And that's how it ended.

Spike looked upon Ponyville with a maniacal grin. Eyes blazing, teeth gnashing, claws clenching, tail coiled tightly. A fiery pleasure welling up deep inside the dragon ready to burst into a jaded conflagration. The frightening scene unraveling itself before the jubilant dragon was quite arousing. Spike found great sexual pleasure in such a sight. His blood boiled from the very thought that he had been the cause for such a spectacle. How beautiful it was.

Spike bounced atop Rainbow Dash as she hovered above a Ponyville utterly destroyed. Wrapping his claws in her rainbow-patterned mane, Spike jerked Rainbow Dash's head back.

"Like what you see, Dash?" Spike chuckled nastily. "Ponyville screams, and it's all thanks to your unrivaled loyalty."

Rainbow Dash pants heavily, maintaining balance as she continues to flap her powerful wings in the blackened sky. The blue pegasus strains to catch a glimpse at Spike's amused countenance, eyeing the dragon with a lustful admiration for the creature yanking at her mane.

"It's all thanks to you, Spike." breathed Rainbow Dash.

Spike pointed a sharp claw below, a grin widening even further at the sight of Cherilee's body twitching furiously on the ground. "Check it out, Dash! Miss Cherilee seems to be enjoying herself!"

Spike then bursts out in laughter, yanking Rainbow Dash's head up higher.

"Everypony will now understand the love you've shown them all." Rainbow Dash giggled excitedly, hoping Spike would again praise her soon.

Spike stares at the back of Rainbow Dash's neck and says "Oh, not yet everypony, Dash. Ponyville may be experiencing the the delight of my gifts, but there's still one more place we have to hit up."

Curious, Rainbow Dash cranes her neck backward, finally staring at Spike's glowing eyes. They were so wonderfully bright and dreamy.

"Where to, Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked with a huge smile.

"To Canterlot. Luna should have everything ready for when I arrive. Think you can handle transporting me there, Dash?" Spike looked upon the Pegasus, expecting an answer that would please him.

Rainbow Dash happily complied "Of course, Spike!"

Rainbow Dash hovered lower to the ground, catching the sight of an unconscious Applejack sprawled out at the doorstep of Sugar Cube Corner. Suddenly, Pinkie Pie bounces over Applejack, shrieking incoherently with a crazed facial expression seeming to have dominated her mental state.

"Party Cannon! Party Cannon! Party Cannon!" Pinkie Pie screamed, bouncing around Ponyville with no certain direction. "The Party's non-stop! So smile, smile, smile!"

Pinkie Pie then jumps right in front of a confused and horrified Derpy Hooves. The young pony just woke up from such a nice nap. "Now that you're up, Derpy, it's time to party!"

Derpy Hooves backs herself away from Pinkie Pie until she trips and lands right on her romp. Why is everyone acting so strangely? Where's everyone else? Why is there so much green smoke?

"Why aren't you smiling, you silly pony?" Pinkie Pie screeches, bouncing and head-bumping Derpy into the brittle ground. "Smile, smile, smile! Smile, Derpy! Smile as wide you can! Like this!"

Pinkie Pie giggles wildly, eyes rolling and tongue swinging helplessly. She then forces a smile so wide it seems her bottom lip would rip from the strain.

Spike busts a gut at this scene, almost falling off Rainbow Dash. The look on Derpy's face! Pure Comedy Gold!

"Ready to go, Spike?" asked Rainbow Dash, gearing up and ready to shoot out towards the direction of Canterlot's location. "Hold on tightly to my mane. As tightly as you can, too!"

Spike knew Rainbow Dash had added that last bit for her own pleasure, and he found this fact to be hilarious.

Spike allows himself to finish laughing at the sight of Pinkie Pie bouncing atop Derpy Hoove's body, who has apparently fainted from shock. "Yeah, yeah. Let's go before my innards implode from too much hilarity."

Spike quickly evaluates the past events. How Spike has gotten this far from being a push-over assistant for Twilight Sparkle to bringer of a new era for Equestria seemed almost fictional of a situation. Yet deep down Spike knew it was a matter of time until everypony, creature and being in Equestia would cater to his every whim. Whether it being an Allicorn, a full-grown dragon or an Ursa Major, Spike knew he would soon have all entities fawning over him. The time of Spike was now, and he planned to enjoy every part of it.

Spike unleashed another toothy grin, taking in everything as it unfolds upon Ponyville in both rapidity and elasticity. "Call me Master, you sexy Pegasus."

Rainbow Dash gasped and shivered in both fear and complete adoration for the dragon. "Y-yes...Mast-er."

"Who's Master?" Spike dug in.

Rainbow Dash was now drooling in sheer ecstasy. "M-my Master!"

At that, an obedient Rainbow Dash shot out into a sea of blackness, rocketing towards Spike's next conquest. Spike felt a surge of pleasure - of luxury - unlike any jewel he's ever tasted in his life. The sensation was ravishing, exciting, orgasmic and seemingly unstoppable. His life had changed for the better, and he knew it. He could feel it deep within his very core. A core that had become more opaque...and he was loving it.

"Oh, Rarity." Spike breathed as his environs blurred. A dark smile budded. "You're a drug."

Chapter One: A Look Into The Pleasurable Future

Author's Note:

Hello, new Brony here. I am writing this piece of fiction because of an idea that doesn't seem to leave me. I just feel it would be interesting to see Spike as an antagonist. I feel Spike would make a great antagonist to Equestria with the use of a few resources. And Spike definitely has everything he needs to move towards a conquest. We'll see how the story ends up. Also, just in case you have not yet figured, this chapter takes place some time in the future. How everything has been brought about to this particular scene will be explained starting in the next chapter. Oh, and I really like Trixie, so readers should expect her to enter the fray. Is that a spoiler?

Spike's Long-Awaited Conquest

And that's how it began.

"Spike, it's so nice to see you. What brings you here? I did not receive a message of your future arrival."

"Hello, Princess Celestia." Spike greeted the alicorn with a bright smile. "I apologize for not sending a message. I was pretty distracted, and I just kind of ended up here."

"Oh, it's quite alright. When the guards informed me of your coming, I was both surprised and happy. Your presence alone has brightened up my day." Celestia continued to smile softly.

Spike smirked. "Ah, I get it! So I've brightened up the sun, eh?"

Celestia looked upon Spike in amusement, giggling quietly to herself. "Your humor never tires, I see. That's a good thing."

Spike the Dragon and Celestia the Alicorn laughed among themselves in unison. What a pleasant moment it was. A picture-perfect scene seemingly insignificant in the eyes of an audience but special to the two involved.

Or so Celestia thought.

At that particular moment Spike desired to grab the Princess's s snout and drag her down to his eye level. He would then breathe a fire so ferocious no form of magic would bring her face back to a recognizable state.

Yet Spike kept himself from partaking in any such action. Other plans needed to be dealt with. He wasn't here for Celestia, in any case. He will maintain himself in the presence of the Princess...for today.

"How are Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the Elements doing, Spike?" Celestia asked after a refreshing fit of laughter.

"Ah, Twilight's being Twilight - studying like crazy every day and having me at her beck and call." Spike replied sardonically. "Applejack's still bucking for apples, Rainbow's speeding around, Pinkie's partying, and Fluttershy's still caring for the animals."

Celestia turned to lead Spike into her private chambers. She assumed Spike had come for a more personal confrontation. Knowing Spike's dependence on Twilight Sparkle, Celestia doubted the little dragon simply "ended up" at the Canterlot Castle by himself.

He must be here to see me for a specific reason. Celestia contemplated to herself.

Of course, the Princess had no qualms of Spike's sudden appearance. A charming individual entering the royal grounds would make for an interesting situation any day. And anytime a dear friend desired aid Celestia was sure to use all her power to provide it.

As always, Spike was mystified by the sheer enormity of the castle's interior. Polished marble and proper furnishings enchanting the many rooms and halls within the expansive capital brought the young dragon into a reverie, creating a hot stir within his small body. The stir strengthened every second Spike eyed the marvelous decor.

For soon Spike will label all this his own. At that thought, a grin of pure wickedness materialized upon the dragon's countenance.

Celestia, not having noticed Spike's maddening facial expression. "And Rarity is still creating extraordinary dresses, I assume."

Spike immediately produced a stoic expression the second Rarity's name was heard. Rarity...She destroys more than she creates. The pony of his dreams of experiences passed is now the present topic, sitting atop a throne as if she were so great. As if her name deserved to be relayed so easily. Rarity is Queen of the world, huh? She's the bright, up-and-coming fashionista youth all of Canterlot's talking about? Belle of the ball? Creme de la Creme? She's not just another Jane Doe? That little pony is not just a worthless piece of dirt that needs to be spat at and stepped on with a tremendous force inflicting permanent damage to her very soul?

Spike made great effort to force down vomit as it rose in his throat.

"Well, that's not the case, now is it?" Spike muttered to himself in enmity.

"What did you say, Spike?" Celestia asked, slightly confused.

Spike awoke, saving himself from misunderstanding. "Ah, I meant Rarity's dresses aren't just extraordinary. They're unimaginably extraordinary!"

Coming up with efficient lies so quickly does not seem to be a strong suit to Spike. That would have to change now.

"Well, I guess unimaginably extraordinary just makes her dresses that much more special, doesn't it?" Celestia smiled kindly at Spike, agreeing with his remark. "So how I can help you, young Spike?"

"Princess, being in your company is always a pleasure. Thanks again for having me. But I'd like to ask for a favor, if that's okay." Spike concentrated, making sure the next words coming out of his mouth wouldn't leave a hint of malevolent intentions. Not that he feared Celestia would be suspicious of him, yet Spike truly felt caution and patience allowed for success in any type of plot. After having to deal with an obsessive-compulsive pony for most his life, Spike has learned a few things about task completion.

This plot must be a success.

"May I speak to Princess Luna?"

"Luna?" Taken aback by Spike's request, Celestia rose her head high.

"Yes, I have something to ask the Princess. Is she here?" Spike felt he already knew the answer.

Arching an eyebrow, Celestia looked out an open window. The sun was high and the sky was blanketed by scattered clouds. Another peaceful day adorned the city of Canterlot, and Celestia took pride in the enjoyment and happiness of her fellow subjects.

"I apologize, Spike, but Princess Luna is resting at the moment. It takes quite a bit of energy to raise up such a brilliant moon and decorate the sky with glittering stars each night." Celestia looked back to Spike with an apologetic expression on her face. "Why would you like to meet with Princess Luna?"

"Well, that's the thing. I'm here on a special assignment." Spike answered truthfully.

"For Twilight Sparkle?"

"No, for myself." Spike replied enthusiastically. "I have a few questions about the moon, and I thought Princess Luna would be the perfect one to ask."

"I agree that she would be the right choice for such inquire. Is your interest that strong for the moon?"

"Oh, yes, Princess. Very much so. The moon is so beautiful, and I can't help but stare at it each night. I just want to know everything about it. Oh, not to say your sun isn't beautiful either. Celestia's sun is always a treat!" Spike assured Celestia, attempting to butter her up.

Celestia seemed a bit conflicted on what type of action she should make. Her younger sister slept through each day in order to be well-rested for the night, and she would not want to disturb her. Yet Celestia also found Spike's interest in the moon an opportunity to bring Luna into her subjects' personal circle. Celestia understood Luna's attempts at befriending the ponies of Ponyville and Canterlot were not faring too well, partly due to Luna's past as an antagonist. Maybe a bit of social time with Spike could brighten up her night.

"I see." Celestia nodded in understanding. "I believe I could relay to you information on the moon. But I know my sister would appreciate your interests. I'll see what I can do. Would you mind waiting here for now?"

Spike smiled innocently. "Of course, Princess Celestia! Thanks!"

Celestia stepped out of her private quarters and left Spike alone. Spike's innocent smile turned dark, a maniacal smirk creeping upon his facial guise.

"Celestia, you bitch. You'll pay for bringing me here." Spike stood stiffly in the castle's quarters, his claws clenched tightly in anticipation.

Spike's heart rate quickened. It was finally happening. The plan's started off well enough. Luna is a vulnerable mare. On Nightmare night, Spike observed the dark allicorn go on an emotional rollercoaster. She went from hopeful to confused to depressed to frustrated to elated. Anypony that can run through so many sentiments in one night is bound to be easy to conquer. Spike doubted she'd be an obstacle in his path to conquest. Vulnerability brings about weaknesses. Weaknesses exposed are the most easy to strike at. And Spike was going to strike at Luna's very core. He'll pluck her heartstrings until each one snaps.

For a moment Spike was surprised by his own thoughts. Just yesterday the dragon had been carelessly skipping along to the Carousel Boutique with a gift in his hand, a simple grin plastered on his round face. The sky sported a beautiful blue sky and wonderfully white clouds. Ponies of varying colors and sizes trotted through the small town in normalcy, creating an atmosphere of unadulterated serenity. Now Spike stands stock still in Canterlot, a horrifyingly delicious scheme brewing within his mind that he cannot wait to initiate. A pure mindset no longer bathed the dragon in ignorance and naïveté. He's matured considerably in the past twenty-four hours. For a darkness was consuming him.

And he welcomed it.

"Oh, Rarity." Spike grunted, using every ounce of willpower to keep himself from breaking something in the room. "You've shown me the light."

The Lunar Conquest (Part One)

And that's when it landed.

"Spike, I've spoken to Princess Luna, and she's agreed to meet with you privately. She awaits you in her room." Celestia stepped back insider her private quarters.

Spike, eager and left in great anticipation, reacted. "That's great, Princess Celestia! Thank you so much for this! Really, I mean it!"

Celestia nodded humbly. "It is no problem at all, Spike. Luna's very excited herself, I'm sure."

Celestia accompanied the baby dragon to Luna's own private quarters. As the two inched nearer to the doors providing as the entrance to Luna's domicile, Spike could feel his heart become heavier...and heavier.

A heavy heart is a frightening thing. Spike's heart sank deeper into his chest at each step taken. It was as though his blood organ was slowly being filled with coal, blackening and plunging itself further into an inescapable void.

The time of eve was near. Spike's long-awaited conquest was beginning.

Knock, knock. The white allicorn brought her hoof up to tap lightly on Luna's door.

"Come in, please." A faint voice is heard from behind the castle door.

Celestia looked upon Spike tenderly. "You may go in now. Have fun. If you need me for later, ask one of the royal guards, and I'll see you out."

"I'll be sure to ask." Spike replied with a half-hearted smile.

At that, Celestia left Spike in front of Luna's abode. Spike reached up to wrap a claw around a doorknob...

And he entered.

"Good afternoon, dragon. Please, come forward." A soft voice emanated from the shadows of the room. "It seems we have much to discuss."

Spike smirked coyly, a tenebrous tone setting in. "We sure do, my Princess. We sure do."

"First, allow me to apologize for the lack of light. Truthfully, I am not so used to being up in the hours of day, so my body needs a bit of adjustment." Princess Luna's face lit itself from the shadows as she stepped closer to Spike. "It is quite embarrassing for a Princess to expose faults in front of her subjects."

Spike scanned his surroundings. The private quarters of the dark allicorn fit quite well in theme. Indistinct objects placed around a dimly-lit dwelling, shades and curtains blocking the sun's rays from seeping in. As Spike's eyes grew more adjusted to the level of darkness, he could vaguely figure a tall, sleek and elegant being nearing. Appropriately, the radiance from the Princess's ever-flowing mane served as a mesmerizing centerpiece suitable for the opaque settlement.

"I could care less." Spike absorbed the environment with a slow inhalation. "Actually, I find the atmosphere to be fitting."

Princess Luna halted and wondered how to respond. She figured the dragon's most humble and polite response to her concerns would be to address the fact that she was not at fault for being called upon in the first place. The fact that the young subject did not bother to reassure her may very well outline his levels of maturity. "Well, I guess that's fine. My sister told me of your interest in the moon. I am appreciative that a resident of this land can find peace from such a majestic orb of night."

Spike began to play along. "You know, I really like..."

Until he realized he didn't need to any longer.

Enough of this meandering. It's time to conquer this bitch. Spike simpered.

"Yeah, I don't care for the moon either. Just a dull piece of rock, I'd say." Spike grinned excitedly.

Princess Luna was now shocked by this sudden line. Never did she expect to be so startled and insulted.

"The look on your little face! Oh, that tasted delicious. Give me more, Princess." Spike licked his lips conspicuously, teasing the jolted allicorn.

Princess Luna frowned. What a disappointment. To think she would still be seen as a villainous fiend amongst her subjects. This little dragon was obviously intimidating her for whatever reason. He must still be disillusioned by her initial presence as Nightmare Moon a while back. The figure of royalty demanded respect.

"Why art thou behaving in such a distasteful manner, young dragon?" Luna spoke archaically to emphasize dominance.

"Oh, so now you're going Ye Olde on me, huh? Doesn't fit you, sorry." Spike slowly made his way to Princess Luna, flustering her with his sarcasm. He looked the allicorn up and down before saying "Well, you're a pretty one, aren't you, Princess?"

"Wilt thy halt such-" The Princess started.

"Nay, I shall not halt, wench!" Spike cut off, mimicking the Princess. "Cometh hither, you dog! Thine master is...hither?"

Astounded and frustrated by such mockery, the Princess stamped her hoof forcefully and bellowed in unimaginable volumes. "Hath thy cometh upon madness? Know thy place, commoner! Nary a being shall insult a Princess of royalty!"

The cacophony that was the traditional Canterlot voice spread throughout the room, making Spike stumble over on himself.

And then Spike snickered. A snicker became a chuckle, a chuckle transitioned into a laugh, and a laugh burst into a howl of pure hysteria. Spike lie flopped on the floor, convulsing and crowing in shrieks and uncontrollable fits of laughter. This is pure beauty! This! This is just lucid!

All the while Princess Luna stared at the tiny dragon struggling to calm himself and find his bearings. The sight of such intimation - such taunting - rendered the allicorn fuming.

"Thou guffaws at thine Princess, dragon? Thou hath partaken in treason! We shall see to it that thou be rightfully punished!" The royal Canterlot voice shot up an improbably high pitch.

Finally coming down from his frenzy, Spike retorted. "Oh, you're a hoot, Princess. But you're going to need to quiet down. We don't want any royal chump guards coming in and ruining all the fun."

Princess Luna's agitation could not be matched. Here stood a creature so minute and insignificant yet it presented itself before the Princess as a king, ridiculing her in her own home.

Stamping her hoof near the dragon's feet, she growled. "We applied a sound barrier for this very occasion. Thine Princess reasoned privacy was of utmost importance."

Spike rubbed his chin contemplatively. "Good call, Princess. If a guard had come while you were acting like a bitch in heat, I'd be, well, in dog shit. I'm going to need to be more careful."

"Art thou not the kin of Twilight Sparkle? Such a foul mouth-"

"Alright, enough with the Ye Olde speech. Now's the time for business." Once again, Spike cut off Princess Luna. "I'm here to make you a proposition. And I'm sure you'll accept heartily."

"We shall not be paying heed to any of thine nonsense!" The Princess replied with a glare.

"I beg to differ. What if I told you I can give you everything you've ever wanted, Princess? What if I promised you the position of ultimate ruler of this land? The position you've deserved all your life." Spike's eyes glinted from the glow of Princess Luna's mane.

In an instant Princess Luna was rendered speechless. No cognitive processes went through the allicorn's mind. What the dragon had just spouted was just too much of a bombshell to even say anything.

The Princess experienced a pressure unlike any other. The pressure seemed to have been concentrated in her chest. Something was lurking within her very being, she knew. Something dark was gradually taking hold of her soul. Something terrifying. Something terrorizing.

And she understood it. This sense of dread and despair. This baneful entity. A scheme, she realized. It was a goal intended to be achieved through acts of atrocity. Calamitous and destructive. She understood it. For she's been consumed by it before.

Evil.

For the first time, the Princess looked into the eyes of the leering dragon.

And she was scared.

"What is this?" Parolized and bereft of the traditional Canterlot voice, the dark allicorn choked out.

"Oh, Princess..." Spike drove his stare deeper into the now-helpless allicorn. "You're in for a treat."
