It's about a homless colt that helped princess luna. After saving her, he was rewarded by being able to live in the castle and was declared the Eclipcs Prince. But after 1000 years passed being locked in a dungeon he has to get use to new age.
Nick Eclip was born a Pegasus, but after the death of his parents, he runs around Canterlot trying to make it from day-to-day. After he saves a little girl from some bullies, he finds out that the girl is Princess Luna. He returns her to the castle and walks away without the reward of finding her. It is at this point that he is taken under the wings of the royal family and is seen as there son. After some time passes, we find Nick a strong young stallion and he dose not know why Luna is acting mean. He is taken to a dungeon by order of Celestia. When he is released, he finds that the world he loved had come and gone. Now he must get use to this new age and find away through life. There are some scenes that are very funny and some lovey scenes, but a great series to come none the less. Enjoy.
In the beginning there were the two royal sisters, but did you know there was a brother. Here is his story of love, adventure, a lot of apples, a blue box, and a crazed mind.
Now our little Nick was not always a prince, in fact he wasn't even an a alicorn. Nick was a grey Pegasus with a mom and dad and lived in a town abit away from Filly Delphia. But that all changed and set him on his way to prince hood. He was walking home from school when he notice people swarming around his house. He heard whispers of death and suicide. Who did this happen to thought Nick as he walked through the crowd. Then he saw the most twisted sight he has and ever will see. He just knew one thing his parents are dead and there killer killed himself. Then his land lady saw him and trotted over to him, "It's okay. I'm here for you Nick." Nick turned away from the scene and saw two stallions near a blue box. One was brown with a sand-timer for a cutie mark, the other one was white with a red mane. Nick tried to see the cutie mark but then the police ponies started to try to talk to him. He turned and ran.
Now lets fast-forward about a year. Now he was roaming around Canterlot and was as happy as could be. That was until that day. He was walking up mane street when he saw a little filly getting bullied by two colts. The filly was a sunset blue and looked like an angle, and the two colts were unicorns. Nick wondered why the colts were picking on her. He walked up and asked them.
'Oh look, someone trying to be a hero." said one of the colts as they pushed Nick away. "We want your money. Or it's good bye world" said the other unicorn started to charge at her. Then Nick did what he though was best: Push the girl out of the way. Then something in Nicks head snapped, like he knew what would happen next. He turned around to the filly, "You okay?" he asked. "Just a little shocked that's all." she said as she stood up. "That's good." said Nick as he clothes lined the unicorns as they tried to run after them. "Now where do you live?" asked Nick as they started to walk away.
"You live at the castle?" asked Nick in bewilderment. He had never seen anything this wonderful in his life. At the gate, there were two royal guards and Princess Celestia. The guards ran to the filly and took her to Celestia, afterwards came back to Nick and chained him on the spot. "Wait? What did I do?" asked Nick as one of the guards started to use there wings as swords, "For kidnapping the princess, the price is punishment is sever injury then life in a cell." read one of the guards. "But I only brought her back." yelled Nick as the guards brought out a lance. Then one word echoed through out the court yard: STOP.
The guards turned and saw Celestia walking to Nick, " Why are you hurting the savior of our princess Luna? He should be rewarded", she unlocked Nick and walked with him," What do you want as a reward?" asked Celestia as she walked with him to the castle. "Well, nothing really. I saw someone needed help and helped, I don't need a reward." said Nick as he brushed off her wing and walked to the door. "How about a home with a family" she stopped him "little brother?" there was a pause in the room, "A family?" said Nick as he turned to her.
Nick was so excited that he is a prince. He forgave the guards and he got to join the royal guard. Nick felt so happy that there were no words to describe his feelings. Now lets fast forward to the day he got his cutie mark.
It was a dark and windy night, Nick was flying with Luna as she raised the moon. Luna was raising the moon when she saw a little pony running from something. "Nick, do you see that?" asked Luna as she flew down to the pony. "Wait Luna, fine." said Nick as he flew after her.
When they got to the pony she was breathless and was in a cold sweat, "What happened?" asked Luna as she helped calm the pony down. The pointed behind them, "That." she said as a howl echoed behind them. Nick turned around and saw a giant wolf. But this wolf was different, it was made out of wood. The wolf tossed Nick aside as he charged at Luna and the pony. Nick saw this and was enraged at what the wolf did to Luna, Crushed her with his paws. Nick let out a yell that seemed to be heard from Canterlot. His mane turned into a maroon red and his coat turned black. His very presents seemed to chill the air as he charged at the timber wolf. "LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!!" yelled Nick as he went through the wolf. He helped Luna up, "Get Home and send the guards. NOW!" Said Nick as he turned back to the recovered timber wolf.
When the guards got there, all there was, was Nick and a crater of shadow around him. He seemed crazed with the power he had. he tuned and saw the guards and saw there reaction to what he just did. He looked around and then realized that the eldest guard was walking to him. "Sir" said Nick as he saluted the guard. "Son, what you just did is even the elite guards couldn't do. You shall be my apprentice. And you can call me Knight Heart." Nick was in shock at what just happened. "By the way kid, great cutie mark." said Knight Heart as he walk back to the group. Nick looked and saw what he meant :His cutie mark was a lunar eclipses with a crown and sword by it.
When Nick got home, Luna jumped to him and gave him a hug, "I thought you died." said Luna as she kept hugging him. "Luna," Nick pushed her off and got on one knee, "I promise to" "THAT BE A PROPOSAL" yelled Celestia as she ran down the hall to Nick and Luna. "umm. Actually, I was about to swear," "Nick! Why would you swear at Luna?" "CELESTIA!" yelled Nick as he put his hoof on her snout, "Let me speak." He turned to Luna, "Luna, I swear to protect you for as love as my heartbeats." Nick turned away when Luna grabbed Nick, "umm Nick." "What Luna?' asked Nick as he turned around. She leaned forward and kissed Nick. Nick stood there like an idiot while Luna walked away.
Now lets go forward in time again, to the night before Nick's exile. He was walking with Knight Heart in the court yard. "Nick, It's been three years since you've joined the royal family. How's it been?" asked Knight Heart as they kept walking. "It's been rough, but I've lived." then a Mailmare came to Knight Heart. "Nick, we got to go." they flew over the gates and went to the letter's address.
When they got there, the house looked abandoned. "Nick, check the surroundings, I'll look inside." said Knight Heart as they went there ways. Nick was a little bit away when he heard Knight Heart yell in pain. "Knight Heart!" yelled Nick as he ran towards the scream. When Nick got there, Knight Heart was bleeding and a unicorn stood there with a sense of pride as he looked towards Nick. "Oh look, it's a hero. wait...it you. YOU"RE THE REASON THAT I"M AN OUTLAW!" Nick looked at Knight Heart's body, "Oh him. He was so easy to kill. a one hit kill. Now it's you're turn." Nick walked to him, "Yes, it's my turn. NW KILL YOU!!!" yeled Nick as he charged at the unicorn. soon shadows were forming shields against the unicorn's magic. Nick's eyes went a pitch black and fangs grew in his mouth. He felt so much power, and he loved it. He felt wonderful as he sent the unicorn flying through trees. then Nick started to lose his mind.
"Nick Eclip, the penalty for what you did is 1500 years in jail." read Celestia as she weep tears of sadness "Any last words?" asked Luna as she opened the door to his cell. "yes. I HOPE YOUR KINGDOM FALLS!" said Nick as he stared at them with his black eye. "Brother, hope you understand why I'm doing this." said Luna as she locked him in the cell.
Nick sat in the darkness as the vast nothing swarms around him. He felt crammed, yet free; Blind, but can see; but he was alone. Alone and only shattered memories. How did I lose these memories? I clearly know it missing, but what? Nick sat and wanted to why he was in there. The last memory he had was Knight Heart on the ground. Maybe he's okay, maybe it was a dream, or a cruel prank. If only I had my memories, thought Nick as he sat in the shadows. After a while he wondered how long he has been in there. A day, month, year, celestia, maybe 1000 years, he couldn't tell. He wished he could know what happened. "Well why didn't you ask." said something from the black shadow. "Who are you?" asked Nick as he reached out to the voice. "I'm you, well the other you. Remember the shadows that seem to lean on you as you traveled away from home? I'm the one shadow that follows everypony and is never noticed. Now to those memories, where to start?" asked the shadows. "What about what happened to Knight Heart?" asked Nick.
"Oh him, he's just a minor character that starts this whole mess as you remember from Chapter 2." "Who are you talking to? And what is Chapter 2?" asked Nick as he walked around the room. "To people behind the forth wall. Wait, spoilers to you. Oh well. Lets see if he gets it, Just our secret, okay? Now Nick, Lets begin our little training sessions. You can use us but you let them control you, lets stop that. It'll cause you to lose your mind if you don't. Lets start our lesson."
After some time passes, Nick sees the light flood into his cell as the, now visible, door opens. There stood Luna and another alicorn. "Here is my friend, trusted guard ,savior, and little brother. Twilight, please protect him and he'll protect you." As Luna walked away, he tried to talk to her, but was stopped. He turned and saw the alicorn was holding him back and stopping him speak. "Well, a magical alicorn. Tell me how was it being a unicorn?" said Nick as he walked to her. "how are you doing that? you shouldn't even be able to whisper, let alone talk. Only a unicorn can even try to stop this spell" said Twilight in shock. "Well I can use the shadows of others and use them to reduce or remove a spell the caster in using. I'm Nick Eclip and I'm your body guard for now till the day my heart stops pumping."
