This is an Alternative Take on "Snowdrop" by Silly Filly Studios. I do not own the character. This was written in one sitting as a challenge to myself to see what I could come up with. As such, it is not perfect - but I am happy with what I have wrote. I hope it is interesting enough to be worthy of a read.

During her battle with Starlight, Twilight is sent to multiple futures that differ from her own where she and her friends had saved the world from its many threats. But what if she wasn't able to escape from the villain who had taken over the world to get back to her own time? What if she had to fight them again, this time without her friends as she knew them?

Set during the season 5 finale "The Cutie Remark"

The story of Dax and his two young brothers Drake and Hilm, who lost their parents 8 years ago from an attack by an angry mob, forced into a position where they eventually get attacked by everyone they see, they must seek shelter in out of sight places, often stealing to survive, until one night in the woods, the two brothers are kidnapped by Nightmare Moon, forced to do her bidding for the sake of his brothers safety, he's ordered to sabotage the mane 6 in their efforts to stop her...

Her dream is being threatened, a peaceful dream where she could be unemployed and rich simultaneously.

After being summoned by a ridiculously overpowered alicorn, she'll have to fight for that dream to the bitter end. She must return home- away from this magical nonsense and futuristic technology.

But the Empress doesn't seem all morally corrupt and, in fact, treats her populace with kindness and care. She also has an unhealthy obsession with preventing biological disasters and establishing proper quality-of-life laws.

But still, she won't be shaken. She needs this dream more than power, fame, or an alicorn mother figure—wait, what?

On a lonely island in the East Blue, a young man named Spike Drake, barely 12 years old, is spying on a clandestine meeting of aristocrats. Where he discovers that they are keeping one of the biggest secrets in the world, a possible path to the legendary One Piece, that treasure that only the one who would be the king of the pirates can get, can Spike fulfill that dream that every pirate has?

In the modern era, it has become common for foreigners to mock Equestria, seeing the pony nation as weak, naive, unwilling to commit to hard decisions. More belligerent neighbors often view the ponies as easy prey or targets, to have their magic stolen, to be devoured and pillaged, or conquered as a ready supply of slaves.

It was not always thus. In ages past, Equestria was a land of heroes and legends, of darkness and bloodshed. In time, the princesses learned to temper strength with mercy, power with forbearance, and righteous conviction with benevolence.

But now, a thousand years after the younger princess was banished to the moon, the long peace is drawing to a close. Forces both within and without Equestria awaken, seeing a nation weak and easily toppled. Seeing a people grown fat on peace and luxury, who have long forgotten the hardships of war and conflict, or the glory of bloodshed.

Woe betide to all who come to Equestria with ill intent. For in all these long years of peace, the Princess of the Sun has never forgotten the lessons of war, and her eyes watch over her beloved subjects with not only patience and understanding, but an implicit promise of protection.

The time will come soon, when those who would do Celestia's Little Ponies wrong will come to learn... That even an Empire of Mercy is still paved upon the bones of its enemies.

Alternate universe story based on two main principals: First, that Rainbow Dash is taken in as Celestia's student in addition to Twilight. Second, that the threats to Equestria are both larger in magnitude, but also countered by a more competent and militarized Equestria. Also, it will follow my headcanon that alicorn's are gender neutral.

It is also somewhat based on my love of story threads that are disconnected but still intersect. The continuity will not really have a single group of main characters (Though it will start with mostly Rainbow Dash and Celestia), but rather a number of different story threads playing out simultaneously across the world. I have plans for the Mane Six, Celestia, Luna, Spike, Starlight Glimmer, and Scootaloo at the least.

I will be posting every 28 days on saturday, at least for the time being. Story is in present tense, third person. Genre will kinda be all over the place, parts of the story will include the whole spectrum from war story to slice of life to drama to who knows what else.

Applejack stared at the ceiling, her eyes tracing over the gaps and grains of the wooden rafters for what felt like the hundredth time.  Of course she didn’t “enjoy” being forcibly transformed by magic, and in the split-seconds of the magic working over her body, contorting her, dressing her in riding gear and hardening her flesh into fiberglass, she’d been nearly overwhelmed with fear...

...when it was done, however, she’d felt something different...

A slow-burn descent into an unusual place, as Applejack and the CMC become obsessed with being turned into a carousel. May count as psychological and/or body horror, or maybe fetish-fuel, possibly a trans/queer narrative (?), depending on who reads it.

Content Warning: Contains a lot of inanimate-TF fixation. Nothing really "disturbing" about it, but that's what the story is about.

This is a followup to something that happened in the IDW My Little Pony comics, Issue 78, the end of the Cosmos arc, where the image is from. You do not need to read that to understand the plot, as it's just one scene and I explain everything relevant (I haven't read it myself since it came out), though it's a year-end 4-parter with Discord so you should probably read it either way.
