(This story also heavily involves Rarity,Rainbow Dash,Spike,Pinkie Pie,and Fluttershy. I just didn't get to choose them all because my choices were limited.)
Applejack entered the graveyard wearing a grey and olive scarf,walking slowly and hanging her head. As she walked past the gravestones she read many of her friends' names in her mind; "Twilight Sparkle","Rarity","Pinkie Pie","Fluttershy",and "Rainbow Dash". She stopped at a cracked grave. The words were printed as clearly as the day they were written.
Here lies Applebloom Loving daughter,sister,and mother.
May 8, 2003 - April 16, 2063
Applejack sighed. "Well,Sis'." she began. "Happy birthday. Ah brought ya a present." Applejack sat on the ground and dug through her saddlebag. She pulled out a clear,printed picture of Applejack and Applebloom,taken on Applebloom's 5th birthday. "Ah saved it after all these years." She planted the picture on the front of the gravestone. Applejack's smile faded the more she stared at the sight. A tear shed from her eye. "Ah'm sorry that this had to be so unfair." her voice broke."Ah wish ah would've gotten to say goodbye." She hung her head and sobbed quietly.
Princess Celestia approached behind her and lay a hoof on the orange mare's shoulder. "You miss her,don't you?" Celestia inquired. Applejack wiped a tear from her eye and sniffed. "Y-yeah. she muttered.
"I'm sorry life has to be so disappointing. I've been there,too. Same with Luna. We've lost so many friends and family during our lives. But,you know what? We kept our hopes up and took it with dignity. It'll get better,soon."
"It will?"
"Certainly."
"Well that's hogwash! Ah've lost a bunch of my relatives over the years,you expect me to be happy?! Mah life hasn' been the same since Applebloom passed away. Ah jus' wish Ah could see 'er again."
Celestia glared in annoyance. "Would you rather I take you back in time to the day you died?" "That's fahn. Maybe it'll boost mah memory." "Alright,then."
Celestia's horn glowed a very bright yellow and a beam of light shot at Applejack. Electricity crackled around the ball of light that surrounded the orange mare.
A ball of golden light grew in a field near Sweet Apple Acres. The light faded and Applejack appeared,wearing the same attire she did before.
She could hear laughter in the distance it was Applebloom and...herself.
As they grew closer, Future AJ began to sweat like a pig. If she were to get caught,it would cause a paradox. She jumped into the bush.
"Sis,what was that?" Applebloom asked her sister. "Ah don' know,an' ah don' wanna know. Let's go."
Future Applejack rose from the bush,a bird nest was perched on her head. "What are YOU lookin' at?!!"
The bird squawked in fear and flew away. AJ stared off into the distance. This was the day it all began. The day she met that evil mare. Vera, daughter and niece of the Fim Flam brothers. AJ shuddered at the thought of her name. Vera was the one who murdered her.
She popped back into the bush as she saw Fluttershy trotting happily forward. "Hello? Who's there?" Fluttershy inquired. She didn't hear a response. The yellow pegasus shrugged and continued trotting.
AJ popped back up. "Ah can't let anypony see me. No way,no how. It'll cause a paradox."
She jumped out of the bush and ran as quickly as she could. She passed a bunch of ponies,but she didn't care. All she wanted to do was run. Twilight popped out of nowhere in front of her. "Applejack! There you are! I've been looking for you for 2 hours! I need your help with something at the library." Twilight grabbed Applejack's leg. "Bu-BUT,TWAHLIGHT! AH HAVE SOMETHIN' IMPORTANT T' DO!!! CAN'T IT WAIT?!?!" "Nope! Let's go!"
The two disappeared.
All the ponies in the area were really weirded out,but also curious.
A train arrived at the train station. A yellow unicorn got off. Her mane was colored crimson and white. She wore a white and tophat,which was smaller than a normal tophat. She had a beauty mark right under her right eye. She also wore a blue suit much like her uncle and her father. Her eyes were emerald green. It was Vera.
She sighed and slowly walked to town. However,she heard screaming up in the sky. The Cutie Mark Crusaders fell down on top of her.
"Oh,um,Ah'm so sorry,miss!!! We didn't mean t' hurt ya!! Are ya okay??"
Vera brushed her coat. "Yes. Yes. I'm quite alright. Who are you kids?"
"Ah'm Applebloom!" "I'm Sweetie Belle!" "And I'm Scootaloo!" "AND WE'RE THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!!" They shouted in her ear.
"Cutie Mark Crusaders....how original..." she cleared her throat. "I'm Vera." "Well,howdy,Miss Vera!" Applebloom said. "Glad t' meet ya! Can we carry your bags?" "Of course." "While we're walking,you should meet mah sister,Applejack!" "Wait a minute." Vera paused. "Did you say Applejack?" "Uh...yeah?" Applebloom asked."Why?" "THAT LITTLE BRUTE RUINED MY FATHER'S BUISNESS! WHY IF I SEE HER TODAY,I WILL KILL HER!" "Uh...interesting!" Applebloom responded with a confused stare on her face. Vera grabbed her bags and ran off.
"She has problems." Scootaloo said,staring at her friends.

Twilight was with Future Applejack at her library.
"Twah,PLEASE let me go!" "No. This is serious. And WHERE is your hat?!" "Ah decided not t' wear it!" "I SAW YOU WEARING IT THIS MORNING!" Twilight screamed.
The purple unicorn huffed. and walked to the bookshelves. Her mood suddenly changed. "AJ,are you feeling alright?You didn't wanna help me,you're not wearing your hat...is something up? "...Ah'll tell ya why..but you have to believe me. Okay?" "Okay."
An hour later,Applejack's story was finished. Twilight sat in complete shock.
"Twah. Ya alright?" "Uh huh....I uh...So,you're immortal and you're from the future?" "Yep." "And the other Applejack will die today,and be revived 20 years later?" "Yes." And with that,Twilight fainted. This story,was to much for her to comprehend.
Twilight laid on a couch, unconscious. She looked almost lifeless. But she heard a voice in the distance. "Twahlight...Twahlight...." It sounded familiar. But she didn't know where it was coming from. "TWAHLIGHT!" Twilight woke up. Her eyes spun around. Applejack sat next to her. The farm pony looked quite worried."Wh-what happened?" The purple unicorn asked. "Ah told you a story and you fainted." "Oh,yeah,that...So you were saying you're from 1,000 years in the future,and this girl,Vera,tried to kill you?" "Yes. Also,Princess Celestia sent me back in time to here." "Huh! That's interesting. I have a plan,though." "What?!Tell me what it is!" "Well,you certainly can't STOP it from happening,but we can try to keep Vera away from the Applejack in this time period!" "What?!" Applejack was amazed. "How?" "We'll just try. For instance,I can say Pinkie Pie needs to throw a party for her since she just came to Ponyville today. And Rainbow Dash can yell an insult at her from the distance,and she'll come running to fight her. All I know is that I need to tell the others this story. Well,except for Applejack. Because,you know,paradoxes. Spike will take care of you here at the library. And,don't leave. At all. Just for safety. So,is it a plan?" "Uh," The orange mare began."Ah'm not sure. Ah like every part except the one with you tellin' the others..You won't tell the Crusaders and Big Mac,rahght?" Twilight shook her head. "Of course I won't! Only our friends. I promise." Applejack looked down and thought for a minute. Should she? It would jeopardize the future and what happens. If she wouldn't agree,Vera wouldn't be stopped and she'd be a minute closer to death. Applejack finally looked up and nodded. "It's a deal." Twilight smiled and grabbed her saddlebag. "I'll be back,soon." Twilight yelled. Then,she ran out the door. Spike walked down from from Twilight's bedroom,stretching and yawning. He scratched his back. "Hey. I heard something going on in here. What happened?" "Eveythin's jus' fahn,Spike. Twahlight n' Ah were jus' havin' a conversation." "Oh,why are you here? And,why do you look different?" Applejack looked to her left and her right. She giggled sheepishly and looked down at Spike. "Twahlight will tell y'all soon. But,she said you have to take care of me for now." "Oh. Okay! So what kind of food do farm ponies eat? I was thinking apples. I'll go get you some apples!" Spike ran eagerly out the door.
And then,Applejack was alone. Nopony to talk to. Just herself. Then an idea hit Applejack. She started brushing the library clean with her tail, humming a song. Twilight was doing a huge favor for her,she had to return it. After all,that's what friends do for eachother. They stick through the thin and thin and never give up. At least,that was her opinion. -- The four ponies gasped in amazement. "So,that's who was in the bush I passed by earlier!" Fluttershy exclaimed."I should've,um,looked in there. I'm sorry." Rarity smiled at Fluttershy. "Why dear,there is absolutely no need to be sorry! You weren't hurting anypony at all,so it doesn't matter!" Rainbow Dash nodded. "Rarity's right. But,what do we do about 2 Applejacks in Ponyville? I mean,we can't just sit here and do nothing!" Twilight sighed. "I was getting to that. I'll tell you what I told Applejack 2. I have a plan. We can't stop AJ 1 from being murdered,but we can slow down time." Pinkie stood up on her hind legs and put her hooves on her hip. "Girl,what you talkin' about?!" She replied. "I said,we can slow down time. It's not hard. You can throw a welcome party for Vera,or Rainbow Dash can start a fight with her,or Rarity can make her a new dress! Whichever way sounds best. So,is it a deal?" The four mares look at eachother and nodded. "Yeah!" They said simultaneously. And the 5 of them put their hooves in. "Now remember," Twilight began. "You can't tell the Crusaders OR Big Macintosh about this. It has to be our special secret. Okay?" "Okay!" "Good! Now let's spread out,girls. We've got work to do."
After the plan was made, Twilight decided that she should go home and make sure Future AJ was OK. She walked slowly back to the library,with her saddlebag strapped tightly onto her back. The bag was holding a map,a harmonica (for some odd reason), and a book,titled: "Stalling Evil People For Dummies". Of course,these tools were going to be used to stop Vera from murdering Applejack. The thought of a killer in Ponyville made Twilight shiver uncomfortably. It made her feels as if the town were in danger, or worse. Thinking about this,she picked up the pace and started running. This got her to the library in almost 10 seconds. "Good timing,Sparkle. Good timing." She said proudly to herself.
She remembered why she was here and started knocking on the door aggressively. It opened just a creak. "Y-yes?" It was Applejack. Her expression was compiled of pure distraught and fear. She was scared of something. Twilight knew it. "It's me,your friend? Twilight Sparkle?" She said, hoping Applejack would calm down. Applejack's expression lightened up immediately. "Twahlaght! It IS you! Well come on in!" The door was opened up all the way and a huge excited grin spread across Applejack's face. Twilight couldn't believe what she saw.
The library was....clean! All leftover papers in a recycling bin,all dirty quills sat on a damp towel,books neatly organized,and all the dust was gone! Twilight stood in awe. Nopony had ever done this for anypony before. Especially for Twilight. A huge smile grew on Twilight's face. She jumped up and tightly hugged Applejack. "AJ..did you do this?" She smiled. "Yes." The orange farm pony replied. "I love it. Thank you so much." Twilight was so happy she couldn't see straight. She was almost on the verge of tears. Applejack's s grin faded a little bit. She pushed Twilight away. "That's good. You can stop now." She said. Spike came downstairs and saw Twilight and Applejack. A smug grin came onto his face. "Well,well,well! I see you two are happy to see eachother!" Twilight giggled. "Yes...we sure are!" "Well,Twilight...while you were me and Applejack cleaned the library. Is that OK?" "it's perfect." Twilight smiled. She grabbed Applejack and Spike,and they had a big group hug."Thank you so much". Twilight said.

Vera walked to her house,went inside,and jumped on the couch. It was a long day. She yawned and decided to take a nap. Pinkie rose from behind the couch. "Time to make some distractions." She whispered. There was a pause. Then Pinkie started screaming while banging a frying pan with a big wooden spoon. Vera fell straight off the couch and rolled onto the floor. "Who in blazes are you?!" She angrily shouted. Pinkie Pie gave no answer. She ran out of the door screaming like an imbecile. Vera mouthed a word and got beck onto the couch and went to sleep. Pinkie Pie ran inside Sugarcube Corner and found her friends(Twilight and Applejack weren't there). "My mission.......is complete." She said firmly. She then bounced upstairs giggling. Rarity,Rainbow Dash,and Fluttershy looked at eachother in confusion. But,it was just Pinkie being Pinkie,they to theirselves. it was no big deal. "Okay,I'll start the conversation. What the heck did she do?!" Rainbow Dash yelled. Pinkie Pie zoomed downstairs. "I distracted her!" Rainbow Dash frowned. "But...that was MY job..." She said,pointing at herself. Pinkie Pie's smile faded. "Oh,I'm sorry,Dashie! I must have not heard Twilight right." "Ya think?" Rainbow Dash said flatly. Rarity stepped in. "I guess it's my turn to stall her? Whatever shall I do?" "...Make her pretty?" Fluttershy offered. Rarity paused.A huge,insane smile spread across her face. She giggled while bouncing up and down. "YES! YES! PERFECT! THANK YOU,FLUTTERSHY!!!" She ran outside. "Um....you're welcome?" Fluttershy said loudly.
