Who's family do you think Spike's gonna be adopted into?
It's a special event in Equestria where everypony spends the week with their families. Sadly, it's another year Spike cries over the fact that he has no family, so he is very depressed again! Twilight notices the dragon's sadness & comes up with an idea! A competition where the winner gets a new addition to their family! Which one of the main 6 will win? But what's this? Apparently the princesses want him as well? Also, I shipped Spike with Trixie in this story!
Prologue: Prologue! (Lol, I just called the Prologue, Prologue!)
It's now time for all the citizens of Ponyville to get some shut eye, because tomorrow is a special week for everypony. This special week is where everypony spends the week with their family. Twilight had just finished reading a book. She laid the book down & put it back in the correct shelf!
"That book gets more dramatic every time I re-" She was cut off to the sounds of soft sobs, she knew who they came from!
Spike was crying in his bed, for it's going to be another week where he realizes the sad fact that he's an orphan! Back in Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle always wanted to have Spike go with her on this special week, but she was always so nervous, like right now, she really wanted to help calm down Spike, since it really breaks her heart seeing her #1 assistant cry. She saw that now was time for change! So Twilight left the library, she had her friends know of Spike's emotionally painful dilemma! The 6 rendezvoused at Sugarcube Corner to discuss this!
"Alright, now can somepony tell me what ah we doing?" Asked Applejack.
"Applejack, didn't you hear me? I said Spike is crying because it's Family week tomorrow! I want to help him, b-but every chance I get, I just can't find the will tell him to come with me & my family! But I realized, that it would only be a week! He cant just have a week long family! No, he needs a permanent family! Since we're his best friends, I was wondering...
"Wondering what? Spit it out Twi!" Rainbow Dash said, in a cranky tone, since she was pulled out of a deep sleep where she became Equestria's greatest hero!
"I was wondering...if we could have a contest to see who's family would make Spike the happiest!"
All 5 of them looked at Twilight with wide eyes, she was asking them to take Spike into their family! Spike was such a good boy, they enjoy his company & his pure sweet hearted nature, he'd help them anytime, any day, and they would do the same! Like the time they helped him find the perfect mare for him, i.e. Trixie Lulamoon! All 5 nodded at the idea of having Spike as a member of their family!
"So it's settled, we all spend the day with Spike!" said Pinkie Pie.
"And the winner gets to..." Fluttershy was cut-off, as a white mist & a blue mist entered the building, then those 2 mists, materialized into Celestia & Luna!
"Hold on! I want in on this too! I was about to sign some forms making Spike my son, but after hearing about this, me and Luna want him in our family as well! Isn't that right sister?" Celestia said with a very giddy voice.
"Yes, I was told that Tia taught Spike his skills, so why not have him as a part of our family, but then I heard of this & I thought, that Tia must partake!" Luna explained
"So it's settled, winner gets a new addition to their family!' Twilight said.
So now it's gonna be: Twilight Sparkle VS. Applejack Vs. Fluttershy vs. Pinkamena "Pinkie" Diane Pie versus Rainbow Dash vS. Rarity Sesrev (Verses in reverse) Princess Celestia & Princess Luna!
End of Prologue!
Monday: Pinkie,Inkie,Blinkie, Clyde! Let's Chomp Pac-Man Before he Can Hide!
Spike awoke In his bed, but...it wasn't Twilight's room he woke up in! He woke-up in Pinkie's
"Hey there Sleepy head!" said an excited pink mare!
"AH! Pinkie Pie, did you just kidnap me again?"
"Yep yep, and for a really great reason!"
"And that is reason is?"
"Me & the girls along with Celestia & Luna decided to hold a contest to see which one of us will be adopting you!"
"R-really?"
"Yes, you'll be spending the week with all of our families to see who you'd make you the most happy! For today, you'll be spending Monday with my family!"
Spike remembered meeting Pinkie's family before. Inkie pie, Blinkie pie, Clyde pie, and Sue pie. They were the family his girlfriend Trixie was working for! Sadly, that's all he remembered, but if they were related to Pinkie, then hopefully, they must love to party!
"Come-on Gummy, let's go Spike, they're waiting downstairs."
Spike agreed, then followed Pinkie & Gummy down the steps! When they made it down, there they were. Spike just stopped at the 5th step down, he was nervous, he's going to spend some real time with ponies he barely knew!
"Mom, Dad, Sisters, hi!"
"It's great to see you too Pinkamena." replied Sue.
"Hey, is that Spike over there, hey Spike" Clyde said.
Spike only shivered, but Pinkie nuzzled him, calming his nerves.
"Go-on, meet one of your potential families!"
"Will you hold my claw 1st?"
"Of course!"
So Spike walked down the stairs & introduced himself.
"H-hi, I'm Spike the Dragon, #1 as-assistant to P-P-Princess Twilight Sparkle." He was still a little nervous.
"Spike, don't worry about it, were good ponies, we wont bite!" Blinkie pie said, while putting a hoof on Spike's left shoulder, reassuring him.
"Ooh, I would just love to have a cute little guy like you in my family." Inkie Pie said, while looking into Spike's eyes. "Aw, your so cute with your tiny fangs, big eyes, chubby cheeks, and I bet your ticklish too! Pinkie, do you have a quill?"
"Right here!"
She then started tickling the baby dragon.
"N-no ha ha ha ha, w-wai ha ha ha ha ha I can't ha ha take it! ha ha ha!"
"Okay, Inkie, that's enough, let's go & enjoy our day out with Spike." said Sue.
So they left Sugarcube Corner and went out to show Pinkie's family some fun places, DJ Pon3's usual gig, where they were having a rap battle today! It was the Cyclops: Mathew Cykes versus the Kirin: Blackie! It was obvious that Blackie won, as Mathew ran crying! But now they leave that place to go to the Ponyville Park where they bought Spike a balloon and sat down for a nice picnic!
"Oh darn, I got the stuff, but I forgot to pack the food for us! Hold-on!"
Pinkie then jumped into a bush & and jumped back out with a picnic basket.
Meanwhile...
"Hey Boo boo, have you seen that Picnic basket we snagged?"
"Yeah Yogi, a pink pony showed-up & stole it!"
"I thought I told you to stop smoking pot!'
Now back to the pony world. Spike, Inkie, Blinkie, Clyde, and Sue all had the same thought...
"( How does she do that? I swear I'll figure her out one day!)"
"Wow, Spike, you must be a part of the family now, you & the others just thought the exact same thing!"
Again, they wondered how she did that!
"Hey Spike, how's about you sit with us?" Sue & Clyde offered, motioning him to them. Spike was sitting in between Clyde & Sue, enjoying his Sapphires. Until a yellow ball shaped man, grabbed his food!
"Yes, now I'm gonna be RICH, RICH, RICH!"
"Hey, give those back, they belong to the dragon!" Pinkie shouted.
"You're gonna have to catch me 1st! Waka waka waka waka..."
They chased him into a maze where he rendezvoused with a yellow ball shaped woman!
"Now you're gonna have to catch both of us to get these back!"
Then the couple split-up!
Blinkie & Inkie, you go that way! Dad, we'll go this way, Mom Spike and Gummy stay here!
The 4 ran in the maze, hunting down the thieves. Sue hugged Spike because he was crying since the ball man accidentally made him let go of his balloon. Gummy then nuzzled Spike, and he felt happy that they cared about him. Pinkie, Inkie, Blinkie and Clyde returned with his Sapphires then they continued their picnic.
"So what happened with those 2 Pinkie?" Spike asked
"Well, as soon as we caught up to then & touched the, they imploded!"
"Really, instant death, just like that? weird!"
After they finished eating, Spike hopped onto Clyde's back & they went to their final destination: The movie theater!
"The choice is yours kid, which movie would yah like to see?" Pinkie asked.
Spike was excited, he finally got to see this movie he was looking forward to seeing!
"I wanna see Godzilla vs. Destoroyah and.. if it's okay, can we see it in 3D?"
"Of course it's okay, I got the bits for 3D!" Pinkie then got hugged by Spike! "(I am such a good sister!)"
So they saw the movie after a it ended, it was already sunset!
"Aw shucks, guess it's time for you to return to the library kid, well, it was fun spending the day with you, bye-bye!"
Spike walked back to his home Golden Oaks Library, which might not be his home anymore once he chooses a family to be a part of, after that, he just ignored Twilight's laughing with his family, then just went to his bed, which was mysteriously there even though it was in Pinkie's bedroom
"I'll figure her out one day, but now, time to get some sleep!"
Spike yawned & drifted off to sleep wondering who he'll be spending tomorrow with!"
Spike wakes up to find himself in Scootaloo's bedroom! Scootaloo was adopted by Rainbow Dash's mom, so they could really be sisters, but it looks like, they might be taking in another kid since Rainbow Dash never & hates losing! He turned to find that his bed was next to Scootaloo's bed & the little filly was flapping her wings with anticipation to see his possible new brother.
"Good morning maybe brother!"
""Morning maybe sister." He teased.
"Oh I hope we become brother & sister, we have a lot in common, we both just recently started flying, we're both huge fans of Rainbow Dash, and we're both too cool for those lame girly things!" Yeah, Spike learned from Zecora that he can sprout wings at any given moment, he just needed a good reason to fly, like when Trixie was falling to her doom, but Spike quickly rescued his marefriend before she fell into a pit filled with giant timber wolves. Spike smiled at Scootaloo & said...
"Shut-up & hug me maybe sis."
The 2 hugged, then the door opened and Rainbow Dash walked in.
"Aw yeah, guess I win right? If you have me as a sister, then you'd have the raddest most awesomest most bestest sister in all of the universe!"
"You haven't won yet, not until the week is over that I'll tell weather it's you or somepony else's family I want to be a par of."
"Drat, aw well, come-on you 2, my parents & Tank are waiting in the living room."
Spike remembered seeing Rainbow Dash with her parents before, but was to nervous to say hi to them, besides, he had a date with Trixie that day & didn't want to be late, it was the date when they'd make it to 2nd base. Later, Spike made it to the living room. waiting there, was Rainbow Dash's mom: Firefly, her dad: Bifrost, and Tank, Rainbow's pet tortoise. Apparently, the helicopter thing he was wearing allowed Tank to walk on clouds. Spike only looked back & forth from Bifrost to Rainbow Dash.
"Wow, you l-look just like..."
"I know, dad looks just like your truly!"
"..." Spike couldn't talk, he just continued back & forth at them, Bifrost looked like the rule 63 version of Rainbow Dash.
Meanwhile...
Rainbow Blitz sneezes
"Achoo!"
Now back to this world.
"Okay, that's enough! Let's go everypony, we're wasting day light!" Firefly said, as she got up from Rainbow's recliner.
So the 6 left the cloud home to see the Wonderbolts' performance today in Canterlot.
"Who do you think will be there?" Spike asked.
"I bet Surprise will be there, or maybe fleet foot, oh please let Soarin be there!" Rainbow Dash answered. Rainbow Dash, Spitfire, and Lightning Dust are all competing for the love of Soarin. Rainbow Dash has been taking baking lessons Pinkie Pie & Applejack so she can win Soarin's heart with pie, and maybe after he finishes that pie, he can have, her pie, OH!
But anyway, They made it to Canterlot to see the Wonderbolts perform, there were so many spectacular performances, from Blaze's warrior cry dance & Maverick's upward spiraling tornado. There was a teen colt, who was selling snacks to the audience and Rainbow Dash called to him. there were only 5 cotton candies left, but Rainbow didn't mind sharing her snack with Tank. Spike pulled out some rubies he had completely forgotten about, and put them in his cotton candy. Before he ate it, he looked around for any yellow ball shaped people around.
Now was the final performance by Fleet foot, who did her wind song stunt, sadly, even though she was a professional, she botched her stunt after a random bird slammed into her, causing a big wind to blow towards the audience, everyone held onto their seats, well, everyone but Spike, the wind caused him to fall out of his seat & down towards the ground, he was going to sprout his wings, but he was knocked unconscious after slamming into another random bird. Rainbow Dash, with her dazzling speed, ( I still prefer Sonic the Hedgehog, no offence) Sonic Rainboomed her way down & saved Spike! The whole crown cheered, Scootaloo flew to Spike, to see if her possible brother was okay.
a while later... Spike woke-up to see he was in Scootaloo's room again.
"AH! I'm alive? Phew."
"You're awake, I'm so happy!" Scootaloo said, as she hugged Spike.
"Hey kid, don't worry, I saved yah, no need to thank me, just say the word & I'll be glad to call you my new bro!" Rainbow Dash said with a smug face
"Thanks for saving me & all, but I'm not making my decision just yet."
"Thank heavens your okay!" Bifrost & Firefly said, while comforting Spike. Tank flew over & nuzzled him slowly (LOL!). Spike was so happy, Rainbow's parents had just met him, & they're already showing him that they care.
"Well, It's getting late, I better get back to the library, I got a date with Trixie tonight, see yah next week, bye!"
"Bye kid, and remember, no tongue, your too young for that!" Firefly teased.
And with that, Spike flew off back to the library where he prepared for his date.
"Alright Trixie get ready, for I'm gonna go to 3rd base after our night is over!"
Once again our little friend, no, not that one! Woke up in a room that wasn't Twilight's. Then something smacked him & that something, was Angel, who smacked him awake with a novelty plastic mug that Fluttershy bought during the mane 6's trip to Mexipone last summer.
"Why do you hate me?" Spike asked
Angel only shot a raspberry at Spike, & hopped off out of the room Spike was sleeping in, then the door opens to reveal Flutt- wait, what happened to her wings?!
"What the? Fluttershy, what happened to your wings, your beautiful graceful elegant wings?! Don't worry, if it makes you feel better, I'll join y-" He was cut-off as the door opened aga- wait, 2 Fluttershy's?
"WHAT IN CELESTIA'S NAME IS GOING ON HERE?!!!"
The Fluttershy with wings jumped in the air with fear because of Spike's high volume!
"Now, now, child calm yourself & Fluttershy, please come back over here & I'll introduce myself."
"Okay mother." Fluttershy said, as she returned to the room.
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Posey: Fluttershy's mom!"
"Wow, you look like the spitting image of Fluttershy! Well, but without the wings & your cutiemark had flowers on it, not butterflies. Well anyway, thanks for clearing up the confusion, just ignore what I was saying earlier heh, heh!"
"So Fluttershy, do you have anything planned for us?" Posey asked.
"No..." She disappointedly answered.
"That's fine, why don't we just hang out here for the day?"
"That would be an excellent idea, what say you Fluttershy?"
"Well, that would be a good idea! My animal friends are in need of help, for the past 2 days somepony keeps on stealing their food & I'm going to get to the bottom of it! If that's okay with you?"
The 2 agreed to figure out who keeps on stealing their food! So they set out to see who exactly did it! They went to all the animals to see if they saw anything last night! This investigation reminded Spike of the time he cleared Trixie's name when somepony tried framing her for theft! Eventually, the trio decided to give up till they finally found a witness! It was the bear Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash made-up in the episode: "Party of One".
"So your saying a an orange chicken riding on a scooter, while sleeping was stealing everyone's food?" All 3 knew who exactly this was.
Later...
*Knock* *knock*
*door opens*
"Oh, hey there maybe brother, what can I do you for?"
"Scootaloo, can we go in your room?" Spike asked
"Uh, sure!"
So the 3 entered the house, then entered Scootaloo's room, then opened her closet!
"Yep, found it!'
"Hey, what are those things doing my room?"
"Scootaloo, a bear just told Fluttershy that an orange chicken while riding on a scooter, while sleeping, was stealing food from the local animals, & as it turns out, your the one who did it!" Spike explained
"1st of all, I AM NOT A CHICKEN! 2nd of all, darn it, I've been sleep scootering again!"
So Spike, Fluttershy and Posey loaded all the animal's food into a cart, & headed back to the cottage. All the animals cheered that their heroes returned in victory. These animals cheering victoriously reminded Spike of the time him & Trixie had their 1st date at the baseball field. This kiss cam was pointed at them! Spike smiled a bit, but then Agnel smaked him again with a red herring!
"Alright, now that the animals have been fed, let's head back inside everypony." Posey suggested.
So they all went back inside the cottage and had some tea. most of the day was quiet, they all had nothing to do. Soon the silence was broken when Fluttershy asked...
"So, you wanna play some boardgames?"
"Sure, watcha got?" Spike asked
Fluttershy flew to her closet & took all of the board games she had & showed them to Spike & Posey. She had plenty of games that parodied games like Candy Land, Scrabble, Shoots & Ladders, etc. They played for hours & Spike was having a blast, in fact, there was this one game they were playing & the loser had cards blasted right at them. Spike felt happy being with Fluttershy, she was so very kind, a true friend to be around, and maybe she'd make an even better sister. Still, aint making his final choice till the week is over. Later, during the final game, Posey asked...
"So, how was your date with Trixie last night?"
"It was spectacular till Deezutra: Celestia's top general got angry at & had a fight with the manager of the movie theater, about that one guy behind him who was doing very unnecessary things he should've done at his home or something! On the bright side, me & Trixie made it 3rd base!"
"Wow, your doing well for such a young man!" Posey then rubbed his head with her hoof. "Okay, my turn."
Spike loved how Fluttershy & Posey were interested in him, since not a lot of ponies find him interesting even though he's the only dragon resident of Ponyville, he could tell them what he did today, even though it was mostly nothing, & the still wouldn't get bored. After they finished the last game, it was night time!
"Oh, it's getting late, I better go!"
"Actually, Twilight has arranged for you to sleep here for the night."
"Really?"
"Yes, apparently, she's having a sleepover with Applejack & Trixie so your going to have to stay here for the night!"
"Okay!"
Spike then hugged Fluttershy & ran into her room, he then tucked himself into his bed, ready for the next day. Man, where exactly has Trixie been in this story right? She's only been mentioned, not shown!
Spike woke-up in Appleblom's room this time, only this time, he woke-up to this! Applebloom's lips on his lips!
"GAH! Applebloom, I thought I told you already, give-up, what me & Trixie share is the truest of love!" Spike said angrily!
"Don't family members kiss each other sometimes?" Applebloom asked.
"Yeah, but 1.Not on the lips, unless it's like a parent or a spouse and 2.We're not family YET!" He angrily explained.
"YEE-HAW, good morning you 2!" Applejack said, well she actually hollered it! "Ah right, me & Big Mac just made breakfast, now let's go!"
Spike & the Apple sisters made it to the kitchen where Granny Smith, Big Macintosh, & Winona we're waiting.
"Well good morning Spike & Half-pint." Greeted Granny Smith. Applebloom still gets embarrassed whenever Granny used that nickname, even if it's just family.
"Morning Granny Smith!" Spike replied
"Alright Ya'll, after breakfast, get ready for we're heading to the amusement later!"
"YAY!" Spike & Applebloom shouted with some food still in their mouths.
"Kids, swallow your food before cheering!" Applejack said, while sitting down next to Big Mac.
As they were eating, Spike couldn't help but notice that Winona was making bedroom eyes at him!
"(Guess I still smell like a dog after that whole human world adventure!)" Spike thought
I think we'd all like to forget about that movie thank you very much, but at least we now know you get all the bitches literally! Man, if only they could hear what the narrator was saying to them right now! So a while after, they finished breakfast & Spike helped Granny Smith with the dishes. Don't worry, he's much more careful now after the episode: " Spike at Your Service ". A while after breakfast, they left Sweet Apple Acres to the amusement park at the north western side of Ponyville!
"Okay Spike, Applebloom, here's ah bunch-o-bits! Have fun!"
"Thanks A.J.!" the 2 said, before running off into the crowd!
Spike & Applebloom had a wonderful time together! They went on the rollercoaster, they road the Thursday-Go-Round, which is much more fun than the usual Merry-Go-Round, they made funny faces in the photo booth, of course Spike blocked Applebloom, when se wanted to kiss Spike again, they threw darts at balloons, hey wait a minute, that's me at that booth, weird, anyway, they tied in 1st place for laser tag, Spike even won Applebloom a giant stuffed rabbit from that rifle game. So they enjoyed the rest of their day, but that's when they noticed some teenage delinquents vandalizing the popcorn counter.
"Hey, stop that you jerks!" Spike shouted in foolish bravery since he knew who these delinquents were!"
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the dragon who turned his back on his own species, I've been waiting for the moment we'd finally meet! Boiler, Violet Flash, let's kill him & his friend as well!" Garble commanded
They were going to attack, but that's when an orange hoof & a red hoof collided with the big jerk's chest sending him flying!
"Oh daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!" Garble wailed as he flew through the air, he eventually landed, but when he did, he blew up like in SpongeBob!
"Yur next!" Applejack threatened
"Eeyup!" Big Mac agreed!
"N-now, let's not do anything hasty...wait for us Garble dude!" Violet Flash said, as he flew away like a wuss, followed by Boiler!
"Thank you A.J. that's twice you saved me!" Spike said, while hugging Applejack's front leg!
"Don' worry none abou' it, we're family, maybe!"
"Eeyup!"
"Heh, looks like we're out of bits, guess it's time to head back!" Spike pointed out.
"Before yah go Spahk, Ah want to show you kids sumthin'."
So they all exited the amusement park where Winona was waiting for that the exit, Winona tackled, then licked Spike's face, still with the bedroom eyes from earlier!
"Okay Winona, simmer down, I want to show these 2 what ah got planned!" Applejack removed her dog from Spike's personal space & elbowroom so he could get up. "Alright ya'll, don't open yur eyes till I say to okay?"
"Sure!"
They waited in anticipation of what Applejack had for them!
"okay, you can open yur eyes!"
They opened their eyes to see a crystal sculpture of themselves, they were both impressed.
"Wow, you got every detail of me & Applebloom! Thanks, this is a very meaningful gift!"
"Wow sis, It's almost like it's real!" Applebloom stated
"That's because I am real, the crystal sculpture of you is right behind me!" Opal bloom said while a little annoyed. Applebloom then looked at the real crystal sculpture of her & she was still impressed.
"Well, sun's setting, guess I better get back to the library!"
"Ah'll walk yah home Spahk, I had a great time, yur really fun to be with!"
So Spike & Applebloom walked to the Library, Spike thanked Applebloom for the great time they spent together, and then he blocked another kiss. Spike went to the room that had his bed, once again his bed was there even though it was in AB's room. He didn't care, he just excitedly went back to sleep, wondering who'll be next!
"AH! FIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRREEEEE!!!" He shrieked, running out of the room he awoken in, he knew where he was and since he did know the place inside-out he ran to the bathroom, soaked a towel, then ran to where the smoke was coming from, he made it to the kitchen, then...
"Aw-man Spike, you just ruined the surprise, I was going make you breakfast in bed." said an adorable squeaky voice.
"Ah, morning Spike, I trust you've been doing wonderfully with the other families?" Said an elegant beautiful voice.
"Oh, it's just Sweetie Belle & her bad cooking." Spike unintentionally said, yeah, that was suppose to be a thought in his head.
"Hey, my cooking isn't that bad. Right mom & dad?"
"Your wonderful kiddo, your cooking might just be better than mine!"
Spike didn't notice the other 2 ponies sitting on at the kitchen table when he came in.
"Oh, hi Magnum, hi Pearl!'
"Don't call us that." Pearl said.
"Yeah, you might be our son, so for now, call us mom & dad!" Magnum added.
"O-okay let me restart. Morning...m-mom & d-d-dad." Spike was nervous saying that.
"So, I heard that you have a girlfriend, is she cute?" Magnum asked
"Of course, and she's very nice. Twilight is teaching her to become much better with magic."
"Well, we could continue this conversation once we're out on the boat!" Pearl interrupted
"What do you mean boat?" Rarity nervously asked "(Oh please don't...)" Magnum cut-off Rarity's final thought.
"We're going on a fishing trip out on the sea!" Magnum announced.
Spike & Sweetie Belle jumped with excitement, they've never gone fishing before & heard it was very fun...yeah, they heard it was fun, from a bunch of old ponies & ponies from the navy! Rarity went fishing with them plenty of times when she was a filly & didn't enjoy it not one bit! After hearing the announcement, she face hoofed. After breakfast, they left Carousel Boutique. Later, they were at the docks where Magnum rented a high quality boat!
"Alright family, ready?" Magnum asked.
"Ready dear!" Pearl answered.
"READY!" Spike & Sweetie Belle answered.
" *sigh* ready." Rarity answered.
They all got on the boat & off to sea they went. It took an exact 15 minutes for Spike to say...
"I can't believe this, those old guys & navy guys l-" he was interrupted when Magnum's line got something! "H-hey dad, you got a bite!"
"yep, & it's a whopper!" He replied
He reeled it in till he finally jerked it out of the water, what he had caught was a 7-inch long Snapper! Even if Magnum is old, he managed to jerk the fishing pole hard enough (No that isn't what she said!) to make the fish fly into the boat and then, BAM! slammed right into Rarity's face. This was one of the reasons why she hated fishing with her parents, all their catches would slam into her face but she didn't care, just as long as she's spending time with her family.
"Oops, sorry about that Rarity honey, why do fish keep on hitting in the face I wonder."
Spike & Sweetie Belle, but chuckled for a while till Sweetie's line caught something.
"Ooh, my turn!"
"If you can do this, you might get your fishing cutiemark." Spike said
"Your right, fishing cutiemark, come-on!" Sweetie Belle tried to do this. She poured her heart into this! She was passionate about this. She knew somehow by Spike's words that she would get her...
"Oh darn, the line snapped!" Sweetie belle said in defeat. "I guess fishing isn't my special talent either."
She sat their feeling sad, till Spike gave her a reassuring hug.
"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get it! Don't ever quit on your goal till the end. Keep on doing what your doing! One day, you're you'll finally make it too that goal!" Spike reassured her.
Sweetie Belle gave Spike a big hug.
"Thank you Spike, I really hope that you'll be part of our family."
"Don't worry about it."
"Oh, everypony look, I got a bite!" Rarity said.
The family cheered rarity on, she used their cheers to make her stronger, Rarity reeled & reeled, jerked & jerked, and pulled & pulled! Till finally...
"Ah! what's going on?!" Said an aquatic pony with fish scales.
"Woah! A sea pony, quick get the camera, that ought to show Twilight it wasn't the heat of the sun making me crazy when we went to the beach last summer!"
Pearl gave Spike her camera, he took the shot, but the sea pony sunk back into the water.
"Aw-man, she got away!" Spike said in defeat
"Well, Twilight might not believe you, but we certainly do!" This time, it was Sweetie Belle's turn to reassure Spike & he felt better.
"Hey, family look, I got something this time!" Pearl said
"Go, mom go!" Spike & Sweetie cheered.
She jerked her catch out of the water & it was a squid! The squid stuck to Rarity's face! She screamed, she ran around the boat. Magnum grabbed his bat which he used to beat his catch dead earlier & was now going to use it to get the squid off of his eldest daughter's face! As soon as he swung, the squid jumped off and back into the ocean in which the bat knocked Rarity out cold!
"OH-NO! Sorry kiddo!" Magnum said with concern.
"Don't worry, I checked her pulse, she's going to be okay!" Spike said
"Oh thank goodness!"
10 minutes passed and Rarity came to.
"Oh, what happened?" She asked
"It's nothing, don't worry about it." Pearl said
"Okay."
"Man, I still didn't c-" He was cut-off when his line caught something. He reeled it in, but it was powerful, obviously something big!
"Let me help you Spike!" Sweetie Belle offered.
"Thanks!"
These 2 struggled to get it out of the water, they needed the combined strength of the other 3 who soon helped! They all pulled with all their might till they finally got Spike's catch to jump out of the water!
"AH! SHARK!" Sweetie belle screamed!
It was a great white shark! It was agitated & started charging towards the boat!
"Quick, pull up the anchor, I'll get the boat ready!" Magnum commanded
Pearl cranked the anchor up, Rarity only fainted, Spike & Sweetie were frozen in terror, Magnum got the boat to start moving! He put the boat into turbo! The boat was going real fast, but guess what? So was the angry shark! It was a death race, the so shark was so close, till Sweetie Belle came-up with a brilliant Idea, she had Spike face the front of the boat! Than she stomped on his tail with all her might causing Spike to let loose a big flame which acted as a speed boost, helping them escape the great white shark and back to the docks on time for dinner! 10 minutes later again, Rarity came to.
"Wha-what happened? Are we dead?" She asked
"No, we escaped and look, Spike & Pearl got dinner ready!" Magnum answered.
Spike & Pearl made a delish Fish Filet out of the Snapper Magnum caught! I know, the ponies are all suppose to be herbivore's but remember the running of the leaves in the episode: "Fall Weather Friends"? Pinkie said that she eats hotdogs with ketchup! I'm 100% sure a vegetarian wouldn't do that, even tough Pinkie did sing about a pony's diet being strictly vegetarian in the episode: "Over a Barrel"! Oh & why would a pony even be fishing anyway? Remember the episode: "One Bad Apple". Magnum was seen fishing & he was doing it alone, if he was fishing with friends, then I'd believe it was a friendly competition to see who'd catch the biggest fish but it wasn't! Strictly vegetarian my ass G4! Anyway, Spike was about to finish his meal with one more bite, until Opal, purred & did cute things with a cute face. Spike couldn't resist Opal & decided to give her the final bite of his meal, he was full anyway! Spike had a blast, his 1s time fishing was a time he'd never forget! After they all finished eating & cleaned up the mess. Spike left carousel boutique a while after.
"Bye guys, see you next week!"
"Bye Spike!" The 4 said back
Later, he made it to the library, then went to his room, where his bed mysteriously appeared in even though it was in... well, he didn't exactly remember who's room he woke-up in this morning, but nonetheless he tucked himself to sleep, ready for the next day, a very big smile was on his face knowing that it was going to be Twilight Sparkle he was spending time with tomorrow! Gotta admit, the other girls were at a handicap knowing Spike's history with twilight started when he was born! But let's just see what Twilight Sparkle, the princess of Friendship's Magical Bond can do shall we?
"(Twilight...hopefully she doesn't get heartbroken if she loses, but that all depends on her performance today!)" Spike thought.
"Good morning Spike!" Said Twilight Sparkle.
"Morning Twilight!" Spike said back, while having a sunny smile on his face.
Spike has always enjoyed Twilight's company more than anypony else's besides his girlfriend's company. In fact, Twilight was the one who set Spike up with Trixie in the 1st place! Anyway, Twilight was the one who hatched Spike! She made sure he was well nourished, knew right from wrong, she even taught him....the birds & the bees. Anyway, Twilight was about Spike's everything: his caretaker, his teacher, his BFF! Dang, as stated in the previous chapter, the others were at a handicap because of their long history together! That didn't mean Spike was going to choose Twilight right away though!
"Now, let's go! My, or rather, our parents along with our big brother are waiting downstairs!"
"O-okay!" Spike nervously said.
Even though Spike lived in the same home as Twilight, he had little to no interaction with Twilight's mom: Twilight Velvet, Twilight's dad: Nacht Licht (German for night light) and the only interaction with Shining Armor he had was during that bachelor party he threw! Now isn't that just awkward, you live with a bunch of people for years, but never really met them? Well Spike was put into a very bad situation, kinda like that bad outfit your wearing right now Cad Bane!
"Please focus on the story & it's not a bad outfit, it's a badass outfit!" He said.
So Spike walked down the stairs nervously, he looked down at the floor because he thought that Twilight's parents wouldn't like him! once they mad it down, Twilight's parents where patiently standing there while Shining Armor was reading one of the books!
"I'm back with Spike!" Twilight said.
They all looked her direction, and then, turned their heads to Spike. He was as startled as Fluttershy. He hid behind Twilight, who then got behind him & pushed him forward with her head.
"Go-on, introduce yourself, they wont bite!" She whispered.
After, she was done pushing him forward, Spike was right in front of Twilight's family, who all had caring smiles. Spike fake smiled back since he was still scared, till Shining broke the silence.
"Hello my little ring bearer!" Shining Armor said.
"H-hey Shining, h-h-how's C-C-Cadence d-doing?" Spike said, while still barely conscious.
"Spike dear, are you okay?" Asked Velvet.
"Y-yeah I-" he then fainted.
"Was it something we said?" Asked Nacht.
"Oh-no, this is his 1st time actually spending real time with you 3. He's just really nervous, hold-on. I'll wake him up!" Twilight Answered.
Spike woke-up to see that they were all in front of him again! He was about to lose consciousness, but thankfully he didn't! Spike stood up straight, took a few breaths & then introduce himself.
"Hello, I'm Spike!"
"Hi Spike!" Said Velvet.
"Hey there kid!" Said Nacht
"Sup bro!" Said Shining.
Yeah, every guy who meets Spike for the 1st time would later learn how much of a true bro he really is! Without warning, the 3 hugged him, the unknown 5th member of their family! Well, he wasn't part of their family, not yet!
"Alright everpony & dragon, after breakfast, we gotta go to the Crystal Empire, there's a special event taking place their that only families can do!"
So after breakfast, they went to the Ponyville Train station & departed for the Crystal Empire! while on the train, a pony was being harassed.
"Get your hooves off of Trixie!"
"Sorry, but your very sexy & no-one ever tries to stop ponies from doing stuff like this, because it's between someponies that they don't know! So I guess your done for!"
"HEY!!!" Spike shouted, after noticing what was going on! "Leave my girlfriend alone!"
"Spike!" Trixie said with joy!
"You wanna fight me kid? Bring it!"
"Oh, not me, Twilight, Shining?"
They then made it in between Spike & the pony that was harassing Trixie.
"Hello, I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship's magical bond!"
"And I'm Prince Shining Armor, the prince of the Crystal Empire!"
"Do I look like I give a damn?" the harasser asked
"Well you should, these 2 are royalty, and royals can arrest, banish, or execute anypony they want!" Spike asked
"He's right! I'm also Celestia's #1 student, so I'm just as good as her with magic, meaning I can teleport you away to anywhere! Even into orc territory!" Twilight added
"Woah, woah, woah, let's not do anything drastic here!" the harasser said
"Too late for that!" Shining said!
"What's you name sir?" Twilight asked.
"I'm Plow Force!"
"Well, Plow Force, I hereby banish you to the Chimera kingdom!"
Then a purple aura was all around Plow Force, then he vanished in sparkling lights! Trixie then got up from her seat & ran over to them!
"Kiss me Trixie's savior!"
She then grabbed Spike & kissed him many times, but guess what? So did Spike!
"Thank you all for saving..."
"(Here we go!)" Spike & Twilight thought.
"THEY GREAT & POWERF-" She was cut off as she fell on the floor when the train stopped. "Ugh!"
"You okay my sweet?" Spike asked, while helping her up.
"I'm always okay when I'm with you my darling." She replied in a soft voice. Then, they kissed.
"Aww!" Twilight & Shining said, then Nacht & Velvet joined in & Aww'd as well.
All 6 got off the train then Nacht asked...
"So, your my boy's special somepony?"
"Yep, and we've been together ever since that day I was accepted into Twilight's circle of friends!"
She then told them the tale of how Spike & Trixie became a couple with the help of the Mane 6, The CMC, and a random magical talking lion named Nick Strike! After that, they made it to the center Crystal Empire, the Crystal Empire Castle. Princess Cadence was unavailable since she was spending time with her family: Celestia, Luna, and sadly, Blueblood! That's why she isn't with Twilight's family.
"So, what's this special family only event?" Spike asked. Then a pillar of light hit them! Spike, along with Twilight's family had vanished after the pillar of light disappeared!
"Where in Equestria did they go Trixie wonders!"
"WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Spike excitedly shouted!
They were all flying through space & at great speed to! They flew past meteors that were heading for Mars! They loop-de-looped around Jupiter's moons! They flew past a big & suspicious looking cluster of crystals! But that would be for another story later on! They swung around Saturn's rings & flew back towards earth! Spike was flying around Twilight, Velvet, Nacht, Shining! They were all having a great time! Especially Spike! They all made it back to the Crystal Empire in a another pillar of light.
"Thank goodness you finally returned, so while you were all gone! Trixie took the liberty of buying snacks for all of you!" Trixie said from behind, who was carrying a-lot of snacks. After snack time, they all took the train home. Ha I couldn't resist but say this! Spike & Trixie sitting in a train K-I-S-S-I-N-G! 1st comes love, then come marriage (Foreshadow of the epilogue), then comes a little baby in a baby carriage! I just couldn't resist!
"So Spike, had a great time in the Crystal Empire?" Asked Velvet.
"You bet!" he answered, then went back to kissing Trixie!
When the train stopped, Trixie fell down on top of Spike! They blushed harshly because the ponies & one goblin were all going "AWW!"
"I had a great time with all you today! I'll be seeing all of you later! Especially you my love!"
"Bye honey!"
They then had a goodbye kiss! Later, well you know the rest, Spike went to bed & then blah, blah, blah, he couldn't wait for what's going to happed next! Even though the day he spent with Twilight was amazing, he wondered what Celestia had planned.
Meanwhile...
"Now's our turn sister!"

Sunday: Fun in the Sunlight & Dancing in the Moonlight
Spike woke-up in the most luxurious of luxurious rooms to ever be luxurious. He also woke-up to breakfast in bed. After breakfast, he left his awesome room & met up with The princesses of the sun, moon & love! Blueblood wasn't there because he couldn't get over his high school crush rejecting his offer for marriage! So, he just sat in his room, eating tubs of ice cream, not wanting to go outside! Celestia tried to convince him to leave, but he was as stubborn as Dan from "Dan vs." Eventually, she gave up & just left him alone.
"(That boy!)" She thought looking quite irritated. Her irritation from earlier went to glee after seeing the one she raised.
"So, where are we going today sister?" Luna asked
"Get your swimsuits ready, because we're all going to the beach!" Celestia answered.
Luna was humiliated the last time she went to the beach! Stallions & Teenage colts kept on going "woo!" & whistling at her because they really liked seeing her in swimwear, it made her really sexy! She had so much embarrassment that she had her aids beat down all of them, even the lifeguard! At least this time, she isn't going there alone. Cadence remembered the last time she went to the beach, it was during a romantic honey moon with Shining Armor at their beach house. Celestia remembered the last time she went to the beach, she spent her time with a suitor that ended in disaster! She banished the suitor because he only wanted Celestia for perverted pics he could show to his friends. Spike remembered the last time he went to the beach, he was assisting Twilight with her studies on aquatic life, he looked out to sea & saw a sea pony! He told Twilight, but the seapony was gone when Twilight turned her head! she thought Spike was just imagining things & went back to her studies.
"Who'll be in charge while we're away?" Luna asked.
"Don't worry, I have someone I think is capable of watching everything while we're away!" Celestia answered. "Discord!"
"Yes your highness?" Discord asked after appearing out of nowhere!
"You're in charge of Canterlot till we get back. DON'T YOU DARE TRY ANYTHING CHAOTIC WHEN WE'RE GONE!!!" she threatened. Man, her yell was so loud it could've made every last human on earth cry & pee themselves.
"R-roger dodger!" Discord said, while he saluted.
Later as they were waiting for the train...
"Sorry you had to see your mommy like that, can't be to trusting, lenient and careful with those kind of characters." said Cadence.
"It's alright, I've seen someone face that kind of pain before!" Spike replied.
"Really? Who?"
"Well... *flashback* back when Trixie 1st moved to Ponyville, they all refused to give her a 3rd chance. I couldn't blame 'em though. She almost ruined the peaceful home twice! The 1st time was when her lie brought an ursa minor into Ponyville. The 2nd time was her hostile takeover with the power of the Alicorn Amulet! But watching her suffer in a village that hates her, was something me & my friends wouldn't take, not if we could help it! So we all helped all the citizens of Ponyville see that she has turned over a new leaf! We all had speeches but mine was the one to finally have everyone give their trust to Trixie. All my friends gave me congratulations that day and Twilight told me I was a step closer to becoming a true man! Trixie even called me her hero!"
"Wow, 1st you save the Crystal Empire, then you save the Element of Harmony, now this? You might lose your sidekick rank & go to hero if you keep on saving others kid!" Cadence praised.
Spike rubbed the back of his head in pride, then the train arrived. A while later after they got off the train...
"Spike, wanna go surfing?" Cadence asked.
"Sorry, but I think the shark I hooked from Friday Is still searching for me!" Spike said.
"Okay!"
"Spike, care to join me in the sand castle building contest?" Luna asked
"Sure!" he answered.
Spike & Luna got 2nd place for their replica of Canterlot Castle. They were defeated by Twilight & Shining Armor's sand castle of a more realistic looking replica of the Crystal Empire Castle! H-hey, the referee, is that me? No way!
Later...
"Spike, would you please rub sunscreen on my back?" Celestia asked.
Spike agreed & as he rubbed the sunscreen & all the stallions & teenage colts could only say in their heads "lucky bastard!" Spike looked out & saw another seapony, only to see it be pulled back down by a tentacle! Spike screamed, that's when multiple tentacles starting coming out of the water, a horrific sea monster was emerging from the deep! It was a Kraken! Everyone on the beach saw the Kraken & started panicking, running, screaming, and there were 2 nerdy ponies who were beating each other up saying it was them who awoke the Kraken with their sea creature communication device! Cadence was grabbed by the monster, but she escaped it's grip with a magical burst! Celestia & Luna fired magical blasts that swirled together into an even powerful blast, knocking the creature over, but wasn't enough to defat it! The Kraken grabbed Spike & was about to tentacle punch him, till Spike shot a beam of fire at it's eye! The Kraken let go & was in a-lot of pain in the eye! Spike sprouted his wings & flew back to land! The Kraken was furious now it grabbed all 4 of them, it was squeezing them all hard so they couldn't focus their attacks! It seemed bleak for everypony, but the Shark from Thursday arrived just in the nick of time to save them all! The shark bit all the tentacles off & then started tearing the Kraken to shreds! If anyone was going to kill Spike it would be him! But for now, the shark would let him leave with his life! Later the sun was setting!
"Aw, guess the days over!" Spike said.
"Nope, we're heading to the dance floor tonight, there's a competition going on in Ponyville & we hurry, we will surely be all dressed up in our dance shoes for this!" Luna said.
Later, after they went form swimwear to dance uniforms, they dance till their hearts content & the winner was then this time, beating Applejack & her family!
"Alright, I had a great time with all of you, So I'll just being going now, so I can sleep on my final answer tomorrow!" Spike said, as he headed off to the library while waving to the princesses who waved back.
Later, as he slept, he wondered how everypony could win, because he didn't want to break any of their hearts, they were all so caring to let them be a part of their family. He was crying tears of joy for all of their sensitive care for him, but now he knew the answer. The really sappy answer!
Spike woke-up, ready for his answer to who's family he wants to be a part of! He noticed that he was all one in the library, but then he found a note lying on his bed. He grabbed the note on both sides & read it:
Dear Spike:
All of us will be in Sugarcube Corner so you can decide on who's family you'd like to be a part of.
Signed: all 6 of us.
P.S. :We love you kid!
Spike left The Golden Oaks Library & walked down Ponyville with great bravery in his heart! Then a blue unicorn mare in a magician outfit walked over & greeted him!
"Morning my love!"
"Morning Trixie!"
"My, you look very courageous, what's gotten into you? You've figured out who'll be your family?" She asked
"Yep, & it'll ensure that all of them will win!"
"I hope your right. You look very hot when your showing your courage you know."
"Aw thanks!"
The couple made it to Sugercube Corner after. Spike's courage suddenly started to go away & become replaced by fear, he was shaking a fiercely as the a person's stomach after eating a burrito! Trixie calmed Spike's nerves and then kissed. He opened the door and there they all were. All of them smiled with delight to see Spike.
"Morning everypony."
"Morning Spike." responded all of them.
Spike took a deep breath and said what he wanted to say.
"Look, all of you look like great families, but how can I choose just one of you? Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow, don't you 3 remember what I said back during the great dragon migration?"
They all nodded their heads.
"Yep, I said that all of you are my family, that's what I think of everypony here. I love you all but I can't decide because it'll just break the hearts of a bunch of others! Thank you for doing what you did for me but I just can't." He explained.
Princess Celestia huddled with the other parents then broke apart.
"I thought you wouldn't be able to choose between us Spike, so I took the liberty of having you become a part of everypony's family!" She said, as she levitated an adoption form for all the parents to sign. Yep, that's weird, don't question it though, it's an everybody wins ending!
Spike's smile couldn't have been any bigger that day as he figured out that he could be part all of their families. Spike ran to hug 'em all! Scootaloo nuzzled him, Sweetie Belle hugged him back, and Applebloom kissed his cheek, receiving a death glare by Trixie! Man, I wonder how this'll all work out. Meh, I wont worry about! The mane 6 looked at each other, they knew the Elements of Harmony connected them as life long friends. But this kid, who was born when they all received their cutiemarks connected them as family!
Years later...
"I do!" said a purple drake & a blue mare.
"Then by the power invested in me as Princess of errors, I now Pronounce you 2 mare & drake!" said princess Erroria.
as they exited the building all the families were their.
"Congratulations Spike & Trixie." Said Twilight Sparkle. "Spike, can we talk to Trixie alone please?"
"Uh, is that okay with you babe?" Spike asked.
"Why yes, Trixie would love to spend some time with her new in-laws." she answered. So Spike left & when he was out of sight...
"Why did all of your eyes suddenly become red?" Trixie asked
"Don't ever break his heart or we'll kill you!" said all of them.
"Trixie will never do that! Cross my heart & hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye!" Trixie made sure to close her eyes when putting her hoof in it!
"Okay, we trust you for now!" Twilight said, as she hugged Trixie.
