Ask me if you have any questions about the site. The more detailed you are describing the problem, the better the chances I'll be able to help.

S'okay.
Thanks for the help as usual.
I'll just be content to let it go as one of the mysteries of the universe~

I have no idea, sorry.

Well, do you have any ideas on how did they get to my story from Instagram if I'm not even on there.
Just curious, if you don't, that's perfectly fine.

That's where people are getting linked from. And it doesn't matter to me, I try to respond wherever people contact me.

What do the referrals mean on the statistics page for a fic you've written? There's about 3 or 4 that say they're from Instagram, but I've never even been on that platform.

And if I ever have any future questions about the site, do you prefer them asked here, or as a PM?

XD. Mine was inspired by blackjack, little pip, sweetie bot, Twilight, and such.

Mary Sues needn't be completely flawless. It's fairly common for OCs to have "flaws" that don't actually negatively affect them in any meaningful way.

A regular old earth pony with normal pastel coloring, relatable goals, and a realistic personality can be (and often is) infinitely more interesting than the most unique of all alicorn princesses with a troubled past. I tend to gravitate towards that; characters whose personality, goals, and behaviors are their defining characteristics way before even mentioning how unique and quirky they are in physical appearance.

Not that I can talk too much because I based so much of my own pony OC on a high school obsession with Rick from Casablanca, but still.

Ah. That is what ya mean. Yeah... my oc is always compared to that. It's actually kinda funny because if ya co.pare my oc to the others... I've made it with actual flaws. XD unlike those other ones. Haha. Yeah. I've been told my oc is cliche. Lol. Do you think my oc is cool tho?

Adding tons of quirks to make a character seem unique, especially when there's little precedent for it in the canon, is classic Mary Sue cliché material. People were making fun of the archetypal black-and-red alicorn back in 2012.

Which, I don't bring up just to shame you or anything. I believe it's far more important to write stories you personally can feel proud of than it is to worry about pleasing an audience to the detriment of your own enjoyment. It's just important to be realistic about what you're doing.

Wut do ya mean by Sue-ish?
