough” Ayla interrupted “the rest is too complex for a simple explanation from you.”

I felt kind of offended.

“Now, you only need to turn it on and you will be able to communicate with all the other teams” Explained Ayla.

“Seems simple enough” Added Twilight.

“Oh, one more thing” said Ayla “You will also need weapons.”

“Oh no” I interrupted “We are not going to use your guns.”

“No, no, no!” Ayla said while she shook her head “I know you are too weak, errm, I mean ‘nice’ to kill, so I will lend you these non-lethal weapons, just to defend yourselves.”

The other girls seemed upset by this.

“Are you sure we need ‘weapons’?” asked Rarity “Isn’t it a little bit too much?”

Everyone seemed to agree with Rarity.

“Yeah, we already entered the Everfree forest before and we never had the need for weapons” added Rainbow Dash.

“Well, we did have some moments where they could have been useful” added Twilight “Maybe it isn’t a bad idea to bring some.”

“Yeah!” said Pinkie Pie while jumping with excitement “It will probably be fun!”

I wasn’t completely convinced, but I guess it was for the best.

I sighed “Fine” I said “we will bring some.”

“Good” said Ayla, happy “Now, let me show you my arsenal, but be careful, not all of them are non-lethal.”

She took a small cube from her pocket, and she threw it to the ground, then it began a countdown.

“I would recommend you all to stand back” Ayla added.

We all followed her advice and moved back, when the countdown reached 0, the box became a big box filled with weapons.

“Enter” said Ayla “Take what you like.”

Everyone entered and began choosing a weapon, I didn’t enter, Vinyl was the first to get out, she had a sword-like club, and it looked like it was made of a material similar to a baton.

“Hey Night Wolf!” Vinyl said “come on! Choose a weapon!”

“Nah, I don’t need one” I replied

“Why?” she asked

“Don’t you remember? I can create weapons out of nowhere” I replied while I made a gun blade appear on my hand

“Oh, yeah, I remember now” Vinyl said

Everyone got outside of the weapons room, Derpy had a baton, Pinkie Pie had a metal staff that was as big as her, Applejack had tough gauntlets and a pair of iron boots, Twilight had an iron shield, Rarity had a staff like Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash had a pair of batons and Spike came out with nothing.

“Huh? Why didn’t you grab anything?” I asked.

“Oh, I did grab something” Spike assured, then he pulled out a small stick from his pocket, it then transformed into a small hammer that was just his size.

“Cool” Rainbow Dash said.

“I think we are ready” I said.

“Yes, we should get going” added Ayla.

We all were ready, so we split into the pre-deigned teams and we began our journey to the Everfree Forest.

“Hey, Night Wolf!” Said Ayla before we split “Remember, Not. A. Single. Word!”

I nodded with fright, everyone seemed confused by this, but no one asked a thing.

After a couple of minutes, we reached the Everfree Forest, we entered and we split, after some seconds we lost sight of the others and we were left alone.

“Well, it didn’t take long to lose ‘em all huh?” Applejack said

“Yeah, I hope nothing bad happens to them” I replied, worried

“Oh, don’t worry!” said Pinkie Pie trying to cheer me up “They will be fine!”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right” I agreed “By the way, why are you… skipping?”

“Oh, because it’s fun!” she replied with a smile

“Hey Night Wolf, will ya check yer map?” Applejack asked

“Oh, sure” I replied while I took out the communicator from my pocket and I pressed the map button in order to check the map

“Ok… let me see…” I said while checking the map “We must be… here” I pointed on a zone close to the entrance “So if we keep on this route, we should be able to get there quickly”

“What are we looking for again?” asked Pinkie Pie

“We are looking for a strange flower” said Applejack “Did ya forget?”

“Oh, I remember now” Pinkie replied

While we were advancing, we heard noises coming from the trees around us

“Wait” I murmured “Did you hear that?”

“Yeah, ah heard it too” Applejack replied, murmuring “What do ya think it is?”

“Not sure, but we should keep our eyes open” I answered

The sounds stopped for a while, so we decided to keep moving.

After 10 minutes we decided to get a rest since the route we were following was strangely tiresome, we sat on the grass to rest

“Hey Night Wolf” said Pinkie “I was wondering, what did Ayla mean when she said ‘Not a single word’?”

I blushed, but I managed to cover my face before they noticed

“Um… no, it’s nothing” I assured

“Are ya sure?” asked Applejack “It seemed important”

“No, it wasn’t, eitherway, if I tell you, she would probably kill me” I replied

“Well, she is not here, so, come on!” Pinkie added “Tell us!”

“No, believe me, she will know if I tell you” I replied, trying to hide my blushing

“Aw, ok, but I will discover it sooner or later you know!” Assured Pinkie

“I hope it’s later” I answered “Anyway, we should get going”

“Yeah, we…” Applejack was interrupted by a strange sound, it sounded like an animal

“What is that?” I asked

Then something came out from the trees, and whatever it was, it wasn’t alone, they were like 6 of them

“What is that!?” asked Pinkie

After they stopped moving, I saw what they were

“Changelings!?” I asked “Again!?”

“What? It’s 3 times already!” said Applejack

But there was another one, this one was tall, like Princess Celestia, but her body was like the body of a changeling, she came closer to us

“Oh no…” said Applejack scared “It’s… Chrysalis!”

The big female changeling seemed to answer to that name

“Oh, you remember me, how cute” said Chrysalis

“What are you doing here Chrysalis!?” asked Pinkie Pie

“Oh, I’m here to kill you all” said Chrysalis

“What?” I asked “But, why?”

Chrysalis laughed “Not you Night Wolf” she said while laughing “only everyone else”

“But, why do you want to kill them?” I asked “Why?”

“Because” she said “Now, make a favor and get out of the way Night Wolf, I don’t want to hurt you”

“No” I said firmly “I won’t let you harm my friends”

I stepped forward and I spawned a gun blade and I copied the abilities of Squall in order to control it properly and I placed myself in defensive stand to protect Pinkie and Applejack.

Chrysalis laughed “Do you really believe you can stop my soldiers?” she mocked “You don’t stand a chance!”

I held the blade tightly “Try me” I said

“Very well…” she said

“Wait” said Applejack “If you want to attack Night Wolf, you will have to fight us as well”

“Yeah, if you mess with him, you mess with the whole bunch!” said Pinkie Pie

“Very well” said Chrysalis, then a grin appeared on her face “Kill them all”

A changeling rushed on me, he was very fast, but I managed to block his punch with my blade, then I got a chance so I slashed him with the blade, but he managed to evade it.

He was very fast, much more than the previous changelings, I slashed again, but he evaded again, but this time, he answered with a kick, I couldn’t block it, his kick hurt a lot and it knocked me to a nearby tree where I crashed, the tree almost fell down by the strength of the crash.

He was very fast and very tough, I couldn’t lay a hit on him, but I didn’t give up, I had to get Fluttershy her medicine, then I got an idea.

“Is that all you’ve got?” I said, then I spit on his face.

Then he grabbed me by the neck tightly, he prepared his hand to kill me, just as I planned.

“Huh, you’re not… very smart… huh?” I said.

I held my blade tightly and I slashed through him in a quick movement, his face changed from a grin to a suffering one, but there was something… odd, no blood came out of his body.

“Gyaaargh!” the changeling screamed in pain.

He left me go and he fell to the ground, but he disappeared like a group of… pixels…

“What the..?” I mumbled.

“Oh, I see you just discovered my little secret” said Chrysalis.

“What the hay is going on here!?” said Applejack.

I realized that both Applejack and Pinkie Pie had defeated their foes, and they disappeared just like mine.

“Oh, as you can see, these are not completely real changelings” she affirmed “They are prototypes of my new invention.”

We all looked at each other.

“What do you mean?” I asked “What do you mean with ‘prototypes’?”

“Well, I don’t see why I shouldn’t explain it to you” Chrysalis said

“You see” she continued “After a while of training my changelings, I realized something, they were weak and they got tired easily, they couldn’t hold on a battle for more than 4 hours, because after that, they would fall, exsausted, so that’s when I thought about a way of getting stronger soldiers”

She then began walking back and forth, interesting, she was similar to Ayla.

“Then I got this crazy idea” She continued “And what if I ‘create’ my own soldiers? So I began the experiments, I scanned the changelings, saw their strengths and weaknesses and I eradicated the weaknesses like exhaustion, then I created this”

Chrysalis pointed at one of her ‘Prototypes.’

“This inventions of mine are perfect, no weaknesses at all, they are the perfect killing machine, and the best of all is that they don’t think, which means they can’t reveal against me” She explained

“But, then they are just machined” I said “They have no thoughts and they can’t act by themselves”

“No, they can’t, that is why they are perfect!” she replied with excitement “And the best of all is that with them, I could simply eradicate the other changelings!”

“Wait, what!?” asked Pinkie Pie “What do YOU mean with that!?”

“What I mean is that I killed most of the changelings, and the few that remained, I placed them in a prison” Explained Chrysalis “It wasn’t hard though, my inventions dealt with them easily”

“What!?” I said surprised “But how can you do something like that? They are your people! And you are their Queen!”

Chrysalis laughed “Haha, you still believe I am Chrysalis don’t you?” she said, then she continued laughing.

“What do ya mean!?” asked Applejack “Ya ARE Chrysalis”

“Yeah, you look like her, you act like her, you even smell like her!” said Pinkie Pie “Oh, and by the way, you should get a bath”

Chrysalis kept laughing “I am not Chrysalis!” she continued “Do you really believe that Chrysalis would kill her own people? She loves her people, she only hates you”

“But, if you are not Chrysalis then…” I said “Then who are you!?”

“Hahahaha” she laughed “You guys are so funny, I can’t believe you actually thought I was Chrysalis, so funny!”

Then a dark purple smoke came out of her feet and it covered all of her body, some strange lightings came out of the cloud of smoke.

When the smoke cleared, Chrysalis was no longer there, there was man, he was about my height, and he looked a lot like me, but he seemed more… dark, more shadowy, more… evil.

“Hahaha” said the mysterious-looking guy “Now you see my real body”

“What the hay!?” said Applejack “Who are ya?”

“I am darkness incarnate, I am pure evil” said the mysterious guy “I am your worst nightmare!”

“Cut the introduction and tell us who you are” I insisted.

“Huh, I see you are still as desperate to die like before” he said “Well, my name is… Shadow!”

“Shadow?” I said “Never heard of it.”

“Of course you haven’t heard of me you moron!” he said, he was getting pissed “This is the first time I reveal my true identity!”

“Oh really? Then you must be a ‘noob’ in this” I replied “No wonder why your ‘inventions’ were so weak”

“How did you just call me!?” he said

“I called you ‘noob’, why? Are you gonna cry?” I answered

“SHUT UP!” he said, angry

He did have an anger issue, I wondered if I could use it at my advantage.

“Well, you are not only a noob, but a coward as well” I mocked.

“What do you mean with that!?” he replied.

“Oh, nothing” I said “It’s just that, you prefer to send your pitiful inventions to deal with your troubles instead of facing them yourself”

“I’m not a coward!” he yelled “I CAN DEAL WITH YOU EASILY”

“Oh yeah?” I continued “Then prove it!”

“VERY WELL!” he said, then he pulled a device from his pocket and pressed the button of it, after that all of his ‘inventions’ disappeared.

“YOU AND ME, ONE ON ONE, NOW!” he said, he was filled with anger, I could see it.

“Very well” I replied.

He stretched his arm and opened his hand, then darkness filled his hand and it took the form of a sword which looked a lot like mine.

“What?” I asked “How did you do that?”

“Did you really think you were the only one with the ability to copy videogame-character abilities” he said

How did he know I had that ability? I just discovered it earlier that day.

“You are probably wondering how I know your special ability” he continued “Its easy, I know every move you’ve done since you came to Equestria”

“What?” I said “How can you know?”

“Oh, that is my secret, you will realize someday” he said “But for now, I will kill you”

He prepared himself for battle, and so I did, we were ready to attack each other.

“Wait” he said “Now that I think about it, I can’t kill you, not yet, so I will go for now, I could kill your friends, but nah, I’ll simply watch while Fluttershy dies from her sickness, it’s probably too late already.”

A cloud of dark purple smoke surrounded him and when the smoke cleared, he was gone.

“He is gone” I said, then I realized that Pinkie and Applejack were gone as well “H-hey? Where are you girls?”

Then I saw footprints, I decided to follow them.

After some minutes, I saw them, they were coming back the direction I followed.

“Hey, girls!” I said “Where were you?”

“Oh, hey Night Wolf!” said Pinkie Pie “How did everything go with the mean guy?”

“Yeah, did ya beat him?” said Applejack.

“He disappeared, but, where were you?” I asked again.

“Oh, yeah, we went for the flower while you fought him” said Pinkie.

“So, you just left me alone?” I said.

“Well, yes, but we got the flower” said Pinkie.

“Well, we knew you would beat him, so we decided to go for the flower, that way we could get it and now we can take it to Fluttershy and she can get better” explained Applejack.

“Well… I guess you’re right.” I said “But at least you could have told me.”

“We couldn’t.” replied Pinkie Pie “You were too busy fighting with the baddies.”

“Let’s just take this to Fluttershy ok?” I said.

We moved on to the exit, it didn’t take long, but I was a little weak from the fight with the ‘invention’ of Shadow, I think it may have broken my shoulder, or maybe it was nothing.

“You know what?” I said “Go ahead, I’ll catch up with you in a moment.”

“Are ya sure?” said Applejack.

“Sure, take the flower to Fluttershy.” I replied.

They moved on to the exit, it was so close that I could see Ponyville, but something was wrong… I felt a strange feeling, like if something was going to go wrong…

“Hey Night Wolf, come o…” Pinkie Pie said before she was interrupted by a strange dark energy which knocked back both Applejack and Pinkie Pie outside of the forest, the darkness then blocked the exit of the Everfree Forest, locking me in.

“NIGHT WOLF!” That’s the last thing I heard from Pinkie and Applejack before the barrier completed.

Everything became gloomy, I felt like someone was watching me… looking at every movement I did, I decided to run to the barrier and try to break it, I spawned the Buster Sword and I smashed it on the barrier with all the strength I had… The barrier remained intact, not even a single scratch.

“Wha… what is this?” I asked in a low voice.

“Oh, this is a barrier I made” said a known voice.

“Shadow!” I yelled “Why did you lock me here!?”

“Oh, yes, do you remember when I told you I couldn’t kill you just yet?” Shadow said.

“Yes…” I replied.

“Well… I realized that I can’t kill you, but I can assure that you won’t stand in my way” He explained.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Oh, don’t worry” he continued “I won’t kill you.”

He opened his hand and he spawned an oxidized bone saw, it seemed very old, and in the other hand, he spawned a strange sword infused with darkness.

Shadow rushed at me, I managed to block his attack with my sword, but the attack was so strong that it knocked me back and I crashed with the barrier, my shoulder began to hurt again, I couldn’t move my arm after that.

“How do you like THAT!?” he said, next to that he kicked my chest so strongly that I coughed blood.

The pain I felt in the chest was burning, I couldn’t move.

“Oh, what’s the matter?” he asked “Is your chest hurting? Don’t worry, I’ll make you forget it!”

He kicked my face with the heel of his boot, it hurt a lot.

“Now then, I think it’s time for me to end with this” he said.

Then he grabbed me by the horn, my chest was still burning, I suffered a lot.

He made me lay on a tree.

“Ok, time to end this Night Wolf” he continued “I will make sure you never stand on my way again.”

He left his sword on the floor and he prepared his bone saw, I was not sure what was going to happen, but I knew it wouldn’t be nice, I wanted to escape, but I was too weak, I couldn’t move at all.

“You may be thinking ‘What are you going to do to me?’” He said “Well, I won’t cut your legs or your arms, nah that would be far too nice”

“Wh… what… do you… mean…” I said barely

“Oh, I’m glad you ask!” he said, excited “I will take every chance of you using magic against me”

I didn’t understand, until he grabbed my horn tightly.

“No” I said.

“Yes” said Shadow.

Shadow lowered the bone saw near my horn, I could feel the cold steel rubbing my horn, and when I least expected it, he began sawing, the pain I felt was agonizing, I screamed incredibly loud, I shrieked in pain, I tried to move, but Shadow used his dark energy to hold me to the tree.

“Haha, and we are not even half through!” Shadow said.

He kept sawing, the pain was stabbing, and I suffered like never before.

“Do you want to know a funny story about horns?” he asked “You see, horns have a very special set of nerves, they are directly connected to the brain, and this nerves are very similar to the ones on the genitals, making the long story short, having a horn is like having another dick.”

I wasn’t able to respond, the pain was unendurable, I wished to die in that moment, just to stop the pain.

“Let me tell ya a small story about myself” he said “The first time I got here, I fell near a place where changelings lived, It was filled with them, they locked me up fast, while I was locked, I discovered that I could copy any ability from videogame characters”

I struggled to get free while he was talking, he noticed me.

“Stop moving!” he yelled at me “Or I will chop it off completely!”

“Where was I?” he continued “Oh, yes, I discovered my ability, but the difference between you and me is that I can copy any ability for an unlimited amount of time and I could combine them all.”

I tried to escape again, but he sawed a little bit more and the agonizing pain came back.

“Which part of staying still you can’t understand!?” He said.

He held my head to the tree and used his darkness to hold me still.

“Now, let me continue” He said “The changelings wanted to try a new torture system they created, they used a bone saw to chop horns, and they chopped mine, it was painful, but I could get my revenge, after some days, I managed to disguise as Chrysalis and I locked her up on a secret basement”

He kept sawing while talking, my head was bleeding, the blood poured out from my forehead and it covered my eyes.

“I took her place you know,” he continued “and I used this torture system on the one who used it on me, I was supposed to be dead after that, no one can survive that, but I did, I had some darkness in my heart that made me hold on to my powers.”

He kept sawing, I could feel every movement he made, every second was like an hour to me, and hour of agonizing torture.

“Anyways, I made my captors suffer and after that, I took control and here I am.” he continued “You wanna know something funny? I enjoy chopping people’s horns off, I get this… pleasure, it’s like having sex, but better!”

Every second was horrible, I couldn’t believe what was happening, my horn was very close to fall off.

“Oh, it’s almost over, that’s bad, you know what?” he said “I will stop using the bone saw now and I will simply rip it off.”

He held my horn with his hand and began pulling, I thought the saw was painful, but compared to that, every time he pulled my horn, I felt a pain that was 1,000,000 times worse than the saw.

“It just… needs a little… Strength!!!” he said while pulling with a lot of strength.

I shrieked in pain, it was horrible, the horn wouldn’t come off and every time he pulled, blood came out of my forehead and it covered my face.

“Almost… There!” he said.

Suddenly the horn came out… it was the most painful moment of the torture, it felt like a trillion stabs to the balls, the good thing is that it didn’t last long, after some seconds I simply didn’t feel anything… I couldn’t hear anything and my sight was getting blurry, I could see Shadow, he was showing off my chopped horn in front of me, he said something, but I couldn’t hear him.

Then a great rainbow explosion occurred, the rainbow created was beautiful, and a strange figure punched Shadow and I could see he flew a long way and destroyed a couple of trees.

The strange figure came close to me and grabbed me, she was talking to me, but I couldn’t hear her, and then other figures rushed near me.

Everything was getting dark… I could barely see the figures, I just wanted to sleep, I was so tired, I wanted to rest, and then everything got dark.

“Hey guys, wait up!” I said while rushing to them “Don’t you remember who has the map?”

There I was, with my partners, we were supposed to get the ingredient together, but they went forward because they said they saw something interesting and they left me behind, now THAT is team work…

“Come on Rune!” said Spike “You move too slow!”

“I’m not moving slowly, you are moving too fast!” I replied.

“Darling, why don’t you use your wings?” asked Rarity “That way you can move faster.

“I never used wings before…” I answered “In my dimension, nobody had wings.”

“Oh, right” Rarity turned and faced Twilight and Spike “Maybe we should slow down a little…”

“You’re probably right” Twilight said “After all, she has the map.”

They finally slowed down a little, I was glad I could slow down a little, running with my equipment wasn’t easy, I think I should have brought lighter clothes.

“What did you see anyway?” I decided to ask.

“Oh, we saw the Manticore Eye!” Spike answered.

“Oh really?” I replied “And, where is it?”

“Over there” said Twilight while pointing to a small cage made of vines.

“How can you know that is the manticore eye?” I asked “It could be anything!”

“Well, anything is better than nothing” Spike replied “Besides, who would put a cage made of vines in the middle of the forest?”

He was kind of right, it was the only lead we had, it was a good idea to check it out.

By the moment we got closer I realized that they were right, inside the cage there was the manticore eye.

“Yes, we found it!” Rarity said, happy.

“We did, now the only problem is how to take it out.” Twilight replied while inspecting the cage “Any ideas?”

“Maybe I could burn it down?” Spike suggested.

“Oh, did you bring matches?” I asked.

“Err… no, I don’t need that.” Spike answered “I can MAKE fire.”

“Make fire?” I was confused, what did he mean with that?

“Yes, Spike here is a pyromancer” Twilight explained.

“Pyromancer?” I replied.

“Yes, he can create and control fire.” Rarity added.

“Oh, I see.” I understood what they meant “So he can control the kinetic energy of particles around him, make them move faster and by that making them burst into flames?”

“Um… yeah” Rarity looked confused, as well as the others minus Twilight.

“Anyway… I can burn them.” Spike said.

Spike asked us to get away and when we were far enough, he began, he opened his hands and made fire appear on his hand, they were green flames, something I’ve only seen in my experiments.

Spike seemed to be ready to burn the vines down, but then his flames suddenly disappeared.

“What happened?” I asked “Why did you stop?”

Spike turned around, he was exhausted.

“Oh no, not again!” Twilight and Rarity said almost simultaneously.

“Oh no, are you ok Spikey-Wikey?” Rarity said.

Spikey-Wikey? I almost laughed at that silly nickname, but I held myself.

“What’s happened?” I repeated my question.

“Oh, this usually happens” Twilight answered “Spike is still too young and he can’t control that much fire, he overdone himself.”

Spike was very young, he looked like a 10 year old kid.

“I’m ok” Spike said, he still sounded weak “I can do it.”

The kid had guts I’ll give him that.

“No, you are NOT ok Spike” Twilight said “Don’t you remember last time you overdone yourself? You almost died!”

“Yes, and I don’t want my Spikey Wikey to die!” Rarity added.

Spike eyes turned to Rarity, I swear his face blushed the moment he saw her.

“Ok, I’ll stop for you Rarity.” Spike said.

I decided to let them check on Spike while I inspected the vines.

They were tough ones, tearing them with bare hands was not an option, but they did seem easy to burn, too bad Spike couldn’t hold it.

After inspecting them I got an idea, I could cut them with the laser I had, it was a very strong laser, invention of mine.

I got closer to the vines and I began cutting, the vines fell one by one easily and when all of them were gone, I took out a pair of gloves, took the eye and I placed it on a box I had with my equipment.

By the moment I got back to them Spike was getting up with the help of Twilight and Rarity.

“Hey, how’s Spike?” I asked the girls.

“Oh, he is feeling better, at least he can stand.” answered Twilight.

“I’m fine” Spike affirmed “I can burn those vines now.”

“No Spike” replied Twilight “You need to rest from using your power, you may faint, or worse”

“Yes Spikey Wikey, you need some rest” Rarity added “Leave this to us, we will just have to find a way to get that eye.”

“Oh, I already got it” I said showing them the box where the eye was held.

“What?” Twilight seemed confused by this “But, when did you get it? And how did you get it?”

“It was quite simple.” I replied “I simply used this laser,” I pulled my laser out of one of my pockets “and I took of all of the vines.”

“Good thinking.” Twilight replied.

“We should head back.” Rarity suggested “My Spikey Wikey is feeling down, he needs to rest.”

“But Spike just said that he was feeling…” Twilight’s mouth was covered by Spike’s hand.

“No, I’m not fine” He said while covering Twilight mouth “I may need someone to take care of me...”

Twilight and I exchanged glances, then we decided to follow Spike’s little game.

“Yeah, he probably needs a place where to rest” Twilight said “But he can’t rest on the library, I have a lot to do and I will make a lot of noise.”

“Yes, and I don’t have a house where he can stay” I added.

“Oh, don’t worry darling, you can stay with me.” Rarity said to Spike while holding him on her hands.

We moved on to the exit of the forest, we already lost enough time getting this eye.

“Huh, what a smart little kid, using the situation in order to get laid, I have to admit, he is a smart little fella.” I murmured to Twilight while we walked.

“Yes, he can be pretty clever on this kind of stuff…” Twilight affirmed.

We then saw the light of the exit, we passed through it and we saw it.

There they were… Pinkie Pie and Applejack punching desperately a strange darkness… Night Wolf wasn’t with them…

We rushed to them.

“What happened?” Twilight asked.

“And where is Night Wolf?” I asked, nervous.

“We were just about to get out, Night Wolf stayed behind and when we were outside, this strange thing blocked the exit and Night Wolf is trapped inside!” Pinkie Pie answered while desperately trying to break what seemed to be a force field.

“And when did this happen?” I asked.

“A couple of seconds ago.” Applejack said while still trying to break the barrier.

Night Wolf was trapped inside, we couldn’t see what was happening, nor hear anything, shortly after we came, Derpy, Vinyl and Rainbow Dash came too.

“What the hay happened?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Night Wolf was trapped inside by this barrier!” Twilight said.

“What!?” Derpy and Vinyl said, after that she rushed to the force field and tried to break it.

Everyone was trying to break the barrier between us and Night Wolf but there was no effect, it was too strong, I decided to examine it.

I touched the force field, it was made of pure energy, but it was dark energy, like shadows, I then got an idea.

I pulled out a scanner from my back pack and I scanned the force field… I got readings that made me realize how to destroy the barrier.

“Hey guys!” I yelled at the others “You won’t be able to break it!”

“We MUST break it!” affirmed Vinyl “Didn’t you listen!? Night Wolf was trapped inside!”

“It’s useless” I continued “It’s made of pure energy, brute force won’t budge it!”

“Got any better idea!?” Rainbow asked.

“Actually,” I replied “I do.”

They all stopped and turned around and stared at me.

“What is it?” Twilight asked.

“Look, this force field is made of pure dark energy, so brute force won’t help, but there is a way to make it disappear.” I explained. “You see, this force field has a frequency which makes it so strong, and that frequency is exactly the opposite frequency that a sonic boom creates.”

“Could you explain it in common language?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“What I mean is that” I continued “We need something or someone who can create a sonic boom, that will make the barrier disappear and we will be able to take Night Wolf out.”

“A sonic boom huh?” Rainbow Dash said.

“Yes, with enough time I could create a device that…” I was interrupted by Rainbow Dash who flew away from the place “H-hey! What are you doing!?”

“Don’t worry, Dashie knows what to do!” Pinkie Pie said.

Then I saw Rainbow Dash flying back at a high speed and when I least expected it, a great rainbow explosion occurred at the same time as a sonic boom was created, the explosion made the force field dissapear and I could see that there was another person with Night Wolf, Rainbow Dash punched him quickly.

The strange guy destroyed some trees with the knockback and then he disappeared on a strange dark cloud.

I rushed to Night Wolf, he was lying on a tree, his face was covered by blood and I realized that… his horn… it was gone…
“WOLF!” I screamed in terror.

I held his shoulders with my hands.

“Are you ok!?” I asked, it was obvious he wasn’t ok, he was covered by blood.

“What happened!?” Twilight asked terrified by the conditions of Night Wolf “Why is he covered in blood and… where is his horn!?”

“Uh, guys…” said Spike, his voice sounded nervous “I think I found his horn…”

He took something from the ground and brought it to us, it was Night Wolf’s horn…

“Did he… chop his horn..?” Rarity asked terrified.

“What kind of monster would do that...?” Vinyl said.

“We don’t have time to think who did it, we need to take him to the hospital and take the ingredients to Fluttershy!” I said “That’s what Night Wolf would suggest…”

“I’ll take him, I am the fastest one” Rainbow Dash said “I can get him there in 10 seconds flat!”

He lifted Night Wolf and flew at a high speed to the hospital, we followed right behind.

After a couple of minutes we finally reached the hospital, Rainbow Dash was already there and the doctors took Night Wolf to the emergency room, we moved to Fluttershy’s room and handed the ingredients.

While Zecora was making the potion to cure Fluttershy, we told her about Night Wolf, she understood and she finished the cure for Fluttershy.

Fluttershy cured almost instantly after drinking the potion, but she still looked weak so we decided not to tell her about Night Wolf just yet, we told her that he was trying to get some gifts for her.

Some hours passed and Fluttershy was finally good enough to wake up, she insisted on us telling her where Night Wolf was… when we told her the truth… she burst into tears, she wanted to see him so we asked the doctors how he was.

The doctors took us to Night Wolf’s room… he was sleeping…

“Is he going to be alright doc?” I asked.

“I’m going to be honest with you girls” The doctor said.

“Oh no, that’s never a good sign” Rainbow said.

“Look, the damage he suffered was simply too big” The doctor explained “He’s lucky to be alive.”

“Um… when is he going to wake up?” Fluttershy asked softly.

“That’s the bad thing” The doctor replied “He… he is not waking up…”

We all got shocked by his answer.

“What!?” I said “What do you mean!?”

“He will remain on an eternal coma” the doctor said “There’s nothing we can do…”

We all got shocked by this, but I could see that Fluttershy and I were the ones most affected.

I lowered my face, it was over… Night Wolf was dead… The only person I really cared about… died… and I had so much I wanted to tell him… Like… I love you…

Fluttershy burst into tears, she sat on Night Wolf’s side and she laid her face on him and cried…

“Maybe… Maybe there is a way!” Twilight said “Maybe the books have something that can cure him!”

“You’re right!” Rarity said.

“We should go and check them out” Vinyl suggested.

I couldn’t hold it, I ran away from the room and from the hospital.

I sat under a tree near the hospital and I began crying… I just couldn’t believe it… I wanted to go back in time and save him… but I couldn’t… Then I realized something… I couldn’t live without him… I just… wanted to… die…

Night Wolf was dead, he was not going to wake up, the others insisted on not turning off the machine that kept him alive, but I knew he was gone for sure… It was time to move on, he once told me something, it was a long time ago when we were just kids.

“We will be friends forever, right?” Night Wolf asked me.

“Why are you asking me that?” I asked.

“I just… I have been thinking…” Night Wolf said “I really like being with you, I just don’t want our friendship to end…”

“Don’t worry” I replied “We will be friend forever, I promise”

Night Wolf smiled to me.

“After all” I continued “Who else is going to protect you from the baddies huh?”

“Ha, you’re right” Night Wolf lowered his head, like if he knew something I didn’t.

“Hey, Ayla” he said “If I ever die… I want you to move on…”

“Why do you say that?” I asked, I was confused.

“Just, promise me” He continued “Promise me that if I ever die, you will keep on with your life and you won’t be sad for the rest of your life.”

“But, why?” I asked.

“Promise me” He repeated.

“Ok” I answered “I promise.”

He smiled at me, it was like if he knew this was going to happen, now I realize what he meant back then…

“I will move on Night Wolf… don’t worry about me, I will fulfill my promise” I hoped Night Wolf could hear me…

A week has passed since Night Wolf entered the coma, he is still connected, but he won’t wake up.

I asked Rainbow Dash to help me learn how to fly, she accepted and she taught me how to, I always were a fast learner, I mastered the ability to use my wings in a single day, I have been staying with Rainbow, her house was really a cloud.

I went to clouds dale to learn more about Pegasus, there I mastered even more my ability of flight, but I simply couldn’t stop thinking about Night Wolf…

A day, some bullies began bothering me, I ignored them, I didn’t want to get into trouble now, but they said something that really made me angry.

“Hey Ayla, where is your friend Night Wolf?” One of them said “Oh, I remember, he is DEAD.”

That made me angry, so angry that I punched him in the face and sent him a couple of meters away.

My eyes filled with tears, I remembered everything that I wanted to forget… I flew away from Clouds Dale, back to Ponyville, I found a cloud on the outsides of Ponyville and I sat on it.

I cried and cried and cried for hours, and just when I thought things couldn’t be worse, it began raining… What a great timing…

I sat on that cloud for hours, I was thinking on him again, I couldn’t move forward, I needed him…

“Hey, are you ok?” a female voice asked right behind me.

I turned around and there was a girl with a spiky light blue and white hair, she had an umbrella with her.

I nodded slowly and I went back to my previous pose.

“You should get out of here” the girl suggested “You might get sick.”

“Why would you care?” I replied.

“Well…” she said “Ok, I think we started with the wrong foot.”

She sat at my side and covered me with the umbrella.

“I’m Cloudchaser” she continued “Nice to meet you!”

I didn’t reply, I was too sad for talking…

“Um… what’s your name?” she asked.

I sighed “I’m Ayla… Rune Ayla…”

“Rune Ayla, that’s an odd name” she said “But it’s nice.”

I didn’t reply.

“Rune, we should really get out of here, you may catch a flu” Cloudchaser said.

“I don’t care” I replied, I really didn’t care, I mean, why would I care? I was already dead inside.

“Come on, I’m worried about you” She replied “Let’s go, I’ll take you to your house.”

“Why do you care? You don’t even know me…”

“I do know you…” her face lowered “I know your friend entered on an eternal coma…”

“So what?” I said without moving my face.

“I understand your pain” she continued.

“How could you possibly understand me!?” I yelled “How can you feel the pain I feel!”

“My mother… she was killed a couple of years ago…” her expression turned from regular to completely dark… “She was killed by a Changeling attack…”

I saw her pain, I realized she suffered… maybe even more than me…

“It was about a year or two, my sister and I took my mother to the Canterlot wedding of Shining Armor and Cadence…” She said sadly “Then… the changelings attacked… They destroyed many buildings, and even though they only killed a few… one of those was my mother…”

I could see her eyes filled with tears…

“Four of them fell right next to us, they punched my sister and they grabbed my arms… After that, they hopped on my mother and… they… they…” she began sobbing “They began punching her, they kicked her and they threw her around like if she was a doll… and when they got bored… they cut her throat open… They looked at me… with some kind of… pleasure…”

She looked up with her eyes still filled with tears.

“If Thunder Lane hadn’t come in the right moment… The changelings would have raped me and my sister… he managed to come fast and saved us… but he was badly injured… he was lucky to survive…”

I realized she also suffered… she was just like me… but she managed to move on…

“I-I’m sorry…” I replied “I didn’t know…”

She cleaned her tears with her sleeve “Don’t worry, I had to take that out anyways.”

The rain continued, but it was softer now.

“We should get out of here” I suggested.

Cloud looked at me and she smiled softly.

“Yes, we should” she replied “Where do you live?”

“I… don’t really have a place I can call home” I said “Rainbow Dash lent me a room, but it’s too small… it’s not really a home for me…”

“Oh, I see… What about moving to my place?” she suggested “I have a room for guests, you can stay there until you get a home for yourself.”

“No, I don’t want to bother you” I didn’t really want to bother her, after how I treated her…

“Don’t worry!” she said “After all, I don’t really like living all by myself.”

“Really?” I replied “Even after how I treated you?”

“Yeah, I understand you, its normal that you reacted that way, it’s a self-defense mechanism.”

A strange feeling crossed my mind… She was so sweet, and she could understand me… maybe she could help me move forward…

“Thank you, really, this means a lot to me.” I said.

“No problem, come on, follow me” She said while she stood up and began flying.

I followed right behind, I finally found someone that could help me move forward… that could help me forget…

On the way to her house we found Rainbow Dash, she was panting.

“Ayla, I finally found you” she said agitated “You need to come to the library, Twilight found a spell that may help.”

“Really!?” I replied surprised.

“Yes, we need to go!” she flew fast back to the library, Cloudchaser and I followed her.

After a while we finally reached to the library, we entered and everyone was already there, except for Fluttershy.

“Ah, Ayla!” Twilight Said “I’m glad you could make it.”

“So what’s the great idea?” I asked.

“Oh, yes, we found a spell that may work, it’s written in a very old language but I managed to find some of the words, if I’m not wrong, this spell has to do with travelling in time” Twilight explained.

“Which means… we can save Night Wolf!” I said excited.

“Exactly” Twilight affirmed “But, there is a little problem.”

“What is it?” I asked, curious.

“According to this, it only works on dragons and pyromancers” Twilight replied.

“So… Spike will have to go.” I guessed.

“Yes, he will have to go and take Night Wolf out of the Everfree forest BEFORE it’s sealed.” Twilight seemed confident about this.

“Are you sure Spike will be able to do it?” I asked worried.

“I can do it” Spike intervened “It’s easy, I just go, take Night Wolf out and done!”

“Ok, shall we try it?” I suggested impatiently.

We all stood aside from Spike and we all stared at him.

“Ok Spike, remember, only take Night Wolf and get out, don’t do anything risky” Twilight said to Spike.

“Yes, please Spikey Wikey, take care!” Rarity said.

Spike was ready, Twilight began chanting some words, weird, I never saw a unicorn chant.

Then a cloud of blue smoke covered Spike’s feet, then it legs and finally it full body, Twilight chanted a little bit more and then she cast the spell, an explosion occurred on the place where Spike was standing and a blinding light came out, I covered my eyes.

When I opened them I saw the blue cloud which slowly depleted, I was hoping there would be Spike and Night Wolf… that we would finally reunite…

The smoke slowly banished, and what we saw when it was gone was… surprising…

There he was, a guy from around our age with green hair and a face that looked a lot like Spike’s, but older…

“What? What happened?” said the guy “Why am I taller?”

Then we all realized.

“S-Spikey Wikey?” Rarity asked.

The teenager turned to her, he was Spike… he aged around 10 years in a second…

“Spike?” Twilight asked “Is it really you?”

“Yes Twilight, it’s me!” he replied.

“But… you were supposed to go to the past, why are you older?” Twilight looked very confused.

“Let me see that book” Spike asked.

Twilight handed the book to Spike, he opened it and read it a little.

“Oh, I see” he said while reading “This is written in old pyromancer dialogue, it says that this spell is used to make pyromancers age 10 years in a single second, this is used to skip all the training and let them use their powers at their full potential.”

Spike sounded much more… manly, and he looked… handsome, I can’t deny that.

“Oh, so I was wrong…” Twilight said.

“Don’t worry Twilight, there are still many books around here, maybe there is one with a solution” he said “and now that I’m older, I can help you read the books that are written in old pyromancer text!” Spike said, he looked filled with optimism.

“Huh, I guess it was too good to be true…” I said sadly.

“Don’t worry Ayla” Cloudchaser told me “There’s still a chance.”

“How do you make that?” I asked.

“What do you mean?”

“How can you make me smile when I’m sad?”

“Oh, I don’t know” she replied “I guess that’s my special talent.”

We both giggled.

Rarity was still with her mouth wide open, I guess she couldn’t believe that Spike was older… Or maybe she couldn’t believe how handsome he became…

Cloudchaser and I decided to go to her house, it was getting late and I was tired.

I spent the rest of the trip talking with Cloud, she was very nice, we avoided the sad talks and we focused more on our plans, she wanted to join the Wonderbolts, she has already made some tryouts, but she wasn’t chosen.

She told me she would try again this year, she had high expectations, I decided to support her.

I didn’t really have any plans for my life, I was basically new… maybe my plan could be becoming the best scientist of this world, or maybe saving a lot of people with… I don’t know, maybe a giant force field that protected everyone from something… Who knows…

I could see Chaser’s house, it was a small house in Ponyville, I was surprised she didn’t live on a cloud.

“So, this is your house?” I asked.

“Surprised it isn’t a cloud huh?” she replied “Yeah, those ones are very expensive and I’m not exactly rich.”

“It looks nice” I looked at it and it really was nice, at least from the outside.

We entered the house, it was simple, but it was nice and cozy, Chaser showed me the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom and the rooms.

“This is my room, and right next to it its yours” she said while pointing at the door next to the one that led to her room “Wanna look at it?”

“Sure” I replied.

We entered my room, it was nice, the bed was very comfy, it had a closet and its own private bathroom, it seemed pretty nice to me.

“Its great!” I exclaimed with excitement “I love it!”

“I knew you would… wanna get naked?” she said.

I blushed, my face turned into a shining red light.

“What!?” I asked.

Cloud laughed “I’m joking, don’t worry.”

I laughed back, I didn’t see that one coming.

“Ok, let’s go downstairs and get some diner” she suggested.

“Sounds great” I replied.

I was getting hungry, I didn’t eat in the whole day.

We went downstairs and to the kitchen.

“What do you want to eat?” she asked.

“Oh, well… I would likaaaah!” I tripped with a napkin that was on the floor, Cloud cached me but we both fell, we ended up on the floor, I was on top of her.

“Oh, sorry, I tripped and…” I said while I uncovered my eyes which were covering my eyes, and then I saw her.

Her face was so cute, so beautiful, we looked into each other eyes… she blushed and so I did, we slowly closed to each other, she had such a sweet smell, her violet eyes gazed to mine, they were beautiful, and her lips… they slowly got closer to mine and then… we kissed…

We kissed for about a minute then we gazed at each other again.

“I love you” I said.

“Me too…” she said softly to my ear.

We kissed again and the rest is history.

I finally moved forward, I finally fulfilled the promise I made to Night Wolf… I finally had a reason to stay alive… and her name was Cloudchaser.

I was lonely… everything around me was dark… I couldn’t see anything… but then a dim light showed up… it was far away, and after that, another one appeared… right behind me…

One made me feel peaceful and calmed, the other one made me feel anxious, nervous, made me think I was forgetting something important…

I decided to go to the calmed one, I was very close but then… I heard a voice… it was calling for me… I knew there was something I was forgetting, I decided to follow the other light instead.

As I approached the light, I remembered my life and the people I loved, I knew I made the right choice.

I slowly opened my eyes, it was blurry at first, but slowly everything became clear, I saw a ceiling, it was blue… almost like the ones in the hospitals.

I couldn’t move easily, but I managed to move my face a little… Then I heard a voice… a voice I knew very well…

“Night Wolf?” the female voice asked.

“Fluttershy… is it you?” I asked.

I managed turn around and I saw her, she was sitting on a chair next to me, she gazed at me, I could see her eyes filled with tears…

“You’re back!” she looked so happy, she hugged me strongly, her body felt warm.

“Yes… It’s good to be back…” My eyes filled with tears as well “I’m so glad I can see your face again Fluttershy.”

“I-I thought I would lose you” She replied, still crying.

I stroked her pink hair slowly.

“How long have I been asleep?” I decided to ask.

Fluttershy moved back and cleaned her tears.

“A week and a half” she answered.

“A week and a half!?” I was confused, for me it was only an instant.

“Yes… the doctor said that you were not going to wake up ever again…” her eyes filled with tears again “I… I thought I would lose you.”

I placed my hand on her cheek and cleaned her tears, she gave me a sweet smile.

I managed to get up a little and then I sat on the bed.

“I managed to convince the others to keep the machine going… somehow, I knew you would be back” she smiled while cleaning his tears away.

“So, you saved my life” I assumed.

“Well, yes, but you saved mine twice” she replied.

“What do you mean?” I wasn’t sure what she meant by that.

“You saved me from those changelings… if it wasn’t because of you… they would have raped me… or worse…”

“But…” I lowered my face “But I failed… I wasn’t able to bring you the medicine…”

She shook her head in disapproval “No, you DID save me… the others told me how much you effort you put into the search…” her eyes began tripping tears again… “And… you almost died because of me…”

I hugged her “That doesn’t matter anymore” I whispered to her ear “What matters is that we are here, together…”

“But… you lost your horn because of me…”

Then I remembered… I remembered why I was in the hospital… I remembered the horrible suffering, and my horn… I touched where it was supposed to be… it was flat and covered with bandages… But I saw Fluttershy, I saw her and remembered why I did what I did.

“Don’t worry about that” I said softly “It was worth it, I prefer to lose my horn, than to lose you…”

She smiled and hugged me again.

“But… why?” she asked “Why didn’t you run away when you had the chance?”

“Because… I can’t allow myself to cower in fear… I can’t give up on the people I love… I can’t and I won’t give up on you… never.”

She moved back and cleaned her tears, she cried a lot today.

“So… a week and a half huh? That’s a long time for a nap” I said “I really feel like going for a walk.”

Fluttershy looked at me with a worried expression.

“But… You haven’t recovered yet, you shouldn’t walk yet.”

“Well, we will never know if we don’t try, right?” I moved to the side of the bed and I placed my feet on the ground.

“Just… be careful” Fluttershy held my arm, making sure I wouldn’t fall.

I stood up, at first I lost the balance and fell back to the bed.

After an hour, I finally could walk normally, Fluttershy was impressed by the speed of my recovery, and I can’t deny that I was impressed as well.

I moved to a mirror to see myself, I saw I was skinnier, but the difference wasn’t very noticeable, my head was covered with bandages and the horn was really gone… I wondered what losing my horn could cause, I was new on all this magic stuff.

I was wearing the classic hospital clothes, I hate hospital clothes, they are so uncomfortable, I simply hate them.

“Um… Night Wolf…” Fluttershy said, her face was blushing a little.

“Oh, you can call me Wolf if you want” I replied.

“Um… Wolf… could you…” She turned her face away still blushing, her face was turning bright red “could you… put on other clothes? I mean… if you don’t mind…”

“Huh? What do you mean?” I asked looking at her over my shoulder.

“Well… I can… see your…” she pointed at my butt… Then I realized what she meant.

I turned around and I covered my private parts, I was so embarrassed.

“Uh… yeah… where are my clothes?” I asked still blushing.

“Oh, actually Rarity made you a very nice set.” She moved to the closet, all her blush suddenly disappeared, interesting…

Of the closet she took out an awesome dark trench coat.

“Wow!” I exclaimed “It looks great!”

“Yes, it really suits your style” Fluttershy replied.

I saw that it had blue gems on the end of the sleeves and on the neck, they looked so cool.

“Um… could you wait for me outside?” I asked kindly to Fluttershy.

“Sure.” She went out through the door.

I took the coat, it had a white sleeveless shirt with a dark pair of pants, I wonder how they knew that black and blue were my favorite colors…

“Maybe I can convince Rarity to add a double sheath for a pair of swords on the back of the coat…” I thought out-loud “And maybe two gun holders…”

I placed on the shirt and then I wore the pants, after that I placed on the coat, there was also a pair of boots, I put them on as well.

I also took the bandages off, weird… the hair was like normal… but I didn’t really care much, actually, I was glad it was still there, and of course my horn was gone…

I took around 10 minutes to get dressed… quite a long time for me…

I opened the door and Fluttershy was waiting outside.

“What do you think?” I asked.

“Wow, it looks really nice.” She replied.

“I think we should go and tell the others I’m ok, don’t you think?” I asked.

“Yes, I think they will be very happy to see you!” I wondered if they would be as happy as Fluttershy.

We moved through the corridors of the hospital “Hey, shouldn’t we like… tell the doctors I’m awake?”

“Oh, I already did, while you changed your clothes, I told them and paid.”

“What!? You paid it all!?”

“Yes, why do you look so… worried?” she seemed confused.

“Well… wasn’t it too much money?” I asked.

“Not really, the others helped me with their own money, I only gave the receptionist the money.”

“Oh, I see…” I wondered how much money it costed to keep me… alive… and if they would want me to pay… nah, they are not that bad…

We kept moving.

“A lot has changed since you entered in coma” Fluttershy told me while we approached the exit of the hospital.

“What do you mean?” What could have changed in such a small amount of time?

“Well… I think it’s better if you see it, let’s go to the library, the others are still there, trying to find a way to wake you up.”

“Really? When did they began?” I asked.

“Ever since you entered the coma… we were all so worried…” she explained “Twilight came up with the idea of finding a cure on her books, and ever since that moment, they have been searching for it.”

We went outside, it was a sunny day, and it felt good to be outside again.

“And… Ayla also helped?” I wondered if Ayla was still trying…

“No, she didn’t want to, she was destroyed, I think I heard her say something about suicide…”

“Oh no… she didn’t do it… right?” I was worried, she was… no, IS my best friend.

“No, I remember she said something about a promise she made you… do you know what she was talking about?” Fluttershy seemed curious about that.

I didn’t remember anything about a promise… unless…

“Huh, I wonder if she meant to that promise…” I thought out loud.

“What promise?” Fluttershy asked.

“It was a long time ago… when we were just kids, I made her promise me that if I ever died, she would move forward.”

“Oh, I see… so… you two are like… very good friends?” she asked with a little blush on her cheeks.

“Yes, very good friends… but… that’s all, we never became… something more, you know what I’m talking about, right?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Anyways, what was of her?”

“Oh, she used to live with Dash, but about 4 days ago, she moved with Cloudchaser, they became really good friends.”

“Mm… I see…” I said “I’ll go visit her, but for now, let’s go to the library.”

We kept walking.

“Hey, I was wondering… what happened to YOU?” I asked.

She turned her face in order to face me.

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“Well… what did you do while I was… well, gone?”

“I didn’t really do anything… I remained at the hospital ever since you entered in coma…”

“So… you never left my side?” I asked

“No, I never left your side.” She replied “I even slept by your side…”

Her face blushed a little, I smiled to her, and she responded with her own smile.

While we were walking we bumped into a couple, a man and a girl, the four of us fell to the ground.

“Auch!” The guy said when he fell.

“I’m sorry!” I said while scratching the back of my head.

“Oh, it’s ok.” The girl replied.

I got up and helped Fluttershy to get up.

I saw the guy and he was wearing a crown, and the girl…

She… her… she had very big… attributes…

“Um… what’s wrong with your friend?” the guy asked to Flutershy.

I realized I was staring directly at her breasts… But I simply couldn’t help myself…

“Um… my eyes are up here…” the girl said.

“Oh, I’m sorry!” I said.

I looked up to her face, she had blue hair and a sleeveless blouse, the guy at his side… he was staring at me… menacingly.

He was wearing a red jacket and he had brown hair.

I gave a nervous laugh, he wanted to kill me with his sight.

“Ok, anyways, could you introduce us to your friend over here?” The girl asked to Fluttershy.

“Oh, yes, this is Night Wolf.” she said while holding my shoulder. “And Night Wolf, this are Milky Way and Hemix.”

“Nice to meet you Night Wolf!” Milky Way said.

“Yeah, nice to meet you bro.” Hemix added.

“So… you guys are like, boyfriend and girlfriend?” I asked.

“Yes, actually she is my girlfriend” he said while staring at me.

I smiled nervously.

“Anyways, we should get going honey” Milky said “We are going to be late!”

“Oh, you’re right!” Hemix said “we must hurry!”

“Where are you guys going?” I asked wondering where they needed to go.

“We are going to the theater, we will watch a movie.”

“Oh, that’s nice, we should go someday Wolf” Fluttershy said holding my arm.

“Yes, we should!” I replied.

Hemix and Milky hurried to the theater and we continued our trip to the library.

After some minutes we finally arrived the library, we heard some voices inside.

“Should I knock the door?” Fluttershy asked.

“No, I will” I said.

I closed to the door and knocked, I heard some footsteps coming to the door, then the door opened and Rainbow Dash was there.

“Yeah? Who is…” she said.

Her eyes opened wide and her jaw fell.

“N-N-N-NIGHT WOLF!?” she looked very surprised.

“Eyup, it’s me.” I said smiling.

Rainbow Dash closed the door right in my face, it almost hit me.

I could hear some voices inside.

“WHAT!?” a simultaneous scream could be heard.

The door opened quickly and everyone was there, when they saw me, they got very surprised.

“NIGHT WOLF!?” They all yelled.

“Yes, it’s me” I repeated.

“But, how!?” Twilight asked “You are supposed to be in coma!”

“Well, looks like I’m alright now!”

They all rushed outside and surrounded me.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you’re alive!” Pinkie Pie said.

Pinkie Pie jumped at e and knocked me down to the floor, she was on top of me, and she bounced repeatedly.

“Yay!! Night Wolf is back!! Yay, yay, YAY!” she kept bouncing on top of me…

“Pinkie… stop…” I said, it was beginning to hurt… but what worried me most was that… I was beginning to like it…

“Why?” she asked “Why, why, why, why, why, why?”

Every time she asked why she bounced, and she moved faster.

“Because…”

I think she noticed I was blushing because she stopped and checked where she was bouncing.

“Oh, I see!” she said “Sorry about that!”

She got up and moved back, I got up, it was a little bit hard to move, but I returned to normal after some seconds.

“Oh darling, I’m so glad you’re ok!” Rarity said “We were so worried.”

“Darn right we were!” Applejack added “We’ve been searchin’ like crazy for a book to help ya!”

“Yeah, and it seems like you were faster than me!” Rainbow Dash added “Talking about recovery, obviously.”

“Spike needs to know about this, he’s probably sleeping upstairs” Twilight said “let me go get him!”

“It will be nice to see that little fella again” I said.

The girls giggled, I wondered why they did, but I didn’t care.

Twilight came back and right behind her, came a man around my age with green hair and a face very similar to Spike’s.

He yawned “What’s all the fuss about?” he asked.

He looked at me and he took a time to realize.

“Night Wolf?” he asked “Is it really you!?”

“Um… yeah, and you are?” I asked.

“Dude, don’t you recognize me?” he asked “I’m Spike!”

“Spike!?” I was surprised by this, he was my age…

“How long was I asleep again?” I asked the girls “10 years?”

They all laughed.

“I mean it” I said.

“I think I should explain this to you” Spike said “You see, Twilight wanted to travel in time to save you, but she accidentally used a spell that made me age 10 years in a second.”

I understood what he meant, but I wondered, how could Princess Twilight Sparkle, owner of a Library and a very intelligent girl confuse an aging spell with a time travel spell?

“But, how could you get the wrong spell?” I asked to Twilight.

Twilight blushed.

“Oh, I can explain that” Spike said and Twilight exhaled in relief “You see, the text was written in old pyroancer text, not even I understood it, but now I understand, it appears that it was a spell that they used to skip all the training and simply jump right to battle.”

“Oh, I see, and why would they want that?” I asked.

“You see, Pyromancers are a very aggressive race, they like to fight and they do this because they don’t want to do the boring training.” Spike explained.

“I see… huh, what a strange race… but anyway, now you’re like a pro controlling fire?” I asked.

“Of course! Here, let me show you!” He opened his hand and made green fire appear, he made it big and small and he threw it to the sky and made it blow.

“Wow, nice!” I exclaimed.

“Cool huh? But that’s not the coolest thing.” He added “Come on, follow me, we gotta talk from man to man.”

I followed him to a place quite far from the girls.

“Look dude, the Pyromancer stuff is not the best thing about this” He murmured “Do you want to know what is the best?”

“Sure” I replied.

“The best of all is that.” he pointed at Rarity “I can finally be with the girl I love!”

I looked at Rarity “Rarity? Isn’t she like, too old for… Oh! I get it!”

“Yeah, you get it, now I’m her age! I can finally be with her!”

“Great, I hope you make it, she’s a gem.”

“Wanna know something funny about Pyromancers?” he asked “We eat gems for breakfast.”

We both laughed and we went back to the girls.

“Hey, what were you talking about guys?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Oh, nothing, just man stuff, nothing to worry about.”

“Oh, ok…” She replied.

“Hey, do you know where Rune is?” I asked to the group “I think it’s about time for me to visit her.”

“Oh, sure, she’s right over there.” Rainbow Dash pointed at a street “Just follow that street until you reach a light blue house.”

“Ok, thanks.” I was about to go, but I remembered something.

“Um… Fluttershy, could you wait for me either here or back at the house?” I asked “I think I should go alone.”

She looked confused by this “Why?” She asked.

“I want to talk with her by myself, I have a lot to catch up with her… you know what I mean, right?”

“Yes…” she said with a sad tone “I understand…”

“Thanks, I’ll see you later, we too have a lot to catch up.” I hugged her causing her to smile.

I waved my hand at all of them and I went to Cloudchaser’s house.

I wondered how this Cloudchaser would be, maybe they became really good friends… or maybe more…

I followed Dash’s directions and I arrived to Cloudchaser’s house, it was light blue and it had some windows, but I couldn’t see what was inside.

I approached the door and I knocked, I heard some footsteps and some laughs, then the door opened and there she was, Rune Ayla, she hadn’t changed a bit.

“Hello, who…” She remained speechless when she saw me.

“Hi, do you still remember me?” I asked.

“N—N-N-Night Wolf!?” she said “Is it really you!?”

“Wait, let me check.” I touched my body like if I was searching for something out of the ordinary. “Well, apart from the horn, I’m myself!”

“You… you silly!” she hugged me tight, I could see her eyes were filled with tears. “I missed you so much!”

I smiled “Me too.”

“But, how?” she asked “How can you be alive?”

“Well, remember what I always say? ‘Never Give Up’?” I asked her “That’s exactly what I did, I didn’t give up.”

“Oh, I’m so glad to see you again” she hugged me tight, too tight.

“Ay…la…” I mumbled “I… can’t… breathe!!”

“Oh, sorry!” she stopped hugging me and moved back.

“Thanks…” I said still catching my breath.

“Oh, I want you to know my friend Cloud!” she said.

“Oh, your special friend?” I asked.

“Yes… how do you know?” She looked confused.

“The girls told me.” I replied.

“Oh, I see, come on in!” she moved aside.

I entered the house, it was quite simple, but it already had some of Ayla’s crazy inventions, amazing what she can do in just a couple of days huh?

“So… you two are like… more than friends?” I asked.

“Oh… yes, actually… she is my girlfriend.” She replied.

“Oh, cool… wait… WHAT!?” I asked, shocked.

‘Did she just say GIRLFRIEND!?’ I thought.

“What? What’s the matter?” she asked.

“Hey, what’s all the fuss about Ayla?” a female voice asked from upstairs, I heard footsteps coming down.

Then a spiky, cyan and white haired girl came down from the 2nd floor, she looked at me, she was probably wondering who I was.

“Who’s your friend sweetie?” she asked.

‘SWEETIE!?’ I was shocked ‘Did she just call her SWEETIE!?’

“Oh, hey!” she moved and hugged the girl, and they kissed.

My mouth got wide open, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!?” I screamed, still shocked.

“What?” Rune asked “What’s wrong?”

“Oh, he’s probably surprised about… us I guess…” The girl said.

“Oh, right! I never told him I was bisexual.”

“WHAT!?” I bellowed.

“Night Wolf, I’m bisexual and right now, she IS my girlfriend.” Ayla said.

“Oh, so this is Night Wolf?” she asked curious. “Wasn’t he supposed to be in coma?”

“Oh, yes, he was, but I guess he woke up” Ayla replied. “I’m so happy he’s back.”

“Oh, I’m so happy you’re happy!” the girl said.

“Is she… Cloudchaser?” I asked.

“Yes, I’m Cloudchaser, nice to meet you Night Wolf!” she said “Ayla has told me a lot about you.”

“Heh, yeah…” I said.

“I think he’s shocked by the news” Cloud murmured to Ayla out loud “Anyway, I will go to work, don’t cause trouble ok?”

“Sure, have a nice day!”

They kissed and Cloud went outside and flew away, after that, Ayla closed the door.

“So… you’re a… lesbian?” I asked.

“Kind of, I’m bisexual.” She replied.

Then someone knocked the door.

“Huh? What could she forget?” Ayla said while approaching to the door.

She opened the door and a guy was there, Ayla got scared.

“Hey Ayla” he said “Nice seeing you again.”

“NO!” she said while moving back “You’re not supposed to be here! It’s IMPOSSIBLE!”

“Ayla, my friend… we ARE the definition of impossible…”

Rune seemed to recognize this mysterious guy, I knew I saw him somewhere, but I simply couldn’t get it together.

He had a spiky dark hairstyle, and he also had a cheerful expression, he was wearing a long sleeve shirt and some jeans.

“Ayla, as beautiful as ever” He said to Ayla “Actually, I think you’re even more beautiful than before!”

“You’re not him!” she yelled “You can’t be him, he was supposed to stay in there!”

What did they mean? I don’t really know, but I was very curious about who that guy was, I approached Ayla and helped her get up on her feet, as she was on the ground.

“Well, if it isn’t Night Wolf!” He exclaimed when he saw me “You’ve grown up a lot!”

“Who are you?” I asked “And how do you know my name?”

“Ha, I guess you did it Ayla…” He said “You did erase it.”

“Of course I did, but… it can’t really be you…” Ayla said.

“Stop saying it can’t be me Rune, it is me!” he said “I had to get out because he escaped.”

“What!?” she said “HE escaped!?”

“What are you guys talking about!?” I asked, I was very confused by all this, I didn’t know what they meant.

“You didn’t tell him?” The guy asked to Ayla.

“No…” she replied “I thought it would be better if he didn’t knew…”

“Answer my question!” I demanded.

“Very well… I will tell you a small story about your past Night Wolf… You deserve to know.” He said “But first, let’s sit down, I’m tired after all that walking…”

We sat down on some couches that Ayla had on the living room, she brought three mugs filled with apple cider, the guy drank some and then he cleared his throat.

“Ok, let me start…”

“Once upon a time, there were four friends: Ayla, who was very smart and loved making experiments and inventions; Cody, a very cheerful kid, he was always smiling and he always made jokes about everything; Tyson, he was quite shy, but he was a nice kid; and you, Night Wolf, you used to be a cheerful kid, you loved being with your friends.”

“They were the best group of friends you will ever see, they passed most of their time together… until they decided to visit a strange factory…”

“Come on guys!” Cody said “Let’s get in! There’s nothing to be afraid of, ghosts don’t exist!”

“I don’t know guys…” Tyson replied. “It looks… scary…”

“I agree with Tyson.” Night Wolf said. “It really looks scary…”

They were right in front of the factory, there were tons of stories about that factory, people thought that it was abandoned because ghosts haunted it, but the rumors appeared and made that place even scarier.

“Ghosts don’t exist Wolfie” Ayla said “Science denies the possibility of ghosts.”

“Yeah, and I heard there is a treasure chest hidden inside with a lot of gold!” Cody added. “Imagine all the stuff we can buy with a treasure like that!”

“I’m not sure about this, and what if the stories are true?” Night Wolf replied “You know, the one about that crazy guy who killed his family after he cut off his eyelids and made his mouth a permanent smile with a knife?”

“Yeah, and what about the one about that boy who lost his eyes and now he wears a blue mask and eats human organs?” Tyson added.

Ayla and Cody exchanged glances, and then they laughed.

“OOOhhhh, the scary eyeless kid will eat our liver!” Ayla mocked “Come on, that is not true.”

“Yeah, and how would someone survive without his eyelids?” Cody added.

“He can’t, humans need to sleep, and otherwise they die due to exhaustion.” Ayla responded.

Night Wolf and Tyson exchanged glances.

“Fine…” Night Wolf replied “But if we die, it will be your fault.”

The four friends decided to enter the factory, and as they approached the door, strange noises could be heard… steel crushing, old doors opening and closing, the cold whisper-like breeze…

Cody opened the door and the others entered the place. He closed the door right behind him.

The place was completely abandoned, the walls were made of rusted metal, they seemed like they would fall in any moment.

Tyson was scared, he never liked scary stuff, he hated the darkness and he sure hated having cold, and that place was scary, dark and it was cold as hell.

“Guys, we should get out, this place is freaking me out…” Tyson insisted.

“Oh come on Tyson!” Ayla replied “Don’t be such a scaredy cat!”

“Yeah, we just came in!” Cody added.

“But…” Tyson was interrupted by the sound of an object falling to the floor.

“What was that?” Night Wolf asked.

“Sounded like a pipe… maybe one fell to the floor.” Ayla replied.

“We should split up!” Cody added “Check out the place and meet back here!”

“Are you kidding?” Night Wolf asked nervously “Haven’t you seen any horror movies!? The first rule of horror movies is to never split!”

“But we aren’t on a horror movie” Ayla replied “We are in the real life, there is nothing to be afraid of here.”

“I don’t think that is a good idea…” Tyson said.

“Don’t worry, everything is going to be fine, look, Night Wolf, you will go through that door.” Cody pointed at a rusted door that was right in front of the entrance.

Night Wolf groaned “Fine, but don’t you dare make other of your stupid jokes, ok?”

“Sure, sure, just go.”

Night Wolf opened the door and kept moving, he disappeared in the darkness.

“Ok, now, Ayla and I will go upstairs, Tyson, you should stay here near the door.”

“Huh? Why me?” Tyson asked.

“Well, if you want you can go through that door” Ayla said pointing at a faraway door.

Tyson got scared “No, No, I-I’ll stay here.”

“Good.” Ayla replied.

Cody and Ayla approached the stairs, they looked back to make sure Tyson would stay where they left him, he was just standing there, scouting the area with his eyes.

“Do you think he will stay there?” Cody asked.

“Of course, I’m sure he won’t move an inch, he’s too afraid to do that.” Ayla replied.

Cody and Ayla moved upstairs, and as they approached the 2nd floor, they felt a cold breeze.

“This place sure is cold.” Cody said. “I’m freezing.”

“Yeah…” Ayla rubbed her hands with each other to create heat.

They kept on their way, they found some old factory devices and rusted engineering materials, everything was normal… until they found an odd door.

“Huh? Now this is weird…” Ayla said “This door is made out of wood.”

“Looks a lot like the one on my house…”

“Yeah… it does…” Ayla approached the door and inspected it. “I wonder what is inside…”

“We should open it.” Cody suggested “Maybe the treasure is hidden there!”

Before Ayla could reply, Cody rushed to the door and tried to open it, but the doorknob was jammed.

“Damn door is jammed.” Cody said.

“Maybe I can help” Ayla approached the door and moved Cody aside.

She grabbed the doorknob and tried to turn it. She struggled to open it, but after some seconds, the door finally opened.

The insides of the room were like the one of Cody’s room, it was an exact copy…

“Wow… it’s just like your room Cody!” Ayla said very surprised.

“Yeah… it’s… kind of creepy…” Cody replied “Well, I guess I have my own personal ‘Stalker’ huh?” Cody and Ayla laughed.

Then a strange dark-purple thing came out from the bed and jumped right to them.

Ayla quickly noticed this and in a swift movement she closed the door.

“What the hell was that?” Cody asked.

“I’m not sure… but whatever it was, it looked like wanted to kill us…” Ayla had a worried expression… for the first time ever, she didn’t know something.

“Ayla, I know this may be hard for you, but we MUST get out of here!” Cody said “We can’t know if there are more of those things lurking around.”

Ayla shook her head “You’re right…” Ayla and Cody nodded and rushed back to the exit.

On their way back they saw Night Wolf, he was running back from a hallway to the exit.

“Night Wolf!” Ayla said, she was glad to see him.

“Hey guys!” Night Wolf stopped right in front of Ayla breathing heavily “Just… let me catch my breath.”

“Why were you running dude?” Cody asked.

“There was… something back there… it looked like…”

“A purple slime?” Ayla interrupted.

“Yes… How did you know?”

“We just found one back there” Cody said pointing at the hallway upstairs.

“Oh… wait… where’s Tyson?” Night Wolf asked.

Ayla and Cody realized that Tyson wasn’t at the door, the only thing left of his were his glasses… oh, and Tyson used glasses, I guess I didn’t tell you that.

Ayla approached the glasses, she took them and examined them.

“There’s something wrong…” she informed.

“What do you mean?” Night Wolf asked.

“The glasses… they didn’t fall down… there is no sign of rupture… it’s just as if Tyson placed them carefully on the ground…” Ayla placed the glasses in one of her pockets.

“So… you’re telling us that he simply placed them on the floor and went away?” Cody asked.

“No… why would he do that? He doesn’t have the guts to prank us.” Ayla was nervous, she really cared about Tyson, for her, Tyson was like a little brother “Either way, we need to find him.”

“You’re right.” Night Wolf added.

Then a scream entered the room, it was Tyson’s.

“That was Tyson!” Cody said.

“It sounded like it came from that hallway! Let’s go!” Ayla said and rushed to the hallway, the others followed her closely.

The hallway was full of doors, they all looked the same and they were not sure which door was the right one, but there was a door at the end of the hallway that looked different… It was a wooden door, they decided to go through that door.

Ayla rushed to the wooden door and broke it with a fast kick, and there he was… Tyson simply stood there, looking at a corner, he was holding a piece of sharp metal.

Tyson looked at the others over his shoulder “Oh, hey guys!” He turned around and faced his friends “What’s up?”

Cody and Night Wolf exchanged glances, they were confused by the expression in Tyson’s face, wasn’t he screaming just a minute ago?

“We heard you screaming, so we came as fast as we could… why did you scream?” Ayla asked.

“Scream?” he asked “What do you mean?”

“Dude, you screamed, we thought you were being attacked by a monster or something…” Cody said.

“Oh! I remember, yeah, I was attacked by a small, slimy thing” Tyson pointed at a corner where a purple slime was laying “But don’t you worry! I killed it!”

Ayla, Cody and Night Wolf stared at Tyson, they couldn’t believe that Tyson killed that thing… they couldn’t believe he didn’t faint!

“This makes no sense!” Night Wolf exclaimed “Yesterday you were afraid of your own shadow, and now, you kill monsters!?”

“Well… I guess it gave me confidence… I don’t know...” Tyson scratched the back of his head and gave a silly, embarrassed face.

“Anyway, we’re glad you’re alive…” Ayla said.

Cody approached the slime, the other kept talking with Tyson.

“Hey Ayla” Cody said.

“What?” She replied.

“You should really come and check this out…” Cody crouched in front of the slime, Ayla crouched just at his side.

“Mm… it looks like a… slug?” Cody tried to guess what it looked like, Ayla shook her head in disapproval.

“No, no… It’s too… empty… and it’s almost completely transparent…” She analyzed the thing “I’m not sure what it is… but I better take a sample…”

“That seems like a good idea.” Cody said.

“Hey… I was wondering… why are you all serious?” Ayla asked while taking samples from the thing with a spoon and placing them in a plastic bag.

“What do you mean?” Cody asked back.

“You’re not supposed to be serious!” she exclaimed “You’re supposed to be making jokes about everything!”

“Uh, yeah… I guess I get serious when… you know… something tries to kill me…”

“Well… I guess you don’t stay like this… You know? I like you just how you are.”

Ayla kissed Cody on the cheek, Cody’s face turned bright red.

Cody gave an embarrassed laugh and scratched the back of his head.

“Heh, s-sure! I won’t change!” He always liked Ayla, and now that she said she liked him back, he was just so nervous that he couldn’t think properly.

“Good… Ok, this will be enough for now” Ayla said while she sealed the bag and stored it in her pocket.

Cody and Ayla got up and approached Night Wolf and Tyson, Night Wolf was checking Tyson’s legs and arms, trying to find any wounds he could have.

“No wounds, seems to me that you’re alright!” Night Wolf said, trying to sound smart.

“I already told you that!” Tyson exclaimed.

“Yeah, but I just wanted to make sure.”

“Whatever.” He said and he pushed Night Wolf and approached to the exit, Night Wolf fell to the ground.

Ayla came closer to Night Wolf and helped him get up.

“Are you ok?” She asked.

“Yes… I guess…” He replied while rubbing his arm.

“Why is he acting like this?” Cody asked while looking at the doorway Tyson used to get out “He’s not like this…”

“I know… but we can’t think on that now.” Ayla said while helping Night Wolf get on his feet “Let’s go to our houses for now.”

“Yeah, I could use some sleep…” Night Wolf said.

The three of them went to the doorway, but something caught Cody’s glimpse, he turned around and saw the corner where the thing was… it was gone…

“Cody, let’s go!” Ayla said “It’s late, and you know how dad and mom are when we come house late!”

“Coming…” Cody said.

Cody went back to his friends and they got out of the building, Tyson was not outside, he went back to his house.

Ayla and Cody took Night Wolf back to his house, Night Wolf’s parents really cared about Night Wolf, and the moment they saw Night Wolf couldn’t easily move, they got very worried, they helped him upstairs to his room and asked Cody and Ayla who had done that.

Ayla couldn’t answer that, and neither could Cody, they didn’t want her to know that his friend Tyson did that to him, they simply said that Night Wolf fell on a rock.

His mother wasn’t sure they were telling her the truth, but she was more worried about his son in that moment.

Ayla and Cody went out of the house and then to their house.

Cody used to live in a house next to Night Wolf’s house, but that was until his parents died in a car accident 3 years ago, when he was 7.

Ever since then, he has been living with Ayla, Ayla’s parents were caring, her mother was a great cooker, and her father was a great inventor, Ayla inherited her love for science from him, they always work together in new inventions; last week, they built a device, they got the idea from a famous tv series called Dragon Ball, they called it Scouter 3000 Mark IV, the Mark IV was because they built other 3 before, but they kind of… went with a boom…

Ayla used her scouter to analyze stuff.

When they came back home, their parents were waiting for them on the living room, they asked them why they came so late, Cody and Ayla told them that they went to a factory and Ayla told his dad she was going to examine a new material she found.

Her father was proud of her, while her mother was still a little bit angry, she sent them back to their room.

“Ok, what exactly are you going to do with that?” Cody asked while closing the door behind him.

“I’m going to make experiments with it, to see what kind of effects it has and see if there is a cure.” She explained.

“IF it causes a disease, right?” Cody added.

“Of course silly!” she replied.

“Well, just be sure not to give me cancer while you do that, ok?”

Ayla laughed.

“I’m going to sleep, I’m very tired.” Cody said while getting in his bed.

“Ok sweetie, I’ll check on this a little bit more.”

“Fine… wait… did you call me sweetie?” Cody asked.

“Uh… n-no! I said… Uh… Luigi!” Ayla said.

“Luigi?” Cody asked “Why would you call me Luigi?”

“I-I probably just got confused… don’t worry about that…”

Cody closed his eyes and tried to sleep, he had a horrible dream, he was alone in the dark, and he could hear screams, and the floor was covered with blood… Then he saw Tyson… he was standing there… he had a knife in his hand…

“T-Tyson…?” Cody asked “What’s happening?”

Tyson looked at Cody from over his shoulder… and he smiled...

He turned around, he was covered with blood and his knife was also covered with blood.

Then the lights turned on, Cody could see… but he wished he couldn’t.

There, behind Tyson, were his friends and his parents… they were covered with their own blood… they had been slaughtered…

“No…” Cody said.

Tyson stared at Cody… they both remained still… Tyson began playing with his knife.

“You like what I did there?” Tyson asked.

Cody didn’t answer, he was in shock.

“I didn’t want to kill them you know?” Tyson said “I just wanted to have fun, but they had to struggle… that made me have to kill them… but still, it was fun!”

Cody couldn’t believe it, his friend… he killed his friends and parents… and he enjoyed it!

“But now… I don’t have any one to play with… unless…” Tyson stared at Cody and then approached him.

“N-no… get away…” Cody said while moving back.

“What’s wrong Cody?” Tyson asked “Are you scared of a scaredy cat like me?”

Cody moved backwards, but he tripped over something and fell to the ground, he kept moving back, but he soon bumped a wall, there was no way out, he looked at one side… at the other… no way out.

“Don´t worry… you won’t feel a thing… only pain…” Tyson laughed as he approached Cody.

Cody desperately tried to get up, but Tyson quickly stabbed his shoulder.

“Oh, no! Don’t go! Look! You are wounded… let me help you with that…” Tyson took the knife back and stabbed Cody’s shoulder repeatedly.

“S-stop…” Cody mumbled, the pain he felt was horrible, his sight was getting blurry.

“Stop!? But I NEED to save you!” Tyson said “Just, let me go for the good stuff… I will take your heart out…”

Cody’s eyes got wide open, he desperately tried to escape, but Tyson was extremely strong.

Tyson took his knife and with his hand he grabbed Cody´s face and smashed it against the wall, then, he closely approached the knife to his right eye…

Then Cody woke up.

He was in his room… It was just a dream…

Ayla looked at Cody with a worried expression.

“Are you ok Cody?” Ayla asked, then she got up from her working table and approached Cody.

“I-I guess…” Cody replied.

“What’s wrong? You’re shivering…” She touched his forehead “And you have fever!”

“I… I just had a horrible dream… I don’t want to talk about it…” Cody sat on the side of the bed.

“Whatever it was, it was nothing, you’re ok, nothing will harm you Cody…”

“T-t-thanks…” He replied.

Ayla hugged Cody tightly “Don’t worry… Everything is going to be alright.”

Cody calmed down a little, Ayla gave him that sensation of… protection… he knew that as long as he was with her, everything was going to be alright.

“Thank you Ayla…” Cody said.

Ayla left Cody and moved back to her table.

“Did you find something interesting?” Cody asked looking at her table.

“Actually… I wanted to talk with you about a discovery I made… come here a second…” Ayla gave Cody a signal for him to sit by her side.

Cody got up from the bed and sat next to Ayla.

“Look.” Ayla took two cages with a rat on each one, “In this cage, there is a rat that is normal, a common rat.

Ayla then took a sample of the purple slime.

“And this is a rat with the slime.” She said while placing the slime on top of the rat.

The rat began struggling and making violent movements… then it stopped, like if it was a robot and it simply turned itself off…

“Is it dead?” Cody asked.

Ayla placed her finger on Cody’s mouth and shushed* him.

The rat suddenly woke up and acted like nothing happened.

“You see now?” Ayla asked.

“Yes… but what does this mean?” Cody didn’t really understand what Ayla wanted him to see… Ayla noticed this and moved the two cages together.

“Look, I’m going to connect the cages.” Ayla opened both cages and joined the entrances.

The moment the infected rat saw the other one, it jumped on it and bit it to death, the other rat struggled to get free, but it was useless, the other one was too strong.

“This is what I wanted to show you…” Ayla took the jar where she kept the remaining slime “This thing somehow affects the central nervous system of the living thing it touches… I believe it takes control of its body and it increases the overall strength.”

“As surprising as it may sound… I actually understood everything you said.” Cody replied.

“Really?” Ayla asked, she was glad that she didn’t have to explain everything again for a change, “Now that’s new, I’m glad you finally understand…”

“But… I still have one doubt…”

Ayla sighed.

“I knew it was too good to be true… let me explain all that again…” Before Ayla could continue, Cody covered her mouth with his hand.

“What I mean is that… if that slime caused that to that rats simply by touching it…”

Ayla processed this information for a moment and then she gasped.

“Then… there’s a high probability… IT ALSO AFFECTED TYSON!”

“We need to get to him before he hurts anybody!” Cody said.

“But wait!” Ayla grabbed Cody’s shoulder before he reached the door.

“What!?” Cody said.

“How can we be sure this… thing actually affected him?”

“Didn’t you see how the rat reacted? It was exactly like Tyson!”

Ayla didn’t understand Cody’s statement, it just didn’t make sense.

“What do you mean?” She asked.

“Try to remember, how did Tyson react when he saw us? Was there anything different in him?”

Ayla tried to remember “I… I don’t really know…”

Cody sighed “He wasn’t scared!” Cody declared “Don’t you remember that Tyson used to be scared of everything?”

Ayla gasped “You’re right!” She said “He wasn’t scared… and he said that he killed the thing!”

“Exactly, he couldn’t kill a fly.” Cody took Ayla left hand “Let’s go before he hurts anyone!”

Ayla nodded and they got out of their room.

They moved quietly since it was 1 o’clock in the morning and their parents were asleep.

They opened the door and went to the street, Tyson’s house was just a few blocks away, and they shouldn’t take long to get there.

The streets were deserted, everyone was asleep and the air was cold, Ayla and Cody had a strange feeling… like if they somehow knew that something horrible was going to happen.

When they finally arrived to Tyson’s house, they saw the door open… and all the lights were off.

They slowly approached the door, there was an odd smell in the air, they couldn’t recognize it.

The insides of the house were pitch-black…

They searched for a light switch, the moment they found it they turned on the lights… they couldn’t believe what they saw…

The living room was covered with blood, the floor was a red lake, and in the center of the room, there were Tyson’s parents… their arms, legs and heads were dispersed around the lake of blood…

Ayla gasped but Cody quickly covered her mouth.

Cody waited to see if there was someone in the house… but nothing could be heard.

“Where’s Tyson?” Cody asked.

Ayla took Cody’s hand away and approached to what it seemed like a small note on the door.

“Look” Ayla said.

“A note?” Cody approached Ayla and looked at the note.

The note was written with blood, and it said ‘I already played with my parents for too long… they aren’t fun anymore… I guess I’ll have to visit my good old friend Night Wolf… maybe he will last longer…”

Ayla and Cody gasped, Tyson was going to kill Night Wolf… they had to stop him.

They got out of the house and ran to Night Wolf’s house, they could only expect the worse.

Night Wolf’s house was quiet… but all the lights were off, and this time, the door was locked, Ayla approached the door and broke the lock with a single kick, even she was surprised by her overwhelming strength, but she didn’t care, she had to stop Tyson.

Cody quickly searched for a light switch, when he found it, he turned the lights on.

There, standing in the center of the room, was Tyson, he was covered in blood… in his left hand, he was holding a knife… but in the right hand… he was holding a head… Night Wolf’s mother’s head…

Tyson looked at his friends and smiled, “Oh, you finally came!” Tyson said with excitement, “I was wondering when you two would show up to play!”

“W-w-what have you done Tyson!?” Ayla screamed.

“What? Oh, this?” Tyson asked and lifted the head in his right hand. “Don’t worry about this, I just helped her, she had a headache… and now… she won’t ever have one again…”

“Why!?” Cody yelled “Why did you do that Tyson!?”

Tyson’s face changed from a bizarre smile to a cold face.

“Why… heh, that’s easy…” He stared at Cody with his cold eyes and smiled “Because it’s fun…”

Tyson began laughing and raised his sight to the ceiling.

“But… NO! TYSON! YOU’RE NOT BEING YOURSELF!” Cody shouted, “SNAP OUT OF IT! YOU’RE BEING CONTROLLED!”

Tyson stopped laughing.

“PLEASE!” Cody’s eyes filled with tears “GIVE ME BACK MY FRIEND!”

Tyson lowered his face, his eyes got covered by his hair.

Ayla could see Tyson, she thought that maybe Tyson could fight it out, but by some strange reason, she couldn’t talk.

“So… you want your friend back…” Tyson said softly, “If you want it so badly…”

Tyson dropped the severed head and quickly approached Cody and with a fast movement he punched Cody in the stomach, the strength of the strike was so big that Cody was thrown to a nearby wall and crashed on it.

Tyson then approached Cody, who was coughing blood.

Cody had difficulties breathing.

“Do you like your old friend?” Tyson said while approaching Cody.

Ayla ran towards Tyson and tried to stop him, but he pushed her with his left arm, Ayla crashed with a wall and fell to the ground.

Tyson kept approaching Cody, he grabbed Cody’s face and was just about to slit Cody’s throat… but right before that, Night Wolf came from the stairs and jumped on top of Tyson and drove him away.

“DON’T HURT MY FRIENDS!” Night Wolf shouted.

Tyson moved to a nearby wall and crushed Night Wolf against it, Night Wolf fell to the ground.

“You little fool… how dare you attack me!?” Tyson grabbed Night Wolf’s face and lifted him up against the wall.

“If you want to die so badly, I’ll start by killing you!” Tyson grabbed his knife tightly.

“NOOO!” Ayla screamed, she desperately tried to get up, but she couldn’t, she was too weak.
In a fast movement, Tyson stabbed Night Wolf in the stomach repeatedly, Night Wolf began coughing blood.

After some stabs, Tyson left Night Wolf fall to the ground.

“That’s what you get…” Tyson looked back and saw Ayla and smiled.

“You know Ayla? I was going to kill you last… but now that Night Wolf intervened… I thought, why not make Cody suffer a little bit more?”

Tyson slowly approached her “And what better way to make him suffer than killing the person he loves the most?”

Ayla gasped.

“Huh?” Tyson felt confused, then he realized and began laughing, “You didn’t know Cody was in love of you, right!?”

Tyson laughed as he approached Ayla, “Yes… he is madly in love of you Ayla… and to think that you will die knowing that you never noticed how much he loved you… now that’s funny!”

Ayla managed to get up, but she leaned against the wall, she was paralyzed by fear.

Ayla didn’t notice how much Cody really loved her, she felt horribly, mostly because she was also in love of him.

Tyson slowly approached Ayla “Now… you die!” He prepared to slash Ayla and kill her in a fast movement…

Ayla, terrorized, closed her eyes and she waited for the fated moment… then she heard the stab… but she didn’t feel anything…

Scared, she slowly opened her eyes, and she was shocked by what she saw.

There, right in front of her, stood Cody… he protected Ayla with his own body and Tyson’s knife was deep into Cody’s body.

“HA! Even with your last breath, you are willing to protect her!? Now that’s stupid!” Tyson took the knife away, Cody moved backwards and fell on Ayla’s arms.

Ayla held Cody and fell to the ground.

“No… Cody… not you…” Ayla’s eyes filled with tears.

“A-Ayla…” Cody said weakly, then he coughed blood.

“Cody, no! Don’t talk, you need to keep your strength.”

“No… Ayla… I have to tell you… something…”

Ayla was still crying, Cody placed his hand on Ayla’s cheek.

“Ayla… don’t cry…. You will ruin your make up…”

“You fool, don’t you see you are dying!?” Ayla said “Now it’s not the time to make jokes!”

“I’m sorry… but I can’t help it… It’s in my nature... but… Ayla… I really wanted to tell you this…”

“What?” Ayla’s eyes were still filled with tears.

“I… I love you Ayla…”

Ayla cried ever harder “I love you too Cody!”

“Huh… I wish we… we had more time together… but… I guess we… can’t…”

Cody was getting weak quickly, so he said his last words.

“Ayla… promise… me… that you… will stay… alive…”

“Cody… I… I promise…”

“Thank you…”

Cody felt weak and he slowly closed his eyes.

“Oh, too bad! He’s already dead, I wanted to hear more!”

Ayla became furious… she slowly placed Cody on the floor and got on her feet.

“How dare you…” Ayla said filled with fury, “I… I loved him…”

“So what?” Tyson replied “It was fun watching him die slowly…”

Tyson laughed.

“You… YOU MONSTER!!”

Ayla quickly punched Tyson in the face, the strength of her fist knocked Tyson to a nearby wall.

Tyson, surprised by this, looked at Ayla, there was something different in her…

Her eyes… a green shine came out of them, it looked like green flames.

“What? What the hell…”

Ayla rushed to Tyson and punched him and sent him flying to another wall, she jumped on top of him and began punching his face repeatedly.

Then she grabbed his neck and lifted him up.

“W-W-WHAT ARE YOU!?” Tyson said filled with fear.

“I… AM YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE!” Ayla shouted.

She grabbed him and repeatedly smashed him on the floor and on the walls.

Tyson was terrorized… and desperately tried to get free… but he couldn’t… Ayla had some strange kind of energy that made her incredibly strong.

“P-PLEASE! LET ME GO!” Tyson screamed desperately.

“Do you really think I will let you go!? After what you’ve done!?”

"Please..." Then Tyson grabbed his knife and tried to stab Ayla, but the knife couldn't go through her skin, it was like if her skin was made of steel...

Ayla looked at Tyson with incredible fury.

Ayla took Tyson’s knife, “I could simply kill you… so simple… I just have to slice through your throat and there!”

Ayla grinned and looked directly into Tyson’s eyes.

Tyson was scared… terrified…

Ayla was swung h the knife and… stabbed the wall, right next to Tyson’s face.

Tyson was confused… Ayla then punched him and he fell unconscious.

“I won’t kill you… too much people had died already…”

Ayla felt a strange pain inside of her…

“Now… what do I do?” Ayla fell on her knees “I’m alone now… all my friends are… dead…”

Ayla cried, but she heard something… a voice…

“A-Ayla…” the voice said… she easily recognized it… but she couldn’t believe it…

“Cody?” Ayla looked at Cody’s body… he was still breathing!

She rushed at his side and held him on her arms.

“Ayla…” Cody said weakly.

“Cody! But… how!?”

“I don’t know how… something made me stay… alive… and I just realized… something…”

“What?”

“I… I know how to save me and Night Wolf…”

Ayla couldn’t believe what she heard, how can you save someone who is about to die, and someone who’s already dead?

“But… how?”

“No… time to explain… take Night Wolf, Tyson and me back to the lab…”

“Tyson!? Why him!?” Ayla said

“Trust me… without him… this won’t work…”

Ayla nodded and grabbed the three of them, it was hard, but she somehow could hold the three of them and move.

The streets were still deserted… and it was still dark outside, it seemed like no one noticed anything that happened that night...

Ayla managed to get to her garage, she opened the door and cleared three tables, where she carefully placed her friends.

“Ok, now, what’s the big idea Cody?” Ayla asked.

“Ok… remember how Tyson cured after some of the things you did to him?”

“I guess…” Ayla tried to remember and then she realized that he did cure from cuts and scratches, actually, he was intact when she placed him on the table.

“Well… this means he has a regenerative factor…” Cody explained.

“So… why is that good?”

“Remember that time when we used the machine to teleport me inside of Night Wolf’s mind because he was scared of the darkness?” Cody asked.

“Oh, right! But… why is that useful?” Ayla couldn’t piece the events together.

“Remember… did Night Wolf’s body change when I was inside of his mind?”

Ayla made a big effort to remember.

“Y-Yeah! His body changed… like if he was a… a combination of you and Night Wolf…”

“Exactly… now… what if we place Tyson inside of his mind?”

“Then… he would get the Regenerative factor and would cure himself!” Ayla said excited “Cody, you’re brilliant!”

“Yeah, I know…” Cody coughed blood again.

Ayla looked at him “But… what about you!?”

Ayla approached the machine and pushed the button, the laser disintegrated him and sent him to Night Wolf’s mind.

“And that’s the story I wanted to tell you...” The mysterious guy said to me, I couldn’t believe it… it was just… too incredible to be true… and I didn’t remember anything about it…

“No… that’s not true… it can’t be…” I said.

“It’s true…” Ayla said.

“Because… I am Cody…” He replied.

“It was a year ago, remember your machine? The Portal?” Cody asked.

“Yes, I remember, I had it ready by that time… but it suddenly broke…” Ayla replied.

“But wait a second… if he entered the portal… then that means…” I said.

“That he is in this dimension, yes.” Cody added.

“But… how did you and Tyson get out?” I asked.

“That’s the funny thing, Tyson, I don’t really know… but I never got out, the moment you entered the portal… we got separated, I fell on a place called… Fillydelphia…”

“Oh, I see…” I said “But… how did you know where I was?”

“That’s easy… we were still connected… I could see exactly where you were… until… well… until you lost your horn.”

Cody took off his hat and we could see he had a horn as well…

A bright light came from the window, I woke up and stretched my arms, I yawned and got out of the bed.

I opened the door and there she stood, Fluttershy was outside of my room, she gazed at me for a couple of seconds and then she hugged me.

Her body felt warm… and nice, but I didn’t understand why she suddenly hugged me, it was so… random…

“Huh… why are you…” I said before she covered my mouth with her hand.

“Shh… just… enjoy…” She whispered on my ear.

Then she uncovered my mouth and hugged me again.

“Huh… o-k…” I said.

I placed my arm around her, she laid her head on my chest.

I began stroking her hair… I don’t know why but I really love her hair, it’s so soft, and it’s smell… I can’t describe it’s smell with simple words… it’s just… better that perfect…

Her hands lowered slowly and this is where things got… strange…

She moved her hands to my chest and then began lowering them… until she reached my… err… cock…

I took my coat and my pants and I got dressed, I checked at the clock and it said it was 12 o’clock… weird… I thought that it said it was 11 o’clock when I first woke up in the morning… but as I said before, I didn’t really care.

I walked to the door and grabbed the handle, but before I opened the door, I looked back and saw Fluttershy was still sleeping, her wings were so beautiful her hair, and the silhouette her body created below the blankets, she was just perfect, I couldn’t believe I was so lucky to have her with me.

I mean, a stupid guy like me, how could I possibly get a beautiful girl like her? I was not eve handsome, I was a common guy from another dimension.

I went downstairs and then I opened the main door, outside was a beautiful day, the sun was bright and the temperature was just right, it was not too cold and not too hot, it was just perfect.

I decided it was time to visit my friends, so I went to Sugar Cube Corner to see my funny friend Pinkie Pie.

The door was opened as usual, I walked right in and I couldn’t believe what I saw.

Right in the middle of the room there was a big chocolate cake and a big note that said ‘Congratulations’.

I approached the cake to see the note, but before I could take the note someone tackled me and I fell to the ground.

“Pinkie?” I asked.

Pinkie Pie turned me around and began bouncing on top of me.

“Yay! You guessed right!” Pinkie said.

She got up and helped me get up.

“So… why did you push me?” I asked.

“Because it’s fun!” she replied “Wasn’t it fun?”

“Yeah… anyway, what’s up with the cake?” I pointed at the big chocolate cake in the middle of the room.

“Oh, it’s for you!” she said.

“W-what?” I looked at the cake and back to her “For me!?”

“Yes! It’s for you!”

“But… why?” I asked, why did they bake a cake for me?

Then Mrs. Cupcake and Mr. Carrot Cake came from upstairs.

“Hey Night Wolf!” Mr. Carrot Cake said “Nice to see you!”

“Hello Mr. Carrot Cake!” I said “Hello Mrs. Cupcake!”

“Oh hello Night Wolf! I really hope you like the cake we baked for you!” She replied. “It was kind of hard to make, but it was worth it.”

“It’s awesome… but, why did you bake a cake for me?” I asked.

“Oh no! I knew you wouldn’t like it, I knew you wanted cupcakes, oh, I’m so sorry!” Mrs. Cupcake said nervously.

“Oh, no, it’s great! I love it, but I was just wondering, what did I do to deserve such an incredible cake?”

“Oh, well, you have done so much for us, so we wanted to give it to you!” Mr. Carrot Cake said.

“Yes, you’ve done a lot!” Mrs. Cupcake added “But now is not the time to discuss that! You must enjoy your cake!”

I wasn’t really sure what I did to deserve it, but oh well, you should accept the good things that come by themselves.

I sat on the table with the cake in front of me, I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all, so I thought maybe Pinkie Pie would like to help me.

“Hey Pinkie, would you like to help me with this?” I asked, expecting for a great yes.

“Oh, no, I hate cake.” She replied.

What!? Did she just say that she hated cake!? But in the party she threw at me she almost ate the whole cake before the changelings attacked! She loves cake!

“What!?” I exclaimed. “Didn’t you love cake!?”

“No, I hate it.” She said.

I was… impressed, maybe she changed since that party… but what had me really worried was the fact that I was going to have to eat the whole cake all by myself.

I tried to eat it, but it was just too much, I stopped at a fourth of it, I just couldn’t keep going.

I thanked Mr. and Mrs. Cake and Pinkie Pie for the cake and told them I would finish it later, after that I exited the building.

I was still surprised by the fact that Pinkie Pie hated cakes, but I decided to ignore it, at least for now, because right now I wanted to pay a visit to my good friend Rarity.

As I approached the Boutique, I thought about what kind of… improvements I could ask Rarity to do to my coat, I wanted a double sheath on the back of the coat, even if I never used it, I just wanted it there, just in case.

I opened the door to carousel boutique and entered the building, Rarity was cutting some kind of silk, and she noticed me and turned around.

"Oh, hello darling!" Rarity said, she seemed to be happy to see me "What brings you here?"

"Oh, nothing in special, I just wanted to visit the best designer in all of Equestria" I said.

"Oh stop that, you're making me blush." Rarity said "Anyway, I'm glad you came, could you help me?"

"Sure, what troubles your mind?" I asked.

Rarity looked at me confused by the words I used.

"What's wrong?" I said making sure she understood that that is just what I meant.

"Oh, yes, sorry about that, anyway, I lost a box, it was filled with golden silk, have you seen it?" She asked.

I knew that wasn't going to be pretty, last time she lost a piece of that silk, she went nuts, and now she lost a full box!

"Uh... no..." I braced myself for the crying and the screams but... Nothing happened.

"Oh, well, I guess it must be somewhere here, bah, I'll find it later." She said calmly.

I didn't understand, she didn't really care, last time I checked that was some very valuable silk...

"Oh, Wolfie, I have a new costume I'm sure you'll love!" She said filled with excitement.

"Oh, really?" I said also excited by this.

She approached a curtain and opened it and there it was, an awesome dark leather jacket with red claw marks on the back and on the front, it was just awesome.

"So? What do you think?" She asked.

I was speechless, the only words that came from my mouth were "uhh... Ohhh..."

"Come on now, tell Rarity if you like it or not!"

"It's... I... I love it!" I exclaimed.

"Oh am I glad to hear that! I was worried you wouldn't like it." She said with relief.

I stared at the jacket, but something caught my glimpse, a fast movement from the kitchen to the stairs.

I approached the stairs to see what it was, Rarity was busy decorating some dresses so she didn't notice me.

As I approached the stairs I heard someone moving around upstairs, I wondered who it was,.

I slowly went upstairs making sure I didn't make any noise, I'm not sure why but I could feel... Danger...

There were a couple of doors upstairs, but the sound came from the second one, I approached the room and opened the door, I saw a girl up in a staircase, she was trying to get a book, but she suddenly lost balance and fell from the staircase.

I quickly moved to catch her but she broke the window and fell through it, I knew I had to do something and without thinking I ran to the window and I quickly grabbed her hand.

She was terrified. "I'm going to pull you up!" I said.

"O-ok!" The girl said still terrified.

I pulled her arm and managed to get her back inside, I fell to the ground and she fell on top of me.

I sat on the floor, she began crying, I can imagine the terror she felt in that moment, after all, she almost died! Hopefully I was there to save her.

She cried for a minute and then she slowly calmed down.

"Are you ok?" I asked softly.

"Y-yes... I think so..." She answered quietly "thank you..."

"No problem, but next time, try to leave the flying to the pegasi, ok?" I made a small joke just to break the ice and make this whole situation a little more... comfortable.

The little girl giggled "Sure."

"But really, what were you trying to do?" I asked.

"Well... I was trying to get that book up there, I guess I lost balance and fell..." She replied "But thankfully you were here to save me sir!"

"Yeah, I'm glad I came here."

"Sorry for asking but... Who are you?"

"I'm Night Wolf, but you can call me Wolf." I answered, she then raised her face.

She was a cute little girl, around 10 years old, she had green eyes and violet hair with light pink stripes.

She was also wearing a white little dress, probably made by Rarity.

"And who are you?" I asked.

"Oh, my name is Sweetie Belle, but you can call me... Uh... Sweetie Belle!" She said and she smiled, she looked so cute, usually I don't care about cuteness but... She was just... Too cute.

Then the door opened and Rarity entered the room.

"Sweetie Belle!" Rarity exclaimed "What happened!?"

"Sis!" Sweetie Belle tried to get up but fell, I caught her once again.

"Ow! My ankle..." Sweetie Belle said "It hurts."

"Don't worry, I'll carry you." I said.

I took her and held her on my arms.

"But, what happened!?" Rarity asked.

"I fell from the stairs and also out the window... But the good thing is that Night Wolf was there to save me!" Sweetie Belle explained to Rarity.

"Oh sweet Celestia! I'm glad you're ok!" Rarity seemed relieved and happy to see her sister safe and sound.

"I think we should take her to a doctor, you know, to check her ankle." I suggested.

"Oh, why of course! But I think it will be better if I call one to come here" Rarity replied.

"Are you sure? Cause I could take her to the hospital..."

"No, you've done enough, I'll take it from here." Rarity took Sweetie Belle from my arms and went out of the room "you should go with Twilight, she said she had something very important to tell you..."

"Ok, thanks!" I exited the room and went back downstairs, the boutique was lonely, there were only the mannequins and the dresses.

I wanted to take the jacket with me, but I didn't wanted to wear it and I didn't really want to take it to the cottage since... Well... I just... Wasn't on the mood for melons... and I also had to get to Twilight since she said she had something important to tell me.

I decided to leave the jacket there and pick it up later.

When I went outside I realized the streets were... deserted... no one was outside... it was weird... actually, I realized people had been acting... strange...

Pinkie Pie hating cake, Rarity not caring about a box filled with golden silk... And then... Fluttershy and her... sudden wishes... something was wrong.

I kept thinking about this as I walked to the library, in my way I encountered Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

"Hey Night Wolf! What are you doing?" Dash asked as she approached me.

"I'm going with Twilight, she said she had something important to tell me" I replied "any idea what it is?"

"Mm... not really... but ah guess its somthin' important, so... ya should hurry." Applejack said.

"Hey Wolf, I was thinking, what about you and I have a race?" Dash said.

"A race? With you?"

"Of course dummy! I want to see how fast you are!" She seemed excited, probably because I was just another competitor.

"Fine, how about a race to the library?" I suggested.

"Sounds good to me! Applejack, I'll help you with those apples right after this, ok?" Dash was eager to start, I could see her wings flapping like crazy.

"Ah don't mind partner, just... try not to destroy anything this time will ya?" Applejack said.

"Well... i can't promise you anything, it all depends on Wolf." What did she mean? I didn't know. Was I ready for the race? I was ready to lose if that's what you're asking.

How could I defeat the great Rainbow Dash? After all those stories Fluttershy told me when we first talked, how can I ever beat the girl who made a sonic boom using simple her wings? But I was not going to give up if that's what you're wondering, no, giving up is just not my style...

We got ready, Applejack began the countdown... when she got to the "go", I began running as fast as I could, but obviously Rainbow Dash was already pretty far away.

She was going very fast, but then she slowed down just enough to get by my side.

"What's wrong? Why don't you run faster?" She said while flying backwards with her hands behind her hair.

"It's easy for you to say, I mean, you can fly!" I said, it was hard to keep on, even with her flying without any real effort.

"Oh, yeah, I kind of forgot that tiny little factor... Oh well, I guess I'll win" she was getting cocky... and that just gave me an idea... "Hey, tell you what! I'm going to slow down a little, that way you won't get humiliated that bad!"

After saying that, she faced forward and flew about a meter in front of me.

I realized I was not able to defeat Rainbow Dash using my speed... so I decided to make a plan... it's just how a great man once said: "STRATEGY BEATS POWER, ALWAYS."

My plan was simple... crazy, but simple. I doubted it could really work, but it was the best I had in that moment.

I kept running and I grabbed a rock from the ground and, threw it back to the ground, and the impact of the rock on the ground caused other rocks to lift in the air, I jumped and used one of the rocksthem as a platform and jumped even higher.

I managed to go over Rainbow Dash's head, I saw her turn around, probably to mock me, but she didn't see me, which made her stop and look for me, this just gave me the advantage I needed to win.

I fell and landed right in front of the library.

"Hey Dashie!" Rainbow Dash turned around and her jaw fell and her eyes were wide open "I think I won!"

"B-b-but... How the hay did you do that!? When did you... this isn't possible!"

"I'm just going to say this" I said "Strategy Beats Speed, Always."

"But..." Rainbow sighed "Ok... you won... man I hate losing!"

Rainbow Dash flew back to Applejack who was far away walking towards us.

I couldn't believe I defeated the fastest pegasus in the whole world! It was great!

I turned around and faced the library,; the lights were on, so I assumed Twilight was home.

I knocked on the door hoping for someone to open it.

"Coming!" Said a voice from the inside, it was Twilight's voice.

Right after that I heard tons of things falling to the ground and a lot of "auchouch, oh, no" etc.

The door opened and Twilight was right in front of it to welcome me, she seemed like if she just fell from the stairsstaircase or something.

"Night Wolf! Am I glad to see you!" Twilight said, she seemed happier than I expected...

"Oh, please come on in!" She moved away from the doorway and made me a gesture to take a seat.

"Thanks." I entered the library, a lot of books were on the floor, and the table was turned over.

"Oh, I'm sorry for the mess, let me clean it up." Twilight extended her arm and her horn got covered by magic energy.

Using her magic, Twilight lifted all the books and placed them in the bookshelves and placed the table as it was supposed to be.

She took a seat on a chair in front of me.

"Tell me, what brings you here?" She asked.

"Rarity told me I should come here,; she said you had something very important to tell me."

Twilight looked at me with a confused expression,; she began thinking and scratched the back of her head.

"Oh! Right! I remember now!" She said "I found something great... well... kind of..."

"What do you mean with kind of?" I asked.

"Well... You see, I found a book that cited another book which has a very important spell that I need." She explained and began walking around the room, "But the problem is that I can't seem to find it anywhere..."

"I see... and why do you need it?" I asked.

"Well... that's not really important right now,; the important thing is that I need to find it." Twilight seemed worried... like if that book was very important to her.

"Is there any way I can help?"

"Oh, yes! I was hoping you would say that!" Twilight approached the bookshelves "You see, I already looked everywhere, but I may have missed a spot, could you please look in one of these roomrooms while I look in the other room?"

"Sure thing!" I said.

"Oh thank you! The book's name is 'The art of restoration and transformation volume II."

I nodded and went to search on the shelves, Twilight entered the other room and closed the door.

The shelves were labeled with the type of spells the books had, there were: offensive, defensive, perceptive... etc. So I figured that the book she was looking for should be on the "restoration" part.

I looked for the book in that section and I quickly found it.

"Hey Twilight! I found it!"

"What!? Already?" She asked.

Twilight came back to the room I was in and when she saw the book she remained speechless.

"B-but... how!? Where did you find it!? I searched for it everywhere!"

"Oh, I just looked in the section of restoration." I explained.

Twilight gave herself a facepalm and took the book from my hands.

"Anyway, thanks for your help." She said.

Twilight opened the book and switched pages for a moment and then she stopped.

"Here it is! The spell I needed" she said filled with enthusiasm, "Night Wolf..." She said "could you help me with another thing?"

"Sure, what do you need?" I asked.

"Well... I need to test this spell to see if it does what I need it to do..." She said while taking a pair of reading glasses from the table and putting them on "and I was just wondering... would you be so kind and stand in the middle of the room so I can test it on you?"

"Uh... why me?" I asked.

"Well... Spike went to Rarity's house and this can only work on... well... unicorns... so..."

"But... I'm not an unicorn anymore... don't you remember?" I pointed at the spot where my horn used to be.

"Don't worry about that, even without your horn you're still an unicorn, so, please? Could you please be my test subject? I promise I'll make it worth you a while..." She used a strange tone when saying that last sentence...

I sighed "ok... I guess..."

"Yes! Thank you so much! I promise that when this is over you will love what goes next!"

I nodded and approached the center of the room, Twilight told me exactly where to stand and after I was in place she read the book and extended her arm.

The magic concentrated on her horn, it seemed like a powerful spell, when she was ready she shot the spell and it hit me just in the head, I fell to the ground.

The spell caused me a headache, I wonder what that spell was supposed to be...

"Wolf? Are you ok?" Twilight asked.

"Uh... Yeah... I just have a headache, that's all..."

"Hey, you have... something in your head... Right here." She said pointing at my head.

I passed my hand over my head and I... I felt something... something familiar...

Then I realized what is was... IT WAS MY HORN! MY HORN WAS BACK!

"Wha... M-m-my horn!?" I touched it and felt it, it really was my horn! "I... I can't believe this!"

Twilight giggled "I knew you would like it."

I stared at Twilight "You knew about this?" I asked.

"Of course! That's why I wanted to try it on YOU." She said.

I couldn't believe it... it was too good to be true...

"Come on! Try using your powers again!" Twilight suggested.

I extended my arm and focused... I could feel the magic being sent from my horn to my hand... I focused and a gunblade appeared in my hand, I couldn't believe it! I had my powers back!

I tried again, this time I spawned the master sword, then the buster sword, then rebellion and I kept like this for 5 minutes.

I was so happy, I never really had the chance to use this powerspower, but now I had them back, I was free to use them for as long as I wanted! And the swords were not the only thing I got back,; I also got the ability to copy video game powers! It was great,; could this day get even better?

I looked at Twilight and hugged her "Thank you so much!" I said.

"Don't thank me,; this is all because of the magic of friendship that made me continue to look for this spell for you."

"The magic of friendship?" I asked "what do you mean with that?"

"Oh, don't worry,; you will soon learn what it is."

I didn't understand that "magic of friendship", but what really mattered in that moment is that I got my powers back! Yeah!

"You should go and tell Ayla about your powers!" Twilight said "I'm sure she will be as happy as you!"

"You're right! I'll go right away!" I ran to the door and went outside.

I think I heard something as I approached the exit but I'm not sure... I just heard "...pe ...u... ie..." I just assumed it was just the wind or something Twilight said that I misheard, so I kept going.

I was eager to show Ayla the good news, I just knew she would be as happy as me, after all, she's my best friend, right?

As I approached Ayla's house the climate began to change... it changed from a beautiful sunny day to a cold and cloudy day... it was a sudden change in climate, but the weirdest thing is that... no pegasi controlled the weather... they told me that pegasi control the weather in Equestria and I've seen many pegasus moving clouds and stuff but... not this time... this time the weather kind of... controlled itself...

Ayla's house was quiet... the door was unlocked, its; it’s common in Ponyville but... Ayla never does that... I opened the door and entered just to find a desert eagle and a shot gunshotgun both aiming at me.

"Whoa!" I gasped "watch out with that!"

"What are YOU doing here!?" Ayla's voice asked, she was the one holding the desert eagle.

"What do you mean? I just came to visit my friend." I replied.

"Shut up you monster!" Cloudchaser yelled, she was holding a sniper rifle.

"M-monster!? What is that supposed to mean!?" I asked offended by what she said.

"What part of shut up you didn't understand moron!?" Cody asked angrily, he was holding the shotgun.

"What the hay is going on here!?" I asked "why are you guys aiming at me with guns!?"

"Why? Why!?" Ayla said, she sounded very angry "Because you are a monster... because we all hate you... because you deserve to die!"

"S-stop saying that! It's not funny!"

"Next time you talk I'll put a fucking bullet in the middle of your stupid eyes!" Ayla yelled.

"Stop it!" I yelled.

Ayla pulled the trigger, the bullet landed just next to my head, on the wall...

"That was a warning shot... next one will go to your face." She said.

"What is wrong with you!? You could have killed me!" I said nervously.

"Very well... guys, shot to kill." She said and they all began shooting at me, I managed to get out of the house and ran away...

Why did they act like that!? Why were they trying to kill me!? Why would they ever do that!?

As I kept running, the door of the house was blasted and Ayla and Cloudchaser chased me from the air and Cody chased me on the ground.

"Why are you trying to kill me!?" I asked terrified.

They kept shooting at me, I knew my only chance of survival was to either outrun them or defeat them, and I knew I wasn't going to be able to outrun them and I would not be able to defeat them since they were three and had firearms.

I decided to slow them down, I used my powers to spawn the buster sword, I jumped and I smashed the sword to the ground, this made huge boulders to lift up to the air and the three of them crashed on them, this gave me enough time to escape.

I decided to head back to the library, maybe Twilight could help me with them, but the door was locked and the lights were off.

I knocked on the door and yelled, but no one answered... I looked back and the only thing I saw was a fist, with a quick movement I evaded it, the impact of the fist on the door was so strong the door broke into shreds..

I thought it was Ayla, but when I saw who it was, I realized it was actually Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Twilight were behind her, they all looked angry.

"What are you doing here you monster!?" Rainbow Dash asked angrily.

"Oh no, not you too Rainbow Dash!" I exclaimed.

"You didn't answer her question." Twilight said.

"Whatever he's doing here, it must be bad,; I knew he was a evil the moment I saw into his eyes..." Pinkie said, she was... Different... her hair wasn't puffy anymore, it was straight and she was extremely serious.

"Pinkie is right, that monster just gave us all problems, we should kill him right away, am Ah right?" Applejack yelled.

"Yes, I agree, he deserves to die" Twilight added "Dash, finish him!"

Rainbow Dash smiled and then looked at me directly to the eyes "With pleasure..."

She took a sword from her back and tried to cut me in half with it, but I somehow managed to evade the sword and I ran away.

They chased me, I was worried, but not by Pinkie Pie, or Applejack, or even Rainbow Dash, no, the one I was most worried about was Twilight... her magic was incredibly powerful, Fluttershy once told me about her achievements...

Then a quick thought crossed my mind... 'That's it!' I thought, 'If there's someone who doesn't hate me, it must be Fluttershy!'

I decided to head back to the cottage, maybe Fluttershy could explain what was going on, and I just knew that she wouldn't hate me.

But suddenly a huge boulder engulfed with green flames fell right in front of me, the impact made me fall on my back.

I looked around to see from where this huge boulder came from, and I saw Spike, standing on the roof of the carrousel boutique, his hands were also covered with green flames.

He jumped from the roof and landed in front of me and slowly approached me, the flames on his arms took the shape of a sphere.

"So... the monster finally shows his ugly face..." Spike said, his voice was serious...

"Stop calling me like that!" I demanded "Why do you hate me all of a sudden!?"

"Why? I'll tell you why we all hate you... we hate you... because you were born..." Spike said.

I was shocked... was that the real reason why they all hated me? Because I was born!?

"But why!? If you hate me because I was born, then tell me, why did you treattreat me like your friend!?"

Spike laughed "Because... if we hadn't treated you like a friend... this moment wouldn't be fun... you see..."

"Yes! It wouldn't be fun!" Rainbow Dash said, she was behind me along with the others, Rarity had also joined them.

"Why yes, we want to kill you..." Rarity said.

"But breaking your heart seemed like a better idea..." Pinkie added.

"You see... if we tried to kill you before you considered us your... Friends... you could have killed some of us... but now... you won't even try!" Spike explained "And why? Because you still think we are your friends!" Spike laughed.

Everyone began laughing... at me... I felt a horrible pain in the chest "Is this how it feels to have your heart broken?" I thought...

"I... I have to get to the cottage!" I thought "I'm sure Fluttershy will help me... I just know it!"

While they all laughed at me, I got on my feet and ran to the cottage, I ran as fast as I could, they took around a minute to realize I was gone and began chasing me, but I managed to get to the cottage in time and locked myself in.

The others tried to open the door but I managed to keep it closed, and after a while, they stopped... there was silence... I just hoped they gave up and they went away... but I knew that wasn't the case...

I moved away from the door and looked for Fluttershy, knowing her, she should be hiding somewhere in the house...

I searched downstairs and found nothing so I decided to go upstairs, but still nothing...

I went back downstairs, knowing I would have to get outside again... but before I got to the last step, I saw her, she was standing in the middle of the room... facing the door.

I ran towards her, I was so glad she was ok,; I wanted to hug her so badly, I just wanted someone who actually liked me, and I knew she liked me.

But before I could hug her... she slapped my face really hard...

I touched my cheek, it really hurt, I looked back to Fluttershy and she... She seemed... angry...

"Why!?" She asked very angry "Why did you do it!?"

"W-what do you mean?" I asked innocently.

She punched the table next to her,; she almost broke it "DON'T YOU TRY TO FOOL ME!" She yelled "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN!"

I didn't know what to say... what did she mean with that?

"How dare you look at other girls!" She yelled even angrier "I... I thought we had something special!"

"I don't know what you're talking about!" I replied.

"Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about! The way you looked at Milky Way... at Pinkie Pie... even at Rarity!"

She then grabbed and squished her breasts together "This is the only thing you care about, don't you!?" She yelled at me "As long as they are big, you don't care, right!?"

"N-no! I'd never do that!" Fluttershy slowly approached me, I moved backwards, getting away from her.

"Oh, of course you did! And to think I had a crush on you! What a fool have I became!" She looked at me directly into the eyes.

As she was slowly approaching me, I bumped with a wall, I was trapped...

"Now... I'll just have to..." Before she could finish her phrase, a sword entered the window and right through her chest.

She fell backwards, but before she touched the ground, I caught her.

"No... not you!" I said, my eyes filled with tears "No! Please! Don't die!"

Fluttershy coughed blood and looked at me... and laughed.

I didn't understand... why was she laughing!?

"Finally!" She said and coughed blood again "Finally I can stop pretending!"

"W-what are you talking about?" I asked "What do you mean with 'pretending'!?"

"Gosh... you really are more stupid that how you look..." She replied.

"Answer me!" I demanded.

"Fine... I never liked you moron..." She said while coughing blood "All the time... I was acting!"

"No... not you..."

"Yes! Don't you get it!? We all hate you! Nobody in this place likes you, nobody ever did!"

She kept laughing "The only thing I'm glad of... is that I can finally die... I'd rather die than spending one more... second... with... you..."

She coughed even harder until she died...

By that time... my heart was completely broken... no one liked me... everyone hated me... they've always hated me...

I stood up and tried to walk, but I just fell on my knees and placed my hands on the floor... and cried...

I cried for a long time... it appeared like hours... maybe days... I didn't know... and I didn't care...

I felt like... like if I was absorbed by and eternal darkness... a lonely place where no one cared about me... I was alone... my only companion there was darkness...

I felt a strange presence, I looked up and standing there, in the middle of the darkness, a strange man covered by a dark robe...

"Are you really surprised about this?" The stranger asked with a deep voice.

"Who are you?" I asked, I cleaned my tears, but I was still sad.

"Who I am doesn't matter, what really matters is that I am your friend..." He said.

"And why should I believe you?" I asked "How can I know that you aren't just faking it?"

"I am you friend... your only friend... and I am the one who saved you from that horrible place..."

"What?"

"I am the one who brought you here, this is the only place where you can be safe, and this is the only place where they can't reach..." He explained.

"Why did you save me?" I asked "why would you save a monster like me?"

"Because... you're not a monster... they are the monsters... but don't you worry, you shall get your revenge soon."

"Revenge?" I said.

"Yes... you and I shall destroy them all..."

"D-destroy them? I can't destroy them!" I exclaimed.

"Why? Because they are your friends?" He asked "You heard it from them! They were never your friends! Even that girl, Fluttershy, preferred to die than being with you."

I lowered my face... he was right... they were not my friends... they were nothing... they were enemies...

"I shall leave you here, while I'm gone, think about my proposal, we can destroy them all, or you can deny it, and remain with no friends at all... your choice."

He walked into the darkness and slowly disappeared of sight...

I began thinking... I just couldn't believe they were acting all that time... I thought they were my friends... but now I saw the truth... I had no friends, only enemies, enemies who attacked me directly into the heart... enemies who deserved death.

I kept thinking, I remembered the good times... the bad times... the laughs and the pain... the fun and the sadness... the worries and the happiness... I felt a huge compilation of different feelings, I felt happy, angry, sad, scared... but I came to a conclusion.

The strange guy came back after about an hour, "So?" He asked "Have you made up your mind yet?"

"Yes." I answered, "I did."

"Then, will you join me?"

Before I could answer him, an explosion made a hole in the darkness and Fluttershy, along with Luna and Twilight, entered through the hole.

"There he is!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Hurry!" The stranger said "We must go!"

I tried to grab his hand, but Luna attacked him and I got covered by a dome of magic, it held me in, I tried to break free, but it was useless.

I turned around and saw Fluttershy and Twilight, Twilight used her magic to keep the dome up, and Fluttershy approached me.

I was terrified,; I knew they would kill me... I knew there was no way out... so I accepted my faith.

I closed my eyes and waited... I waited for my death... but instead of that, I felt a warm feeling that surrounded my body...

I opened my eyes and I saw Fluttershy, she was hugging me with her head on my chest.

She was crying "I was so worried..." she said "I'm so glad you're ok..."

I didn't understand, why was she hugging me? Didn't she hate me?

"Uh, guys... I can't hold it any longer! We need to get out!" Twilight said.

"Right, come on Night Wolf!" Fluttershy grabbed my hand, but I didn't move, she looked at me "w-what's wrong?"

"Why?" I asked "Why do you play with my feelings?"

"What do you mean?" She asked innocently.

"Didn't you hate me!?" I said angry "Didn't you want to kill me!?"

"No Night Wolf!" Twilight said "It was all fake!"

"Yes! It was all a dream!" Fluttershy added.

"What?" I asked "A dream?"

"Yes, luckily princess Luna discovered there was something wrong and came to tell us!" Twilight explained "We managed to create a portal, but I can't hold it and the barrier by myself."

I was shocked, all a dream... but it also explained so much! "So that's why everything was so strange!" I exclaimed.

The barrier suddenly broke and Luna was thrown to Twilight, I looked at the stranger, he took off his robe and I realized who he was.

"Shadow!?" I said.

He looked at me,; he was angry "Curse you!" He yelled "I was so close! So close to corrupt him! But you had to intervene, didn't you!?"

"You won't take my friend!" Fluttershy said.

"Now I'll have to force him to join me, do you have any idea how hard it is!?" Shadow said

He ported next to me and pushed Fluttershy away and made a dark barrier around us leaving Fluttershy and the others outside.

He used his dark energy and held my arms and legs.

He punched me repeatedly and then he asked "Now, ready to give up?"

"No" I said.

"Fine" he kept punching me and he made me suffer a lot, I coughed blood, this kept going for about an hour.

"What keeps you going!?" He asked "Why don't you give up!? Aren't you afraid of death!?"

I didn't reply.

"What is it!? What keeps you going!?"

I laughed.

"Why are you laughing!?" He asked.

"I didn't know what she meant at that time... But now... now I finally understand..." I said.

"What are you talking about!?"

"You really want to know what keeps me going!?" I said.

"What!?"

"Friendship!" I screamed "It's the magic of friendship that keeps me going.

"What are you talking about!?" He yelled.

"You won't understand it since you don't care! But friendship has an incredible power that you wouldn't understand!"

I suddenly felt filled with power, like if a spark appeared inside of me and made me stronger, I easily destroyed the dark energy that held me.

"What!? Impossible!" He screamed, but his expression changed... like if he saw something that made him happy "Oh... I see now..."

He moved away and disappeared in a dark cloud, the last thing he said was "This is far from over Night Wolf!"

I felt all this... power... was this really the magic of friendship? Could friendship really give me such strength?

"Night Wolf! We have to go!" Luna yelled from a distance.

I forgot about them, I ran to the portal, it was closing but the three of them were holding it open, I jumped and managed to get through it, barely.

After I crossed the portal, I woke up, I was laying on my bed at the cottage, Fluttershy, Luna and Twilight were next to my bed.
I laughed "Now that was a dream..."

"How did you know?" I asked, I noticed it was still dark outside, but it seemed like the sun was just about to come out.

"Well... we didn't know, Luna is the one that told us." Twilight explained.

"Oh, really? But... how did you know I was in trouble Luna?" I asked.

"You see Night Wolf, I am in charge of protecting everyone's dreams, I protect the dream realm, and as soon as I noticed this... Anomalies in your dreams, I came as fast as I could and told Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy about this."

"I see... did you see anything of the dream?" I asked.

"We... we saw everything..." Twilight said, her face began to turn red, I wondered why...

"Yes... we saw EVERYTHING..." Luna added "Even..."

It took me a while, but I realized they really saw EVERYTHING... even the... Fluttershy thing... Never in my life have I blushed so hard…

After that, everything went good, Twilight went back to her library, Luna went back to Canterlot and I stayed with Fluttershy, she insisted that she wanted to stay in my room, so I let her stay.

"Umm... Wolf... can I ask you something?" She asked with a soft voice.

"Sure." I replied.

"Did... you like it?" She asked even quieter.

"Like what?" I asked.

She looked at the floor, she was blushing "You know... did you... like... doing it with me?"

I began to blush and I was wrong, now never in my life I blushed harder. I scratched the back of my head "Uh... I... err..."

"Please" she said "answer..."

"Uh... y-yes..." I replied, I felt so uncomfortable, it's not every day a girl asks you if you liked... doing it with her...

I looked back and Fluttershy was still facing at the floor, but I could swear she smiled at least a little.

"I... I'll go to my room..." She stood up and went back to her room

That was one of the most embarrassing moments I had in my life... but I wonder... what did she think about that dream? And more importantly, what did she feel about me?

I had so many questions... but I was exhausted... funny thing is that the only thing I did was sleeping!

Before I slept, I thought about something... how come ever since I came to this place, I only got trouble? And why me? But then I remembered all the new friends I made, so, I guess it isn't that bad! But so many things had happened... I wonder what will happen next... who knows!
