Apple Bloom and her Friends must escape from a cliche mansion filled with monsters.
After losing contact with the Celestia (Bravo) and Cadence (charlie) teams; the Luna(Alpha) team lead by Apple Bloom is sent in to investigate.
Will Apple Bloom be able to find her friends? Will they manage to figure out just what is going on in the Everfree Forest? Will there be a giant Mansion? Will they be attacked by Zombies,mutants and B.O.W.s? Will this be on the test?

*Just so you know all the ponies are adult age and yes there will be quite a few deaths.*
Officer Derpy Hooves strolled through the Everfree Forest without a care in the world. Sure there had been several reports from hikers, cultists and even a juggling bear about strange creatures being seen in the Forest, but thats exactly what she was there to investigate. The Grey pegasus never questioned why the Chief of Police had sent her in alone, instead of sending an entire team; She merely took it as an honor to be given such an important task.Of course that didn't mean the dark and creepy forest wasn't getting to her.
Derpy grimaced as she walked silently through the forest; at any moment she expected some monster jump out at her but luckly for her nothing happened. Then suddenly she heard the sound of tree branches snapping behind her. Derpy turned,her pistol already in hoof and she fired....hitting a small white rabbit right between the eyes. Derpy let out a sigh of relief, but it was cut short as she heard the sound of more snapping branches. Derpy turned sharply to the left finding a second rabbit (who was of course mourning over the first one.). Derpy turned to the right; finding nothing more then a dead pony sprawled out on the ground. Derpy then spun completely around and found nothing; The pegasus sighed,shrugged her shoulders and continued forward.
Derpy continued on her merry way; the forest may have been creepy but it was still a beautiful night out and she, despite everything, was actually enjoying herself. Just as the Pegasus was about to hum a song about muffins; something at the corner of her eye caught her attention. Derpy turned her head slowly; her eyes widened as an off green pony staggered towards her. Derpy turned to the pony; his coat was puke green, his eyes were pale and cloudy, his lips were stained with blood and it looked as though one of his forelegs was missing. Derpy hesitated for only a moment; before a smile crept across her face.
"Finally." Derpy thought as she wiped the sweat that was forming from her brow. "Hopefully This pony has some information about whats going on around here."
The off green pony continued at a brisk pace, but even this was too slow for the pegasus; she had places to be, muffins to eat and didn't have time to waste on some slow pony. So Derpy (despite what any rational pers-I mean pony would do in a situation like this.) began sprinting forward; towards the pony.
"Excuse me sir." Derpy shouted as her pace increased. "I have a few questions I'd like to ask you.I'd really appreciate any help you can give me."

" Sir...I just have a few things I like to ask you!" The staggering pony began to moan as Derpy drew closer. "Have you seen anything out of the ordinary; I'm an officer you see and I'm leading an investigation about a few disappearances...and I-" Derpy tilted her head slowly. "Ah...Sir..."Derpy said with a grimace. "You seem to be hurt...do you need medical hel-"
Derpy gasped as her hoof collided with a tree stump, she didn't even have time to brace herself as she tumbled across the grassy floor. At the last second, right before the pegasus could stop herself; she watched in horror as her pistol flew from her pouch.
*Bang*
Derpy stood up quickly; her hooves shot out and involuntarily began checking for a bullet wound. When she was satisfied that she hadn't been hit; her hooves fell back to the ground.
"Oh thank God." Derpy said a smile. "That could have ended badl-."
Derpy trailed off as her eyes drifted back to the off green pony; who for some reason had stopped moving.
"Um...sir..." Derpy said slowly. "Are you..." Before Derpy could finsh a trail of blood began dripping down the pony's face from a small hole just above the pony's forehead.
"Sir?" Derpy said weakly.
The three-legged pony's eyes rolled back into his head; he staggered a bit the collapsed to the ground.
"Oh no!" Derpy said quickly as she sped over to the downed pony. "Not again!" Derpy screamed. "Oh God not again!!!"
Derpy lowered her hoof to the pony's throat, but almost immediately pulled it back.
'No...pulse..." Derpy's face went pale. "No!" Derpy thought as she shook her head."I can still save him!"
Derpy dropped to the ground ; opened her mouth and began performing CPR
"Live Damn you!" Derpy snarled as she began pounding on the pony's chest. "Live!!!"
After several minutes Derpy sighed and fell to the ground in defeat.
"What do I do now..." Derpy thought slowly. "What am I going to say...."
Derpy put a hoof to her chin. "I can say he came at me with a knife...but...would they believe me?"
Derpy sighed, shook her head then stood up. "Ah darnit." Derpy said as she bit her lip and turned back to the pony. "Sorry buddy but...I'm not going back to jail."
Derpy grabbed the green pony by his head and began dragging him. After a few feet she stopped, dropped the pony to the ground and began digging a hole. Several hours of digging later; Derpy climbed out of the hole and made her way back to the pony. She grabbed him by the head again and pulled him to the hole; Derpy struggled; her strength was slowly giving out (why she had dug the hole on a hill no one will ever know.) Derpy grit her teeth; she pulled forward then suddenly she heard a *poppng* sound. The pegasus mare stood there for a few second attempting to figure out where sound had originated from. That was until her eyes drift downward only to see the pony's body rolling back down the hill. Derpy blinked a few times then look at the object that was still locked in her forelegs.
"Whad'ya know..." Derpy Said with a grimace." His head fell off..."
Derpy stared at the head in her forelegs for a minute. Her face grew paler and paler than in one swift motion the pegasus screamed and throw the head into the air. Derpy fell forward rolling down the hill and landing on top of the headless pony. Derpy took in several heavy breaths; steadied herself then continued her trek back up the hill with the body.

Several trips later(A few more limbs fell off before Derpy finally made to the top of the hill.)
Derpy stood over the hole; she turned her head and pushed the last few pieces into it.
"Finally." Derpy said with a sigh."glad thats over."
Derpy clapped her hooves together then climbed back down the hill. The Pegasus closed her eyes, took in a deep breath then took a step forward. As soon as her hoof touched the ground; the bushes in front of her began to stir. Several large dogs leapt from the bushes, they had large patches of fur missing from their bodies and a few of them were missing ears. Derpy took a few steps backwards only to hear the sound of snarls and growls from the bushes behind her;Before Derpy knew it, she was surrounded.
Derpy narrowed her eyes as the dogs slowly closed in on her.
"Ah...Shit!!!!" Derpy screamed but her voice was quickly drowned out by the howls of a creature far larger then any of the dogs.
Derpy's eyes darted to the source of the noice and actually managed to get a glimpse of the beast before being swarmed by the dogs.
"Ok..." Police Chief mare said as she took in a deep breath. "You all know why you are here today am I correct?"
"Um...well..." The blue stallion known as Noteworthy said slowly as he turned to the other five ponies sitting beside and behind him. "...No...not really..."
"What?!!" The chief said in an alarmed tone.
"Yeah...nopony said anything to me ." Rumble, the light grey pegasus said with a frown. "I just thought somepony was being promoted or something."
"Clearly this little meeting was well thought out..." The pinto pony Pipsqueak placed a hoof to his face. "...since not single bloody one of us has any idea why we're here."
"Wait..."Truffle Shuffle the light grey(slightly plump) pony said slowly. "I thought this was a surprise birthday party...for me."Truffle reach up and took a small party hat from his head as the six other ponies stared at him. "You guys...did remember my birthday...right?"
The six ponies shifted their eyes away as they tried their best not to make eye contact with the pudgy pony. "Oh...."Truffle said sadly as he dropped his head downward.
"Any...way..." Apple Bloom, the yellow coated, scarlet maned mare with a bow in her hair, said from the back of the room.
"Blossomforth..." The chief said in a hurt tone. "Why in Equestria didn't you relay the message I gave you to the others?"
"Waz that!" Blossomforth said quickly before yawning. "I'm sorry...whaddya say." The Pegasus mare stretched her forelegs out then began to scratch at her side. "I'm sorry miss I..."Blossomforth paused to yawn again before rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "...must've dozed off there."
"Blossomforth..." The chief said with a sigh. "You were suppose to give them that message...remember?"
"What was that Ma'am...?" The pegasus mare asked slowly.
"The message...Blossomforth..." The Chief said as she rubbed her temple.
"Message?" Blossomforth said as she place a hoof to her forehead. "Mess...age?"The mare said slowly to herself as if she was pondering what Chief was talking about.
"The message Blossomforth!!" The chief snarled. "Remember the one I gave you to give the others!"
"Oh no..." Blossomforth's eyes lit up. "I'm sorry miss..."The pegasus lowered her head slowly. "I was drinking all night with my friends...and I guess..." Blossomforth placed a hoof behind her head and chuckled nervously. "I might've forgotten..."
"That's ok Blossomforth..." The chief said with an annoyed sigh. "I'll just know next time not to trust you with any sort of important information."
"Thanks..." Blossomforth replied with a grimace. "...I think..."
"So what did you call us in for miss?" Rumble asked.
"Yes well...." The chief said as she cleared her throat. "Thanks to a certain pegasus..." The chief said as she glared at Blossomforth who smiled nervously as she sank into her chair. "...You won't have as much time to prepare for this but I'm afraid there's nothing I can do abou that..."
The chief took in a deep breath as she moved around her desk, (Yeah there in an office in the police station...where did you think they were? The moon?)
"As you all know...." The chief started. " ...Officer Derpy Hooves went missing a few nights ago..." she turned to the side and began pacing." We've been getting reports of strange..." She paused. "...well...things being seen in the Everfree Forest and we decided to send in Officer Hooves to lead the investigation and well...we haven't heard from her since..."
"And she was sent in alone because...." Pip said slowly.
"Since Officer Hooves disappearance..." The Chief continued (Completely ignoring Pip...). "More reports have been coming in...and there have been a few more disappearances as well..." The chief trailed off as she stopped in her tracks to turn to the ponies. "This morning Captain Dinky Hooves of the Celestia team; volunteered to lead her team in the investigation of these disappearances...but..." The chief sighed as she lowered her head. "...I'm afraid we lost contact with the team shortly into the investigation..."
Apple bloom nodded to herself slowly. "It's not like Dinky to rush into danger like that...but I guess she couldn't help it..." Apple Bloom thought with a sigh. "...her mother goin' missin' and all...she must be worried sick...I just hope there ok."
"Is that our mission then?"Rumble asked; pulling Apple Bloom away from her thoughts. "Are we being sent in to discover the whereabouts of Team Celestia and the missing Officer?"
"No..." The chief said as she turned and began pacing again. "No...I sent in Team Cadence to investigate that..."
Apple Bloom's eyes lit up upon hearing 'Team Cadence'. "Scootaloo...Sweetie Belle." Apple Bloom whispered to herself.
"Then..." Rumble said with a frown as he turned to the other ponies. "...why are we...."
"I'm afraid Team Cadence has gone missing as well..." The Chief said slowly.
"Then..." Pipsqueak said with narrowed eyes. "...our mission is to..."
"Yes..."The Chief said with a nod. "Team Luna will be leading this investigate in hopes of finding the missing Officers and...hopefully discover what is going on in the Everfree..."
"So let me get this straight..." Apple Bloom said as one of hooves shot out. "Derpy Hooves went missin'...the team sent to find her went missn' and the team sent to find the team that was sent to find the officer...went missin'..." Apple Bloom placed a hoof to her head. "...and now your sendin' us." Apple Bloom turned to her team. "Does anypony else see the flaw in this plan?"
"I do..." Pip grumbled.
"Now then...." The Chief continued (She clearly has selective hearing.). "We lost contact with the teams...."The chief walked over to a map. "About...here..." The Chief pointed to a small landmark in the center of the Everfree Forest. " The old abandoned Mansion..."
"Abandoned Mansion..." Apple Bloom said in a slightly surprised voice.
"Don't you remember? "Noteworthy said. "...it's the one that was built for the Rich family..."
"Rich family? who're you talkin' abou-..?" Apple Bloom paused. "Oh...I see you mean Billionaire Diamond Tiara's family..." The mare lowered her head. "I'd forgotten about her...." Apple Bloom tilted her head. "but wait why was the building never finished?"
"There's several reasons...the building was adandoned..." Noteworthy said with a sigh. "After Mrs.Rich Accidently strangled herself while walking down a flight of stairs; the building designer, a zebra named Zecora...disappeared mysteriously."Noteworthy took in a deep breath . "Poor Mr.Rich was so distraught that he committed sucide...by stabbing himself seventy-four time in the back..." The blue stallion lowered his head."I still have the newspaper about the events. "Noteworthy pulled an old newspaper from his saddlebag; showing a small pink filly with tears dripping down her face and a wide grin plastered across her face. "The poor little filly and her adopted sister inherited the entire fortune..."
"Did we..." Apple grimaced as she looked the paper over. "...Ever follow up on this case or....?"
"Whaddya mean?" Noteworthy said in a puzzled voice.
"Never...mind." Apple Bloom said slowly.
"Now then..." The chief said slowly. " While the chopper is refueling..."
"Understood..." Rumble said with a nod as he stood up from his chair. "...Ok team lets go stock up...we don't know what's our there...so... Ma'am..."
"Yes." The chief said. "...deadly force is allowed."
"Oh cool!" Noteworthy said with a grin ."We get guns this time around!"
"Yes Officer..." The chief raised an eyebrow. "...that's what deadly force usually entails."
"Oh thank Celestia." Noteworthy said with a sigh of relief. "because...well..,trying to enforce the law with pies isn't exactly easy to do..."
"Your...safty...is our top priority." The chief said with a smile. "I mean...It's not like I'm purposely sending the teams to that location because I'm being paid to or anything."
"Wait..." Apple Bloom paused. "wha-?" Apple Bloom started but Truffle quickly jumped in front of her.

"Our Safty..." Truffle snorted as he shot up from his seat. "I don't know about any of you, but I have a plan to keep us safe and we wouldn't even have to leave the station..." Truffle turned to the others. "I say we nuke the site from orbit...It's the only way for us to b-..."
"Truffle..." Noteworthy said as he rolled his eyes. "..that's your solution to everything..." Noteworthy sighed as he shook his head slowly. "I mean seriously...how much of Equestria would actually be left if we went through with that plan every time you suggested it?"
Truffle opened his mouth to protest but quickly shut it and made his way to door; mumbling to himself as he passed the blue stallion.
"Alright team..." Rumble chucked as he place a hoof on Truffle's shouler. "Let's move out."
One by one the team of ponies shuffled through the door. They stocked up on weapons then headed for the heliport that was on top of the building.
"I Just want to wish you all good luck...We're all counting on you." The chief said with a smile as Team Luna boarded the bright rainbow-colored helicopter. "...because...well if you go missing I certainly won't have anypony left to send after you..."The chief mumbled under her breath.
"Did you say something chief?" Pip said with narrowed eyes.
"Nope...not a thing..." The chief smiled nervously as her eyes shifted side to side. "Just be safe out there that's all..."She paused for a second. "Oh and don't die!"
"I don't know about you blokes." Pip said dryly as the helicopter began to lift off. " but the chief's words certainly instilled a lot of confidence in me...."
"I know just what mean Pip." Rumble said a nod. "The chief has alot of faith in us...lets not disappoint her."
Pipsqueak's eye twitched as stared dumbfoundedly at the pegasus. "Yo-you...can't be seriou-" Apple Bloom's hoof shot out stopping Pip mid-sentence.
"Just let it go Pip." Apple Bloom shook her head slowly. "Just let it go..."
Pip rolled his eyes,sighed then sat down. "Idiots...the whole lot of 'em." Pip whispered to himself.
Apple Bloom chuckled to herself as she sat down behind Truffle. Her smile quickly faded however when her mind drifted to her two friends,Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. The three had been friends since they were fillies, they had grown up together, played together, bathed together and had even gotten their cutie marks together. The day the three had been accepted into the force was one of the happiest days of Apple Bloom's life; but it was also one of the worst days of her life as well. The three had been together for so long that when they had been separated into different teams it nearly broke Apple Bloom's heart.
Apple Bloom was assigned to Team Luna while the two closest friend's she'd ever known were assigned to Team Cadence. Since then the yellow mare had barely any time to catch up with her friends; and as much as she didn't want to admit it to herself; the three were slowly starting to drift apart. (Well...you know not so much Sweetie and Scootaloo because well there on the same team.) Team Cadence and Team Luna ran on different schedules, whenever Apple Bloom was leaving work, her friends were just arriving. The Scarlet haired mare had issued several form of transfer but each time she was denied as nopony wished to trade positions with the mare. (Because clearly Snips,Snail or Featherweight would rather be on a team with one mare instead of a team with three.).
"But now..." Apple Bloom lowered her eyes as images of her friends flashed before her. "There...missin'... Sweetie and Scoots are...out there and I'm not with'em..." Just the thought of her two friends missing made Apple Bloom's heart sink deeper into her chest.
"Stay safe guys..." Apple thought as she stared out the window. "...I'm on my way..."
~~~~~ The rhythmic rocking of the Helicopter was actually quite soothing. (Who knew a hungover pegasus was such a good pilot.) Had it not been for the constant chatter between Rumble and Truffle; Apple Bloom would have probably drifted off into a pleasent dream about her friends doing some cutie mark related crusade.
Apple bloom's eyes felt heavy and slowly began to close. "So Rookie." Rumble said completely out of nowhere. "how does it feel to be on your first real mission?"
Apple Bloom blinked a few times as she lifted her tired head up. "I'm sorry...what was that?...did...did you just call me a rooki-"
"Well yeah..." Rumble said with a grimace. "You and your two friends just joined the force...what was it...oh yeah...two weeks ago right?"
"What!" The mare's eyes widened. "Wait then who's the captai-"
"Captain Rumble!" Blossomforth called out from the pilot's seat. "We're getting close to that mansion thingy..."
"Alright...understood!" Rumble replied back.
"Wait..." Apple Bloom put a hoof to her chin. "Your the Captain...Rumble."
"Y-yes..." Rumble said slowly. "I'm the Captain...I've been the Captain of this team for awhile now..." The pegasus placed a hoof on Apple Bloom's shoulder. "Are you feeling ok...Apple Bloom? I'm not over working you or anything am I?"
"I'm fine." Apple Bloom said as she pushed Rumble's hoof away. "I just don't get it."
"What do you mean?" Rumble asked.
"It's just..." Apple Bloom said. "The story description says that I lea-."
"Apple Bloom..." A stern motherly voice called from the back of the helicopter. "You know your not suppose to mention the story silly."
Apple Bloom and the other ponies turned towards the voice (This of course included Blossomforth...you know... the pony piloting the helicopter... isn't it amazing this team is still alive.). To Team Luna's surprise a pink mare was sitting alone in one of the seats in the back.
"Pin-...Pinkie Pie?" Apple Bloom tilted her head. "What are you...doin' her-"
"You were about to break the fourth wall.I had to come." The pink mare giggled to herself..
"Fourth...wall..." Apple grimaced. "what're you talkin abou-"
"Whoops! Would you look at the time." Pinkie Pie lifted up her right foreleg, tilted it, then stared at it for a second before jumping from her seat. "I have to go." The pink mare walked over to the side door and opened it. "Bye guys!!" Pinkie smiled to the team then leapt through the door.
The six ponys watched as the pink pony disappeared from into the darkness of the forest below. "Huh....well..." Rumble said as he turned to Apple Bloom. "Now what were you saying Apple Bloom?"
"Really!!" Pip shot up from his seat. "No seriously...are none of you going to comment on what jus-"
"Captain!!" Blossomforth called out.
"Yes what is it Blossomforth?" Rumble replied.
"We're here sir..."
"Alright good." Rumble stood up."Ok team suit up..."
~~"NO!!!!!!"
"No! No! No!!! Don't you dare ignore me!!!!" Pip snarled."I'm still talking here." Pip jumped into the center of the helicopter. "...are none of you freaked out by what just happened with the pink mare!"
"I am but..." Apple Bloom said calmly. "...I think it's over already...no point fussin' over somethin' we have no control over."
"NO!" Pip said with a scowl. "It's not over till I say it's ove-"
The Helicopter landed softly to the ground; it bounced a bit but quickly came to a stop.
"Ok team..." Rumble said as he opened the door. "Move out!"
One by one the ponies jumped out of the helicopter until the only two left were Rumble and Blossomforth.
"Blossomforth." Rumble turned to the pilot. "I want you to wait in the Helicopter...we don't know whats in there so we might need to get out of here as quickly as we can."
"Understood." The pegasus mare said with a salute.(unbeknownst to the others; Blossomforth had managed to smuggle a few...dozen bottles of gin that a certain plum-colored pony had given her as a birthday present.)
Rumble dove from the chopper doing an action roll until he was in front of his team.
"Ok guys." Rumble said. (Both Apple Bloom and Pip rolled their eyes at the grey pegasus' overly dramatic entrance.) "We're going to split into two teams but first..." Rumble tilted his head and picked up a large duffle bag. "Pip I want you to hold the weapon bag for us alright."
Pip stared at the bag for a second. "Ok...then...tha-that actually sounds like a good idea..."
"Ok...now that that's taken care of..." The pegasus turned to the massive building. "we're gonna split into two tea-
"You said that already..." Apple Bloom deadpanned. "And...wouldn't it be safer to...ya know...not split up..."
"Hmmm...i'll take that into account for next time..." Rumble said as he put a hoof to his chin ."Anyway...the A team will consist of myself and..." He turned to the blue stallion. "...Noteworthy." Noteworthy smiled and nodded. " ...we'll be going through the front door while the B team...."
"Um..."Pipsqueak turned around as if he was searching for something."...did anypony else notice there aren't any other helis around?"
"Pay attention." Rumble said quickly. "I want this to go as smoothly as possible so everypony has to listen."
Pip sighed and shook his head. "Fine then..."
"Anyway..." Rumble continued. "The B team will consist of Truffle shuffle,Apple Bloom and Mister Crumpet and that team wil-"
"Mr...Crumpet....."Pip whispered to himself before glaring at the Captain. "Really? Like...I mean seriously...are you for real?"
"What's wrong?" Rumble asked. "Is it the name? I know it's not perfect but it took me like a few hours to come up with it and I thought you'd like it cause it's British sounding."
"Are you kidding me!!!" Pip narrowed his eyes.
Rumble tilted his head like a lost puppy "You don't like it? I thought It fit you well."
"You...I-I..." Pip put a hand to his face as blood dripped down from his nose.
"Are you alright Mister biscuit?" Rumble asked quickly.
"No...yeah...I mean I'm fine...just losing brain cells that's all..." Pip said as he wiped his face. "Stupidity has a habit of doing that..."
"You know what I just realized?" Noteworthy said as he butted into the conversation.
"That our commanding officer and a block of wood have a lot in common?" Pip said through gritted teeth .
"No ." Noteworthy chuckled. "That Mister and biscuit...kinda rhyme...well I mean sort of..."
Pip stared at the two for a few moments then walked to Apple Bloom "I hope you both die in a fire..."
"Ok as for the B team..."
"Bloody wanker..." Pip said under his breath as he continued to glare at the pegasus captain.
"...that team will be going around the side..." Rumble continued. "...and maybe find a side entrance to this building."
"So...Team B is goin' around the buildin'...out in the open...while you Team A goes inside...the large safe structure..." Apple Bloom turned to Pip who simply rolled his eyes.
"Alright now that everypony knows..." Rumble turned to face Pip. "Pip if you wouldn't mind, would you please hand out the standard pistols to everypony."
Pip nodded,lifted the duffle bag and placed it in front of himself. "Alright...then..."
The pinto stallion opened the bag and peered inside. "Bloody...hell..." Pip's face went pale. "Just the pistols....Captain?"
"For the time being." Rumble nodded.
Pip gathered up several standard pistols from the bag and began handing them out.
"Ok team...this is a rescue mission remember...so please only use your gun if there isn't any other choice understood."
The ponies holstered their guns then nodded.
"If we don't find anything...we'll meet back at the helicopter understood." Rumble turned and began pacing. "I don't want to lose anypony so please be careful."
Rumble stopped in front of Apple Bloom; his eyes drifted to the mare's back leg. "I never noticed that before..." Rumble said slowly. "What is it?"
"This is..." Apple Bloom lifted her leg up and sighed. "A present my late Granny Smith gave me..."
"I see..." Rumble nodded. "...hopefully you won't have to use it."
Apple Bloom returned the nod then lowered her eyes. "I doubt I'd need it...after all we got guns so I don't think I'd need a kn-..." Apple Bloom trailed off as she rested her leg back to the ground.
"Ok guys." Rumble said turned to the rest of the team. "Is everyon-...I mean everypony set..."
"Yes sir." The ponies said in unison.
"Ok Teams A and B..." Rumble lifted up his right hoof. "Go!" his hoof shot forward giving the teams the signal to move out.
Team B sprinted(well Truffle went as fast as he could anyway.) forward, they turned the corner and disappeared from sight.

"Alright Noteworthy lets go." Rumble moved slowly to the door."Ready?"
"Yeah...I'm ready for anything." The Blue stallion replied.
"Ok on the count of three...we buck the door..."
"Right...on three then." Noteworthy replied.
"Ok...get ready...One...Two....THREE!!!"
The two stallions pulled their legs back and bucked the door with all their might. To their surprise however the door was much sturdier then they thought it would be, and even with the two combined the door had barely budged from the impact.
"Again!"Rumble called out.(Why they... never thought to use the door's handle is anyone's guess.)
The Two stallions pulled their legs back again and bucked the door;this time the sides began to splinter.
"One more time!!!"
The stallions bucked the door one final time; breaking it off it's hinges and sending it flying across the large main hall that the two were now standing in.(Congrats guys you just broke down an unlocked door.)
"Hmm..." Rumble hummed to himself as he took a few steps inside. "Seem pretty clear to me...I don't see anything out of the ordinar-"
"Uh....sir...?" Noteworthy said as he tapped the pegasus on the shoulder.
"Yes Noteworthy..." Rumble said as he turned his head slowly. " What is i- "
The Blue stallion's shaky hoof shot past Rumble's face. "What the hell is that over there!"
Rumble spun around quickly to the direction Noteworthy was pointing and what he saw made his stomach turn. 'My...God...."

Rumble and Noteworthy froze in place as they looked on in silent horror at pony in front of them. kneeling down in a pool of blood at the center of the room; a few feet away from a large staircase; lay a puke-green coated stallion. (Rumble must really need glasses if he missed that when they first arrived.). The stallion let out a low moan as he dropped his head downward; creating a made loud crunching noise that echoed throughout the hall as the stallion bobbed his up and down. Rumble took a step backwards but his hoof hit a squeaky floorboard which must have alerted the pony as he suddenly stopped moving. (Yeah...because all the yelling and door breaking wouldn't have alerted the obvious zombie to their position.) The stallion brought his head back up; turned and stared at Rumble and Noteworthy. The Stallion moaned loudly; blood dripping down his face; as the pony started to get up.
"My goodness..." Rumble's face went pale. "That pony....is in desperate need of a Doctor."
"Oh no....Captain...look..." Noteworthy said timidly.
"I know...I can see the condition he's i-"
""No!" Noteworthy shook his head. "I'm not talking about the stallion..." He paused and turned his head away. "...There...there's a mare under him!"
Rumble's eyes drifted downward and sure enough there was a light yellow coated,cornflower blue maned mare laying sprawled out in the center of the pool of blood.
"Loo-look at the blood on his face." Noteworthy pointed to the stallion's face. "..I-I think tha-that bastard was...eating her..."
"Officer Lemon Hearts!!" Rumble called out. "Are you all righ-
"Her throat was ripped out for Luna sakes!" Noteworthy said as he pointed a hoof at the downed officer's heavily bleeding neck. "I'm pretty sure she's dead."
Rumble bit his lip, lowered his head then sighed; as he inwardly mourned the fallen officer.
"Ok..." Rumble's head shot up and he glared at the green stallion. "Stand down now! Or we will use lethal force!"
The Stallion staggered forward; his cloudy eyes fixed on the officers.
"He's not backing down...." Noteworthy said as turned to face Rumble.
"He's not giving us much of an option then." Rumble nodded then reached for his holster."I guess there's only one way."
"Understood sir..." Noteworthy reached for gun.
"Alright...You take point." Rumble said slowly as he took a few steps backwards. "And I'll cover you...we have no idea what this stallion is capable of...so be careful..."
"Right." Noteworthy took a few steps forward; He held his gun upward and slowly brought it down, until it was level and steady.
"Don't worry, I'm right behind you Notewort-." Rumble stopped suddenly and grunted loudly as if something heavy had collided with him. "What?! Who are yo-...get off me!!!"
"Captain what's goin-?" Noteworthy's voice died in his throat as he turned his head, only to see a pegasus mare wrapping her forelegs over Rumble's shoulder.
"What are you...doing...." Rumble yelped as he staggered backwards.
The pegasus mare let out a low moan as pressed her weight down on Rumble. "Oh shit!!!" Noteworthy's eyes widened in fear. "...Rumble!"
Noteworthy jerked the gun around and pointed it at the pegasus mare. "Freeze!!!" He said firmly, but to the blue stallion's surprise; there was no reaction from the mare, no hesitation to her movements and certainly no fear of the gun."I said freeze!!!" Noteworthy shouted harshly, but still the mare didn't react.
Noteworthy inched his way across the marble floor; getting a better look at the mare in the process. At fist glance the mare looked almost identical to the stallion that had killed Officer Lemon Heart (Who of course was still slowly making his way to the two stallions.), but as he drew closer he noticed there were some differences. While the stallion's coat and mane were a dark green, (the stallion's mane was a slightly lighter green but was still almost identical to his coat color.) The mare on the other hoof had patches of jasmine spread across her coat and streaks tiffany blue throughout her mane.
The closer Noteworthy got to the mare, the more unnatural her green coat seemed to be. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Noteworthy couldn't help but think that the jasmine and the tiffany blue were the mare's original colors. How and why she was slowly turning green was something Noteworthy had no answer to, but there was something else about the mare that he couldn't help but feel he recognized. It was her face; there was something about her face, although bloodied,it seemed very familiar to the blue stallion, as if he had met the mare before.
Noteworthy stopped suddenly. "Wait the face...the jasmine coat...the tiffany blue mane....the fact that she's a pegasus...oh no..." Noteworthy's face fell at the sudden realization of who the mare was. "Oh...God...tha-thats...Officer...Raindrops..."
"What did you say Noteworthy?" Rumble said as he pushed the mare back a bit.
"I said...I think that's Raindrops..."
""Raindrops!" Rumble said in surprise.
Rumble tilted his head to examine the pegasus mare; who was snapping at his face. After a few seconds a smile crept across his face.
"Your right it is Raindrops...I can't believe I didn't recognize her...." Rumble turned his attention back to the moaning mare. "Raindrop why didn't you say something...also...did you do something to your mane?"
"I-I...It's green sir...her coat and mane are both green!"
"Yes...of course...you're absolutely right Noteworthy..." Rumble paused for a second as he turned his eyes back to the mare."Raindrops...what happened to your coat..."
"Sir...I think we have more pressing matters at the moment..." Noteworthy said as he pointed to the slowly approaching stallion.
"Yes...yes...your right ..." Rumble took in a deep breath. "Raindrops...dear..."Rumble began. "....where's the rest of your team?" The mare moaned hungrily as she snapped her bloodstained jaws at Rumble's face. "Raindrops....I've never seen this side of you before...you're like an animal..." Rumble gave the mare a lustful smile. "Hmm.....maybe after we're done here we can go back to my place and..."
"Sir!"
"What! What is it Noteworthy!?" Rumble snapped at the officers.
"Now I know this is going to sound crazy..." Noteworthy sighed to himself. "Really....really crazy..."
"Just spit it out already!" Rumble said in an annoyed tone.
" Ok....I think....Officer Raindrops and the stallion that killed Lemon Hearts...." Noteworthy paused for a second as a grimace formed across his face. "...are Zombies...."
The two stallion stared at each for a few seconds. "Uh huh...O-Okay..." Rumble said slowly. "...and...how did you come to this...um...completely NOT insane revelation?"
"Well lets see..." Noteworthy said in an annoyed voice, through gritted teeth. " Other then the obvious fact that the Stallion was EATING Officer Lemon Hearts..."
"I'm sure...there's a reasonable...explanation..." Runble said
"Like what...!?" Noteworthy scoffed.
"Well..."
"Then there's also Raindrops." Noteworthy continued. "I mean look at her..." He said pointing to the mare. "...her eyes are cloudly and blank....She basically changed colors and then theres that bite mar- ...oh I'm sorry...GASH on her chest!!"
Runble lowered his eyes to the mare's chest. "It's...not that ba-"
"I CAN SEE HER RIBS!!!" Noteworthy snarled. "There is literally a chunk of her flesh missing from her body....seriously...there is no way she should be alive....ergo Raindrops and that prick over there...." He pointed to the bloodied (still aproaching!!!!) stallion. "Are pony eatting,undead.... bucking Zombies!!!!"
Rumble tilted his head slightly as if going over the information he had just recieved in his head. ' "Hmmm..." Rumble bit his lip and sighed. " Yo-"Rumble paused to dodge a lunge at his throat from the mare. "...you might be right..."
"Raindrops!!" Rumble said quickly as he dodged a second lunge at his throat from the zombified mare. "Please stop...this isn't yo-"
"Sir!" Noteworthy snarled. "That isn't bucking Raindrops anymore she's a bucking Zombie...seriously we just had this conversation...like a second ago!"
'Right...right..." Rumble said with a quick nod of his head. "Sorry...um....just got a little distracted...with you know...the fact my marefriend is trying to bite my head off!!'"
"Ok...what are we going to do!" Rumble said quickly. "Should I...well you know...?"
Rumble bit his lip. "I don't think theres any other choice...you're going to have t-" Rumble stopped suddenly as the mare pushed him back a bit almost overpowering him but at the last second Rumble gained his footing and pushed the mare back. "Seriously would you stop that!!!" Rumble swore under his breath then turn to the Blue stallion and sighed. "Yeah...if you wouldn't mind could you PLEASE...shoot officer Raindrops and the stallion over there!"
"I-I understand sir..." Noteworthy said as he took in a deep breath. "I'm sorry...it has to be this way..."
"I know..." Rumble said softly. "I know..."Rumble stared into the pegasus mare's dead lifeless eyes; then turned back to Noteworthy. "...but it has to be done..."
"Right." Noteworthy said slowly as he turned to the puke green Stallion (seriously what is taking this Zombie so long...what is he pausing every time they talk or something.).
Noteworthy lifted his gun up; slowly balancing it as he took aim. "He's a zombie...gotta aim for the head...one bullet...that's all it'll take...then Raindrops." Noteworthy told himself. "after that we'll meet up with Apple Bloom and the others and get the buck out of this bucking place...just two bullets and it's over..."
Noteworthy steadied the gun; his breathing slowed as he the barrel moved into position between the Zombie's eyes. "Bang!" Noteworthy said in a cool action movie sort of way.
The room went silent but only for a second as the zombie stallion's groans quickly drowned all other sounds in the room.
"Well?" Rumble said slowly. "Are you going to shoot him or what!?"
Noteworthy grimaced as his head shot downward to the gun. To his surprise nothing had happened. "I thought I di-...ok then..." Noteworthy took aim again. "lets try this again..."
"Fire!" Noteworthy said as he tilted the gun slightly. "SHOOT!!!" Noteworthy said in a more annoyed tone. "Do something!!!'Noteworthy snarled as he shook the gun violently
"What in Equestria are you doin-!?" Rumble cried as he took a few steps backward as he was quickly losing his strength. "You can't just yell gun words and expect something to happen! Just bucking shoot him!"
Noteworthy tilted the gun slowly. "Um...ok....quick question..."
"What!' Rumble shouted in annoyance.
"How...do I shoot a gun?" Noteworthy chuckled nervously.
Rumble's face went pale. "W-wh-what..." Rumble stammered for a few before finding his voice again. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON"T KNOW HOW TO FIRE A GUN!!!"Runble shouted.
'I've never shot one before!" Noteworthy said with a grimace. "I mean...I've alway been under the impression you just give a gun a command and it fired."
"Wh-no." Rumble groan (if he wasn't fighting for dear life Rumble would have probably facehoofed.). "...that is...quite possibly... the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life!!!"
"Well how would I know!" Noteworthy replied angrily.
"Just go back to your trai-" Runble started.
"Training!!" Noteworthy yelped. "What training...we were taught how to use pies....freaking pies! Hell I didn't even know we had guns until a few hours ago!!!"
"Ok listen...just pull the trigger..." Rumble said calm voice. "That's it...alright..."
Noteworthy lifted the gun to his face; examining it slowly. The stallion's eyes moved from the trigger; to his hoof then back at Rumble. "How...with my tongue!?" Noteworthy snarled. "This is a hoof!" Noteworthy waved his front hoof rapidly. "It's not scientifically possible...but then again..." Noteworthy tilted his head slowly. "How am I even able to hold the gun in the firs-"
"Noteworthy!" Rumble shouted. "This is a direct order from your commanding officer...shoot that thing now!!!"
"But!?"
"Do it now!" Rumble growled.
"Ok...ok..." noteworthy took in a deep breath. "I'll do it...or I'll try at least...but I'll need complete silence so i can concentr-'
"SHOOT IT!' Rumble Screamed at the top of his lungs."SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT! FOR GOD'S SAKE SHOOT IT THEN GET THIS...BITCH OFF ME!"
"Rumble please...your not hel-"
'GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR AND KILL THESE BLOODY MONSTERS!!!' Runble screeched
Noteworthy yelped and stumbled forward a bit from Rumbles shouts "Ok..." Noteworthy thought slowly. "We can do this...somehow...just aim and shoot..."
Noteworthy extended his hoof keeping it steady. "Come on..." he closed his eyes."Please...just this once...please work..."

Noteworthy's eyes shot open as he watched the stallion fall backward. 'I-i...I did it!" Noteworthy smiled brightly. "I-i shot him I-" Noteworthy cheered as he turned around quickly. "I did i-"
Noteworthy stopped mid sentence. "Wh-but,,...how did you...."Noteworthy grit his teeth.
To Noteworthy's surpirse and mild confusion and annoyance; Rumble was holding out a gun with one of his hooves while his other was holding back the mare. A small stream of smoke poured from the tip of Rumble's gun.
"H-how..did you do that..." Noteworthy said slowly as his one eye twitched.
"That's not important right no-" Rumble's eyes quickly widened as one of Raindrops' rotted wings extended knocking the gun from his hoof; forcing him to hold her at bay once more with both of his hooves. "Noteworthy theres no time left! Quick get her off me!!"
"Ok..." Noteworthy lowered his eyes. "but first your going to tell me how you shot that gun..."
"WHAT!!!" Rumble screamed. "ARE YOU BUCKING INSANE!!"
"Just tell me how you shot the gun!" Noteworthy snarled. . "I-I'm losing my str-"
"Seriously It would take like a second." Noteworthy tilted his head. "Just tell me and I'll get the zom-"
"THERES NO TIME!!' Rumble snarled.
"Oh..." Noteworthy narrowed his eyes and snickered a bit. "Well guess what...I have all the time in the world..." Noteworthy sat down and folded his arms. "So unless you want to be lunch...I suggest telling me."
Rumble grimaced tilting his head towards the blue stallion. "Noteworthy please!!" Rumble pleaded; his eyes wide with fear. "I-I don't know how much longer I ca-"
The mare let out a loud moan as she used her strength to push Rumble backward. The light gray pegasus hit the ground hard; his head collided with the marble floor dazing him for a few seconds. His eyes fluttered slightly as he attempted to ajust his vision; when he looked up he saw raindrops standing over him.
Rumble's eyes went blank. "O-Oh Go-"
The mare moaned lightly as she sunk her teeth into Rumble's shoulder; tearing a mouthful of flesh from the stallion's body. Rumble opened his mouth to scream but ended up coughing up blood as Raindrops ripped open his chest and began to eat his insides. Rumble's eye went blank as his life's Blood began to pooled around him; in a manner of seconds the stallion was dead.
Noteworthy stare dumbfounded at the horrible scene. "Oh...wow...t-that..did not work out as planned..." Noteworthy said softly as the mare continued to feast on Captain Rumble. "W-why...why didn't you just tell me..."
A loud snarl caught Noteworthy's attention. The stallion turned sharply only to see the zombie stallion standing back up.The stallion's face and most of his body was blood red as if the creature had gone through somesort of transformation. Long bone-like claws stuck out from the stallion's front hooves as he took a step forward.
"Oh...shi-" Noteworthy's eyes widened in panic as he held out his gun.."GODDAMNIT RUMBLE" Noteworthy screamed as he twisted the gun in every direction.
The stallion charged forward at a surprising speed; his left claw swatted Noteworthy's gun from his hoof as he aimed his right one for Noteworthy's chest.
"I immediatly regret all of my life's decisions..." Noteworthy sighed softly.
The Zombie (crimson head.) stabbed Noteworthy repeatedly through the chest spraying his blood all across the floor.Noteworthy gasped with each strike; blood pouring from his mouth from the unending pain he felt. The zombie let out a raspy moan then stabbed Noteworthy through the thoart and threw him to the ground. Noteworthy held his bloody neck with a hoof; his vision began to blurr; the last thing he saw was a pink bow appearing from the doorway and the stallion's head exploding. Noteworthy gasped one final time before closing his heavy eyes and slowly drifting off into his eternal rest (still cursing Rumbles name of course.).

"Wait!?" Apple Bloom said slowly as she tilted one of her ears upward. "Was that gunfire?"
"I didn't hear a thing..." Pip said with a nod without even looking back.
Apple Bloom narrowed her eyes at the stallion.
"What?" Pip said with a nervous chuckle.
Apple Bloom sighed and rolled her eyes. "Come on..."
Apple Bloom pulled the pinto stallion back around the building with Truffle Shuffle following close behind.
"I'm sure theres a reasonable explanation for that gunshot..." Pip sighed softly as he was dragged along.
"The captain and Noteworthy could be in trouble..." Apple Bloom said with worry in her voice.
"Oh yes..." Pip sarcastically. "That would be horrible."
"They could be hurt!" Apple Bloom grimaced as they rounded the corner; stopping at the doorway to the building.
"Well it'sa not like there being brutally murd-" Apple Bloom's hoof grabbed Pip and pulled him forward. "Apple Bloom what are you..." Pip's eyes widened at the carnage that was in front of him. "Oh...oh God..."Pipsqueak said slowly.
The three watched in horror as Noteworthy as stabbed repeatedly and thrown to the ground.
"NOTEWORTHY!" Apple Bloom yelped.
The young mare charged forward. She stopped suddenly pulling out her pistol and taking aim. Apple bloom fired a single shot that blew through the clawed stallion's head causing it to explode. Apple Bloom rushed forward kicking the stallion's body away and knelt down putting a hoof on Noteworthy's neck to feel for a pulse.
"D-dead..." Apple bloom whispered softly. "...h-he's...dead..."
Apple Bloom lowered her head as a few tears formed at the sides of her eyes.
"Um..." Pip said quickly as he turned Apple Bloom's head slightly. "I think we have bigger problems..."
Apple Bloom's eyes locked onto the puke green mare across from them. The pegasus mare was knelt down infront of another pony. Her teeth were stained red and her eyes were dead. Her face was covered in crimson as she tilted her head burying it into the body infront of her.
Apple Bloom folded her ears and put a hoof to her face. "Sh-shes...eatin'em...ain't she..."
."A-and the one shes eating..." Truffle said with a grimace. "...is that th-the captain..."
'I-I...think...it is..."Apple Bloom closed her eyes and lowered her head slowly.
Pip tilted his head slightly at the corpse the mare was feasting and nodded. "Oh no...they killed the captain..."Pip said in a monotone voice."Well ate...is a more appropriate word I guess..."
Apple Bloom's face turned green. . "Oh...Oh God I think I'm gonna be sick..."
Apple Bloom turned her head away from the horrid scene and emptied her stomach onto the floor; but made sure not to throw up to close to herself or the others. Raindrops lifted her head from Rumble's body; staing at the three with her cold dead eyes. Raindrops moaned lightly and stood up; she staggered forward walking towards Apple bloom and the others.
"What bloody hell is going on in this place!!" Pip snarled as he shot upward from the ground and took aim at the mare. Pip tilted his head as he looked over the mare's broken and decaying body. "I can't even believe i'm saying this but... I-I think Raindrops is a bloody zombie..."
Apple Bloom took a few second to process this. "A Zombie...how in the world..."
"No time to talk!" Pip said quickly as he leveled his gun.
Apple Bloom nodded and took up a stance as well; taking aim for the mare's head.
The mare moaned one last time before three bullets hit her twice in the chest and once through the head.
"The head...gotta hit'em in the head..."Apple Bloom reminded herself before looking up at Pip. "I guess comics and movies can be right sometimes huh..."
Pip nodde then looked over at Rumble's torn apart body. "She certainly did a number on him..."
Truffle slowly walked over to Rumble slowly bending down; to his surprise Rumble's eyes began to open.
"Guys!" Truffle yelped. "I-I think Rumbles still alive!"
Apple Bloom's face went pale. "Truffle!" She squeaked. "QUICK GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!"
Truffle blinked and looked up at Apple bloom. "Huh...Why?"
"I have two very important reasons!!!" Apple Bloom said quickly. "One...he was bitten...and half eaten by a zombie...meaning that he's going to turn into one himself! And two..." Apple paused for a second. "...you've had less then ten lines in the entire story!!!"
Truffle blinked slowly puting the pieces together in his head . "I'm screwed aren't I..."
Rumble lept forward grabbing Truffle and pulled him to the ground. Zombie Rumble bit down on Truffle's neck; tearing out his throat.
"NO!!!" Apple bloom screamed as she took aim but before she could fire Pip's hoof shot infront of her.
"Oh please..." Pip said with a half smile. "Let me have this..."
Apple Bloom closed her eyes and nodded.
Pip slowly walked up to the zombie that had been his captain and took aim. "Mister Crumpet..."Pip said through gritted teeth."...says goodbye."
Pip fired two shots into rumble's head and another into truffle's.
"I-I can't believe...this is happening..." Apple Bloom said softly. "Does that mean that Sweetie and scootaloo are..."
Pip grabbed Apple Bloom's shoulder pulling her forward. "We have to get out of here." Pip pulled Apple bloom towards the door. "Now!"
"B-but my friends..." Apple bloom said slowly.
"No time!" Pipsqueak said quickly." We can call for reinforcements or something but I'm not staying in this death house another seco-"
Suddenly a large steel shutterr slid downward over the doorway. The same shutters closed over the windows as well; leaving Apple bloom and Pipsqueak trapped in the room.
Apple Bloom took in several breaths as she looked over the sealed room. "W-what now?"
Pip sighed softly as he placed a hoof to his face. "This day...it just keeps getting better and better..."
