What if Discord doesn't get reformed? What if the mane six die? Who will wield the Elements of Harmony? Only three little blank flanks that's who!
When Discord is released to be reformed, Fluttershy fails and Discord escapes. The Elements of Harmony have been lost and the mane six are of no use. Who can save Equestria? I guess it's time for saving the day cutie marks. CMC goes on their biggest adventure yet to defeat the king of chaos, Discord!
It happened all in a blur. Discord froze over Sweet Apple Acres. Granny Smith and I were trapped in an apple bucket. Fluttershy had promised not to use her element of kindness against Discord. I was confused. Was she bluffing? Would Discord change everything back? Apparently not, he grabbed her element and broke it with his claws. Twilight stepped forward.
"Fix it Discord!" she yelled into his face. Discord simply smacked the mare across the ice. The most fear I've felt in my life came to me when Discord grabbed Applejack.
"NO!" I screamed. Granny Smith tried to comfort me but it didn't help. Discord plucked the element of honesty off of Applejack. He then took Applejack and threw her through the ice. Tears were flowing down my face. Big Macintosh stood out of his apple bucket.
"Not my sister..." he said. Before I could comprehend anything, Big Mac charged at Discord. But, by the snap of his fingers Big Mac shrunk into a tiny little foal. By now, Applejack's limp body had floated up and I was crying even harder.
Discord had the creepiest laugh as he collected all the elements from the mares. He flew off into the night that was now switching to day every six minutes. I looked at all of the mares in horror. Basically, they were now either dead or close to it. I knew that I couldn't save Applejack. I had to grow up. I stood up out of the bucket and wiped my tears. I ran over to Big Mac.
"Big Mac! Are you okay?" I asked still crying a bit.
"A-yup!" he replied in a squeaky little voice.
"What now?" I asked.
"Now, we bury Applejack." Granny Smith said from behind me. She had slowly walked over from the apple bucket. For some reason that didn't seem right to me.
"NO!" I screamed. "We need to stop Discord!"
Granny Smith walked over to me and stuck her tear stained face into mine.
"We're going to bury your sister!" she said getting angry at me.
I walked over by the hole near where Discord had been standing. I untied my bow and brushed the pieces of the kindness element into it.
"What're you do-" Granny Smith started.
"I'm going to defeat Discord." I replied picking up the bow making sure none of the pieces fell out and started to walk off.
"Applebloom!" Granny Smith yelled. I ignored her she couldn't catch up to me.
"Applebloom!" a squeaky little voice said. Big Mac had run up behind me and was now in front of me looking me in the eyes. "Go get 'em" he said.
I nuzzled my cheek against his forcing myself not to cry. I then walked past him. Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo needed to come too because together the Cutie Mark Crusaders couldn't fail! I trotted off toward the treehouse. As I got closer I could tell they were there. I went a little faster careful not to lose any shards of the element. I trotted up and nudged open the door.
"Applebloom," Sweetiebelle said, "what's going on outside?"
"Mmmfdikrd." I replied.
"Uhm? Applebloom... maybe you could take your bow out of your mouth and say that again?" Scootaloo said.
I dropped the bow and said again, "It's Discord!"
"Discord!?" they both said in unison.
"Isn't he getting reformed?" Sweetie asked.
"Well, obviously not anymore..." Scootaloo replied.
"Girls! We have to defeat Discord!" I butted in.
"Are you insane, Applebloom!?" Scootaloo screamed.
"Even if we could how would we defeat him?" Sweetie said agreeing with Scootaloo.
"With these!" I exclaimed. I opened up my bow and revealed the shattered kindness element.
"Uhm... Applebloom, you realize it's broken and we can't use it right?" Scootaloo said. "Did you forget to take your pills today or somethin' cause you are crazy!"
"Don't talk to her like she's stupid!" Sweetie said. Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle started arguing but, after Sweetiebelle had defended me the element shards started to glow.
"Uh, girls?" I started. The shards were now starting to levitate.
"Hold on Applebloom." Scootaloo said then went back to arguing. The shards were now reforming the element.
"Girls!" I repeated. The element was now taking its shape back.
"Hold on!" Sweetiebelle yelled. The element was now in its original form and was floating towards Sweetie.
"GIRLS!" I yelled. The girls both looked at me then at the element which was now attaching itself on to Sweetiebelle's neck.
"What is it doing?!" Sweetie screamed.
"I think when you were kind and stuck up for me the element saw the kindness and chose you as the new pony to use it!" I exclaimed.
"I want an element! Where are the rest?!" Scootaloo said in excitement.
"Well... Discord has them..." I said. "That's why we have to stop him... We need the elements back!"
"Well, what about Rarity and the others?" Sweetie asked me.
"Yeah... about that..." I went on to tell them what happened to each pony. Scootaloo had gotten a barf bag after I talked about Rainbowdash and Sweetie was crying a river when Rarity came into the story.
"I'm so sorry Sweetie..." I said.
"I know. There was nothing you could do..." Sweetie started wiping her tears.
"So, now what?" Scootaloo asked.
"I think Discord went off towards Canterlot. Let's pack our stuff girls!" I said.
"Wait. Who said that I agreed on doing this?" Scootaloo said.
"Don't you want you own element?" I asked.
"Touche..." Scootaloo replied.
"What does touche mean? Where did you learn that?" Sweetie asked.
"I learned it at school! Miss Cheerilee taught me it! And I don't really remember what it me-" Scootaloo started.
"This is stupid! We've been talking for like half the chapter now! Let's just get on with it! The readers are probably bored by now!" I shouted.
"Bu-"
"NO! CANTERLOT NOW!" I yelled while pointing my hoof at the door to the clubhouse.
So the girls eventually got everything they would need like, you know... clothes, food, Scootaloo's scooter... etc. So they trotted over to the train station and payed for their tickets to Canterlot. They waited for the train to pull up but, it was WAY off schedule. Apparently, Discord had made it like super slow or something. A huge crowd of ponies filed off of the train. After all the ponies got out of the way, they got onto the train and sat down. They were all silent until Sweetie broke the silence.
"So uh, what's our battle plan?" she asked.
I pondered on the thought and replied, "Well, me and Scootaloo need elements too if we're going to beat Discord."
"Yeah!" Scootaloo said, "I really want Rainbowdash's element! She's so awesome!"
All of a sudden the engine started, but it wasn't slow like the trip to Ponyville. This was fast. I mean like, faster than Rainbowdash fast (if thats even possible). The girls were getting pushed back into their seats because of the force.
Finally, the train stopped in Canterlot after about a 10 second trip. The force of the stop was so hard that the girls flew into the seat in front of them.
"Ouch..." I said rubbing my face.
We grabbed our supplies and got off the train. This is when I realized something strange.
"Were we the only ones on there?" I asked the two other girls.
"What are you girls doing here?" a voice boomed. We looked towards the voice in surprise. Princess Luna was glaring at us.
I smiled awkwardly, "We're uh, helping with bags?"
"Uh, yeah! These elderly ponies can't carry bags all by themselves! We're loading th-" Scootaloo started.
"Silence!" Luna said in her Equetsrian voice.
"Why am I always the one getting cut off..." Scootaloo muttered.
"Canterlot is being evacuated! Now go back to Ponyville while Celestia handles the situation." Luna said.
"Bu-" Sweetie started.
"Ha! I'm not the only one!" Scootaloo laughed.
"NO ‘BUTS’ BACK TO PO-" Luna started. She was about to finish her sentence when out of nowhere flew Celestia. She wasn't really flying though. It was as if she got smacked. Well anyway, she got smacked into the train which is now in wreckage on one side of the tracks.
Sweetie walked up to Luna. "So, wanna tell us where the rest of these are?" she said indicating her element of kindness.
"Come fillies! I shall show you!" Luna said while using her magic to lift them up onto her back. She then proceeded to fly off towards the castle.
A bunch of the windows were like broken and stuff. Probably Discord's doing. The towers on the castle were also looped randomly around. Luna flew into one of the broken windows and landed.
"Head to the throne room if you want to find the elements and Discord," Luna said, "good luck young fillies!"
She flew off back towards the train station to help all the panicked ponies.
"So, let's go kick some Discord butt!" Scootaloo said excitedly.
"We need to get our own elements first Scootaloo!" I said.
"Right..." she replied.
"How are you two gonna get them?" Sweetie asked.
"Take them by force?" Scootaloo suggested
"I guess it's our only option." I said.
We ran down the winding halls trying to find the throne room. It was no use we never found it and now that I'm thinking about this, didn't we pass that painting already?
"Uh, weren't we already here?" I asked.
"Yes you were." said the voice that destroyed my sister.
I looked behind us but there was no one there. I looked back at the girls and they were gone.
"Welcome to my little challenge for you Applebloom." Discord went on. "If you pass this challenge I will let you use the element of generosity."
"What do I need to do?" I asked frightened.
"All you need to do is find your friends. Easy enough right?" he replied.
"What's the catch?" I asked suspiciously.
"The catch? Oh, right! The catch is that I used my magic on the castle and that it's a never ending maze!"
His voice faded away and I was alone. All alone. I needed to find Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo! I ran down the hall. I turned corners all sorts of ways in no real direction. Then I heard the screams. The screams of Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo. I ran towards the screams. The halls I ran through now were covered in paintings and mirrors. Then the screams were really loud when I came to this giant mirror that covered a whole wall. There were no doors nearby so I ran to the closest one and opened it. Nothing.
I ran back to the mirror and looked around. There MUST be a trick to this. There was nothing. Nothing but the mirror. I cried. It was over. Why did we even come here in the first place? We wouldn't have won anyway... I got mad and bucked the mirror. The glass fell around me and revealed the throne room. The glass was a lie.
"Good job little Applebloom..." said Discord smiling villainously on Celestia's throne. A plucked Rarity's element off one of his claws and tossed it into the middle of the room. "It's yours."
"Where are Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo?" I asked.
He pointed up. I followed where he was pointing and saw Sweetie and Scootaloo stuck to the ceiling by some goo.
"Let them go!" I yelled.
"Make me." he replied taunting me.
I ran towards the element of generosity. I tried to put it on but it wouldn't work. I started to cry again.
"Come on work!" I screamed at it. At that moment a vision flashed into my mind.
Rarity was standing in front of me.
"Applebloom," she said, "are you ready for this? Only I can allow you to use this in my place."
"I am ready! I need to save Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo!" I told her.
"I know. Before I allow you to use this I need to tell you how to use its power. To use the element you need to focus on it. Focus really hard!"
"Okay, Rarity. Thank you."
"Your welcome. Now go save my sister!"
I flashed back to reality and as I did I realized the element was now on my neck. Now was my chance. I looked at the stuff that stuck Sweetie and Scootaloo on the ceiling. I focused on generosity and a beam of energy destroyed the substance. Sweetie and Scootaloo fell.
"NONONONONONONONONONO!!!!!!!" Scootaloo yelled trying to fly.
I looked at them and yet again focused. This time they were surrounded in a sphere of energy and brought down safely to the ground. I looked at Discord who was astonished at the turn of events.
"How did... IMPOSSIBLE!" he yelled.
"Hahahahahahaha! Foiled your plans didn't we?" Sweetiebelle said.
Discord's faced turned red in anger and zapped me. I fell to the ground.
"Concentrate on your element and blast him!" I said.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Discord tried to say.
Sweetie and Scootaloo stood on either side of me as we concentrated. Soon we were lifted up off the ground and rainbows connected our elements.
"Not again..." Discord said.
A beam of energy shot from each of our elements and blasted Discord. There was a giant explosion of fire and debris. After the smoked cleared I saw the Discord sprawled out on the ground with the other three elements lying next to him.
He stood up. "You may have defeated me this time little fillies but not next time." He told us and with that he flew out through a broken window and into the mountains.
Princess Celestia came back just after that as we were doing our victory dance.
"Wheres Discord?" she asked us.
"We defeated him!" I said excitedly. She smiled approvingly at us. “Good work fillies. Today you are Equestria’s heroes!” She walked us through the castle’s main entrance and outside. The alicorn was in front of us blocking our sight of what was there. She stepped aside and said, “Canterlot here are your saviors!” A crowd of Canterlot ponies cheered and we smiled. “Now I’M 20% cooler!” Scootaloo said doing a quick backflip and trying to hog the attention.
“Wait, did we get our cutie marks!?” Sweetiebelle asked excitedly.
We all looked by saw nothing other than our blank flanks.
“Your work isn’t done yet, fillies.” Celestia said. The crowd silenced and listened.
“What do’ya mean?” I asked.
“Discord isn’t turned into stone or killed.” She replied. “He will be back and you must be ready to defeat him. He will come back stronger than ever before.”
“Princess,” I started “you can count on The Cutie Mark Crusaders to save the day!”
She smiled. “Isn’t time for you fillies to head back home?”
“I guess...” Scootaloo said.
“But, I wanna stay!” Sweetiebelle screamed.
“I’m guessing it’s past your bedtime.” Celestia said.
Luna was in the crowd and she walked up and used her magic on Sweetiebelle to put her to sleep. We were then taken to the train back to Ponyville. As we got on the train, dragging the asleep Sweetiebelle, Luna gave me a sharpie then skipped away giggling. I knew what she meant with that.
As the train left Canterlot station, Scootaloo and I laid Sweetiebelle down and started drawing on her. The train chugged off into the sunset. “Oh well isn’t this a happy ending? I’ll be back!” yelled Discord. “And I won’t be alone this time...”
He laughed and a female voice joined him in villainous laughter.
The class clapped their hooves as I walked back to my seat but, one hoof was raised in the air for a question.
"What is it Diamond Tiara?" Mrs. Cheerilee asked.
"I thought these were supposed to be true stories." She said laughing with Silver Spoon.
"It is true!" Applebloom said sticking up for me.
"I didn't think blank flanks could use the Elements of Harmony. Especially since they don't have the right talents to use them." Silver Spoon added to Diamond Tiara's arguement.
I was getting furious that those two were always picking on me. Then, an idea came into my head. I reached into my desk and pulled out the element of kindness.
"Mrs. Cheerilee! I forgot a demonstration that goes with my story." I told the teacher.
She ushered me up to the front of the class and I trotted up excitedly.
"Now then, since somepony doesn't believe me," I said putting on the element of kindness "this is how you use it."
I concentrated on kindness and swirls of rainbow appeared from the element and circled around me. I started levitating and Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's mouth's dropped.
"Wow, Sweetiebelle that's amazing!" Mrs. Cheerilee told me. "But, let's get on to the next presentation."
I let myself fall to the ground and went back to my seat.
Later, when school had ended Scootaloo came home with me. We were gonna have a sleepover. We had eaten dinner and were in bed asleep. I rolled over and touched the element of kindness and my dream was altered.
"Sweetiebelle! Your back!" a voice called. "It's so lonely in here I wish Angel Bunny was here..."
"What?" I said in surprise. "Fluttershy!? I was dreaming about my cutie mark! I almost saw it!"
"Oh! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... eep!" Fluttershy said embarrassed.
"It's okay Fluttershy. So what do you need?" I asked.
"Go to Twilight's library. Spike... uhm... has a letter for you... about... Discord." She replied hesitantly.
"What?" I asked. "Discord's back!?"
She didn't answer she started to fade away.
"Fluttershy! Wait!" I yelled to her.
"Beware of Chr..." I heard her say before she completely went out of view.
I woke up right after the dream. It's weird I'd been having visions and dreams of Fluttershy ever since I got her element. I wonder if Scootaloo and Applebloom have been having the same. I sat up in bed and yawned. I looked over at Scootaloo who slept on the floor in a sleeping bag. She was awake too.
"Hey Sweetie... I was thinking we should visit Spike today. He might be lonely without Twilight..." She told me.
"What?" I said in surprise. How did she know?
"Well..." she said rubbing the back of her head awkwardly. "I know this will sound weird but, I've had dreams of Pinkie Pie ever since I got her element. Tonight she told me to go see Spike. Is that weird?"
I stared at her. I wasn't the only one! "It's not weird. Fluttershy told me the same thing." I told her.
We ate breakfast then went to Sweet Apple Acres to get Applebloom. We had taken Scootaloo's Scooter. I was riding in the wagon behind it.
"Hey! Applebloom! Hop in! We're going to the Library to see Spike!" Scootaloo said when she pulled up.
She hopped in and said, "So, you guys had the same dream too, huh?"
I just looked at her and nodded as Scootaloo drove us to the Library. When we arrived Applebloom and I hopped out of the wagon and Scootaloo followed us after she took off her helmet. We opened the door and looked around. No Spike.
"Spike?" I called.
"What!" I heard in reply and Spike sleepily walked down the stairs. "Oh! Good! I got a letter from Princess Celestia for you guys!"
He handed over the letter with the royal seal on it. Applebloom read it out loud:
Dear Cutie Mark Crusaders,
Discord has returned to Canterlot. We need you here as quickly as you can! Luna and I have tried to hold him back this time but, he has taken over the castle yet again. There is something strange going on in Manehattan that I also need you to check out. Once you recieve this letter tell Spike to send it back and I'll teleport you here to Canterlot.
Yours truly,
Princess Celestia
"Quick Spike send it back!" Applebloom said when she was done reading it out loud.
"Got it!" he took the letter and sent it back using his dragon fire.
We stood there waiting for a minute. Two minutes. Three minutes. Four minutes. What's going on?, I thought.
"Shouldn't we be in Canterlot?" I asked.
Everyone just sat there. No movement. I poked Scootaloo. Nothing. Then, it happened. The scene around me started to melt away. Was the spell working now? Was this what it looked like from my eyes only? Soon Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Spike had melted away. The scene before me now was complete white. Like in my dreams with Fluttershy! Was I there now? I turned around in a circle. Nothing. Alone. I was all alone. The same feeling I had when Applebloom told me about Rarity. Whenever I think about it comes to me as clear as I was there.
Discord grabbed Rarity in his paw.
"Little Rarity, so generous... and yet so self-centered." He said maliciously.
Rarity's horn glowed and her magic took Discord's tail then flipped him over, releasing Rarity.
"You think you can pick on my friends? You've crossed the line when you touch them!" Rarity yelled.
Discord snapped his fingers and Rarity's horn was gone. He stood up and grabbed her while she was confused.
"You think your smart? You think your tricky?" He asked her while plucking the element of generosity from her neck. "I am the king of chaos! The true trickster! And now for my next act... I shall saw Rarity in half!"
"What!" She screamed in horror.
With a snap of his fingers Discord put Rarity in to one of those magic saw boxes. He was now wearing a tuxedo and holding a giant saw.
"Now for the main event!" He called out.
The blade touched the box. Discord smiled. Rarity screamed and cried. The saw started cutting. Back and forth. Back and forth. Getting closer to Rarity's flesh. Discord's eyes lit up when the blade touched it. He cut faster. Blood spewed out everywhere. Splattering Discord's tuxedo and on the snow and ice around the box. Rarity's scream got weaker as Discord cut her lungs. Finally, the blade made it out the other side of the box.
"Ta-da!" Discord said pushing the two sides apart.
Rarity's insides showed. Some of her intestines fell out. The crimson liquid stained anything it touched as it spewed out of her.
I threw up in my mouth a little. I swallowed it back up and started to wipe my tears away.
"Um... Sweetiebelle? I know now might not be the best time... but, I need to talk to you." the same shy voice from my dream said.
"Fluttershy!" I galloped over and hugged her.
"Oh!" She said. "Oh your thinking about Rarity... She's fine Sweetiebelle... She's with Applebloom!"
"I know. It's just... I miss her." I told Fluttershy.
"Sweetiebelle! Now's not the time to cry! We need you!" A new voice said.
I turned around and saw a purple blotch through the tears. I wiped them away to see Twilight Sparkle!
"Twilight?!" I said confused.
"Yes, it's me. Now we don't have much time. I'm sending you to Manehattan with Spike. Scootaloo and Applebloom are going to Canterlot to defeat Discord. You know that there's a mysterious force in Manehattan, you need to check it out and defeat it! We're counting on you Sweetiebelle! You will also be able to use my element of harmony when you arrive!" She told me.
"Wait, do you know what the mysterious force is?" I asked.
"It's Chr-" Fluttershy started to say.
"No idea." Twilight said cutting her off. "We can't talk anymore Sweetie. It's time."
I blinked but, when I opened my eyes the white room with Fluttershy and Twilight was gone. The element of kindness around my neck and the element of magic on my head. And the brick roads of Manehattan lay in front of me.
"Woah..." I heard someone say.
That's when I noticed this pressure on my back.
"Spike?" I asked.
"What?" he replied.
"Where are we?"
"Manehattan, didn't Twilight tell you."
"She did but, something doesn't seem right."
"Maybe it's the black clouds swirling around the Empire Stable Building." he suggested.
Sure enough there were black clouds swirling around it. Something was different about them though.
"Let's go Spike!" I yelled and started to gallop.
There were crowds of ponies running past us and crowds of pegasi flying away above us. As we got closer to the Empire Stable Building it's looming shadow over us scared me more than the black clouds. Something was definitely wrong here. The doors were wide open with ponies filing out of the building. I pushed myself through them. I looked around and saw an elevator. I galloped over and pressed the button and waited.
DING! The doors opened and ponies piled out. I got in. I looked at the buttons and tried to push the top floor button but, it was too high. Spike pushed it and smiled down at me. The doors closed and we waited.
"This elevator music sucks." Spike said breaking the silence.
I looked up at him.
"What? It does!"
The doors opened. I stepped out and looked around. I saw a sign that read, "STAIRS". I ran over to it and pushed open the door. There were stairs going down and stairs going up with a chain blocking the way. A sign on the chain said, "ROOF". So, I ducked under the chain and galloped up the stairs. I pushed open the last door.
Apparently, when I was running to the building I didn't notice that the giant antenna was gone...
A black figure turned and looked at me. It had hole in it's legs and it's horn. Don't even get me started on the disgusting mane style.
"Well well well... a filly?" It said. "This city's savior is a filly?!"
She laughed. "I Queen Chrysalis accept your challenge!"
"Chrysalis..." I said under my breath.
She smiled and morphed into me. "I'm a filly here to beat Chrysalis!"
She morphed back. "No! I'm so frightened!" She laughed at me.
"The name is Sweetiebelle..." I said.
"OOOOO... Sweetiebelle! So terrifying.!" She said mockingly.
I concentrated on my magic and my kindness. Rainbows flowed around me almost instantly.
"Woah!" Spike said hopping off my back.
I levitated off he ground.
"Wait! The elements of harmony! Your one of the fillies Discord warned me about! I'll destroy you!" She yelled at me but, it was too late.
I blasted her with a beam of rainbow. She flew off the edge of the building.
"Well that was quick." I said turning around smiling.
There was laughter behind me. "You think you can defeat me that easily?"
I spun around. Chrysalis was standing there her horn glowing.
"Goodbye, Sweetiebelle!" She yelled. Her horn glowed brighter.
I closed my eyes. I failed. I can't believe this is how it ends.
Then, out of know where I hear a young Manehattan accent scream, "BUCK OFF OF MY FRIEND!"
I heard Chrysalis's scream disappear slowly. I opened my eyes and saw an orange filly with no cutie mark.
"Babs!" I called out to her!
"Sweetiebelle!" She said back to me. "Good thing I got here when I did or you'd be toast... literally."
She ran over and gave me a brohoof. We started to celebrate her victory.
"Don't celebrate just yet..." The same evil voice said.
"OH COME ON!" I yelled to no one specifically.
Chrysalis laughed. "This battle is a joke! Your weak just like your sister!"
"What?" I said.
"Your weak just like your sister!" She repeated.
"I am not weak. I am a regular magical unicorn." I said then blacked out.
"Um... Sweetiebelle? You all right?" I heard Spike say.
I opened my eyes and my vision slowly came back. Spike, Scootaloo, Applebloom, Babs, and Princess Celestia stood around me. I sat up. I was no longer on top of the Empire Stable Building. I was near the ruins of it.
"Ugh... what happened?" I asked.
"Um... I don't really know how to explain it." Babs told me.
"It doesn't matter. Chrysalis has been defeated as well as Discord." Celestia said.
I looked around and saw the bloody shredded body of Chrysalis.
"You've down well yet again Cutie Mark Crusaders and I yet again thank you." Celestia went on to say.
We were later transported back to Ponyville after a thankyou ceremony in Manehattan. It was time for me to go to bed. I crawled in after dinner. I closed my eyes and dreamt. In my sleep I smiled and Rarity smiled back.
I woke up to my alarm clock ringing in my ear. I stopped the ringing then looked at the time. The clock read 10:36 AM. I was late for the Manehattan Cutie Mark Crusaders meeting! The leader can't be late!
I threw the blankets off me and ran out of my bedroom. I lived in an apartment with my parents. I was an only child. I started to open the door and head out when I heard my mom call me.
"Babs! Come and eat before you go out and play!" She told me.
"But, mom I have a Cutie Mark Crusada's meetin' to go to!" I said.
She gave me the stare. I knew I should go eat. I walked over and ate my cereal. When I was done I put my dishes in the sink. I looked at the clock. It read 10:46. 10 minutes had gone by! I really had to go! I headed for the door again.
"Babs! Aren't you forgetting something?" My mom asked.
"I have to brush my teeth..." I whined.
I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. When I was done I walked out and asked my mom, "Anything else?!"
"No, but missy you don't get to talk to me like th-" I never heard the rest, I was already headed to the meeting once I heard "no".
The streets in Manehattan were busy, as usual, as I galloped down to our meeting place. I turned down an alley and splashed a water from a puddle everywhere. I stopped galloping and nudged open the door to the abandoned apartment building. This is where we held our meetings.
"Babs! Your late!" said a red colt in the corner.
"Yeah! C'mon Babsy! Your always late..." said a gray colt.
"C'mon fellas! I'm still here ain't I?" I said.
"Whatever... let's get on with it! I'm diein' to go out and get cutie marks!" The gray colt replied.
"It's alright, Shadow. I knows what we're doin' today! We are gonna go crime fightin'!" I told them.
"Uh, Babs isn't that a little too dangerous?" The red colt asked.
"Naw. It'll be fine we'll just do small crimes, Hammy!" I replied.
Just then the door opened to the apartment and a gray colt walked in. "Sorry I'm late guys."
"Shadow!?" Hammy exclaimed "What's goin' on here?!"
I looked back and forth at both Shadows. They looked exactly the same.
"Wait a minute! Which one is real?" I asked.
Just then, the Shadow that was here when I arrived was changing. His skin tore off in small pieces as green flames erupted from inside of him. I stepped back as this Shadow changed into a...
"Changeling!?" Hammy yelled.
The changeling spat at us and flew out of the apartment building. I chased after it. As I opened the door to the outside I saw as it flew up into the sky, gathering with other changelings that were circleing around the Empire Stable Building.
"Umm... Babs? I'm gonna go home..." Hammy said running past me.
"Me too!" Shadow said agreeing with Hammy.
This isn't happening. It's not real. I rubbed my eyes with my hooves. It's real but, what do I do now?
"I gotta figure out what's going on!" I said out loud.
I galloped to the Empire Stable Building. There was a lot of ground to cover from the apartment to there but, I can make it. Ponies were running everywhere screaming in pure terror. I kept my face calm and ran. As soon as I reached the building I ran in. I trotted over to the elevator and took it up to the top floor. I stepped out and looked around. Stairs. Great. I took the stairs up and opened the door. A huge changeling stood there not facing me. I quietly walked out and got off the platform she was on.
What is that thing!? I thought.
I watched it for a few minutes when the door burst open. It was Sweetie Belle! The changeling turned around and confronted her.
"Well well well... a filly?" It said. "This city's savior is a filly?!"
She laughed. "I Queen Chrysalis accept your challenge!"
Sweetie Belle mumbled something I couldn't make out..
Chrysalis smiled and morphed into her. "I'm a filly here to beat Chrysalis!"
She morphed back. "No! I'm so frightened!" She laughed at her.
"The name is Sweetie Belle..." Sweetie Belle said.
"OOOOO... Sweetie Belle! So terrifying.!" Chrysalis said mockingly.
Sweetie Belle closed her eyes tight. What is she doing!?, I thought
"Woah!" Spike said hopping off of her back.
She levitated off the ground.
"Wait! The elements of harmony! Your one of the fillies Discord warned me about! I'll destroy you!" Chrysalis yelled at Sweetie but, it was too late.
Chrysalis was blasted off of the building with a beam of rainbows. I stared at Sweetie Belle. What was that?
"Well that was quick." She said turning around smiling.
There was laughter on the other side if the platform again. "You think you can defeat me that easily?"
Sweetie Belle spun around. Chrysalis was standing there her horn glowing.
"Goodbye, Sweetiebelle!" She yelled. Her horn glowed brighter.
I can't let Sweetie Belle lose! I galloped on to the platform and over to Chrysalis.
"BUCK OFF OF MY FRIEND!" I yelled at Chrysalis.
I heard Chrysalis's scream disappear slowly. I looked over at Sweetie Belle and she looked at me.
"Babs!" Sweetie called out to me galloping over.
"Sweetie Belle!" I called out to her. "Good thing I got here when I did or you'd be toast... literally."
I galloped over and gave her a brohoof. We started to celebrate the victory.
"Don't celebrate just yet..." The same evil voice said.
"OH COME ON!" Sweetie yelled to no one specifically.
Chrysalis laughed. "This battle is a joke! Your weak just like your sister!"
"What?" Sweetie said.
"Your weak just like your sister!" She repeated.
"I am not weak. I am a regular magical unicorn." Sweetie Belle said then a burst of energy came out of her.
Her mane spiked out and she smiled showing razor sharp teeth. Spike cowered near the door. The elements of harmony flew into the air. I caught both of them.
"So, you have summoned Thrakerzod?" Sweetie asked.
"Who is Thrakerzod?" Chrysalis asked.
"I am." Thrakerzod replied. "I am demon reborn as this filly. I have been hibernating, letting the filly live out some of her life."
"A demon, eh?" Chrysalis said. "Then, let me see your true power."
"As you wish." Thrakerzod said. Her horn glowed with it's energy bigger than the horn itself. The energy shot at Chrysalis stunning her. Thrakerzod then ran at her teeth bared.
Chrysalis smashed Thrakerzod with her hoof. Thrakerzod fell back a couple feet. She stood up and charged at Chrysalis again. This time when Chrysalis went to kick Thrakerzod, Thrakerzod jumped onto Chrysalis's leg and galloped over to her neck and bit. HARD. Chrysalis wailed. She stumbled backwards while Thrakerzod bit and hooved her.
Chrysalis was forced to the edge of the building.
"You cannot defeat me!" She yelled.
"Then let us see of that is true." Thrakerzod said pushing Chrysalis off of the building.
I ran over to the edge to watch as Chrysalis tried to fly up but, Thrakerzod used her magic to break Chrysalis's wings. They plummeted into the ground and somehow there was an explosion. Maybe there was magic involved? Who cares it was a pretty sweet explosion!
I ran down the building with Spike. We exited the building as a massive portal appeared.
"Okay, how can this day get any weirder?" I asked out loud.
Celestia, Applebloom, and Scootaloo exited the portal.
"Okay that's fine." I said.
I galloped over to Sweetie Belle's body showing it to the others.
"Sweetie Belle, you all right?" Spike asked.
"Ugh... what happened?" Sweetie asked.
"Um... I don't really know how to explain it." I told her.
"It doesn't matter. Chrysalis has been defeated as well as Discord." Celestia said.
Sweetie looked around and saw the bloody shredded body of Chrysalis. Her eyes popped out of her head.
"You've down well yet again Cutie Mark Crusaders and I yet again thank you." Celestia went on to say.
There was a thankyou ceremony for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I was in it! Celestia teleported the others home to Ponyville and I started to walk home. Celestia stopped me.
"Thrakerzod?" she asked me.
"Yes." I replied.
"Then it has begun..." Celestia said walking through her own portal.
