Ever wondered why Cozy Glow is an evil filly? My sister brought it to my attention that she might only be wanting a home. I mean, we never see her parents in the series, so she's been alone.
Being alone with everypony staring at you is bound to drive somepony into madness.
But when Tirek comes by one day, her life starts to change in ways that shape how she is today.
Cozy Glow was taking a stroll one morning when she noticed ponies looking at her as she passed by.

Cozy Glow, just a lonely little pegasus filly, sat on the steps of a nearby orphanage after a long walk. She noticed ponies passing by, who ignore her. This gets her very angry. Cozy Glow stood up abruptly and stormed towards the middle of Ponyville. "YOU EITHER FREEZE IN YOUR SPOTS OR YOU WILL DIE! " she shouted, "Go ahead. Make your choice. I'm waiting!"
But in response, the Ponyville citizens just laughed at her. "What can you do? You're a filly."
"Oh, I'll show you, you... you...!" said Cozy Glow, "Ugh, never mind!" She trotted right up to everypony with a menacing look on her face. "MOCK ME AGAIN AND YOU WIMPS WILL GET WHAT YOU UTMOST DESERVE!"
Cozy Glow sighed.

It was now night and once again Cozy Glow found herself sitting on the steps of the orphanage, wondering if they would ever take an angelic demon like her in.
Hours passed and Cozy Glow swore she saw a pony trotting towards her with only the light of the lampposts. As soon as he approached Cozy Glow, she was surprised at how nice he was. She wondered why he was there. She thought everypony despised her, thought she was a monster. Hopefully this pony thought different.
Cozy Glow hid her head in her hooves, afraid to take the pony's hoof.
"Do you want a home or not, little girl?" he said, "Everypony rejected you and neglected you. You deserve better than that. You deserve it home. You either take my hoof or you con life on the streets of Ponyville. Your choice."
Cozy Glow looked up and realised that this was not a pony at all. Confused and still questioning his trustworthiness, Cozy Glow watched his movements carefully as he kept his hoof extended for her to grab it.
Persisting, he ordered Cozy Glow to grab his hoof.
"What do you want and what would happen if I were to come with you?" Cozy Glow demanded.
With no answer, she lashed out, trying to steal his magic.
"I wouldn't do if I were you," he said.
"Why not? Are you seriously afraid of me?" Cozy Glow asked menacingly.
"No. Not that. I have the same ability, so it doesn't work on me," he replied.
"Well, golly, you could've just told me that before!" Cozy Glow said with an attitude.
He clutched her hoof and they whisked away to Grogar's hideout, where he, Queen Chrysalis,Grogar and soon her inhabited.
As soon as they arrived, it was considerably late, 0:00 to be exact.
Morning came and Cozy Glow examined her new surroundings in her bed.
"Well, good morning," Tirek said.
"Who are you and why am I here? Stupid kidnapper! Shouldn't have followed your advice, huh," Cozy Glow said, "You better feel so stupid right now. Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but you are."
"I'm Tirek. Lord Tirek," Tirek replied, "I saw a filly who had potential that was quite useful to me, so I was like what the hay. I took you in 'cause you seemed lonely and looked like you needed somewhere to live."
Cozy Glow gritted her teeth. "And how do you suppose you found out that I was homeless? Or did you just assume that like everypony else in this wretched Equestria? I might as well have you killed if I oughta!"
Tirek sighed and pulled her aside. "I'll tell you if only you should listen," he said.
"Who do you think I am? I'm not used to be listened to myself, so why would I tend to listen to you?" Cozy Glow asked.
"You drive a hard bargain, um...," Tirek said.
"It's Cozy Glow. And I'm so glad you agreed to this little deal. As a present for finally hearing my story, I'll hear what you have to tell me," she said, "I mean, it's the worst I could do. You literally rescued me, but you're no hero. I see the menacing look in your eye that draws me towards you like some kind of sinister father-daughter bond. But proceed."
Tirek held Cozy Glow close as he told her the story of how he found her and how he had made the choice to bring her home.
Cozy Glow's heart warmed, smiling. "This sure is a start. So, whaddya suppose I call you, eh, Tirek? We have the same powers, isn't it practically possible that this is destiny?"
"I don't know about destiny, Cozy Glow. You know as much as I do that that's a bit of a stretch," Tirek replied, "Oh, and call me Father Tirek."
"Sounds legit enough," said Cozy Glow, "I'll take it."
She didn't know what to think over the course of the next few days. In just one night, she had gotten a luxury villainous bedroom that she adored with all her evil heart.
Maybe it was the home she'd always dreamed of. Cozy Glow didn't quite know for sure yet.
Tirek cantered into Cozy Glow's room at 10:30 (P.M. is 22:30). "It's time to wake up, dear Cozy Glow," he said through the door.
"Why is that, Father Tirek?" Cozy Glow said, "This better not be another one of your pranks."
"Oh, no, no, no," Tirek replied, "I am very serious. I have my serious face on this morning. Come on. Otherwise you'll be late."
Cozy Glow grumbled, but not because she was tired and didn't want to get out of bed. It was something far more different.
As soon as she exited her chambers, she stormed to the table, slamming the bowl of cereal and spoon down.
"Cozy Glow, I know we're villains and all, but there is always a fine line between evil and your attitude. Tell me, why are you angry?" Tirek said.
Cozy Glow rolled her eyes, ignoring him. Eventually she answered. "You enrolled me in school, didn't you?" she asked in a violent tone.
"What else could I do?" Tirek said.
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe considering how I feel about this whole predicament!" Cozy Glow said, "You even offered to listen to me once and above all, you gave me a home. A cesspool, but a home. Now you betray me. Ouch." She flew around Tirek after she was finished with her breakfast. "And if it's that blasted School of Friendship, I don't care who you are, you're dead to me. Both in the literal sense and figurative sense! YOU HEAR ME?"
Tirek nodded.
Twenty five minutes later, they arrived at the School of Friendship.
"You've gotta be bucking kidding me," Cozy Glow said as soon as they arrived. She then got the most amazing idea.
"I thought you hated here," Tirek noted.
"Oh, I do," Cozy Glow said, "Hate it with a passion. But you know who we're after, right? Oh, this is perfect!"
Tirek smiled. "You're right," he said, "Twilight and her friends are here. By getting close to them and stealing their magic, we can finally be victorious!"
Before she left, Tirek smiled at Cozy Glow. "You go right in there and you make Father Tirek proud. You got that?"
"Golly, that's a lot to take in, Father Tirek, but I'll do my best," Cozy Glow said, "And oh, I know my way home."
Then Tirek left.

Cozy Glow entered the School of Friendship, taking deep breaths. Remember the plan, she thought.
Right at that moment, Cozy Glow bumped into Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo - - - better known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders or CMCs.
"Hi there. Are you new here?" they asked.
"I don't know, am I?" Cozy Glow said in her best sweet voice.
"You seem lost. Come with us! We can show you around!" said Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo.
Sure they were starting to annoy her, but she was gaining progress. Befriend three and then you'll have no problem tricking the others to trust you. Her plan was foolproof--- just how she liked it.
"Oh, thanks. I'm glad you could be so kind as to do that," Cozy Glow said with a smile on her face.
Keeping the Bewitching Bell by her side at all times, unsure of its power, she often reminded herself to be kind and nice. She also made sure to frequently remind herself that friendship is power and most necessarily not magic. But nothing could mask how Cozy Glow felt inside, she was lost inside. She needed them more than she ever thought.

Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo looked at her in silence.
Cozy Glow grew furious. "QUIT LOOKING AT ME, YOU IDIOTS!" she shouted, "IT'S CREEPY! YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOU PRACTICALLY LIVE HERE AT THIS DUMP!"
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo shrugged, afraid of what would happen if they were to ask what was wrong.
At that, Cozy Glow forced a smile, convincing them that she was fine. She switched the subject. "I hope you understand. I'm still new this whole friendship thing." She almost choked when she said the word friendship. But she didn't let the CMCs see.
That gave the Cutie Mark Crusaders an idea. "How about you come to our Clubhouse?"
"I appreciate the invite, guys, but really? Are you sure?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Don't be so modest, Cozy Glow," said Apple Bloom, "It'll be alright."
Cozy Glow looked around and paused. Thinking about the endless opportunities she'd have if she followed them, she finally made up her mind. She flashed a genuine smile and followed them. But as she followed them, her facial expression transformed into an evil grin.
Everything is going according to plan, she thought.
At the Clubhouse, the Cutie Mark Crusaders discussed amongst themselves the plan for Cozy Glow.
She approached them, asking, "Why aren't I included?"
"We're trying to figure out a plan that can help you," they replied, "It's top secret business."
"What do you mean 'top secret'? So you invite me into your little treehouse, and then you go out and disinclude me!" Cozy Glow said, "I don't know why you friendship bound ponies don't even treat me like I exist! And quite frankly, I'm over it!"
She destroyed the Clubhouse, throwing pictures off the treehouse walls and chairs onto the ground. Trotting up to them, she got right in their faces. "Oh, I'm sorry. Am I making you feel uncomfortable? TOO BAD!" Cozy Glow said.
She continued to destroy the Clubhouse, threatening to burn it to the ground.
Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo hid in the corner, huddled together in fear.
Cozy Glow just got closer. "Afraid, stupid ponies? Well, I'm used to it by now. Oh, and friendship is power, not magic! Try drilling that into your peasized brains!" she said in an intimidating manner, "Thank you for letting me into your mediocre life! Seems like I'm not your true friend."
She trotted around them in a circle. "Well, that's just fine! Nopony cares about Cozy Glow. I'll let you know that I'm a lone wolf!"
Cozy Glow stormed out of the Clubhouse, slamming the door shut behind her.

But all the Cutie Mark Crusaders were just what she didn't want. Though she wasn't planning on doing anything to them yet, she could see their concern showing on their faces.
Cozy Glow glared at them with a stone like stare that could scare anypony.
The next day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders went to school at the School of Friendship. "You coming, Cozy Glow?" they asked.
Cozy Glow nodded and ran up with them. "Why did you hide things from me? That made me angry because you disincluded me," she said.
"We're sorry, Cozy Glow. This time we will make it right by listening to your side of the story and treating you everypony else," the Cutie Mark Crusaders apologised.
"Oh, you will?" Cozy Glow asked, "Perfect!"
Just then, Twilight Sparkle spotted Cozy Glow, noting that she was a new student. She smiled at Cozy Glow. "Welcome to the School of Friendship," Twilight said.
Cozy Glow felt a welcoming feeling, but masked it as well as she could.
"You seem to be good friends with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Maybe they can show you around and we could work on your schedule for friendship classes!" Twilight exclaimed.
Rolling her eyes, Cozy Glow ripped the schedule to shreds. "I appreciate what you're doing, Princess, I really do," she said, "But don't you think you're trying a little too hard?"
"What do you mean, Cozy?" Twilight asked.
Cozy Glow shrugged and began to trot backwards. Then, she trotted straight up to Twilight Sparkle. "You wanna know what I think? No? Well, that's too darn bad," Cozy Glow said, pinning Twilight to the ground, "Try less and let these poor ponies and creatures be free."
Now was when Twilight got released.
"Now, I have a bargain. If you do, I will be your Vice Principal of the Gosh Awful School of Friendship," Cozy Glow, "So, Twilight Sparkle, whaddya say?"
Twilight Sparkle, feeling defeated with no other choice, shook on it after thinking it over. "Deal."
Cozy Glow grinned evilly. "I'm glad you finally changed your mind, stupid Twilight! I mean, you? In charge of a whole kingdom?" She laughed. "You're a joke!" Cozy Glow put the School of Friendship on lockdown.

Cozy Glow was greeted by Tirek as soon as she set down her things. Too indulged in her rage, she automatically stormed to her room.
Queen Chrysalis turned to Tirek. "Was it something I did?" She shrugged and trotted away.
Cozy Glow glared at the wall, using her newly home plushies of the Mane 6 and the Cutie Mark Crusaders to enact her plan to storm the school, steal their magic, and kill them with a bloodied knife.
Tirek knocked at the door. Enraged, Cozy Glow threw the knife at the wall, not feeling like getting up and answering. Ponies were getting on her nerves and she needed immediate revenge.
Eventually, she couldn't stand it any longer. Cozy Glow opened the door with her eyes flinching in a creepy way.
"What's going on, Cozy Glow?" Tirek asked.
No answer. Cozy Glow refused to talk about it, trying to shoo him away. But it didn't work. When Tirek persisted, she couldn't believe it.
"I wanted a home with a cosy glow, but that stupid school didn't cut it. The way they hit it hard with the friendship lessons just made me angry," Cozy replied.
Tirek thought about those lousy ponies, especially Twilight and her friends. "What if I help you seek the revenge you want?" he suggested, "I also have some beef to be settled with them."
Cozy Glow shook her head. "I'm fine, Father Tirek. This is my job and mine alone, so don't interfere!" she said, "It's their fault I've softened a little too much when trying to fit in. Now do you see why this has to be my battle?"

That night when everypony was asleep, Cozy Glow lie awake, thinking about her plan in the morning for when she arrived at school. She eventually nodded off to sleep with an evil grin crossing her face as she cuddled the stuffies of the ponies she would be getting her revenge on once and for all.
Morning came and Cozy Glow couldn't wait to go to school. Instead of waiting for Tirek to take her there, she spread her wings and flew to school with both Grogar's Bewitching Bell and the knife.
"You can run, but you can't hide!" Cozy Glow threatened, now an alicorn thanks to the Bewitching Bell.
Everypony tried to run, but Cozy Glow beat them down by stealing their magic.
"Cozy Glow! What are you doing? Stop!" Twilight cried.
But Cozy Glow couldn't hear her. She continued to suck up everypony's magic nonstop. "I can't stop. It's too much fun! If only you bothered to understand where I'm coming from, I wouldn't have destroyed the place,"she said," Oh, the way things work out. Fascinating, aren't they?"

Twilight Sparkle saw Cozy Glow clutching the bloodied knife in one hoof,to which Cozy Glow didn't hold back. "What are you doing with that knife, Cozy Glow?" she asked.
"I'm here to prove that friendship is indeed power," Cozy replied, "And what better way to do it then to kill you and your stupid flank friends!"
Cozy Glow proceeded with her plan, immediately knocking the Mane 6 to the ground with her newly found alicorn magic. She cackled louder and louder as she realised that she was victorious.
So, Cozy Glow rose the bloodied knife above her head. But before she could stab it into Twilight and the others, the Cutie Mark Crusaders swooped in to stop her.
At that moment, it wasn't clear to her what to feel, so she felt complete and utter betrayal combined with complete and utter rage. She was experiencing some sort of mixed feelings. Yes, Cozy Glow thought, It's betranger.
"Oh, c'mon, guys!" Cozy Glow said with a nervous laugh towards Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo,"This is all just a misunderstanding."
But they didn't care.
Immediately, Cozy enchanted the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She smiled, admiring their new brainwashed look from afar. "Oh, don't be like that, guys! You totally look better this way. Too bad you couldn't stay around a little longer. I was starting to get attached to you," she said, "Not!"
Cozy Glow cackled as she brought them down with her magic, sucking up all of theirs in return. Along with Twilight and her friends, the Cutie Mark Crusaders struck the ground.
Oh, if Father Tirek could see me now, Cozy Glow thought, He'd be so proud!
Just at that moment when Cozy Glow was celebrating victory, Twilight and her friends pick themselves up. They managed to turn Cozy Glow to stone with the Elements of the Harmony, but she was too quick. Instead of striking Cozy Glow, they missed and accidentally hit a marble pole nearby.

They just glared at her.
"Seems like I didn't. Well, now you know," Cozy Glow said.
She rounded each one of the Mane 6 and threw them to the ground again with her magic. Twilight and her friends landed right in the middle of Cozy Glow's trap.
"And now you've fallen into my trap. How cute," Cozy Glow said, "This is too easy. Now that you've fallen into my little trap, you can't escape. And you know what that means, stupid ponies? That makes it so much easier to finish you off."
Cozy smiled. "Oh, it's so good to be bad. Now to head home to tell Father Tirek the awesomest news!"
So she made her exit and returned home victorious, as every good villain shall.
But will Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity still try? Probably. But for now, Cozy Glow was safe and sound.
