Sweet Star, cute little filly with a unique power even for a Unicorn. She loves to have adventures just like parents.
Sweet Star, is the daughter of singer Sweetie Belle and Detective Starbloom. Nothing to special there, but even at an early age she showed aptitude for magic. Sweet Star has now around five years old and very adventurous. As much as her parents try to keep her out of trouble she still gets into her fair share on her little trips around Ponyville and even the Everfree.

Sweet Star woke up slowly in the morning sitting up in her small bed yawning softly. Rolling off the bed to her hooves she trotted her way down stairs heading to the kitchen. The morning was quiet, she could make out the sounds of her mom getting breakfast ready in the kitchen.
She made her way into the kitchen looking up at Sweetie and smiled. "Morning mama, where is mama Starbloom?" She asked tilting her head faintly.
"Morning Star," Sweetie said smiling at her, "She's still asleep she was up late last night again." She answered, while Star went to the counter and climbed her way up onto a stool.
"Oh.... she sleeping late again huh?" Star asked after getting herself settled on the stool. Watching as Sweetie put a bowl of oatmeal in front of her with some orange juice. Sweet Star had a pink colored coat, her mane and tail was blue and darker pink in color. She had a green eye like her mom Sweetie, but her other eye was red.
"Yea, she does have to work at night sometimes. So if your going to play inside it'll be best if do so quietly." Sweetie said smiling at her as she sat across from her with her own breakfast.
"Yes mama I will." Sweet Star said smiling as her horn flickered with a red aura and she started to eat.
Sweet Star had always been naturally gifted with magic, while she did display magic as a foal like most unicorns do. She didn't loose it like most. She did forget how to do the spells so Starbloom and Sweetie had to reteach her how to use levitation.
"Mama can I go play over at Cinnamon's house?" Star asked smiling up at Sweetie when she finished her breakfast. Cinnamon Apple, was Apple Bloom and Featherweight's little colt. He was a year older then Sweet Star but they got along well.
"Sure Star, just be back before it gets to late and be careful." Sweetie said smiling at her. Star smiled back and hopping off the stool and headed to the door going outside. It was a nice day out, only a handful of clouds drifting through the sky.
Star started to trot down the street towards Sweet Apple Acres East Farm. Despite plans to move to Batlimare, Apple Bloom and Featherweight decided to stay in Ponyville. They decided to stay close to family and had a house built on the east farm.
It wasn't to far for the filly to trot to, she opened the gate and headed inside closing the gate behind her as she made her way to the house. She smiled as the looked at the big apple trees around her. She saw Cinnamon near the house practicing bucking a tree stump.
Cinnamon was a earth pony, light brown in color with a orange mane and tail like his mom and brown eyes like his dad. Star ran up to where he was and watched him buck at the stump again. "Nice buck, Cinnamon your getting strong." Star said smiling at him.
Cinnamon looked at Sweet Star and smiled. "Thanks! I'm gettin` better at it." He said, he had the same slight country accent like his mom did. Though it wasn't as noticeable since his dad didn't have it.
"Do you know if Swift Wing is going to make it today?" Star asked tilting her head. Swift Wing was Scootaloo's daughter, she was about the same age as Sweet Star.
"I don't know, I think Scootaloo took her on tour with her again." Cinnamon said sighing abit before smiling. "But we can still have fun, what did you have planned for today?"
She looked around quietly to make sure no one was listening in before leaning over close. "Sneaking into the Everfree forest to explore that cave." She whispered grinning. "What do you think?"
Cinnamon grinned back nodding. "That sounds like a lot of fun. Come on, let's go." He said and both of them started down the path heading away from the house.
The made there way to the edge of the forest looking around to make sure no one saw them before darting inside and down the path. Star took the lead since she knew the way to the cave she wanted to explore.
"What do you think is in the cave Star?" Cinnamon asked keeping close so not to get separated in the forest. "Maybe it's a dragon's den and has lots of treasure in it." He said thinking out loud.
"Hmm I don't know, that might be pretty cool though. Could bring home a bunch of treasure and jewels." Star said giggling and smiled over at Cinnamon before finding the cave. "There it is." She said pointing, the cave entrance was to small for a dragon or anything large.
Cinnamon looked unimpressed though looking at the cave as they got closer to it. "Star... this is to small for dragons." He said sighing softly his dreams of treasure dashed.
Star made a face at him. "Well I'm still going in, might be some cool stuff in it." She said and started into the cave to start exploring, her horn taking on it's red glow to give off light.
Cinnamon thought for a moment before grumbling and followed her into the cave. It was bigger on the inside but not to much could be seen. After a few minutes he spoke up. "Star I don't think there is anything in here but rocks."
Star sighed softly as she looked around as well. "Maybe your right, I guess this cave has nothing fun in it." She said and started to turn when a glint of something shiny caught her attention.
"Hang on I saw something," She said trotting over to the shine that caught her attention. Cinnamon moving to keep up with her. She used her magic to pick up a small purple marble, the little marble was connected to a silver chain. "Ohhh pretty."
Cinnamon stuck his tongue out. "Blah it's just a necklace." He said and huffed abit.
Star ignored him and put the necklace on smiling before looking around more for anything else that might be interesting. Her eyes went wide seeing a skeleton near where she saw the necklace. "Eeeep! Skeleton monster!" She yelled and turned to run, Cinnamon running after her to keep up.
After getting out of the cave both stopped and panted a bit trying to catch there breath. "I.. think we got away..." Star said looking at Cinnamon who nodded in response.
"Cinnamon Apple! Sweet Star! What in tarnation you two doing out here?" An angry voice yelled. Both looked up seeing Apple Bloom standing by the path near the cave.
"M.. Mom!?" Cinnamon yelped in surprised blinking, "How did you know we was out here?" He asked both he and Sweet Star moving to the path looking at the rather unhappy Apple Bloom.
"I was on my way home from visiting Zecora when I heard you two. Come on, yer going home, both of you." She said and lead both of them from the forest. She headed to Sweet Star's home first.
The walk back to the house was pretty quiet, neither of the foals daring to try and speak. Apple Bloom dropped Star at the house with an apologetic, and upset Sweetie Belle before Apple Bloom took Cinnamon home.
"Star, what were you thinking going into the Everfree Forest?" Sweetie asked peering down at her daughter. "You know how dangerous that place can be, even during the day."
Star pouted and tried to be adorable as she looked at Sweetie, "W.. we was just exploring mama." She said shuffling her hooves a little. "I promise we wont do it again." She smiled up at Sweetie.
Sweetie just huffed abit and shook her head ruffling Star's mane alittle. "What am I going to do with you?" She asked then tilted her head seeing the necklace. "What's that?"
"It's a necklace, I found it in this cave. Isn't it pretty?" She asked smiling up at Sweetie.
Sweetie nodded at her and smiled. "Yea it is, now go get a bath for dinner. Your staying in today, I'll talk to your mother about your punishment when she gets home."
Star nodded and blinked. "Aww mama... do you have to tell mama Starbloom bout this?" She asked pouting abit up at Sweetie.
Sweetie nodded at her and smiled. "Yes, I do, now go on." Sweetie said grinning shooing her to the bathroom.
Star nodded and headed up the stairs to the bathroom turning on the water watching the tub fill. She used her magic to take off the necklace and looked it over tilting her head. She tapped the marble with her horn softly.
"System Reboot in process, Stand By." Came a soothing female voice the marble shimmering and hovered on it's own. The voice spooking Star and she lost her magical grip on the marble.
Her eyes going wide watching the marble hover in front of her. "What's going on, who's in here?" She asked looking around quickly to see if somepony had snuck into her bathroom.
"Reboot Complete. Status Report. Condition Green. Welcome New User, please state your name," The voice spoke again and Star tilted her head looking at the marble.
"Sweet Star, my name is Sweet Star." She said tilting her head watching the marble. "Who are you?"
"New User Recognized, Sweet Star. I'm Violet Heart, your new Intelligent Device." Violet said, a purple light passing over Sweet Star a few time. "Analysis complete, your current magical level is high enough to use me."
Star just blinked abit then squealed "Oh!" She used her magic to turn off the water in the tub noticing it was almost overflowing. She lifted the plug to drain some of the water out. "What, do you mean Intelligent Device? I don't understand." She said looking at the marble before putting the plug back into the drain before getting into the tub.
"I'm a device used to allow mages to harness their magical power." Violet said floating next to her.
"I'm not a mage, I'm a unicorn," Star said looking at the marble washing her mane. "I've never heard of a unicorn needing a device before."
Violet was quiet, lines of text flashing across the surface for a few moments before it spoke. "Unicorn, species not listed in records. Either the data has not been entered into my system, or something terrible happened to my old master."
Sweet Star tilted her head lightly looking at Violet. "Maybe he was the skeleton in the cave." She said standing up to scrub her body with a soft brush using her magic. "That's where I found you after all."
Violet was quiet as it scanned through data again. "Record Found, master appeared on this planet and was attacked. I was put into recovery mode and eventually lost power."
"Oh... I'm sorry about your old master." Sweet Star said rinsing herself off and started to drain the tub shaking herself before getting out of the tub and used a towel to finish drying herself. "How do you get power?"
"I use a very low amount of magic from my master to power myself." Violet said, moving and hung itself around Sweet Star's neck.
Sweet Star tilted her head faintly opening the door and leaving the bathroom. "So.. your draining my magic?"
"Very little, not enough to effect your current magical power." Violet answered.
"Ohh... well that's okay then, I thought it was a lot." She said looking around before heading to her room and climbed up onto her bed. "Can you teach me how to use you properly?" She asked tilting her head.
"Of course master, I can teach you all you need to know." Violet said shimmering softly. "Starting Visual Training Simulation One. Close your eyes master"
Sweet Star tilted her head and closed her eyes. In her mind she found herself standing in a large grassy field. It seemed so real to her, she could smell the grass and the fresh air. Violet was next to her floating in the air.
"So, let's begin the first lesson master." Violet said, and Sweet Star nodding smiling.
Sweet Star looked around quietly standing inside of imaginary world of the training world. It was a nice little grassy plains area with Violet floating next to her. She waited for Violet to start the training session. She blinked as targets started to appear all around her, on the ground and in the air.
"First Lesson, combat tactics, and aerial maneuvers. Start when ready." Violet said in the same slightly motherly tone.
"Umm I don't know any combat spells." She said blinking at the targets then over at Violet. "And only pegasi can fly."
"Don't worry master. I shall teach you." Violet said. "Point your horn at the first target and open your mind. A spell will come to you."
"Umm.... alright." She said and pointed her horn at the first target close to her, and something came to her mind. "Shoot!"
"Mana Spear" Violet said the spell name, a purple beam of energy firing from Sweet Star's horn hitting the target. "Nice Shooting Master."
Sweet Star blink and grinned bouncing up and down. "Yay I did it, I did it!" She smiled at her, she jumped up, and small purple wings appearing on her hooves flying into the sky and hovering. "W.. what is this!?"
"Swift Move." Violet said, speaking another spell just before she flew up into the air. "Your flying master. To move around lean in the direction you want, to go up or down push your hooves in those directions."
Sweet Star tilted her head faintly nodding lightly leaning forward she felt herself move forward, she leaned back and felt herself moving backwards. "Oh this is fun. How do I go faster?" She asked smiling, Violet moving with her.
"Just think of how fast you want to move and you will move at that speed." Violet said moving and attaching to her necklace again.
"Alright, let's see here." She concentrating on moving after as she leaned forward. Suddenly feeling herself take off like a rocket. "Wahhh! To fast! To fast!" She tried to slow herself down, she felt herself slow and smiled taking a deep breath. After a few minutes of practice she felt herself starting to control her speed better.
"Sweet Star, dinner!" She heard floating around her mind and her eyes snapped open and came out of the training world. "Sorry Violet, I got to go to dinner." She said jumping off the bed.
"Understood master, we can continue after you eat." Violet said before going quiet.
Sweet Star trotted down stairs looking around smiling. She made her way to the table and hopped into her chair. "Hi mama Sweetie, hi mama Starbloom." She said looking at her parents.
"Hello Sweet Star, I heard you got into a little trouble today." Starbloom said smiling at her daughter, "Adventuring around in the Everfree Forest huh?"
Star squeak a bit at her mother and nodded. "Yes mama Starbloom, I did, I wont do it again, I promise." She said pouting softly.
Sweetie smiling at Starbloom and Sweet Star listening to them. "Of course not, Sweet Star you will be a good girl wont you?" She asked as she put the plates out on the tablet and started to fill them with pasta with vegetarian sauce and a light salad. She also placed cups of apple juice for everyone before taking a seat.
Twist had moved out a few months after Sweet Star was born. She was still in town, living in Starbloom and Sweetie's old house and still working at Sugar Cube Corner. Sweet Star and her got along pretty good and sometimes Twist gave her sweets for free.
"Yes mama Sweetie, I'll be a good girl." Sweet Star said smiling at Sweetie, then looked at her food. "This looks really good mama Sweetie." She smiled even more before starting to eat. She always enjoyed pasta and fresh salad.
Dinner passed by pretty quick, and quiet. Sweetie and Starbloom talked about things, but Sweet Star wasn't that interested in grown up talk so she didn't pay attention to it. Once done she slipped from her seat. "Mama Sweetie, mama Starbloom may I be excused?" She asked smiling cutely at both of them.
"Of course Star, just put away your plate and cup first." Sweetie said smiling at her. Star nodded and used her magic to take her dishes to the sink carefully putting them away before heading to her room again hopping onto her bed.
"Can we continue the training please?" She asked Violet smiling as she closed her eyes focusing on the training area again.
"Of course master, resuming training program one." Violet said and they found themselves back in the grassy field. The targets still floating around the area, she also still had the small wings on her hooves. "When your ready, target practice will start."
Star nodded and smiled looking at the targets. "I'm ready Violet, let's start." She said giggling looking around at the different targets.
"Training Program Start in ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Start." Violet said as the counter started to go down. Soon as she heard the word start she focused her magic aiming her horn at the target. "Mana Spear."
The purple blast fired from her horn into the target. She turned quick and fired another one at a different target before leaping into the air, the wings flapping and she fired a beam into one of the air targets. A counter was running, counting down the hits, misses, and time between shots as well as an over all rating.
She turned quick and fired another blast into a target behind her, twisting around and shooting another blast into a different target on the ground. Once she finished off all the target she landed on the ground. "Score, Seventy Nine Percent." Violet said and Star blinked a few times.
"Seventy Nine Percent?" She asked tilting her head lightly. "Is that good?"
"It's good for a first try, you can use multiple attacks." Violet said. "Full Reports, Twenty Five hits, Five misses, Time between shots, two point five seconds. Overall rating, Seventy Nine Percent, average ability."
Sweet Star tilted her head as she listened. "How do I preform multiple attacks?" She asked smiling.
"Like you did the single shots, only concentrate on two of the targets." Violet said and Sweet Star nodded smiling.
She focused on two different targets and concentrated, two purple spheres appeared by her before two beams fired off from the spheres into the targets. "Very good master. Now work on doing more then one target at a time." Violet said.
Sweet Star nodded and spent a good hour working on multiple targets flying around she was starting to get better hitting the targets with her spell. She was getting better at flying as well. "Activating moving target system." Violet said and Sweet Star blinked as the targets started to move and avoid her attacks.
Sweet Star adjusted her technique to compensate for the moving targets and after a few misses she started to hit the moving targets a lot easier. By the time she finished her first lesson she could hit up to four targets at once and had a near one hundred percent rating for the first lesson.
She didn't notice her parents telling her bed time, and her body was in a auto pilot trance, got under her covers and told her parents good night.
After she finsihed off the first lesson she woke up slowly yawning softly before drifting back to sleep. "Good night, my master." Violet said softly before going into a standby mode.
Sweet Star woke up early the next morning looking around yawning softly. She slipped out of her bed stretching herself. She felt the weight of Violet hanging round her neck smiling, she made her way to the kitchen got herself a bottle of juice. She went over to the counter and hopped onto a stool and settles herself.
About ten minutes after Sweet Star woke up Sweetie came down stairs. "Well, look who's an early bird today." She said smiling at Star, "How about some toast?"
"Yep! I got woke up early today." Star said smiling at her mom, sipping her juice. "Toast sounds really good. With some apple jam?"
"Sure, apple jam it is." Sweetie said getting some bread and starting to toast it. She used her magic to get out some apple jam setting it on the counter with a spoon. She turned the toast over to toast the other side as well. Once it was ready she floated it over to Sweet Star once it was ready.
Sweet Star smiled and put some apple jam on the toast once it was placed in front of her. Star considered for a few minutes before speaking up. "Mama you ever hear of an intelligent device?" She asked before taking a bite of her toast.
Sweetie tilted her head faintly. "Intelligent device? Hmmm, no I can't say that I have." She said getting herself some toast as well. "Why do you ask?"
Star thought for a few moments thinking about what to say. "I found this round gem thing... like a marble." She said pointing at Violet with her hoof. "It said it's name is Violet Heart and that it's an intelligent device."
Sweetie just stared at Star for a moment before putting a hoof on her forehead. "Your not sick are you?" Sweetie asked and Star flailed her forehooves abit trying to move Sweetie's hoof off her forehead.
"I'm not sick or anything like that. It's true, isn't it Violet?" Star said looking at the gem hanging from her neck.
"Affirmative master," Violet simply replied to the question.
Sweetie just took a step back and stared at Star and the gem around her neck. "Nice... to meet you Violet?" Sweetie said shaking her head before smiling at her. "Just be careful with it Star." Sweetie was a little concerned about it, but it seemed harmless enough.
"Yes mama, I will." She said finishing her toast and drinking her juice. "Think I can go play with Cinnamon today?"
Sweetie thinks for a few moments tilting her head. "Hmmm maybe though Apple Bloom is still upset so might be best to stay home today."
Star nods at Sweetie pouting, "Yea I guess so, she was pretty mad yesterday." Star said getting off her stool. "Maybe I'll play with Violet today."
Sweetie tilted her head faintly. "Mmm... alright Star, just stay out of trouble."
Star smiled at Sweetie nodding. "Of course mama Sweetie. I will stay out of trouble." She said making her way to her room. If she couldn't hang out Cinnamon, she would try to learn more from Violet.
She jumped onto the bed and settled herself comfortably on it. "Can we start lesson to?" She asked closing her eyes, the training world forming around her. She was standing in the same large open field, but there wasn't any targets.
"Of course master. Setup, Training Simulation Two." Violet said, the landscape changed drastically, Sweet Star was standing on a small platform in the middle of the ocean, floating off in the distance was a target. She could just barely make it out from where she was standing.
"What is all this?" Star asked looking around careful not to fall off the platform. "Am I suppose to swim or something?'
"Negative master, this is long range practice." Violet said and Star nodded slowly.
"Oh I see, alright then." She said narrowing her eyes at the target trying to see it. "That's so far away, I can barely see it." She pointed her horn towards the target. "Shoot!"
"Mana Spear," Violet said as the purple bolt of magic came off her horn. But it dissipated before reaching the target.
"It's to far away." She sighed and tilted her head. "Can I fly closer?"
"Negative master, use a new spell." Violet said.
She blinked lightly, "New spell...." She closed her eyes and thought about a new spell. A spell coming to mind. "Shooting Mode please."
"Affirmative master." Violet said and a metal frame formed around Violet.
Violet was in the center of the frame, with four rails coming off the front. A saddle harness appeared on Sweet Star and the frame attached itself to the harness by a pole. It looked like a spear, two ports came off the side, they raised up and released a burst of steam before closing again.
"Raging Fire!" Star yelled and a magic circle appeared under her hooves as a ball of magic appeared near the tip of the of the spear. She gave the ball a moment to charge before shouting. "Shoot!"
The ball of energy exploded toward the target nearly, the force nearly pushing Star off the platform into the water. The stream of energy smashing into the target before dissipating into a thin string of energy before disappearing all together. The ports raising up and another hiss of steam coming off it. "Nice shoot master."
"Yay I hit it!" She grinned and smiled, "Thank you Violet. I'm ready for more." She said giggling a bit.
"Affirmative, master." Half a dozen targets appeared all around them at the same distance away as the first target. The targets started to move at a slow pace.
Star tilted her head at the moving targets turning around slowly to look at the different targets before focusing on one of them. She started to practice on hitting the slow moving targets it took her. It took her a little while to hit the targets, but eventually she got the hang of it.
"Master, your mother is coming." Violet said before they started the more advanced practice.
"Okay Violet." Star said before opening her eyes letting the practice world fade away. She jumped off the bed as Starbloom came into the room. "Hi mama Starbloom."
"Hello Star, Sweetie said you had a talking gem?" Starbloom asked looking at Star and the marble. "Named Violet?"
"Yes mama, she's really nice." Star said smiling looking at the gem then at Starbloom. "Isn't that right Violet?"
"Affirmative master." Violet said.
"Very interesting Sweet Star," Starbloom said as she lowered herself down to look at the gem more closely. "Sweetie said you find it in a cave in the Everfree forest as well. It doesn't appear to be dangerous."
"Yes mama, I did. Violet isn't dangerous, she's very nice." Star said watching her mother look the gem over.
"Violet, were do you come from?" Starbloom asked talking to the gem.
"Mid-Childa, administrated world one of the Time-Space Administration Bureau." Violet replied to the question.
Starbloom tilted her head faintly as she listened. Sweet Star blinked as well wiggling her ears. "Time-Space Administration Bureau?" Starbloom asked as she looked at the little marble.
"The Time-Space Administration Bureau, TSAB for short, is an interdimensional security force formed jointly by a union of several worlds. It also monitors the growth of cultural on a number of worlds." Violet replied to the question.
Starbloom nodded lightly as she listens. Sweet Star sat down looked up at Starbloom. "Is Equestria one of the monitored worlds?" She asked curious about that part.
"Negative, Equestria non-administrated world seven thousand, eight hundred and forty five is not one of the monitored worlds of the TSAB." Violet replied.
Starbloom nodded softly, feeling a little relieved that Equestria wasn't being watched by some unknown group. She considered for a moment and thought about asking another question but noticed Sweet Star was getting bored from all the talk.
"Well, thank you for the talk Violet. Sweet Star, I talked with Apple Bloom and she said, if you two stay out of trouble you can go visit Cinnamon, but no more visiting the Everfree Forest." Starbloom said getting back to her hooves.
Sweet Star grinned big and bounced a bit. "Thank you mama Starbloom, I promise no more going into the Everfree Forest." Star said smiling even more before galloping out of the room and starting down stairs.
"Hang on Sweet Star!" She heard Sweetie call. "Lunch first so come and eat."
"Okay mama." Star said heading to the kitchen and jumps into seat smiling. "What are we having?"
Starbloom came down and joined Sweet Star at the counter as Sweetie looked over smiling. "Nothing to fancy, just salads and bread." Sweetie said setting plates of salad, bread and as well as cups of tea.
Lunch went by quick, and after Sweet Star headed out to find her friend Cinnamon. She made her way through town looking around smiling before heading down the road leading to Sweet Apple Acres' East Field where Cinnamon lived.
