After the scientists of Johto learn that interdimensional travel is dangerous. They use Magikarp as their test subject, cause well who really cares about Magikarp. But what happens when a mischievous Gengar tags along. Chaos, chaos happens.
"DANG IT!!!" A scientist yelled with a grunt. " So what if the project is dangerous, it's for the sake of science."
" Um sir " a young goggled scientists said in a meak voice. " It's over, it's just to dangerous, the authorities won't allow it. "
" I know that. " the older scientists sighed as he got up from his seat and began to walk over, to the door that leads outside.
" Were are you going sir? " the young scientists said with a hint of fear in his voice. Seeing that the older scientist has a track record of pulling rouge moves.
"To get a drink." He said with a growl as he slammed the door.
The scientist began to walk to the bar, he pasted many people. One kid in particular caught his eye it was a young man with a ball cap and a pikachu on his back. Were has he seen him from, he thought to him self. But he just shrugged it off.
After about 10 minutes of walking, he reached the bar.
The scientist looked up to see the bright glowing sign it read "The Rock." The man chuckled at it... " Pewter city and its rocks." He soon entered the bar. It was full of thugs, col miniors, and con men. It stank of smoke, vomit, liquor, and sweat. He walked over to a stool, it was ripped and stained as if it's seen many bar fights. He sat down it was the most uncomfortable stool in the world, but he didn't mind.
As the man sat down a big gruff bartender noticed him. "What will it be Mak?" The bartender asked in a gruff voice. "The strongest thing you have will do." The scientists said with a hint of sarrow in his voice. The bartender just chuckled and pours a glass of brown liquid and slid it a crossed the counter to the man in the labcoat. The scientist gulped it down. He knocked on the counter to signal for another. He was about to drink more of the alcoholic beverage, but was stopped by a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a scrony man with a white head band on his head.
"Hello sir couldn't help but notice that lab coat of yours, so you must be a smart man? I have a deal for you I will sell you a rare Magikarp for only 500 dollars. What do you say, do we have a deal?" He asked with a strong sense of confidence in his words.
"Do you think I'm dum?"
"No sir that is why I'm selling you such a good pokemon for only 500 dollars."
" That thing is useless, it is far from rare. No one cares about it............ wait no one cares about it."
Wait since Magikarp are so useless, no one will miss a signal missing Magikarp. That means I can continue with my studies. The scientist thought to him self. He turned to the salesman and said with a smile " You have your self a deal."
" As I knew you where a smart man when I first saw you, that will be 500 dollars." The Con man said with a smile.
"Of course" the scientists said as he fished out his wallet and made his purchase. He gave the man the money and the man gave him a pokeball. Just as the salesman was about to walk away the scientist stopped him.
" Do you wish to buy another?" The salesman said with hope in his voice.
"No just need to check if the thing is actually in here." The scientist said as he pressed the button in the middle of the pokeball which realised the red fish. " Magik, Ma, Ma Magik, Magikarp. " The fish pokemon said frantically.
The scientist smiled and put the fish back in its ball and removed his hand from the man's shoulders.
" So would you like another?" The salesman said with a smile. The scientist just returned the question with a growl.
" Um well" the salesman began to chuckle nervously. "O look at the time, I must be leaving, so sorry goodbye" he said as he ran leaving a trail of dust in his wake.
"The scientist put his payment for the drinks on the counter and headed back to the lab with a spring in his step. Nothing can stop him now.
As he began his journey he was stopped by Officer Jenny. " Good evening Doctor, I hope you listened to me when I told you to stop you research."
"O of course, I did. You where right it was much to dangerous, to be continued." His words made the officer smile.
"That´s good to hear." Officer Jenny said with a smile, and the two parted ways. The scientist continued his way back to the lab. Seeing that he wanted to get there quick, the journey only took 7 minutes. He opened the door to the lab to see the other scientists where beginning to pack up the equipment. " STOP!!!! " he yelled. "The experiment is back on."
"But sir it's too dangerous, Office Jenny will have us arrested." The meek scientist pleaded, but received a big back hand to the face causing him to fall over.
"We´re doing it and that's final!!!!! " The scientist roared.
"But sir what shall we use?" Another scientists chirpped.
"With this....." The older scientists said in a evil tone. As he pressed the middle of the button on the ball, causing it to shoot a red laser. The laser took shape to reveal the pokemon. Once the rest of the scientists saw what it is they all suddenly burst into laughter. " You have lost your marbles." One scientist said between laughter.
"SHUT UP!!!!!!!" The older scientist roared. " A Magikarp is perfect, for the experiment. If it some how dies no one will miss it. It will be like it never happened." The said in a smug tone. As he finished the rest of them began to cheer.
"Now bring out the machine". The meek scientist from before now with a red welt on his face rolled a pod like device in the middle of the room. " Good " the older scientist said as he placed the flailing fish in the pod. " Now begin!!!!!" As he said it, the machines lights began to flash, electric crackling was roaring throughout the lab......... then it all stopped the pokemon was gone.
"YES IT WORKS...... now we're did it get sent to?" He ask in a happy but curious tone.

In Equistria
The sky turned a bright red, blue lightning tore through the sky. A portal began to form, it suddenly spit out, the Magikarp. " MA, MA, MAGIKARP!!!!" The pokemon screamed as it fell out of the sky and into the water.
Magikarp hit the water, and hit it hard. Causing the pokemon to be nocked out. The current of the river began to carry the helpless fish down stream. The current carried him for hours until he got washed up on the surface. A dark tall showdown began to overcast the fish, it belonged to a hungry bear. The bear began to sniff the fish for a minute until he was satisfied with the smell. The brown bear picked the poor pokemon up with his claws, and put it between his mighty jaws.
The hungry bear bite down with all his might, but soon regretted it. A loud teeth cracking sound was heard. The tough skin of the pokemon caused the bear a great amount of tooth pain. The bear roared out in pain as he dropped the fish. The impacted caused Magikarp to wake up, he saw the bear and panicked. "MA, MA, MAGIKARP!!!" The pokemon screamed in distress.
" O my goodness, Steve what's wrong?" A meal voice said. It belonged to Fluttershy. She looked at the seen. "Now Steve." She said in a soothing, but worried tone. "What's wrong?" The bear quickly pointed at his mouth. " O My, you have a tooth-ack. Here let me help you." She said in a motherly tone as she reached into her saddlebags and pulled out a green leaf. "Now open wide, sweetie." The bear complied as instructed and the yellow mare placed the leaf in his mouth. " All you need to do is chew, now who did this to you?" She said in a sterrn tone. Fluttershy never liked it when one of her critters was being picked on. Steve pointed to the red flailing fish. "O My goodness, you poor dear your hurt." She said because the pokemon is always over dramatic. She wissled and a few birds appeared with a semi-large tub.
She quickly filled it with water from the river. Magikarp saw the small body of water and jumped right into it. Fluttershy smiled " Now that you safe, let's take you back to my place to get you all pached up sweetie." She said in a soothing tone.
She, the small flock of birds, and Steve carrying the tub headed their way back to the cottage.
Soon Fluttershy, and her companions, arrived at her cottage. As the door swung open, she found herself greeted by the happy faces of her critters friends.
"Oh, hello everyone! I have a new friend here. Please help make..." She glanced at the Pokémon. "…him feel welcomed, okay?" She said in a low tone voice. The animals all nodded.
This made the mare smile. "Steve, please set him here." She gestured next to the couch. The bear complied, but stared daggers at the fish when Fluttershy wasn't looking. She smiled and trotted over to the tub. "You are a cutie, aren't you?" She said with a low but loving voice.
The Pokémon just stared at her. She continued to smile. "Now, let's check to see if you have any booboos." The mare said as she moved around the tub to check for injuries. "You have no injuries…how strange."
The mare smiled, "I'm happy that nothing is wrong." Her smile quickly faded, to a look of sadness and guilt. "Oh, I'm so sorry. You’re probably starving." Magikarp still had the same expression as before. "You are! I'll get you something to eat right away." Fluttershy said as she made her way to the kitchen.
She was stopped by a white bunny. He was tapping his paw with a sour look on his furry face. "Oh, Angel bunny, I'm sorry but I need to take care of our guest first. You don't mind do you?" Fluttershy asked with worry in her voice.
Angel just rolled his eyes.
"Oh, you’re such a little sweetheart." She said as she brought Angel in for a hug, then set him down and headed to the pantry in search of fish food.
She searched the whole pantry, from top to bottom, but couldn't find anything her new little friend might like to eat. "Oh dear," she said, trotting over to the tub. "I'm so sorry, but I’ll have to run to the market to pick up so food. Please don't be angry?" She said in a loving but worried voice.
"Ma, Ma, Magikarp. " The Pokémon replied.
"I'll be right back soon, I promise." She turned to the white bunny. "Angel, your in charge while I´m gone." The bunny saluted in response, and Fluttershy went out to the store.
Shortly after she left, Angel´s stomach began to rumble. He quickly hopped into to kitchen and retrieved a bowl of diced carrots, before returning to plop himself near the tub. Angel licked his lips and prepared to dig in. He opened his mouth and threw a diced carrot in the air to land in his mouth. To his surprise, it never landed. He looked around, but didn´t see the piece of vegetable anywhere.
He just shrugged it off, and tried it again, only to get the same results. Angel got irritated. He narrowed his eyes and picked up a diced carrot, slowly bringing it towards himself.
Suddenly, something wet clamped down on his paw. He looked down to see the fish pokémon sucking on his paw. Angel quickly slapped the Pokémon away. This retaliation only made magikarp uneasy.
Magikarp began to flail about the room, knocking over bowls, books, candles, toys, and other items around the house. Angel quickly began to chase after the pokémon , but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t stop magikarp’s rampage. It was more than 10 minutes before Angel finally managed to get the pesky fish back into his bowl.
Angel sighed, knowing that it was finally over. His long ears began to twitch as the sound of hoofsteps entered his ears. He turned to see a shocked Fluttershy.
The scientists quickly ran back to the lab after his encounter with Jenny. Unknown to him, a trickster was watching his every step. The ghost took notice of the scientist entering the lab. A large grin spread acrossed it's face. As it flew to its destination. The trickster began to fly over the town. The creature giggled as he spotted his target.
"I'm not entirely sure about that man. Something just doesn't seem right. What do you think, Growlithe?" Officer Jenny asked her partner as she sipped her drink. Growlithe gave a bark of approval.
The trickster smiled, and reached into his mouth, only to fished out a dog biscuit. The pokemon quickly disappeared, leaving the biscuit to be the only thing seen. The ghost levitated the treat into the vision of the liger pokemon. Growlithe took notice of the treat and chased after it as it levitated to it destination.
"What? Growlithe get back here, bad boy!" Officer Jenny commanded, but Growlithe ignored the command. Officer Jenny, growling in frustration, hopped on her bike and went to find Growlithe. The ghost lead the pokemon to about 10 feet from the laboratory and dropped the bone. A huge white smile showed acrossed the silhouette of the haunting creature. With beginning pleased of his work he flew into the laboratory. Growlithe was panting as he walked up to the fallen treat. When officer Jenny finally caught up, Growlithe was already munching away contentively.
"YOU RAN OFF BECAUSE OF FOOD!?!" Jenny screamed. Officer Jenny's scolding was interrupted by flashing lights and electrical noises coming from within the laboratory. The police officer growled. "I warned him, come on Growlithe!" Jenny said as she raced towards the laboratory.
Inside the lab, the ghost watched the spectacle, before his attention was caught of by the sound of barking. The trickster looked out the window to see Jenny and Growlithe racing towards the laboratory. The ghost quickly made himself known as it flew toward the pod. The trickster's wicked cackle rang through out the room. A scientist saw the creature as it raced towards the pod. "A Gengar?" Was all the scientists could say before the pokemon disappeared with the Magikarp. A loud bang caught the ears of the scientists, as the door flew open to reveal Jenny.
In Equestria

Gengar began to laugh at the sight of what he saw. The pokemon whipped a comical tear from his eye. Gengar looked up to see the moon and the stars. The sight was very lovely to him. All ghost pokemon view the moon as their greatest ally; their immortal friend. He quickly shook the feeling of sadness away. Gengar caught sight of a farm. The pokemon began to laugh and took flight towards the farm.
