Be it ancient menace or new threat, diplomatic snafu or domestic concern, monster attack or friendship problem, Twilight Sparkle and her friends have always risen to the challenge.

That's a bit of an issue this time around, when the challenge is a marked absence of Twilight Sparkle.

This story is a sequel to The Royal Three.

When Atlas, Apollo and Artemis were transported to Equestria by mysterious portal eight months ago, they knew that their lives would never be the same.

And they were right. Now they have great careers, wonderful romantic relationships, and a lot of new friends. They’re also heroes for their actions during the changelings invasion. And their future is looking bright.

What does this new year have in store for them?

(This story takes place in season three and the beginning of season four. This series is inspired by the Hearts of iron four mod Equestria at war and TNO the last days of Europe.)

Soarin is a hunter of Deviants, strange creatures that defy logic and common sense. Crippled with immense debts he has no hopes of paying off and an entity inside him that keeps misbehaving every chance it gets, he takes a chance on a random ticket to the Midnight Train. 

Everything gets worse from there.

Originally written for the Bean's Writing Group prompt "Trying to escape from somewhere/someone". On top of the prompt, and the "using color to convey emotion" bonus, I also tried to write it with only periods.

All he knows is that, failing is not an option, and the present will no longer be the same.

Since before time immemorial, Alicorns have ruled over nearly every country in Equestria save for the griffon kingdom and a few other uncharted locations.

However, when the world needed them most...

They vanished...

Alicorn's soon faded away into myth and legend as hundreds and even thousands of years flew by..

It was at the very end of a long and gruesome war that something miraculous and unprecedented happened:

An Alicorn was born.

Starlight gets in an argument with Rainbow Dash on what qualifies as a Pegasus. This leads her to trying out for the Wonderbolts.

A pony wakes up in Equestria with no memory of their past. As they search for answers, they quickly realize that this world may not be real and that the princess may be hiding a dark secret.
