A human get teleported into Equestria! She even looks like a pony! She'll have to convince somepony to believe her!
What happened? I was in bed just a second ago, and now I'm a multi-colored pony?! What has happened to me?! I don't understand. All I want in this world now is a friend...
I was an ordinary 6th grader at Holden Jr. High School (don't look for it, it isn't real), when I got sick in school. Great. Those bullies are going to be all over me again when I came back to school on Monday.
Except I was going for a long ride to an unexpected destination.
When I got home, my mom put me straight to bed. Like always when I get sick, she put a large bottle of water by my bed, an extra pillow, my cell, and some food for later. "Call me if you need anything, sweetheart. ANYTHING!" Mom said. "Yeah, mom, I will. Thanks." "I get it, you're tired, I'll go." She left the room, closed the door then left the house. She was right: I was tired. I barley had enough energy to do anything. So, almost right away, I fell asleep. I had a strange dream. A dreamt about six colorful ponies. I vaguely remembered the dream, so I put it out of my mind. At least, for as long as I could.
Because that dream became a reality.
I woke up, but I wasn't at home, in my stuffy room. I was in a meadow. Was this another dream? It should have been. I wish it was.
But it wasn't.
You know that dream about those six colorful ponies I told you about? The problem?
I was a colorful pony.
Don't believe me? I know exactly what I looked like. I had a pale pink coat, with dark pink hair with white highlights. And I had large wings.
Wait. Wings? I'm a Pegasus? I stood up and started to walk around. It was actually beautiful. The grass was soft and green, bees and butterflies were flying around the good-smelling flowers. I opened my wings. Yep, still large. I started to fly.
I gotta say, flying took some getting used to. At the start, I was running into trees and crashing to the ground. But after a little bit, I got a little used to it. To the point where I didn't crash and burn. I did some flying around, and I came across a city in the sky. A floating city? Made of clouds? How much weirder can this world get?! So I was walking in the town, and I saw a welcome sign."Welcome to CloudsDale, the greatest city in the sky?" I said out loud. That's when I realized: I was standing on clouds. I was prepared to fall to my death, but as soon as I realized I wasn't going to die, I stop panicking. After walking around for a little bit, a pony crashed into me. Hard. I saw what the pony looked like. She had pink eyes, a cyan blue coat, and a rainbow mane and tail. "Heh, heh." the pony said."Sorry about that." She took a close look at me."I've never seen you here before, I'm Rainbow Dash, and you are...?" I looked at a pink crystal heart with wings on my hip, that could make a good name. "My name is.... LoveFly."
I was traveling with my new friend, Rainbow Dash, to the weather factory. She'd promised me she'd give me a tour of CloudsDale if I told her about myself. "So LoveFly, where did you come from anyway?" Rainbow asked me. I couldn't very well tell her that I had come from the human world. She'd never believe that. After all, I'm a friggin' multi-colored pony after all! "Ummm..... I come from......" I saw a sign that said "Canterlot" "I'm from Canterlot!" "Canterlot, huh? My friend Twilight lives there now, being an alicorn and all..." "Alicorn?" I asked. Rainbow looked at me like she'd seen me eat a 5-pound burger in one gulp."You came from Canterlot, not knowing what an alicorn is?!" I had to come up with a story. Fast. "I was a very lonely pony, nobody ever told me about anything when I lived there." Rainbow Dash gave me a serious glare. Judging by that stare, she probably didn't believe me. "My friend FlutterShy has felt that before....." I couldn't believe it. She was buying it!. "Well," said Rainbow,"An alicorn is is a unicorn and a Pegasus together in one pony. As far as I know, only royals are alicorns. "So your friend Twilight is a princess?" "Right." Rainbow said,"We're here!" We walked into the snowflake room. "Be very quiet, it's a very delicate operation." We sneaked around until we got to the rainbow room. "Go ahead, try it!" Rainbow pointed to the rainbow mixture."It tastes a lot better then it used to." I dipped my hoof in the mixture and tasted it. It tasted like sugary strawberries. "Mmmm... it's good!" I said. "You think so, LoveFly?" Rainbow said."See? I told you!"
Rainbow Dash was nicer then I thought! I could tell we were going to be great friends. Maybe even more then friends... Wait. I just said that didn't I? Well it's out in the open now, might as well say it. I think I had special feelings for Rainbow Dash.
So yeah. I think I was falling for Rainbow Dash. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, she was kind and pretty, excluding the fact that she was a little bit show-offy, (this I learned when we were in the fog room, I won't go into much detail, but she sped through the room, I was following close behind.) but she won't let it go to her head. "Rainbow," I said,"Can we go to Canterlot? I remember I have something urgent to tell a royal." "What is it?" "It's top secret" No way I was telling her that I was going to tell a princess about the human world. "Okay," said Rainbow. We left the Weather Factory, and we started to head to Canterlot. I knew Rainbow told me Canterlot was the Equestrian capitol.
But I never imagined it like this.
Canterlot was a grand city. And at the very end of the city, a grand castle stood there. I saw a balcony, and there I saw a large, white pony with flowing hair. "That's princess Celestia." Rainbow said."Twilight was her student." I gazed at the beautiful alicorn. Wait. Alicorn? Rainbow was right: Royals are alicorns. And I swear, before she went into the building, she saw me, flying in the skies of Canterlot. "C,mon LoveFly, you said you had to tell somebody something, right? Well let's go in!" We went into large castle.
And I found out that meeting a princess would be harder then I thought.
Beside's the fact that there were guards everywhere, there was some sort of ball going on. "Oh Celestia." Rainbow said."I forgot about the Grand Galloping Gala." "The Grand Galloping Gala?" I asked. "You don't know a lot about Canterlot do you, LoveFly? Well, the Grand Galloping Gala is a ball held every year in the castle." "Oh." I said. God! I sound like an idiot! "Well, can I meet this Twilight person?" "Sure." Rainbow waved me around other patrons at the gala, until we came to a grinding halt."We're here." Rainbow said. "Can I talk to the princess?" "Sure." Rainbow started toward me to join me. "Sorry, Rainbow." I said. "I need to talk to her alone." I strode up to Twilight. "Ummm hello." she said,"Can I help you?" "Listen, you may or may not believe me, but either way, it's true. I'm from the human world, and I need help getting back" She looked at me with surprise. "A human? How can you be a human? You're a pony, even a pegasus with large wings!" "I know, it seems far-fetched, but it's true you have to believe me. But do you know that Rainbow pony over there?" "Yeah, that's Rainbow Dash! A bpff of mine! "A what?" "Best pony friends forever." "Ohhh..." I said. We both laughed.
Wow, Twilight was really nice! Like Rainbow said. But I think that just made me like Rainbow even more. I was also surprised when I found out that I might have liked Twilight, too. What is happening to me? Well, Celestia called me to a meeting, concerning home. Maybe I was able to go back to the human world. Which is strange, because at this point, with all of my new friends, I didn't want to go back at all.
That's what Princess Celestia said when I told her I didn't want to leave Equestria. "I don't want to leave Equestria. I love it here!" I said, "Everyone has been so nice. True, Rainbow crashed into me when we first met, but that's besides the point." Celestia looked at Twilight, then Rainbow, then back at me. "I suppose you want an explanation." said Celestia. "Wait. What?"
"The truth is..." she said,"You weren't born in the human world. You are Equestrian." Okay. That didn't make any sense whatsoever. "How have I been born in Equestria?" I said,"I've lived in the human world all my life!" "Have you ever wondered why you knew how to fly? How you have your cutie mark?" Celestia asked. "No." I said. "This can't be true!" Tears were starting to well up in my eyes. "I'd understand if you're confused, but this is the truth." Celestia said."When you realize it, you'll be ready for the next hoof of your adventure." And with that, she left for the gala. "Are you okay, LoveFly?" Twilight had asked me. Tears were coming down my face. "No," I said."I'm not." I ran out of the room, going wherever my hoofs would take me.
This was me, like always, being abandoned.
I remembered things. Awful things. Things that happened to me in the human world. "Hey fatso! Get of the swings!" said a boy. "Shut up, nerd!" said a girl. "Hey!" I asked,"Do you want to come to my house for a sleepover?" "Sure!" said a girl. Then she whispered,"Why would I want to go to that fat, ugly, nerd's house? What are you, 7?"
"STOP! Shut up! I don't want to listen to you!"
Then I blacked out.
How long was I gone? Minutes? Hours? Days? How should I know? I don't have a clock. But I was going out of the castle, and into a dark forest. I couldn't bear to see Twilight or Rainbow after what I did. So finally.....
I could cry in silence.
